We were absolutely delighted with our daughter's wedding reception at the Beechwood. Bette Ann and Paula were incredible to work with. They were kind, thoughtful, helpful, and professional. Not only did they help us plan the entire event, but they were present throughout the evening to make sure every detail was perfect. Bette Ann worked with us for months as we planned the wedding reception. She was prompt, responsive, knowledgeable, thorough, and warm. Bette Ann made the entire process a very positive experience. Paula the catering manager was wonderful, as well. Paula helped orchestrate the flow of the evening's events so that the evening was flawless. Bette Ann and Paula were genuinely interested in making the evening perfect for our daughter and her (now) husband. We were overwhelmed by their kindness, thoughtfulness, flexibility, and wonderful attention to detail. They made the entire event memorable for our daughter, her new husband, the wedding party, and all of our guests. I cannot say enough about how hard Bette Ann and Paula worked and how much we appreciate all that they did to make the day perfect. The venue itself is lovely. We had perfect weather for our cocktail hour on the beautiful outside terrace. We enjoyed the transition into the ballroom for dinner and dancing. And the food was even better than we'd hoped. We had very high expectations and the Beechwood exceeded them. The hors d 'overs were delicious, the filets and chicken breasts were perfectly prepared, and the lemon sorbet was incredible. We received countless compliments from our guests about the venue and the delicious food. Even our \"foodie\" friends were impressed! We loved every minute of our experience with the Beechwood-- from the planning to the execution of the evening, and everything in between-- everything was flawless! We would highly recommend the Beechwood for a lovely wedding reception in Worcester!

The very best in customer service, hospitality, food, event rooms, hotel rooms, prices, and fun! A beautiful, unique property with free parking! We loved everything about working with this venue, and so did our guests. They organized and orchestrated a perfect wedding reception, hotel room block, and post-wedding reception brunch for us in less than a month. Hire them for a great experience and a great wedding!

We had our wedding reception here 8/25/18 and our party and guests stayed over as well. We worked with Erin Kutz who was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. She was so helpful during the planning process! All the staff the day of were incredibly accommodating and my family loves them! The venue is hall and grounds are beautiful for a classy wedding! We just went back for our anniversary and plan to again next year. We couldn’t be happier to have had our reception at the Beechwood Hotel!

Deciding to have our wedding reception at the Beechwood Hotel was one of the best choices my husband and I made for our wedding day! The space itself is beautiful, from the lobby, to the ballroom, to the hotel rooms, to the restaurant. But what makes it even better is everyone working so hard to make your special day perfect! The whole staff was INCREDIBLE! Erin (the Director of Social Events) was prompt in responding to all our inquiries, very detail-oriented, and always clear and kind. She helped to design the perfect night for all of our family and friends to come together and celebrate! The serving and kitchen staff was very accommodating to a number of specific allergies among our guests. Plus, ALL the food is delicious and the portion sizes are HUGE. Even after the wedding, our family members kept remarking about the professional and pleasant staff! We will most definitely be recommending the Beechwood to any of our friends being married in the area. We can’t wait to return to the Beechwood to stay in the future and eat at Sonoma, the excellent on-site restaurant!

We were married just 1 week ago, and still floating on a cloud. Our experience at the Beechwood Hotel was absolutely perfect. Erin Kutz was our coordinator & made sure our wedding reception was everything we wanted & more!!! She is totally on top of her game, she is honest & has incredible taste -- which is everything you need to have your vision come to life. We had a large Italian & Irish wedding - the dance floor separated our families .. and brought them together perfectly! The set up was amazing - with the party centered around the dance floor, the beautiful chapel held our photo booth, desserts & memory table where people could take a break from dancing & enjoy each others company. The staff was incredible - friendly, fun & so accommodating!! They also made sure the groom & I had time to actually eat - which really shows you how much they care for their guests!! I cannot even begin to describe how incredible the food was -- every single person (picky eaters included) told us the food was cooked to perfection & tasted even better!!! Chef Anthony accommodated my crazy Italian mother's request for family style pasta at every table - which was EXACTLY what every one wants... delicious, pasta! The entire evening was so perfect - I truly cannot put in to words exactly how happy we are!! We would love to relive this night over & over again and we wouldn't change a single thing!!! I also have to add the rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable & the perfect size for a bridal party to get beautified in!! The entire staff at the Beechwood Hotel is amazing!! This place is an absolute gem and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding experience so memorable!

Married July 2018. The entire wedding day at The Beechwood Hotel exceeded our hopes in every area! It's a gorgeous venue, with the ability to have a ceremony in their non-denominational chapel which adjoins the ballroom. They have some beautiful outdoor spaces to get pictures taken too, so you can stay closeby and actually enjoy the cocktail hour when pictures are done. Guests can also stay in boutique hotel which is really lovely. The entire staff associated with the wedding was terrific - the event planner was knowledgeable and resourceful and I always felt like ours was the only event she was working on, because she was so responsive to my emails and calls, and so on top of every detail! It's been 6 weeks since the wedding and the compliments are still rolling in about the venue and the food. People were raving about the food - I have had seven different people tell me how delicious the marsala steak tips were. Two members of the immediate family have celiac disease and the chef, Jon Paradis, went out of his way to create an amazing meal for us. We had a brunch menu and he set aside a brand new waffle iron so that we could have freshly made gluten free waffles, also made amazing Eggs Benedict on real English muffins!!! I never got beyond those two foods, so sadly can only dream of the chicken piccata and the marinated steak tips that everyone else was talking about! I am also still deeply grateful to the chef for deep frying five hundred appetizers that the groom's family arrived with, which we had not planned on. His flexibility and kindness really saved the day. Another thing I want to especially mention is the people who were serving: Numerous people told me how much they loved talking to the servers during the cocktail hour. They were warm and friendly and so helpful and made our guests feel so at ease! At one point, I was in search of a group of people, and the server literally put down what she was doing and joined me in the search. There just was nothing they wouldn't do to make our day perfect! I recommend the Beechwood Hotel extremely highly and would encourage everyone to consider this great venue!

The Beechwood Hotel was the perfect venue for my son and daughter-in-law's September wedding reception. My daughter-in-law is a Holy Cross graduate and the Beechwood was the best venue for the reception, after the ceremony at the Chapel. This wedding was planned with the fantastic Erin who made the entire process was smooth and fun! She exceeded our expectations as a wedding coordinator! This was key for us, as the bride and groom are medical students in Maryland, so the wedding was planned across state lines! Erin and the staff at the Beechwood did not miss a beat! We had many, many phone calls and e mails. Erin was so patient with all the questions and concerns. The vendor list provided by the Beechwood was a great resource and we LOVED all our choices! The ballroom was lovely and we were lucky to have beautiful weather, so the cocktail reception was on the terrace. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! The wait staff was kind and very professional. All of our guests enjoyed the reception, their accommodations and the spectacular Sunday brunch! It was a fabulous wedding weekend and The Beechwood Hotel was the perfect site for the event of a lifetime!

Our wedding ceremony and reception at the Beechwood was absolutely perfect! The intimate chapel with gorgeous stained glass set the perfect background for our ceremony, and the ballroom was an ideal set up for an elegant and flawless reception. The staff, led by Elisabeth, went above and beyond for us. They turned our vision into a reality and made it completely stress free. Their attention to detail, responsiveness to phone calls/emails, list of vendors and overall guidance during the entire process was unparalleled. The beautiful hotel complete with breakfast and a great bar is just the icing on the cake.We would absolutely recommend having a wedding at the Beechwood! It was honestly the best decision we made while planning our wedding!

Having our wedding reception at the Beechwood was a dream come true! Elisabeth was wonderful to work with! She is so sweet and easy to talk to! Sometimes it would take her a couple of days to get back to me in an email, but she was very on top of her game! The Beechwood itself is a gorgeous hotel! If you are looking for a formal setting, this is the place to go with! We got so many compliments on the food, and the service was on point! There were also several things included in our wedding package that made things so much easier, such as including our cake in the cost. We had several people comment on how elegant and beautiful the reception was, and our guests were very happy with their stay at the Beechwood. Would highly recommend!

The 1/5 star rating we gave the Beechwood is generous, in my opinion. Let me preface by saying that my husband and I are very laid-back people, and we had no problems whatsoever with any of our other vendors (many of whom we gave 4.5+ stars already). The Beechwood Hotel was truly bad enough to elicit negative comments from us, which is really saying something. We were truly embarrassed by the Beechwood’s utter lack of hospitality. \r\rSince our wedding was out of town for most of our guests, we booked a wedding block with the Beechwood for our guest's lodging. Our ceremony and reception was held at the College of the Holy Cross. To emphasize our grievances more clearly and concisely, I'll list them below:\r\r1) The staff of the Beechwood convinced us to book a smaller block, promising a warning call and the opportunity to book more rooms as the hotel filled up. WE RECEIVED NO SUCH CALL, and we quickly RAN OUT OF ROOMS IN OUR BLOCK as a result. Many of our guests had to make alternative arrangements. \r\r2) Abysmal customer service. We received numerous angry phone calls (>10 calls) from family and friends saying that the Hotel’s front desk was very rude to them during the booking process. They were also rude to us when we called. We complained about this to the wedding coordinator, but nothing was done about it. \r\r3) The abysmal customer service that prefaced our wedding was even worse in-person. The front desk was incredibly rude and snobbish to many of our guests (and us). \r\r4) NOBODY BOTHERED TO CLEAN OUR BRIDAL SUITE, SO WE SPENT OUR WEDDING NIGHT IN A DIRTY, UNMADE ROOM. We were promised that our bridal suite, which I used to get dressed/hair done/made-up with all eight of my bridesmaids, would be cleaned while we were gone so that we would have a romantic setting for our wedding night. Instead, we spent the eve of our wedding sleeping next to a stale pitcher of mimosa with the room in complete disarray. How romantic. \r\r5) We later discovered that the HOTEL DIDN'T GIVE US A PROPER BRIDAL SUITE. We were none-the-wiser until one of our guests mentioned how nice and roomy her room was and how she really enjoyed the fireplace. That was supposed to be ours. I’m glad someone got to enjoy it. \r\r6) The hotel gave away the room of one of our guests and did not provide any compensation for their mistake. \r\rThe 1 star rating that we provided the Beechwood Hotel is based solely on its elegant style, attractive aesthetics, and convenient location. Other than that, we could not be more dissatisfied with the Hotel.\r

We had the most perfect wedding. We were married at College of the Holy Cross, and we had our reception at the Beechwood. Elisabeth, the wedding coordinator at the hotel, was amazing to work with. She took all our ideas and pictures and did the entire set up as we described. We did stations for dinner and utilized the chapel for dinner. Our guests all commented that the food was amazing. The entire staff was great to work with.

The Beechwood Hotel exceeded my expectations for a reception venue! For the most part it is an all-inclusive package, and for the services they do not provide they give a great suggested vendors list. The wedding coordinators (Elizabeth & Meghan) were wonderful throughout the entire process, and all other staff the day of our wedding were fantastic! Our wedding reception was truly flawless, and we could not have asked for more from the Beechwood Hotel.

From the moment we visited the Beechwood and met Yvonne, we knew we wanted to get married there. My husband and I were married in November 2014 at the Beechwood Hotel. Everything from the food, to the venue, to the service was outstanding. I highly recommend the Beechwood for an amazing wedding venue.\r\rWe chose the roasted chicken and the salmon for dinner entrees, pecorino and pancetta mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables. The guests raved about the food. For apps during cocktail hour, my favorite was the scallops wrapped in bacon. The bartenders at Ceres helped up choose a signature drink that the guests really enjoyed. Yvonne helped make the venue look amazing. She took all of the decorations we had, and decorated the venue perfectly. Yvonne also helped out tremendously throughout the process. She scheduled meetings to help us plan and decide all of the details of the wedding. She was easy to work with and always friendly. Sometimes it was easier to contact her via phone versus email for quick questions. \r\rCeres entertained our guests after the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding as well as after the wedding. The guests enjoyed having a place to continue to celebrate after the wedding had ended.\r\rThe morning after the wedding, our guests enjoyed the award-winning brunch at the Beechwood. Many have said they will be returning for the brunch alone!\r\rWe had a wonderful experience and will be revisiting for our anniversary! Best of luck planning your wedding and the Beechwood Hotel is well worth looking in to!

This is definitely the best hotel in Worcester. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and have nice linens, etc. And the hotel's restaurant and bar are wonderful! It's a little pricey if you reserve something other than a standard room but still would highly recommend!

We chose this venue for our ceremony because they have the outdoor terrace, with the indoor chapel available in case of bad weather. The weather was perfect and the ceremony beautiful outside! Yvonne was very helpful and all of my requests were honored for our ceremony.

I had my wedding at the Beechwood December 2012. Everything far exceeded our expectations!! We worked with Laurie who was very professional and helpful through the whole process. She and the entire staff made sure we didn't have to worry about anything on the big day. The ballroom looked spectacular for our winter wedding. We got so many compliments on the food and the service at the hotel from our guests. We are so glad we chose the Beechwood for our special day.

The Beechwood was amazing to work with for my wedding. Their event coordinator, Laurie, really listened to what was important to me and made sure that everything was perfect on my wedding day, including getting me a special \"bride\" meal. It's a beautiful site with a top-notch staff who really worked with me and my guests to make everything run smoothly. It POURED rain on my wedding day but the Beechwood was prepared, lending guests huge umbrellas and having valets bring cars right up to the doors so that no one would get wet. I cannot say enough good things about this site if you are having a Worcester Wedding!

The Beechwood is a beautiful location and has a unique ballroom for a hotel. The food was good, although the food at the tasting tasted much better than the food actually served that day.\r However, I would not recommend this location because of their lack of customer service. Their event staff was difficult from the moment we signed the contract. We went through 3 different representatives of the event staff because they had to hire someone who either left or was fired. We were not even informed that our original staff person was no longer working at the Beechwood and we had to ask about this. Many of the requests we were promised and asked about before we signed the contract we had to fight for days weeks/months later. Simple requests such as the number of people at the head table we had to fight over. Ever request I made was a fight. The Beechwood caused me more stress than any vendor I had.\rThat said the service the day of the wedding was great. We had a fabulous time and everything went smoothly for our guests.\rThe Beechwood is a beautiful location and has a unique ballroom for a hotel. Everything on my wedding day/night was perfect! The people I worked with at the Beechwood were very helpful and always available. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the service at our brunch the next morning was not up to par.
