Our wedding experience with Bay Pointe Inn was everything we could have hoped for plus more! Everything was absolutely perfect! It all started with our tour with Sales Manager Mariesa. She showed us the different venues to hold the wedding, and that’s when we fell in love with the Lakefront Pavilion and its beautiful views right on Gun Lake. From there, my fiancée and I worked with the Catering Event Manager Juno to plan the nitty and gritty details. Juno was a constant professional and helped us plan every second of our wedding and food details. The day of our wedding, Courtney took great care of us and ensured that everything went perfectly throughout the day. She even went above and beyond and arranged the flowers on our cake, which turned out beautifully! We couldn't have asked for a better event supervisor for our big day and we are so grateful to her for helping make the day perfect and stress-free.Thank you so much to everyone at Bay Pointe!

I could not say anything better about Bay Pointe! They made our wedding absolutely perfect and I would choose them again time and time again. Leading up to our day, they were very responsive and made sure all of the details were ironed out. We rented out the Boathouse Villa, which was the most adorable space (both for the wedding and an incredible weekend spent celebrating with friends and family)! We received so many compliments about the food, venue, and overall relaxed vibe. We worked with Jessica on the details and Jocelyn on the day of and they were both incredible. I highly recommend this venue!

We fell in love with Bay Pointe when we went to view the venue. All of the staff members were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Madison was very patient with us, especially towards the end of our crazy planning. We had Paige as a day of coordinator and she was the absolute best. The food was amazing and the scenery was perfect for beautiful photos. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Bay Pointe for making our wedding so perfect.

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! We are a bit older and had a very small wedding, the staff was very accommodating and treated us so wonderful! All of our guests were very impressed with the venue and staff. We used one of the recommendations from the venue for the photographers. Amy Carroll Photography, and we are SO in love with our photos from her!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! We also used bee entertainment for our music. They were very nice.

My husband and I just had our wedding at Bay Pointe and it was like a fairy tale. It was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the service was great! Our day of coordinator was Jocelyn and I can't stress enough how outstanding she was. I am such a stresser and always worry about the little details but with Jocelyn, she stayed on top of everything and was on took care of every detail before I even had time to think of it, much less stress, leaving me to have a more fun and relaxing day than I ever dreamed possible! Madison and Ashley were my point people leading up to the wedding and they were fantastic. My husband and I live out of state so there were so many emails back and forth as I asked them extra questions, not knowing the area. They always answered quickly and never seemed to mind. Madison in particular was invaluable helping me with the DJ, who had extra questions and concerns.As for the venue itself, it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and exceeded my expectations. The room was so nice, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with comfortable pillows and super soft sheets and blankets. The Jacuzzi tub was super great too, especially after the long day of being on our feet. Also, I highly, highly recommend grabbing some of the cookies after check in. They are fantastic and go quickly!All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding. I was very happy with everything!

Bay pointe provided the absolute most beautiful wedding I could have ever asked for. My grand parents lived on gun lake my whole life and just recently passed so it was so special to get to have my wedding there. Everything was great, Juno was an incredible communicator, everything runs like a WELL oiled machine, and they had a plan for everything. It was on the expensive side for sure, but there was a lot of stuff that came with that that I didn’t have to worry about and peace of mind is great. If we could get married again we would do it at bay pointe a thousand times over.

We had an amazing wedding thanks to Bay Pointe Inn! Madison was so easy to work with and we had Jocelyn for our day of coordinator, and she was great! Our ceremony & reception was at the lakefront lawn and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing! Along with having a hotel right on site was perfect for our guests so they did not have to drive home. I am thankful for having our wedding in late September as Gun Lake is very popular in the summer time so the resort does get really busy by the docks especially. I did get nervous with strangers walking through but there was staff on site watching. Overall, we are very thankful to have found this venue and will be coming back to make visits on our anniversary. :)

We chose Bay Pointe Inn’s Boathouse Villa for our weekend stay, wedding ceremony and reception. This several-story, historic, lakefront villa with outdoor dining space was such a unique and stunning choice (for our smaller, 80-person wedding). We couldn’t be happier with our decision.Bay Pointe’s staff were amazing from the day I first reached out to the days following the big event. Their prompt, thorough responses took much of the stress off planning a wedding, and they made us feel welcome at every turn whenever we visited.

Baypointe and their staff have weddings down to a science!! Not only did our big day go amazingly but the communication before hand. Madison and Ashley answered any question via the phone or email and always invited me to swing by with question if i wanted to! For someone who didn’t know what to expect in the wedding planning world they were amazing!!! The venue is stunning i love having everything in on spot! The girls were able to get ready at the cottages, plenty of places for fun wedding photos and being able to stay on sight after our big day was so convenient!

Bay Pointe Inn was the best wedding venue we could have asked for. We got married 8/26/23 and it couldn't have been a more perfect day. The lakefront venue was absolutely stunning and getting married by the water was beautiful. The reception area was gorgeous and cozy. The staff was incredible, especially Paige, who was our day-of event coordinator. She went above and beyond and made us feel cared for in every way. If we needed something, she took care of it. She made the day that much better for us and treated us like we were the most important people in the world. Our guests absolutely loved the venue as well. We live about two hours away from the venue and were asked several times how we ended up finding such an incredible place. We were told by many of our friends and family that this was one of their all time favorite weddings to have attended. The food and drinks were also fantastic. If you're looking for a magical venue for your fairytale wedding with beachy/lake vibes then this is it. It was an absolute dream for a summer wedding and it's one we'll never forget. Thank you, Bay Pointe for going above and beyond!

I got married at Bay Pointe Inn in April 2023. They allowed us to get married on the Lakefront, and our reception was held at the Woods. We got endless compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was, and it was the perfect location. Throughout planning, the staff was extremely accommodating and always ready to answer any questions. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room the night before our wedding, stayed in the cottages so we could get ready there the morning of the wedding, and stayed in the complementary bridal suite the night of our wedding. Everything was extremely clean and organized, and the food was great for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Thanks to Bay Pointe (and our vendors) our vision was executed flawlessly, and everything went as planned. I can not recommend Bay Pointe enough for your wedding day!

From the views to the food, Bay Pointe was everything we could have hoped for. Bay Pointe was the first venue we looked at in the heart of the winter, but knew we wanted a summer wedding on the water. We booked it immediately. The food was delicious, the views were incredible and the staff was so helpful at every single stage. Every person at our wedding kept asking how we found this place and how much they want to come back. Its literally perfect. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room and watched the sunset. On our wedding day, it down poured during our ceremony time but Paige, our coordinator from Bay Pointe (another reason they are amazing, they provide a day of coordinator) had such a positive outlook, being the bride, I was more calm than half the wedding because I knew the rain would pass, sure enough it did and the sun peaked out and it cooled off, making for a literally perfect evening. We had a party bus pick up a large group post reception and took us to Gun Lake Casino for an after party! The casino also provides a 14 passenger shuttle free of charge. Overall, if you are thinking about having your wedding here, DO IT!

We had our wedding at Bay Pointe Woods back in June! We were both so impressed throughout the whole process. Jessica was always available to answer any questions we had leading up to our day, and the staff (and our vendors) the day of were excellent and took care of everything! It was so nice to be able relax while getting ready and not have to worry about anything. Rehearsal was also great! They have day of coordinators provided for you (that do everything except setup your own decor that your bring in) and they were so helpful in going over everything and assuring us it would go as planned. We had a Thursday rehearsal (Friday wedding) so nothing else was going on that evening afterwards. Our bridal party and family were able to hangout outside around the fire pits, and they let us bring in our own drinks and pizza (ordered from Lakeside Pizzeria right down the road on Gun lake, definitely recommend) which was super nice and saved us some money! We set up yard games and some extra lawn chairs right outside our cottage, and had a great and laid back rehearsal which is what we wanted!The Woods location itself is beautiful, and the cottages being right on site was a huge plus! Our bridal party and family all stayed the night before and the night off. The rooms were super nice, spacious, clean, and updated. Perfect to get ready in. The ceremony spot is absolutely gorgeous, and the reception area was incredible. We loved how the reception venue had a wrap around sidewalk and that guests were able to mingle inside/outside during cocktail hour and the reception. Food was also incredible! We had the prime rib, chicken chardonnay, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All amazing! Late snacks and appetizers were also delicious. Overall would 10/10 recommend. It couldn’t have gone better, and it was so great to see all of our family and friends also have a great time.

My husband and I highly recommend working with Bay Pointe for your big day! We just got married on 8.11.23 and it truly was the perfect day. The staff at Bay Pointe (shout out to Mariesa, Madison, and Jocelyn!) were all incredible. Madison was so kind about all of my questions leading up to our day. We felt in such good hands with Jocelyn during our day - she made sure everything ran on time and kept our huge wedding party in line nicely. I am SO HAPPY we decided to go with Bay Pointe. In my opinion, it was a very good value for the resources they provide and the high quality of service offered throughout the entire wedding planning process. I cannot say enough good things about Bay Pointe - THANK YOU for a wonderful and forever memorable day!

Highly recommend Bay Pointe! Our entire experience here was AMAZING! Great customer service! Everyone went out of their way to make sure every detail was thought of. My husband and I got married at the Woods and the experience was unmatched. Pretty much all planning was laid out for us and we could customize it to our needs/wants. Juno & Mariessa were a pleasure to work with over the past 6 months and were very organized & responded quickly to all communications and any questions/concerns I had. Every one of my family members along with my husband's family members enjoyed their stay at the inn & cottages. The food was AMAZING, and everyone commented on how beautiful the property was! Overall, we had amazing service, staff, accommodations, and food! We couldn't ask for a more perfect wedding!!

I would recommend Bay Pointe over and over again. We got married at the Lakefront Pavilion and the day couldn’t have been better! Jessica was such a pleasure to work with during our two years of planning. She was attentive, detailed and truly made the wedding planning process less stressful. Paige did an incredible job making sure the day of went smoothly and we had everything we needed. She truly went above and beyond the entire weekend. Having our wedding at Bay Pointe was the best decision of my life. From the moment I toured, I knew this was the place I’d say “I do”. We hosted our wedding right on the water and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. Bay Pointe has such an elegant and classy aura, you hardly need to decorate! Being able to walk down the aisle, having the backdrop being the beautiful lake, then watching the sunset from your chair in the pavilion, you can’t beat that. This is a one in a million type of venue. The beauty don’t stop there, Madison is an absolute dream to work with, she is so kind, flexible, and all around just an amazing person who coordinates seamlessly. We had a hiccup with our charger plates and cake stand, the staff didn’t miss a beat to offer what they had in stock. Bay pointe is also a hotel, so being able to stay with all of my friends and family was huge for me. All of their accommodations are absolutely amazing, I seriously couldn’t recommend Bay Pointe for your wedding enough!!!

Bay Pointe is the perfect venue for a lakefront wedding! The staff was very easy to work with and helped make the day flow smoothly! The food was amazing and the hotel is beautiful for guests. We really enjoyed getting ready in the cottages and all of the gorgeous locations for photos!

Our wedding was a true fairytale and we owe it all to Bay Pointe! We had countless guests tell us how beautiful, seamless, classy, professional and smooth our wedding day was. The planning process was seamless and efficient. The staff was consistently going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and our guests were as well. We had red wine and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our honeymoon suite on our wedding night, personalized agenda signs on their televisions screens and more. The lakeside pavilion venue was absolutely stunning! I'm so glad they made all their renovations before our wedding including a greenery wall, expanded pavilion and wedding day schedule changes. If I had to give any sort of constructive feedback it would be that I wish they wouldn't make receptions end at 11pm. We never wanted it to end and could have kept going all night! Aside from that, I would give Bay Pointe 10/5 stars if I could. I cannot recommend them enough!

If you want to spend your entire wedding reception hearing from your guests how PERFECT your venue is, then you have to book the Bay Pointe Inn. My husband and I were married at the Lakefront Pavilion on June 16th, and we had the absolute most amazing day.The staff went above and beyond for us, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and we had a fantastic time dancing the night away on Gun Lake. Having our wedding with Bay Pointe was worth every penny.

We had our wedding weekend with Bay Pointe, and it was absolutely incredible!!! We used the waterfront room for our rehearsal dinner. Everyone loved the space and it was so nice to have a private bar not to mention the water view! Saturday, we had our wedding at The Woods and it was just perfect! The landscaping, the exterior design, the stunning ballroom, the amazing food, the service- it couldn’t have gone better!!!! We got SO many compliments and everyone loved everything. Sunday, we had a brunch in the Fireside room and it was the perfect ending to our weekend! Everything was top notch, we have absolutely NO complaints! Highly highly recommend Bay Pointe for your wedding, an event, a weekend getaway, or even just dinner. You will not be disappointed!

We had our wedding here last month, and the day was absolutely beautiful. The venue itself (the woods) was amazing and our guests raved about the looks of the property. I will say, our day of coordinator was not as reliable as the coordinators that we worked with behind the scenes up until the day of which lead to a lot of unprofessionalism occurring and miscommunication which was disappointing, but nothing detrimental occurred. I don’t regret hosting our venue here at all, and would do it all over again if it meant getting the amazing photos that we did. The serving staff and hotel staff were amazing!

What can I say about Bay pointe inn omg they did everything and the day was so seemless and smooth calm and peaceful I have no complaints what's so ever they made our wedding so magical I couldn't have it any other place...Bay Pointe inn was the first and only venue we looked at the views and Scenery was everything Ashely Madison and the entire wait staff was so helpful and with ever little detail not once did i feel stressed out and as a bride that's not easy...Can't wait to go back just for a vacation thank u soo much for making us feel special

I have nothing but good things to say about Bay Pointe - we had such a great experience through the entire process of our wedding, from planning to the day-of! We had our wedding reception at Bay Pointe Woods, which was beautiful. A few pluses: there are two bars available and everything is super close by. We had quite a few people come from out of town so having the Inn across the street and the cottages right outside of the reception was perfect. We even had our rehearsal dinner at the Fireside Room at the Inn. I wanted to make planning as easy as possible and this venue definitely helped make that happen - everything is available through the venue i.e. food, drinks, linens, etc. with a few options to use outside vendors for thing such as chairs etc. but truly you don’t need to. The staff is super helpful and easy to work with as well. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

My husband & I knew we would have majority of our guests coming from out of town, so we wanted everything (RD, ceremony, reception, lodging) all in one location. BPI hit all the marks we were looking for, plus the numerous fireplaces are a nice cozy touch. Leading up to the wedding, Mariesa and Madison were great with communication, answering my string of random questions, rolling with changes I asked for and providing clear updates throughout. Boathouse - We rented the boathouse for our wedding party to stay in. We found it to be comfortable and fun! I will say, it only has two showers, so plan a shower schedule (we had some go to the main inn and use other guests they knew showers, which worked fine) We both got ready in the house on separate floors and we had fun sharing the space with both sides of the bridal party and found it had plenty of space for our large party (30ish people with family)RD - Our RD was at the boathouse and even though it poured, they put down the patio wall flaps and all our guests were able to continue having a good time. There were some drips coming through from the patio above, but that's to be expected and did not bother us at all. The food (Mediterranean Buffett) received high compliments. The Billiards Table and Shuffle Board was heavily used and the bartender was fantastic. Wedding - On the day of our wedding, we committed to an outside ceremony by the lake early in the day, with 15 minutes to go, the weather changed (thunder/heavier rain) and I started to freak. Our day-of-coordinator, Joclyn and her trainee Amanda, seamlessly got my vendors and guests across the street to the Reception Hall for an indoor Ceremony. Both were so helpful to my husband and I throughout the night as well as checked-in multiple times with MOB, FOB, MOG to make sure all needs/wants were met. The entire reception team from the carving station chef, to the dish-boys clearing tables, were friendly, personable and helpful. We received numerous compliments from Guests about how beautiful The Woods venue space was and how nice their Inn rooms and cottages were. All guests enjoyed the food (mash potatoes and roast beef BIG hits) and bar. Our bartender was fantastic, friendly and funny! Breakfast - Breakfast was the same thing each day (by day 4 I was over it) and eh. Considering all the other food we got at RD & Reception, was delicious, this was disappointing. RENT A CAR- Although we were told in the wedding info. book that getting a Lyft from the venue can be difficult, we underestimated just how difficult it would be. This was easily the biggest headache. Every single guest (15ish) who had a confirmed Lyft or car service scheduled ahead of time for Sun/Mon after the wedding had it canceled/no-show on them. This caused our guests who were local with their cars to have to taxi our guests to the airport. Have out-of-town guests rent a car, save yourselves the headache.

My husband found this venue and the pictures I don’t believe do it justice! Having the cottages very close to our venue was the icing on the cake as most of our wedding guests were coming from out of town. The venue was beautiful and it snowed all day. Jessica was very helpful leading up the wedding working with us on our quote and numbers as well as how we would like everything for the big day.There were a few things that were not ideal though, we had to continuously ask for the snow to be shoveled and stairs to the cottages cleaned off. It snowed probably 4 inches the day before and day of our wedding and with people moving around the area all day as well as our older guests it was a must! We also had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant, we let them know how many people, what time, and they suggested we make a small menu to bring food out fast, which we did and we ended up waiting 2.5 hours for everyone’s food. We also had issues with the neighbor behind the venue, he decided he was going to burn a huge pile of brush the morning of our wedding sending huge smoke plumes in the air. Our planner had to go speak with him because nobody at Bay Pointe would, he did but I don’t believe that should have been on our planner to do. Overall the food was good, the drinks were a bit weak, but Lane was there for anything we needed and the venue was beautiful and our guests had an amazing time. I would recommend Bay Pointe to anyone looking for a near all inclusive venue!

Madison and Mariesa made our day an absolute dream. We initially toured the venue in October of 2021 and were pleasantly surprised with the options available for catering and bar services. We knew that this was a popular venue when the entirety of 2022 was already booked- so we opted for an off season wedding date in November of 2022. Working with Madison leading up to the event was nothing but pleasant. Mariesa and Madison went out of their way to accommodate my family’s special dietary needs and requests. They were there to answer as many questions as I had and I never once felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Madison helped create a floor layout that made the most sense for us and it flowed very well throughout the evening. My only qualm in the planning process is there are some inconsistencies with policies they have and for as much money as you’re paying, I would have wanted more leniency with the venue. However I will say when I pointed out these inconsistencies, the BPI team was quick to rectify these issues and ultimately make us happy. On the weekend of the wedding, we rented several cottages for our family and bridal party to stay in. We ate Thanksgiving dinner at BPI along with some of our guests and the food was excellent. Our guests rented 12+ rooms at the hotel across the street. We were extremely happy with the proximity to the venue, the service of the hotel and the amenities. It made having our wedding day so much easier and stress free not having to think about transportation. The reception was an absolute joy and the day of coordinator Lane really made everything flow smoothly. He was available for questions, made sure the bridal party had drinks during dinner, and was overall so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. We go to weddings often and I will say BPI has excellent quality food that is flavorful and filling. We especially loved their carving station as it was a big hit at our wedding. Our guests had nothing but good things to say. Lastly; the drinks were also fantastic! The bartenders were professional and amazing.Overall if you’re looking for an all inclusive spot to host your wedding, this is it. You will be stress free with all of the help that’s provided, and get to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Gun Lake has to offer.

I'm shocked at the excellent reviews this venue has received. The MOG at this wedding is my sister, for reference.The cottages are nice, seem new. But there is NO CLOTHING STORAGE. Only one tiny coat closet with 4 hangers at the entrance of a 2BR/2BA cottage. No bedroom closets. No dressers. We lived out of our suitcases on the floor. The RD was at the Boathouse, which is basically an old 3-story house converted to an event space. The view to the lake was pretty, but the house is not well-kept. When one of our groomsmen held the handrail to walk up to the loft, the railing came off in his hand. The carpet on the second level leaves a lot to be desired and sorely needs updating. We used Bay Pointe Inn catering and bartending and were very disappointed in both. A bartender at the RD accidentally froze two bottles of white wine, then thawed them under the faucet and served them, instead of throwing them away. Once-frozen white wine tastes vile and should never have been served. We had our flowers for the event in the refrigerator, and the caterers changed the temp, which froze many of our flowers, destroying them.At the end of the evening, my sister paid the bartender (cash) for some bottles of wine to take back to the cottages. The next day, we were accused of stealing wine! Guessing the bartender didn't disclose our cash payment, so the venue thought we stole it. Rather than speak to us about it, the reception bartender, Michele, directly accused of us stealing wine. She made this accusation DURING THE WEDDING RECEPTION! In addition, she intentionally watered down drinks for the groomsmen, telling us they didn't need to be drinking anything straight. These men were all of appropriate age and were not causing any trouble. We realized the bar would be closed during dinner and that there was no wine service with dinner, so my sister went to the bar to get 4 glasses of wine for us to have with dinner. Michele told her she could only have 2 glasses. When my sister explained why she wanted 4, Michele then told her she would give her 3 glasses (?). Meanwhile, one of our friends walked to the cottage to bring 2 bottles of wine we had bought from the RD the night before. Michele came to our table to bring wine (I guess as a sort of apology?), then saw the bottles on the table and said, \"That's the wine you stole last night! Give those to me right now. I have to take them.\" Our friend immediately took the bottles back to the cottage as Michele continued her tirade. She even said, as she slammed glasses of wine on our table, \"I'm trying to be nice right now, but you people are making it really hard.\" At that point, the FOG got up to look for a manager. Michele said she was going to call the police. (Spoiler: police were not called. Michele was relieved as our bartender for the evening, and, as she was driving out of the parking lot, rolled down her window to yell at the FOG to \"have a great evening\")We were given no bread plates, despite bread being on the table. Utensils were cleared after dinner, and we were given none for dessert. Food was mediocre: dry chicken, rubbery salmon. I would have returned it had it been a regular restaurant meal.The continental breakfast at the Inn was sparse, although the waffles were delicious.I would never choose this venue for a vacation, let alone a wedding. It would be better for something like, say, a Rotary Club meeting.Out of space, but plenty more to say.

I will recommend this venue time and time again! I absolutely loved working with Ashley and Jessica leading up to the wedding and then having Lane there the day of! I got married and it rained all day but it was supposed to clear up around the time of the ceremony and Lane was confident it was going to but was ready to put it inside if needed!All of the guests loved their food and the experience! We had around 120 guests at their Bay Pointe Woods location and my bridal party stayed at the cottages on site. They loved it and keep talking to me about it! They were so nice to stay in! We were given a complimentary suite the night of our wedding with a customized wine bottle with chocolate covered strawberries and I thought that was really sweet of them!My vendors all raved about the place except for the HMU artists because there are not a lot of outlets for their curling irons so make sure to bring extension cords or power strips. BUT that is my only complaint!I loved it there and want to relive the day over and over!

My husband and I had our wedding here (10/22/2022) and it was the absolute perfect day! One of the managers (I think the owner) came himself to make sure set up went well, it ran smoothly, and to congratulate us! We had our ceremony on the Lakefront Lawn and the reception at the Lakeside Pavilion. It was absolutely breathtaking. We fell in love with it when we toured in January and everything was snowy and stored away. They gave us a complimentary suite for the night of! The food was amazing, both with the catering for the reception and in the restaurant. They gave us a day of coordinator that handled everything absolutely perfectly, neither myself or the groom had to lift a finger (thanks Jocelyn!!). They left wine with a customized label and strawberries for the wedding night, and breakfast is not your everyday continental. They had the best photo locations, and three venues to choose from, where you can take your pictures anywhere on the property during a certain time.However, there are a few rooms of improvement that I think would have made it easier.There was a severe lack of communication between event coordinators. We ended up working with five different people, and they would tell us different things which was really confusing. For example, we had told one coordinator we wanted all the rooms in our room block to be on the same floor and together, but when we were all checking in, it never happened. But the front desk still accommodated us to the best of their ability, and put the two groups together on two floors so we weren't all spread out.In booking a wedding, be aware of the $11,000 food and beverage REQUIRED MINIMUM cost. While it was easy to reach, neither of us remember being informed until after we had signed and put down a deposit. I think they all just assumed someone told us.It leads me to my other thing: the price. While I was not unhappy with it, it was a little over our budget. We were told that they work within our budget, and the initial numbers are subject to change, but I don't think either of us were fully prepared for how much it changed. I think they need to be a little more honest about all the fees and taxes and just be upfront with the couples.BUT I think it is important to note that you are paying for location at a three star hotel, so this is not an angry review. I mean, we got all the food covered, the beverages, the venue did complete set up and tear down, day of coordinator, our own event planner, THE LOCATION, room blocks, a complimentary suite, an hour rehearsal time. There was a wedding the day before, but I swear they had it all just for us!Looking at everything that would have been so expensive hiring out of the venue, we 110% got our money's worth. You get SO MUCH when you book a wedding here.With 5pm required ceremony time, golden hour pictures were TO DIE FOR!!!My husband and I have already talked about doing an anniversary party in a year at Bay Pointe, and we would come back to Ashley, Madison, and Jocelyn in a heartbeat. If we would do it all over again (knowing what we know), we would chose Bay Pointe again. I think a lot of the issues stemmed from a change in order of command, renovating, and some turnover, which caused a lot of disorganization and miscommunication. That's why I only took off one star, because these are all very easy, fixable things!Overall, I would tell anyone and everyone we meet to book and event, wedding or no, at Bay Pointe Inn.

We had the most incredible wedding weekend thanks to Bay Pointe! Our wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the BoatHouse Villa. It comfortably hosted 80 guests. The staff from start to finish made our weekend memorable and stress free. The food was delicious, so many of our guests commented on this! We also hosted a farewell brunch in the Waterfront room which has beautiful views. We cannot recommend Bay Pointe and their preferred vendors enough :)

I cannot say more good things about Bay Pointe Inn. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations. My husband and I looked at over 20 venues and this one was the best by far, we knew it was the one as soon as we pulled in. The venue absolutely speaks for itself and the staff were even better. They catered to all of my guests and many of my guests said that they have never been to a wedding with such amazing workers. I want to get married all over again just to experience one more day with them. They are truly amazing and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They coordinated with me the whole day to make sure everything was perfect and they succeeded. It was by far the best wedding I could have ever imagined, it was perfect. Love love LOVE them!! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely everything was PERFECT at our wedding. From the moment we booked Bay Pointe as our venue and through the entire year of planning they have made this process so easy. The coordinators do an amazing job with their responsiveness to emails, they always answered all my questions and were very nice and professional. I could not imagine ever having a better experience anywhere else. We got married at the lakefront pavilion and our guests could not stop talking about how it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. The food was great, my timeline was followed perfectly, the flowers and landscaping made for beautiful photos. I could go on and on!!! Our day was so perfect <3 THANK YOU BAY POINTE!!! <3 :)

We were beyond happy with our experience with Bay Pointe in general! We live 2.5 hours away and accidentally stubbles upon The Woods when we accidentally didn’t put a distance for our search. Nothing compared! Mariesa was an amazing sales rep. She answered all our questions and did an amazing job showing us the venue locations we checked out (ultimately falling in love with the woods). Juno, our event coordinator was awesome! She was always available for any questions. But honestly who made our experience was our Event Coordinator for the day because Juno was out of town. Lane was AMAZING! They not only were so nice and friendly. They checked in throughout the night but just enough. They were always around but never overbearing, and they saved the day when our cake vendor messed up and said we never discussed a cupcake tower and didn’t bring one. Lane walked across the street to the inn and found a cupcake tower for us when our baker just left without caring! Would recommend this venue to anyone. The only downfall is you DON’T have a place to get ready day of unless you rent the cottages for two nights. That was the only thing made unclear from the start! If you’re looking for a place that provides space to get ready because you don’t have someone to take the cottage off your hands the night of the wedding, this isn’t for you!

My husband and I recently were married on August 20th at Bay Pointe Lakefront Pavilion. Our ceremony was held on the lawn and our reception was held underneath the pavilion. From the moment we first toured the venue with Ashley Nadeau to having Juno Hickman as our event supervisor; there was constant communication, advice, and assistance provided to me and my husband. Juno was our main contact throughout the wedding planning process so I just want to give her a special shout out - my husband and I live 3 hours from the venue so planning a wedding long distance could have been a challenge but Juno did not skip a beat. She was always readily available and provided assistance very quickly. We can’t thank you enough, Juno!The venue was stunning from start to finish. The location is honestly incredible. The hotel rooms were super nice - especially the Bridal Suite. We picked the Tuscan Buffet and let me tell you, the food was amazing. The bar staff was top notch - especially Megan! She not only knew what my husband and I were drinking but she also knew what our parents and bridal party was having. My husband and I never went empty handed. I think I speak for my wedding guests when I say this - you helped make our night enjoyable so thank you, Megan! The morning after we woke up and we were just in AWE at how perfect our wedding day truly was. Our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about Bay Pointe. Highly recommend! You won't regret it!

The Wedding staff, coordinator, bar tenders, etc. We’re all fantastic!The only complaint is it seems like the Wedding venue and the resort front desk do not coordinate. We had multiple issues with front desk personnel when booking rooms for the wedding, as well as while we were staying with the front desk stating they didn’t have us booked for the honeymoon suite when we had it confirmed thru the coordinator. (Including a bottle of wine with our names on it once we finally convinced the front desk to let us in the room). Beyond that, absolutely wonderful! Gorgeous rehearsal, wedding and reception! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Bay Pointe Woods July of 2022! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We both have large families/extended family and wanted a place to comfortably fit a guest list of 200-220. The Woods venue was absolutely perfect! From the moment we met with Mariesa during our initial tour, we knew this place was for us due to how organized and professional everyone was. Bay Pointe staff organizes weddings all year round and are truly professionals when it comes to every last detail. Any question or concern I had leading up to wedding day was answered in 12 hrs or less. The staff are incredible to work with! One of my favorite parts of this venue is having everything in one place. We had our rehearsal dinner at the fireside room in the hotel, and the cottages and hotel were able to house our entire bridal party, plus ones, and majority of our family and friends. The only thing I wish we could’ve done is rented more of the cottages or hotel rooms, but there is a limited amount due to dividing the availability amongst the other 2 weddings that could be occurring at the other 2 venues on Bay Pointe’s property. They are currently in the works of building more cottages so this would open up a lot more room availability for future weddings. Last but not least, the food is absolutely INCREDIBLE here! We had duo plated meals for our reception dinner. Each plate had chicken and a filet included on it. I can’t tell you how many guests we had tell us that was one of the best filets they have ever had. Whenever you have to cook over 200 filets at once you don’t expect anything special, but these were all cooked to perfection!! They all cut like butter! My husband and I asked the staff if there was anyway they could box up our leftovers since we didn’t want to over stuff ourselves before we hit the dance floor. The staff saved us two unused meals and had them waiting for us in our complimentary wedding night suite in the hotel. I was so happy to have a fresh filet waiting in the room for us at 1am after our reception! Overall, we had such a wonderful experience! I would recommend Bay Pointe to anyone over and over again!!!

Bay Pointe is the best lake venue in the perfect spot in Michigan. My husband and I live in Chicago but my family lives in the Detroit area and this was the perfect in between point! Our wedding ended up being an entire weekend with renting out the boathouse, having our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the boathouse, and the lakefront ceremony and pavilion for our wedding! We also rented out two pontoon boats for the whole weekend for our guests and for us to use during cocktail hour- highly recommend! Everything went to plan the whole weekend and a big reason for that is Juno- she is AMAZING! Always quick to respond to our emails, phone calls, and met with us in person a few times. She is spectacular!!We also really enjoyed the bartenders both nights! They always made sure we were taken care of and had a great time with our guests!It rained later during our reception and we had our photo booth outside of the pavilion and Bay Pointe stepped up and provided two small tents so the photo booth wouldn't get wet- we appreciated that immensely! We highly recommend Bay Pointe Lakefront for anyone dreaming of a lakeside wedding!!!

My husband and I just got married earlier this month at the Bay Pointe Woods venue, and it was amazing! Every single person that we worked with at Bay Pointe was very knowledgeable, attentive, responsive, and so nice. (Especially Juno, she was a gem). The service from all of the staff during the rehearsal dinner and on the day of the wedding were so great, and they made sure that everything happened on time and the way it was supposed to! You do have to use their food/catering services for the meals, but it’s honestly nice having one less vendor to have to find and book separately, and their food is delicious - Lot’s of different options too! They have a complimentary wedding suite for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding in the hotel which is super nice and so thoughtful. My husband and I, and all of our friends and families, had so much fun at our wedding! The Woods venue is so beautiful, you don’t need hardly any decorations if you don’t want to, the lakefront venue is also beautiful from what I’ve seen - We definitely recommend booking with Bay Pointe! My husband and I got married at the Lakefront Pavilion and we are still in awe of how amazing our experience was. Aside from the location being incredibly beautiful, the staff were outstanding. I am not a planner and I'm pretty disorganized-- working with the people at Bay Pointe was the main reason that things went so smoothly for us. The staff made me feel at ease, even when I was pretty anxious. From the moment we walked in, I felt like I had a whole team supporting me and my husband. For example, I forgot to print photos of my late family members for our memorial table (20 mins before our ceremony)-- Juno and Jocelyn just handled it-- they printed and framed photos immediately. When a staff member noticed that I was anxious, they checked in with me and brought me my favorite drink without me having to ask. The food was delicious and the number of guests that described our wedding as 'the best wedding they've attended' is tremendous. Also, the bartender (Megan) memorized so many of my guests' drink orders so she would have them prepared as soon as they got to the bar. Also, our wedding party and family were treated with so much respect-- the staff at Bay Pointe not only made my husband and I feel like the most important people in the world -- but they made our people feel the same way. I could go on and on about how amazing our experience was and I cannot even think of one negative aspect of getting married at Bay Pointe.

Had my wedding at Bay Pointe Woods in June of 2022. It was a great experience and I would recommend the venue to anyone. The communication and responsiveness was great leading up to the wedding. Having the cottages for myself and my guests was so nice. The food was really great and the service was overall very very good. Some things I would recommend if choosing this venue is bringing in your own day of coordinator, and knowing that this is not a \"budget\" venue and costs add up quickly so be prepared to spend for this quality venue especially if you want any of the upgrades.

We had our daughters wedding reception at Bay Pointe Inn, The Woods, on April 29, 2022. Everything was perfect! The people that we worked with to plan and implement this event were top notch. They were easy to work with, open to suggestions, and very responsive to our texts and emails.We received many compliments on The Woods venue, food and friendly (abundant) staff. We would highly recommend having your wedding reception at Bay Pointe Inn.

We had our wedding at the Lakefront Pavilion here less than a month ago and it was spectacular. The entire process was incredibly smooth. We also had our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside Banquet room. There was constant communication and a plan laid out from the get-go. Jocelyn was amazing and answered all of my (and my officiant and mothers!) questions the day before and the day of. A lot of our other vendors were from their vendor list (since we live about 2 hours away) and they were all amazing as well! I would HIGHLY recommend Bay Pointe Inn.

We had a ton of people traveling from around Michigan and out of state so having everyone be able to stay at the Inn or the Cottages was amazing. 3 weeks later our guests are still talking about how now their stay was! The day of the wedding went by seamlessly and we didn't have to worry about a thing.

We were married 9/25/2021 on the Lakefront Lawn & Pavilion. It was a fabulous day. The setting was gorgeous and we were fortunate with the weather. We had a beautiful day that was incredibly photogenic. The food was excellent, the staff very accommodating, and our guests had a wonderful time. I worked primarily with Juno, who kept me on track and gathered all of the wedding information. I ended up hiring a day of wedding coordinator, and I'm glad I did that. BPI won't set up your items, meet vendors, or herd your wedding party to follow the timeline. I could have asked a family member to do it, but I'm glad I could lean on a coordinator so my family could relax and enjoy the night. BPI provided an event coordinator, Kortney, who I didn't end up interacting with much, but since the event went so smoothly, I'm guessing she was running the back of house well! I super appreciated that they had on-site catering and drinks -- one less thing for me to worry about! Keep in mind the hotel has multiple venues, so there aren't a ton of rooms available for your room block. The nearest hotels are ~15 minute drive away, and there isn't great Uber/Lyft coverage. I just let my guests drive (plenty of parking) to wherever they were staying and it worked out fine. There were enough rooms for my wedding party and close family!We also rented out the Fireside room the next morning for a brunch. Our guests appreciated the private buffet!It was definitely on the pricier side, but I feel like it was an incredible value for a full service venue. Just can't beat the location, and the entire staff delivered a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!

We first met with the catering sales manager Mariesa to go over pricing and to take a look at the venue. At the time we asked several questions that she was able to answer promptly. My fiancé (at the time) and I reviewed everything and decided this was the place we wanted to get married and celebrate.At the end of our first visit we decided to book both sections of the Bay Pointe Woods building and are very happy we did that. Afterward the initial booking, we met with Jessica who ended up being our go to person who offered invaluable assistance and guidance for the times I needed help making the necessary decisions before our special day. We were wed on a Sunday, so the only downfall to that was we couldn't get into the venue to set up until noon the day of and our ceremony was at 3:30! The venue is incredibly beautiful, so it needs minimal decorations. They also have some decorations you can use free of charge which is very nice, especially if you're on a budget. They comp you for your wedding night which was very nice. We did book the same room for the day before so that I would have a room to get ready in. The cottages are beyond beautiful as well. Overall, the whole team from Bay Pointe Inn were great, professional, and helped with anything that was needed. We would recommend this place to anyone getting married. We would love to return for future anniversary's as this was our best day ever and would love to relive those moments.

I cannot even begin to explain how happy we are that we had our wedding at Bay Pointe. Everything about the process from start to finish was an absolute breeze. Our primary contact was Juno throughout the planning process and she is one of the most responsive, professional, and helpful individuals I've ever worked with. We were in constant communication and there was never a doubt as far as what steps needed to be taken next.We booked our wedding this past December/January when there were still many COVID regulations in place so we decided to book the Lake Front Pavilion, knowing it would give us the greatest flexibility with whatever policies were in place. Everything turned out beautiful and the food was phenomenal. Our guests loved the venue so much, many have said they'd like to come back for their own personal vacation.You absolutely will not be disappointed if you have your wedding at Bay Pointe!

The staff at BayPointe were great from day 1 to wedding day. Coordinating the walk through when choosing a venue was a breeze. All pricing information was readily available from day one. Our sales coordinator was ON.THE.BALL. Jessica checked in periodically throughout our 14 month planning process. Payments were simple & well spaced to accommodate our budget. Our tasting was awesome. We were able to sample a variety of menu options in the restaurant which was closed to the public at the time. Our entire planning process was great. Every step of the way, we were treated like the only wedding going on. Even with there being multiple venues available on site. Jessica touched base as the wedding approached to ensure every detail was coordinated appropriately. Wedding day went insanely well. Jessica P did a fantastic job from start to finish. She was timely and personable for both rehearsal and wedding day. If anything went wrong with the wedding, I (the bride) had no idea & it was a stress free experience. Our wait staff day of did a fantastic job as well. Joselyn and Crystal were personable, patient & even helped during clean up. Our “sweetheart suite” came complimentary & it was an amazing room. Large, spacious & came equips with a bottle of wine with a personalized sticker, chocolate cover strawberries and a mini fridge stocked with water. BayPointe Inn and the staff, by far, exceeded our expectations. Our wedding at the Boathouse Villa was truly a dream from start to finish.

Specifically, we worked with catering managers Ashley, Jessica, and Juno and Day of Event Coordinator Jessica. All were so wonderful to work with. Jessica H was AMAZING as our day of coordinator. So well organized, friendly, and so much fun to work with. The pavilion venue site was set up so well and so many of our guests gushed over how beautiful the space was right by the lake. The food was all delicious and came out on time. We did a smores bar as the late night snack and our guests loved it. It was perfect!

If you are considering hosting your wedding at Bay Pointe Inn, DO IT! We mainly worked with Juno to plan our wedding and she was very organized and responsive. She reminded us of deadlines and details we needed to have. Additionally, we had Jessica for our venue coordinator the day of the wedding and she was AMAZING! She was so on top of it for the day of and kept us on time and organized. The staff here is simply the best. One of our favorite things we did was rented the pontoon boat for the day of and did our ceremony exit on the boat, which was a memory I will cherish forever. Juno was great in helping us reserve the rental. For future out of town brides like myself, one thing I would keep in mind is lodging is a bit limited here. Juno was great with letting me designate rooms to our bridal party, but be sure to book a block of rooms ASAP once you decide to have your wedding here. (We did the best western in Wayland).😊We loved hosting our wedding in the Lakefront Pavilion and wouldn’t change anything. THANK YOU for helping make our day everything we were hoping it would be!

My husband and I were married at Bay Pointe Inn in July. The staff was very helpful and responsive to all our requests. The venue was beautiful and I hardly needed any decorations. We rented the lakeside ceremony site, and the lakeside pavilion. I highly recommend both locations. The only problem we had were that our elderly guests did get a little overheated, so if you have a lot of elderly guests, I would recommend an indoor reception site. Otherwise, I had a great experience with the hotel and staff.

Bay Pointe Inn completed our wedding day in the most perfect way! They made the entire process from beginning to end stress free by emailing us with reminders, were thorough in asking us questions and requesting details so nothing was missed day of, and were readily accessible and quick to respond with any of our concerns. We got married at the Woods location and it was everything we wanted. The outdoor venue for the ceremony was stunning and big enough for our wedding of 200 people and they provided everything from unity table to the arbor and chairs and set things up in a timely manner the morning of. The reception space was beautiful and big enough to spread out some of our extra requests like a photo booth, band, large dessert table, etc. Bay Point was accommodating with all of our requests and the venue also included all the tables, chairs, linens, and tables for the guest book, desserts, and gifts so we didn’t need to seek out a third party vendor to rent. We loved that this space also came with cottages that our guests could rent that were not only spacious and modern but also so close to the festivities. The venue also provided a lot of great photo opportunities as well for our photographers which I’m sure they appreciated as well.One thing that Bay Pointe does require is that we use their chef but that was a huge blessing because the chef at Bay Pointe is AMAZING. We went with one of the themed buffets and had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had! Not to mention it saved us having to track down a vendor for food which made our wedding planning that much easier. In addition to all the accommodations that Bay Pointe already provides when you book a wedding with them, they went the extra mile to make things easier for us by letting us load in the band equipment a day early, store our decorations overnight, and allowed family to come tour the venue with short notice when in town prior to the wedding. We know this is probably a rare occurrence due to many events at the venue but it really made the day go smoother and we were so impressed that they were willing to work with us if possible. We would recommend this venue to anyone!! Jessica and Ashley (and our day of coordinator Shannon) made our experience and our day the best ever! Having our ceremony and reception in the same place was important to us and Bay Pointe Woods delivered in every possible way. Bay Pointe Inn will always hold a special place in our hearts.

For anyone looking for a dreamy venue that makes planning a wedding simple, Bay Pointe Woods is the answer! We received so many compliments at our wedding about how beautiful the venue was. Juno was SO helpful throughout the wedding process and answered every single question I had while providing reassurance and always going the extra mile to make sure our wedding day was perfect. They provided worksheets that made sure we had EXACTLY what we wanted for the day of our wedding, and even provided us with a day of coordinator. Every single person was so kind and friendly… We even asked a member of the wait staff to hang out with us after the wedding because she was so sweet. One of the best parts was having the cottages right next to the venue. Our entire bridal party stayed there, which made it so much more fun to have everyone stay in the same place. They offered so many personalized touches, and at the end of the night, we came back to our bridal suite with a bottle of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries. The staff at Bay Pointe makes you feel so special and loved. You will regret it if you don't book them!

Our wedding day was perfect! We are so happy we picked Bay Pointe Woods as our venue. We worked with Mariesa and Juno. They were both so great with communication and made it so easy when we had to postpone in 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic. They were very prompt in answering all our questions all the way up to the big day. They gave great recommendations and we felt really good the weeks leading up to our wedding. Everything about Bay Pointe was easy and stress free. We loved that everything was right there for us. No traveling needed. We got ready at the cottages, took pictures on the property, married at the ceremony space and dinner and dancing inside the ball room. Our day of coordinator, Vanessa, was also awesome! She was so easy to work with and did a great job of keeping us on schedule.I can go on and on about how much we loved our wedding. But the last thing I want to say is how good the food was. It's a hit or miss with big weddings sometimes, but all our food was perfectly cooked and was delicious! We can't thank everyone who was involved with planning enough, and I wouldn't change a thing. We would highly recommend Bay Pointe to anyone.

My wife and I had our wedding at BPI a week ago. We decided to arrive a few days earlier and tried to find time to relax ahead of the big day. Throughout all of the planning process, our wedding coordinator (Juno) was unbelievably accommodating and frequently put us and our needs first. To be honest, I don't think we could have done it without her! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We decided to stay at the Woods location, where our wedding party could stay on the premises in their cottages. It is an absolutely perfect setup! Our guests were happy, the site was gorgeous, but most importantly, it was an absolutely perfect day for our wedding! Overall, I am so happy to have found Bay Pointe. We will be able to reflect on the day and remember how perfect it was from start to finish. They really helped make us feel special!

So many of our friends and family loved our wedding, and the staff at Baypointe really made that happen. We didn't use a wedding planner, and I had no idea what I was doing, but Baypointe always checked in with the right questions at the right time to keep us on track with planning. Jessica responded to emails super quickly, and she was amazing to work with. The week or so before, she passed us off to the \"execution team,\" which included our day of coordinator. The food was great, and the view was gorgeous (we were at the lakeside pavilion). A bunch of us jumped in at the end of the night! We had an amazing weekend.

Planning a wedding across the country and during covid is not an easy task but Ashley and Jessica made it so easy and we’re quick to respond to any concerns I had! I can’t say enough great things about the planning process with these two ladies. They made everything so easy and stress free.We came to Bay Pointe for the woods venue but quickly fell in love with the lakefront pavilion.Our guests have commented days after the wedding how amazing the venue is and how they want to vacation there from now on. It’s a gorgeous venue and we were extremely lucky weather played in our favor that day. Our day of coordinator, Kortney was always available to help which made a stressful day not so stressful! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is we had a couple issues with food…. Our noodles tasted like noodles with water thrown on them. Guests the day of and since have reached out about them and they all have explained them as noodles with water which is what my husband and I said the day of. They had much better flavor during our tasting. Our other issue was our late night snack - the bugs enjoyed it before our guests really had a chance so my father in law had it sent back. Being an outside venue, we understand bugs are going to be around but a better plan to protect the food that sits out is needed!We had those issues but 100% would recommend Bay Pointe still as they are passing our concerns on to the appropriate individuals and hopefully making changes!

If you are juggling between 2 or more venues, your search is officially over. We've made the best decision on your behalf, book the Bay Pointe Inn. My wife and I got married here in June 2021 and it was an absolute dream, to say the least. If you can, book both the Pavilion and the Boat House to get the absolute best experience possible. Cocktail hour, rehearsal dinner, and general hanging out at the Boat House was epic. Dancing, dinner, and the wedding ceremony at the pavilion was so intimate and fun, we will remember this for a life time. The food was amazing, all of the servers/staff are professional and wonderful to work with. It is a beautiful venue with so many food options and accommodations. We recommend 10/10, you will not be disappointed - I know we, and all of our guests, were not!!

We got married at The Woods venue and it was an absolute dream. We worked with Mariesa and Juno. Their communication from the beginning was excellent, they answered all of our questions and always responded quickly to our emails. With the uncertainty of covid I was nervous proceeding with planning a wedding, however they were able to calm my nerves by being transparent about the new rules and what was changing. Every encounter we had we were treated with respect and were encouraged. When it came time to do the rehearsal our coordinator, Jessica, was fantastic. On our wedding day, everything was prepared and perfect. Jessica did such a great job at ensuring we were running on time and smoothly. On top of all of this, the venue is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding day was beyond perfect thanks to the staff at Bay Pointe.

Overall we had a wonderful experience working with Bay Pointe! We had our ceremony and reception at the Woods and would highly recommend it to other couples. Mariesa and Juno were great to work with during the planning process, even through the stressful COVID related regulation changes and Shannon did a fantastic job as our day-of coordinator, helping us make some last minute adjustments to accommodate weather. Our families and bridal party stayed at the Cottages which was very convenient and our bridal suite the night of the wedding was beautiful. We also loved the food (Prime Rib & Smothered Chicken) and the wait staff, and bartenders who were very attentive the whole night.Unfortunately we did have an issue with another guest being booked in our suite the night before the wedding, but the staff was gracious about it and sorted out the issue in the morning and comped the room for us. I would also caution future couples to pay attention to their resort fees and gratuity when building your budget. Those expenses add up quickly! With that said, we had a wonderful experience working with Bay Pointe. We plan to return for future anniversary celebrations and would absolutely recommend the Woods location to future couples!

I worked with Jessica Wilson and Ashley from the beginning. Jessica was simply amazing. She’s super kind, patient, responsive and answered all my questions about the wedding venue and the details that goes into planning our wedding. I loved how Bay Pointe Inn (BPI) was organized and that made all the difference in the world when it came to our wedding planning. My husband and I were blessed with a beautiful bright sunny day. Our ceremony was by the lakefront and we truly could not have asked for anything better. We got back to our room after the ceremony to find chocolate covered strawberries and wine and the sweetest card from Ashley and Jessica. Thank you for that!!However, the downside of the day was the food. 1. The food was poorly made and bland. It was not enjoyable. We also had three food items customized to Indian food and one of the customized dish was supposed to have no meat but it was prepared with meat. We were told that they did not have a recipe for it but it would been nice if I was asked about it instead of the guess work that went into making the dish. It was compensated by a meatless pasta dish from The Terrace Grill but it was a little too late as guests were almost done with dinner. The food was very disappointing. 2. The late night snack (jalapeño poppers) was placed on the wedding cake table and our guests had no idea that was even offered at the reception. Our family helping with packing and cleaning at the end of the night noticed it was on the table and it was untouched. That was a total waste of food and money.3. The final downside was our wedding cake was to be cut by the Bay Pointe staff and set it out for the guests but that remained untouched and the guests did not get a chance to eat the cake.Going forward my recommendation to BPI is that it’d be nice to have more attention go into making the food and handling wedding cakes.Despite the downsides, I’d recommend the venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful and a memorable wedding. Where do I even start? I fell in love with Bay Pointe Woods when it was just a computer-generated concept. It popped up on my Facebook page in 2018 and I was SET! Once Wade asked, I reached out scheduled a venue tour for June 2020. My dad, a bridesmaid, and I met with Mariesa C., the Catering Sales Manager - she was ever so pleasant! We toured, signed contracts and set a final date into place. We choose and were thankfully able to keep April 9th, 2021 as our date! This is where the ever so amazing, patient, and awesome Juno H. comes into play. She was our Catering Event Manager up until the rehearsal dinner. When I tell you I bombarded her email... I am not even playing around! Juno was SO responsive and truly made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She always reassured me and kept updating me frequently on guidelines and restriction changes. We were able to meet with her in November for a food tasting to select and finalize our meal for the day of! When I tell you she was a huge key player in making our day the best day ever, I truly mean that with my entire heart. The day of the rehearsal, Thursday April 8th - we met the lovely Shannon. Shannon made me feel so reassured - she knew what I was thinking without me even saying a thing! Our rehearsal went amazing, and she added in so many helpful tips and tricks to remember for the day of. Shannon let us run through as many times as we needed until we felt we had it down and were comfortable. I really cannot talk her up enough! Shannon and staff made our rehearsal go off without a hitch! The BBQ package we picked was a hit with everyone! They even let me add on two vegan plates for family that was unable to eat BBQ. Fast forward, to the best day ever!!! Shannon was there in the morning and through most of the day, and then we had Vanessa to lead our event. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN we met was AMAZING!!!!! I could say it until I am blue in the face. I felt so special, loved, & just so blessed to have such amazing staff to work with and help us! The package we picked for the day of included a DELICIOUS lunch that was delivered to our room with drinks & condiments. When it came down to game time and the ceremony the ladies were at the door of my cabin waiting to lead me to the venue with a fold out barrier to block me from being seen! Talk about thinking of everything!! Through all things thrown our way, we were able to have our day go off without a hitch. Tables were set with 6 instead of 10, dancing was outside (but you could not tell due to the heaters, we actually had them turn them off because it was so warm), and they even had catering staff serve at the buffet line! Every single person that attended had nothing but good things to say! From it being so personalized, to the staff being amazing, the food being out of this world, the lodging being more than what anyone imagined (both the Inn and Cabins at the Woods are STUNNING), plus SO much more - we received so many amazing compliments. We came back to our cabins to the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries & wine, with the sweetest card from Juno and Mariesa – as well as returning home to an email from them checking on the day! Thank you again to staff for all of the help and guidance! RUN do not walk to book BPW!! I hope this helps other brides & grooms thinking of booking here – they have everything even to accommodate a crazy pandemic! Thank you to Bay Pointe for being such a huge part in our BEST DAY EVER!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Bay Pointe Woods on 5/1/2021 and it was absolutely amazing. We were originally planning on getting married in addition to having our reception at the location last year, but COVID had other plans. :) Mariesa and Juno were AWESOME to work with and extremely accommodating throughout the entire process which made it so much less stressful. They truly have everything covered for you. My day of coordinator that Bay Pointe provided for us was FANTASTIC and helped put out so many fires the morning of the reception (after planning for 2 years you would think we had everything covered.. but nope!). The food was also absolutely amazing. I've never once heard people comment about food before at a wedding and we had several people say it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. Service, food, atmosphere, ascetics, everything at this place is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone! (Also, rent the cottages. Sure, they may be a pricey up-front cost, but they're SO convenient and so worth it. You/your guests will say they wished they rented them the day of the wedding if they don't! :) )

I cannot recommend the Bay Pointe Woods ENOUGH!! I had the best experience as a bride there this past weekend and it turned out so beautiful. The food was great, and the staff was SUPER helpful! We had our ceremony outside and reception inside and it was breathtaking!

We cannot say enough about the properties at Bay Pointe Inn and their staff! We were originally booked for the Woods property (Stunning!), but due to Covid we had to move our wedding ceremony/reception to be 100% outside. My husband and I were able to move our ceremony and reception to the Lake Front Pavilion and WOW!!!!! We could not have asked for better views, food, drinks, and atmosphere!! We continue to receive endless compliments from our guests about the property, food, and staff!! The Lake Front Pavilion is GORGEOUS. The food was absolutely delicious and served hot!! They have a variety of appetizers, entrées, and desserts to choose from, in addition to great package options!! The staff was professional, kind, and extremely attentive!! Jessica was our catering sales coordinator and she was amazing to work with!! Planning a wedding during the Covid pandemic was challenging but Jessica was so helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the planning process!! We are from the east side of the state so all of our guests needed lodging. This was the most stressful part as we wanted everyone to stay on-site. We rented the Boathouse for the weekend which was AMAZING! This gave us more lodging options and a home base for the bridal party. We held our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse and got ready at the Boathouse. Again, stunning views/property, delicious food, and fantastic staff/service!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND all of Bay Pointe Inn's venues!!!

Bay Pointe was fantastic in working with us through our planning process during these ever-changing times. Mariesa and Juno were so friendly and understanding when we were constantly changing our plans from a large wedding of 150 all the way down to the final product of 25. Due to COVID we had to hold our wedding outdoors instead of inside the Woods area. They were so accommodating as we made last-minute changes right up until walking down the aisle. Having our ceremony outside of the Boathouse on the patio was magical in the winter twilight hours with our lighted trees and sparklers. If you are looking for a venue that will be with you and help you through the entire process of planning, this is your place. We also stayed at the Boathouse for the wedding weekend, which made everything so much easier being right on site, and the house is amazing! We can't thank Bay Pointe enough for all of their hard work and attentiveness to our wedding!
