Bellevue Golf Club is a countryside wedding venue situated in Melrose, MA. Bellevue is a hidden gem in the beautiful town of Melrose, just eight miles north of Boston. The club features outdoor event space with spectacular views, ceremony sites on the golf course, and beautiful function rooms inside. You can celebrate your love story in a scenic and relaxed setting, surrounded by those you love. Bellevue Golf Club hosts both intimate and large receptions for between 40 to 130 guests. You can begin your big day making your way to the outdoor ceremony site on the first hole. Afterward enjoy cocktail hour on our patio overlooking the 9th hole. Receptions are held in our Bellevue dining room. This historic ballroom is characterized by large windows overlooking the grounds, ambient lighting, and tasteful interiors. Our Fairway Lounge is perfect for cocktail hour inside and casual receptions and can be combined with the Bellevue Room for larger occasions. Bellevue Golf Club offers customized wedding catering packages designed to match all event styles, from cocktail parties to formal plated meals. We had our wedding here and it was an absolute dream. Everyone is still raving about the food. The staff is absolutely incredible especially Taylor, our coordinator. She was hands on and so so helpful every step of the way. All of my questions (no matter how small) were answered promptly and in depth. They really put as much care into your wedding as you do, and they helped bring our vision to life. Every detail was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend hosting your wedding or any event at Bellevue Golf Club, I promise you won’t regret it!!!!

We had our wedding here and it was an absolute dream. Everyone is still raving about the food. The staff is absolutely incredible especially Taylor, our coordinator. She was hands on and so so helpful every step of the way. All of my questions (no matter how small) were answered promptly and in depth. My husband and I could not be more pleased with Bellevue. Taylor was so attentive to our needs and was wonderful. Taylor did everything she could to ensure we had our wedding outdoors like we wanted. Bellevue is the perfect location for a wedding. Also pepper was amazing he secured our arch outdoors and was so friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Perfect 10/10!

The event staff and mangers go above and beyond to make your vision work. The staff were incredible thinking of our needs before we could. Including a staff member running to me with an umbrella as it started to rain. All staff at Bellevue were extremely helpful from start to finish in helping us to plan our wedding. Alyssa and Taylor were prompt in their replies throughout the entire process, and despite our need to plan our wedding from a distance (as we were living overseas in the months leading to the wedding) they worked diligently with us and with close family to help us to pull off the perfect wedding reception that we will never forget. The venue itself is beautiful, with the sprawling and well kept golf course, outdoor patio for cocktail hour, main upper room with panorama window views and balcony, and bar room opposite the function room. The venue provides a perfect atmosphere for a wedding reception, and we had ample space for our 90 guests (with extra room!), as well as a live band and dance floor. The food was delicious, servers were polite and prompt, and all other staff with whom we interacted were kind and professional. I can go on, but you get the idea ;) Thanks again to the entire Bellevue team for helping to provide us with such an amazing day for our wedding. All the best. - David and May

I will recommend Bellevue Golf Club to anyone I know that is planning an event! Taylor was absolutely amazing to work with from day 1. Everything went flawlessly on our wedding day. The staff is very friendly, the Bellevue room is gorgeous and the views of the golf course are outstanding. All of our guests had a fantastic time and couldn’t stop raving about the venue.

I don't know where to begin but our wedding at the Bellevue Gold Club was the best!! Alyssa went above and beyond for us the entire time. I booked my wedding almost 2 years ago and she has always been in communication with me whenever I had a question. My guests had such an amazing time and loved everything about the wedding. The food was the talk of the town. The baked Haddock was a BIG hit. Alyssa and everyone at The Bellevue made us feel like family, she remembered everyone's name who was in the bridal party too. They were so attentive to us. I wish I could relive this moment over and over again. Words cant express how happy I was to have had our wedding there. When we went for the tour Alyssa was one of the main reasons why we booked , right away I felt like she was my friend and listened to every detail. My only regret is not realizing or knowing I could've extended the wedding by 1 hour. Thank you Alyssa and everyone at the Bellevue Golf Club- The Avalos

The venue was gorgeous, the food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and Taylor was so flexible and helpful throughout the entire planning process. I cannot say enough about how happy we were with how the day turned out - and a big thank you to the Bellevue team for pulling off the decor to our vision. We brought the bouquets in for centerpieces and they had to do some set up work on our behalf and it all turned out really beautiful. My only complaint is one Taylor knows - we would like to have had a pass for golf. Other such golf clubs in the area do offer this to those who pay for weddings and it was something my fiancé had really wanted. That small bit of feedback being said, we had a wonderful wedding and I would recommend anyone to Bellevue.

First let me say, Taylor and Alyssa are amazing. They answer every question and give helpful advice. The venue as a whole is so beautiful especially the dining room which has just been redone! It is so reasonably priced and comparing with the 10 other venues we toured, it was a no brainer to pick Bellevue. If all of that isn’t enough to convince you to have your event here, the food is amazing. Every one of my guests had such good things to say about the food. I would give 10 stars if I could!

First let me say, Taylor and Alyssa are amazing. They answer every question and give helpful advice. The venue as a whole is so beautiful especially the dining room which has just been redone! We just had our wedding at Bellevue on 10/2/21 and I cannot say enough great things about Alyssa and the rest of the crew! Since day one, they were attentive, accommodating, flexible, and super nice. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. Alyssa and Taylor went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was hot, on time, and DELICIOUS (seriously, everyone raved about it). It is a beautiful venue and landscape, and as a couple that was mostly paying for their own wedding, it was affordable. We will definitely be back to Bellevue for future events!

Where do I even begin!? The setting at Bellevue, the dedicated staff, and the events manager Alyssa all came together to ensure that we had our dream wedding. This unassuming country club tucked away in a suburban neighborhood of Boston is a true hidden gem! Their prices are relatively affordable compared to other local venues, their staff is beyond attentive, and their food is mouth-watering. The club doesn’t host that many weddings compared to other big function venues and the actual reception room seems a bit small at first, so we were a little nervous, but these ended up not being issues. In fact, because we weren't in an expansive ballroom or barn, the room felt intimate. The Bellevue team is skilled at carrying out events and their event space fit our wedding of 87 comfortably. It’s lovely how they have an outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour space, plus indoor reception & bar area so guests can move & mingle throughout the venue all night without ever feeling stuffy. Alyssa was truly phenomenal throughout the planning process, she always helpfully answered every request we had. I highly recommend booking your wedding (or any function!) at Bellevue Golf Club. You won’t regret it!!

attended a bridal shower here and was wearing heels and a dress and carrying a large box and was extremely rudely told that my fiancee couldn't drop me off at the door because there was a golf tournament. Really horrible service and rude parking lot staff. I had to walk uphill in my heels with a box after being yelled at by the older man in the golf cart. I would NEVER host an event here because of how they treat guests

She went above and beyond and has the best personality! Her intern Taylor was awesome as well!!! We loved everyone so much. The food is the best it is to die for. The service on our wedding day was just the amazing everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I honestly can’t say enough to do this venue justice we don’t have one bad thing to say! We could not have chosen a more perfect venue than Bellevue! We currently live out of state and initially I was nervous about planning the wedding when being so far away. But my nerves were quickly put to rest as the Bellevue team was incredible to work with from day one to our special day. When we began planning Alyssa made it so easy to coordinate with to bring our special day to life! Our line of communication was aways open, which was extremely beneficial since we were so far away. She would always remind me of things I may have mentioned in previous discussions and had forgotten about, while also contributing some great advice, tips and tricks. All of our guests were raving about the food, it was truly delicious! There is a lot to coordinate when planning a wedding, but the Bellevue team made us feel that we were in great hands and treated us like family. Our special day was everything we had dreamed of and can’t thank Alyssa and her team enough for helping bring it to life!We highly recommend this venue!

Alyssa and her staff at the Bellevue golf club made our wedding a very memorable one. Alyssa was very involved and accommodating from our first meeting all the way up until our wedding day. Every email and call was returned. The grounds were impeccable and we can’t say enough about the food, everything was really good. The club was gracious enough to allow us the facilities to meet and get ready for church. The staff followed us around making sure everything was perfect and made sure we had food and drink, stuff that usually gets overlooked. Alyssa was there until the very end overseeing and helped us pack up remaining things. The club should be very proud of her dedication. She takes her job serious and does not go unnoticed . We look forward to working with her in the future.Thank you again for everything !

I would strongly recommend Bellevue Golf Club for any couple looking to get married in the Boston area. The venue is beautiful, especially at sunset. We had our ceremony outside and then the reception in their gorgeous, scenic restaurant room. The price is definitely one of the most affordable we could find, and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend the steak, and the coconut shrimp. Alyssa, the coordinator, is extremely friendly, sweet, and professional, and all her staff was wonderful to us. One small issue we had is that we got married at 5 pm and the golf activities were still going on while we were prepping the space/getting ready, so we had to set up very quickly and deal with a couple of grumpy elderly golf club members (most of them were nice, though). If I were to do it over, perhaps I would opt to start a bit later. But still, I would 100% pick this venue again.

The Bellevue Golf Club make our Wedding Day everything we dreamed of! The ceremony was held on the golf course and the grounds were gorgeous, followed by the cocktail hour on the patio! The banquet room is elegant and when you add the extra touches it really looked amazing. The food was incredible and our guests are still raving about it. It is gourmet quality and the banquet wait staff were so friendly and on top of everything.Alyssa, the Banquet Manager, is the sweetest person ever! She helped us with all the planning and was with us the entire day until the end to make sure everything went as planned. We had our wedding on January 20, 2018. We and all our guests had the best time ever at Bellevue. (Seriously, we're being told to have another wedding cause this first one was so fun!)We had both our ceremony and reception there. Did a sunset ceremony in the same room where the reception would be held. Lots of windows and mirrors. I had many compliments with how beautiful the room was for the ceremony and it was exactly what I had hoped for.Alyssa and all of the wait staff were very helpful and friendly during the entire process. Alyssa turned into a friend in this process- I'm not sure many people can say that about their coordinator!What you receive for the wedding package is very reasonable compared to all of the other places we looked and especially the fact that the price doesn't change for more popular time of the year (we just wanted a winter wedding but I liked that the price was the same regardless). The food is absolutely incredible. For our cocktail hour we did bacon wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp and pistachio crusted chicken fingers. Our entrees were grilled sirloin, baked haddock with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Our vegetarian option was butternut squash ravioli. All of the food was incredibly delicious. The sheet cake that is a part of the package is from Sweet Spot Bakery in Melrose and seriously, just stop reading this and go get some treats from there. Their cake is so good!I would highly recommend Bellevue for a wedding. It's a hidden gem in the Boston area!

We had our wedding on January 20, 2018. We and all our guests had the best time ever at Bellevue. (Seriously, we're being told to have another wedding cause this first one was so fun!)We had both our ceremony and reception there. Did a sunset ceremony in the same room where the reception would be held. Lots of windows and mirrors. I had many compliments with how beautiful the room was for the ceremony and it was exactly what I had hoped for.Alyssa and all of the wait staff were very helpful and friendly during the entire process. Alyssa turned into a friend in this process- I'm not sure many people can say that about their coordinator!What you receive for the wedding package is very reasonable compared to all of the other places we looked and especially the fact that the price doesn't change for more popular time of the year (we just wanted a winter wedding but I liked that the price was the same regardless). The food is absolutely incredible. For our cocktail hour we did bacon wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp and pistachio crusted chicken fingers. We wanted to share that we had an excellent experience at Bellevue Golf Club for our October 2017 wedding reception. Alyssa, the Event Director, was amazing and so easy to work with. She made the wedding planning stress-free and honestly I'm kind of sad that we don't get to work with her anymore. She was a sweetheart and had great attention to detail.The food at Bellevue was delicious!! We had a lot of guests with different food allergies as well as diet restrictions and Bellevue was able to make everyone's experience enjoyable. We received many compliments on the food selection and the quality. The staff was very friendly, they were quick bringing out the food to our guests and clearing the tables. The reception turned out beautiful and ran very smoothly. We couldn't have asked for anything better! I would definitely recommend Bellevue Golf Club for any future brides or for any special functions you may have.

I was married at The Bellevue on 12/9/17, in the mist of a snowstorm, and everything was unbelievably perfect. It is now a month later and family and friends are still sending me messages about their amazing meals. I had one guest that is on a gluten free diet and she told me she felt like she was being treated like a queen that day! They made sure she had everything everybody else had and constantly keep checking on her. I’ve heard from multiple guests telling me how friendly ALL of the staff is there!We got married at Christmas time so the club was beautifully decorated with poinsettias, wreaths,candles and a Christmas tree. My pictures were beautiful with all of this as a backdrop. Now to Alyssa. You will never find a kinder, more accommodating, and organized event planner! She helped us through every step of the process with a smile. No question is ever too small for her. Due to my fiancé’s work schedule we had to keep postponing our tasting, but Alyssa made it work for us!!! She made a special time for us to come in and always made us feel special. On the day of the wedding she kept me calm as the snow came down and organized our wedding party as they came in from the storm. It was a perfect day thanks to everyone at The Bellevue!!

Stop looking elsewhere and just go with Bellevue. The team was amazing throughout the whole planning process, guests loved the food, it was completely in budget (we believe we got a \"steal of a deal\" based on numbers we got from other venues we looked at), and everyone had a great time. It's a hidden gem in our backyards- when I told people we were having the wedding here most didn't even think it was a wedding place and were they wrong! We had an gorgeous backdrop for photos and our cocktail hour was outside on the patio and guests had a great time overlooking the golf course while sipping on amazing cocktails. We had about 100 guests and everyone moved around from mingling in the lounge to the dance floor to the upper deck.For cocktail hour we had 3 passed apps: bacon wrapped scallops, veggie spring rolls, and marinara meatballs along with a station of spinach dip, cheese, fruits, veggies and pita chips (we did a half order of two different stations)- and it was all gone at the end of cocktail hour! Upstairs we served chicken, baked haddock and pasta primavera. My chicken was amazing and everyone else raved about their meals also. We swapped the cake for cupcakes and those were gone also! Usually dessert is just sort of left hanging and that wasn't the case. The late night bites of sliders and fried mac & cheese bites hit the spot after a night of drinking and dancing for our guests.

Bellevue was an AMAZING site for our wedding. We worked very closely with their wedding coordinator and she made sure everything met our needs. To making adjustments, to respecting our budget, to being there from start to finish the day of, she was wonderful! The food is the number one comment we had gotten from guests, it was just delicious. We offered tuscan chicken and their petite filet to guests and there were barely any leftovers. We even got our own tray of passed hors d'ourves while we were taking pictures so we didn't miss out (ordered thai basil beef skewers, spring rolls and empanadas...BEYOND good). One of my biggest concerns was the space. It is definitely an intimate space and we had about 100 guests. I didn't think there would be room for all the tables, for our guests to walk around, or for a dance floor. I was so wrong! The bar space allowed guests to get a drink and spend time there with tall tables, while the dance floor was always full. Once we arrived, I knew all my worries were honestly for nothing. We may have not always gotten an email back after sending a request, but it was always heard and acted upon. It is truly a hidden gem and I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning an event. You will not be disappointed.

Alyssa Battista & Taylor Messina (Coordinator) Alyssa is thrilled to embark on her 8th season as Event Director at Bellevue Golf Club. And Taylor is delighted to be going into her 4th season at Bellevue as an Event Coordinator and now Director of Food & Beverage! 2023 has been a record event year filled with many happy Brides & Grooms!
