We held our wedding ceremony & reception at Bellecourt and it was everything I imagined for our wedding day! When we started the process I knew I wanted to chose a venue that did it all (food, drinks, decor) and I’m so happy that we went with Bellecourt. We had a morning ceremony followed by a brunch reception and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and the venue is the epitome of classic/timeless vibes with the stain glass windows and cathedral ceilings. Cannot recommend this place enough! Reviewed on 24-06-2023

We held our daughter's wedding here on 6/17/23. The entire experience from beginning to end was fantastic! Tim, the owner /chef, was helpful & knowledgeable when answering all of our questions during the planning phase. On the day of the ceremony, the venue was beautiful, the wait staff was polite & professional & the brunch food was delicious! The venue has a spacious Bride's room and Groom's room for getting ready. There was also a great bar area, separate from the main venue for our guests. We have had so many guests say how lovely the wedding and reception were & how much they enjoyed it. The whole experience from beginning to end was just perfect! Thank you Tim & staff! Reviewed on 20-06-2023
Carissa Reitano(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2022 Wow! That was my first thought walking into Bellecourt Manor the day before my wedding and seeing our reception set up for the first time. We just cannot thank Tim and the wonderful staff at Bellecourt enough for such an amazing reception. Tim was very organized and the food was just out of this world. I can't reccomend this location enough because they truly made our dreams come true. Reviewed on 02-12-2022
Alexandra Holder(maid of honor)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-02-2021 We hosted my cousin's bridal shower at Bellecourt Place and it couldn't have been better! It turned out beautifully, and the food was fantastic, all while remaining reasonably priced. The owner, Tim, made the food that day and I can't say enough good things about it. The pies were baking while I was decorating and it smelled amazing, but tasted even better!! Tim also answered about 25 emails from me while I was planning, and he was always quick and helpful with his responses. He is probably one of the best vendors I have ever used for wedding/party stuff. I couldn't recommend this venue more! Reviewed on 25-10-2020
Jessica Murray(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-09-2020 We originally booked Bellecourt as our wedding venue for 9/18/2020 in November of 2019, then COVID hit. Tim was phenomenal and so understanding. When restrictions were placed on indoor dining, dancing, and bar service a little more than two weeks before our wedding in Southern Illinois, we ultimately changed our venue to my in-laws. Tim and Bellecourt still catered for our event and our guests loved the food!! The serving staff that attended our event were kind and hospitable and made the evening all the more wonderful. They arranged our cake and cupcakes for us as well, packed up to-go meals for us and our parents, and overall helped this COVID Bride stress a whole heck of a lot less. Reviewed on 21-09-2020

They have two facilities, a restored church and a larger, restored Masonic temple. Both are gorgeous and have unique features like stained glass windows and beautiful wood mouldings that give the buildings a class that can't be replicated in newer facilities. Their food is superb and Ellie will go over and above to help you make your event exactly as you dream it to be! Reviewed on 27-02-2019
Laura Smith(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-02-2019 The venue is unique, beautiful, and reasonably priced - exactly what my now-husband and I were looking for. We were married in the restored Baptist Church and held our reception in the restored Masonic Temple across the parking lot. The food is also wonderful and prepared in house by the owner, Tim. The only reason that I could not give 5 stars was because of the venue wedding coordinator. We provided our guests with a plated dinner and the choice of pork or chicken. We used stickers on the name tags to show who received which meal. I had emailed the sticker designation to the venue coordinator 2+ weeks in advance. About 10 minutes in to the guests being served, the venue coordinator asked me what the stickers meant. My guests were being served the completely wrong meal choice (as several of them told me) even though I had addressed this issue with the wedding coordinator. There were several other small things that were forgotten that I had previously addressed. Overall, the experience was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend this venue, but make sure to keep track of everything. Reviewed on 22-02-2019
Ali Willoughby(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-04-2016 Bellecourt Banquet Center did a phenomenal job with my wedding on 4/16/16. The manager Ellie Miller was very prompt with reply emails and phone calls. She met with a several times prior to the wedding and allowed us to see the inside of the venue ample times. The serving staff the night of the wedding also did a fantastic job. No beer bottles, dishes, etc. were ever left on the tables. The staff even allowed my husband and I to be served dinner while others got up for buffet style dinner. This was extremely helpful as we had a lot of guests to mingle with and allowed us to eat quickly. I would highly recommend Bellecourt to anyone in the Belleville, Fairview Heights, O'Fallon, IL areas!!! Reviewed on 05-05-2016
Erin Mayor(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2013 We had a rather small reception (less than 150 people) at Bellecourt Place. The facility was more than willing to help us out. We were able to set up and decorate the hall on Friday before our Saturday reception and had as much time as we needed. The food was excellent and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the reception was. Bellecourt made my dream wedding come true! Reviewed on 15-07-2013

The owner, Tim, is a great help and helps you organize your ideas and puts everything into ensuring your day is everything you want it to be. No matter what food you choose, you are guaranteed to not be disappointed. The lobby was great for our cocktail hour and the reception area was a perfect backdrop for the party. \r\rI would definitely recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! Loved every bit of it. Sarah Hangsleben(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-03-2012 Bellecourt is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL location for a wedding reception! The food, drink, decorations, everything was fabulous! Management was difficult to get in touch with at times (specifically Time, the owner) -- I often found myself placing several phone calls and waiting for a response that never came, but overall it was a great experience and there is no where else in Belleville that would have been as beautiful of a choice. The food was amazing and they worked hard to help us set up, but they had to because they booked an event for the morning of my wedding which meant I couldn't be there to help set up. In fact, by the time they let us into the venue, we were in the middle of the ceremony, so I had to trust that they would set things up the way I wanted. They did a fine job, but there were things I would have done differently and I really wish I could have been there to oversee everything! In all they did a good job and I would recommend them to a friend. Reviewed on 09-07-2012

John Cunningham(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-01-2012 We had our daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception here on New Year’s Day. The event went off without a hitch. The food was fabulous, the facilities were just perfect. We used one venue for the ceremony and the other for the reception, if given the opportunity we highly recommend this as the old church makes for a nice traditional wedding site and the old Masonic Lodge makes for an exceptional and elegant reception. That said, each in their own right will work well for a wedding and reception, we lucked out in being able to use both since it was New Years Day and we were the only event that day. It was very convenient for our many out of town guests to come to one location for both the ceremony and reception. The facilities were beautifully decorated for the holidays, making it the perfect look for a winter wedding (it’s also very elegantly decorated the rest of the year). The value was exceptional, everything including the bar was included in the price and Tim did an exceptional job with the food. My biggest gripe at weddings is the cost for what is typically institutional quality food, that WAS NOT the case here, the food was delightful…our guests said the same. They gave us plenty of time to decorate the hall and church prior to the event and the staff made sure that everything went smoothly. You won’t go wrong selecting them as your caterer and if you’re looking for a venue Bellecourt can stand with the best St Louis has to offer and a much better price. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the St Louis area! Reviewed on 29-01-2012
Andrea Markwardt(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2010 Bellecourt Manor exceeded our expectations. Tim Faltus was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Bellecourt Manor is a very large and comfortable reception venue. The reception room has beautiful architecture and is very roomy. We liked that the bar and cocktail area was in the library. Everyone loved the reception. The only bad thing is that there are no hotels close to the reception venue, but Bellecourt does offer a free shuttle service to one hotel during the reception. The prices are extremely reasonable. Reviewed on 02-11-2010

Bellecourt Banquet Center opened in 1994 and was the brainchild of Tim and Shari Faltus. They saw the need for a venue devoted entirely to wedding receptions and two historic buuildings located next door to each other filled the bill perfectly.Tim serves as owner and executive chef at Bellecourt thus ensuring queality and value for all events. His two daughters Libbi and Katie help him as well. Local restauranteur Ellie Miller joined the team in 2007 as Banquet Manager and has personally overseen hundreds of successful receptions.
