Bill Miller's Castle is a wedding venue located in Branford, CT. This one-of-a-kind setting is ideal for couples that want that fairytale aesthetic for their special day. The natural stone exterior, elegant decor, and spacious outdoor lawn areas will make you and your guests feel like you're stepping back in time. Bill Miller's Castle was originally a barn built in the 1880s, before being restored and renovated throughout the 19990s. This structure now acts as an ideal venue for couples seeking an elegant, rustic location to exchange their vows. Inside features a 30-foot-high ceiling decorated with intricate crystal chandeliers, to cover your guests in a warm, romantic glow throughout the evening. Five firestone fireplaces stand throughout the space for an old-fashioned aesthetic. Up to 250 guests can dine and mingle during the reception before moving to the spacious dance floor for the rest of the evening. For open-air celebrations, the manicured lawn and romantic trellis make for a picturesque backdrop to your altar. Lush trees surround the space to add natural beauty to your ceremony. You will also have access to the Grand Bridal Suite, where you and your wedding party can prepare for the altar in an elegant setting. Bill Miller's Castle has a one-event-per-day policy, ensuring that you have exclusive access to the grounds during your celebration. The onsite staff will work diligently to make sure everything goes according to your plan. I took the lead with wedding planning, but my now husband had one request, to put Bill Miller's Castle on the venue list for consideration. I checked it out and decided to add it to the list to humor him, but was certain it would not end up being our venue. We made an appointment to visit, and in person, WOW! Bill Miller's is a whole MOOD. It won me over in person with its charm and character. If you're not sold on the pictures I definitely recommend checking it out in person before you cross it off your list.The staff was amazing. Our family is still raving about how smoothly everything went and how supported and prepared they felt on the day of. BMC thought of everything and made sure to take good care of all of the logistics and our family's needs. Sometimes you don't realize how stressful it can be for family as well, so it helps to have the BMC team to lean on to help organize family and make sure they know where they are going and what to do. Huge thank you to Mary who was a blast to be around on the day of, and so patient and helpful throughout the planning process! All of my vendors who had worked at BMC before confirmed that we were in great hands there and really didn't need additional day of coordination (which is usually not the case when you book a venue that includes coordination!)The bridal suite is another star of the show in my opinion. You spend so much of the wedding day getting ready and you really want a big, comfortable space to do it in. BMC has that, and more, it's beautiful up there! The only downside is that only your wedding party gets to see how AWESOME it is up there! I still tell people besides our ceremony, getting ready may have been my favorite part of the day.The outdoor space is amazing, and the grand entrance you make coming down from the upper balcony is really show stopping and dramatic. It gave my family goosebumps. The food was great, the open bar was perfect, and the desserts were really next level. We also sprung for the raw bar which was a big hit.Highly recommend!

From the moment we first saw Bill Miller’s Castle we knew my daughter’s wedding needed to be there. I can’t say enough about how incredible this venue is. Lisa and her staff were incredible. They made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. All of of guests raved about how phenomenal everything was. Even our DJ, who had never done an event there, said he hoped he could work there again.

They made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. All of of guests raved about how phenomenal everything was. We had our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle and they made it the greatest experience of our lives. A few highlights amongst countless:1) PLANNING: Victoria and Mary both helped us leading up to the date and they were spectacular. They were very accommodating and organized. They had done this before, we had not done this before, and their experience made everything come together.2) STAFF: Phenomenal. They were kind, organized, and quick.3) FACILITIES: Beautiful outdoor and indoor locations for the ceremony. This is huge being that New England weather is unpredictable and it wound up raining on our day. Also the bridal suite is stunning.'4) ATMOSPHERE: We loved the dark and moody atmosphere of Bill Miller's. It made for amazing photos and really helped set the tone for the night. 5) FOOD: We had a buffet style and the food was outstanding. A few particular notables: lamb lollipops, mashed potato bar, and the chocolate fountain.The most important metric is that we were beyond happy with our entire wedding and everyone at Bill Miller's Castle helped to make that happen. We would absolutely hold another celebration at Bill Miller's Castle in the future.

Having my wedding at Bill Millers was the BEST decision my husband and I made. We had the most incredible experience from the day we toured it to the final seconds at the venue on our wedding night. On our wedding night, Vic and Lisa (and the entire staff) were so helpful in every way possible, they were thoughtful and really helped make the event go smoothly. They were 10 steps ahead of me in all my thoughts and had a plan for each and every part of the day. They made sure my husband and I had time to ourselves to take it all in, they made sure we ate, had our drinks ready for us at all times, and checked in with us to make sure we were having the night of our dreams. It’s a little silly how much I loved getting married here for my December 2023 wedding. From our first tour of the venue with Victoria we knew we didn’t need to see anywhere else. The food? Amazing. The vibes? Immaculate. The care we received the day of the wedding? Worth every single dime we gave them. I had very little stress the day of my wedding thanks to the entire team. Everything was set up exactly how I wanted and my vision for the space was perfectly executed. Because it’s a family business there is so much expertise and calmness with everyone we interacted with. Victoria never once made me feel like a request or idea was out of question—she made a note and then made it happen. People are saying this was the best wedding they’ve been to and I may be biased but IT WAS.

My son was recently married at Bill Millers Castle. The entire day could not have been more perfect. Starting with the ceremony on the grounds, with the bride arriving in a horse drawn carriage, to last call at the bar, the staff and facility host could not have been more accommodating, caring and professional. Both Bride and groom worried about nothing. The food was excellent, the guest enjoyed the unique atmosphere, and the timing of each stage of the day was never rushed. No one wanted to go home at the end of the night.Highly recommended to be on your list of venues to consider. You will Love Host Lisa.

We have to say a major thank you to Mary and the entire Bill Miller’s team. They all made our day quite literally perfect — we are so grateful! We felt so present, so calm, and just so happy the entire time and that is all due to the staff at this venue. A moment we’ll remember forever was being able to enjoy a private moment during cocktail hour to eat all the delicious food, look out over our cocktail hour, and enjoy each other’s company before the big party! Our families and guests were also so happy with the kind staff (coordinators, bartenders, waitstaff, beyond!) and we received so many compliments on the beautiful venue. A special shout-out to Mary, Lisa, and Victoria for having our backs the whole day. The food as well was fantastic -- don't skip the filet for dinner, the mashed potato bar, or the raw bar!!!We cannot thank the Bill Miller's team enough for making our big day not only possible, but just truly perfect.

We cannot rave enough about Bill Miller's Castle!! It's the most beautiful and unique venue we could have asked for. The staff are fabulous and kept the event running smoothly, leaving us to enjoy the most amazing day. Bill Miller's Castle is an incredible and unique venue and having our wedding there was an amazing experience! Victoria, the coordinator, was spot-on with her planning and advice on organizing the affair, the venue has equally beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, so the event can be wonderful year round, rain or shine! Their partnership with La Luna restaurant for catering ensures that the food is delicious, and overall We have noting but wonderful things to say about our wedding and our wonderful experience with the Castle! Highly recommend!

Bill Miller's Castle is an incredible and unique venue and having our wedding there was an amazing experience! Victoria, the coordinator, was spot-on with her planning and advice on organizing the affair, the venue has equally beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, so the event can be wonderful year round, rain or shine! Their partnership with La Luna restaurant for catering ensures that the food is delicious, and overall We have noting but wonderful things to say about our wedding and our wonderful experience with the Castle! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Bill Miller’s Castle. It is truly a unique venue – not your typical banquet hall or stark white ballroom. This place has so much character, charm and personality all on its own. And Lisa (the owner) and her staff are absolutely fabulous – they take care of everything and really made sure my husband and I were present for our big day. Everyone says your wedding day goes by so fast that you miss everything and we truly didn’t feel that way – we really were able to take it all in and enjoy every moment (Lisa even made sure we ate!). The food and drinks are phenomenal – our guests raved about the giant portions of perfectly cooked prime rib, top-shelf well-made drinks and a Viennese hour fit for royalty (the chocolate shot glasses with dessert liquor assortment were my favorite touch). Our wedding day exceeded our already high expectations and Lisa and the team at Bill Miller’s created a day that will live on in our memories for a lifetime.

My husband sent me a link to Bill Miller's Castle long before we were engaged and I knew immediately that I wanted to get married there. When we eventually toured the venue after we got engaged, it really sealed the deal! Not only is the castle unique and honestly STUNNING, but Victoria really made us feel like we were part of the Bill Miller's family from the very beginning. We were engaged for two and half years, and Victoria was with us the entire way. I personally work weddings almost every weekend, and leading up to the wedding day I knew it would be difficult for me to turn off my wedding coordinator brain. I have to say, there is no one else I'd rather hand the reigns over to! Victoria made sure there were no bumps in the road, even when we had last minute guest cancellations or last minute table changes, and she handled every request with grace and patience. Bill Miller's Castle knows exactly what type of venue it is, and they excel at creating a picture perfect fairytale wedding. The entire staff made sure we had the best night out lives, and the whole night was seamless from start to finish - they just GET IT! From the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere (I mean, who gets an outdoor wedding in NOVEMBER?) our wedding day was truly a dream come true. We are forever thankful!!!

The food was delicious (which I feel can be rare at weddings haha) and the bridal suite is unreal. It’s huge so everyone was comfortable and spread out while getting ready and it’s very private which is great whenever you needed a minute to step away. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Victoria as our coordinator and she was awesome. She was always available when we needed her and made the whole planning process so easy despite us living in NYC. Without her, I don’t think I would’ve felt so relaxed on the big day. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect and I can’t thank her enough. I highly recommend Bill Millers for your wedding or event, people will be talking about it for years to come.

I had my wedding here last September and it was an absolute dream. I still get compliments on how beautiful this venue was whenever my wedding is brought up in conversation. Lisa and Victoria worked endlessly to help make my vision come to life. Everything about this venue is exceptional. I went to two tastings with them, and the food at my wedding was even better than it was at either of the tastings. The staff was incredible. Our bartender, Deb, knew everyone’s drink order after the first time ordering. My family is still talking about how much they loved her! Mary made sure I was being taken care of the entire day. She brought us drinks and food from cocktail hour as we took pictures, she served us dinner, and made sure we had everything we wanted. And last but not least, the absolute beauty of this castle is astounding. My guests were blown away and are still talking about it almost a week later. As we hugged Lisa and Victoria goodbye the day after the wedding, it was hard not to cry. They worked so closely with me and felt like such a big part of our lives for the entire wedding planning process. I absolutely recommend Bill Miller’s Castle for an incredible, memorable wedding.

We were looking for a venue with a rustic feel, satisfactory indoor rain contingency plan (which we thankfully didn't need), on-site catering, a bridal suite for HMU, and a staff we jived with. Bill Miller's Castle took our needs and delivered beyond what we could have even imagined. Mary is a dream to work with, hilarious, professional, and made this confusing wedding planning process easy. She was by my side and on my team the entire wedding day. Victoria helped organize our guests/the day and checked in on us to make sure we were eating (very important). They ensured our vendors were sticking to the timeline WE wanted as the bride and groom and were a dream to work with. The food was outstanding, even better than it had been at the tasting. Our signature cocktails were some of the tastiest drinks we've had. The building is stunning inside and out. When I say this venue delivered, I mean it. Above and beyond is an understatement. I cannot speak highly enough about this venue and the people who played such an integral role in making the wedding day run smoothly.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and the staff. If you want a one-stop shop for a unique venue (there's nothing like the Castle in the area) and have amazing food and drinks, look no further! I did not have to lift a single finger on my wedding day, as their staff ensured that all of our decorations and signage was put out. I wish we could relive our wedding over and over, and it was such a success due to how much effort the staff puts in. My husband and I are both extremely busy people, and yet we were always able to reach the venue and plan our wedding without juggling multiple vendors. This is a family business and it shows because they will treat your wedding like you are their family.

We got married on 10/2/21 at Bill Miller's Castle and had a wonderful experience. Mary and her team were wonderful. They guided us and the bridal party throughout the day allowing us to enjoy and only focus on celebrating. Everything flowed with ease!Many of our guests have gone out of their way to also share what a great time they had. They loved the food and the entire atmosphere.What we loved the most:The layout of the venue - the way the rooms flowed together allowed for it to feel like one large party while also having space for guests to socialize. The space felt spacious while also cozy. There were distinct areas for cocktail hour, the bar, the dinner tables, etc., but it didn't feel choppy.The ceremony space - the outdoor option was perfect but the indoor option was also great if weather required. The indoor option allowed enough space for all guests to be seated while also preventing guests from seeing the main reception area until ready to be revealed.The bridal suite - perfect for hair/makeup and spending the day. Super spacious!The team - they took care of all details we hadn't even thought of (i.e. putting a full plate of hors d'oeuvres in the bridal suite for to munch on as my dress was being bustled). They went the extra mile to make us feel special (i.e. holding 2 glasses of champagne at the end of the aisle to start the party right away!).The overall feel of the space - the antique and rustic vibe. We didn't need to go crazy filling the space with decor because it felt warm and inviting as it was. The seasonal decor used was appropriate and not over the top.The ability to make the day personal to us - the team allowed us to bring in our favorite late night snack and dessert options.Understanding around Covid limitations - Mary and her team were human about how difficult it is to plan and have a wedding in a pandemic. They understood and were flexible where they were able to be.What we wish they had:A full catalog of all of the extras they can provide to rent - they have some extra decor that we were unaware of unless we specifically mentioned (i.e. wine barrels for outdoors).Overall, our day was incredible and we couldn't be happier that we chose Bill Miller's Castle as our wedding venue. As a couple with two full time careers and a young daughter this was huge for us! I have to mention how gorgeous the rainy day option is. We really wanted to not have to worry about the weather considering anything can happen in New England. The outside garden is lovely and we are so thankful we had a sunny day, but if it was raining the indoor ceremony option was just as nice. Victoria was our wedding coordinator and was a champ through out the planning process; which included helping us get through delaying the wedding a year due to Covid. She made everything stress free and answered our many questions promptly and with patience. I cannot thank her enough for her help! The bridal suite is one of the amazing selling points for this place! Its absolutely worth the small up charge to be in one location with your ladies all day while everything gets set up around you. There was plenty of space for 2 hair stylists, 1 make up artist, 2 moms, 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and my daughter to all get ready! The food was amazing!! Everyone raved about it! We did buffet style and had the mashed potato bar which was a hit! And the lovely staff made sure the groom and I sat to eat which is often something that gets missed. I wouldn't do anything different. The day went perfectly and smoothly and that is no doubt due to Victoria and her teams effort! Even as my cake almost collapsed, Victoria and the staff was able to swiftly take care of it and save everyone's dessert!

I cannot thank Bill Miller’s Castle enough. My wedding was truly a dream come true. Victoria made the entire process so easy and stress free. I can't say enough good things about Bill Miller's Castle. We had our wedding on New Year's Eve and it was the most perfect night that we could have ever asked for. Lisa and Victoria were both incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. They quickly responded to every question I had throughout the process and handled everything the day of so I had nothing to think about. They set up the space exactly how we had hoped, and the entire experience was seamless. We used the bridal suite to get ready and had plenty of space to do everything we needed for hair, makeup, lunch, getting dressed, etc (with 8 bridesmaids!) Our guests all had an amazing time and told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding - from the delicious appetizers, to the large entrees, to the incredible Venetian room with every dessert imaginable. They all loved the unique ambiance at the castle, with something cool to find in every corner of the space. At midnight, we watched the ball drop on a large screen and had a champagne toast on the massive dance floor. Everything was truly magical, and I highly recommend a wedding - especially on NYE - at Bill Miller's Castle!

We had our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle 6/15/19 and the Bill Millers Castle team truly made it the best day ever. From the first day, they made the planning easy with so much detail in the finances, scheduling, and most of all they made us feel comfortable. Victoria answered all of my questions any day of the week and updated me on what should be done next and were able to easily make appointments with me to stop by the castle. Rehearsal was flawless and very direct with the schedule; I’ve been to so many weddings before where rehearsal is the one day thats very messy and I was so happy that the venue I chose was very precise with everything and also made me so excited at each moment. I was reminded by Lisa so many times to just take in the moment and breathe, and that really meant alot to me. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Bill Miller's Castle and all of their staff are (and I sure don't think that I could do it in just 3500 words)! We just got married at the castle this past weekend on 10.19.19. My fiancé and I have been dating for ten years and our big day was long anticipated for ourselves, and many of our loved ones. After getting engaged we booked tours at approximately 10 different venues. We wanted something that was different and had a rustic and unique look. We wanted to get married at a venue that was anything but a typical reception hall, and Bill Miller's Castle was definitely everything but that. Bill Miller's was our 5th wedding venue tour and immediately after our visit we canceled our other tours and booked BMC. Not only is the venue truly magical and unique, but the entire energy and level of care and support provided by the staff members was astounding. The dinner tastings that they host throughout the year allowed my fiancé--I mean husband- and I to taste all of the delicious food options and made it easy to decide on exactly what we wanted. Victoria from Bill Miller's was our coordinator. Throughout the entire process Victoria made herself easily available and made the planning process very stress free and enjoyable. In the months, days, and then hours leading up to and during our wedding, Victoria was there to answer all of our questions, provide guidance, and helped us navigate some of the smaller details and decisions. There was not a detail or question that Victoria did not prepare us for or have an answer to. Going into our wedding day I knew that I had absolutely nothing to worry about since everything was handled with such clear communication and professionalism. On the day of the event, I was confident that things would go smoothly and knew that we were in good hands with the amazing staff at Bill Millers. However, I did not expect to see them in person and have them be as available as they were throughout the day of our wedding. My husband and I have been joking for the past week about how whenever even the slightest thought popped into our head (a quick question, a request for something, a need for a snack or a beer, etc) that one of the BMC staff amazingly just appeared and was there to help immediately. It was as if they knew exactly when to pop in with absolute perfect timing. The location and building is truly magical. The staff are so helpful and pleasant. We loved the family aspect of this venue and felt that they immediately accepted and treated us as if we were one of their family members as well. My husband and I obviously knew that this was one of the most important days in our lives, but each and every staff member at Bill Miller's Castle also felt and treated our wedding day with the same level of importance. I can not speak highly enough about our experience at Bill Miller's Castle and I cannot recommend this venue enough!

The castle at night was literally the coolest thing I have ever seen. Our pictures are wonderful. We HIGHLY recommend Bill Millers Castle. You will be so happy!!!!! I love it!!!

There are no words to express how grateful we are to have been able to get married at Bill Miller’s castle. Not only is the venue absolutely perfect, but Victoria and her family didn’t miss a beat. Victoria is a dream wedding coordinator. From the moment we walked into the castle a year before our wedding, right up until our last dance, Victoria was personable, attentive, detail oriented, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was flawless. Having 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen was no challenge for Victoria. Her ability to multitask and keep us organized when needed was more than appreciated. On top of this, I had numerous guests tell me that the food at the wedding was some of the “best food” they’ve ever had. Looking back at our wedding day and replaying it in my head (which I’ve been doing often) I can honestly say there is not one single regret. So thank you Bill Miller’s Castle, their staff, and especially Victoria, for making our dream wedding come true!!!

Bill Miller's was the first venue we looked at and immediately we both knew this could be the place. The only reason we kept looking was that it wasn't exactly what we originally had pictured - we wanted more of a barn-style venue. However, the other venues we looked at could not offer us nearly as much at Bill Miller's (BMC). We would have had to do top-to-bottom decoration at any more barn-like venue and I was not prepared to deal with that. At BMC, you can do as much or as little decorating as you want. If you want to just do simple centerpieces and literally nothing else, none of your guests would question it. The staff at BMC is amazing. Everyone we worked with was so nice and just fully supportive. They were not salesmen-like while we were booking things, they were honest about what we should do and what we didn't really need. We were always able to communicate with them, and they were happily able to accommodate multiple tours for us which really helped put me at ease. On the day-of they helped everything run smoothly and I was so thankful for them all. I got ready at the Castle, had my ceremony and reception there and I am so glad we got to stay there all day. It was a wonderful experience.The food is provided by La Luna Restaurant, and they offered a wonderful group tasting session before the wedding. The food was fabulous, many of our guests commented about that. Again the staff was wonderful about food - making sure my husband and I had everything we needed while we took photos before dinner, and then bringing us generous plates of food for dinner. They even packed up a ton of leftovers for us to take on our honeymoon because we were only going locally.I can't say anything bad about this place or the people - I highly recommend this beautiful, unique venue.

Bill Miller's Castle and the two amazing women behind the scenes - Lisa and Victoria - made my wedding day so much better than I could have ever imagined. I'm going to focus this review on Lisa and Victoria, the mother daughter duo that ran and coordinated my event, because I think the space speaks for itself. I went into thinking that planning my wedding was going to be one big logistical complication because I did most of it from the west coast, so I was shocked when this turned out to be totally false. I did most of my initial communication and planning with Lisa who could not have been more accommodating. She was quick to respond to every phone call and email, and provided us with plenty of details and photographs to answer any question we had. Her knowledge of local vendors made our decision-making very easy when it came to florals and the cake (decisions that I've watched other engaged friends struggle through for months). Moreover, her knowledge of her own event space is what made our wedding seamless. She knew how best to set up our tables, how to plan the day-of, what information to give the vendors, what food selections would suit an event of our size, the list goes on and on. When the coordination of our event was turned over to Lisa's daughter Victoria only a month or so before our wedding (due to completely understandable personal reasons), I was a little worried that all of the work we'd done with Lisa would get lost in the transition. I was SO wrong. Lisa had taken fastidious notes on all of our preferences and ideas and had also thoroughly briefed Victoria on everything we'd talked about. Meeting Victoria for the first time in person a week before our wedding could not have gone smoother. She was up to date on everything and brought some amazing ideas to the table. It's not an exaggeration to say that our wedding day went seamlessly. Victoria was on top of EVERYTHING, but also had an extremely chilled attitude and demeanor - which was really comforting to me! She's also just really fun to be around so I loved when she'd pop in and out of the bridal suite to ask questions or get my input on something. She took care of any detail or snag that arose and coordinated all of the moving parts which was HUGE. I was completely stress free on the day of my wedding - a gift I will never be able to adequately express gratitude for. I love this venue and these women and cannot thank them enough. Choose this venue!!!!! You won't regret it.

I just had my wedding on July 13th at Bill Miller's. I do not know where to even begin. Throughout the whole process, Victoria and Lisa were SO helpful. They answered all our questions quickly and honestly. On the day of the event, Victoria made sure everything went smoothly. It was perfect! This place really knows how to organize an event. They were always happy to help and they were there even when you didn't know you needed something (i.e. food, water, helping you with your dress, shoes). 10/10 recommend.

My husband I are from NH and had been searching all over New England for the perfect venue for our NYE Gatsby wedding and once we set foot in the castle we instantly knew this was the place for us. Lisa and Victoria did everything to make our day perfect. They were so helpful when we needed a last minute display for our desserts and had great insight on how to arrange our decorations. They made our wedding day stress free and didn't let us lift a finger! All of our guest can not stop talking about how perfect the night was from the food to the champagne towers and everything in between. Would highly recommend choosing Bill Miller's Castle for your wedding if you are looking for a unique venue with an amazing family run team behind it.

Victoria, our event coordinator, was there for us every step of the way; from the day we walked into the wonderful venue for a tour until we drove off at the end of our wedding night. My husband and I were initially looking at non-traditional venue spaces but we quickly realized how much money, time, organization and resources we'd need to pull that off. Luckily we found Bill Miller's and it not only had the quirkiness we were looking for, but it came with Lisa Miller and a rich history of successful event coordination. Lisa was attentive, communicative, and professional throughout the planning. We didn't need to hire a wedding coordinator because Lisa was able to facilitate all our needs. On the wedding weekend, she led the rehearsal and on the day-of she took care of everything, things that two weeks later I'm just asking, \"how did that get done?\" At the end of the night, when my husband and I were finally crashing in our hotel room, we looked in a bag and found a stack of dinner and dessert leftovers in to-go containers. We were so busy we barely had time to eat during the wedding, so it meant a lot that Lisa and team did this for us. I can't say enough about their attention to detail! These are the things that really make the day a wonderful experience for you and your guests. I highly recommend Bill Miller's to anyone who wants a memorable, stress-free wedding.

As high school teachers, my husband and I had one requirement during our venue search: nothing prom-venue-like, and we found that in Bill Miller's Castle. It was the perfect all-in-one setting for our wedding giving a warm cozy feeling with the historical decor but also allowing enough space for almost 200 guests to feel comfortable and not cramped. Furthermore, even though we did not hire a wedding planner, it felt as if we had one in Lisa Miller the coordinator at the venue. Both she and her daughter, Victoria, made the day run so smoothly and we are grateful for all of their hard work.

My husband and I got married on May 26, 2018 and our reception was held at Bill Miller’s Castle. This absolutely beautiful venue is so unique. With its rustic elegance, the Castle gave us the feeling of being Queen and King for the day. No other venue that we saw even remotely compared to Bill Miller’s Castle. While we can’t say enough about the beauty, elegance, and grandness of the place itself, it is the family behind the place that truly made our day. Victoria is the granddaughter of the man that created the beauty that is the castle, and she is amazing! From the moment that we met her, Victoria treated us like family. She walked us through the castle and all we could do was marvel. Victoria was there every step of the way as we decided how we wanted our day to be. We wanted a memorial table for two very important people in our lives that couldn’t be with us and she made that happen. She answered every question that we had quickly and clearly. We knew that no matter what happened the day of the wedding that she would be there to make sure that everything went smoothly. My husband was concerned that he would not get to enjoy the cocktail hour foods (most of which were chosen with his specific tastes in mind), but we mentioned this to Victoria and she made sure that he had as much of the cocktail hour food as he wanted. He asked a server for some extra bit of one of the foods and she was back within moments with a plate full of the seafood that he wanted (way more than he expected when he asked). We have been told many times since the day of our wedding that this was the best wedding that people had been to and some of those people have been to a lot of weddings. The food from La Luna was amazing. Everyone loved it. Everyone loved the Castle. And we honestly can’t say enough how amazing Victoria was. She made sure that we ate, made sure we had water bottles while we were taking pictures out in the hot sun, and she made sure that we got out on the dance floor and enjoyed ourselves as well. She was there for anything and everything we needed and honestly, Victoria, her family, and the rest of the staff at Bill Miller’s Castle made our day perfect! She did it effortlessly and quickly and that was such a great help! Victoria made sure food and drinks were on deck for me and the groom at ALL times. They wrapped everything up for us at the end of the night and boxed up all of our stuff. They were so helpful and kind! Victoria even drove my husband and I to our hotel in her personal vehicle at the end of the night! Talk about top notch service! Bill Miller’s Castle is a beautiful, elegant, rustic, unique, Royal venue fit for a king and queen! I recommend this venue for anyone who wants the best service with the most awesome ambiance ! My husband and I got married at the castle on 4/28/2018. To say that the venue was perfect is an understatement! Lisa and Victoria are THE BEST at what they do. They were so organized, efficient, accommodating and exemplified the utmost customer service. The day went seamlessly with all aspects pertaining to the venue. My husband and I got married at Bill Miller’s Castle September 30th, 2017. This venue was the first, and ONLY venue we looked at in person. The family run venue, Lisa and her daughter Victoria, made us feel so comfortable, and I felt like I could put all my trust in them for my wedding day! There were SO MANY reasons why I ended up choosing Bill Miller’s Castle as my wedding venue; the option of having the ceremony inside or outside (rain or shine), the beautiful spacious bridal suite to get ready in, the large variety of menu packages, the whole layout of the venue itself, and the hospitality of the owners! Can I also tell you how well Lisa and Victoria have their work cut out for them?? The day of my wedding, the ceremony was planned to be outside, but it ended up raining just before the ceremony was about to start. Within 20 minutes, Lisa and her staff had set up chairs for all 150 of my guests, and no one could even tell this had been a last minute change! I cannot tell you how many compliments and raving reviews we got from our guests; saying how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food tasted, how smoothly everything went, and even comments about how much fun the bartenders were!! I know we may be biased, but my husband and I, and our guests truly had the most incredible time at our wedding. I truly believe the day of my wedding could not have been anymore magical or AMAZING if it weren’t for Lisa and Victoria, and all of the Bill Miller’s staff. Bill Miller’s Castle is the perfect venue to start your own Happily Ever After!

The Knights recently got married at Bill Millers Castle. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue. My wonderful coordinator Victoria is absolutely amazing. This is the first time that I have EVER looked forward to writing a review. I will attempt to keep this brief, but I can't make any promises. From the moment we walked through the majestic doorway where we were greeted by the friendliest, and most down to earth duo (Lisa Miller and Victoria Smith) to sharing the moment with Victoria seconds before I walked down the aisle (to the motown classic \"Stand By Me\" accompanied by my dad sporting a hawaiian shirt) to say \"I do!\" we were treated with kindness, respect, and kept at ease with lighthearted humor to settle nerves on such an important day. The rustic, badass, open-spaced castle with endless angles to take the perfect selfie, is just scratching the surface of why this place is one-of-a-kind. The dance floor is big, and durable (which was extremely important to us twerkers of the world trying to go viral). The food? UNREAL. Lisa & staff make it a priority to ensure the selection is precisely what you are looking for. Now, I can't leave out the grand bridal suite- this room is fit for the most important pre-game of you and your maids' lives and created yet again the perfect space to spend the last minutes being a single lady.There is not enough room on this page to express how the seasoned wedding babes (Lisa and Victoria) provided us with the ideal service for our wedding. Where these women stand out is here: they leave the \"saleswoman\" crap in the parking lot and never try to lead you in a direction you're not comfortable going in. They are willing to truly listen to you, and help make the best day of your life. We will never forget the generosity and flexibility the BMC staff showed us and will continue to spread the word of how phenomenal our experience with them was. Do yourself a favor and at least reach out to Lisa Miller or any of the amazing BMC staff to book a tour. You will be treated as a friend, not a client - and for us, that made all of the difference. Look no further than Bill Miller’s Castle! Our guests are still raving about Bill Miller’s Castle and I’ll be recommending it every chance I get. Our videographer even said “Bill Miller’s is one of our favorite venues now!” To Lisa, Victoria, the Bill Miller’s staff and La Luna catering – thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we hoped and more! Run by a family who treats you like family. Now ok I waited a bit longer than usual to write my review (my apologies)This venue is five star but I will be honest, here, the people made our decision to go book very simple. Victoria, granddaughter of the late, great famous New Haven performer, is wonderful, strike that she's MAGIC. I don't think she actually knows the word \"no\" which made our life and my planning very simple. I lived abroad and it was very important to me to have handmade pasta from my home in Italy, next I feel in love with a salad and dressing that I had once tasted in Washington, D.C. made by a White House chef, I was marrying into a big Italian family with aunts who wanted to make traditional cookies for desert, and finally to top it off limoncello is an end-of-meal must. One by one I asked if I could incorporate these items, which were not on the menu, and the only response I ever got was \"Yes!\" Look if you're looking for a cookie cutter wedding they can do it but you are going to miss out on all the fun. My friend John DePuma, DePuma Pasta, made the Casoncelli(pasta) recipe and the Bill Millers chef was really excited to make something perfected the salad&dressing. Now I'm sure you're thinking what was the cost - there's always an adder right?Not here - a Bill Millers - you're family. And your special day is going to be SPECIAL because they want to make your dreams come true. Everything I asked for - it was as if Victoria had a magic wand - on the day of everything was perfect. We (and by we I mean now husband) did a Game of Thrones theme- yes we did. This place was perfect, the look, the feel and they have everything else in \"the closet\" no joke, golden chargers to dress up the plates, lanterns for every table, and swords. Our wedding day was the hottest day in July 2016 - I arrived late, as a bride should, in my defense I got a flat tire on the way, true story. I walked in already sweating and Victoria greeted me smiling with ice cold water and the AC turned up high. They explained if there was thunder storms or 90 degree heat we could do the ceremony inside and it would still be great. That afternoon the weather gods were in our favor (I also credit Victoria for this) so we went outside. Ladies GO WITH THE SUITE- do yourself the favor and get ready there- there is a spot for multiple hair and make artists- just get ready there its so much fun and it really gets you into the spirit. Plus there's a second room for the men to get ready with their own bathroom. The ceremony was perfect, the sunset is right behind the trees and cools off the seating outside. Thirty minutes later we were hitched and taking pictures. I strongly recommend you get a good photographer- We used Brian Hayley & Boris- there are so many cool spots for photos and these guys found them. But Victoria (and Lisa) literally keep everything moving -that's a skill- on your wedding day just know when things go perfectly at Bill Millers its because they are experts, and they care about you and your guests and making a perfect wedding is not about a paycheck , at Bill Millers its their passion. THEY DO EVERYTHING - shuttle, check, flowers, cake, highchairs - check, check, check!By the end of the night we said goodbye and passed out tips/thank you notes- my mom handed Victoria a giftbox, a bracelet hand made by our family jeweler. Traditionally, a gift reserved for family only, Bill Millers is now part of our family forever. Thank you

Bill Miller's Castle is the total package. We chose the castle for our wedding venue because of it's beauty and character, but we got so much more than just what you see! The food was amazing and they were very accommodating with our requests for our menu. The staff at Bill Miller's treated us as family from start to finish. Victoria was there for us every step of the way... and for a bride planning her wedding, this was so important. Victoria and Lisa were so attentive the day of our wedding... fixing my hair and makeup for me, carrying my train, making sure our kids were smiling for photos- Victoria even carried our youngest, cranky son into our reception when he wouldn't walk out during introductions! They went so above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. And the beauty of the castle is breathtaking! I went to a bridal fair at the castle and immediately booked our wedding the following week- I didn't even look at another venue and it was the best decision I ever made. HIGHLY recommend for any future Mr & Mrs. Our wedding day was simply amazing, thanks to the Castle.

The food was amazing and they were very accommodating with our requests for our menu. The staff at Bill Miller's treated us as family from start to finish. Victoria was there for us every step of the way... and for a bride planning her wedding, this was so important. Victoria and Lisa were so attentive the day of our wedding... fixing my hair and makeup for me, carrying my train, making sure our kids were smiling for photos- Victoria even carried our youngest, cranky son into our reception when he wouldn't walk out during introductions! They went so above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. And the beauty of the castle is breathtaking! I went to a bridal fair at the castle and immediately booked our wedding the following week- I didn't even look at another venue and it was the best decision I ever made. HIGHLY recommend for any future Mr & Mrs. Our wedding day was simply amazing, thanks to the Castle.

I don't even think I left the bridal suite once because I knew that she had everything under control. Bill Miller's Castle was the perfect place for our wedding. We were looking for something a little different - not the typical \"cookie cutter\" wedding - something that truly reflected who we are, and the type of wedding we wanted. The space is just gorgeous and very unique. Victoria and Lisa, the wedding coordinators at Bill Miller's, were absolutely amazing. They listened to what we wanted, helped us put the event together, and made the whole process fun and memorable. They were flexible and helpful and truly went above and beyond to make sure that we had the perfect day. Our outside caterer went incommunicado an hour before the wedding & we couldn't reach him... they were over an hour late and no sign/word... Victoria and Lisa swung into action and took care of everything. While we were having our family photos done, they organized last minute passed hors d'oeuvres, cheeseboards, and drinks, while gearing up to be ready to serve dinner too if needed. Our guests never even realized that anything was wrong! When the caterers (that we chose!!) finally did show up, Victoria and Lisa handled the whole setup without a hitch. They got dinner served in record time and our guests raved about how good the food was. We truly could not have done it without them. Great place, great atmosphere, truly incredible staff.

Bill Millers Castle is a unique and charming venue. At first I had a few miscommunication issues with one of the owners/managers. That changed as we talked it out and as the wedding got closer. She ended up being helpful and very pleasant to work with. On our wedding day Victoria was absolutely amazing with helping out and making sure that all of our needs were taken care of. Our wedding day was beautiful and everyone couldn't say enough about how amazing the building was, how pleasant the staff was, and how delicious the food was. A couple more things, the new bridal suite for the bridal party to get ready is worth it! The food was great and they even packaged the extra for us, which came in handy later that night. We had such a great time and didn't worry at all on our wedding and I just cant say enough about how excellent everything from decor, food, staff, ect. was. If you are looking for a unique wedding venue this is it! Thank you Bill Millers Castle for a perfect wedding day to remember!

Bill Miller's Castle was perfect! It had the rustic look we were looking for and was a stunning venue. Everyone at work was talking about how beautiful of a venue it was. It has a huge dance floor, 5 stone fireplaces, and a great bridal suite where the girls all got ready the morning of. The food from La Luna Catering was delicious! The best part of Bill Miller's Castle, aside from how beautiful of a venue it is, is the amazing staff. Cheri and Victoria did everything to make sure our day was perfect from start to finish. They took care of all the smaller details I hadn't even thought of, made sure to have my wine and handed me a glass during cocktail hour. Any time we were up from our seats during dinner, they were checking to see if they could get anything for us. They even offered our guests the same treatment to make sure they didn't need help with anything. They deserve every star for their hard work and amazing locale. I would recommend this venue to everyone!!

The moment my fiancé and I walked into this place, we knew it was the one! It was a far cry from the standard white walled wedding venues that need colored lighting, drapery and decorations to personalize the room. None of our guests had ever been there before or seen a place quite like it. From The high beamed ceilings, to the chandeliers, to the fireplaces, to the tall windows behind the King and Queen's thrones... it really is something out of a Fairytale. Some complaints that I would have are that it did turn out to be pricier than initially thought because they nickel and dime you for lots of little things, like uplighting, venue fee, gratuities, microphones/podiums, renting certain decorations, different tablecloth and napkin colors etc. Also, I had a lot of questions early on and I was told by the coordinator that I had plenty of time later for those questions.. but I just wanted to know how to plan! believe me I was no Bridezilla!

My recent wedding was at Bill Miller's Castle, and I was so happy with this venue! My fiance and I were looking for a unique location for our ceremony and reception and Bill Miller's was perfect. This venue is absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and there is something visually interesting everywhere you look! Besides being beautiful and unique, the staff at Bill Miller's was also a pleasure to work with. Our day of coordinator, Lisa, was helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout the entire process and did everything that she could to ensure that our wedding ran smoothly. Every last person that we worked with there, from the owners, to the waitstaff, to the bartender (sooo friendly... she remembered my drink order every single time I went up there!!) was awesome to work with. We didn't have a florist to set up our centerpieces and decorations for us, and the staff at Bill Miller's volunteered to take on the job and did so exactly how I wanted. They even brought out some of their own decorations that fit my theme and everything looked even better than I imagined. My fiance and I were really so happy with how everything turned out and our guests raved about how beautiful Bill Miller's is (the venue was probably the top compliment we received on our wedding). Good food, gorgeous venue, kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating staff....there really was nothing not to like about Bill Miller's. Highly Recommended and we look forward to returning someday for one of your other events!!

Aside from the food and the insanely unique and charm of the castle, one of the biggest standouts are the people there. Lisa Miller and company made us feel like family from day 1. They made our guests feel like they were family. From the get go we felt like we were in good hands, and as far as the venue was concerned, there would be nothing to worry about on our big day. \r\rWe knew the second we sat down to talk with Lisa in the \"pub\" area that this was the place for us, and we would make the same choice 1000 times over if we could.\r\r

They really made it personal and they are the kindest and most genuine people in the wedding business. They went the extra mile to make my wedding a dream come true. The venue is always gorgeous, but it was even more romantic and magical at night. The food was amazing! All of my guests raved about it even weeks after the wedding. I had my wedding at Bill Miller’s on 9/21/14 and was just so happy with how everything went. The venue is absolutely stunning- unique, beautiful and interesting. Lisa was my day-of coordinator and she was always polite, professional and helpful. She was exceptionally communicative- answered any questions I had quickly and completely. She knows what she’s doing, and she guided me through my day expertly- I was completely at ease and able to enjoy every detail. She also managed to orchestrate two huge surprises that took place during our reception without issue (there was a flash mob and then a surprise musical performance- and it all went off without a hitch). The food was amazing- I did a stationed buffet and added a mashed potato bar, which was a huge hit with my guests. Everyone told me I wouldn’t get to eat on my wedding day, but Lisa and her team ensured that the wedding party got plenty of apps during the cocktail hour and that my husband and I were able to enjoy our dinners. All of the servers were courteous and professional, and took great care of us. They treated us like family! Another thing I must mention- I opted to rent the new large bridal suite to get ready and take photos in, and I think it really made the day that much better. The room was beautiful and yielded stunning photos, plus my girls and I had plenty of room to get ready in. It was well worth the extra money. I just can’t say enough how happy I am with how everything went.

I can't imagine any other location than Bill Miller's Castle to get married.Every guest was impressed with the decor of the castle.Lisa Miller and Victoria were both very professional and attentive during the ceremony.Food including hors d'oeuvres was exceptionally delicious.Overall,phenomenal place to get married.

My fiancé (now husband) and I only had to look at one venue, and we knew right away we wanted Bill Milkers Castle! Personally, my favorite part is there's a place for everyone: a fancy lounge area for quiet family members who want to sit and talk in peace, spacious dance floor for the party people, a lovely deck outside for those who want fresh air... We have so many different personalities in both of our families, and everyone had a great time! Lisa made the wedding planning part so easy and fun too, couldn't have done it without her.\r\rThe food is to die for too by the way! \r\rWould totally recommend to anyone!!

My wedding was on 10 1214 at 3 PM in the afternoon we had beautiful weather and a beautiful service and most of all most perfect venue. Bill Millers Castle offers an array of options for where you want your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. From outside under the tree to inside by the fireplace upstairs or downstairs inside or out! Their is no cookie cutter style and get to make your wedding your own!! Not to mention to have it all in one place is so convenient for your guests! \rLisa and Victoria really made sure everything was perfect. From the set up of decorations and place cards to allowing my bridesmaids to drop off the dresses and providing direction for the band set up. All I had to worry about was dropping the decoration stuff off the day before and getting my hair and makeup done. I was relived to not have to delegate jobs to family when they needed time to get ready! Most exciting was when I arrived at ceremony everything was as I hoped for and it was all absolutely perfect! \rWe were never without a drink in hand or wondering what was next. Lisa got a hold of me (as the bride your floating from table to table all night) and let me know what was next. It truly was stress free! \rMy guests are still talking about the venue being so perfect. The price was perfect too match. I felt is was very reasonable for the amount of space you get, food being incredible and a personal wedding coordinator! The dance floor is huge and their are so many nooks for great photos. The entire space is lighted beautifully and you can change the colors behind the bride groom table. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating as well. If your considering this space...go for it! You will not be disappointed at all. \r\rMr. Bill Miller himself has left a incredible legacy to his family. The castle is a collection of antiques and rustic repurposed items from around CT. Lights outside are from the Merritt Parkway while the black iron inside from the good speed opera house and some windows from Yale! I loved this part. There is so much dark wood and grey tone stone it makes a magnificent place! Great for the lace/burlap theme! They decorate each season and honestly you could leave the tables bare and the place is gorgeous! This is the place for a picture perfect tailored wedding and stress free forever remembered important day!!

If you are going to get married....I highly recommend checking out Bill Miller's. It is completely unique, rustic and romantic all at the same time. With every turn there is a different nook or cranny with amazing charm and unbeatable photo ops. \rThey now have a HUGE bridal suite that can be rented to get ready in. So amazing! It is bigger than my apartment. It is gorgeous and made my day so nice and much simpler. There's also a second suite which is a great place for the guys to get ready!\rLisa Miller and her daughter Victoria were amazing. Lisa was very responsive to all of my questions and gave me reassurance the whole way. She guided me through the whole process....even helped with decorating ideas- and made sure all my centerpieces/decor were out just the way I wanted. Her daughter Victoria is so sweet....and made us all feel so comfortable. She even helped me to fix my sweaty hair after some crazy dancing!\rI cannot say enough about how amazing Bill Miller's Castle was! The dance floor was huge, the lighting was perfect....and our wedding was absolutely as beautiful and wonderful as I could have ever hoped for!!!!

Bill Miller's was amazing. Lisa was so accommodating throughout all of our planning and they took such great care of us. We got married 2 months ago and people are still talking about our wedding and one of our guests even booked his company Christmas party at Bill Miller's the night of our wedding. We didn't have to worry about anything Victoria and Lisa took such great care of us. They let us do everything we wanted and didn't have extra fees when we asked to do something. The food was amazing too... My husband and I ate at our own wedding. The staff was amazing. We and our guests enjoyed every second of our wedding!

I only checked out one other venue before I fell in love with Bill Miller's Castle and couldn't have been any happier. The castle is amazing! They have great service and great ambiance. Victoria Smith (Coordinator) Hi, I’m Victoria! I have been an Event Coordinator here for over 6 years. I am the third generation of the Miller family who has owned and built the Castle since the early 60’s. I work with you from the moment you walk into our venue for a tour, through the planning stages and act as your Day of Coordinator.
