Camille Fischer(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2021 I was looking forward to having my wedding at the Biltmore early next year, but after basically begging the event staff for answers to very basic questions and multiple promises that were not kept, I sadly had to part ways with my Biltmore wedding. At this point I have been working with multiple other hotels as venue options and have yet to experience anything close to the unprofessionalism shown by the disinterested staff at the Biltmore. The building is beautiful (despite the fact it looks unkept, which may be due to Covid), but not worth the complete lack of customer service you will receive. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if in the search for a wedding venue. Reviewed on 15-04-2021
Af Ah(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2021 My partner and I have been researching venues in the area and the Biltmore seemed like a nice option. Unfortunately, there were warning signs from the very beginning. When I requested an appointment they gave me one two and a half weeks out, and by that time we had already talked to most of our other options and and my partner had already personally been to most of them. Since my partner is visiting our potential venues on our behalf, I requested that they allow him and me to do a teleconference with their wedding coordinator, but they refused and said that the conversation would happen between the coordinator and me. I was told that the coordinator would call me, and when the day and time of the appointment rolled around, she stood me up. I am quite surprised with their lack of professionalism and common courtesy despite them being part of the hospitality industry. Reviewed on 25-03-2021

Danielle B(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-01-2020 I spent about four months looking at countless venues because I wanted a large venue in Miami that would still have an amazing Plan B in case it rained. The Biltmore was perfect. My family and I loved working with Jenny, who was the sweetest. She made the tasting so fun and worked with our dietary restrictions so well! Although at times it was difficult to get a hold of someone at the Biltmore to answer our questions, they absolutely took care of us during the day of the wedding. The venue itself was gorgeous and made our wedding feel magical. We enjoyed the separate moment to eat the cocktail hour snacks on our own and loved seeing the reception hall decorated just the two of us. There was a waitress assigned just to us who was always there to offer a drink or water after dancing on the dance floor. I have the biggest smile on my face when I go through our wedding photos and see what a beautiful ambiance the Biltmore provided to our wedding. Although our wedding was a beautiful day, we did have some difficulties. My grandfather passed away 3 days before the wedding, but the staff at the Biltmore were so understanding about how this would affect our guest list. Then, the suite they provided was amazing, but unfortunately we were not able to enjoy it because my husband's grandfather passed away the morning after the wedding. I cannot say enough about how grateful I was about how they allowed us to have extra time while we and his family were at the hospital. They worked with us during these emergencies, and that was very much appreciated. Reviewed on 26-03-2020

The Biltmore staff really knows how to put on an event. We were able to let go and enjoy our day because we could trust them to get things done right. All of the vendors have experience at the venue so everything goes very smoothly. Another plus, they have food on-site. And it’s great food at that. It really makes the whole planning process so much easier. Especially if you are planning from out of state and/or country. I would recommend being very hands on with the venue throughout the planning as they are very busy throughout the year and it can be difficult to communicate. Overall, 5 stars! Reviewed on 09-01-2020

It was perfect in every way and we would never have changed a thing. In the months leading up to the day, we worked with Vanessa who is very professional, very communicative and responsive, organized and detail oriented. And on top of all that, she is so sweet and FUN to work with! I worked also very closely with Jamal, the banquet chef. We had a very specific idea for our dinner choices and Jamal worked so closely and diligently with me and Vanessa to get it right. Our dinner was PERFECT and delicious, the best food we've ever had at any wedding. On the day of the wedding, the staff could not have been more helpful. The bride and groom have their own valet following them making sure they have all their drink needs met during the entire evening. Our flow for the evening was a bit different than most, but all at The Biltmore were happy to work with us to give us everything we wanted. Most of our guests were from out of town. We could not have asked for a more grand wow factor for our guests' arrival and stay for the weekend. We were lucky in that The Biltmore just finished a renovation of their lobby and guest rooms and we could not have been more proud to have our guests come to the area for the first time and stay at this gorgeous and iconic hotel. We looked at many, many other wedding venues in the area and I can say with 100% certainty that we are so thrilled we chose The Biltmore. While it was costly, it \"appeared\" as if we spent a lot more! Class and elegance all the way. Yet we were also able to jump in the pool at 2 AM!They do NOT give you the Ritz Carlton service in the months leading up to your wedding. You work with your wedding planner to get organized. Then the week of your wedding, you give them the info they need. They do weddings every weekend and they have the catering formula down pat. The Lead Sales woman Natalia was extremely helpful and we worked well together. They gave ample food, didn't run out, the Biltmore was generous in the portions and quality of food and level of service. The architecture and setting is stunning. We were 90% out of town guests, no-one had been to a wedding at the Biltmore - this created a huge WOW factor and added tremendously to the elegance of the setting. Even if the food sucked, we still would have impressed but the food was good. My suggestion - stay calm in the months leading up to the wedding and don't annoy the ____ out of them. Rather work with your mandatory planner. And trust the Biltmore will show up in the end - and your guests will love the location / setting. Reviewed on 10-04-2016
Claire Motyka(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-03-2016 I don't know where to begin with the tremendous service the Bitlmore provided with our wedding planning. Bruce and Natalia are a DREAM team, answering every question I had along the way while planning my fairytale wedding. I went to school right down the street at the University of Miami, so the Biltmore holds a very special place in my heart --- this is why I chose this as our wedding venue. Aside from the charm, the hotel itself offers a range of activities for guests as well as attention to detail that is unmatched (my husband golfed on their world wide known course and raved about it). We were looking for a more old school kind of feel and the Biltmore provided us just that. The Granada Ballroom was spectacular and the detail throughout the room was only amplified with the uplighting we had set up around the room. As my husband said, it looks like a castle from the Game of Thrones! (Except we didn't have a red wedding hah!). The food was exquisite and Natalia handled every single catering request we had --- even down to the food for the Bride and Groom suites for getting ready. We had our ceremony out on the back lawn and were so lucky we had such beautiful weather --- and a gorgeous view while we said our vows. Bruce was there to help with preparations with the vendors and everything of the sort --- we could not have put this production on without the two of you helping! Jennifer Levine(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-04-2014 There were a couple other venues in the Miami area that I liked, but when I walked into the Biltmore I gasped (literally) and just KNEW right away that this was it. The outside is of course a wow factor, but the inside is just spectacular, the high ceilings and the architecture and detail everywhere. It felt like walking into Europe, and the beautiful, colorful birds in the lobby were just the cherry on top.\r\rThe service here is great, too. We were made to feel like royalty on our wedding day, and Christina was there helping us every step of the way, too, with planning. The food was amazing (our guests RAVED about the food!), we didn't need to spend money on decor because the venue is already spectacular on its own, and the hotel is so big that even though there were 2 other weddings happening on the same day as ours, we never saw anyone from the other parties or even glimpsed the other brides, and we didn't feel any less special.\r\rThere are only two downsides to having your wedding at the Biltmore. The biggest one is the cost -- they have a $30,000 MINIMUM on food, not to mention the cost of service fees, etc. Granted, the food is amazing, so at least there's that, but still. Definitely something to be forewarned about.\r\rThe second downside is that the hotel is very rigid/inflexible about a lot of their rules: you have to choose from their specific menu options, you can't have music outside during the ceremony, any customization is met with a LOT of resistance. That said, we did customize a lot for our wedding, and -- after a ton of back and forth (really, way more than should have been necessary, so much resistance!) -- they did step up and delivered beautifully on what we wanted. (For instance, instead of a champagne toast, we wanted a pina colada toast. They basically told us we were nuts and this was not an option, but I stuck to my guns, and the pina coladas were delicious -- and our guests loved how \"us\" it was!)\r\rI should also mention the bridal suite they put us in, which was beautiful! Of course we didn't get to spend much time in it, but while we were there we felt so special. There was a living room with a balcony, a complementary champagne and fruit tray, and each night we found the bed decorated with rose petals! It was really wonderful.\r\rAll in all, I'm so happy we decided to have our wedding at the Biltmore. It did cost a small fortune, but it was well worth it for a fairy tale wedding that we (and our guests) will be talking about for years to come. Reviewed on 04-10-2014
Jodi Schneider(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-02-2014 People dream of getting married at the Biltmore and don't get me wrong, the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. However, working with them was a really huge headache. From the very beginning I never felt like my business was important to them. They were very unwilling to compromise from day 1. In fact, they tried to force us to guarantee that we would book the 20 rooms above their ballroom (at over $400/night) because our wedding was going until 1 am instead of 12 pm. We even had meetings with them and they were very snoody and even had the nerve to ask \"Why do you want to get married here?\" almost as to push me out the door which I really didn't appreciate. As time went on, they did become slightly nicer and more willing to work with us on things, even upgrading us to a larger ballroom at no additional charge which we really did appreciate since that meant we didn't have to guarantee those 20 hotel rooms. Ultimately, on the day of the wedding, things ran extremely smoothly (except that we paid extra for hot crunchy churros with chocolate sauce that came out cold, soggy and with no chocolate sauce). The staff there really does know how to run a wedding day like a well oiled machine and I really did appreciate that. Unfortunately though, everything leading up to the wedding itself was really a hassle to the point that I actually would not recommend this venue. It is beautiful, and your wedding will ultimately be gorgeous here, but you're going to deal with a lot of headache and frustration leading up to your wedding day. It's a shame because this hotel holds so many events and so many weddings I didn't feel special or like my business was appreciated, I felt like a number and I felt like any time I reached out I was being an annoyance and frankly, I don't feel that any bride should feel that way, especially when spending the kind of money that this venue charges. I was a bit worried right before the reception, i just wasn't sure what to expect, especially in terms of the music, but everything was flawless! The one thing i would change, is that the hotel has two coordinators, one for the vendors and one for the catering department. For me, who was out of town, it would have been much easier to have one point of contact. I found it a bit confusing going back and forth between the two and who was responsible for what. Also, our vendor coordinator could have been a bit more pro-active in terms of advising as to when the cutoff time for changes with vendors were and not pushing services that were not necessarily needed. \rIn addition the hotel stay was wonderful, the suite was beautiful.
