I would highly recommend Waterfront Catering. We used them for our wedding (205 people) and they were excellent. Anna is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The food was hot and delicious. The service was great. Nothing but great things to say!

We had the best experience with the Best Western Premier Waterfront. We were very happy with Anna the coordinator, she helped make our daughter’s wedding amazing. We absolutely recommend Best Western/Oshkosh Convention Center! Anna was amazing through the entire process and always so helpful. The day of went smoothly and the serving staff was great. We rented the outdoor space and one of the halls, both were super affordable. The food was great and we got so many compliments on it. I wish we could have another wedding there!

Anna answered all of my many questions during the planning process and took the time to meet with us several times to ensure all the details were covered. Anna and her team made sure that our day went off without a hitch and because of them, our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Anna Forslin was without a doubt, the best contact person we worked with throughout our wedding process. She was prompt, thoughtful, and truly took the time to get to know us and adjust to how we wanted our wedding. The front desk staff, and the catering staff was incredibly kind, and thoughtful as well. Best Western as a whole, was loved by all attendants and guests at our wedding for all of their hard work with the food, the rooms, the conference rooms to get ready in, etc. Truly so happy we used their services!

We ordered a macaroni and cheese bar for our cocktail hour, four different plated dinner options, and an ice cream bar to have four our reception. They were very fast with their setup and only talked to me when they left. I asked them to get champagne glasses, but they didn't have any so be specific in your ocntract.

The staff from our wedding contact to our banquet staff was amazing for our wedding. They all took the time to answer all of our questions and ask if we needed anything every step of the way. Also very accommodating to my grandma in the wheel chair and helping her make a plate. They were 10/10 all through out the night. The food, price and set up was really good. We had our own décor for our wedding but everything was set up how we requested and accommodating to add more tables last minute. The only downfall was it was extremely hot in the convention center during the wedding.

Best Western was absolutely phenomenal to work with! They were always quick to respond to any questions we had, extremely organized, and very reasonable prices. Christine truly made planning our wedding easy with them, from our rehearsal dinner to our appetizers, to dinner and late night snacks. Everything was perfect and we had a lot of compliments on our dinner too. The staff at our wedding were professional and very nice. We actually ran out of cake and were not able to keep our top tier as planned and had to give it out to guests (the cake was not made by best western), our event manager was quick to offer their chef to make us a different cake for us to save for our anniversary. This was such a special touch! I HIGHLY recommend them for any catering need!!

We had our wedding at Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve, and decided to have our food catered through Best Western Premier Waterfront. The food was amazing quality and all the staff we worked with along the way was very helpful and friendly. We got many compliments on how good our wedding food was. We even had some guests reach out to us after the wedding to ask for the name of our caterer as they had family members/friends getting married and wanted to share the name as they were so impressed. Glad we picked to work with them, and have no regrets or complaints at all.

10/10 We were able to celebrate our wedding not once but twice with the Best Western and Convention Center. In January we hosted our smaller celebration on our wedding day in the hotels ballroom with about 35 people. It was absolutely beautiful, felt intimate, and the service was phenomenal. We also did our rehearsal dinner in the east side ballroom at the convention center the night before and did the taco bar. Everyone loved it and people stuck around chatting for a while after. Great service, wonderful on the bar bartenders and they put out some simple centerpieces for us as well. We then hosted a larger reception at the end of June at the convention center (the side looking out onto the water). Again just an absolutely beautiful space, we expanded the dance floor which was awesome – especially in todays world with COVID it helped people feel like they were not dancing on top of each other. We had plenty of space for tables to be spread out nicely, have an arch/photo spot, bags boards, memories table, dessert table and gifts. We had about 150 people total and heard great complements from many. Again, cannot say enough great things about David and his team! We had some major changes due to COVID and they handled it with grace and worked with us to find a second date for our large reception. The team also checked in on us throughout the whole set up process both times and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would host an event with them again.

We also did our rehearsal dinner in the east side ballroom at the convention center the night before and did the taco bar. Everyone loved it and people stuck around chatting for a while after. Great service, wonderful on the bar bartenders and they put out some simple centerpieces for us as well. We then hosted a larger reception at the end of June at the convention center (the side looking out onto the water). Again just an absolutely beautiful space, we expanded the dance floor which was awesome – especially in todays world with COVID it helped people feel like they were not dancing on top of each other. We had plenty of space for tables to be spread out nicely, have an arch/photo spot, bags boards, memories table, dessert table and gifts. We had about 150 people total and heard great complements from many. Again, cannot say enough great things about David and his team! We had some major changes due to COVID and they handled it with grace and worked with us to find a second date for our large reception. The team also checked in on us throughout the whole set up process both times and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would host an event with them again.

We held our wedding at the Best Western Waterfront in Oshkosh on May 15th. When the planning process started, we checked out almost a dozen different venues and this one stood out immediately! Many venues had open dates but some made it very clear they were not interested in hosting a gay wedding event. When we met with David Helgeson we knew this was the right place for our wedding. Davig was amazing to work with, he assured us they could pretty much accommodate anything we needed. During the process, we needed to go back to the venue to take some measurements, take additional photos etc and the staff was always very helpful, even during the Covid restrictions. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with David and finalized things, he had some very good suggestions about placement, food changes and bar set up. The day before the event we went to set the room up, the staff was always there to help out with things we forgot or questions we had. Then the day of the wedding finally arrives! Everything was set up perfectly, we started with photos taken outside by the riverfront, then moved inside for the open bar. The bartenders were the best, no one waited for a drink and the drinks were perfectly made. The plated meal was served promptly, everyone said their meals were very tasty, hot and filling. More than a few times someone from the staff would check in to make sure everything was going as planned. The entire evening was better than we could have ever imagined! We also booked rooms for all our family members to stay at the hotel, something we wanted to be able to do for them, since many had to drive almost an hour to get here. David took care of all of the room reservations as well as making sure they all received our welcome package.Overall this was an amazing experience and while I know there is a terrific staff working with David Helgeson, I cannot remember all of their names, but we will never forget everything they did to make our day special!

We had our wedding on 8/3 at the Best Western Hotel and Convention Center. It was absolutely the best day ever and it is all thanks to Miranda and the BW banquet staff as well as the managers of the hotel, Dan and David. Miranda was very responsive throughout our entire wedding planning process and was accommodating as possible! The only time I had to wait for an email back (on a very rare occasion) was maybe a Sunday or Monday afternoon when Miranda was likely not in the hotel. :) Food - We had our dinner catered (of course) through the convention center’s banquet staff and it was amazing! We received so many compliments all night, and are still receiving those compliments, about how great the food was as well as how amazing the banquet staff did in getting all of the food out. Our wedding was about 240 people and we have been to weddings of smaller sizes, where we ended up waiting a very long time to receive our meal. There were many comments about how efficient the banquet staff was in getting all of the plated meals out to the tables in a timely manner! Budget - Yes, weddings are expensive but in terms of all of Oshkosh, this venue was the most affordable for us as well as it offered everything we wanted and needed. There is a hotelAttached so we did not need to worry about a shuttle, it is located right on Main Street so people had places to go between mass and the reception, it is on the water so it offered a pretty backdrop for pictures, and the venue was large enough to accommodate our guest list.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Best Western team! Having catering, bar service, the ceremony, and reception all provided by one place was incredibly helpful to us, as we were planning the wedding from four hours away. Miranda Gorges, their wedding and event manager, answered every one of our MANY questions and was helpful in providing guidance on decor and setup. She arranged for a couple different tours of the venue as well. The ceremony along the river was beautiful and the staff took care of chair setup and takedown. The reception space was recently updated and had everything we needed for the dinner and reception--plenty of space, tables for decor. The catering and bar staff were wonderful; they went out of their way to ensure that we and our guests had everything we needed and more. One woman even kept my meal warm while my husband and I went out to take a few pictures! We also held our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the Best Western, at which the staff was also very nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding!

Miranda made sure that every detail was executed perfectly. The staff was very flexible allowing for different event teams to set up the room for the evening, along with checking in with me throughout the night. Everything was perfect the night of my wedding. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. The food was delicious, and so many people complemented us on what we chose to have served. The service was exceptional and our guests enjoyed all of the small details. The room was a perfect location for guests to venture outside to enjoy the outside patio. Wonderful service and venue, couldn’t have asked for a better night.

I am so glad we chose to have our wedding reception at The Bestern Western in Oshkosh. All of the staff was phenomenal- from the coordinator, servers, bartenders, etc. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. They really seemed to care and wanted to be sure we had a seamless event. I would recommend them for any event. The ballroom is classy and elegant also. 5 Stars!

We used Best Western as our hotel site, and our reception was right next door at Becket's. Best Western gave us an awesome deal for all of our guests, and the suite we picked was PERFECT for getting ready on the morning of our wedding. Couldn't be happier with choosing them. Forewarning though, they do not serve continental breakfast, so make sure your guests are aware of that.

We planned our wedding all the way from California, so it was a little scary picking a catering company with never tasting any food. But we were very pleased with how everything went! Miranda was on top of everything and answered ever question I had in a timely manner. She made the process amazing and painless! Another thing that made the choice of picking them easier was they included linens and provided our hotel for free the night of the wedding! The food on the day of the wedding was beyond amazing! We got several compliments about how amazing everything was. We ending up going with the chicken oscar, Bacon wrapped filet, stuffed peppers for the vegetarians, and the chicken tenders for the kids. We also had custom cupcakes made!! Those were to die for! We had about 13 dozen cupcakes and we chose 4 different kinds that we got to pick the flavor of, which was very awesome! My overall rating for Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel would be a strong 5 stars! They are so helpful and work very well with you to get everything you want to make your wedding day perfect!

The Best Western Premier and Waterfront Hotel was phenomenal in helping us prepare for our day.\rJohanna the coordinator was essential in everything coming together with no trouble at all. \rBecause we had our wedding on a Friday, we were able to add personal touches elsewhere to our wedding due to the costs that were eliminated from a Friday wedding. If you get married at the Oshkosh Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center you will not pay for a banquet hall fee (unless you also have your ceremony there outside). You also recieve three hotel rooms to give out to your guests at your blessing, (the bride and groom can upgrade to a suite for $100.)\rThe food was delicious, in fact we had multiple people comment that if they left our wedding hungry, it was the person's fault that didn't eat...and we had an appetizer wedding with the fajita bar. The beverage packages are also the way to go! The girls were very excited to get wine, instead of just the standard beer all night long.\rWhile getting married on a Friday you also get bartending services, and cake cutting services waived. You really cannot beat the amount you spend for the quality of the day at the Best Western Premier Waterfront and Oshkosh Convention Center.

My husband and I had the best experience at the Best Western for our wedding. We had our reception in the ballroom, which is a beautiful space with all the light fixtures and chandeliers. The staff was wonderful and we had so many compliments on the food buffet. From set-up to take down, the process went very smooth. I would highly recommend having your reception here!
