This venue is perched on the scenic cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the stunning views create a mesmerizing backdrop for the ceremony area. The elegant architecture and meticulous landscaping add a touch of timeless sophistication to the entire celebration. It was incredible to have such a beautiful estate-like/country club venue all to yourself for a day, which separates the Bel-Air Bay Club from hotel-like competitors. My wife and I couldn not have imagined our wedding be at any venue other than the Bel Air Bay Club. As you can see from their pictures, the entire property is gorgeous and well maintained. Every staff member there was not only courteous to us, but to all of our guests. Our events coordinating manager Ashley was on top of every detail. She was attentive to all of our needs and changes and she helped keep us on schedule and always followed up on our requests. We were in absolute great hands with her. From day one we knew that we had made the right decision. Amongst the many reasons why we enjoyed BABC, here are a few:The venue photographs extremely wellAll of the vendors we used LOVE working there and have been there beforeThe property is very versatile (and spacious) and can accommodate various types of setupsThey have most of the things you need on the wedding day, between dance floor to dinnerware to chairs, etc. The option to stay in one of their rooms is a real bonus that we would highly recommendThe food and catering is top notch. We were told by several of our guests that the buffet spread we had was the best wedding food they’ve ever hadThey do MANY weddings per year, so they know exactly what they are doing. They are like a well oiled machine. And, of course, the view is perfect. We can’t say enough nice things about this place. The only drawback is that so many other people feel this way that you will have to book well in advance.

This venue was a dream come true. There is a reason they book so far in advance, and it is because it is the best venue in Southern California. I booked this venue in January 2022 and got married this past weekend, and everything was perfect. There is such attention to detail. The bar never had a long line, servers were constantly clearing plates and organizing napkins, and the food was exceptional. One of my favorite things I was told from guests were that the waitstaff were going out of their way to even refresh guest's cocktails, which I've never seen done at a venue before. There is no way that I could not also talk about the beauty of the venue. The views are unlike anywhere else. It really is a fairytale, and I'd gladly host an event there again. O M G. Perfect venue for my wedding. Stunning views, charming and clean club house, great staff, responsive and accommodating team. The one comment I have for improvement is regarding their in-house china, flat ware, and linens. The writing on the china is faded on several plates, and they also don’t have enough to serve the number that can accommodate the venue; therefore I rented my own china. Regarding the flatware and linens, I wish they had more/upgraded options so I didn’t have to spend money on an outside vendor for this. Other than that, everything was amazing!

While I’ve only had one wedding, I can confidently say that the Bel-Air Bay Club was the venue of my dreams. The moment you see the space, your jaw will drop. Even just driving up the flower covered drive, you feel like you’re transported off the PCH to a magical place. The views are endless, and we loved getting married on the lawn. There are so many beautiful places to take photos, both indoors and outdoors. The planning process with BABC was so seamless, and I was grateful to have a venue where I didn’t have to worry about tons of rentals. They had all the linens, tables, chairs, flatware, dishes, etc that you would need for a perfect event. Because the venue had so much to offer, our decor budget was pretty minimal compared to what I was planning for. Ashley Hann was our point person throughout the process, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with, as was the entire team at the venue on the big day. My husband and I were treated like king and queen for the day, and we really appreciate everyone’s care and attention. The bartenders made awesome drinks, the food was all delicious (our guests agreed!), and there were so many places where our guests could hang out during the evening – the patio, the living room, the balcony overlooking the ocean, and of course the dance floor! It was awesome to have a venue that had so many beautiful spaces, such great service, and was all-around world class. Even our guests who traveled internationally said that they felt like they were at a “wedding from the movies.” I would highly recommend the Bel Air Bay Club for a wedding or any event!

We got married at the Bel Air Bay Club on 06/24/23. We worked closely with Ashley Hann and Steve the day of. I can't say enough how fortunate we feel to work with such an amazing staff and venue. They were SO accommodating and they truly care about their clients. They really look out for you. Ashley was so extremely patient with us especially since we were hosting a tea ceremony in the morning and a wedding in afternoon. She was able to make it happen for us! She answered ALL of our endless emails and all our crazy questions thoroughly and quickly since the day we booked the venue which was about a little under 2 years ago. I would 100% recommend this venue to all our family and friends in the future. I would also like to thank Maria Elena for taking such great care of us and for helping us with all the details on the day of the wedding! She was one of the highlights that night! We got married here on 5/27/23 and had a wonderful experience. For a wedding venue with a prime ocean location, they are fair in price. Their team was so easy to work with as well! The food was delicious and there were so many options. They were also so accommodating to special requests and dietary restrictions.I will say the building is on the older side so just be aware of that. We lost electricity on one side of the room in the bridal getting ready room but they were able to fix that right away. There will be hiccups like that but they do get it fixed right away and are on top of it.They are strict about outside alcohol when you’re getting ready but you can bring your own food for breakfast and lunch which is amazing and a great way to save money.We also booked out all the rooms for our wedding which came in clutch for our family and getting ready! I would definitely recommend booking out the rooms if you can!It’s also such a gorgeous location with a beautiful view. There is so much included already in their wedding packages from dance floors to candles to chairs! There’s also so much outdoor space that guests can enjoy throughout the wedding which is so special. We toured so many wedding venues and this definitely was our favorite. We’re so happy to go with BABC. The staff were also so friendly throughout the whole day.I also did have an outside wedding planner who interacted with them the most. So I can’t speak about working with them without a wedding planner. But I definitely always recommend a wedding planner! She has said BABC is one of the easiest and best venues to work with.The absolute best part of BABC is their bridal attendant, Maria. She was so on top of it. From helping me bustle my dress to making sure I was fed to taking BTS photos. She also helped packed up the getting ready room. She definitely made our day. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us. Helped me changed dresses. Carried my lipstick with me. Packed things up. Made sure I was drinking water. Fanned me. She legit bandaged my toe after I stubbed it. She is the absolute best part of it. And after talking to our wedding planner, BABC is one of the only venues that has a bridal attendant! So def keep that in mind!

Literally our wedding day dreams come true. BABC and their staff were absolutely amazing and helped guide us throughout the process from beginning to end. I especially would like to thank Liz Phan, our coordinator who helped us out with everything. Liz you are absolutely amazing, thank you so much for everything! It’s all thanks to her that this stressful wedding planning went smoothly and helped our big day be that much more memorable. Liz helped our beautiful dream wedding day come to life. Planning a wedding is very stressful, but Liz was there every step of the way. She would give us advice and guidance and always looked out for us. She was always available when I had questions. Thanks to her, our special day was absolutely perfect. In the midst of world breaking SoCal rainfalls and storms, we are beyond thankful the sun decided to make an appearance that one day of the week and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful ocean views during our ceremony which is one of the main reasons we chose this venue. The views are breathtaking, the staff is very friendly, and the venue offered many things like a ceremony arch, wooden dance floor, wooden chairs, and other wedding reception items that were included in our overall pricing. We had researched and visited a number of venues until we found BABC and I knew this was the place I wanted to get married at the minute I saw the stunning views and met the staff. I would also like to thank Maria Elena, my bridal assistant for that day. She was just amazing and the absolute best! She really is BABC’s best hidden secret! She was like my fairy godmother the entire time - from the beginning till the end of our night. Anything I needed or my husband needed, she was always there to help. We are so grateful for BABC’s amazing staff and service and beautiful venue. Literally our wedding dreams come true.

We had a truly incredible experience having our wedding here. From the food tasting all the way through to the wedding day itself, our coordinator Ashley was there for us every step of the way and was incredibly kind, communicative and transparent through out the process. While planning a wedding can be stressful, we always knew that we were in great hands.And when the day came, that couldn't have been more true. Ashley and Katrina were there for us from the morning of the wedding all the way 'til the end of the night to make sure that things ran smoothly. And that they did!On top of staffing a day-of-coordinator, there was also the bridal attendant, Maria Elena, who is the absolute best!And also a thank you to Jenny who gave us the initial tour and helped us get set up with our date before being assigned to Ashley! It truly was a day neither of us will ever forget.Beautiful views. Great food. Kind and wonderful staff. A personalized experience. We couldn't recommend this place more!

My wife, Rose Mary and I had our wedding at Bel-Air Bay Club (BABC) on July 15, 2022. Our wedding was pushed back twice from June 7, 2020 and again from July 25, 2021 due to the pandemic. We thank BABC so much for being understanding and flexible with the rescheduling. After 3.5 years of waiting, we arrived on July 15, 2022 and had the most spectacular day of our lives. This was re-echoed by many of our guests saying the \"best wedding\" and/or \"most beautiful venue\" ever. The BABC staff was 110% supportive and on their A-game guiding us throughout the day. You can certainly save your money on a \"day of\" wedding planner, because the BABC Wedding Coordinator Ashley ran things so effectively during our rehearsal, pre-wedding, and during the wedding. They were also very very attentive to my wife Rose Mary in the bridal room, especially during our private moment, helping with her dress, any concerns, and checking in on our mental well-being with everything going on (LOL). Also, the staff from the bartenders, servers, chefs, cooks, the security guard, and front office people... just world-class service all around. We are forever thankful for the experience we had at BABC and we fully recommend them to the moon to have your wedding at their venue.

After having to postpone 3 times due to COVID, we were finally able to celebrate our wedding at our dream venue, Bel Air Bay Club on 6/24/22. If you are looking for a venue that has jaw dropping panoramic ocean views, a beautiful cocktail hour patio, and a stunning indoor ballroom reception area, this venue has it all plus more. They are booked pretty much every day of the week (even week days) because you get so much value for the price! So, prepare to book about 1.5 years in advance if you want a Friday or Saturday wedding (or 3 years if you’re a COVID bride like I was). Their food and beverage minimum varies on which day your wedding is held, but includes not only the best food and appetizers I have ever had at any wedding or restaurant in LA, but also tables, linens, chargers, flatware, stemware, a chuppa, chairs, and aisle if requested. They also have a spacious bridal getting ready suite and groom getting ready suite. Our bridal party also booked their 9 hotel rooms the day before and night of the wedding which I would highly recommend. Although the venue is breathtaking, the true beauty of Bel Air Bay Club is their extraordinary staff. Everyone is amazing and extremely quick in email response time (which is a must for us stressed brides) but I have to give my immense gratitude specifically to Liz Phan. She was my primary correspondent in planning and she was so on top of everything. She constantly went above and beyond in helping me remain calm and answering my numerous questions. She frequently (and graciously) adjusted our Banquet Event Order multiple times because our guest count kept changing, even a week before the event, until I was completely satisfied! She zoom called me more than once after her work hours just to make sure I was completely happy. She cares about her brides so much and you can really tell! Seriously, Liz’s work ethic is beyond compare, and she is the person who truly made having our wedding at BABC the best day of my life!

Wow, where do I even start! I had my wedding at the Bel Air Bay Club last month and I only have positive things to say! The venue, the staff, the food, the service, everything was spectacular. My guests are still talking about the wonderful experience they had on my wedding. Ashley Hann worked with me on all the wedding details leading up to the wedding day. She was absolutely phenomenal. She was extremely patient with me and listened to all of my requests without being bothered one bit. On the day of the wedding, she gave me the best wedding gift which was the option to upgrade to gold chiavari chairs on the ceremony lawn, which was not allowed prior to that day. That made my ceremony even more spectacular. Thank you so much for everything Ashley! Jenny was also phenomenal to work with, she helped me with numerous things before I was assigned to work with Ashley. Thank you so much to you as well Jenny! Thank you to the entire Bel Air Bay Club staff for helping me with my dream wedding!

I wish I had the option for 10 stars. For perspective, my daughter's original date was July 2020. Obviously that was canceled and then rescheduled 3 other times. Throughout this stressful ordeal the BABC stood by us and eventually we managed to get a date on the books! The BABC is a one of a kind venue. From day one...and I mean 2020, they were amazing to work with. You just can't beat the setting. Breathtaking ocean views, the ceremony on the lawn, a gorgeous reception room , beautiful living room also with the ocean views, beautiful patio for the cocktail hour. From the beginning it was very clear that they are a well oiled machine. I had looked at other venues and they did not come close to this. And although it is somewhat costly, it was actually more reasonable than one might think and I consider it a great value. When you take into consideration all that comes with it, you just can't beat it. The setting alone is stunning.The \"getting ready rooms\" are great. Various beautiful settings for gorgeous photos and first look. They also have rooms on site that have an ocean view and a small terrace. They are so convenient. One of the things that was important to us was to have a venue that was private. We didn't want to share our moment with the public. Our event coordinator Ashley Hann was amazing. Always quick to respond to our emails. She kept us on track and was so helpful in every way and was very patient with us. Absolutely lovely to work with. The food was great as was the wait staff. We had so many comments on the food...especially the short ribs!!! I can honestly say it was a perfect venue. So many of our guest commented that everyone working there were so nice, professional and helpful. For guest that were from out of town they were just blown away. Maria was our wedding attendant from the BABC. She is an angel. She helped my daughter in so many ways. Her dress, veil, went to the dressing room to get her dancing shoes, put her shoes on for her....hard to do yourself in a wedding gown and Made sure she was in good form for the photographer. She took a ton of wonderful photos and sent them to me. We had so many guest tell us it was worth the wait and it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I could go on and on, but to sum it up...while on the dance floor my daughter told me she was so happy. That it was perfect and exceeded her expectations. So after 3yrs of planning and replanning our daughter and now son in law had the wedding of their dreams. We could not be happier!

Make sure you double and triple check everything! Not sure if the behind the scenes people were having an off night, but despite the wonderful location and great food, there were so many errors with things as simple as placing the lawn chairs in the right layout, following the dining room floor plan, and having the ceremony podium set up. You spend so much time working out the details with the coordinator that you would think this would be a no-brainer. Plus, a minor but annoying issue, we saw food that we paid for being taken to staff right in front of us while the event was still happening. WTF! Maybe they were short staffed or the on-site coordinator was overworked, but when you know a place like this has done so many weddings, you'd expect them to be a little more on point. We made the day memorable thanks to family and friends, but it would have been nice if Bel-Air Bay Club didn't add unnecessary stress.

From start to finish they did an AMAZING job helping me plan my big day. They were so punctual throughout the processes and decreased my stress from 100 to 0. Ashley Hann, the event coordinator, was exceptional and worked with my day of coordinator & my husband and I thorough to make our special day exactly what we envisioned. On the day of the wedding, their staff was so polite and so helpful. All my guests complimented the service and how beautiful the venue itself was. 100% recommend this venue!

It's been exactly one month since our wedding and we are still over the moon with how perfect it was! The Bel Air Bay Club was the ultimate wedding venue that we happened to stumble upon, and thank goodness we did. Here are thoughts on the various aspects:Location/Venue: GORGEOUS! I don't think you could find a more perfect spot. We had our ceremony on the lawn, which is up off the PCH so our guests had a unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. Many, many photos were taken :) The venue itself is also beautiful, with plenty of private spots for first look and golden hour photo options. The patio, where we had cocktail hour, has an almost Spanish vibe with the stone work, fountain and strung lights. Such a pretty setting that was just elevated with our string quartet playing in the background. The living room provided more space for our guests to enjoy the ocean view and we were able to set up additional stations (escort cards, memorial table, guest book) throughout. And then the ballroom also has ocean views along the whole west facing wall, and is flexible for a range of wedding sizes. We had 120 and it felt spacious yet intimate at the same time. Many guests have commented that this was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to! Plus there are spacious get-ready rooms for both the bride and groom, so we didn't have to bother figuring all that out.Planning Process + Team: From the very first inquiry through the entire planning process, with the complexity of COVID and all, the BABC team is super professional, responsive, and always kind. We had a bunch of cancellations because of COVID during the weeks (and days!) before, and Esmeralda was so accommodating and understanding. We had a change of coordinators a few months before, and there was no issue at all during the transition. During the rehearsal and on the day of, Sophie and Ariana managed the whole wedding party throughout the key moments, and we had a bridal attendant, Maria Elena, who was so on point! She made sure we were hydrated, fed, and looking perfect through the whole night.Food & Beverage: We've heard from multiple guests that the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding! We had some hearty appetizers during cocktail hour (sliders, truffle fries, lobster bisque, spanakopita), and then some popular options for dinner (short rib, halibut and a vegetarian pasta). Everything was so tasty! Since we got married on a Sunday, the wedding had to shut down by 10, so we didn't need late night snacks, but that would have been a fun way to end the night. In terms of beverage, we had 3 specialty cocktails and all 3 were SO GOOD - again, we still have guests telling us how good they were, that they tried all three and loved them all :)Rooms: the BABC has 9 guest rooms that you have the option of booking, which we did because we got married SuperBowl weekend and weren't able to get a hotel block (doh). It was so convenient to be on site, I can't reiterate that enough. The rooms all have an ocean facing balcony, and you can hear the waves crashing even with the doors closed - so lovely.Additional note: I did not have a wedding planner/coordinator, because 1) I'm pretty detail oriented and knew I could handle the planning process, and 2) Sophie & Ariana, the BABC day-of coordinators (along with my MOH) made sure the wedding details were all taken care of. I don't regret a thing! HIGHLY recommend the BABC!

This is a GORGEOUS old Spanish-style villa in a fabulous setting overlooking the ocean. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming and elegant atmosphere for your event, this is the place. Esmeralda was our staff person for our son's wedding, and she organized an array of services and staffing for our event that ran like clockwork. During the planning phase, she answered every question promptly. worked with our son and his bride on details, and had a list of local vendors from which they could choose (florists, hair/makeup artists, photographer/videographer, etc.) who had worked at the venue before. The attention to detail, and the staff and team members’ care for the bridal party and guests were extraordinary. Everything from having refreshments in the bridesmaids' and groomsmen' dressing rooms to lint brushing of the men's suits were such thoughtful touches. I needed to change into sneakers partway through the event, and staff ran to make sure the dressing room was open so I could make the shoe switch. The set up for the ceremony was seamless, the cocktail and food service was perfect. It was worth every penny our families spent to have such a professionally run venue and such great staff. Highly recommend this venue.

Bel Air Bay Club is fully worth it; if you are able to afford and reserve a date with them, do it!Because of the outstanding level of service this venue provides, we did not need to hire Day-of Coordinator. They will not fill the role of a full wedding planner (hiring external vendors, creating color schemes, event design, etc), but you just let them guide you to create a timeline, layout, and menu, hand them your list of vendor contact information, and they will handle all vendors and coordination on the day-of. Our wonderful Special Events Coordinators Gabriella and Esmeralda fully handled and recorded every weird request we had and helped guide us through the process up until the day-of, and the onsite coordinator Sophie + her assistant worked with us and our external vendors on the day-of. Jenny guided us through their pricing structure, and there were no hidden fees whatsoever, everything was upfront. They provide extensive documentation to clarify what they do and don't do, any options you'd like to add on, and they are also very responsive to any questions. They were extremely flexible, even when we had last-minute requests due to Covid (changing the whole layout, seating arrangements, even switched out a guest who cancelled with another guest who asked last minute if she could come). Everything went off without a hitch, we were totally relaxed without a worry on our special day and the staff handled everything. They even provided a wonderful bridal attendant Maria who helped so much, carrying my veil and train so they didn't get messed up for photos, bringing me drinks, and taking tons and tons of photos throughout the day which was a wonderful supplement to what our photographers were able to capture. She's an absolute gem.The venue is so beautiful that (in my opinion) it does not need much decoration if you would like to be budget conscious in that regard. Just something on the ceremony arch and some centerpieces are all that's necessary.The wait staff were extremely efficient and made sure everyone got their meals in a timely manner. All the food was delicious, nothing was disappointing. It was served at the perfect temperature, it was all very flavorful, and none of the steak or fish was overcooked (very impressive, I've never been to a large event where everything was cooked perfectly). We chose to serve raw oysters during appetizers and they were extremely fresh and delicious. The cocktails were perfect as well. My now-husband and I are pretty critical of how food is cooked usually and it fully exceeded our expectations in a delightful way. Guests made so many comments on how amazing the food and drinks were, how insanely beautiful the view & venue were, how \"you guys really know how to throw a party\". Our families were simply blown away, they'd never been to a wedding where the family could just sit and relax, especially with that kind of view.It was truly the best wedding we'd ever been to. We are realists; we weren't necessarily looking to create a \"dream wedding;\" we just wanted to put together an event that we ourselves would remember and enjoy attending as guests; but an absolute 100% DREAM WEDDING is what we experienced with the guidance and support from the wonderful staff.

Bel Air Bay Club is fully worth it; if you are able to afford and reserve a date with them, do it!Because of the outstanding level of service this venue provides, we did not need to hire Day-of Coordinator. They will not fill the role of a full wedding planner (hiring external vendors, creating color schemes, event design, etc), but you just let them guide you to create a timeline, layout, and menu, hand them your list of vendor contact information, and they will handle all vendors and coordination on the day-of. Our wonderful Special Events Coordinators Gabriella and Esmeralda fully handled and recorded every weird request we had and helped guide us through the process up until the day-of, and the onsite coordinator Sophie + her assistant worked with us and our external vendors on the day-of. Jenny guided us through their pricing structure, and there were no hidden fees whatsoever, everything was upfront. They provide extensive documentation to clarify what they do and don't do, any options you'd like to add on, and they are also very responsive to any questions. They were extremely flexible, even when we had last-minute requests due to Covid (changing the whole layout, seating arrangements, even switched out a guest who cancelled with another guest who asked last minute if she could come). Everything went off without a hitch, we were totally relaxed without a worry on our special day and the staff handled everything. Incredible experience from beginning to end!So my husband and I are from Northern California and we had several relatives in the Southern California area so we searched online to find a venue that would meet in the middle and that would overlook the ocean. We did the walkthrough video on youtube and booked it. Crossed our fingers and when we went in person we were blown away with how gorgeous this place is! The pictures or videos don't do it justice!Sure the place is gorgeous but, what made it such a wonderful experience was the staff. On the wedding day everyone was working to make our day about us. They made us feel welcomed and acknowledged us all throughout the day.I especially want to highlight our coordinator Jenny Martin for her work ethic, patience, and professionalism.Since we were doing our planning during the pandemic there were so many additional details involved in the wedding planning process that we didn't realize but, Jenny Martin walked us through every thing step by step to make sure we were happy with all of our selections in the planning process. Due to LA county mandates we also needed to postpone our wedding date from April 29th, 2021 to July 8th, 2021. But, Jenny was professional and gave us the options we needed to make sure that our wedding day was everything that we envisioned. She was a dream to work with. From the start she was truly kept us as her priority and this showed through how quickly she responded to our emails and calls. She even referred us to vendors (florist, photography, etc.) that also contributed to making our day as dreamy as it was. Although we had to travel back and forth to plan our wedding day we felt that it was totally worth it because we were in great hands with Jenny. If you have the opportunity to have your wedding at Bel Air Bay Club, don’t hesitate—book it right away! The venue itself is stunning. The ocean view can’t be beat, and the building has the perfect layout for a great party. The space alone is reason enough to have your wedding here, but the service blew us away. From the start, the Bel Air Bay Club team made wedding planning so easy for us. Their pricing is very transparent, and our booking contact, Carrie, was so responsive and helpful, even though we weren’t able to visit the venue for a couple of months. After booking, our primary contact was Jenny. We didn’t have a separate planner, so we relied on Jenny entirely. She answered all our emails and calls, would send us helpful reminders, and was full of great advice. For the rehearsal and wedding, we had Keila as our coordinator and Esmerelda as our attendant. They were both brilliant. Keila kept us on schedule and set everything up perfectly! Esmerelda was so sweet and anticipated our every need! The team went above and beyond to take care of us, and they really made our wedding better than anything we could have imagined! Bel Air Bay Club is so much more than just a wedding venue. They really made our day perfect, and we feel so lucky we got to get married there!

My husband and I just had our wedding reception at the Bel Air Bay Club about 3 weeks ago and it was seriously such a DREAM! We initially spoke with Carrie to book the event and she was super friendly and professional, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was clear and all our questions were answered. I was so amazed not just by the beauty of the venue (overlooking the Pacific Ocean at sunset? Hello, gorgeous!) but at how much was included. Everything from the dinner ware and chargers to the linens and even the extra candles... and that’s not to mention the FOOD! A tasting is included and it was divine, just like on the wedding day. As the day got closer, I primarily worked with Jenny, who has become one of my favorite people to chat with. Seriously, she’s hilarious. She made sure all loose ends were tied and that we were able to pull off the wedding of our dreams. I didn’t know this at the time, but I even got a bridal attendant the day of the wedding! She was fabulous, like some sort of ninja who snuck up on me at the exact moment I needed something and had it ready for me before I said anything (including shoes, my dress bustled, extra champagne, food — literally anything I needed!). Everything from booking to the day after the wedding checking out in the morning was so fun and so easy. I’ve also gotten so many compliments from our guests over the past few weeks, all saying ours was the best wedding they ever attended. I’m so grateful to the BABC for that. I almost wish I could throw a follow up wedding just so I could relive it ask over again!

Just look at the pictures — the venue is absolutely stunning! Having our wedding overlook the Pacific alone was worth the cost to us, but the BABC delivered much more than that. The entire BABC staff are professionals who know weddings and will make sure you don’t miss a single detail, and they will make sure all the entire operation on the big day will run like a well-oiled machine (I think they said they host 160+ weddings a year). They cared about our wedding as much as we did, and we really can’t say enough about the service they provided. The rest of the venue is amazing as well. There is a great courtyard area for the cocktail reception, as well as a patio area for everyone to take in the view. There are rooms on site which you and your guests can rent out, which came in handy for two of our guests who had young children — they could just run downstairs and check in their kids. The reception room is very spacious and has wonderful views of the ocean (while the sun is out). And the food is excellent — this is food that we would have been more than happy getting at a nice restaurant. If you’re lucky, the food at weddings is decent, but our guests really enjoyed the food.Honestly, I don’t know how you can get better than the BABC. Yes, weddings are pricey, but you will get more bang for your buck here, without question. I can’t say enough great things about our experience here!

If you are looking for a wedding venue this is a MUST SEE! BABC was recommended to us by a friend who had gotten married here 5 years ago. When I first viewed the venue, I was sold. It was the only venue I looked at in person. There was no need to look anywhere else - it was absolutely gorgeous!! 1. The location! Right off PCH, in a very private, exclusive setting. This was important to me because some ocean view venues are in a public setting, whereas this is very private and only you and your guests will be able to see the wedding and surrounding events.2. The venue itself carries everything you would want in a wedding venue - gorgeous ocean backdrop, mediterranean terrace, old Hollywood glam dining areas, and the most spacious and amazing getting ready rooms for both bride and groom (the grooms room has a mirror that turns into a tv and the brides room has floor to ceiling mirrors, plenty of outlets, space, and an ocean backdrop). They also have guest rooms that you can stay at overnight (we stayed there the night of our wedding and it was luxurious).3. The team you work with is AMAZING - this is a turn-key wedding venue and they make wedding planning and day of a BREEZE. They think of everything and make you feel so at ease. There is also an inside option as a backup plan, free of charge if it rains.4. The food is to die for - all in house catered and OMG we wish they had a restaurant we could eat at every week. You can't go wrong with anything on that menu.5. No surprises - they are very detail oriented the whole way through you know exactly what the final costs will be. Excellent communication and so accommodating. 6. The guests LOVED the venue - we wanted to make sure this was an experience for our out of town guests and people were raving! Its an amazing place and the staff is so professional and friendly.We loved our wedding last week at BABC and would hands down 10/10 recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the LA area. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Carrie was the one who really sold us on the venue & from then on working with Krissy was a dream. She was so helpful and answered all of my emails! One of my favorite times planning was the tasting where we sampled the wine they offer along with various assortments of food. It was really helpful when selecting our menu, plus it was really fun! Day of, I did not have my own wedding coordinator so they venue provided one for us & Jenny was amazing. I felt really good having Jenny there day of so I could relax, get ready & enjoy my wedding. one of the reasons we picked BABC was because they have a great rainy day backup plan. We picked March for our wedding and being in LA, there's a good chance it could rain. We completely lucked out with the weather and had a beautiful ceremony out on the lawn, which was what I really wanted. Guests went to the cocktail hour after and love the hors d'oeuvres like the sliders, truffle fries & goat cheese crostini. They prepared a little plate of apps for my new husband and I to have after photographs and I just wanted to keep eating those! So good! I received a bridal attendant to help me day of and Sonja was so amazing! She was there with water, lipstick, holding my dress... anything I needed!! I really loved my wedding at BABC and even my husband really loved it. He was amazed by the venue and said it turned out far better than he thought. If you're considering BABC, definitely pick them! So worth it!

The venue and the views were just breathtaking! But I will be honest everything was great working with there planning staff member Christine, but on the day of our wedding we were set up with Jenny, and I must say she really dropped the ball on us a few times, and disappeared once dinner was served, it wasn't what we expected from her! I will say I am overly thankful I had Sonia, who was assigned as my (the bride) personal day off Assistant because she went above and Beyond to deliver! Our flowers were more than we could have ever imagined. We used 1800 Rose Bid located out in Torrance, and our person of contact was Herbert. He really took the time to listen and delivered! Our cake came from a small bakery located in Santa Monica, called Vanilla, not only did look really pretty it tasted delicious. People were still talking about it 2 weeks later. As for Dj, lightning, and photography, we used J&M and although we did have a slight set back at the beginning with our original photographer. They did take care of us right away! The Dj and MC had everyone dancing, and that was our goal.

We just had our wedding here in February 2019 and I can not say enough good things about this venue.First off, from the first email to the day after the event, the staff are all incredible. The team I worked with was always very responsive, incredibly detail-oriented and VERY good at their jobs. I'm an event planner so had pretty high expectations and the event team at BABC (Chris, Krissy and Jenny) exceeded them all. They have a workbook for weddings that makes all the decision-making a very easy process and they are truly a full-service, all-inclusive venue that has everything you could possibly need--they even provided straws in the bridal suite so we could drink without smudging our lipstick while we were getting ready! They literally think of everything.On the day before and day of the event, the BABC coordinator, Jenny, made sure that everything went according to plan and I've heard lots of stories since about the team going out of their way to make extra accommodations for vendors and guests. This place is also stunningly beautiful. The views alone would be worth having an event there; we got lucky with the weather and had a perfect sunset over the ocean backdrop during our ceremony that blew all of our guests away. But the inside courtyard and living room area are also gorgeous and our guests really enjoyed having the space to get out of the noisy main room and have space to spread out.The parking situation is indeed limited, but we had 170 guests and provided a shuttle for everyone who was from out of town. That meant there were plenty of spots for locals and vendors and we encouraged guests to use ride sharing. As long as you let guests know in advance, I don't think this is a real problem. The only con I had was the tasting experience. They only do group tastings and only on weekday afternoons so it wasn't the most convenient or personalized. That said, in the end the food was all delicious and we've heard continual rave reviews from our guests about everything they ate so there was really nothing to worry about. You can absolutely trust this chef. I can't thank the BABC team enough for making the whole wedding planning and wedding day experience a stress-free dream. Booking this venue was the best decision we made! (Aside from choosing each other of course...)

Simply exceeded expectations! The Bel-Air Bay Club made my wedding a dream! Everything about the venue & the team was beyond amazing! The venue and the view over the Pacific was just stunning (you can see from Malibu all the way to Palos Verdes on a clear day!). We had lots guests from the East Coast and the view from the venue was the one thing that our guests could not stop talking about. The team was beyond fantastic. Carrie, our sales manager, was professional and prompt in responding to our questions and requests as we finalized our contract. Christine, our events coordinator, was quick to respond and great to work with...we also loved that she would offer her honest opinion when we needed it :) Jenny, our day of coordinator, was great at keeping everyone on track and on schedule. Then there is Maria, our bride & groom attendant for the day (which we didn't know we were going to get so it was a pleasant surprise!), was just so sweet, accommodating, and attentive during the entire event. We LOVED working with of all them. They made the entire planning process and wedding day stress-free and smooth. People usually say that they had their dream wedding but the Bel-Air Bay Club & team made our wedding a dream!! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our dream wedding at Bel-Air Bay Club in October 2018, and it was truly amazing (in my humble opinion). We cannot thank the staff of BABC enough!Jenny was the best day-of coordinator we could have asked for. She kept everything running smoothly at both our rehearsal and wedding day, and was very thorough and encouraging. I had not hired an external coordinator and was worried about not having one, but there was absolutely no need with Jenny there.We loved Maria our attendant! She was a lifesaver—she carried my veil and train around everywhere, got rid of a stain on my husband’s shirt, bustled my dress, helped me with my million outfit changes, stayed with us until we settled into our guest room at the end of the night and magically was there at every moment we needed help.The rest of the staff was also extremely helpful. My husband and I were repeatedly impressed at how they seemed to know us personally and to know about everything that was going on that day to help us and our guests at all times. From the wait staff to the security guard, we are thankful for everybody.And finally, we are forever indebted to Krissy, who we worked with in the months leading up to the wedding. Krissy was responsive, flexible, creative and amazing to work with. I know she was busy handling a million other weddings (I am truly shocked at how many weddings there are at BABC), but she always made us feel like a priority.I thought I wouldn’t miss the wedding planning process, but we are sad the day is over. During our honeymoon that we left for right after our wedding, my husband and I were constantly looking at our photos from our wedding and reliving the day. We received so many rave reviews about the wedding from our family and friends who attended, with many saying it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. From the unbeatable ocean view to the food to the accommodations, BABC is truly a dream venue. I can’t imagine having gotten married somewhere else.Pro tip to future brides: be prepared to book your date very far in advance. When I first inquired about availability right after I got engaged in July 2017, the first available Saturday was in October 2018 (which we ended up booking right away). There’s a reason why this venue is so popular!

10 out of 10!!! We had our wedding at BABC and would 100% recommend this venue. First, I cannot say enough about the team at Bel Air Bay Club. They go above and beyond. Not every venue does this and we were completely blown away by the level of service and quality of the staff. Thank you thank you from from the bottom of our hearts - especially to Carrie, Christine, Krissy, and Jenny. FANTASTIC team!!!Second, the venue is absolutely gorgeous - couldn't ask for better location in LA. It was our dream spot. Guests still talk to me about the view of the ocean at sunset. We felt like we were in a fairytale.Bel Air Bay Club is hands down the best venue and staff you will find in Los Angeles. The staff makes you feel like you are the only one that matters, even though they do multiple weddings each week - which means they have tons of experience. We are so happy and grateful to BABC!!! I would tell my closest family and friends to have their wedding at this venue. It will be the best decision you make in planning your wedding!

I cannot rave about the bel air bay club enough! It was a perfect night. The planning team, shout out to Krissy, made my wedding perfect. They were so on top of everything. The venue itself is beautiful and so well maintained but the staff make it even better. The guest kept complementing the food as well. We got married at the Bel-Air Bay Club in October. What an amazing wedding venue. Surprisingly, there are very few wedding venues in Los Angeles that have beach views and can hold 200 guests, so if you want to get married with a view of the ocean, I definitely recommend the Bel-Air Bay Club. The venue checked off every one of our boxes: amazing views, nice reception area, rain back-up plan if needed, great food. The venue is a well-oiled machine and that made our wedding day experience totally seamless. Also the food was amazing - we got a lot of compliments on how tasty everything was. Another great feature of the club is they offer the bride a day-of bridal attendant; Maria was the sweetest ever and also a total life-saver as she helped me get around the venue with my long bridal train and later made sure I had something to eat and drink during the reception. We would definitely highly recommend the BABC!!

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Bel-Air Bay Club! They were absolutely amazing to work with ! The venue is stunning, but the staff is even better. We had a perfect wedding & they truly helped make the planning and the day of beyond smooth. I worked closely with Krissy. I loved working with her! She is very good at her job and goes above and beyond to serve her clients. During the months and weeks leading up to my wedding she helped me stay on top of all of the smallest details and quickly responded with any questions I had. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to work with. The day before the wedding & day of Jenny was our coordinator. She was so helpful and was on top of everything. The VenueMy wife and I are both from the area and looked at a couple of venues locally. She really wanted an ocean-view but not a beach. And, I wanted to make sure that the venue wasn't crazy far (our families live in Venice + Pacific Palisades). The areas that we really looked at were Palos Verdes, Malibu, and Pacific Palisades. We looked at a couple other venues but felt like BABC was really the hands-down best one. It was on the pricier side but the actual structures and decor were hands-down better than the other places that we were looking at. The ceilings are super high indoors and the actual building is really cute (spanish-style building). My wife wanted an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception and BABC has this really wonderful lawn that's beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. They have an outdoor cocktail area which looks realy cool lit up at night.Leading UpWe worked with Christine Glymph leading up to the wedding. She is super clutch. She was always incredibly responsive and was great at providing recommendations without feeling pushy. She was super nice and a delight to work with. She has such a wonderful attitude and if she's your coordinator, you are in very good hands.Day ofOur day of coordinator was Jenny Martin. She did an absoultely wonderful job coordinating between all of the vendors. The day of she somehow managed to have everything in the right place at the right time. She made sure that we stayed as true to the schedule, but was very flexible when we had to make some changes. For example, a lot of our parents' friends looked like they were leaving right after dinner. Jenny suggested deviating from our original schedule to cut the cake after some of the dancing and instead to cut the cake first. This was a great suggestion as we were able to make sure our parents' friends got their fill of desserts :) She really hit the ground running and utilized the plan/timeline that we provided Christine and really knew what our plan was and the best way to execute it. I'm the type of person who doesn't really want to impose on others but Jenny did a great job of making sure that I did as little as possible so that I could really enjoy the day. Overall, the staff at BABC were really fantastic. It really did feel like everyone was just super happy to be there and was really happy for you. The bridal attendant (Sonia) was so sweet and was there to help my wife in any way shape/form. She made a little plate for us for cocktail hour & dinner & dessert so that we could try the food. My friends said that the bartenders killed it with the drinks too!The food here is really great! My wife has a reputation for being a \"foodie\" and so a lot of her friends had high expectations for the food, and all those expectations were totally met. My favorite Hors d'oeuvres were: crabcake, truffle oil + french fries, tomato soup + grilled cheese, ahi tuna crisps, kobe beef sliders. We did stations and people really liked the prime rib and the sand dabs station.Thank you so much to Christine Glymph, Jenny Martin, Sonia, and the rest of the staff at BABC for making our wedding day so special.

We looked at a couple other venues but felt like BABC was really the hands-down best one. It was on the pricier side but the actual structures and decor were hands-down better than the other places that we were looking at. The ceilings are super high indoors and the actual building is really cute (spanish-style building). My wife wanted an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception and BABC has this really wonderful lawn that's beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. They have an outdoor cocktail area which looks realy cool lit up at night.Leading UpWe worked with Christine Glymph leading up to the wedding. She is super clutch. She was always incredibly responsive and was great at providing recommendations without feeling pushy. She was super nice and a delight to work with. She has such a wonderful attitude and if she's your coordinator, you are in very good hands.Day ofOur day of coordinator was Jenny Martin. She did an absoultely wonderful job coordinating between all of the vendors. The day of she somehow managed to have everything in the right place at the right time. She made sure that we stayed as true to the schedule, but was very flexible when we had to make some changes. For example, a lot of our parents' friends looked like they were leaving right after dinner. Jenny suggested deviating from our original schedule to cut the cake after some of the dancing and instead to cut the cake first. This was a great suggestion as we were able to make sure our parents' friends got their fill of desserts :) She really hit the ground running and utilized the plan/timeline that we provided Christine and really knew what our plan was and the best way to execute it. I'm the type of person who doesn't really want to impose on others but Jenny did a great job of making sure that I did as little as possible so that I could really enjoy the day. Overall, the staff at BABC were really fantastic. It really did feel like everyone was just super happy to be there and was really happy for you. The bridal attendant (Sonia) was so sweet and was there to help my wife in any way shape/form. She made a little plate for us for cocktail hour & dinner & dessert so that we could try the food. My friends said that the bartenders killed it with the drinks too!The food here is really great! My wife has a reputation for being a \"foodie\" and so a lot of her friends had high expectations for the food, and all those expectations were totally met. My favorite Hors d'oeuvres were: crabcake, truffle oil + french fries, tomato soup + grilled cheese, ahi tuna crisps, kobe beef sliders. We did stations and people really liked the prime rib and the sand dabs station.Thank you so much to Christine Glymph, Jenny Martin, Sonia, and the rest of the staff at BABC for making our wedding day so special.

Hands down, best wedding venue you could ever get married at. Most beautiful view, most organized team, and best food. Oh, and it's a private property, so you won't be getting married at the same time that three other brides are getting married. And there won't be any random spectators. You also get the best of all worlds. You get married with an ocean view, have a beautiful floral patio for cocktail hour, and have a giant tall ceiling ocean view ballroom. Even though they have almost 2 or more weddings a week, they make you feel like you're the only bride for the month. Krissy is the head lady and she responds to your emails so quickly, so planning is really easy with her. They even have a bridal assistant for you on day of that follows you around and gets you whatever you need, takes you to the bathroom, etc. We had some pretty weird requests and the BABC worked with us to make it happen. The food is phenomenal, we had so many compliments on it. They have done this so many times that everything runs so smoothly. BABC has a easy to read packet that describes everything you need to know. Our day of coordinator was really on top of things, she got there really early and made sure we had everything we needed. The bridal suite is perfect, mirrors everywhere, and the grooms suite has the best view. I got married on a Friday, and although Friday weddings aren't ideal, it was a huge price cut for the same amazing service. I highly recommend it. It ended up working out just fine for my out of town guests, etc. Lastly, the staff is super down to earth, easy to get along with, NOT fake or superficial. That is something that really stood out to me. This venue is the nicest and holds the biggest, most expensive weddings I've ever seen. My wedding was more simple and on a Friday, and I didn't feel like I was treated any less of a person because we weren't spending as much as the other huge weddings they had there. We still received exceptional service.

BABC was literally perfect for our cocktail hour and reception! We worked with Tessa and she was absolutely wonderful and so creative when we asked if we could do a craft beer tasting bar since we're both passionate about craft beer. We had cocktail hour down on the lawn and then our reception upstairs. They worked with us to create a cigar lounger and have in-n-out arrive for late night snacks and also provided the MOST delicious food and appetizers for us and our guests. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue and it does not disappoint. The high level of amazing service is second to none and a huge advantage that wasn't sold to me is that you have a VIP support individual all day of your wedding that literally follows you around and ensures everything you need is available and that we actually ate at our wedding (thanks Maria!). Thanks BABC team for such a wonderful evening!

She was incredibly helpful and transparent throughout the entire contractual process. She sent over a very detailed spreadsheet, so we knew the exact cost for everything before signed. She quickly answered our questions via email and made us feel totally at ease with the sometimes overwhelming process of finding a venue. Unfortunately, some unforeseen circumstances arose and we are unable to get married there after all. However, Carrie was understanding and kind, despite a lot of the hassle that we caused. The Bel-Air Bay Club was my perfect venue and did not disappoint. We got married with a beautiful view of the pacific in the background and then had the most magical party to follow. The site speaks for itself but what I truly appreciated was how amazing the staff was. From my initial booking up until the end of our wedding, everyone was amazing and so easy to work with. The pricing was very straightforward and they were great and accommodating when it came to all of the details that go into the day. On our actual wedding day, I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything and our friends and family were treated so well. The food and drinks were fantastic and everything was flawless. The small details were all beautiful and we even got to use the fireplaces. We had someone from catering focus her attention entirely on me and my husband for the entire day and she was fabulous. She even had safety pins on hand and saved the day after my husband accidentally ripped my bustle during our grand entrance. I was so happy with this venue, loved working with their staff, and wish I could just keep re-living our entire wedding celebration at the Bel-Air Bay Club.

When I had custom requests on certain wedding detail decors I wanted to do and planned on doing myself, she took it off my plate so that I didn't have to lift a finger! She truly made us feel comfortable and confident in that our wedding was going to go off without a hitch. Everyone always says to expect 1 or 2 things to go wrong on your wedding day but everything about our day was PERFECT! Amazing, venue and an even more amazing team at BABC!!! Could not recommend this place more!

Let’s start with the venue itself. It is a spectacular setting. The physical grounds are gorgeous and perfectly maintained. The building – the old clubhouse, cliff-side – is huge and elegant – elegant being the key word, not pretentious. Every detail is accounted for; the rooms are wonderfully decorated. My husband and I just found the clubhouse to be like a giant home for our wedding, which is exactly what we wanted. We had many out-of-towners and wanted to show them seaside part LA. Bel-Air Bay Club was just ideal to accomplish that.The service: spectacular. Not only was Cuckie Zatti a pleasure to work with, she anticipated our needs before we knew them. She had everything taken care of – checklists, workbooks – it’s an incredibly through affair. Our day-of coordinator, Ashley, was also a delight. She obviously knew what was going on and how to shepherd things along gently. A couple of cousins had infants with them and were able to use rooms at the facility for child-care purposes; again, the venue was flexible and helpful in getting these needs met. Sonia was our bridal attendant on the day and she was outstanding. From helping with my dress during photos to finding an item left in our dressing room, she was on top of it.My husband and I kept being told that wedding food wasn’t that important, that nobody remembered it, but, for us, that just wasn’t true. We love good eating and drinking, and it mattered to us that it be good – and BABC delivered. We had dozens of people come up to us after the wedding and say, “That was the best wedding food we’d ever had.” Instead of traditional deserts, we wanted a custom “wedding cake” – a tower of cheese wheels – and a gelato station. Chef Peter and his staff were open to the idea and executed it perfectly. Again, people loved it. All the elements came together at BABC to create an unforgettable event.

The Bel-Air Bay Club was a beautiful venue for the one of the best days of our lives. We are thankful for the event coordinators, staff, and helpers that made the day go so smoothly. We received great feedback from our friends and family on how lovely the service was and especially (and this is important to us as foodies), how good the food was! We would recommend the Bel Air Bay Club to any bride and groom who are looking for an elegant, classy venue with a great view and solid service. The Bel-Air Bay Club was a beautiful venue for the one of the best days of our lives. We are thankful for the event coordinators, staff, and helpers that made the day go so smoothly. We received great feedback from our friends and family on how lovely the service was and especially (and this is important to us as foodies), how good the food was! We would recommend the Bel Air Bay Club to any bride and groom who are looking for an elegant, classy venue with a great view and solid service. We thought their prices were very reasonable for what they offered compared to other venues we looked at - and they were the last of 10 venues we had looked at. Go check it out!

We just got married at the Bel-Air Bay Club last Sunday!!! It was heaven!! The day was warm and sunny and we exchanged our vows at Sunset. The skies were clear and the ocean view from the Club was spectacular. We had the Club all to ourselves!! Not only is the Bel-Air Bay Club a spectacular location with stunning ocean views, but the staff there is simply best. Lisa and Christine were fabulous to work with -- they were always willing to answer my many questions and they helped me plan out the wedding of my dreams. The staff there anticipated all of our needs and made sure that we stayed hydrated (you might laugh at that, but it is important), got a chance to eat, and Sonia kept me from stepping on my train all through the night!!! They know how to run a wedding so that you do not have to worry about a thing! Thank you Bel-Air Bay Club, you are the BEST.\r\rSusan K.

The Bel Air Bay Club is a beautiful spanish-style venue with gorgeous ocean views. It is exactly what we were looking for in a venue and we absolutely fell in love with it. The Bel-Air Bay Club was an amazing venue in so many ways. Of course the venue is beautiful - the grounds, the club room, courtyard, sites of the ocean, etc, which led to amazing wedding photos. However, the food and staff were just as amazing. They were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire planning process through the completion of the wedding event. They were never pushy and truly worked with you to stay within your budget. Never once did they try to persuade me to purchase something additional. During the course of the wedding day, they were so attentive to the bride and the entire bridal party and guests. They were always close by and made the day go seamlessly. The food was impeccable. Overall, I have received nothing but raving reviews and compliments from everyone on how great the food and overall venue was. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in this site.

We had our ceremony on the lawn outside overlooking the ocean and then the reception inside the dinning room. They can accommodate around 225. Everyone who worked there was so helpful and pleasant to work with. A true hidden gem in LA!

This was the first venue me and my now husband visited about a year before the wedding and immediately fell in love. The other venues we saw after that just didn't compare. We had a whole team of people form BABC working with us and everyone was extremely professional, friendly, helpful, sweet and encouraging. I could not have had a better experience. From the food tasting, to the planning, to contracts, to final details - everything was taking care of from A to Z. It was so easy to work with the team. On the day of the wedding, everything went perfect. There were no issues at all. If you are looking to host an event with an ocean view, this one is definitely perfect.

I love the Bel Air Bay Club! This venue is absolutely beautiful overlooking the ocean. It is perfect for someone looking to have a beach wedding with out dealing with all of the sand and wind. The staff was a pleasure to work with from the beginning and very accommodating. They even provided me with a personal assistant to carry my train/bouquet and provide my husband and I with whatever we needed throughout the day. They also sent us home with a box full of cake slices since we didn't really get to eat any at the reception! The place is a little pricey with a lot of extra fees but worth it for the wonderful experience!

Our ceremony was on the lawn with our guests facing the ocean, it could not have been any prettier. The staff was wonderful to work with, especially the catering manager, Lisa. She is a doll. We never imagined we would get married at a country club as we're not members and surely it was out of our price range. Christine, Lisa and staff made our dream a reality by assisting us in hosting an amazingly beautiful and FUN wedding that fit into our budget. It helped that we got married on a Friday in November (still gorgeous weather!) but the staff also worked hard to accomodate us and make sure that we had everything we wanted. Our guests were impressed by the ocean view during the ceremony (outdoors) and the sunset during the cocktail hour (visible from large windows that overlook the ocean.) My only \"complaint\" is that the parking is limited. But our guests were able to take advantage of the open bar and ride home safely in the busses we provided. Overall an amazing experience and one we feel so fortunate to have enjoyed.

We visited over 10 venues in the Los Angeles area and decided to go with the Bel Air Bay Club after much deliberation. Price-wise, it was comparable with many other venues (i.e. Calamigos), but I liked how gorgeous the views of the ocean were and how private it was, especially in comparison to a hotel. In the end, we were extremely satisfied with our decision to go with this venue. \r\rThe venue comes with their own catering service and on-site coordinator. Parties of > 50 guests require an attendant and valet services. We had about 110 guests, and the venue was a perfect size, though it can accommodate much larger and smaller parties. \r\rThroughout the process, the staff was very accommodating and flexible, even with last-minute changes. They are so on top of little details. They just made the whole wedding planning so much easier. We had also hired a wedding coordinator just in case anything went wrong, but I think the venue is capable that you may not need a hire a coordinator, particularly if your party is on the smaller side. My only complaint about the staff was that the gift attendant was not always at the gift table, so our guests did not feel safe leaving their gifts unattended. \r\rOn the day of the wedding, it actually rained! But all of the guests still thought the venue was so beautiful. The staff quickly converted the whole indoor space into for an indoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour. Our photographers also found many beautiful indoor areas for us to take group photographs. The venue is that amazing!\r\rWe also received compliments on the abundant food. Thanks to the tasting session, we selected some delicious food (onaga, shortribs, butternut squash soup). Guests also thought the food was plated beautifully. \r\rOverall, I am so glad that we went with this venue. The staff made wedding planning so much less painful and were wonderful to work with. The views of the Pacific Ocean are gorgeous, whether sunny or rainy. We had a beautiful wedding, and our money spent here was well worth it!

First of all, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. It has an old spanish feel to it, but with an amazing view of the ocean. The courtyard and ballroom were great. The location seems more like someone's fabulous house, than just another hotel ballroom. The grand fireplaces really help to add that little extra to the ambiance as well. The staff was also wonderful to work with here. Very helpful and very nice. I received compliments from many of my guests on how beautiful the ceremony on the lawn was. If I could do it all over, I would go right back to the same place!

This location is hands-down one of the most beautiful venues you will ever see. Ocean views, old world class and elegance, and a great staff.
