The entire team at the Madison Beach Hotel was AMAZING. Lisa, Meredith, Amanda and Heather helped make our dreams come true from day one. The facilities are top notch, the hotel is beautiful and the entire staff works so hard to make your big day so special. I could not recommend this venue enough. The food was delicious and the packages are crafted to meet your every wedding need. We even lucked out with having fireworks that were postponed fromThe 4th of July. I recently went to dinner at The Wharf months after our wedding and the staff remembered me. The Madison Beach Hotel will always hold the most special place in our hearts. I wish I could re-live our wedding every single day thanks to the tireless work from the team at the MBH.

Our wedding experience with the Madison Beach Hotel was exceptional. The venue was perfect for our wedding of 50 guests. We had a beautiful ceremony on the beach and reception on the second floor with gorgeous views of the sunset. The staff made the process easy and we didn’t worry about anything of the day of the event because we had confidence in all of them. We did not need to hire a wedding planner as the Madison Beach Hotel was so helpful in preparation and day-of needs. Our guests all raved about the food, especially the hors d’oeuvres, and the beauty of the venue. The day at the Madison Beach Hotel surpassed my expectations.

Choosing the Madison Beach Hotel for our wedding was the best decision we made. The service was immaculate from our first tour. We had multiple people available to answer any question we had the year leading up to the wedding. The day of coordinator was fantastic for our rehearsal and smoothing out every detail the day of. She also was amazing with the timeline and flow of the day. Every guest said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to and how beautiful the venue was. I will also note that the food was outstanding and every guest commented on it. It was hard to choose a menu because there were so many great options. Thank you MBH for creating our dream wedding!

Our wedding at Madison Beach Hotel on 8/26/23 was truly a fairy tale come to life. MBH was our first choice of venue for our summer wedding because of the beautiful setting with incredible oceanside views. We cannot speak highly enough of Lisa, who took us on the venue tour the same day we called; Amanda, who made the entire planning process as smooth and stress-free as possible; and Heather, who worked her tail off the day of the wedding to make sure everything was executed flawlessly so that my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves! In terms of special requests, there is not much the team at MBH can't or isn't willing to accommodate, but this can come at a steep price, so just be prepared for that. We had perfect weather on our wedding day, and everyone commented on how good the food and drinks were and how pretty the venue is. It was all we could ever dream of and more, and we wish we could do it all over again!

My husband and I just happened to walk into the Madison Beach Hotel on a 70 degree day in November after going to multiple other wedding venues. We were about to quietly peruse the property when we bumped into Lisa. She took the time to give us a full tour, answer all of our questions, and gave us pamphlets with more details and available dates. She said it herself…it was kismet! From that point on we were in great hands. After securing a date, we worked with Amanda. She made the process incredibly smooth, answering all of our questions in a timely manner. On the day of our wedding, Heather did an outstanding job. She kept us on time, made sure we ate, and more importantly, made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. The day was truly extraordinary. The food was incredible and the ceremony and reception were beautiful. Every interaction we had with a staff member was pleasant. We also had a brunch the day after the wedding to top off the incredible weekend. Once again, phenomenal food and presentation. My husband and I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else. We are so thankful we stopped by that fateful November day!

Madison Beach Hotel is the most amazing place to get married -- my husband and I were married there on June 17, 2023 and it was the perfect day. We booked the venue about two years before our wedding and the whole planning process was a great experience. Amanda and Lisa answered all of my emails, usually right away, and never let me worry about anything. The team at MBH is always transparent about what they can or can't do (there isn't much they can't do) and we never felt stressed about our finances or meeting deadlines, which can absolutely be the hardest part of wedding planning. Other than the ease of planning and the amazing communication, MBH's venue itself is gorgeous. The ballroom perfectly fit our large family, the outdoor ceremony's backdrop can't be beat, and the small details all around the hotel made for the perfect summer wedding. Our family and friends did not stop talking about the meals, either. The food came out immediately, the portions were huge, and it was hands down one of the best meals we've ever had. They also had amazing staff members who tended to my husband and I all night, allowing us to have time to eat and drink which was SO helpful! I could go on and on about just how perfect this venue us but just trust us, you will not regret having your wedding here.

We just wrapped up our wedding weekend at the Madison Beach Hotel and it couldn’t have been any better. From the day we met Lisa for the tour on a cold January day to working with Amanda on the details and then meeting Heather for the final walk through. Everything was amazing. Their professionalism and heathers attention to detail made for the best day ever. The weather was a 10 out of 10. Heathers day of event execution made it clear that she is the best in the business. She made sure we had everything we need through out the day from getting ready in the suites to making sure everything was good during the reception. The food was excellent and tasted amazing. We woke up the next day saying “how did everything go just right and as planned” not a single complaint. Amazing venue, amazing team. Thank you for making our summer wedding come true. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical wedding year. If you want something special for your wedding day, the MBH is where you need to host your wedding. My husband and I were treated like king and queen from the very first venue tour to currently where we feel like part of the MBH family even after our wedding day. The customer service at this venue is truly above and beyond (think Disney world quality) which sets this venue apart from the rest 100%. Our guests cannot get over how perfect our wedding day was. Your included wedding planning professionals - Lisa, Heather and Amanda will make every moment a breeze and fun. They are so SO good at what they do. The food… GREAT, the drinks… STRONG, the wedding flow… PERFECT (because of Heather- I’m convinced she even made the rain stop right before our ceremony began), the atmosphere… obviously, you can’t get anything prettier than this in CT. We did some things differently but you listened to exactly what we wanted and it really was the best day/night ever. Everyone at the hotel was so amazing to us and every guest keeps raving about the location, food, and staff. From the valet being the best ever, to the bartenders being so happy and helpful, I could go on and on. The team took extra care of us and it was so comforting to have someone close by. I really didn’t think some of the details would matter but every little thing you all did made it amazing. I would turn around and someone was there if I needed something. The place looked amazing and so special. It’s didn’t feel like a typical venue and was so special. We will definitely be back for anniversaries.

We wholeheartedly recommend the Madison Beach Hotel in Madison, CT. My husband and I have been parents of the bride 3 times before and, while we have had fairly good experiences in the past, no other venue measures up to the Madison Beach Hotel. And I mean in every way! From the early planning phase and expert advice from Amanda Toner and Lisa Freund over the last few months to the actual event in early October, with Heather showing us the way – all was extremely professional. Heather was at our elbows for the rehearsal and during the entire evening of the actual wedding showing us where to be, when to move, and granted every wish and need we had through the event. The wedding ceremony, the glorious setting, and the wonderful dinner afterwards were all perfect. We had family members attending from all over the country who, to a person, said how helpful the hotel staff was for the whole event, as well as during their room stays and meals at the hotel. Most of these people are world travelers with extensive experience abroad, so their comments meant a lot. The venue itself is lovely and peaceful, with every room looking upon the sea. Most of our guests mentioned that they’d had their best sleep in months in their individual rooms. My husband and I are local and occasionally have dinner at the restaurant so we knew the venue and setting on the shore would be spectacular; however, we have never had the occasion to stay overnight before this week. We were a bit worried about how our 18-month-old granddaughter was going to deal with sleeping in a strange room with us, but everyone was so kind and helpful that we really enjoyed our time. In the future when we have guests that we can't fully accommodate in our home, we will place them at Madison Beach Hotel. As stunning as the venue is, it is the staff that really made this entire wedding a success for everybody. They were all fantastic!!

To start off I want to note that my partner and I are an LGBT couple, and often times felt a bit uncomfortable when searching for venue's. From the moment we first toured the Madison with Amanda, we immediately felt a sense of comfort, and it was the most enjoyable venue tour by far. My wife and I truly fell in love with the space. It was the perfect size for our wedding of 110 guests, the views were stunning, and the attention to detail given by the staff was unmatched. Along with Amanda, we worked with Nicole and Lisa for so many tiny details and big moments of the day. I cannot rave about them all enough! They were so attentive, professional, kind, and most of all FUN to work with!Out guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the room was, how amazing the food was (seriously....SUCH good food), and just generally how the evening flowed with such ease. I would book this venue a hundred times over. It was so unbelievably perfect!

The Madison Beach Hotel is absolutely beautiful. I had my wedding there on 4/29/2022. Nicole who was the wedding coordinator did such an amazing job. Her patience and hard work did not go unnoticed. I was very excited to have my wedding at the Madison Beach Hotel, but unfortunately it was not how I hoped it would be. First of all the biggest mistake was to hire a dj recommended by the hotel. J &S entertainment was the worst dj I have ever seen. He was racist, rude and completely disregarded everything I asked him to do. He messed up the music that my bridal party was introduced to, he did not play what was on my wishlist. He began to play Mexican music which was not requested, not on my list not even the same genre that was requested. He assumed because there were Hispanics and minorities in the room that is what we wanted to hear. The food was delicious, but when it came down to the cake the staff sliced very thin pieces, and not all of my tables received cake. At the end the cake was not wrapped up for us to take home. My husband had a grooms cake, that was not given out as well. The staff must have split the cake and taken it home, bc I had less than 80 guests, and it was a 3 tier cake. Not even a full tier was given out to my guests. I was also informed that the open bar was serving hot beer, and did not provide a lot of drinks which was supposed to be included in the “premium open bar”. If a service is paid for all I asked was that it would be provided. I spoke to Amanda who is a wedding specialist and I raised these concerns I was told I would receive a follow up and nothing. I am just very disappointed, if you decide to have your wedding at the Madison Beach Hotel please be mindful to check out all the details being that this is a very special day, and also stressful. You should be able to enjoy your day without having to stress these details. Very disappointed about my wedding cake, the hotel sent my husband and I and small 8inch strawberry short cake I guess to replace the grooms cake that was never given out or to us to bring home, but the cake we purchased for him was a tribute to his military career. They also did not send my wedding cake. Once again be mindful before you choose this venue, customer service should be the main priority.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with the Madison Beach Hotel. We had to move our wedding twice due to COVID and everything was changed over seamlessly and easily. I cannot say enough good things about the Madison Beach Hotel and their entire team. From all of the planning before-hand with Amanda, to the entire day of coordination process with Nicole and her team, the day couldn't have gone more flawlessly. The day of our wedding it ended up raining (like heavy rain the whole day kind of rain), but Nicole was constantly checking in with me to figure out contingency plans and was willing to do whatever we asked. We originally had planned on a ceremony on the beach, but with the weather, Nicole suggested doing it on the balcony outside of the ballroom, as we only had about 20 guests, and it ended up being everything we could have ever asked for! MBH stands out because of the many ways you are able to customize your wedding day. Our wedding day was met with challenges and stressful moments as a medical emergency occurred with a member of our bridal party just hours before our ceremony was set to begin. Nicole, their AMAZING day of coordinator, handled the situation with professionalism and compassion. She swiftly changed the order of events and re-organized her staff so that our wedding day continued without pause. This is going to be a long review, but I hope it helps other people make their decision to have a wedding at the Madison Beach Hotel!Before I say anything else, my husband and I have to note that the true MVP of our wedding and one of the biggest reasons to have your wedding here is because of Nicole. She is the banquet manager, but this title doesn’t do her justice because she is a guardian angel. Nicole handled absolutely everything and after we had our final meeting with her, any nerves we had immediately went away. She is honest, flexible, kind, caring, and will do anything to make your day special. If we needed food or a drink, Nicole appeared in seconds to help us out. When my bridesmaid could not figure out how to bustle my dress, Nicole was there to the rescue. She made our day so outstanding!One thing that also particularly stands out about this venue is how genuinely nice every single staff member is. From the valets, to the servers and catering director, to the front desk staff, everyone was so accommodating and lovely. Being a bride that didn’t want a “traditional” wedding, the staff at MBH did everything they could to make my dreams come true. I didn’t want a sit down dinner or a cake, and they were willing to make anything happen. Food and drink were of high priority to us and we were not disappointed. Our friends said that the food at this wedding was outstanding. We had both steak and stuffed sole and they were so delicious. The appetizers were so tasty that our guests were following the waiters looking for more helpings. We did have a cake for cutting, but we went with a dessert table for our guests with mini desserts and it was such a hit. It was truly the most dessert I’ve seen guests eat at a wedding. There wasn’t much need for decorations because the beauty of the venue and the view speaks for itself. Inez set up all of our decorations beautifully and we were extremely impressed!I knew I wanted to get married by the water, but not in the sand, and the lawn was the perfect place to do that. It is picture perfect!We wanted to give a final shout out to Amanda, the wedding coordinator, who helped us plan every detail. She is so knowledgeable at weddings and we knew we were in great hands! We are hopeful we can attend a wedding here one day because we want to be able to experience it from a guest’s point of view. Our guests said this was one of the best weddings and venues they have ever attended! Thank you MBH!!!

My husband and I are still on cloud nine following this weekend, and so blown away by the magical Madison Beach Hotel. From getting engaged at MBH this past June, to coming back for an intimate wedding with our immediate loved ones--the hotel is a beautiful oasis to escape from the trying times of 2020. Our family members were so in awe of the amazing night, and had such a fun time. The beautiful views and aesthetics were an amazing backdrop as we ate, drank, and celebrated the night away! From the bottom of our hearts we thank Nicole, Amanda, and the rest of MBH team for exceeding our greatest dreams to make our day so special. Their flexibility, enthusiasm, and unwavering support to meet us where we were at with our wedding plans, truly means a lot. Our vendors also loved working with the MBH team. Throughout this process they allowed us to be vulnerable, ask questions, and address real concerns in regards to planning a wedding during a pandemic. We originally had our wedding scheduled as a Christmas wedding in December. As cases started to increase again--we called Amanda and Nicole and asked if the wedding can be pushed up. They quickly responded and were so accommodating! They helped us crazy kids get everything together in ONE week to have a our wedding! The stars truly aligned for us to have our wedding day this past weekend. We were able to enjoy all of the available amenities at the hotel during our stay. Besides the wedding. my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the bonfire set up on the beach with a hot cup of clam chowder in one hand and a beer in another. We also loved connecting with the locals and employees! You can see the love and work that goes into making this hotel so wonderful. Our beautiful memories made this year are the start to a wonderful tradition at MBH--as we look forward to coming back to reminisce and create more memories in the future.

I am a Covid Bride. When all of this happened in March, my Husband and I thought everything would be totally fine by our wedding date - 10.10.20. Well, as current events quickly progressed - we realized that we would have to start thinking about alternate options. Amanda Toner: This girl is a literal ANGEL. She is the Wedding Specialist at the MBH, and helped us make our wedding the most magical day it could be. Covid did not stop her and her team. She put up with me with the thousands of back and forth emails, late night calls and always kept a smile on her face. I remember our tasting, that the MBH held privately for us in a secluded part of the restaurant, and she just kept saying \"I love LOVE\". It really made me realize that my Husband and I were not going to let this Pandemic stop us from having the most amazing wedding we possibly could. She suggested ALL of the foods for cocktail hour, a bonfire pit for guests so they could social distance at their own pace, hot \"spiked\" apple cider, etc. She went above and beyond to make this a \"normal\" wedding, and honestly it was better than we could have ever imagined. A few days after the wedding, she contacted me and said she captured our first look from the balcony and wanted to send us the video/photos. I never asked her to do that - such a queen. Nicole Ballou:While Amanda helped with all of the specifics leading up to the event, Nicole was legit my fairy godmother during the rehearsal and the day of our wedding. Above & beyond doesn't even do justice. ANYTHING we asked for, she had it done within 15 seconds (and literally brought me whispering angel rosé ALL NIGHT LONG). Nicole displayed the thousands of pumpkins and decorations that I brought beautifully. I thought there would be some hesitation as to how many little details I asked of her - but never ONCE did she blink an eye. She helped wrangle our entire family and friends that day, and never broke a smile. Once this Pandemic is over, I'll be back to give her the massive hug she deserves. She even met me the next morning at brunch (which they reserved a space for at no charge or hesitation), to cheers and wish us the best. Lastly, and this is so important. OUR. DOG. WAS. THERE. We stressed and stressed that we really wanted our Rhodesian Ridgeback to be part of the ceremony and take pictures with us, then she would go back to the room on the first floor where my brother was staying. LITERALLY no questions asked, other then let me see pictures of her. I honestly looked at my husband at one point and said, this is too good to be true. Well, it wasn't. Midway through speeches - guess who starts howling for us on the patio of the room? My brother went to go get her, and Nicole said it was no problem to have her down under the tent. MY DOG WALKED AROUND THE RECEPTION. Our dream. Nicole also offered to walk the dog at one point in the night so we could enjoy ourselves! I literally can't. Such a spoiled little princess. Amanda, Nicole and the rest of the MBH team - we can't thank you enough for hosting the best night of our lives. We got married during a Pandemic, they said. I am a Covid Bride. When all of this happened in March, my Husband and I thought everything would be totally fine by our wedding date - 10.10.20. Well, as current events quickly progressed - we realized that we would have to start thinking about alternate options. Amanda Toner: This girl is a literal ANGEL. She is the Wedding Specialist at the MBH, and helped us make our wedding the most magical day it could be. Covid did not stop her and her team. She put up with me with the thousands of back and forth emails, late night calls and always kept a smile on her face. I remember our tasting, that the MBH held privately for us in a secluded part of the restaurant, and she just kept saying \"I love LOVE\". It really made me realize that my Husband and I were not going to let this Pandemic stop us from having the most amazing wedding we possibly could. She suggested ALL of the foods for cocktail hour, a bonfire pit for guests so they could social distance at their own pace, hot \"spiked\" apple cider, etc. She went above and beyond to make this a \"normal\" wedding, and honestly it was better than we could have ever imagined. A few days after the wedding, she contacted me and said she captured our first look from the balcony and wanted to send us the video/photos. I never asked her to do that - such a queen. As a general rule I am the planner in our fay- Nicole, Becky and Traci offered support, a push in the right direction when I needed to make a decision but above all Nicole offered peace of mind the entire day. She had it under control and ensured every detail I had dreamed up were taken care of and some details I forgot- she fixed before it impacted the day. We just had our daughter’s wedding at MBH and I can not say enough great things about the staff, location, food and venue. We were in great hands throughout the whole process and Nicole, the banquet manager, is a big reason this was the case. She (and Traci) were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Nicole was helpful the whole day of the wedding making sure everyone was where they were suppose to be, the bride/groom had food and drinks and things ran smoothly. I highly recommend the MBH for a wedding!

The minute we walked in to Madison Beach Hotel we knew it was \"our place\". Classy yet unpretentious. Gorgeous yet casual. It was everything we envisioned for our day. What we could not envision was how helpful and perfect Nicole and her team would be! The details and organization made it so simple for us to have fun planning the little personal touches. They helped us design a day that totally expressed who we are as a couple. On our wedding day Nicole was there literally ever step of the way... giving us a headcount as guests arrived to hang on the porch, handing me some champs when my girls were struggling with my bustle, and then decorating our room to perfection so when we got there after our after party our flowers were perfectly placed by the fire, petals everywhere, and our uneaten dinner in the fridge. Which brings me to the food, even our tough critic italian relatives who own restaurants were raving about the pasta, the raw bar, cocktail hour, and entrees. Our dinners were even delicious cold at 2 am lol. We can't thank Nicole, Traci, and their teams enough. My daughter was married at here on May 31, 2019. From day one Libby and Megan were amazing helping an anxious mom keep it all together. Their knowledge of things we would never have thought of was indeed a welcomed comfort.They were more that accommodating to our guest count and some last minute changes. The food was amazing, the ceremony on the beach was exactly what my daughter had always dreamed of. The staff was incredible, they were right there to make sure the bridal party was getting food between photos and to make sure that the two boys were fed first.Nicole, our wedding day coordinator deserves the highest of all praise. She was somehow simultaneously everywhere at once, running the show, making sure that I was calm and always with a glass of champagne and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. When we had a minor catastrophe with eyelashes, she sent someone out to get eyelash glue, and they even came to the rescue with a hot glue gun for a boutonniere that lost a starfish. She handled everything as cool and calm as could be. Every wedding needs someone like Nicole running it. They had special surprises for the bride and groom too.After the wedding we went to our room to change before packing up the decorations. When we came back down 10 minutes later they had everything packed up and ready to go for us. We spent the rest of the weekend in our amazing hotel room, dining in the restaurant and watching the next bride and groom get married, and Nicole work her magic all over again.Thank you MBH for making my daughter's dreams come true!This is THE BEST beach wedding venue in Connecticut!

I’ve always wanted a beach wedding. Libby, Nicole, and the Madison Beach Hotel made my dreams come true in January nonetheless!! On Friday night, my wedding eve, we checked in as did many family members and friends. Alex and Annie and everyone at the front desk and valet were beyond friendly, helpful, and kind. All rooms have gorgeous water views. My mom, sister, and I stayed in the luxurious bridal suite (two spacious adjoining rooms, both from which you can walk onto a gorgeous wrap around balcony and onto the beach) – we felt like queens! This is where we all got ready the next morning. Our make-up artist met us here and friends and family were able to visit, making this girl time so special. During this period, Lisa delivered a delicious lunch spread and beverages, so good! Now onto my incredibly amazing right-hand girl, Nicole, our banquet manager. Mind you this was January, but when it came time for our first look, Nicole highly recommended my groom and I get outside for pictures. She was not only with us every step of the way, but she was literally tossing my cathedral veil in the air, jumping out of the picture so that we could get the “perfect shot.” Our ceremony was upstairs in the Faulkner Ballroom overlooking the water -such a beautiful, intimate setting. Guests were not able to see the reception tables as there was a wall up during this time. This for me was important. After the ceremony, we walked right into Tides for cocktail hour. Guests were still able to overlook the water as they snacked on delectable and plentiful passed hors d’oeuvres and stations and helped themselves to two open bars. Again, God Bless Nicole…I told her I wanted a sunset shot, but I did not want to miss our cocktail hour. With the sun quickly setting, she helped me throw my Hunter boots on under my dress and we quickly marched out to the rocks on the water and had our photographer snap away. (Thanks Nicole!) After cocktail hour, guests made their way into the ballroom which looked prettier than I could have even imagined from the table settings to the flowers to the setting sun. The food was phenomenal thanks to the wonderful Chef Mo. The rest of the night was a dream, everything was so well executed and I had not a worry in the world except that I didn’t want the night to end (who would with Nicole by your side and Libby behind the scenes paying attention to every single detail?!!) I’ve always wanted a beach wedding. Libby, Nicole, and the Madison Beach Hotel made my dreams come true in January nonetheless!! On Friday night, my wedding eve, we checked in as did many family members and friends. Alex and Annie and everyone at the front desk and valet were beyond friendly, helpful, and kind. All rooms have gorgeous water views. My mom, sister, and I stayed in the luxurious bridal suite (two spacious adjoining rooms, both from which you can walk onto a gorgeous wrap around balcony and onto the beach) – we felt like queens! This is where we all got ready the next morning. Our make-up artist met us here and friends and family were able to visit, making this girl time so special. During this period, Lisa delivered a delicious lunch spread and beverages, so good! Now onto my incredibly amazing right-hand girl, Nicole, our banquet manager. Mind you this was January, but when it came time for our first look, Nicole highly recommended my groom and I get outside for pictures. She was not only with us every step of the way, but she was literally tossing my cathedral veil in the air, jumping out of the picture so that we could get the “perfect shot.” Our ceremony was upstairs in the Faulkner Ballroom overlooking the water -such a beautiful, intimate setting. Guests were not able to see the reception tables as there was a wall up during this time. This for me was important. After the ceremony, we walked right into Tides for cocktail hour. Guests were still able to overlook the water as they snacked on delectable and plentiful passed hors d’oeuvres and stations and helped themselves to two open bars. Again, God Bless Nicole…I told her I wanted a sunset shot, but I did not want to miss our cocktail hour. With the sun quickly setting, she helped me throw my Hunter boots on under my dress and we quickly marched out to the rocks on the water and had our photographer snap away. (Thanks Nicole!) After cocktail hour, guests made their way into the ballroom which looked prettier than I could have even imagined from the table settings to the flowers to the setting sun. The food was phenomenal thanks to the wonderful Chef Mo. The rest of the night was a dream, everything was so well executed and I had not a worry in the world except that I didn’t want the night to end (who would with Nicole by your side and Libby behind the scenes paying attention to every single detail?!!) It was the happiest day of my life and we can’t thank Libby, Nicole and the MBH team again! XO

When you walk into Madison Beach Hotel- you know the setting is idyllic. Gorgeous boutique hotel, with nice looking restaurant and a porch with a million dollar view, made even better by the beautiful rocks you can go and climb on yourself (hello- wedding photos!) but for an incredible day to come together with ease and class- it takes a team of people- where everyone is passionate, and their leader is organized, personable, and professional. After having my wedding in September, I can confirm the MBH team is INCREDIBLE, and it is led by the one-of-a-kind Libby Rutty. Aside from the gorgeous setting, we were worried about the dreaded- \"wedding factory\" feel that often comes with places that throw at least a decent amount of weddings every season. I can honestly say- I don't know how Libby does it. She made me feel like I was the only bride in the world, not just that day but that season!. From the time you are picking your date, to the time you lay your head on your pillow that night, Libby and her team are attentive, knowledgeable, flexible, and genuinely excited to execute the day. No problem was too big, no question was annoying. I cannot say enough good things about Libby, and the team, including Nicole who was also so on-point, genuine, organized, and attentive that weekend. Not to mention the food- our guests are still talking about appetizers and their dinners. You know how bride and grooms say they don't get to eat because they too busy? We sat down and ATE- loved the menu and my wedding dinner. My husband and I have incredible memories from that day- no stress- just two people surrounded by their friends and family, in a special spot, with some really professional and caring people making sure it all goes down as planned. And yes- we took pictures on the rocks :) Can't go wrong at MBH- rain or shine. Thank you Libby and the entire MBH team.

I don't know what our wedding would have been without Libby and Nicole. From the moment we stepped into MBH it was perfect. The venue was gorgeous and almost more important, we felt comfortable with Libby from the beginning. She was calm (which is exactly what you need in a wedding planner) and willing to work with us. We met with one other wedding planner before her who was a bit frantic and that turned me off. The process leading up to the wedding was perfect. They were flexible and reminded us when we needed to have things in. Every question was answered in a timely fashion (even on weekends!). We had a few special issues like a good number of people not drinking alcohol and they came up with creative solutions to make that easier. The days before and of the wedding were even better. The entire staff at MBH was accommodating and helpful. I threw my back out at the gym the day of and the woman at the front desk got her husband to bring tennis balls in for me!! Nicole must have had every item on my agenda memorized because she kept on top of everything. She did it all from giving my rabbi the gift I forgot to give him to bringing my bouquet down to me right before I walked down the aisle when I forgot it upstairs. During the ceremony and reception things just went so smoothly. Literally everyone mentioned how PERFECT it was. There was no disorganization, no awkward pauses. She reminded us to eat before we had to cut the cake which was a godsend. She was everywhere! Everyone also told us how amazing the food was. I know there's more but I can't fit it all here. I would encourage any friend or family member to have their wedding at MBH. It was the best decision I made about the wedding besides marrying my husband ;)

My Husband and I visited 12 different wedding venues before we stopped at the Madison Beach Hotel. Once we walked in, that was it, we knew it was perfect. Our Ceremony was on the beach at high tide and our photos on the rocks were amazing. Our families can't stop raving about how much fun they had and how beautiful the view from the balcony was at sunset. The rooms were amazing and at the end of the night we came back to the room to find a bottle of champagne and two slices of wedding cake that we never got to eat! Libby and the stuff really took care of everything and they made this crazy experience so easy. I honestly don't know what we would have done with out them! This was our dream wedding and everything was exactly how I imagined my wedding day.

My husband and I hosted our reception at the Madison Beach Hotel on September 29th, 2017 and we could not have been happier with Libby, Nicole, Meghan, and the entire MBH team. Our guests keep raving that our wedding was by far the best they have ever attended. The facility itself is breathtaking - newly renovated in 2013 right on the water - it is the perfect mix of beach wedding meets formal elegance. I started pestering Libby early with questions about everything from timelines to food restrictions to unique decor accommodations, and Libby patiently and expertly addressed all of my concerns. We hosted our cocktail hour in tides so that guests could view us taking photos from the open porch (which everyone loved) - and the raw bar was a huge hit! The food in general was extraordinary - gracious portions that were expertly prepared by chef. Not only did Nicole, the banquet manager, keep us on schedule, but we had our own server dedicated to keeping my husband and I fed, watered, and happy throughout the entire night. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was perfect, and we couldn't give the hotel a higher recommendation. A note to anyone looking to book this venue - the rooms are a little pricey, but trust me, they are worth every penny. Our guests that spent the night at the hotel raved that the rooms were absolutely outstanding - so don't let your guests miss out!!

My Husband, Miran and I got married tjis past June at Madison Beach Hotel. Our wedding was beyond our expectations. Libby, Megan, and Nicole were very helpful every step of the way. Libby was there for me personally on my wedding day to calm down my nerves. Megan was absolutely amazing and helpful down to the littlest details, and Nicole was magical from the rehearsal to the wedding day with makimg sure Miran and I were taking care of and kept happy. My bridal assistant was so hands on with the both of us from our food, to drinks, to making sure my dress was always set perfectly. My husband's family are huge critics when it comes to big events, but considering we had 2 different weddings after ours and everyone kept stating our wedding was the wedding of the year says alot about Madison and their employees. The family stated the place was gorgeous, the food was delicious, The staff PAID ATTENTION TO EVERYONES ALLERGIES, and double checked to see if the food was up to their standards. They also complimented on how amazing the DJ Tom was with playing all the right songs and how Nicole placed our decor was right out of my head. After the wedding was all said and done Nicole escorted us up to our Honeymoon Suite which blew us away from the rose petal pathway, to the fireplace being lit and food with champagne was just the ending to our magical day we needed. Miran and I both stated if we could do Just Our Wedding Day over we would 1,000 times because ot was just that perfect. No words or thank yous will ever be enough to Libby, Megan, and Nicole for the care, compassion, and generousity they have shown us throughout our wedding planning and throughout our wedding. We are already considering having our daughter's Sweet 16th Birthday there due to the place being absolutely beautiful, the food being delicious, and the staff I trust fully with making her birthday as magical as they did with our wedding. Thank You Again Madison Beach Hotel, Libby, Megan, Nicole, and the ENTIRE staff.

After the wedding was all said and done Nicole escorted us up to our Honeymoon Suite which blew us away from the rose petal pathway, to the fireplace being lit and food with champagne was just the ending to our magical day we needed. Miran and I both stated if we could do Just Our Wedding Day over we would 1,000 times because ot was just that perfect. No words or thank yous will ever be enough to Libby, Megan, and Nicole for the care, compassion, and generousity they have shown us throughout our wedding planning and throughout our wedding. We are already considering having our daughter's Sweet 16th Birthday there due to the place being absolutely beautiful, the food being delicious, and the staff I trust fully with making her birthday as magical as they did with our wedding. Thank You Again Madison Beach Hotel, Libby, Megan, Nicole, and the ENTIRE staff.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food is amazing. So many of my guests were blown away by how beautiful the day was and how delicious the food was. I would recommend this venue to anyone! My husband and I stayed in the suite for two nights and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt special on our wedding night. I can’t even begin to say enough lovely and positive things about Libby and her entire team at Madison Beach Hotel. From the moment we took a tour of Madison Beach Hotel, nearly 2+ years ago now, up until my wedding, and even beyond, Libby has been right on point throughout the entire process. She has been extremely responsive in everything, with the most detailed (and fast!) answers a bride could ever hope for. Libby is so passionate about weddings, she is truly the BEST wedding planner around. The day of the reception went off without a hitch. I can’t even begin to describe how many small details I had in our wedding, and NOTHING was missed or overlooked. Our guests are continuing to rave about the food, the setting overlooking the Long Island Sound, the staff, and the overall ambiance of the ballroom. Perhaps the best comment I have received (so far) was that one bartender somehow remembered everyone’s drinks, and even before they placed their drink order at the bar, they were already pouring their drink for them. Your guests will feel like true royalty here. Out of all my crazy and unique requests, anything at all that was asked, was attainable and achievable. The entire staff clearly went way beyond their duties. After the end of our long night, and our after party at Donahue’s down the road, we had some food and cake waiting for us in our room, with rose petals scattered across the room and champagne on ice. It was seriously the cherry on the cake. Again, and literally, no detail was missed. I know I have a lifelong friend in Libby, and the entire staff at Madison Beach Hotel for life. I wish I could do it all again!

From the moment I lifted my head off the pillow on 10/1/16 to the moment I laid it back down, I was in love with every aspect of my day. I was in love with the obvious, the man I married, but I was also in love with everything about Madison Beach Hotel. It has such an intimate wedding feel in an absolutely breathtaking and calming location. The food for me was one of the most important parts and also lucky for me the hotel prides themselves on their cuisine. It was not a wedding factory feel from the staff to the FOOD!!! It was amazing. Now onto why it was so amazing, Libby and Nicole. Libby spent the past 5 months holding my hand, understanding when the difficult moments came up with a dash of humor and confidence and seemed to know just what I wanted when I walked through her door and made it very clear that I was going for a not so traditional \"vibe\". From when we started the day to the end of the evening, everything was taken care of and I had zero worries. Libby made sure she saw me off down the aisle with water in her hand right at the steps before I walked down and Nicole who spent the reception with us and seemed to know our every move and only retrospectively did we realize this :) She was calm, 10-steps ahead and genuinely cared. Our room at the end of the evening was beautifully set up for us but she even remembered our brownie sundaes we never had a chance to eat :) , she thought of everything. I never once felt like I was just another bride to Libby and Nicole but also the entire staff of the hotel. You feel like you are staying at the Ritz, the service is impeccable. Moral of the story: BOOK THIS VENUE!!!! If you love the beach and want a wedding that has no worry, good food, amazing staff,insanely beautiful rooms, and doesn't feel like a wedding factory, then this is your place.We will be back for every anniversary. The staff at the Madison Beach Hotel were absolutely wonderful to work with! They handled all the details and essentially act as wedding planners. I was thoroughly impressed with the food, service and quality of this venue and I would absolutely recommend it as a wedding venue! It was beautiful and our night was perfect!!

Words cannot express how my new husband and I feel about the Madison Beach Hotel- and the people who embody it. We were married there on the beach on 6/11/15 and had a truly incredible day, the memory of which will last our lifetime. \rWe first met the Madison Beach Hotel wedding coordinator Libby about 1 year prior to our wedding when we had moved back to CT for the year for work. At the time, after 10 minutes of touring the Madison Beach Hotel, we knew that we had found our own little slice of paradise in my home state and that it was the perfect place for us to tie the knot. As busy doctors-in-training, Libby always found time to meet with us several times throughout the year- she often worked around our schedules and was always available by email or phone for questions/concerns that came up. We relied on her expert advice for several of our vendor selections, including our florist (Bakes & Baldwin, Madison CT) and D.J.,(Mike Connolly - Southington, CT) whose work also turned out to be nothing less than spectacular. \rOn our wedding day, the Madison Beach Hotel truly treated us as king and queen. They schedule only one wedding on any given day, which made us feel like special and honored guests. Our bridal suite was one of their signature rooms with a grand view of the beach and sound right outside our door. They were able to accommodate a block of hotel rooms for us for all of our out-of-town guests to all of our specifications. Anything that we requested for us or any of our guests was achievable, anything that we asked for in terms of menu/timeline/details was attainable. Libby and Matt, along with all of the staff at the hotel, went above and beyond to ensure that our day was absolutely perfect. \rI used to believe that the perfect wedding was a thing of dreams, but after our experience, I firmly believe that with the right location, timing, and especially people helping, your wedding can come together as your own fairy tale which will last a lifetime. Thank you so much to all at the Madison Beach Hotel for our incredible day and start to the rest of our lives! I’m not sure how and where to begin in expressing what a remarkably beautiful wedding for my daughter and her husband at The Madison Beach Hotel! The hotel and the beach location are beautiful. The wedding planning began with the experience, competence, great taste and focus on perfection in every detail by Libby, the special events director. She is great to work with, made invaluable suggestions and has a wonderful way of dealing with any “difficult” situations that come up! Her staff was helpful and patient and answered every question - big or small.When we got to the hotel on Saturday of the wedding, I was so happy knowing every detail was addressed as my daughter was enjoying her beautiful bridal suite with a huge smile on her face! The groom and his groomsmen were perfectly situated in the Spinnaker Lounge which was wonderful to have during the reception as well for guests to use. The day truly began when we had a touching \"First Look\" in the lobby and charming photos out on the grassy strip in front of the beach. As we enjoyed the pretty spot, I noticed everyone bustling around under Mat, the banquet manager's direction getting everything ready for the ceremony. We went back to the room to get ready for the ceremony. It wasn’t until we were queued up to walk down the steps to the ceremony by the beach that I began to truly understand the attention to every last detail which Libby and Mat gave to our wedding. When I took my seat at the front, turned and watched the girls come down the aisle followed by my beautiful daughter, I saw that they even paid attention to the perfect timing of each one walking. Once our beautiful and touching ceremony was over, we were greeted by the first of the wonderful servers with a toast to our newlyweds. \rThe cocktail hour was charming, abundant and delicious with it’s lovely views of the water! We were completely tickled when we were out by the rocks for sunset pictures, when down comes a server with a plate of food for us! The ballroom looked amazingly gorgeous, and the great service continued. And then there was Mat again…ever present, head on a swivel, hard working, unflappable in directing the concert of the wedding - all that with a smile on his face in every instance! The food was delicious, and the flow of the wedding was perfect. Arielle and Jesse’s wedding was elegant and truly was everything and more than we all dreamed possible. I would recommend Libby Rutty and the Madison Beach Hotel very much!

We had a few hiccups with the booking of hotel rooms initially, but once some things were ironed out, we could not have asked for a better venue than the Madison Beach Hotel. The service was absolutely impeccable and they took fantastic care of everyone. They were very flexible when we wanted a few things that were a bit out of the box (we only wanted beer and wine instead of a full bar). The food was fantastic and really some of the best I have ever had in a banquet setting. It should also go without saying that the setting was amazing. The hotel is right on the water and the facilities are impeccable. Overall a great place.

We were married at the Madison Beach Hotel on July 13, 2013. The Madison Beach Hotel is a new, beautiful facility offering upscale accommodations, beachfront views and spa perfect for a beach-style wedding. Having looked at multiple wedding venues in the northeast, the Madison Beach Hotel is the newest and freshest venue with one of the prettiest settings. Wedding package prices were reasonable and in the middle price range of places we looked at. The pre-wedding planning was handled in an organized, professional manner and the staff worked to fulfill all of our desires for the wedding including customized menu items, guest accommodations and last minute requests. The staff at the Madison Beach Hotel are incredibly friendly yet professional at all levels of service. Notably, Libby, Abby, Chris and Trish, were instrumental in making the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception run smoothly and make for an amazing wedding day. We had many customized items made for the wedding that the staff flawlessly utilized and placed them as we had requested. Additionally, their coordination with outside vendors was excellent and the food was delicious. Our experience at the Madison Beach Hotel was excellent and we highly recommend it for your wedding.

This was exactly what we wanted and found was only possible at the Madison Beach Hotel. From the first moment of our first visit we knew this was the place.\rThe Madison Beach Hotel is the only hotel, restaurant, banquet hall located directly on the beach in Connecticut (Believe me, I called/visited almost every venue in CT) Most offer a walk on the beach after but not a ceremony on the beach. We had our ceremony on their private beach. The entire planning process was extremely flexible, friendly and personal. Whenever I called with questions they were up to date on the details of our wedding. Did not feel like just a file folder in a wedding reception hall. The events manager, Beth McDevitt was incredible and went above and beyond in assisting us in every way.\r\rAfter the ceremony our cocktail reception was held on the lawn as our amazing clam bake dinner was cooked on the beach. Our guests danced the night away inside the reception hall. Our guests truly enjoyed themselves and are still talking about the lobster.
