Setting the Stage for Truly Extraordinary Weddings

The Bedford Village Inn, located in Bedford, NH, is a luxurious wedding venue and boutique hotel. Situated on the site of a former working farm, this 10-acre setting underwent a major restoration to turn it into the stylish event space it is today. Here, the natural beauty of the surrounding area is combined with classic New England charm. An award-winning hotel, The Bedford Village Inn is conveniently located just 10 miles from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The site of the inn was originally known as the Gordon Farm and covered 50 acres of farmland. A farmhouse was built in 1810, which still sits on the property today. The inn itself opened in October 1986, after years of the community coming together to save and renovate the historic farm. The inn is found in what used to be the old livestock barn, while the farmhouse was renovated and transformed into a restaurant. Each space offers various period elements to add to the atmosphere, from antiques to wallpaper and woodwork. Owners Jack and Andrea Carnevale, together with their team, work hard every day to make the inn somewhere to-be-weds can make their dreams come true. Weddings held at The Bedford Village Inn can have up to 250 guests. You can also host an intimate celebration with as few as 12 of your nearest and dearest. With a choice of versatile event spaces, you are free to find the one that best fits your nuptial vision. The Grand Hall, the largest available space, is available for both ceremonies and receptions. You can exchange vows in the adjoining courtyard for a romantic outdoor celebration, gently illuminated by bistro lights. Indoor ceremonies are held in the hall, in front of the bow window. A day-of special event manager remains on-site throughout the day, helping to coordinate every detail. Various packages are on offer, with features including hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast. Your day's festivities can also be held in the Grand Charolais Room. This space features a dance floor, a private bar, and a stately fireplace. There is also an adjoining terrace, so you can mingle with your loved ones in the fresh New England air. Ceremonies can be held in the Grand Gardens, while the room can be used for cocktail hours. Cuisine can be provided by head chef Tina Verville as part of the inn's wedding packages. Once the celebrations have drawn to a close, you and your loved ones are invited to stay overnight in the inn's 64 elegant suites.

My winter wedding was perfection thanks to BVI. Everything about this venue was absolutely amazing. Madison is exceptional. She was on top of it and made sure that everything was perfect. The food was a delicious, the staff were attentive and helpful, and not to mention the aesthetic and atmosphere itself. My husband and I will be back for our anniversary!

My husband and I just got married on New Years Eve (12/31/23) at the Bedford Village Inn. I truthfully have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. When we were initially looking for venues I was searching for places with raving reviews on the food - because that was something I realllllly cared about. I mean what is worse than paying all this money and then having shit food am I right? Bedford Village Inn was the only place that I could find with consistent glowing reviews not only about the food but the entire experience in general. So, when we booked our tour back in 2022 we knew immediately from the stunning views of the venue to our incredible experience with our wedding coordinator, Olivia, that this was where we had to get married. Olivia was a huge selling point for us as well. She was so kind, warm, and professional throughout our entire experience together. Anytime I emailed her with questions she always answered in a timely manner and never made me feel like my questions were silly or I was emailing her too much. She genuinely went above and beyond me and my husbands expectations throughout the entire wedding planning experience, but the icing on the cake for us was when she came in on her day off for our wedding which was something she 1000% did not have to do but we were eternally grateful for. I also had two of my bridesmaids contract COVID two days (yeah you read that right) before my wedding so they were unable to attend. While I was relatively calm about the situation, Olivia made me feel so much better. I know it is her \"job\" but she really just made me and my husband feel so heard, understood, and valued throughout every single step of the wedding planning process. She ensured that our day was perfect and I can honestly say it wouldn't have been the same without her!On to the food! We live pretty close to BVI so we have had the opportunity to come and dine at some of their restaurants before. However, when we had our wedding tasting back in February of 2023 the food blew everything we had ever eaten there out of the water. Everything we tried - from the appetizers to the main meals - were simply outstanding. At the wedding I can't tell you how many people came up to my husband and I raving about how delicious the food was. We additionally had the mini pizzas and cannolis as a late night snack and again, everyone was raving about them. The waitstaff was also so sweet and packaged up some of the pizza and cannolis and took it to me and my husbands suite for us to enjoy after the wedding had finished which I thought was a very kind gesture! I couldn't have asked for anything better! The staff at our wedding was also wonderful. My husband and I had one person in particular, Heather, who was catering to us all night. She was so kind and patient with us and was continuously checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We did unfortunately have one issue with a member of the waitstaff towards the end of the evening, but the manager that night, Paige, handled everything with grace and professionalism! Overall, if you want an incredible wedding from start to finish, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Bedford Village Inn.

We had our wedding at BVI in October and couldn’t have asked for a better day thanks to the BVI team. Madison was awesome to work with and went above and beyond throughout the planning process. She was always super responsive to any questions and helped with many recommendations and random requests we had. Having everything in one place was incredibly convenient and we are so happy with how everything came together. Definitely an evening with a lot of clean plates and full drinks, which speaks to the kitchen and bar as well :) thank you BVI & Madison!

My husband and I were married in the Charolais room at the Grand Hotel (Bedford Village Inn) in October 2023. EVERYTHING was taken care of and the venue was beautiful. The staff was amazing from the beginning and were willing to work with us on every aspect to make our day amazing. We had our own attendant to guide us through the day and serve us personally (and they made sure we ate and drank!), and other staff members stood by to make sure everything went smoothly with our guests and outside vendors. The food was incredible, the hotel itself was amazing and beautiful. We are planning all of our future anniversaries there, and I personally cannot wait to go back and plan another event.

We had our wedding at BVI in September and couldn’t have had a better experience. I discovered the BVI online when searching for New England wedding venues, and my husband and I fell in love at first glance. Our first visit did not disappoint and we were sold! Olivia was INCREDIBLE to work with from start to finish, making every single detail seamless and fun. She really made us feel welcomed each time we came to visit the location, whether it was running up to us to give us a hug at our tasting, or providing a round of champagne at dinner when we brought my family there for the first time to see the place. Our wedding day was perfect in every way and it was a dream to see my vision come to life. I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at BVI, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we chose this venue the communication and planning was next level! The month before our wedding the coordinator we were working with left (which made us a little nervous) but the ball was not dropped at all! If anything our experience just improved - the cooridator that took over Melissa was incredible! I have never met someone so organized and had such an eye for detail. On the day of the wedding, she took charge of putting out all our decorations and not only did she make everything look beautiful she took all the stress away! I was able to truly relax while getting ready and I was not worried about a thing! We even switched last minute to have our wedding outside and Melissa let all our vendors know, leaving us to not have to do a thing. I highly recommend BVI for anyone seeking a magical and hassle-free wedding experience.

I don't think I could accurately put how much I loved working with BVI into words. The entire team was just incredible, always on top of everything, and made sure the day was absolutely perfect. Madison was our coordinator and she is easily one of the best in the business. She was so responsive whenever I had a question during the planning stages and wasn't afraid to be honest, which I highly appreciated. I also worked with Allyson on the lodging side for booking the rooms and anything hotel related. Again, incredibly responsive and helpful during the planning stages. Her and her team were there whenever someone needed help for their reservation and it made the entire process so easy. Every single team member at BVi made the wedding the best wedding it could possible be. The food is absolutely delicious. The venue is beautiful. You can rent decor. And the day of the wedding there were so many little touches that BVI did to make it feel as special and personalized as possible. I cannot recommend BVI more and this place will always hold such an incredible spot in my heart. Thank you thank you thank you

Got married on 11.10.23 and it was absolutely perfect! Madison Mindes was our coordinator and she was nothing short of amazing! She was very responsive in a timely manner and really guided us in planning the wedding of our dreams. Allyson was great when it came to booking rooms and answering any questions my guests had. The whole staff at BVI went above and beyond. Madison and the rest of the staff were able to set up/decorate the reception area better than I could imagine. The food was exceptional and there were no complaints. We highly recommend booking your wedding here!

We got married at the Bedford Village Inn in July 2023 and it was amazing! Madison Mindes was our wedding coordinator, and she made the experience incredible for us. She was always quick to respond to us and made sure that all of our needs were met. She offered us excellent advice, and allowed our vision of our wedding to come true. Madison was extremely professional and approachable, and we would strongly recommend her to anyone! From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding itself, our experience at the Bedford Village Inn was wonderful. It's a first-class venue with an amazing staff. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, the food was great, and all of the little details were taken care of to our satisfaction. We could not have been happier to have had our wedding at the Bedford Village Inn!

Working with Molly was absolutely perfect. We live in Colorado and planned our wedding long distance without the opportunity to see the venue but after hearing so many good things about the venue we decided to book it, and Molly and her staff went above and beyond to make the planning process easy. Thank you! We initially planned to get married outside however the weather had different plans... it poured rain all day and the staff was so awesome, they moved us inside and made the room look absolutely beautiful! they really made us feel special and executed my vision for our wedding perfectly! thank you so much!

She took the time to understand our vision of how our wedding day would go and worked so hard to execute that vision for us. It was phenomenal to work with someone who gave honest opinions when I was struggling with indecisiveness and helped me achieve my Pinterest wedding dreams. June 2023 — Bedford Village Inn and it’s classic New England charm sold us in an instant. With beautifully manicured grounds, onsite lodging, and award-winning cuisine, we knew this venue would provide us with an unmatched experience. Our wedding coordinator, Madison, provided us with professional, timely, and detailed answers and explanations to any and all of our questions during the planning process. She was incredible to work with and made us feel as if we were the only couple she was focused on. We hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner on the eve of our wedding in the Overlook Room which was such a classy vibe. Furthermore, the North End buffet was outstanding. On the wedding morning, Madison and the BVI team ensured things were relaxed, comfortable and carefree. A delicious breakfast was delivered to the bridal suite which we savored as we watched the décor being set up in the Great Hall below — so much fun to see everything come together! Both the ceremony and reception went off seamlessly, and our guests raved about the hors d’oeuvres! We also had a lovely attendant who provided us with champagne, our signature drink, and plenty of hors d’oeuvres immediately following the ceremony while we took portraits. For dinner, the chef was incredibly accommodating and let us pick something special off the menu just for us! We ended the night around 3 AM after our guests opened their Inn rooms for the “after party.” We can’t recommend the ever-so charming Bedford Village Inn enough. We would pick this venue all over again. Thank you BVI for one of the happiest days of our lives.

We recently got married at BVI and cannot say enough good things about our experience! Going into the wedding planning process we knew we wanted a beautiful venue that could host an outdoor ceremony and had accommodations on-site for guests. The BVI checked off all our boxes and then some! Not only did we have a wedding coordinator helping us throughout the planning process but also a bridal attendant and day of coordinator on our wedding day (which we didn't realize how important that was). Molly Brennan, our wedding coordinator, was simply amazing! She was super responsive to all our questions/requests and made the wedding planning process easy! She even helped put together different displays we had for our wedding day. The venue also offers a range of beautiful décor (both included or available for rent) which helped to easily bring our romantic vibe/vision to life. Going into our wedding day, we were calm because we knew the team would execute our vision seamlessly and they did! With our day-of coordinator, everything went smoothly from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The only issue that day was figuring out my dress bustle which our coordinator successfully resolved. Overall, the staff really went out of their way to make sure me, my husband, and guests were taken care of. In fact, our guests raved about the wait staff. The brunch the next day was also a fantastic way to close out the weekend events. I cannot recommend BVI enough to those looking for a full service wedding venue!

I can not say more great things about BVI! We just got married in September and they were an absolute dream. They were so helpful and so friendly. The venue was stunning and having the hotel on the property is such a bonus for the guests. The food was amazing and all of our guests raved about how amazing everything was. Olivia is an absolute god sent. She is so beyond helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure your day and planning go as smoothly as possible. She is the sweetest human and I could not have gotten thru planning without her. All the staff made it so easy so we could enjoy our day. I would recommend BVI and their amazing staff for anyone getting married. They helped make our day so special and we couldn’t thank them enough! 🤍

We held our wedding at the BVI on August 26, 2023 and it was absolutely perfect. The grounds at the BVI are stunning and offers so many ways to personalize your wedding. The accommodations between the Inn suites, Apartment suites and rooms at The Grand make it such an easy and wonderful experience for guests to stay on site the entire weekend. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at one of their locations as well and it was perfect. Aside from the beauty of the space, the service and professionalism is 10/10. We were so taken care of, and the mannerism of each person working there was of the utmost professionalism. Olivia was our wedding coordinator, and we cannot speak more highly of her. She is the sweetest, kindest person, on top of being such a consummate professional who is quick to help, so knowledgeable and extremely efficient. In addition, the food at the BVI is INCREDIBLE. So many of our guests say its the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Holding your wedding at the BVI is so special, we couldn't recommend it more.

BVI truly made our wedding dreams come true on August 31st, 2023. My husband and I started wedding planning only 8 months prior to our wedding day due to learning about some sudden illnesses in our family. BVI and our coordinator Molly were absolutely amazing at making our wedding planning process as painless as possible. We got married on a Thursday and it was the best decision we could've made. We were able to stay at the Inn the night before the wedding and hold our rehearsal dinner on site at the Tavern. All our wedding party and close family was able to stay with us both the night before and the night of the wedding. This is a MASSIVE perk that I have never seen anywhere but a destination wedding. Not having to travel before or after the wedding on that day was amazing. Our coordinator Molly helped us through the entire process. She was so responsive to our emails, planned meetings with us, and even talked me through a panic attack right before walking down the aisle. She set every decoration and detail up for us and when I tell you it literally looked like something straight off a Pinterest board I am not kidding. To be able to just relax the morning of our wedding was huge, but to walk downstairs to such a beautiful set up was incredible. Even with last minute changes and delays the day-of, BVI was easy to work with and kind every step of the way. My husband and I are on the younger side, and the first of our families and most of our friends to get married. We had no idea what we were doing and they helped us have the most incredible day possible. I would recommend anyone to book the BVI for their wedding due to their incredible service (and BTW the drinks and food are to die for), the absolute beauty of the venue and the ability to just relax and have a stress free day (as much as possible). We couldn't have asked for anything more.

She was always quick to response with any questions we had and did an incredible job helping our vision come true. We can't thank her enough for her positivity, kindness, and the work she put in for our day. From rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, to the actually wedding day - it was all amazing. The venue is gorgeous, the food was great, and the staff at BVI were extremely accommodating and worked so hard to make the day go seamlessly. It was even better than I could have imagined! My husband and I got married at the Bedford Village Inn in July of 2023. I know everybody says their wedding day was perfect, but our day was truly magical thanks to the BVI. The staff, especially our coordinator Olivia, are top tier and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing, both on the day and in the months leading up to July. This was the first (and only) venue we toured and we knew right away this was the place for us. The style is unique which we loved, the food is stellar, and our friends and family loved being able to stay right on site. We simply can't say enough about this place, these people, or this day. I got married at BVI on July 22 and I can’t stop raving to anyone and everyone about how amazing our experience was! BVI made our wedding dreams come true without a hitch! My husband and I didn’t shop around very long for venues because the moment we stepped foot into BVI, saw its beauty, and heard about all they offer for rehearsal dinner, room accommodations, and wedding ceremony/reception we knew it was the place for us. It’s like a one stop shop for your wedding weekend! One of the best parts was that we received a wedding planning coordinator to help us plan our big day! Madison was with us every step of the way for 18 months and she never missed a beat. She was so well organized, thoughtful, attentive, professional, and personable. She was even on board when I told her I wanted to dye my hair pink in the middle of dinner service, during my outfit change, to kick off the party! Having her there for the big day made me feel so relaxed since she knew the details of our wedding inside and out. I truly can’t thank her enough for all she has done <3 Moving onto wedding weekend – we had friends and family stay at the Inn and the Grand Hotel. For anyone thinking the rooms are a little pricey, let me tell you, you get your moneys worth! Everyone thought so! The rooms are luxurious, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Now, for day of – I literally felt like a princess. From the food delivery for lunch for myself and the bridesmaids, to the staff decorating the venue, to Madison making sure every little décor detail was perfect, to Madison and the day of coordinator making sure everything ran smoothly, to the bridal attendant making sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night, etc. I could go on and on. I never had to worry about anything other than getting married to my best friend because the staff took care of everything. We needed wheelchair accommodations, which I was a little concerned about, but BVI delivered. My relative who needed wheelchair accessibility usually has a tough time at weddings but not this one! She was helped by staff for access to the elevator to get to the reception area and had plenty of space to move around the venue and within the bathroom. I also have to add that the food is just delicious. A relative said it was the best filet he’s ever had! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue/team for our big day! It was the BEST day ever and we have BVI, Madison, and the other staff to thank for that. Everything came together better than I even imagined!! All of our guests were so impressed and in awe of the venue. I highly recommend having your wedding at BVI. The venue is timelessly beautiful, the staff is amazing, and you will have the best day, they’ll make sure of it!

I recently had my wedding at the BVI on May 20, 2023 and I can't say enough great things about the venue and staff there. First I would like to start off with if you are thinking about getting married here you NEED Olivia as your wedding coordinator. She is way beyond a Wedding Coordinator and the sweetest most genuine person. She was always prepared and organized for every meeting we had with her, helped walk me through every process and timeline and was always there to answer the most ridiculous questions that my husband and I had for her. She was comforting in the times I needed when plans didn't go as expected. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and I will truly miss talking to her every day! It absolutely down poured on my wedding day in which all of the plans I had for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour had to be organized indoors last minute. As any Bride would be I was beyond upset and Olivia was there to comfort me and ensure my Wedding Day was going to be everything I dreamed of and I can honestly say it was. The BVI staff flipped the room multiple times in which some of my guests had no idea that the plan was to even have anything outside. Every guest had great things to say about all the food. If you have a wedding with over 150 guests I would suggest to get the second bar set up, we didn't and I regretted it after. The only reason I am giving the Venue 4 stars is due to the accommodations for getting ready the day of your Wedding. It can be a bit hectic given there is a lot of moving parts. You have to move from the Grand hotel over to the Venue in which the staff did an amazing job of helping myself and all my guests move their belongings. There is a room they provide the Bride and the Bridesmaids to get ready in but it is a bit small and they don't allow outside food and beverage, purchasing from the BVI is extremely expensive and the portions are very small. Once your hotel room is ready you then have to move anything you have with you for getting ready into the hotel room which can also just be an added stress. Nothing that ruined my day but just something to be aware of! There was no designated area for the Groom and Groomsmen to get ready aside from spending additional money on a hotel room at the Grand in which we did not want to do. Olivia and the staff made sure that a room at the BVI would be ready early enough for the groomsmen to have a space which I very much appreciated! And although it was down the hall from where I was getting ready I did not see the Groom once.

Molly Brennan—what an incredible wedding coordinator and all-around amazing person. We exchanged tons of emails back and forth in the year and a half that we planned our wedding at Bedford Village Inn. Every detail no matter how minuscule, every question that I could think of that would keep me up at night, she had a quick and thorough answer to. She was there when we first toured the venue, she was there throughout all of the planning, and she was there the whole weekend to help set up our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and post-wedding breakfast. She made our wedding absolutely perfect!Bedford Village Inn checked all of the boxes for us. An all-inclusive venue was a requirement for us, and Bedford Village Inn has it all: beautiful and comfortable hotel rooms for guests to stay on site, delicious food (one of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had), and they were able to accommodate ALL of our wedding events on site. On the day of, our Event Manager and Bridal Attendants handled the flow of events, communicated with all of our vendors, and made sure that me and the groom, our parents, and our wedding party were well fed and provided for with refreshments.Bedford Village Inn also offers decorations that you can rent, like drapes, candles, and table numbers. We didn’t need to bring anything to the venue besides our wedding outfits and guestbook. This venue truly took the stress out of wedding planning. We were so taken care of and Molly made us feel like our wedding was the most important event in the world. When I was flustered before the ceremony, I handed her the rest of our tip envelopes and she made sure to distribute them to our vendors. Right before the ceremony on a scorching summer day, Molly used her own shirt to dab my sweaty face before I walked down the aisle. I cannot say enough positive things about Molly and Bedford Village Inn; we look forward to returning for our anniversaries!

We had our dream wedding at BVI. Olivia was absolutely amazing and always made us feel informed and comfortable during the planning process. BVI allowed us to have everything on site. We held the rehearsal dinner in the overlook room at BVI, which was stunning and elegant. All of our guests could not stop complimenting how delicious the food was. All of our friends and family were able to stay at the Grand. We were blown away with how nice the rooms were. Legitimately the nicest hotel room I had ever stayed in. Then came our wedding day. The Wheeler room was the perfect place for the bride and bridal party to get ready. The pictures outside came out great with the beautiful scenery at BVI. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony but out of nowhere it started to rain. The BVI staff flipped over the venue in under 10 minutes and we had an absolutely beautiful ceremony. The food was once again phenomenal. Finally, the rooms at the inn were gigantic and the perfect place for an afterparty. We could not have been happier with our wonderful experience.

“Let’s make that happen” is the response anytime we asked for something or wanted something changed. Our coordinator Olivia made sure that my daughter had the wedding of her dreams. Throughout the event we all felt catered to and special. Our guest raves about the food. Everyone’s meal came out hot, perfectly cooked and amazing. The staff was always kind and willing to help. Everything was perfectly coordinated and organized. If you want to feel pampered, this is the venue for you.

June 30th Bride! I’m not sure where to start for this absolutely incredible experience. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at BVI. Honestly, absolutely everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. The entire process of planning was so easy – made seamless by Madison, our event manager (who is hard-working and very sweet). She was always quick to respond, making communication simple. All aspects of the contract were clearly explained, and the timeline / due dates were easy to follow. The table settings were gorgeous, the drinks were perfect, and the plated meals and their presentation were outstanding. I love that BVI's packages include the linens, plates, silverware, glassware, gratuities, and other fees – we didn’t have to stress about a thing! During the reception, the staff were amazing and kind to everyone, and treated us, literally, like royalty. Our friends and family raved for weeks about how incredible everything was, saying it was the perfect mix of class and unpretentiousness. I cannot recommend this venue, and all of it’s staff, enough. I wish we could host more events there! A million thanks to Madison for giving us an unbelievable day, and memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

I wish I could give this venue 100 stars. From the time we booked in 2020 to when we got married this past Saturday the staff at BVI made getting married not only easy but exciting. My husband, my self our families and guests felt so well taken care of in the day. I give a special thank you to Olivia, Brittany and my bridal attendant Brooke. We had a rainy day for our wedding and my dream was to get married in their garden. The staff went out of their way to set up inside as it was our rain plan but sn hour before the ceremony when the sun peaked out they all hustled to set up the garden so we could have our dream come true. This was more work and stress for them but they did it with grace. They even stayed outside to support us in the last 5 minutes of our ceremony when it began to rain. (Thanks Britney!) That determination and dedication is what makes them so incredible. I always had someone with food/drinks for me (thanks Brooke!). And any/every question I had Olivia was ON TOP of. She responded in minutes day off and hours all the years leading up to the big day. Her presence alone made me feel safe, beautiful and excited. I wish I could find more words to praise the BVI but any more and I will cry. Thank you all again for such an incredible and unforgettable wedding! We will be back. :)

My husband and I got married in the garden at the Grand and had our reception here in the Grand Charolais room on 6/10/23. Our experience was wonderful and we were supported and taken care of from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The outdoor garden is gorgeous, with beautiful new overhead lighting, a tasteful waterfall and beautiful flowers. The Grand Charolais was the perfect size for our smaller wedding and is a beautiful room!It was our wedding coordinator, Madison, who was the absolute best part of our experience. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful to us leading up to and on the day. She did frequent check-ins with us and made everything run so smoothly and efficiently. The team that worked on our night from the bartender to the servers and all other staff, were all so professional and helpful and helped make the night perfect. We are so grateful to the BVI for all of their help in giving us the best wedding day we could have imagined!

Words cannot describe how incredible our wedding was thanks to the Bedford Village Inn and specifically our coordinator Madison. As someone who loves the rustic/outdoor vibe but was not a fan of a barn for my own wedding, the BVI perfectly encompassed “rustic elegance.” The venue itself is just beautiful to the point where we barely brought any additional decorative items because the place spoke for itself. Every inch of the grounds feels classy, unique, and full of character.As for the planning and coordination, we were pleasantly stunned at how the BVI, specifically our coordinator Madison, went above and beyond to make sure every last detail was perfect. Madison was SO organized, attentive, communicative, and professional. She was always thinking of things that would not have ever crossed my mind and guided us when we had questions. She went out of her way to make sure we were accommodated every moment of our weekend. The rest of the stuff including the day of coordinators and booking department were incredible as well. We knew the BVI was something special when we came down to the Great Hall after everything was set up and saw that they had gorgeously supplemented our stations and items with the most gorgeous extra decor from their own collection (for example, for our guest book phone table we only brought the phone and a sign, but they added stunning faux greenery, pilar candles, and a box stand for the phone). There was not a single moment during our weekend where we were concerned, lost, or confused.Thank you BVI and Madison for your hard work in making our day feel like a fairytale!

My husband and I were recently married over Memorial Day Weekend. For the most part it was a lovely experience, however we had one very unfortunate incident that ruined everyone in the wedding party and our family’s morning, and is the reason for the low review. It was completely avoidable and should’ve been rectified by hotel staff faster than it was. The hotel moves guests &their belongings from their Grand hotel to the Inn the day before their wedding. During this process my veil was misplaced by housekeeping. It took hours on the morning of my wedding to figure out what had happened to my veil and my morning was unnecessarily chaotic. Because the room move happened the day before my wedding, this problem was avoidable. My veil had my name and information clearly attached to the duster. It should have been noted by hotel staff upon check in that my husband and I were the bride and groom. It is not a large hotel and this kind of oversight and lack of attention to detail is unacceptable. On the morning of your wedding there is only so much time in the day and it was unsatisfactory how the staff handled the entire situation. The hotel staff were not very helpful with accelerating the search for my veil until my coordinator came in around 9ish. At that point, it had already been over 2 hours of high emotion and chaos trying to understand what happened during the move. Then, “all of a sudden” around 11am, my veil appeared & was miraculously in lost and found. I still to this day do not understand why lost and found wasn’t immediately checked by their staff, but it wasn’t. The hotel moves your ‘tagged’ belongings from one room to another on their property, but I am not sure what their policy is for untagged items. It should’ve been brought to housekeeping’s attention that the room was occupied by a bride and groom & one would think to hopefully pay closer attention to something that may have accidentally not been ‘tagged’ and left behind. After the incident my husband and I contacted the General Manager Tom and Director of Lodging Candace to discuss the matter, they are two of the most unprofessional individuals I have dealt with. They made comments like “it was only a few hours,” which was insensitive to the fact that they day goes by in the blink of an eye. They lack any basic customer service on how to deal with people, they did not care about what had happened.Other than Olivia the wedding coordinator, no one at the hotel seemed to have urgency to want to help resolve the matter of my veil on the morning of my wedding. Candace and Tom take no responsibility for the chaos that ensued that morning, even though it was their staff, and Candace continued to remind me that it was only a ‘few hours.’ However, your wedding morning is only a few hours.. I wouldn’t recommend this venue.

Bedford Village Inn is truly an incredible venue option for your wedding or event. I had my wedding in the Charolais Room at the Grand Hotel on 4/22/2023 and we had our Rehearsal Dinner in the Overlook Room the night before. The entire experience, from touring, to planning, to set up on the day of, exceeded my already high expectations. We worked with Madison, who was honestly incredible. She is warm and welcoming, and has a way of making you feel comfortable and confident in your decision making. They work with you on all aspects of your day, and ensure everyone is on the same page. As a type A bride who wants control of everything, having my wedding at the BVI truly allowed me to enjoy the weekend. Imagine showing up to your wedding weekend, and being able to fully relax and immerse yourself fully in the moment, knowing everything is being taken care of to your (and their!) standards. That is the gift BVI gives you. The food and drinks were amazing. The Charolais Room is beautiful, and you need minimal decor. Our ceremony was in the Garden, which was intimate, private, and serene. I cannot recommend Bedford Village Inn enough.

The Bedford Village Inn was even better than I could have imagined in so many ways. I can't say enough how gorgeous this venue was for our January wedding, or how much we loved our planner, Molly. Months later and people are still talking about what a beautiful venue it was and how delicious all the food was. Molly was super responsive and made us feel so taken care of. She had brilliant suggestions from the bakery we ended up using for our cake (honestly, the best cake I have ever had) and the string trio we hired for our on-site ceremony, to the more intricate details like our day of timeline and arranging our first look. Molly even helped fluff my train before I walked down the aisle, along with the other wonderful attendants they made available to me that day. Everything went so smoothly and I didn’t need to worry about a thing. We also had our rehearsal dinner on-site at Cork's Wine Bar and the wedding party was all able to stay on-site, taking away any potential travel stress for the actual wedding. Our pictures in the Milk Room honestly look like a beautiful watercolor painting, as if it all were a dream. I can’t recommend Bedford Village Inn, and Molly, enough.

My biggest comment is wow!Our experience leading up to our wedding was great. We worked with Madison, and she was professional, helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind. You can tell she loves what she does, as it shows in her commitment to making couples happy. From our first tour, to our tasting, to the final detail appointments, and even our wedding day, Madison was there to make sure we were happy and taken care of.Our wedding went off perfectly. Having seen the venue and tasted the food at BVI, we had high expectations, and the team went above and beyond those expectations.Due to weather, our ceremony was moved from outside to inside, but it was beautifully set up.After our ceremony, our wedding party was greeted in the milk room with cocktails and the appetizers our guests were also enjoying. I know a lot of brides and grooms don’t get to try their cocktail hour apps, not at BVI! Our party was 10 (including our families) and we were brought a constant flow of delicious food.Our server also made sure we all had plenty of drinks through our photo session. The weather cleared enough for us to get outside for pictures, and the grounds are beautiful. We even got some cool fog effects in one location, as I believe the venue had laundry going in the basement. How cool!BVI has in house chefs, and a decent selection of meals to offer. We selected the herb roasted chicken, the roasted sirloin, and the trio of grains as the vegetarian option. Dinner was delicious, and the chef makes the extra effort to accommodate all food allergies and preferences. Our guests were so thankful to be not just accommodated, but to be well and truly taken care of. Nobody left hungry.The staff was pleasant and professional. You can tell they genuinely cared and wanted to make sure our day was special. They even left a few surprises for us in the bridal suite, which I won’t give away!I guess what I’m trying to say is this: if you’re looking for the perfect venue, BVI should be the top of your list.

My husband, family, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how our wedding turned out at the Bedford Village Inn! All of the staff went above and beyond to make our day extra special and they were extremely attentive to each of our guests, especially our families and our wedding party. We felt supported each step of the way - our wedding coordinator Madison was super responsive and answered all of our questions in the months leading up to our wedding. Both the rehearsal dinner (which we also held at the Bedford Village Inn) and the day of the wedding couldn't have been smoother (not only for us as the bridge and groom, but for our vendors as well) and there were no hiccups or last minute issues to worry about. We had originally picked this venue because we loved the garden where we held our ceremony, as well as the great hall where we held our reception, in addition to the food being top notch (all of our guests were raving about the cocktail hour appetizers and our main dishes - we chose the chicken and the filet mignon as our two main options). Overall the Bedford Village Inn is a 10 out of 10 as a wedding venue!

My son and daughter-in-law picked this venue for their wedding. Madison was amazing. The place was perfect and many of our guests said it was the best one they've been to in awhile. As mother of the groom, I was planning the Rehearsal dinner. Madison helped us through the entire process, paid attention to every detail, from Rehearsal dinner, to bridal party preparations, and the decorations. Madison was very responsive to calls and emails. I really don't have any complaints. This place is truly a beautiful spot for a wedding.

Your mind will be at ease the weekend of your wedding, because the BVI does an amazing job of setting up decor and communicating with vendors. My husband and I looked at so many venues before stumbling on BVI on The Knot. I was thinking it would be very rusti , which honestly wasn’t the look I wanted but I thought let’s go visit and see. We had been looking for a venue that could be a one stop location- lodging, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and I can tell you we hit the jackpot with BVI. This venue really can accommodate any wedding vision, from rustic, to modern, to boho- it’s stunning. From the first time we visited and met with Madison, our coordinator, we knew it was perfect. The planning process and day of assistance we got from the whole staff was just amazing. It’s like having an additional wedding planner! The day of the wedding was simply perfect- our guests loved staying at the Grand and the convince of the location was exactly what we wanted. The food is also DELICIOUS! All I can say is if you’re looking for a stunning location in New England with amazing staff, BVI is the place for you!!

Used BVI for our daughter's wedding. Pros and Cons below. Overall it was a beautiful day! Enjoyed the venue and food more than the hotel.Pros:- Grounds and venue were beautiful.- Madison, our sales coordinator was very easy to work with. She always made sure to get back to us with answers to our questions.- Wedding food was exceptional. Everyone raved about the appetizers and the salmon entree. Chef worked with us on some dietary restrictions from the wedding party. The dessert table was also really good. Wish I had known that they put some of the desserts out in the hall near the rooms!-Hotel beds were very comfortable. I love having the king beds for all of the rooms.Cons:-You start with a sales coordinator who worked with us for the entire year of our planning. Madison was great to work with and very knowledgeable. On the day of the event, everything gets turned over to another coordinator whom we never even met. At 11am on the day of the wedding, we still had not seen or met Brittney. Didn't see much of her for the rest of the event either. There were a few glitches with this as the wedding arch was not where it was supposed to be and the lanterns were not placed correctly.-There is yet another person you deal with for the hotel rooms. They were not as pleasant and at times, felt like they really didn't want to help. Had a family member with three small kids. Originally I was told that there would be cots and crib. Then when she checked in, they told her that they didn't think they could accommodate that. In the end, they did but I feel it really wasn't necessary to put the guests through all of that. -Rooms at Inn were convenient but many people complained about the water pressure.-My husband and I stayed in the suites outside of the Inn. They were drafty AND noisy! These suites have kitchens but NO microwave or toaster. We had no way of warming up the baby's bottles or our breakfast. Also, you have to ASK to have the heat turned up. We froze the first night, not knowing this.-Food at post wedding breakfast was just ok. Nothing spectacular and there wasn't enough. We had to ask them to replenish, even for coffee! One server for 40 guests.-Lastly, after spending lots of money all weekend, we were charged $4 the next day for a toothbrush!

We fell in love with this venue before we even stepped foot on the property. The charming colonial facade of the buildings welcomes you inside. The stunning architecture of the great hall, meticulously landscaped gardens, and boho chic vibe of the Edison bulbs over the lawn comprise the perfect backdrop for a memorable ceremony and gorgeous pictures. Not to mention the food!! Wedding food usually isn’t very memorable, or if it is, it’s for the wrong reasons. The food was remarkable! Everyone raved about it for weeks. They are also so great about accommodating food allergies, which was great for several of our guests. The facilities were absolutely incredible. We were blown away by the service and care provided in the Grand. We received complimentary champagne upon check-in, polite and efficient service from the bellhop, and a complimentary room move of our belongings on the day of our wedding to the Inn. The modern yet cozy feel of the grand suites was absolutely amazing. We almost didn’t want to leave for the inn! The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious. Once we moved over to the Inn, we appreciated the charming, antique touches throughout the room. The facilities were incredible–we loved the extra bathroom and plenty of space to spread out and also relax in between photos. The balconies make for great photo shoots and the walk in closet was greatly appreciated! We even received a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate cake! Worth every penny!!What was most memorable for us at BVI were the staff. From the moment we began planning our wedding with Olivia to the day of coordination with Brittany and even our personal attendant Griffin, we were completely blown away with the professionalism, graciousness, accommodation, and flexibility of every single person we came in contact with. Everyone worked so diligently to ensure that our day was absolutely perfect and it was!! The staff work so well together, like an oiled machine. Though it looked like it was going to rain, Brittany had her staff set up chairs outside and we were able to have our ceremony outside just in time to miss a passing shower. She had her phone opened to the weather radar for an hour to make our ceremony just as we had planned. Brittany was also incredible during the wedding, attending to anything we needed. Griffin, our personal attendant, was charming and funny. We so appreciated him! Leading up to our wedding, we had a lot of last minute guest list changes and Olivia was so flexible in providing us several solutions. Her affirmations, assurances, and optimistic demeanor were everything a couple needs leading up to their wedding. We can’t say enough good things about everyone who works at Bedford Village inn!Do not think twice about booking your wedding at BVI! It is worth every penny!!

Our wedding at the Bedford Village Inn on Saturday, July 30, 2022 was pure MAGIC. How BVI made our dreams come true: 1) THE SCENERY. A dreamy garden - elegant and chic with touches of warm rustic notes. 2) OLIVIA. Hands down the greatest wedding planner you could imagine. It’s like she’s out of the movies! She had an answer to every question but balanced it with warmth and kindness. 3) THE FOOD. We’re still getting compliments on that filet. 4) THE RELATIONSHIPS. BVI is a well-oiled machine with incredible vendor ties. Choose off the Preferred Vendor list when you can - it pays off! 5) ONE STOP SHOP. The entire wedding weekend was on the grounds of BVI. It made it SO easy for our guests. I hope you’re able to have your dream wedding at the Bedford Village Inn! You won’t regret it.

During our planning process Olivia was there to answer every question and ease every worry. Molly and the group booking team were also fantastic and responded so quickly to our emails and calls. On the day of our wedding Olivia and the team went above and beyond to ensure our day was flawless allowing us to truly enjoy our day without any stress. The set up team took our decorations and extra flowers from my florist to go above and beyond to create little moments of detail. We recently had our wedding reception at the Bedford Village Inn and could not have asked for a more beautiful backdrop for our winter wedding. Through the planning process, our event coordinator, Olivia was responsive and helpful will all the details. On the day of, the staff took care of setting up all the décor and coordinating deliveries with vendors. My husband and I didn’t have much time to enjoy the appetizers during cocktail hour so one of the servers offered to bring a sample of each to the sweetheart for us! Overall, the food and service was phenomenal. Our guests had a wonderful time and were so impressed with the Great Hall. We plan to make trips back to stay there for anniversary celebrations in the future!

My husband and I just had our wedding at the BVI in March 2022 and we’re very happy with our experience! Olivia is a seasoned pro and was great, Madison filled in during our wedding week and she was so sweet, attentive and picked right up where we left off with Olivia.The food was great - “ best Caesar salad ever” and the passed apps were plentiful. The bartenders were also incredible, making fun drinks and kept the line moving. You do not need a lot of DIY - a few place cards, table numbers (hit up Anne’s Florals for some garland and dealing) the space is so beautiful and doesn’t need much! Guests also noted the waitstaff were incredibly polite and helpful. Also having the Inn rooms in the same building as the reception hall is so convenient for older guests, adults with disabilities or even children. They can go to bed a little earlier and be safe and close by. The BVI also has so many areas (indoor and outdoor) for pictures. It rained and snowed on our wedding and we were still able to get some great shots! Don’t sleep on the winter wedding! A side note IMO the rooms at the Inn and the Grand are both beautiful and reasonable (especially in today’s wedding market) and there is only a one night minimum but every wedding has the budget minded guest. Contact Saundra from the Country Inn & Suites. They can arrange two 12 people shuttles, accept welcome bags and will create a room block for you. The only critique was that the tasting cost over $200 per couple. I could totally see charging for alcohol, additional guests but when you’re paying tens of thousands of dollars for a wedding… throw in a tasting. We chose not to do one and went with what we would like and the guests still raved over the food.

We hosted my Bridal Shower here in the “Overlook Room” in August 2021. We were so incredibly happy with the entire experience from start to finish. The event coordinator, Olivia, was extremely valuable and made the planning process very easy! BVI staff member Jennifer was also extremely helpful on the day of, making sure everything ran smoothly. We hosted a brunch for our guests, and the breakfast buffet was incredible! We even added an omelet station on, and our guests loved it! The wait and bar staff were very attentive, and the cupcakes that we had for dessert were out of this world! It was the perfect space for our number of guests, and the general atmosphere is so perfect the space hardly needed any extra decorations! We would highly recommend BVI for any event! We considered BVI for our wedding venue but they were already booked!

Where do I begin? Bedford Village Inn was the only place my husband and I toured as a potential wedding venue because from the moment we walked in we knew it was the one. For starters the beauty of the grounds, the guest rooms, and Great Hall are obviously breathtaking, romantic, and dreamy. However, beyond all of this what made our experience so magical was our wedding coordinator Olivia. Of course she was knowledgeable, creative, helpful, organized, and professional but Olivia felt like family from the start and that made the lasting impression. She was there to answer all of my little/silly questions along the way with a smile. Most importantly, she was there with a calmness and confidence when the weather turned leading up to the wedding ultimately raining on our day. Olivia, along with the day of manager Brittany, were so flexible coordinating with us to make last minute changes and I never felt pressured or stressed. I am so glad we chose BVI to host our special day, as well as our rehearsal dinner. Everything and everyone were so amazing through and through. Oh, and while it did rain we luckily ended up with a rainbow!

The BVI hosted our October 2020 rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, and we were so beyond happy with every moment of it. We booked almost 2 years prior and of course the thought of covid never crossed our minds at that time, but the staff we worked with made the whole process as stress-free as they possibly could have. Olivia and Melissa worked with us most closely, and they were constantly on top of keeping us informed, giving us options and supporting whatever we chose to do, and working to accommodate our vendors. They were so patient and positive through everything. When a new restriction came up the week of the wedding, they were calling/facetiming/emailing pictures, etc. to let us know exactly how things would need to be changed and to make sure we were happy. When it came to the wedding day, we were so supported by the day-of coordinators who also went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The reception staff even handled a rowdy guest situation so professionally that the groom and I had no idea anything had ever happened. Despite all the unexpected that came along with covid, our rehearsal dinner and reception were everything we dreamed of and more thanks to this beautiful place and the staff who are so invested in making your day perfect and making you feel as though you're the only couple they're focused on. BVI was the perfect wedding venue and their team created such a special event for us in just under 6 weeks! Getting married in 2020 was full of twists and turns, and when faced with stricter guidelines in MA my husband and I decided to relocate to NH. We discovered BVI and signed our contract the night of our first meeting with Brianna George. Throughout the entire process Brianna was extremely helpful, organized and communicative in our planning. She was extremely patient through all of our questions and details (we had to fit a lot in 6 weeks!). The property itself is perfect and lends itself to a \"weekend wedding\" - all of our guests stayed on property, we held our Rehearsal Dinner at the Grand, used the Spa and had a post-wedding breakfast at the Tavern. Our guests loved being on property and made everything super convenient. The reception was perfection, everything stuck to schedule and the food and drink were spectacular! I couldn't recommend BVI enough and we're SO glad to get married at BVI!

Bedford Village Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is breathtakingly gorgeous (especially during foliage peak season), reasonably priced, and includes everything you might possibly want or need right on property. The staff at BVI were amazing to work with from beginning to end ensuring our day was as seamless and stress-free as possible, which is not an easy task in the midst of a pandemic. They were very accommodating with our situation in regards to rescheduling/re-planning our wedding 3 times prior at a different venue due to COVID-19. Everyone we encountered there was professional, attentive, and focused on making our wedding the best it could be. If you have Brianna as your event coordinator, know you are in great hands. Not only responsive and caring, but she thought of and accounted for every detail even I didn't think of. She made it her personal goal that everything was exactly as we had envisioned. Our bridal assistant, Brittney was also wonderful- she made sure we had everything we needed, checked in with us just enough without being overbearing, and packed up all of our belongings/décor at the end of the night. Thank you BVI for allowing us to finally have the wedding we have always dreamt of. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

We had to change our date along with the location and booked BVI a month before our wedding. I had the most easygoing experience planning a whole new wedding in a months time thanks to Melissa, Molly and Marlena. BVI has their weddings down pat. They know what they're doing! The location is perfect for a wedding. We had the rehearsal dinner here as well and every last detail was perfect. Food is phenomenal. Overall amazing experience, I HIGHLY recommend Bedford Village Inn!

We chose BVI back in Jan 2019 for what was supposed to be our May 2020 wedding. Obviously with COVID we have had to postpone, and not once but TWICE. All along BVI has been so supportive and accommodating. Their responsiveness has been incredible and they have truly done everything in their power to make sure we are feeling good and still excited about our big day. We ended up eloping back in May at home but look forward to celebrating with the BVI on our new date in 2021. I would highly recommend working with them.

We have not even had our wedding yet and I felt compelled to write a review for the BVI. We were supposed to get married on May 16th but, due the Corona Virus, we had to postpone to November. The past few weeks have been stressful, sad and overwhelming to say the least. The team at BVI has made everything SO much easier. Nicolette has always been so helpful and responsive and now has dealt with my anxiety-filled emails/calls and secured our new date as soon as she could. Many of our guests had rooms booked at the Inn and the Grand. Once our new date was confirmed, the Group Bookings team (Candace, in particular), got right to work! They emailed all those guests, informed them the wedding was being postponed and offered to move their reservation or cancel and send a refund if needed. I am SO grateful for the BVI team helping us navigate this difficult time. This whole experience has only made me more excited for our wedding and solidified our decision to get married at BVI!

Like many other newly engaged couples we figured we would be hitting the circuit: touring a handful of venues, listening to multiple pitches, and enjoying all of the spoils that come along the way. That was the plan anyhow, but like Iron Mike Tyson once said, “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” We visited the Bedford Village Inn (BVI) and it punched us in the mouth! The BVI was the first venue we visited and as it turned out it was also the last. The plan went out the window, but so too did any hesitation or reservations that we could have had. From the stone steps up through the inviting entryway, to the wooden columns and beams accented by rustic chandeliers, your eyes will bounce around until they land on the grand arrangement of windows that tie it all together. The charm of this place grabbed a hold of us and would not let go. As we walked around we could not help but envision that special day and what it would look like. The BVI had everything we could possibly need and the best part was that it was all in one place. There was no need to arrange for additional transportation or lodging because nobody had to go anywhere! The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, and even the farewell brunch; all held on site. At the end of the day the venue really speaks for itself, but the thing that truly sets the BVI apart is the team that makes it all happen. From the jump we were made to feel like we mattered and each and every step of the way we were reminded of that through the actions and communication of the wonderful people that work here. Everyone that we encountered had a pleasant attitude and their efforts to ensure that our wedding day went off without a hitch will always be remembered. We’d like to single out a few people who we worked with the most as they left lasting impressions.It was an honor and a privilege to work with Nicolette and we are extremely appreciative of her guidance along the way. Now that we have officially made it through to the other side, we can both agree that planning a wedding is like putting together a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle. However, the biggest and most challenging difference being that no one hands you a box containing the exact number of perfectly-fitting pieces that you’ll need to assemble to create the finished product. Freedom of choice is great and all, but can also be extremely overwhelming given the myriad of options that exist out there. For us, it was like Nicolette was sitting at the table right there with us as we tried to find the right puzzle pieces. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table and encouraged us to lean on her if/when we needed direction or assistance with anything. We cannot imagine having planned this wedding without Nicolette by our side and we hope she knows that the puzzle wouldn’t have come out the way it did (perfect!) without her. Thank you Nicolette!The BVI will always hold a special place in our hearts and we’re forever grateful to the venue and the staff for helping us to create a lifetime of memories. We’re already looking forward to visiting again in the future!

My husband and I got married at the BVI on NYE and we may be biased, but aesthetically it was the most beautiful wedding we’ve ever been to. Between the beautiful Harrington flowers we had all over, tons of gold sequin & decor from Dee’s Linens, a midnight balloon drop and champagne toast, the night was seriously unforgettable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, winter wonderland wedding, look no further. Our friends and family were appalled by how beautiful the venue was and how the BVI truly is like it’s own little Christmas town. We did our rehearsal dinner at the BVI as well and it was SO much fun to have friends and family bustling all around the venue, Inn, and hotel all dressed up like we owned the whole place. If you’re looking for a venue that has EVERYTHING on site (which is exactly what we wanted) the BVI works perfectly. Between a beautiful hotel for family (The Grand), The Inn for the wedding party, the venue itself, The Tavern for drinks during some down time, The Overlook room for the rehearsal dinner, the apartments for the rehearsal after-party (if you’re like us haha), and a salon to get ready in with your girls- it’s literally PERFECT. We had our wedding party stay in The Inn and they thought it was so cool how they could walk to each other’s room so easily and could look down at our venue decorated to the nines. Not to mention the food is unbelievable. We got multiple comments on our wedding having the best food of any wedding people had been to. One person even mentioned it was the best filet they’d ever had. The next day 30 person brunch is sweet too, and definitely beneficial if you do an open bar and people need fuel the next day ha!A few downsides we faced- we got word quite a few people had to wait at The Inn front desk for a long time before anyone helped them (after ringing the bell) and often forgot to give them their complimentary champagne. If you’re looking to negotiate prices with a venue, this might not be the venue for you- it’s their way or no way. We loved the venue too much to turn it down due to this, but there is no negotiating. We had an issue with wanting to rent out the entire Inn and apartment suites for both nights- rehearsal and wedding, and due to the BVIs change in employment, they booked out an apartment to a random couple and wouldn’t budge when we wanted this taken care of (this was on the night of the wedding so was kind of a major bummer).Aside from a few complaints, I am SO glad we chose the BVI as our NYE wedding venue. I would send Nicolette super long emails with tons of questions and she would get back to me very timely and thoroughly. She was great! She also worked so diligently with us on special requests- making a balloon drop at midnight happen, sparklers as guests exit, and timing the midnight champagne toast up perfectly. Overall, we had such a spectacular NYE wedding/ party at the BVI!

Bedford Village Inn was, hands down, the most perfect venue for our winter wedding. We wanted a venue where everything was on-site - lodging for our guests, space for a rehearsal dinner, a place for guests to eat breakfast or lunch while there for the weekend, etc., and BVI truly had it all. In addition, the Great Hall is absolutely breathtaking in the winter months with the holiday decor and coziness. Brianna, our wedding coordinator, was the absolute BEST and assisted with all of our questions and ideas in the months/year leading up to our wedding day. She then worked closely with our day-of coordinator, Shannon, to ensure the day itself was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, we wouldn't have changed a thing about our experience with BVI. Also, we ended up using their recommended vendors for both our florist and DJ, and were so happy we did.

I was less than impressed with BVI. First, it was difficult to schedule a tour as Brianna told me she was only available 10-4 during the week and most Saturdays were not possible due to events. This was tough for our schedule but she was kind enough to stay until 5 on a weekday so my fiancé and I left work early at 3 to be there at 5. It poured rain, the traffic was horrendous, and it took us over 2 hours to drive 30 miles. When I called and emailed Brianna to say we would be 15 minutes late, she replied that she doesn’t work past 5 but would leave us a brochure and we could walk through the facilities ourselves. Seriously? Not what we took time off work and drove 2 hours for. Also didn’t leave a great impression as to how her and her staff would handle our wedding. This was our first time looking at a venue and it turned what should’ve been a fun and exciting experience into a disappointing disaster. After we took our “self-guided” tour, she never followed up. Felt like we weren’t a priority since we were having a smaller winter wedding and therefore less $$$. I also wasn’t impressed with the facilities. While the main hall is beautiful, the hotel feels old and the advertised outdoor “patio” for cocktail hour is tiny with a view of the parking lot. We decided to go with Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA, which is by far more beautiful and the staff could not be more attentive and accommodating. For those of you looking for a similar type venue at the same price point, check out Willowdale.

Brianna, Shannon, and the whole team at the BVI were great to work with and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The location itself can't be beat for beauty and coziness—when we walked in the first time, while still scouting locations, my now-husband and I knew immediately it was the perfect place for our wedding. With all that said, it's certainly not an inexpensive location, so we were fortunate to be able to make it work. I'm so glad we chose the BVI, and it truly felt like the perfect wedding. :)

The BVI was such a beautiful and romantic setting, and the staff there are real pros. Everything during the weekend went off without a hitch, and they were responsive/concerned about making sure I was happy with everything and informed. Melissa was incredibly responsive and guided us through the whole process 2 yrs out from our date, answering any question no matter how general or specific. We had our rehearsal dinner in the overlook room and found it just so convenient for our guests to have all activities localized to the property (versus busing people here and there). We had welcome gathering at the Grande lobby bar, and this was great too, but did feel a little tight at times. The FOOD is OUTSTANDING here.. our guests complimented us nonstop saying the filet was steakhouse quality and \"this is the best wedding food we've ever had.\" If you want to be taken care of, you are on excellent hands here. It is a bit costly but you get what you pay for!

If you're looking for a romantic garden venue that makes your wedding everything you dreamed, but also way easier than you could hope for, this venue is it. Working with Brianna was amazing. She was organized and coordinated, and the venue did all of the set up and break down for you--a life saver! We had a bunch of family from out of town, so the hotel on-site was key, as was the salon. Brianna had everything down every step of the way, and was always willing to work with us on whatever we wanted, which was great peace of mind. The day-of coordinator and bridal assistant made the wedding ceremony and reception seamless and amazing. The Bedford Village Inn clearly does weddings often, and they will make your dream day come true. They did for me!

I cannot recommend the Bedford Village Inn enough!! We had our wedding there a few weeks ago and when I say they thought of everything, they thought of EVERYTHING. We worked with Nicolette throughout the planning process and between her and our day of coordinator Shannon, everything was exactly how we imagined and more! When you spend as much time and effort planning as we did, it's nice to see your venue is just as thoughtful with their execution. Absolutely AMAZING!!

Stay far away. I am the groom and I had the cops called on me by their “head of security” for being a pot head. I’ve never smoked marijuana in my life. Video of the incident to follow. I’ve never been more disrespected by anyone in my life than on my own wedding day. The cops showed up and said don’t worry this happens “all the time” with the BVI. When a sober cop and multiple physician friends tried to talk to the security guard, he offered no explanation. I was told later one of my guests may have been smoking marijuana outside. No one told me this but instead they just called the police on me. When I signed my contract I was told the inn including the “milk room” was ours for the entirety of the night. Instead because of a drug incident weeks prior, you have to be in your rooms. If the wedding coordInator like in our case, states you can use the room for pizza etc at night do not believe it unless you want to risk being in handcuffs. On top of which, the bridal attendant and coordinator, aka Shannon, was extremely rude to the mother of the bride and the brides maids and were absentee the rest of the night “because we were mean to her.” Now weeks later everyone at work (I’m a medical resident) is only talking about the cops and not the fact we got married. I talked to the GM and the owner about these issues and the Arrogant GM just said I was lying essentially. The owner was very pleasant but on the other hand got fed false information about how his staff did no wrong and it was my guests fault that they mistreated me and my wife on our wedding day. Please stay away as it seems great leading up to the wedding but you may just be another victim of the cops being called on you on your wedding day.

Having our wedding here was AMAZING. Nicolette and Marlena were so helpful in the lead up process, making sure everything was taken care of and keeping things as stress free for myself and my husband. Day of the staff was so helpful and kind and Shannon helped coordinate all the timeline and vendors seamlessly so that we could enjoy the day not have to worry about the details. The food was to die for and we really loved having so many options to choose from to make the menu our own. I cannot recommend the BVI enough, it was truly a magical time.

The Bedford Village Inn was the best wedding venue I could have chosen. Nicolette the wedding coordinator was so helpful in answering my questions and helped me plan the wedding of my dreams. The bridal attendants kept me at ease the day of my wedding and helped the bridal party and I navigate where and when we needed to be places. I cannot thank the Bedford Village Inn enough.

I can't say enough good things about this venue. From the beginning, Nicolette was patient and responsive. This is not an inexpensive venue, however, the quality and service is what you pay for.From the start our guests were impressed with the BVI. The service, day of, was amazing. I literally did not lift a finger all day, Shannon and Marlena were on top of everything. Both were very positive and they put myself and my husband at ease all day long. We received compliments on the food all night and the following day. Unfortunately, we only got to eat a small portion of our dinner and it was thrown out before we had a chance to finish. Another slight negative was the bar closed a bit earlier than expected causing the party to come to a halt early. Both of the above negatives are very slight in comparison to the absolute professionalism of everyone at the BVI, from our amazing coordinators to the waitstaff. We highly recommend BVI for anyone getting married, you will be in great hands.

We celebrated our daughter's intimate family wedding on May 4, 2019 at The Grand. We could not have been more impressed with the team there -- making sure everything was just perfect. From the preplanning, to the check-in and extra housekeeping, to the care and attention while we got ready in the Bridal Suite, to the event itself, the team worked together like a beautiful symphony to ensure the most wonderful and memorable evening. Thank you to those who oversaw the wedding, preserved the cake top and the decorative flowers, and even helped us pack up. We all left with a big smile!

Bedford Village Inn is a dream wedding venue! If you want convenience for your guests, you can host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on the same site, but in different areas to keep it interesting. (You could even host your rehearsal dinner here if you’d like!) The property is beautiful and well kept. My fiancé and I did not want a barn wedding or a ballroom wedding- but we wanted something in between, BVI was the perfect match! We have been calling it “rustic chic”:) Brianna, our planning coordinator at the BVI, is amazing. She is professional, kind, and thoughtful about her work. The food at the BVI is amazing— we did the buffet stations and our guests could not stop talking about how remarkable the food was. The brunch the morning after was also amazing! The wait staff were diligent and on top of EVERYTHING. When my husband and I were eating, Ashley (a member of the wait staff) stood by our table and kindly asked guests to give us a moment to eat. It helped my husband and I not look like the bad guys-everyone at the BVI was willing to help in any way they possibly could to make our wedding day a dream come true. Finally, the hotel rooms are luxurious and cozy. I cannot say enough positive things about the BVI. My husband and I will be returning year after year for our anniversaries!

I don’t think i’ll be able to put into words just how spectacular this wedding venue is! We worked with Brianna George who was absolutely amazing! Brianna was so personable and professional, it was truly a pleasure working with her. My husband and I fell in love with this place instantly. We made a weekend out of it, having the rehearsal dinner there and then staying the beautiful Grand hotel next door. We danced the night away at our wedding then had an after party in one the suites at the Inn. It’s awesome having your wedding party stay at the Inn because you have the entire place to yourselves. The day after the wedding we all had breakfast in the tavern and then some guests even stayed and we hung out in the outdoor salt water hot tub back at the Grand hotel. We got married in February and I never thought I wanted a winter wedding but after researching dozens of places and realizing how expensive places are, we decided to book the Bedford Village Inn. They give you such good deals and you get a lot for your money. All of our guests are still raving how nice this place is! Do yourselves a favor and check this place out! You will not be disappointed!!

We had our wedding on September 28, 2018 at the Bedford Village Inn and it truly was the most amazing night of our lives, largely due to the effort by the BVI and their wonderful staff. From the very first tour, I was extremely impressed by the level of service, attention to detail and work the BVI was willing to put in to make your wedding exactly what we had in mind. Nicolette was our wedding coordinator throughout the planning process and she is absolutely incredible. We happened to be getting married the same weekend as her so we had some help from other staff members during the event (all of this we knew far in advance) and no one missed a beat. They set up absolutely everything, were attentive to us throughout the weekend, and made the event a night we will never, ever forget. They completely managed the event for us from a coordination standpoint, but even the little things stood out to us like giving us champagne as soon as we walked down the aisle after our ceremony, following us around with appetizers during the cocktail hour, gathering my bouquet and our cake topper and placing them in our room so we wouldn't forget them. On top of everything, we received and are still receiving compliments about how gorgeous the venue was and how wonderful the food was. I can't say enough about this wonderful venue and their staff. You will not regret booking with them, and the icing on the cake is that you can always go back to stay and celebrate your anniversary! Thank you for everything Nicolette and BVI Staff!!

BVI exceeded our expectations for our wedding in every way! From our first tour of the venue a year and a half ago to our wedding on 10/12/18 BVI, especially Nicolette, was very responsive to all questions leading up to the day. The staff the day of the wedding were very attentive and professional and made sure the venue looked beautiful to celebrate our wedding day! All guests complemented how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was!

Out of all of the venues we visited, the Bedford Village inn was, by far, the best option for us. We loved the gardens, the inn, the food, and the fact EVERYTHING you need is on site! Hotel, hair and make-up, day of coordinator and practically everything in between. They went above and beyond to make our day everything it should have been. We worked with two different coordinators (one left) and both were responsive, kind, and so helpful. If you get Brianna as your coordinator, you’ll be in great hands. All of the staff were great and it’s all so beautiful. They all truly pay attention to details and it makes a difference. It’s definitely not cheap but it is worth the money in our opinion! We originally wanted to get married Labor Day Weekend but it was pre-booked TWO YEARS IN ADVANCE! WE chose a different date a week earlier. If this is your top choice, don’t delay! We would 100% recommend it!

We wish we could give The Bedford Village Inn (BVI) more stars! My husband and I got married on July 1st 2018 and the staff at the BVI made us feel so well taken care of on our wedding day! We knew we were in the best of hands which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day with our family and friends. We could not have planned our wedding without Melissa Samaras!!! She was a complete godsend: patient (no question was ever too small), accessible (always made herself available and was quick to respond), flexible (went the extra mile to make sure our needs were met), knowledgeable (provided great guidance as we planned our multicultural wedding), professional (great at her job and a complete pleasure to work with)! Planning a wedding can be hard work and Melissa was incredibly helpful over the almost 10 months of planning. The venue itself is beautiful and the grounds and rooms are well taken care of. The BVI was the perfect choice for us and our wedding day really exceeded our expectations. We are so appreciative of the support of the entire BVI staff!

We had our wedding at the BVI on June 3, 2018. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Brianna George and Nicolette Spehar were both absolutely amazing to work with. They were wonderful from the start beginning with our tour of the venue, to our food tasting, to our final detail meetings and to our wedding! They were so professional, helpful, organized and genuinely happy to help plan our wedding day. Brianna was so thoughtful and attentive throughout the entire process. Nicolette even came to see me walk down the aisle on her day off. She was so calming right before I walked down the aisle! The venue is beautiful. The wait staff and bridal attendant Sarah were fabulous and so attentive. Give all these ladies a raise, they deserve it! Thank you to the BVI, Brianna, Nicolette and Sarah! Also Diane in group bookings was wonderful to work with. She deserves a raise too! We can’t wait to return to spend the night for our wedding anniversary, hopefully even sooner!

Bedford Village Inn was the best selection for our wedding venue. Our appointment to see it for the first time was when it was under two feet of snow and the second I drove into the parking lot I knew it was the place! Melissa was so incredible, her attention to detail made me (who wants to make sure I have thought of every last detail) relax and enjoy the process. Everything from the tour of the property to the tasting to dropping off our items the week of the wedding went seamlessly. Our guests are still talking about the cocktail hour in the garden, the speciality cocktails, the incredible food, the brunch the next morning and the staff who were so kind and so accommodating and just the property overall. They also took special care of a family member in a wheelchair who needed special access to the garden and a bathroom, as well as our guests with food allergies. We were also in awe of how accommodating they were for Dan and I. They got my veil and clips back to the room, helped us check in, had a wonderful dessert, champagne and pieces of our wedding cake waiting for us in our room after the wedding ended. We also had a congratulations note from our bridal attendant which was such a special surprise.Bedford Village Inn is the most warm and welcoming venue, I cannot wait to go back for an anniversary trip! :)
