Deluxe Suites While you prepare for your wedding at bella sala, you will have access to two deluxe suites unlike any other. You will have plenty of room to relax and get ready in style with lots of mirrors, stations for hair and makeup, and places to hang gowns and tuxes. There's no question we would recommend Bella Sala to friends and family for their own events. Shivani especially was so easy to reach and work with throughout the planning process. JP helped us make things comfortable and convenient for our guests. Everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful the venue was. It was magical getting married underneath the blossoms growing on the trees in the outdoor area!

From the outdoor patio, waterfall terrace area to take pictures, the full-sized bar and the wonderful reception hall--we felt like we had it all for our guests. The team at Bella Sala was very accommodating and easy to work with and for that we are thankful. We would do it all over again!

JP, Melissa, Bailey, and Shivani were amazing to work with! They had everything lined up for us and made the wedding planning process so easy. JP was fabulous throughout the whole engagement process and helped us with finding vendors. The venue was beautiful and the bar staff were amazing! JP ensured the day of that everything went smoothly and we had nothing to worry about. Everything about our day was perfect and most of that has to do with how amazing Bella Sala was!

The Bella Sala Event Center is great and I would seriously recommend it. I think it stands out among other venues in the eastern IA area based on pricing and amenities. They have special Bella Sala only items like caterers with special menus you can take advantage of if you're looking for an exclusive experience.My only critique is that the liquoring/drink licensing makes customizing your drink package a little restrictive, but the staff are friendly, and very willing to work with you to make your event successfully. I would give them a solid 4.5/5 overall! Very happy with my wedding there with my wife and our reviews from our guests were all very positive and great as a result of picking a good venue.

Bella Sala was the best venue ever! We got married Oct. 10 2020 so, our wedding was not easy to have due to the times we are in, but JP and Bailey helped us through everything. They reassured us a great plan to be sure we went about the wedding safely, they were on top of the millions of questions we had! The venue has everything you will need on your big day, it has a massive and gorgeous bridal suite equipped with everything you will need to get ready, and the grooms suite is perfect for the men! We had a ceremony location change 3 months prior to our wedding so we chose to move our wedding to the outdoor portion of the venue - the waterfall made a perfect backdrop. I would 100% recommend having your wedding here.

Bella Sala is amazing! The venue recently got a facelift and the space is more beautiful than ever. I especially loved having the gigantic bridal suite to get ready. If you are looking for a chic yet rustic venue this is the place for you. JP, the event manager, was always there to answer my questions and made the process of switching our dates easy. I couldn't be happier with having Bella Sala as my venue and I would recommend it to all brides in the Iowa City/Tiffin/Cedar Rapids area.

As a wedding planner, I've seen a lot of venues. This one is completely unique in that it has the BEST bridal suite. It's new, it's huge, it's spacious, and it's gorgeous! It was absolutely perfect! The reception hall is gorgeous and large, the waterfall terrace is perfect for an outdoor ceremony! The staff is kind and courteous, and very responsive. I really enjoyed working with them for a wedding this weekend, and I look forward to working with them again!

As a wedding planner, I've seen a lot of venues. This one is completely unique in that it has the BEST bridal suite. It's new, it's huge, it's spacious, and it's gorgeous! It was absolutely perfect! The reception hall is gorgeous and large, the waterfall terrace is perfect for an outdoor ceremony! The staff is kind and courteous, and very responsive. I really enjoyed working with them for a wedding this weekend, and I look forward to working with them again!

The staff at Bela Sala were great with answering any and all questions we had throughout the whole wedding process. JP and Melissa worked hard to be sure the venue was arranged to our wishes and made sure our day went off without a hitch. We used the Piccola side for our wedding ceremony and the Cascata side for our reception. We were able to get some gorgeous pictures outside by the fountain. It was wonderful to be able to have all portions of our wedding day at the same site, so guests didn’t have to travel between venues. We were able to take advantage of reduced pricing, since we had a November wedding, allowing us to rent the entire hall at an affordable price. JP was great with offering suggestions for table set-ups and assisting us with our drink order, as well as being present the day of our event to be sure everything went according to plan. Also, Bella Sala provided all of the table linens and staging, set up the tables and chairs, and did all of the cleanup and takedown after we removed all of our personal items from the venue following our event. Thank you, Bella Sala, JP, Melissa, and staff for making our day so special! We would highly recommend Bella Sala to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue!

For those complaining about the price, good luck finding something as nice as this place with this good of staff for the same price. You get what you pay for. Our wedding was beautiful, we had people lined up to leave early and light candles at the reception, Bella Sala's staff took care of it before they even got there! They went above and beyond to make our day special! We also got our tuxes from Lena in XOXO and it was perfect, a one stop shop for everything! Thanks to these guys for there hard work to make our day special!

Beautiful venue! The blank slate was perfect to make it just how we wanted it to look. A little pricey. Crazy upcharge on alcohol. Only 2 options for catering. We went with PHAT daddy’s which was great! Rented decor through the venue as they set up and tore down for no cost. Loved having our ceremony outside in front of the waterfall. We rented the whole facility to avoid sharing the venue with another event. We had plenty of space for 200 people. Bridal suite was nice but there was no where for the men to get ready.

We were super happy with Bella Sala-just outside of Iowa City.\r\rTheir staff was great to work with in terms of setting up the room, decor, etc.\r\rWe got married in the winter, so the venue was at a discounted price, but it is still fairly expensive given that their is no hotel and you pay for a meal on top of renting the venue.\r\rThe only thing we were disappointed in was that we ran out of wine. We were promised that there would be more than we originally ordered, and that was not the case. Other than that, the bartenders did great moving people through the bar so that there wouldn't be a line of people waiting.

My Husband and I had a great time working with Bella Sala. The day of the wedding everything was taken care of and the venue looked great! All of the workers were very friendly and were very polite. Great place to have a wedding! The ONLY thing I would change about the venue is that they give you more caterers to choose from. Other then that it was a great experience.

My Husband and I had a great time working with Bella Sala. The day of the wedding everything was taken care of and the venue looked great! All of the workers were very friendly and were very polite. Great place to have a wedding! The ONLY thing I would change about the venue is that they give you more caterers to choose from. Other then that it was a great experience.

Bella Sala is an absolutely beautiful venue to host your reception at. It's a bit on the costly side, but for a LARGE wedding (600+) it accommodated everybody in a way we couldn't find elsewhere. \r\rThe two gals that own/operate it do a remarkable job. Bar Manager & Event Planner are also awesome. Would highly reccommend to anyone because of the elegance. Dress it up as much or as little as you'd like. It will be beautiful no matter what!\r\rThe dance floor was slick and I would say a little on the dangerous side once any liquids (beer) was spilled on it. Of course, as bride and groom, you sign a contract and pray that your friends don't sue you, but there were some serious bruises/knee injuries after our reception. \r\rOverall, had a lovely time!!

This place is not worth the money. It is suppose to be a high-end reception hall. However, we had to do all the decorating and clean-up ourselves - not classy. The security guard and \"day of help\" were a joke. The alcohol was overly expensive. \r\rI would suggest shopping around before signing the contract. They run with a \"bait and switch\" mentality. Once you sign the contract, you are on your own. \r\rYou will also have to share the common areas with other events.

The entire location is breathtaking. The outdoor space was perfect for an outdoor wedding, with a large lawn and beautiful waterfall. The hall was just as beautiful with vaulted ceilings. Everyone that works there is extremely helpful and has a ton of experience with great advice.
