Bay View Weddings at Gallagher Farms is a stunning wedding venue that welcomes you to celebrate any and all of your wedding-related events. Sitting on a 400-acre cherry farm, this expansive property boasts breathtaking scenery and lush surroundings that are sure to inspire on your big day. Overlooking Grand Traverse Bay and Leelanau County, the views from this location make for a picture-perfect celebration. You can enjoy the numerous outdoor event areas on your milestone day. These include the colorful orchards, tranquil pond, and sprawling grasslands that you can make your own. From a photoshoot embracing natural beauty to a cocktail reception under romantic lighting, and a reception spent dancing in the marquee, the day can be tailored to you. You will have access to the venue in plenty of time to set it up however is right for your celebration. The spacious venue welcomes everything from intimate gatherings to parties of up to 300 guests. We cannot recommend this venue enough. From the very start, Rose (the day of coordinator) was a joy to work with. She is professional, responsive, helpful, organized and wants the best for her couples. She has her couples best interest at heart and wants to make sure that the day is perfect. Rose was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, helping to provide answers to ongoing questions, recommend vendors etc. On the day of, Rose made sure everything was organized and executed to a T. There was not one single thing that went wrong. Not to mention how breathtakingly beautiful the venue is. We received so many compliments based on our timeline, the venue itself and how pleasant Rose was to work with. We cannot recommend Bayview enough!!!

We cannot recommend this venue enough. From the very start, Rose (the day of coordinator) was a joy to work with. She is professional, responsive, helpful, organized and wants the best for her couples. She has her couples best interest at heart and wants to make sure that the day is perfect. Rose was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, helping to provide answers to ongoing questions, recommend vendors etc. On the day of, Rose made sure everything was organized and executed to a T. There was not one single thing that went wrong. Not to mention how breathtakingly beautiful the venue is. We received so many compliments based on our timeline, the venue itself and how pleasant Rose was to work with. We cannot recommend Bayview enough!!!

We highly recommend having your wedding at Bay View Weddings! The venue is gorgeous, and we truly don’t think there is anything like it in the Northern Michigan area. Our wedding was the best and most beautiful day of our lives! From the very beginning, Rose was a joy to work with. She is so professional, responsive, easy to communicate with and VERY good at her job. The month of our wedding, Rose held a few extra calls with us to run through details and make sure we felt comfortable leading up to the big day. During a stressful time, we cannot thank her enough for calming our nerves. On the day of our wedding, Rose and her staff made sure everything was perfect. The entire day was a dream come true! Several bridal party members (even the groomsmen) noticed and told us how great Rose was, how she was communicating with our bridal party, family, vendors and overall making sure the day ran smoothly and we had everything we needed. My father is handicapped and one thing that was important to me was making sure he could walk me down the aisle. Unlike other venues with uneven grass, the cement pad on The Overlook worked perfectly to roll his walker down. Rose was very accommodating and made sure he (and my family) had everything they needed to get around the venue. This meant so much to us. He felt included and didn't miss a beat. Rose makes you feel at ease during a stressful and exciting time. We are SO happy to have chosen Bay View Weddings as our wedding venue and to have worked with Rose!

As we celebrated our one year anniversary (7.29), we spent time reminiscing and thinking back on just how perfect the day was, and so much of it was because of Rose and the team at Bay View Weddings. When deciding on a venue, we had two places narrowed down, and the deciding factor was because of the initial conversation with Rose. She was detailed, kind, personable, accommodating, and the list of wonderful adjectives could go on and on. We traveled from Iowa, so much of the planning and preparation was through email and phone calls. She gave suggestions for preferred vendors -- all of which were terrific to work with as well! Rose not only worked with us, but with our other vendors to ensure every aspect of preparation was taken into consideration. Every single detail was communicated, planned, and executed. From the first interaction with Rose to the day of the wedding, Rose made us feel at ease. She checked in to make sure we were ready, sticking to the timeline, and happy with the day. (She also took charge at the rehearsal the night before and ran through the ceremony in detail.) The day of the wedding, she was just as detailed the entire day and great with the flower girl and ring bearer. The advice we kept hearing from friends and family was to take it all in and enjoy it. With all of the planning, and sticking to a schedule, we were wondering how that could be possible. However, Rose and her team made it so we really could soak in the moments, the views, and take time to ourselves. The venue speaks for itself. We initially came in February to check out Bay View at Gallagher Farms and it was beautiful then, but the view of the bay in the summertime is even more stunning and the perfect backdrop. (And there are plenty of other gorgeous backdrops on the property too!) The getting-ready spaces for both the guys and the gals were perfect. The guys had fun at the cabin—especially my brother who was pumped to catch a fish. The barn for the ladies surrounded by cherry trees was beautiful for photos. The entire property is incredible. We can't recommend Rose and Bay View at Gallagher Farms enough!

Having our wedding at Bay View Wedding Venue was absolutely a dream come true! From the moment that my future husband and I saw the property, we immediately knew this was the place that we wanted to get married. The grounds have impressive views of West Bay, as well as a landscape to take some amazing wedding photos. I can’t imagine a more perfect venue in the Traverse City area! Working alongside Rose Gallagher was a seamless and wonderful process! She listened to all our needs and generously offered ample amount of help throughout the entire wedding planning process. Rose was attentive and candidly went above and beyond her responsibilities to make us feel at ease. This was very important to us, as wedding planning can be a very stressful event! Bay View was truly the PERFECT venue for our wedding. We first saw the property in the middle of winter covered in two feet of snow and knew it was exactly what we were looking for. The views are absolutely stunning - the initial drive in thru the orchard, the panoramic views from the overlook ceremony location, cocktail hour among the vines overlooking the bay, and inside the reception tent with the insanely beautiful backdrop. It all felt like a dream and our guests were truly in awe of the beauty. Rose is also such a genuine, kind and amazing person & an absolute dream to work with. We reached during a very last minute trip over the holidays to schedule a tour and she was able to get us in right away (and had the driveway/road in plowed). She was super communicative from booking to our actual wedding (1.5+ years) and such a joy to work with the entire time. We truly cannot say enough good things about the Bay View property & Rose and her team. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect.

Rose exudes warmth, kindness, and an overall welcoming demeanor. Every interaction we had was positive and approachable. Rose and her employees were genuinely happy for us and went out of their way to ensure we had a stress free and perfect day. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and the touches between the bathrooms, lights, fire pits, transportation, and view only enhanced our experience. My husband and his groomsmen enjoyed the cabin for their pre-wedding preparation. The barn gave us the perfect opportunity to have our first look within the rows of trees and take family photos prior to the ceremony. We would recommend Rose and this location to anyone wanting a northern Michigan wedding as we still dream about ours and can not wait to visit again one day soon to reminisce on our day.

From the moment we toured the venue even to this day, Rose has been an absolute joy to work with. We were married at Bay View Weddings on a perfect summer day this past August and it was more than we could have ever dreamed. The team at Bay View worked tirelessly to decorate and set up the venue in our exact vision--and then tear it all down and pack it all up neatly at the end of the night, we didn't have to lift a finger. My husband and I were at a loss for words (and even breath) when we walked into the tent for the first time on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Bay View Weddings (and Rose! and team) enough. They truly felt like family. I'd also recommend having your rehearsal dinner on the property as well, our family and friends rave about the entire wedding weekend and that's all thanks to Bay View Weddings. Thank you so much!

Words cannot put into words the feelings we have from our entire wedding weekend. My husband and I were honored to call Bay View our wedding venue in May 2022. Being a couple from out of state, working with a venue and a team who we could not only count on, but trusted and enjoyed was critical. We got that and more from Rose and the Bay View venue! The stunning views speak for themselves and our guests continue to tell us what a perfect setting the whole property was. Aside from the nature, the tented space, bar, lighting and additional pieces were all fantastic. Throughout our planning process, Rose continued to find ways to elevate the venue and ensure the experience was perfect. When it came time to finding a rehearsal dinner venue, we ended up choosing to do it on site in the orchard because everything just felt so seamless here. Rose was quick to answer questions, provide support and did so much above and beyond on our wedding day and leading up to it. She even jumped in and got a little red wine out of my dress- an MVP to say the least! We will continue to recommend Bay View to anyone we can. Weddings can naturally be stressful and require so many details- we feel lucky to have gotten to work with this venue and these people who made us feel so comfortable and confident every step of the way. It allowed us to truly be present and celebrate together and with our loved ones. Rose and her team were generous, hospitable and kind. Choose Bay View!

She even jumped in and got a little red wine out of my dress- an MVP to say the least! We will continue to recommend Bay View to anyone we can. Weddings can naturally be stressful and require so many details- we feel lucky to have gotten to work with this venue and these people who made us feel so comfortable and confident every step of the way. It allowed us to truly be present and celebrate together and with our loved ones. Rose and her team were generous, hospitable and kind. Choose Bay View!

BOOK NOW!! I don't even know where to start. The place speaks for itself. Gorgeous. We just had our wedding here a couple weeks ago and it was the best decision we made during the whole process. But the cherry on top of this amazing venue, is Rose. She was the ultimate MVP the day of the wedding. Besides the fact that she is the sweetest human being you will ever meet, and she kindly addressed my million questions leading up to the day, she went above and beyond her duties of a day of coordinator. Flowers on the flower arch at the ceremony kept twisting out of place due to the wind; who kept trying to fix it? Rose. The catering staff we hired was lacking in many ways; who stepped up and dismissed tables and cleared plates and cut up our extra wedding cake? Rose. Who picked up our late night snack for our guests and ran other small errands throughout the night? ROSE!! This woman deserves an award. When any hiccup came along during the day she dealt with it so we could enjoy the day. I can't recommend this venue enough!!!!!

Had our wedding here on 5/29. Absolutely the best wedding venue in the midwest. Incredible views, incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating staff. Especially Rose, that woman is so good at what she does. Able to accommodate all of our crazy requests and was happy to help us create our vision. The vibes of the evening were one-of-a-kind. I will say it takes more planning to have a wedding here, since you have to bring in all your own vendors (alcohol, catering, bartending, etc.). But 100% worth it in the end if you have the time. If you are able to book a date here, do not hesitate.

We knew the moment we got there that it was the one. Nothing was going to beat it. We were able to bring our vision to life. The food, the decorations, the band, the guests, the photographers, the drinks. Everything was up to us. And it was perfect. Our day was absolutely perfect. We can not thank Rose and the Gallagher family enough for opening up their family farm & property to share with everyone. 10/10 can not recommend this venue enough.

After looking into a few venues one stood out as our clear favorite. Bay View Weddings.From our very first visit to the property we knew it would be an unforgettable day. The view: Wow! What better way to express our boundless love than through nature’s breathtaking grandeur? The entire farm was lovely with many ceremony location options and photo opportunities. We got shots in the apple orchards, the rustic barn, a small pondside cabin, and of course, West Bay. They even let us take engagement photos in the cherry blossoms!Rose, our wedding coordinator, was spectacular throughout the entire process. She was prompt, helpful, and passionate. All the planning and coordination was taken care of, and Rose had all the contingencies covered to ensure our day was perfect. The venue had good relationships with local vendors, which made it easy as well.Our ceremony at the Bay View Hill Top transitioned to a wonderful cocktail hour with yard games and bistro lights. The circular bar was a huge hit!Even though most of our guests were from Michigan, it felt like a destination wedding because of Traverse City’s beauty and endless recreational offerings. Each person who stepped foot on the Overlook agreed it was an unparalleled panorama. Seriously, the #1 thing we heard from people was how gorgeous the setting for our day was. We could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony and reception, and we have Bay View Weddings at Gallagher Farms to thank for that!

Our wedding at Bay View Weddings was an experience we will always treasure. My then fiance and I first saw this venue in early summer 2019. Rose, one of the owners of the property and our Day Of Coordinator, gave us a tour of the property and even though it was overcast and raining the first time we visited, we both knew immediately that we had found a very special place to get married. To us, the Bay View Wedding venue is quintessential Northern Michigan beauty at its finest! Rolling hills, stunning Bay views, a lovely cherry orchard, and a beautiful barn for our wedding party to \"hide out in\" taking pictures while our guests arrived to the hilltop ceremony site are just a few of this venue's assets that helped make our wedding day truly unforgettable. This venue is unique in that Rose allows you a lot of freedom in choosing your own vendors and set up design. We really enjoyed that flexibility to customize our day as that was not always the case when we visited other venues. It was easy and a pleasure to work with Rose in pre-planning meetings as she is responsive, flexible and always happy to help! Her staff set up our decorations for us at no extra charge and helped make sure all the other vendors were operating smoothly throughout the wedding day. Our original wedding date was set for 2020 but we felt the need to postpone until 2021. Rose was extremely supportive throughout that process and we were so grateful for that! Overall, the venue is one-of-a-kind beautiful, Rose and her staff were incredible helpful and diligent, and this venue allows you to customize your wedding day to shape it into YOUR perfect day! AMAZING!!!! I found this venue on the knot over 1 year ago during the pandemic with very little reviews and photos. I made a weekend trip to visit 12 venues in 3 days of northern MI. This venue was my LAST stop because based on the little reviews and photos I did not have high expectations. THIS VENUE IS GORGEOUS. I looked at all the well known wineries and very expensive wedding venues in the TC area. I can promise you this venue is more beautiful than any of the rest. The views are stunning. I was shocked they didn't have more information online until I learned they just opened as a wedding venue one year prior. Rose Gallagher was AMAZING. She was prompt in answering my many questions throughout the year and is very kind. She allowed me to store my wedding decor days prior to the wedding. She set up and decorated all of my decor and signs, which was a ton of work at no extra charge. She acted as my day of coordinator. This venue does take more work since you need to bring all of your own vendors in (caterer, linens, etc), which is to be expected for any outdoor tent venue. We were very blessed to have the perfect weather and all of our guests were blown away by the spectacular views. This venue is truly a hidden gem. I will say that you need to be prepared to do a lot of extra work throughout the year planning for any outdoor tent wedding anywhere, but if all the stars align it will be the best wedding anyone has ever been too (or if you can afford a wedding planner).
