Bear Creek Mountain Resort is a lodge wedding venue located in Macungie, PA. Conveniently situated just minutes from I-78 just outside of the Lehigh Valley, this resort is a secluded and scenic spot for your celebration. Nestled on 330 acres of stunning mountainous terrain, the property is open year-round for skiing, snowboarding, and fine dining. Featuring a luxurious spa, flexible event sites, and two full-service restaurants, this venue provides a comprehensive one-stop shop experience for your special occasion. Bear Creek Mountain Resort has three banquet halls with attached patios where you can host your receptions and ceremonies. The largest of these is the Mountain Ballroom and Courtyard, which can accommodate up to 200 guests. This dining room features rustic accents, sparkling chandeliers, and breathtaking views of the mountain. The Lodge Ballroom has large windows and cozy fireplaces, while the Woodland Courtyard comes with a heated deck. These elegant spaces can be fully customized with your décor to reflect your unique aesthetic and love story. Bear Creek Mountain Resort has 116 rooms that sleep between two and 12 guests. You and your loved ones are invited to book an overnight stay in these luxurious accommodations and enjoy a relaxing wedding weekend together. Ahead of the festivities, you and your wedding party can also get your hair and makeup done at the spa. Guests can rejuvenate here, or go for a dip in any of the indoor or outdoor pools and hot tubs. Rental packages come with five hours of event time, white floor length linens, and napkins. The venue staff also provides event planning and will work hard to ensure that all of your dreams come true. Catering is available in-house and includes four hours of open bar, a champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres, and plated or buffet dinners.

My now husband and I visited a few venues before our visit to Bear Creek Mountain. From day one, no one came close to the exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and quickness in response as they did. We chose them instantly and do NOT regret it. The venue was perfect with its romantic decor and beautiful scenery. The staff was always friendly and attentive, and the FOOD... the food is out of this world. Our guests are still talking about it. We 100% recommend! Ask for Travis! He's the best. (They really all are but that was who worked with us and he is great)

Travis and the team at Bear Creek were absolutely fantastic when it came to planning our wedding! They thought of everything, so many small details that I wouldn’t have thought of. They had worksheets for us to fill out so that we made sure everything was covered and thought through ahead of time so there wouldn’t be any surprises or anything missed.They were AMAZING at handling people's food allergies. I was very nervous about this as we had multiple people with severe food allergies including all of the most common ones (dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy) as well as some more random allergies, but the kitchen and staff handled this beautifully! Those with allergies were listed on our seating chart that we handed in ahead of time, and the kitchen prepared them separate meals to meet their dietary requirements as well as making them their own hors d'oeuvres when needed, and clearly labeling which hors d'oeuvres contained nuts. They set everything up for us perfectly, from the centerpiece and dinner tables to the guest book and remembrance tables. They coordinated with all of our vendors ahead of time so that they could receive all of the deliveries the day of instead of us needing to help with anything like flowers or cake delivery. After the reception, they also packaged everything up to hold behind the desk until we came to get it the next day. They honestly made the whole weekend run so smoothly and it was so convenient to have the whole weeknd at one location from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception, the after party and all of the hotel rooms in one place.

Best. Wedding. Ever!! We had our wedding at Bear Creek and could not be any happier with our experience!! Our coordinator Lacey was amazing!! We had so many options of food and beverage packages to choose from and we got a lot for what we were paying for! Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had and how beautiful everything was!! The staff for the hotel and for our reception were over-the-top friendly and helpful and really strived to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it to be. They took their time to introduce themselves and let us know that they were here to assist us with anything that we needed. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay there so that we could experience more of what the hotel had to offer!! We could not have asked for more!! Amazing Wedding Venue! From the beautiful grounds, the beautiful resort, fireplaces, decks with a view, pools, hot tubs, large suites, the restaurants/bars, etc. this place really has it all for you and your guests. You are going to be blown away! But what really separates this venue from the rest is the staff. From the front desk, to rooms coordinator, to servers, you name it they are some of the nicest, most polite, helpful people we have ever worked with. They really do seem to care about you and your experience and go above and beyond in so many ways to make it happen. Our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing they were! Lacey was our Wedding Coordinator who was so helpful at putting all the pieces together during the planning process. Our wedding day was a dream come true and we are so happy and grateful that we chose Bear Creek as our venue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

10/10 recommend! Absolutely perfect day. Lacey was wonderful. The day was seamless. The employees were so kind and helpful. There were many wonderful small touches that added to the evening. Such as dinner being packed and sent to the room for us to enjoy afterwards. My guests said the food was delicious. And the property has a plethora of amazing picture opportunities. I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. Perfect.

We had the most PERFECT wedding day at Bear Creek in the Mountain Ballroom. Our wedding coordinator, Aimee, was absolutely fantastic, and we cannot express how amazing she was. From the planning process to the rehearsal dinner, and finally our wedding day, Aimee was a total rockstar making sure everything ran smoothly.On the wedding day, she made sure all of our vendors were coordinated with our schedule, and ensured we were on time. Aimee checked in with us the whole day to make sure we had everything we needed and provided help with anything. Aimee's organization and attention to detail allowed us to be fully present in our day and enjoy every second. Our hospitality staff all day was incredible and made sure our food and drink were stocked at all times. We even had a minor mishap with a missing flower girl basket, and Aimee and staff sprang into action so quickly to provide a basket for us, and eventually find ours just in time for the ceremony! Aimee made us feel so special our entire day. We cannot recommend Aimee and Bear Creek enough! If you're looking for your wedding venue, choose Bear Creek for a truly outstanding and magical wedding!

We cannot stress how grateful we are to Aimee! She made us feel comfortable with Bear Creek and met with us several times prior to the wedding. She was always quick to reply if we had a question or concern, and she was incredibly organized and detail oriented. She helped us refine our decisions and streamlined all the moving parts so that everything happened seamlessly according to plan. In the week leading up to the wedding, she was in touch with all of our vendors to make sure they all understood the day's schedule and requirements. In the days prior to the wedding, she deployed her amazing staff to make sure the banquet hall was set-up and ready according to our plan. She went above and beyond to ensure that the whole wedding party was taken care of and worked to ensure we (and the photographer and videographer) had access to any area of Bear Creek needed for magical imagery. She eliminated many of the headaches associated with the complex and interconnected parts of a wedding, so that we were able to relax and enjoy the day. She even had staff members bring us water bottles immediately after the reception ended, knowing that we would be dehydrated afterwards - little touches like that show they care and have the attention to detail you want. We cannot recommend Aimee enough! If you are considering Bear Creek as the place for your big day, you have our word that the Resort and Aimee will make sure it will be one of the best weddings your guests have ever seen, and that you will be taken care of at all times.

We are BEYOND thrilled that we found Bear Creek. It was our absolute dream venue, and our experience exceeded expectations for our Wedding weekend! Lacey, our Wedding Coordinator, went above and beyond for our experience, and also became a friend of ours! Our guests keep telling us how incredible their experience was from the food to the atmosphere, campus and their hotel rooms. We also love that we can visit Bear Creek on our own now to celebrate our Anniversary or just go Skiing, or grab dinner! I also utilized the spa for my manicure and pedicure and had a wonderful experience there. We highly recommend BCMR!!

We had our reception in the Woodland Ballroom at Bear Creek in October 2022. We absolutely fell in love with the venue and our coordinator Aimee the first time we stepped foot in the venue. We had roughly 165 people which is almost the max for that particular ballroom, but the room did not feel overcrowded or stuffy at all. Ajmee was a pleasure to work with and was amazing every step of the way. If I needed to pick apart anything, there were a few things that didn’t necessarily go as planned. We had a bunch of refrigerated desserts brought in beforehand and they were supposed to be placed out during the reception, these desserts never made it out for the guests. We ended up donating them, but that was a lot of money lost unnecessarily. That was probably our biggest negative about the whole night, but I was in my glory and nothing could have ruined it for me. Also, we had an audio guest book which came with very specific instructions for set up, after the wedding we were contacted by the company who let us know that it was never even plugged in by the venue. Apparently it was just set on the table and never set up. So we didn’t get to collect the messages left for us by our guests. Again, not going to ruin my day, but not the best situation. Would 100% recommend Bear creek to anyone and everyone for their big day, just double check some of the little details beforehand. The staff was amazing and those small things wouldn’t deter my rating overall, but I am aware that these things could impact someone’s decision, so just a heads up that not everything will go 100000% as planned, but it won’t ruin the day.

Bear Creek was the perfect venue for our October Wedding. Our coordinator, Aimee, and the entire team went absolutely above and beyond and made our day perfect. We also have to give a shout-out to Lacey on the hospitality team and Lacey on the serving team, as they were both so incredible as well! Our experience from start to finish was so easy and straightforward. We received so many compliments on the facility, staff, food, and grounds. If you are looking for the perfect place for your wedding, look no further.

Lacey was so easy to work with, I would recommend her over and over. We wish we could keep reliving this day! We also were able to get ready and stay at the hotel there! Our guests loved it. They even have bars that are open late if you want to keep the party going. Food and drinks are great!

Bear creek mountain resort was the perfect venue from start to finish. Particularly Aimee, who was literally there from the first tour, until the party was fully rolling. She was an enormous help throughout the entire process and made the whole day stress free and exceeded all my expectations. The team set up and took down all my decor, made sure the bridal party was fed, we even had a steak dinner waiting for us in our hotel room at the end of the night! The way they transformed the space to match our vision was phenomenal. My only piece of advice would be to not allow any property maintenance to go on during the outside ceremony because there was a chainsaw going off I think cutting a tree during my ceremony and everyone could hear that…I was on cloud 9 and didn’t even notice until I watched videos back and my guests told me. Otherwise 100% positive experience with bear creek and totally recommend. They did a very nice job on our rehearsal dinner too. But just want to commend Aimee on having every detail figured out and even bustling my dress. She’s a huge asset to the team there.

My only piece of advice would be to not allow any property maintenance to go on during the outside ceremony because there was a chainsaw going off I think cutting a tree during my ceremony and everyone could hear that…I was on cloud 9 and didn’t even notice until I watched videos back and my guests told me. Otherwise 100% positive experience with bear creek and totally recommend. They did a very nice job on our rehearsal dinner too. But just want to commend Aimee on having every detail figured out and even bustling my dress. She’s a huge asset to the team there.

WE HAD THE BEST WEDDING EVER HERE! I cannot say enough about what an awesome experience it was to plan and host our wedding at Bear Creek. First of all, Lacey was AMAZING. The effort and care she took in organizing our wedding, coordinating with all the vendors and making sure she knew all of my wants and needs for the day was impressive and unmatched. Some of my requests were a bit of a stretch but she worked with me and her team and made everything happen for us! Every event, from the Welcome party to getting ready to the After Party and breakfast the next morning was perfect. Bear Creek assigned a team of angels to help me with anything I needed throughout the wedding, and we really appreciated the hors d'oeuvres they supplied after the ceremony before we went up to the cocktail hour. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces were beautiful and the team decorated perfectly. All of the food was delicious. The staff was SUPER helpful when we arrived with all of our stuff for the wedding and helped us to break it down and cart it to/from our car. The housekeeping staff freshened up our suite while we were at the wedding too so we didn't have to worry about cleaning up after the groomsmen got ready in there! I seriously did not want for anything that entire weekend and it was all thanks to the amazing Staff at Bear Creek. 10/10 recommend!

Kelsey was our wedding coordinator and we absolutely loved working with her. She was organized, professional, and experienced. Throughout the planning process she suggested a few things that we hadn’t thought about and helped make the day go extremely smoothly! The entire staff did everything to make us and our guests feel accommodated and special, even down to the little details that just made our day. One of the main perks of choosing Bear Creek was the ability to have our whole wedding weekend in one place, from the rehearsal dinner on Friday to the day after breakfast on Sunday, and it was well worth the peace of mind to stay in one place where everything is taken care of for you. Since Bear Creek hosts so many weddings each year, we felt confident as soon as we took our initial tour and spoke with the staff that no details would be missed. Even so, despite the fact that they host weddings what must be nearly every weekend, they went out of their way to make us feel special and not like we were just another number. We felt so calm and relaxed on the day of the wedding because we knew they had everything running smoothly and under control. The staff handled all of the set up and tear down exactly as we had planned with our coordinator ahead of time, so there were no surprises – only a beautiful day. We worked with Lisa as our coordinator and she was phenomenal at answering our questions and guiding us along the way, even suggesting particular shots for our photos and helping us figure out where to place certain décor items we had but were not sure what to do with. The catering staff was excellent and our guests raved about the food. The whole weekend was exactly what we hoped and dreamed!

Looking for a venue that will make your wedding planning easier? This is the place. I can't imagine a venue easier to work with. We had originally scheduled our reception in 2020, but COVID pushed us back a year to 2021. Even through the process of rescheduling, the staff at BC did everything they could to make the whole thing as stress free as possible. Lisa was our coordinator and was a true pleasure to work with but everyone on her team was amazing. Through all of our crazy ideas, Lisa never once said \"no\" and executed everything perfectly to our specifications, and was amazingly accommodating. We got plenty of compliments from our guests about how everyone single resort employee was kind and helpful. Plus having so many amenities in one place and not having to travel between the ceremony site, reception space and hotel made the whole day run smoothly and greatly reduced our anxiety getting our guests to where they needed to be on time.I have to issue one small warning...our wedding was Aug 2021. We chose the mountain resort because in the summer time, the mountain was so beautiful and green and quiet. However, we did find out a few months before our wedding that they were adding a new summer attraction: a giant water slide. We were assured it wouldn't effect our ceremony site. Not the case. Its completely visible from the Lodge ceremony site. We weren't happy about this but we were able to use another reception space's ceremony site which was ultimately a better location but we were terribly pleased about seeing the slide from the Lodge. Ultimately, we were still really happy with our event but thought it was worthy mentioning to anyone considering the Lodge in the summer time. You cannot hide the slide. But if you are considering a Spring, Fall or Winter wedding, I still highly recommend BC.In my opinion, you should really consider this venue for your wedding. And by the way, the pictures on their site don't really do it justice. Go see the place in person and you will be blown away by how truly beautiful the mountain is.

All I can say is WOW, were we glad that we switched our venue to Bear Creek!! We had to post pone our wedding from Jan to May of 2021, and with 8 weeks to spare, we changed our venue. Aimee was nothing short of amazing and neither was the rest of the staff. They truly do go above and BEYOND to make this day the best of your life. They handle any hiccup or issue without you even having to stress about it. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful venue and I cannot express enough how much it is worth it!

My husband and I chose BCMR because it was intimate, personal (the staff were so accommodating, kind, and very willing to go above and beyond), affordable, and most of all because we felt we would be in capable hands with Theresa (the event coordinator at BCMR), and later with Lisa. We made the absolute best decision of our lives.Our wedding, during a pandemic, had been the absolute best day of my life and a lot of that is because of the amazing people at BCMR. My husband and I booked about 2 years in advance and during that time there had been a change in staffing so our wedding planner/event coordinator changed to Lisa. Lisa is absolutely incredible. We were obviously worried at first, because we loved working with Theresa, however there was truly no need to worry. Lisa went above and beyond for us constantly. Our planning process was quite stressful because of the pandemic. However, Lisa stayed in communication with us throughout the whole experience. Always updating us, offering suggestions, and doing everything she could on her end to help us have the best day. One of the many beautiful things about BCMR & Lisa is that you review EVERY DETAIL of your wedding ahead of time together and she reaches out to your vendors to make sure that everyone is on the same page. I am a very scheduled person, so having this made my experience so much nicer.Lisa made so many accommodations for us so that our wedding day was beautiful, simply enjoyable, and not stressful at all. She helped set up 11 Christmas trees for decorations, fielded my anxious phone calls when I was worried the state was shutting down, ran our rehearsal practice so that we all felt confident on the day of, made sure everything was perfect when we were getting ready the morning of the wedding, made sure I was able to get a picture with my husband on the ski lift, and so much more. Even when we thought it was going to be a wash out on our wedding day, Lisa already had thoughts about where she would have us take beautiful photos inside. She planned for everything.I often hear from other brides and grooms that they don’t get to enjoy their wedding day or even eat dinner. That was not our scenario. Because everything had been done ahead of time, we were truly able to enjoy every minute of our wedding day and we even got to enjoy our dinner- which was AMAZING- the food…is incredible. BCMR thinks of everything; At the end of our wedding night, there were two dinners waiting for us in our room.I also wanted to share that Laura from reservations was also AMAZING. We cannot say enough good things about her. Due to the pandemic, our invitations went out late, because we were waiting till the last minute given that everything was so unpredictable. She was so accommodating; she extended our block of rooms reservation deadline, offered early check in’s and late check out's for us, was so accommodating to the guests that needed to cancel or add a room last minute, and was always willing to send me updated room lists (so I could prepare welcome bags).It truly feels as though the staff at BCMR is one big family helping you to create and have the best wedding day. If BCMR is on your list… please, look no further

BEAR CREEK IS THE PLACE TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING!When searching for a venue my husband & I wanted a place that screamed warm, you're home, comfort & love - my husband found it with ease. We toured a few venues, but once we walked into the lobby of BCMR we knew it was the place. Our first wedding coordinator was Theresa, who has since left, but was so helpful & welcoming. After she left we did get bounced around a little between coordinators, but LUCKILY ended up with Lisa. She is an angel in human form. Lisa was extremely apologetic for us getting \"tossed around\" but promised us a perfect night - and it was!Lisa & the team at BCMR dealt really well with our requests, our large families & multiple room requests/changes. Everyone at the ceremony/party seamlessly helped out , making the entire weekend flawless. They helped gather flowers, ceremony items & gifts - bringing them to our room & even gave us two meals for the next night, which was a LIFE SAVER as we were exhausted!Throughout the process we met with Lisa & had multiple calls & each time she was cool as a cucumber! Lisa is so organized, as is all the staff & has the ability to answer any questions quickly.During the wedding day, we had appetizers set aside for us/our families in a separate room, making it easy to eat before the actual party. The servers also came up to us during the party to confirm when we wanted dinner, what ice cream flavors we wanted & ALWAYS kept us \"hydrated\"! One major note: the food is delicious! At the tasting we realized the portions are extremely generous, well cooked & easily changed if needed for dietary restrictions! We were able to bring in Kosher meals & BCMR helped our gluten free guests!Dessert is on you to bring in, but that's no worry because once it's confirmed, BCMR handles it all! We decided on Penn State Creamery Ice Cream and Shady Mountain Market (Amish Desserts)- we had extra & they stored it for us, for an extra night & helped us pack it up as we left.BCMR is set on beautiful grounds and is a great price for all the amazing service you get. My husband and I had our wedding at Bear Creek, and it was truly magical. Our wedding coordinator was Lisa, and she went above and beyond for us. Between Lisa, the reservation staff, and the waiters and bartenders, we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Bear Creek was incredible. Theresa was initially our coordinator and when she emailed me that she left I was initially very nervous. But Corinne and Kim were just amazing. They were so supportive and handled my family and friends so well. My husband and I had the best time and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Sometimes communication wasn't the best between the front desk crew, but everyone was so nice it didn't matter. That's literally my only complaint about this place. It's beautiful, independently owned, well priced, and they hooked us up with an incredible wedding. I'll never ever forget it.

Bear Creek was beyond amazing for us. You are assigned a wedding planner when you tour the facilities and she becomes your helper and guide throughout the whole process (Thank you Lisa!). From the very beginning everyone at Bear Creek was very professional and helpful, but during the wedding everyone came together to help. Even the servers were there to help me and my husband at every step. The head servers introduced themselves to us and checked in on us during the reception often. Even when we were getting pictures taken on the grounds, one of the young men who worked at Bear Creek drove us around in a van with a beer and wine with appetizers for us. At every stop, he grabbed our drinks and let us go. So yes, the service is wonderful.And the actual grounds and atmosphere was perfect. Even though it is a ski lodge, it was beautiful in the summer. The landscapers use beautiful flowers and cover up as much of the ski equipment as they can to make the area be as romantic as possible. I received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was...and we honestly didn't add too much! The grounds are just that beautiful! And just some advice, look at the Lodge first. Those fireplaces are so wonderful.Going with Bear Creek was the best wedding decision my husband and me made. Easily.

I found out about Bear Creek at my first ever bridal show and instantly fell in love through their brochure! My (now) husband and I booked a meeting right away with Lisa to get a feel for the venue. The moment we stepped onto the resort, we knew it was where we would get married. Lisa was very professional and guided us along the whole resort giving us pictures and tips on how it would look during our wedding time. I have to be honest, this was our first venue tour so we felt like we would be regretful if we didn't at least look at two more \"mountain\" venues. So we did and found ourselves wanting in the venues everything that Bear Creek already had to offer. A hotel and wedding reception in one! You cannot beat that! So we immediately booked Bear Creek and are eternally grateful for all the staff's hard work to make our wedding so beautiful! Choosing Bear Creek was the best decision we could have made for our wedding (we planned our wedding from Chicago IL)! I recommend taking advantage of the buffet breakfast the morning after your wedding (guests can pay on their own, come and go as they please but BC can reserve a private space for your group). If you do a rehearsal dinner there, I'd ask for private space (we sat in the open dining area at the Grille, but would have liked a more private/blocked off space). We used the Grille bar for a pre-wedding day happy hour and after party for the wedding - so convenient! The BC staff took carts full of our decor, and did an amazing job staging the room - they even took the flowers from our ceremony setup and reset them at our sweetheart table. We worked with Theresa and she was a dream - I've heard great things about the other coordinators too! Our guests loved the food and had no problem getting apps and drinks all night. You'll have a staff leader assigned to check in with you all night, there was never a moment we didn't have drinks in our hands! We would recommend anyone to host their special day at Bear Creek!

We had our reception here. From beginning to end, our wedding coordinator (Lisa) was incredible. She was very thorough, responsive, and happy to answer any questions that came up during the wedding planning process. As it got closer, expectations of what she needed from me were communicated well in advance and no detail was left unturned. Every ask that from beginning to end was so organized that it made wedding planning that much easier. The night of the actual event, the service was exceptional and food was delicious. At the end of the night staff placed our cards & gifts from our guess into the complimentary bridal suite, extra meals in our refrigerator (if we didn't get a chance to eat earlier or just in case we were hungry), as well as a thank you note, signed by all of the staff that worked that evening, along with a $50 gift card to use at their resort in the future. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Everything went off without a hitch. No regrets AT ALL. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose to have my reception there again in a heartbeat. They were an absolute pleasure to work with.

BCMR exceeded my expectations from their impeccable service from the moment we checked into the hotel to the waitresses helping me bustle at the cocktail hour to the evening where they had saved two entrees for me and my husband for later that night they went above and beyond in every category you are looking for in a venue. The food was outstanding (highly recommend chicken wellington) and the price compared to other venues was similar in cost but worth every penny. I had many guests even come up to me to compliment the service and the food. Lisa as my planners handled any small glitches and allowed me to relax and joy my day with my fiancé which is exactly what you should be doing on your wedding day. There were two other wedding the same day and I didn't see or hear anybody it was like the whole resort was ours (woodland ballroom). Lisa contacted my vendors on wedding week and by the time I got to BCMR to check in Friday I was hanging by the pool enjoying the spa without a worry about anything. In short it was perfect pick them as your venue. I also recommend adding late night snack (huge hit with the guests). Thank You BCMR!

BCMR took my dream wedding from a fantasy and made it a reality from the big picture to the tiny details. Lisa my wedding planner was excellent through out the whole process. I am extremely neurotic and I expect perfection and there have been very few moments in my life where someone exceeded my expectations. We had our wedding at Bear Creek on October 21st, 2016. It was by far the most AMAZING experience we could have ever imagined. From the day we went there to walk through the venue last year it was always a great experience. We wanted to have a fall wedding with great foliage to be our backdrop so as we narrowed down our venues Bear Creek always managed to stay on our list. I am so happy we chose to book Bear Creek for our special day because Theresa was by far the best venue coordinator we met throughout our experiences in the hunt for a venue. She did not disappoint throughout the year of planning by responding to any questions and keeping in touch along the way. As the months turned into weeks prior to the wedding she followed up with us to ensure she had every detail we wanted in the master plan. Since I was doing everything myself for planning this really helped me stay on track to make sure my day was perfect and I didn't have to worry about day of details. The day before the wedding I was running behind getting up there with the reception décor and my fiancé was running late from dropping our dog off at the sitter and she was very flexible in adjusting our timeline to take care of the details in a different order so we were still done with rehearsal on time and everyone knew what was going on for the next day. On the day of the wedding I snuck down to the ballroom before getting ready and all of my decorations were exactly how I wanted them so I knew the rest of the day would be perfect. As we got closer to the ceremony we had staff assisting us an ensuring everything went as planned. They even brought us drinks and appetizers after the ceremony since they knew we had a few additional pictures to take before our private cocktail hour. I highly recommend the private cocktail hour because you have your servers who fill drinks and apps as you get to spend time with your parents and bridal party. It was nice to take that time to relax before the rest of the night becomes a blur. They got everyone seated quickly after cocktail hour so we could make our entrance and from there everything just flowed. They helped your vendors stay on track with timelines and your glass was never empty. Every time I finished a drink there was someone there to fill it up. They also noticed we didn't really eat much of our meals so we could start talking to the tables so they made sure to get a few of our cupcakes up to our room for us to snack on later. The night was perfect and everyone was so great at making sure everything was on point. When the night ended we also got to have an after party in the bar downstairs and it was great to wind down the night by relaxing with our friends. They even decorated our room for when we finally made it back there. I highly recommend Bear Creek for your wedding if you want to have a wonderful experience from start to finish. Theresa was amazing and their staff is all so great at making it memorable!

Theresa was wonderful throughout our engagement, keeping us informed about the next step in the planning. Two days before the wedding, we delivered our items for the reception and everything was set up perfectly by the Bear Creek staff. We were running a little behind taking pictures before the cocktail hour, so members of the staff brought us drinks and appetizers outside. The lodge venue was perfect for our style and we loved that the fireplaces were on during the reception. Everything moved so smoothly and they had everything packed up for us the next morning. Having the hotel rooms in the building was great for our guests coming from out of town and we loved seeing everyone one last time at the Grille for brunch the morning after.

I cannot say enough things about Bear Creek. From the moment we started looking at wedding venues, we knew we wanted to get married there for the sheer look of the venue and it going perfectly with our rustic fall wedding. After touring there and meeting our wedding coordinator Lisa Geiger, we could not wait for the next 2 years to go by! Lisa emailed me daily to see if I needed help with anything, responded immediately to any emails I sent and made sure that the planning process was as stress free as possible. The week of the wedding, Lisa reached out to all of my vendors to make sure they knew the layout of the main events during the reception and knew where they would need to setup. Something I am very thankful she did because I never would have thought to do that with all of the other craziness going on. I put my full trust in the staff when it came to our decorations. I told them what we provided and that was it. My husband and I did a first look of the reception space when first arriving to Bear. The staff exceeded our expectations and the decorations were perfect! Even better than if I would have done them myself. Our centerpieces included flameless candles which required batteries, one of the candles had died before the reception even started and the staff without even letting us know, got a new battery and made sure the candle started working again. The bridal party and our parents were treated like royalty that night. We had servers by our sides the entire time making sure our glasses were never empty, we had plenty of food and were enjoying ourselves. Anything we requested, we had right away. My husband had a great idea for our entrance into the reception which involved a rope, we asked one of the servers and without questioning why we would possible need a rope, she asked how long of a rope we needed. We got our rope! At the end of the night, the servers began packing up leftovers, decorations, gifts, etc. and loaded everything in my parents' car to take home. We had absolutely nothing to clean up before we went to the downstairs bar and continued the party. When my husband and I finally went up to our room which was provided by Bear Creek for hosting our wedding there, there were leftovers in the fridge, cake on the table and the bedroom was decorated beautifully. I have never been more confident in a decision I've made than my decision to have our wedding at Bear Creek. I highly recommend this venue to couples who want a stress free planning process, a beautiful venue, great food and great staff.

Theresa and the whole staff at Bear Creek did a phenomenal job! My husband and I loved the venue, the staff and the food! They went above and beyond expectations we had and were very accomedating to our needs. We had a gentleman (wheelchair bound) who needed a private handicap bathroom so his wife could help him and Bear Creek not only made sure to accommodate that for us but made sure to show the couple exactly where to go in order to get to and from the ceremony site and reception. Their efforts to make everything so smooth for us was incredible! As someone who gets overwhelmed easily they made sure the day of the wedding everything ran smoothly so I would not have a thing to worry about.

We worked with Therese, who is a true pleasure to work with - she was professional, organized, and extremely accommodating to special requests we had along the way. The hotel rooms are gorgeous, the food is amazing, and it was so convenient for our guests to have the ceremony, reception, and after-party, and farewell breakfast all in the same resort. After our tour of Bear Creek, my husband and I immediately knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We loved the mountain/rustic/classic feel of the venue, and we immediately knew that we would be in good hands with the wedding coordinator, Lisa. She was always one step ahead of us and kept us on pace during the planning process to have a stress-free wedding. Lisa was always incredibly responsive via email and phone, was able to solve multiple problems for us, and always had helpful suggestions. My husband has Celiac and Lisa went out of her way to make sure that his choice of a gluten-free beverage was on hand just for him at our reception. The staff also tailored our hors d’oeuvre tray just for him. Our wedding day was beautiful and went so smoothly thanks to the entire staff at Bear Creek. Our servers and banquet coordinators were attentive and made sure that we (the bride and groom) ate something. All of our guests commented on the beauty of the venue, the deliciousness of the food, and the attentiveness of the staff. I would highly recommend Bear Creek and Lisa!

Before getting engaged my fiancé and I knew we wanted to have our wedding at Bear Creek. We loved the rustic, yet modern feel of the resort, and were looking for a location where guests could stay the night on the premises (which in the Lehigh Valley area is hard to come by!). \r\rThroughout the process we used Therese as our planner. She did an awesome job with quickly answering my many questions in the months leading up to the wedding. As our wedding day approached she ensured that everything was organized and ready to go. The day of, everything was set up exactly as we had envisioned. The day progressed smoothly and every staff member worked hard to make sure that we had the perfect wedding day. \r\rIn addition to the wedding reception being wonderful, the hotel staff was fabulous at catering to our guests and helping them feel at home over the wedding weekend. So many of our guests raved about the resort and the great service they received. The only small complaint we had was that we scheduled breakfast during the recommended hours the morning after the wedding; however, we were given a hard time about checking out a few minutes after 11 AM. As the bride and groom we thought the least they could do was to let us spend our breakfast with our guests, and check out after. Other than that it was an absolutely perfect venue. If we were to do it all over again, we would choose Bear Creek without any reservations.

Before getting engaged my fiancé and I knew we wanted to have our wedding at Bear Creek. We loved the rustic, yet modern feel of the resort, and were looking for a location where guests could stay the night on the premises (which in the Lehigh Valley area is hard to come by!). \r\rThroughout the process we used Therese as our planner. She did an awesome job with quickly answering my many questions in the months leading up to the wedding. As our wedding day approached she ensured that everything was organized and ready to go. The day of, everything was set up exactly as we had envisioned. Bear Creek was wonderful. The wedding coordinator assigned to my wedding was fabulous. They made the process go extremely seamless and I never stressed at all while planning. The event staff was extremely attentive and made sure all the guests were being taken care of. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to all my over night guests. I had guests make their stay into long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. I would highly recommend having a wedding here or any formal function.

Bear Creek is a beautiful place but more importantly our coordinator Lisa was amazing. She took care of every detail. My wedding ceremony was supposed to be outside but it was too hot and there was a high chance of rain. She re-organized the indoor wedding to an area that was never used before and I loved it. The food was great. I emailed her non-stop and she responded immediately. I am so pleased that I picked this venue! It was also affordable and correctly priced for everything they include.

My husband and I got married on June 14, 2014 at Bear Creek and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. From the first visit we made to Bear Creek, we knew it was the best decision for our special day. The landscape was so picturesque, Therese Labour (our wedding coordinator) was so kind and helpful and all of the staff we met was very friendly. Planning a wedding from 8 hours away, let alone another country (Canada) is not easy but Therese and her team made it easy. She was very responsive via email and worked with us to coordinate visits around our scheduled trips to Pennsylvania.\r\rStarting with rehearsal the night before, Therese lead us and our officiant (whose first time it was doing a wedding) through the motions. She's clearly done this a few times before. She put us all at ease and worked well with our group, having fun along the way. On the day of the wedding, the entire staff was so helpful in allowing my husband and I to be able to sit back and enjoy the day. We were not stressed, maybe some excited nerves, but definitely not stress. I had handed all of our things off to Therese and her staff and they took to setting it up and handling the coordinating of vendor arrivals and set up. I was able to spend the morning with my bridesmaids, getting our hair done and just enjoying the moment. Our ceremony went off without a hitch (minus my veil trying to fly away!) and our guests all enjoyed the festivities. The food was spectacular and the banquet staff provided wonderful service. Like most couples, we didn't get a chance to eat much, but the staff was kind enough to pack up the 2 extra meals we had due to a last-minute cancellation. They even packed up some extra crab cakes at my husband's request! Which we thoroughly enjoyed the next evening! We had planned a little \"after-party\" When the food we had ordered for our \"after party\" went quickly, the staff was kind enough to bring out chips and pretzels to keep our guests fed! They really paid attention to the little details throughout the day. \r\rThe majority of our guests were staying at the resort for the weekend and from check in to check out, they were very well taken care of. We heard numerous guests say how lovely the hotel was, how good the food was and how courteous the staff was.\r\rIf you're looking for a beautiful location, spectacular food, and wonderful staff to work with, Bear Creek is definitely a great choice for you!

Erin was our coordinator. She took care of us from beginning to end and made our day as stress-free as possible. No matter how busy, Erin was always responsive to our calls, emails and unusual requests. It is clear from the first visit how experienced Bear Creek is at hosting weddings, and that shows in every encounter. Bear Creek was the first venue my husband and I visited, and we knew at that moment it was the perfect place. Our ceremony and reception was held in the Mountain Ballroom and everything was absolutely perfect. Lisa Geiger was with us from start to finish and made sure she did everything to make our day perfect. The food was excellent, the customer service was outstanding. The grounds of Bear Creek are gorgeous and the perfect place to have a wedding!

A beautiful September day.The staff at Bear Creek was AMAZING. They all did a wonderful job making sure we were happy and everything went smoothly. Everything was absolutely PERFECT. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous. We chose the Woodland room. It was perfect for the amount of guests we had. Plenty of room for dancing. The food was out of this world. Our guests are still calling us telling us how good their meals were. I would not change anything about our experience with Bear Creek. Our wedding day was PERFECT!!

We had our wedding and reception (The Lodge)at Bear Creek in September, and we could not be happier with the way everything turned out. From the start of the planning process to after the wedding the staff was amazing and accommodating to all of our needs and wishes. They made our day effortless. The resort is beautiful, the hotel rooms are perfect, and there are many things for guests to do if staying over. Our wedding day was perfect, and we had several guests say it was the best wedding they have been to, and they will be returning to the resort on their own time because they loved it there.
