Towering in Baltimore, MD, the Belvedere & Co. Events center provides a historic wedding venue teeming with grace and charm. In 1903, the Belvedere was built as Baltimore’s first luxury hotel. Historically it was the go-to location for society elite and to this day stands as an alluring location. Among the legendary guests that dined and stayed here are the Queen of Romania and former presidents of the United States. It’s largest room is able to seat up to 300 guests, perfect for large affairs. Smaller rooms, such as the Owl Bar and Palm Ballroom can host up to 90 people for a more intimate setting. The Owl Bar features the same historic elegance found throughout the rest of the hotel, but with a slightly more casual twist. Its history goes all the way back to the Prohibition era, giving it a 1920s feel.
The Belvedere is overflowing with stories and a rich history, which is hinted at through it’s antique furnishings. Upscale, rooms are decorated with deep golds and landscape friezes for a classical look. In the John Eager Howard Ballroom, an ornate and sculptural fireplace soars toward the colorfully draped ceiling, adding visual interest. I first visited the Belvedere in 2015, and fell in love. When I got engaged in December 2022, I knew exactly where I wanted to get married, and thankfully, it fit within our budget. I married my husband on 11/3/2023. The Belvedere is absolutely gorgeous. I wanted a venue that didn’t require a lot when it came to decor. The rooms have their own natural appeal/character. Belvedere’s event planning team is professional, responsive, and organized. It was great that a day of wedding coordinator was included. My only complaint is the food. We ended up having to schedule a second tasting because we were not pleased with the selections we originally tried. I still give the venue 5-stars though because they listened to our feedback and were willing to make changes to how they cooked the food to accommodate us. Besides that, we had a great experience. My now-husband and I got married on October 21 in the Grand Ballroom of the Belvedere. Everything about the evening was absolutely magical! Our guests were absolutely stunned at the ballroom and raved about how it was the best wedding they have ever been too! Being on the 12th floor was fantastic because we had it all to ourselves and there was a stairwell directly to the 13th floor where our after party was held! The Belvedere was an absolutely dream as a venue and I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a Baltimore wedding.The space is gorgeous and the team is incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. There are many different options to choose from for layouts in the spaces at all price ranges and the team communicates clearly throughout planning. The team was also flexible and willing to work with us when concerns did arise and was very responsive to questions we had. The vendors they recommend are incredibly professional and have a very high level of experience working in the space. Lastly the food was fantastic - all of our guests were highly complementary.The day of the wedding my expectations were absolutely exceeded - we were blown away at how beautiful all of the spaces were. The event team was at the ready throughout the event - bringing drinks to my husband and I + our families, collecting gifts and generally being extremely helpful. They are all extremely friendly and seemed to be having fun as well as taking their role very seriously.I highly recommend The Belvedere - building and the events team have a special place in our entire families heart. We couldn't have asked for a better venue in Baltimore to get married. The staff and customer service alone were spectacular. From day one, we felt like the Belvedere paid attention to our needs and helped everything go as smoothly as possible. The day of the wedding was truly beautiful. We were shocked at how everything turned out. Dozens of guests said our venue was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they had ever seen. We couldn't agree more. I read these positive reviews before booking and was incredibly disappointed to have a different experience. Future brides; and please read our warning and save yourself the disappointment. Venue specific feedback: It was incredibly hot and humid inside the building. One of the main reasons we chose this venue was because we wanted to be out of the heat but everyone ended up sweating bullets because apparently the building i/ too old to cool properly. They didn’t even have the air on in the parlor suite where we got ready so makeup was melting off as it was being applied. We were incredibly uncomfortable and the humidity turned my hair into a frizzy mess that was super frustrating. I would absolutely not recommend a summer event at the Belvedere for that reason. It has all the drawbacks of an outdoor space with none of the benefits. Reception specific feedback:I paid around $600 for fruit and cheese displayed appetizer and multiple guests got rotten berries. Strawberries with obvious ugly brown spots. I thought my friend must be mistaken but then I went over and I got rotten fruit too. I would never serve that in my home and was incredibly disappointed to serve it at our wedding.We paid around 600 for a single baked Brie en croute pastry that our guests had to cut themselves. I’m assuming it wasn’t sliced because then it would have been even more obvious that that isn’t 40 servings. We had small plates fish and short rib for the dinner portion. I was charged for each guest to have one of each but when they went to be served the server made them choose beef or fish giving guests the impression they could only have one. They should have been in offered beef fish or both that’s what I paid for. I paid for double the food that guests were actually offered. I also paid for two attendants but every time I looked over, there was only one. There was a bunch of nickel and diming over petty things. Example: the microphone for the ceremony and reception was an additional rental fee of $75 each. I was charged $200 for a table for dessert (that we had already paid the baker to set up). At that point just raise the venue rental fee with the initial quote. I don’t want to deal with petty charges like that. I had enough to think about. I was happy on my wedding day. I’ll have good memories of my wedding, but I would absolutely never recommend this venue to anyone. Maybe our 13k fee wasn’t big enough for them to bring out the 5 star experience but our wedding was hot sticky and just generally below expectation. Reviewed on 02-07-2023

I was stress-free the whole wedding day because I knew we were in their hands. They helped us plan throughout the year leading up to the wedding, advised us on vendors, and other tips and tricks. My husband and I are architects and you can't do any better than the Belvedere in all of Baltimore. The Belvedere does so many weddings so they know have the process down to a science. It's a little pricey but it is worth it to not stress. We looked at venues that provided no services, just an empty space but by the time you hired all the different venues, it was cheaper to do the Belvedere. We initially thought we would have a wedding of 150+ guests, but due to COVID uncertainty and financial reasons, decided to cut the guest list in half to 80. Not only was Taylor quick to adjust our estimate for the cost of the venue and catering, but she was quick to find us the perfect location as well; instead of having our ceremony and reception in one of the ballrooms as initially planned, we had our ceremony and cocktail hour in the Platinum Ballroom, and the reception on the 13th floor. From the moment we reached out to tour the venue, the team at the Belvedere was organized, dedicated to making our vision come to life, and genuinely seemed to care about our wedding day from the very beginning. We never needed to worry about when payments were due, when we were supposed to choose our menu, etc.--Taylor was always on top of it and made sure we knew if we should schedule a meeting, if we had any decisions to finalize, etc. Honestly could not have asked for a better experience or wedding day. We had an unexpected March snowstorm blow through and the Belvedere was incredibly accommodating letting us come in early for a first look- they have plan A B and C for everything. The planning process with Lindsay was seamless from viewing the space, to deciding on what package and details, to the day of. At no point of the process, was I stressed or overwhelmed with the Belvedere as a vendor, as they made everything easy and straightforward. Lindsay and her team were great a communicating and answers any questions we had. Taylor was our day of coordinator and she did an amazing job as well. We had met across the street at Brewer's Art, frequented the Owl Bar for date nights, and loved the charm and elegance of the historic building. After one tour, we knew we had made up our minds. The Grand and Platinum ballrooms on the 12th Floor were breathtaking, offered amazing views of the city, and privacy for the duration of our event. Through two Covid postponements, Lindsey and her team were absolutely AMAZING- flexible, reassuring and understanding. Brooke, our coordinator, made every aspect, from the tasting to getting the final guest onto the elevator, an absolute DREAM. When one of our vendors was late arriving, she did not stop trying to get in contact, and ensured that the small snafu did not disrupt the day in any way. The entire staff was attentive and friendly throughout the night, and the food was absolutely out of this world- our guests had only wonderful things to say! My grandmother, it turns out, attended her senior prom in the exact same ballroom in 1956. She said that she doesn't remember having that much fun since that night! If you’ve ever been to The Belvedere, you already know it is an absolutely gorgeous, elegant, timeless, and historic venue. There are so many beautiful rooms available and the best part is you can book as many as you want to meet the needs of your wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Owl Bar, ceremony in the Grand, cocktail hour as John Eager Howard, reception in the Charles, and after party on the 13th Floor Lounge. Every single room was perfectly set for our event and our guests really enjoyed having everything in a single location. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was and how it was one of the nicest weddings they’ve been to. Planning with them was a breeze. They were always available via e-mail, quick to reply, transparent with pricing, and both professional and friendly. They worked well with our vendors and everything went smoothly and as planned. Taylor was our day of coordinator and we truly owe her everything. She made sure we were prepared with everything, helped us stay on timeline, made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, and talked us through everything the day of to make sure the nerves didn’t get the best of us (re: how do you even cut a wedding cake?). I think I’m the only bride who actually ate and drank at her wedding because Taylor was there, following us with appetizers while we took pictures and handing me gin and lemonades all night! The food was really good; I don’t really like seafood but I ended up eating the salmon because it was so delicious. Wedding planning can be stressful- the Belvedere crew made it easy. They continuously went above and beyond in all areas to make sure we were prepared and were planning the wedding of our dreams. We were supposed to be married in July 2020 but had to postpone due to COVID. Belvedere and Co. allowed us to simply choose a new date in July 2021 and move our wedding, no extra fees or questions asked. They provided so much peace of mind during a difficult year and made the postponing process extremely easy. They arranged for us to have a second menu tasting since a year had passed and always responded to emails and questions promptly. We loved our experience so much that we changed some original plans we had for a rehearsal dinner in order to have it on the 13th Floor, and what a great decision that was! From the rehearsal dinner through our reception, our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the spaces were, how delicious the food was, and how kind and attentive the servers were. I truly cannot recommend them enough! In addition to all of that, we were also so lucky to have Brooke as our event coordinator. She also went above and beyond and was attentive and ready from the rehearsal dinner through the end of the reception! She kept our worries and stresses at ease and allowed for the truly perfect wedding to occur. She event set up a private cocktail hour in the bridal parlor for my fiance' and I to take a moment and soak everything in after the ceremony. As a COVID bride who changed our original date 3 times, Brooke made it as smooth and easy as possible. When the day finally came, any minor issue that came to play, she took care of. My now husband and I can honestly say that it was the absolute perfect wedding, better than we could have ever imagined it, and Brooke was a major role in that. She was professional, flexible, calm, and her attention to details was impressive. Having had to postpone the wedding for a year due to COVID-19, she still reached out to my daughter for any changes needed to be made and/or questions needed answered. We had some special requests for the reception which she easily dealt with, and the event went off with one issue. She was attentive to the bride and groom throughout the night and made transitions go smoothly. Everyone (142 people) who attended were impressed with the beauty of the venue, the delicious food, and the courteous staff. And at the end of the night, Taylor coordinated and helped with gathering up all personal items, gifts, flowers, etc. (Things I didn’t even think about) I would highly recommend The Belvedere. Originally we were supposed to have a 150 person wedding (in April 2020), but Belvedere helped us re-plan our event to just 15 people. They helped us still have everything we dreamed of, just on a smaller scale.Their staff was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE - we can not say enough good things about them. The servers and bartender did a phenomenal job making sure everything about our day was perfect. They were so attentive and kind, and were instrumental in making the day what it was. It felt like they were there celebrating with us!Brooke, our planner, was very helpful and organized throughout the entire process (planning the wedding twice, basically), and make sure everything was accounted for. She made sure the entire day ran smoothly, and assisted us in modifying a timeline that worked best for us given the smaller-than-expected attendance. They sent reminder emails for scheduling and during the tasting we were able to go over most of the details. This helped me out to know the things we needed to plan such as if we were going to have framed pictures and any signs. The custom table layout really helped me to envision how our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception would be able to be done all in the same room (John Eager Howard room). We were married at the Belvedere 8/8/2020. Despite the pandemic, the Belvedere team was able to adapt and made our small wedding very special. Instead of appetizer table displays during cocktail hour, it was individually portioned and passed. The food was outstanding. Our guests raved about it. The team had many safety protocols, masks, santizer, small tables, in place due to the pandemic. The level of professionalism was excellent. We were supposed to have a dedicated wedding planner. No dedicated staff member has introduced themselves as the wedding planner. Instead we have been in contact with multiple different staff members. We were also supposed to receive an E planning document and an electronic seating chart. I had to ask for these documents and still have not received the electronic seating chart. We simply only want to utilize the services we are paying for. We are worried that a resurgence of COVID-19 will affect our wedding. We reached out to the venue just to get an explanation on their policies regarding COVID-19. They do not have any specific policies regarding COVID-19. Instead they use an existing policy of force majeure. The supervisor admitted she did not understand the force majeure clause very well and she cannot tell us any more than what we could read ourselves on our contract. I asked what would happen if no more than 10 people are allowed to congregate in one place (which is the state mandate currently). The supervisor’s answer was ‘I don’t know.’ The venue said they were willing to work with us, but when we asked if we could decrease our guest account or change our date the venue refused. We are expected to keep paying for a service where the end product is not guaranteed. I understand nobody can predict the future, however it would make us feel better to know the venue has policies in place protecting our investment and a willingness to work with clients and sadly that is not the case. I have to say everything leading up to the event was great. The team was responsive, my wedding planner was phenomenal (Broke Stiner) and I was very pleased with how things were going. Coat check was some how left out of our invoice so we had to tack on a $200.00 expense to our very tight budget a few days before our event which I think could have been avoided but other than this we were so pleased. Due to the pandemic we had 18 people who did not show and most of which either did not tell us until right before our wedding or sometime during. We spoke to management about honoring a compensation for the unserved guests and refunding 10 out of the 18 guests due to the extraordinary circumstances. I explained to management that things were going to be very hard for us financially after the wedding due to the pandemic and that we wouldn't ask for all 18 guests refunded but at least 10. At about $200.00 a plate it was going to make a big difference for us to have that money back in our pockets and after all those guests did not show, food and drink were not provided and the circumstances were out of our control. I was told that because the team still had to put on our wedding that refunding 10 plates wouldn’t be fair to the staff. But this is the exact reason that wedding venues charge service fees! They figured refunding 5 out of the 18 plates was fair and never replied back to my last email pleading with them. I think further consideration could have been given to us because of this unprecedented time. I was shocked at how such a prestigious venue reacted in a situation like this. Reviewed on 02-05-2020

It was the first venue she looked at and it was truly love at first sight! As a Baltimore native myself, I had always dreamed of a wedding there, and all of our expectations and wishes were met beyond our wildest expectations. Our 'day of' coordinator was incredible: calm, organized, oversaw the tiniest mishap (a broken bridesmaid's strap!) to the more egregious (divorced parents who do not speak!) with charm and dignity. She was AMAZING! The venue itself is beyond gorgeous and so, so elegant. I cannot thank the entire staff at the Belvedere & Co. enough for providing the most perfect and beautiful backdrop for the happiest day in my child's life. My now wife and I were dead set on getting married in Baltimore, on our first day of scheduling appointments with vendors the Belvedere was out second stop. We knew we found the place. Not only is the location amazing, the staff and what they have to offer made our wedding experience easy and fun! Everyone there always put us at ease. They are a full stop shop, offering the venues, food and beverages to even donuts desserts! Like other venues they had a preferred vendor list, which seems they choose other vendors that match their style as fun and easy to work with. My wife and I were thrilled to have our wedding at the Belvedere, it met and went beyond our expectations. I would like to point out a few staff who really helped, Kat Philgreen and Vanessa (my apologies as I don't know her last name) these two women really helped us along the process and made our experience amazing! The sales process was so easy with various wedding packages to choose from and Belvedere & Co let us know exactly what was needed to have our ceremony and reception in the Charles ballroom. There was an online planning packet, which was great to have one place for all the important dates, reminders, and details for the day. Belvedere & Co made sure our wedding day went smoothly and kept the show running so my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Our day-of coordinator was super attentive and even helped me bustle my dress.The only downsides were a bit of a snafu with the tasting where we were given one of the wrong appetizers, not getting a follow up email we were promised summarizing the decisions discussed at the tasting, receiving mixed messages about disposal of our floral centerpieces, and being double charged for guests under 13 (this was corrected). We also preferred to stay away from any inclement weather woes so we decided to look at indoor options that offered reception and ceremony areas. We found the Belvedere after a six month search and knew that it was our venue of choice right away. The events team at the Belvedere made things simple, stress-free, and straightforward. The Belvedere's wedding packages are simple and to the point. Our guests continue to rave about how beautiful our wedding was. The only downside was the reception food, BUT, when you have nearly 200 guests, how good can a plated dinner be? They were often one step ahead of us when we requested something, including having our meals to us right away after our first dance so we had more time to meet and greet with guests! We were skeptical about the fact that you start off with one person, then meet a second, and a third..and then you do not meet the day of coordinator until the rehearsal, but in the end, everything was perfect! Jennifer and her team went above and beyond to make that dream a perfect reality. I had to plan our wedding remotely as we now live in New Jersey, so a majority of the decisions were made over email or on the phone. Jennifer kept me on track, she helped my mom with a TON of details, worked beautifully with our coordinators and all of our vendors. The Belvedere Team will do everything. They took such good care of our whole family and we will never be able to thank them enough for all they did to make our day incredible. They have wedding planning down to a science, it is seriously impressive.The food was SO good. It was as good if not better than when we did our tasting, our guests were full and happy. Kat and Jen could not have gone any more above and beyond to ensure our big day would run smoothly and be beautiful. We had our ceremony and reception in the Charles Ballroom, with our cocktail hour in the John Eager Ballroom across the hall; they turned the room quickly and flawlessly. The Charles Ballroom is just absolutely breathtaking with a lot of beautiful natural lighting and gold accents. Our day of coordinators, Mariana & Taylor, helped keep us sane through out the day and refused to let us have a worry in the world - Taylor was right around the corner at all times and seemed to have thought of everything I may need before I even had to ask. Our day was care-free for us as the bride and groom and that was much, much appreciated. Food catered by Truffles Catering was also incredible - this is one of the few venues that will let you have a duet entree featuring two protein dishes on one plate; so many of our guests raved about being able to get the best of both worlds and how delicious the food was. We knew we wanted to be married in Baltimore, so I began my thorough online search to find something beautiful but also budget affordable. My research pointed me to the Belvedere before even setting foot on the property. Originally when looking at the venue online I was sure the upstairs floor ballrooms were what we wanted, but then after seeing all of the options our minds were swayed to the first floor. Our wedding was slated for 120 people and the size of the rooms were perfect for us, not to mention the character of the 100 year old murals. The pros of the first floor are that guests don't have to stand in line waiting to take the elevator up to the 12th floor, which can take some time. The cons of the first floor are that it is a public building with the Owl Bar, but they do have a security guard in front of your ball room so no uninvited guests crash the party. Plus we get 15% off the owl bar for life :)The great thing about the Belvedere is that you don't need a coordinator, one is included in the price. We had 2 different people helping us through the process of decisions up until the day of the wedding where we received a day of coordinator. The staff was amazing, I gave 4.5 stars for responsiveness only because prior to a few weeks before the wedding, it would take anywhere from 1-2 weeks for a response. With that in mind, that was not a problem for me because I would rather the coordinators spend most of their time with brides closer to their wedding as they did with us. The quality of service was top notch, Taylor our day-of-coordinator helped us make our centerpieces and really kept the night moving without a hitch. They were very professional and flexible to changes without letting me become aware of any problems that did arise before they were fixed. Our guests were so impressed by the elegance of the Charles Ballroom, which is exactly the vibe we were aiming for. Kat was great for the initial dealings with the venue, and then as our day approached Jennifer took over and she was amazing! I hired an outside Day of Coordinator who handled everything on our wedding day that led up to the reception, and once we got to the Belvedere she even commented what good hands we were in and how many people they had on staff to take care of everything! On the day of the wedding, we were able to relax as the Belvedere staff took care of EVERYTHING for us. I loved the moment that they showed my husband and I the ballroom while the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour... we got to take it all in, take some pictures, and best of all- they made up a plate of appetizers (I was starving) and grabbed us drinks that we could enjoy without all the hustle and bustle! We truly felt like our every need was attended to, without anyone being \"on top of us\" or hurrying us along to stay on track with the timelime. We would HIGHLY recommend the Belvedere to any engaged couple! We did our ceremony at the Baltimore Basilica, and the Belvedere agreed to begin our cocktail hour early so that guests didn't have a huge lag time in between the ceremony and reception. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, the room (top floor) was so gorgeous...everyone loved it. My recommendation is to get everything in writing...even questions that you ask in person. Get it all locked in! Even the way you want to present and have the cake cut, which I didn't know I wanted a specific way until it was too late and done with. They are pretty strict once the contract is signed and they will upcharge for everything just like most other wedding vendors (sigh...the wedding tax). Jennifer and Kat were great to work with though, as was our day of coordinator! Jennifer really helped me narrow down a vision that sometimes was too hazy for me with so many other people involved on each side of the family. Jenn, Rachel and Kat did everything in their power to make sure that our day was perfect, and for that I am endlessly thankful. The food was the best wedding food I have ever had, and lets be honest - wedding food is never really that good! The chicken and shrimp were simply amazing. The cocktail hour and reception rooms were nothing short of BEAUTIFUL, our guests could not stop talking about it! We were told multiple times - \"That was the classiest wedding I've ever been to.\" So thank you to all the staff at The Belvedere. Without all of you, our night would not have been possible. Jennifer and team are so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The Belvedere wedding team played a big part in helping me plan my actual wedding...The timeline they provide you for the day-of will make your life so much easier! They do a great job at staying on-top of things and making sure to help where they can with your outside vendors. I felt like I was in such great hands w/ Jennifer and her team. And OMG, Vanessa - the lady who was basically assigned to me on my wedding night was just amazing. Our first meeting with Sondra and then subsequent meetings with Kat were great, and I was impressed with how organized everyone was. The prices seemed steep for our budget, but for the style of reception we wanted, the package we chose was affordable (although there is room to grow and put together an incredibly lavish event if you have the wiggle room for that). The wedding packages include so much and the Belvedere staff make the entire process manageable. Kat was so helpful when I was searching for local vendors (photography, dress shopping, etc) and gave great advice. Needless to say, the rooms are stunning, the food was delicious (my friends want the crab dip recipe!), and the drinks were strong ;)! Our bridal attendant was amazing, and I am so happy she was there to help the event go smoothly. She made sure my husband and I had a moment alone together before heading to the cocktail hour, got us fed (important for me since I get hangry!), and made sure our timeline was on track! From the moment we set foot in the place I knew it was the one. In every aspect the Belvedere goes above and beyond to make your fairytale wedding come true. Kat was my fairy godmother during planning. She helped with every little detail of the wedding, recommending vendors, keeping us on schedule, suggesting ideas, and most importantly keeping the whole thing organized. There was no question or concern of mine that she couldn’t address and get an answer to! Her vision and enthusiasm for weddings and the Belvedere is evident the moment you meet her! I was working full time, going to graduate school part time, and planning a wedding with as little stress imaginable all because of Kat! The day of the wedding everything was perfect and just as I’d imagined! I had Vanessa as my bridal attendant and she was amazing! She was there the whole night to keep things on schedule, make sure I was OK, and help with just about anything needed! I was really able to enjoy my wedding and not worry about a thing because of her! \rThe food was amazing (as I knew it would be after the most delicious tasting!) and everyone was served right away while the food was still hot! The service at the Belvedere makes you feel like you are at the Ritz! \rThe venue is so large we fit 150 guests comfortably and still had a huge dance floor and plenty of space to mingle! They kept the temperature of the room comfortable all night so that people on the dance floor were sweating to death! Having a December wedding, I was so thankful to find a venue that I could have the ceremony and reception in! It was so nice having the guest rotate through 3 different rooms so that you never saw any of the behind the scenes preparations! \rI am so thankful to this day that such a perfect venue was within our budget! All of our events took place on the first floor, ceremony in the Palm room, cocktails in the John Edgar Howard room, and reception in the Charles room! Going into this process, I had my heart set on The Belvedere, but after meeting Kat the Event Coordinator of Belvedere & Co. Events, she sealed the deal. Kat is just too amazing to put into words. She is so friendly, knowledgeable about the venue and vendors, and was so helpful every step of the way. She really saw our vision for the wedding and went above and beyond to make our day just perfect. Kat is invaluable and I don’t think our wedding would have been as amazing without her expertise. The food is outstanding, as well as the staff. Our bridal attendant on the day of made the day go smoothly, even when my dress was stepped on, she brought us pins to pin it up! Jesse Arnold(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-10-2013 I truly wish we could rate The Belvedere higher than 5 stars because they deserve it. First of all the space is absolutely breathtaking. We were on the 12th floor and I never thought I would have my wedding in a ballroom until we saw these! \r\rWhen we first met with Sondra it seemed that she got our vision for our reception, and that they would be able to make the day perfect. And they absolutely delivered on that promise. Kat is hands down worth her weight in gold - she kept us on task throughout the planning, worked with us on every little detail, and helped us find several of our other vendors! We wanted our late night soakers to be a little different from what was on the menu and Kat worked with the chef to help come up with the perfect late night options. Even though she was working another wedding that day Kat took the time to run up and check on us, a touch that we truly appreciated. \r\rThe day of Heather and Megan kept everything running perfectly and on schedule and made it a completely stress free night for us and our families. The food was all amazing and many of our guests commented on how good the food was for a wedding - it was every bit as good as when we did our tasting!\r\rI could literally wax poetic on how wonderful everyone at The Belvedere was for pages, but I will sum it up by saying they made my wedding day even better than I imagined it could be, and any bride would be lucky to spend their wedding day there. We chose Truffles Catering because we knew that on the day of the wedding, we would not need to worry about anything. Everyone that were worked with was extremely friendly and professional. They were creative, organized and gave us the feeling that we were all that mattered that day. Leading up to our wedding, we dealt with them mainly via email (which we prefered). We always received timely responses, which as a bride, gives you a sense of relief to have answers to your questions so quickly.\rWe received so many compliments from our guests on the building and rooms, the food, the atmosphere and the staff. The venue was gorgeous and the staff at Truffles Catering was wonderful! Sondra was a pleasure to work with, she went above and beyond to accommodate our budget, making it possible for us to have the wedding of our dreams. Kat was so helpful through the whole wedding planning process, her knowledge and expertise made me feel confident that everything would be perfect, and it was!! On the day of the wedding, Jodi and Kat made sure that everything went smoothly, which allowed me to relax and really enjoy the day! At the end of the night the Truffles staff packed everything up for us and even loaded it into my parents car for them! We have received so many compliments from our guests about the delicious food, courteous staff, and beautiful ballrooms. Truffles Catering at The Belvedere exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue and caterer. Reviewed on 30-09-2013

The team at the Belvedere were so awesome coordinating everything from the moment we booked up until the wedding- the constant communication and checklists really made the entire process so much easier. The space is absolutely GORGEOUS, and the food is restaurant quality- which is rare from a catering company. The options they have for spaces, food, drinks, decor make each wedding absolutely unique. The staff on the day of is amazing- they always have at least 1 person attending to your every need so you have nothing to worry about. From the moment we entered the Belvedere we knew we had to get married there. The venue is classically beautiful. The staff is very professional. Kat was wonderful to work with, she was very responsive and gave great guidance. Our wedding attendant Vanessa was amazing, she calmed my nerves and was by my side for everything I needed. We received rave views on our wedding from the attentive staff, to the food, to the beautiful rooms. We would highly recommend the Belvedere to those looking for a wonderful wedding experience. eforrestel (parent)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-07-2013 I have mixed feelings about The Belvedere. The initial meeting with the owner was very good. Very personable and professional and we were very confident the details would be managed well. The venue itself of course is beautiful and the food excellent. We were disappointed with some things by the time the wedding day came. A little unnerving to be told a week before the wedding that \"someone\" would be there to take charge the day of the wedding. Even Kat who was our coordinator wasn't positive who would wind up being there. At the cocktail hour we did notice that the nicer horsdoeuvres were much fewer. That can expected to a certain degree but it was very noticeable. As mother of the bride I had to ask the attendant to bring 2 of the selections to me because I was looking for them to be passed and never saw them and wanted to make sure they were offered. The seafood display was beautiful. Was a bit surprised that when I arrived at the reception I was told that the cake top fell and broke and they asked if I had a back up. Really???? I had to tell them what to improvise with. After the first hour I was never asked again by the attendant if everything was OK or if we needed anything--though they were attentive to my daughter at least. I may not have noticed some of these things except that we had just had another daughter get married with the same size wedding a few months before at the Royal Sonesta. Royal Sonesta's food was equally as excellent, they did not skimp on any of the horsdoeuvres, it was still a beautiful venue, there was a lot more automatically included and Jay Day the catering manager was exceptional and took care of all details from start to finish and our attendant made sure we were taken care of the entire night. Katharine LeNoir(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-06-2013 When you give yourself 3 years to plan a wedding you would think that is enough time to get everything squared away but then you move across the country and find yourself planning your big day from 3,000 miles away. Enter Kat and the Truffles team. My now husband and I booked our wedding reception in October of 2010 for our June 2013 wedding and had Kat along with us for the entire ride. From the very beginning she was helpful and fun and attentive. We had many e-mails back and forth and she was always responding right away. I was so impressed with how responsive she and the team were even though our day was still so far away and they had so so many weddings to accomplish between then. Fast forward to the actual planning stages. With having to fly across country to do any sort of meeting Kat was so easy going and flexible helping me stay at ease. We invited a pretty large group and even down to two days before the wedding things were changing and people were changing and seating assignments were changing and Kat just went right with the flow, never seeming to skip a beat and she was prepared for everything that we threw at her. On the day of the wedding we had our reception upstairs on the 12th floor with over 200 guests having to use the elevators to get up and it was so seamless, no one even seemed to notice the task at hand. The food was amazing (people almost 3 months later are still talking about how they dream about our food). Everyone on staff was professional and helpful and they packed up everything for us and loaded our cars with all of our stuff at the end of the night. The Belvedere and Truffles Catering could not have been a better pick for us on our day. We loved every minute of it and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reception venue. The ornate decor of each and every room is absolutely beautiful, and truly sets the stage for a fairy tale wedding. The Truffles staff is nothing short of amazing throughout the entire planning process. They provide tons of support, are super friendly, and keep you without worry on your big day. From day one the staff was great to work with which Im sure was hard because between me and my mother we had a LOT of questions. On the day of the 12th floor ballroom looked amazing. My guests had such a great time and I am still hearing how this was the best wedding many of them have ever been to.
