Wedding Date 03-08-2019
We held our late-summer wedding reception in the outdoor courtyard and it truly was magical! The space is classy and elegant, but not over-the-top fancy - the exact combination we wanted for our mountain wedding. We had about 125 guests and it felt intimate, but not crowded with seamless use of the indoor/outdoor areas. Jennifer was great to work with and always responded to my questions in a timely fashion. The staff on the day-of was on top of everything and the whole night went off without a hitch. I'm so happy we will always have wonderful memories of our special day at the beautiful Beaumont in amazing Ouray.

We had our wedding here and it went spectacularly. Jen helped us with all the details to make sure everything went off without a hitch:) The venue is gorgeous and our rooms were perfect, quiet, and had a wonderful Victorian, romantic feel to them. The staff was all very helpful and friendly as well. Thank you guys so much for making our day so special!

We had a lovely summer wedding reception at the Beaumont Hotel. The building's beautiful historical details are preserved for guests to enjoy, and the hotel proprietors are very pleasant to work with. We rented the hotel for our wedding party, which worked out wonderfully. The courtyard was our reception venue, and it looked great with cozy lighting against a backdrop of mountains. Jennifer and Chad personally oversaw the night's operations so that everything went smoothly. Many thanks to them! We plan to visit the Beaumont again in the future.

Jennifer and her husband Chad were absolutely amazing! We truly did have our fairytale wedding here! The hotel is so beautifully maintained and restored. We rented the whole hotel and it was awesome having the place to just the wedding party and guests! They were super accommodating on all accounts! We even were able to set up a lot the day before! I cannot say thanks enough to Chad and Jen for such a perfect fairytale day!

We had a magical time holding our wedding at the Beaumont Hotel! Jennifer, her husband, and her employees cared for us so well and made sure everything we needed was covered. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly kept. It's even better than the pictures. We had our ceremony on the grand staircase and the reception in the ballroom. My guests told me over and over again how nice a time they had staying at the hotel and attending the wedding there. They made my dream wedding come to life. Thank you! We will be back for many anniversaries.

We wouldn’t want to have had our ceremony anywhere else. The Beaumont is magical! We were married on September 23rd and originally planned fot outdoors on the patio, but had to change plans and move indoors due to weather. Not really a disappointent there, as the grand staircase is stunning! Thanks to Jen and Chad, the last minute change was not a problem. Clearly, this wasn’t their first rodeo. The ballroom reception was magnificent, and the setup was flawless. We accomodated about 75 people without a problem. With the overflow room in the bar, we could have easily handled more, but still the feeling was very intimate. We wound up renting the entire hotel for two nights (surprisingly affordable) which allowed us to put up all the out of town family and wedding party in style - every room is beautiful! I can’t tell you how many compliments we got about the venue (best wedding they had ever attended). Most of our Grand Junction friends got lodging close by in Ouray and made a weekend of it. We are so grateful to Jen and Chad for their help, expertise, and patience.

The venue itself is really beautiful and memorable for all guests! However, do yourself a favor and hire a wedding planner. We hired Jennifer to be the day-of-coordinator and it was our biggest mistake. Two days prior she asked me \"Who will be in charge of keeping people on time?\". She also neglected to inform the groom and groomsmen that the wedding was moved inside which caused a long delay. She kept handing our gifts/cards to my mother instead of putting them aside for us herself. I had a handful of my guests ask if she knew what was going on and additionally the photobooth was also a total bomb (they didn't charge us for it at least). MOST IMPORTANTLY - be careful with an open bar. The bartenders default to top-shelf liquor even when the guest states that they have no preference. I had several guests that were baffled by this and it caused the bar tab to be 2x the estimate.

We had our wedding reception in the outdoor courtyard and it was so perfect. The courtyard itself is so beautiful - it doesn't require much more in the way of decor and/or flowers. It also flows nicely with the adjacent indoor bar. This worked out perfectly for us as we all had to duck in to wait out the rain! Our guests were not bothered at all - it was an adventure that everyone seemed to enjoy! Jennifer was also so great to work with. She is very organized and keeps everything on track. She made sure all of our special drink requests were taken care of and even used her personal decanter collection for the bottles of wine we requested! Overall, our experience at the Beaumont was wonderful!

My husband and I changed our wedding reception venue to the Beaumont courtyard two weeks out from the big day and Jennifer and Chad were very accommodating and reassuring that their team could pull it off within the short timeline. In our time of panic about changing everything last minute, they were the ones who kept us grounded throughout the process and we felt confident that they could make our dream reception come true and they did. It could not have been more perfect!They worked with our wedding planner to ensure that everything went seamlessly and helped her to get an understanding of the courtyard layout since she does not live locally and did not have the chance to see the venue until the day of. They were able to get all of our local favorite alcohol options, which was a nice personal touch to have for our guests! They also worked with our caterer and DJ ahead of time to coordinate what was needed by them.And the courtyard itself is gorgeous! It made decorating much easier as everything was already so beautiful between the colorful flowers, the amazing mountain views, and the unique historical architecture. There was plenty of room for our 85 guests and having the option of the connected indoor restaurant / bar area made for a perfect layout to keep the buffet, drinks, and cake indoors and safe from the outdoor elements and also provided a nice place to set up a photo booth!We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding reception here. The venue, the owners, and the staff were the absolute best and provided us with the greatest memories for our special day!

Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great Owner!! Everything went perfect. I had a week to organize an elopement and Jennifer helped me make everything perfect! Everything went smoothly and the entire process was so easy thanks to Jennifer and the great staff! My bride loved it all and was so happy with the beauty of the hotel and the excellent service from everyone. Ouray is a great hidden treasure! Lots of great food and nice shopping. I will be back to celebrate anniversaries in the future!

The Beaumont is extremely classy and elegant. Jennifer and Chad go above and beyond to cater to any needs. Jennifer answered my questions time and time again and always got back to me in a very timely manner. They were able to give us the wedding of our dreams, while keeping us on budget. Our room was spectacular, very clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The spa is top notch, the massage therapist/s are great and really take their time to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Jennifer and Chad have made the Beaumont hotel a beautiful step back into time. The elegance and vibe of the Beaumont is a treat all in itself. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We will be back as often as we can. Thank you Jennifer and Chad for making our day so special and making sure it went smoothly.

From the very beginnings of planning my wedding it was such a wonderful experience. It all started when I met Jennifer and Chad, the very professional and detail-oriented owners of the Beaumont Hotel. Since it was a destination wedding, I very much appreciated their excellent suggestions regarding the planning and catering of our wedding. In addition to their suggestions, they embraced flexibility to accommodate my special details and touches.When the special day finally arrived, Jennifer, Chad and the entire hotel staff were very attentive to make sure all my special details were in place as we had discussed. The icing on the wedding cake (with the cake artist, by the way, being another wonderful recommendation!) was the incredibly gorgeous venue of the historical Beaumont Hotel. We will long cherish the memories of the hotel's classically elegant outdoor courtyard with the backdrop of the San Juan Mountains rising up behind it as we said our vows. Completing our perfect wedding was the spacious and opulent Victorian lobby and bar area which was meticulously maintained by the Beaumont's superb staff, as well as our expansive Presidential Suite that easily accommodated all of our special guests for a relaxed, post-wedding gathering.

Jennifer Leaver (Owner) We have owned the historic Beaumont Hotel & Spa since 2010. My husband and I bought the place because it is so beautiful and unique. It is like they made it just for weddings! I am the wedding planner, coordinator, furniture mover, floor vacuumer, etc. I am the one that will take care of you from the moment you choose to have your big day at my little hotel. I LOVE to make it the most perfect day of your life. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to Colorado Springs, then Ouray. I was in advertising and marketing for a few decades but I love this industry so much more!
