Paying homage to the Texan architecture of the early 20th century, it presents a classic venue for an event to remember. We booked this venue for my daughter’s wedding, while it was still under construction. After meeting with the owners, Darrell & Kim May we knew we were in good hands! They are the nicest, most caring, and down to earth people we have ever met. They both went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for the wedding and treated our daughter as if she was their own. We also used Kim for the flowers and decorations and were amazed by how well everything turned out. Having been in the wedding business for many, many years she is very creative and is absolutely the BEST! Every part of this venue is BEAUTIFUL! The chapel and reception area were perfect and both were able to accommodate our 200+ guests. They all had plenty of room to dance, mingle, and hang out. There reception area had plenty of room for a live band and was still able to accommodate a large dance area. We also had room for a photo booth for our guest’s entertainment. The bride and groom rooms were also perfect. The bridesmaids and groomsmen had a great time hanging out with each other while getting ready for the big day. Our caterers were amazed by the kitchen facilities. Darrell & Kim put a lot of thought into this part of the venue. They put in a separate entrance so everything is done behind the scenes and the guests don’t have to be distracted while food is being brought in and prepared.I cannot say enough positive things about this venue or Darrell & Kim. They both went over and beyond what was expected to make this day perfect for my daughter. Everyone at the wedding had great things to say and could not believe how perfect everything turned out.You won’t be disappointed if you book your wedding at this venue. Thanks again Darrell & Kim for doing such a wonderful job with our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with the way things turned out. We miss you guys and hope to see you soon.

I LOVE this venue- we held our wedding in the smaller chapel/barn portion. The couple that runs it is so sweet, the husband is an Aggie and designed and built the venue with his wife. The wife is a former wedding florist. They have what feels like a Hobby Lobby warehouse full of decorations for every theme you could possibly dream of and a dedicated decorator to help you design your dream wedding. This venue is pretty close to town, but you would never know when all the trees are green with foliage. The bridal/groomsman suite was also perfect for preparing, and just mere steps from both the chapel and reception hall. I could go on and on about how much I love this venue, definitely a gem!!

We had our wedding at the Woods Site and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect! We received many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous the venue was. From the start the owners, Mr. Mays, his family and staff have been lovely to work with. They have all gone above and beyond in answering our questions and far exceeded our expectations. Heidi our decor consultant, was beyond amazing and so helpful! Skyler our day of coordinator, was more than I could have ever asked for! She is a rockstar, incredibly gracious and made our day run so smoothly. We will forever be grateful for her, she made our day magical! We highly recommend Bella Woods!

I can’t say enough about Bella Woods Venue. It is stunning. It is family owned and they are very hands on. They have a preferred vendor list that made the process so much easier. Every vendor I picks from the list was top notch. Planning a wedding can be very stressful as you will find out. The owners Daryl, Kim & Skyler wedding coordinator are so nice and helpful.

I can’t say enough about Bella Woods Venue. It is stunning. It is family owned and they are very hands on. They have a preferred vendor list that made the process so much easier. This was the first place we visited, and I knew it would be where we ended up getting married. It's tucked away from all the city noise, but just as beautiful as your fancy venues in the middle of the city. This place is so beautiful. The wooded area made for great pictures. The on site manager helped in anyway possible and also helped us decorate. They lead us and guided us through the pandemic in a safe way. Highly recommend them.

As Parents of the Bride, we wanted to make sure the setting was beautiful for our daughter and son-in-law. We found that at Bella Woods you get a personal touch, something you can not get from a corporate venue. I cannot thank them and their staff enough! Ever aspect of the Wedding was perfect. Our guest gave us so many compliments about the venue. The grooms room included cable TV and a pool table (my son and his friends took full advantage of). From floors to ceilings, this place is awesome inside and outside!

We had a Christmas wedding and everything turned out so beautiful. Darrell was extremely kind, accommodating, and easy to work with. He and his family made us feel right at home every time we talked or visited the venue to prepare for our day. I 100% recommend getting married at Bella Woods, I have so many sweet memories!

It didn’t take me more than the drive up to the office to know this place is where I was meant to get married. I got married on the Bella site which is incredibly dreamy. The owners were amazingly sweet and laid back people. The chapel has the perfect set up and ample getting ready space. I’m so happy I chose to have an indoor wedding and reception because it poured on my wedding day. The reception barn isn’t your average “party barn” at all, it’s extremely elegant and airy on the inside. There was plenty of space there for various things like the bar, photo booth, cake table, gift table, etc. I only toured the venue during the day but at night time it has really beautiful lighting. The exterior is stunning and has so many amazing photo spots. There was another wedding on the other site on my wedding day which wasn’t a problem at all (in case that might turn someone off from picking this place). It’s a bit pricy, but once you realize how much it costs to rent all that they provide it’s well worth it. I should also mention that one of the owners, Kim, offers rentals on-site (as a separate service). It was super convenient that she took care of the set up and tear down of those additional rentals, and her style is on point. She knew what I wanted better than I knew what I wanted and she has a ton of stuff to choose from for every style. If you book this venue, definitely reach out to her for the decor. I cannot get over how beautiful everything turned out!

The moment my fiancé and I drove into their beautiful property we had a good feeling about it. Both sites are absolutely breath taking and extremely unique! But I fell in love with the Sky Chapel and Bella Barn. The pictures don’t do it justice and when everything is decorated for your own special day it leaves you speechless! But what completely sold us was the sweet family who runs it. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your special day. They are truly the best! I never worried once about something going wrong because of them! My wedding was absolutely perfect because I had it at Bella Woods!

Everyone complimented how beautiful the venue was. I was a little worried about how close the Woods site was, but a lot of my guests mentioned they never even saw the other site. I would recommend looking at pictures from Facebook or Instagram for the decoration of the stage or tables and bring with you to the tour of the property. That way, you can get a complete quote for the property in the beginning. All in all, the property is stunning and I would highly recommend!

Our daughter had her wedding at the Bella Woods events center. We used the \"Woods\" part of the venue. They were awesome! The venue itself is beautiful. Daryl and Kim thought of everything when they built this venue. They went out of their way to make sure our daughter's wedding was exactly what she wanted. When we went out to the venue prior to the wedding to take my daughter's wedding portraits, Kim was gracious enough to \"whip\" up a beautiful flower bouquet for her to use in the photos. Our daughter had her wedding at the Bella Woods events center. We used the \"Woods\" part of the venue. They were awesome! The venue itself is beautiful. Daryl and Kim thought of everything when they built this venue. They went out of their way to make sure our daughter's wedding was exactly what she wanted. When we went out to the venue prior to the wedding to take my daughter's wedding portraits, Kim was gracious enough to \"whip\" up a beautiful flower bouquet for her to use in the photos. The worked with us through the entire process and we couldn't have been more pleased with them and the venue. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are professional and know what they're doing.

It has been a month a couple of weeks since I married the absolute love of my life. Since, we have gone on our wonderful honeymoon to Italy, we have received all of our beautiful pictures, and we have shared several laughs remembering our awesome night. I say all of this because NONE of this blissful happiness would be possible without Kim, Daryl, or Austin May and the beautiful venue that is Bella Woods. We shopped a couple of venues before we came across Bella Woods, and for each we just thought “we could find something cheaper”. Looking back, I now know, that was a subconscious excuse. Their prices range with the average cost of other venues; however I believe we didn’t book with the others because we were meant to book with Bella Woods. From the moment you step onsite, it feels like home, the Mays feel like family, and you just know this is where you are supposed to start the rest of your life. If the heartwarming stuff isn’t what sways your decision, their professionalism and accommodations should. They offer so much more than other venues: They have 2 onsite; the team was available the day of the wedding; they allowed as many visits as my nerves allowed prior to the day (as long as availability permitted); their kitchen was more than efficient; their bridal and groom suites were fun and functional; they have been in the wedding/ event business for years, and their knowledge, recommendations, and flexibility shows it! Their payment plan was everything this young couple could work with (especially considering we had just bought our first home). These are the people you want to do business with- this is the place you want to start your forever at! I have recommended this place over and over, and I will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Thank you Bella Woods!

Bella Bella Bella!!!!! This venue is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! The Chapel, barn, landscape etc!!!!! It's the type of venue that is beautiful all on it's own. If you left it bare it would still be amazing! But what I love most about Bella are the beautiful people behind it. Darrell, Kim and Austin were absolutely amazing to work with! Our guest are still talking about how nice it is! #DoorwayToDrummer

Darrell and Kim are AMAZING! They made my wedding day perfect, from renting us their beautiful table decorations to Darrell running sound at the ceremony (sorry again about that) they went the extra step to help us plan and pul off our wedding!

Alright, I don't even know how to BEGIN to describe my remarkable experience with The Bella Woods Wedding Venue but I'm going to give it a try:1. The moment I stepped onto the property I knew this is where I wanted to get married. It had the uniqueness that all the other venues did not. It had the fairytale magic that I had been looking for in the beautiful Sky Chapel and Elegant Barn Ballroom. The bridal suit was gorgeous with personal touches of antique furniture to really make you feel like a princess, with plenty of room for my 10 bridesmaids. Walking down the aisle in the chapel was a dream come true, the white pews and beautiful doors were literally something out of a fairytale. The barn was not at all what you expect, the outside has a deep rustic look but when you walk inside it transformed into a magnificat ball room. Plenty of room for dancing, cake cutting and the Aggie war hymn to be played (WHOOP).Each chandelier sparkled so bright I knew I had to have my happily ever after here. MY wedding was nothing short of gorgeous, stunning and perfect at the Bella Woods. 2. Kim and Darrel are the owners of the Bella Woods and created the venue themselves. I cannot speak highly enough of these two incredible humans, they made my day extraordinary through their kindness, attention to detail and genuine high spirits. They treated me like I was their own daughter, every meeting was productive and efficient and full of love and laughter! They are both the definition of professionalism and have the warmest hearts I have ever seen. Working with the two of them through my 9 month engagement was a TRUE gift and I was blessed to get to know them and the beautiful venue they have created together. If you are looking for a beautiful place to be married and to start your happily ever after, look no further The Bella Woods checked every box!

Bella Woods deserves more than 5 Stars!! First of all, Darryl & Kim, owners of the venue, were absolutely amazing. I felt like they truly cared about me & my wedding. Truly some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They made the experience that much better. We booked the Woods site when it was still under construction. But I just knew it was going to be beautiful. I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. It had the perfect rustic charm I wanted. The bridal suite was so adorable & the perfect room for me & my girls to get ready. The boys were able to play corn hole outside, which they were happy about! They had the fridges stocked in the suites with drinks for us, too! Both Darryl & Kim were on site the day of, making sure everything was running smoothly. The chapel is absolutely stunning. Everything was put together so thoughtfully. The reception barn is perfect. We were able to open up the “garage doors” and guests could mingle outside by the bar and under their gorgeous lights they have hung. We even had enough room for a live band & dance floor. I think my mom & I visited the venue about 6 times before the wedding, and each time Darryl & Kim were so happy to show us around & made us feel right at home. Darrell and Kim (owners) are seriously the best. After touring the beautiful venue, my then-fiance and I decided that's the place we had been looking for. Darrell went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and even gave a discount on the items we rented from the venue (flickering candles and gold chargers.) The day before the wedding, since they didn't have another event in the location we were using (they have two different sites) we were allowed to get most of our stuff set up, and Kim helped move items onto the stage area and assisted with fabric draping for a cross we were using. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous chapel and elegant barn. The front of the chapel doors looks like a picture from a fairy tale, and is the perfect setting for outdoor pictures. The groom suite had a pool table and tv, and the bridal suite had plenty of mirrors. Everything was open vendor, so you could use whomever you want, but they can provide recommendations if you are clueless where to start.I highly recommend using this venue. Darrell and Kim will do everything to help you, and they are so nice. They will go above and beyond to accommodate you and make your day special.PS: After returning from my honeymoon, I discovered one of my bridesmaids had accidentally packed a stack of the gold chargers I rented from the venue, thinking they were mine. I contacted Darrell, and when I returned them, instead of being upset or annoyed, he gave me a hug and asked about my honeymoon. You won't find this type of sincerity or understanding anywhere else.

Our experience with Bella Woods was incredible - they went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect wedding day! It's a fairly new venue that only opened earlier in 2017 and it has already been growing in popularity in the area. The beauty of the chapel and barn in the woods is hard to beat. I loved how the inside of the barn did not look so rustic because I'm not much of a country girl. The owner also did our flowers and decor and I almost cried when I saw how beautiful everything was! It was better than I could have hoped for! We were in good hands the whole time. The best thing about this venue is the owners. They know what they're doing and they are very personable and easy to work with - they really put your mind at ease! I'm so glad my mom found this place because I couldn't imagine a better spot for my wedding! No regrets at all! And to top it all off, the weather was beautiful and perfect for our wedding day! (November 19th)

I just had my wedding there on 11/11/17 and the venue is absolutely amazing! From the bridal and groom's suite, to the chapel and barn chandeliers...the thought and attention to detail at the venue is incredible! I loved that we had the venue all day, and everything was all in one location. Darrell was great to work with, and his wife Kim did our decor and florals which came out absolutely gorgeous! Her eye for design really made the day! I even hired their daughter Skyler to do my day-of coordinating and she was great too! This family is wonderful and knows what they are doing 100%!! If I had to give any cons, it was that linens were supposed to be included in the cost of the venue, but they didn't have white (which seemed strange for a wedding venue), so I ended up having to rent those elsewhere. Other than that, A+! You HAVE to come check this place out!
