Bishop Farmstead is a wedding venue located in Vincentown, NJ. It's a vintage barn that was originally constructed in 1932 and sits on 12 acres of native grasslands. The historic farmhouse at Bishop Farmstead dates back to the 1750s. It seamlessly integrates modern comforts with the barn's original charm and character. My wife and I got married at Bishop Farmstead on 11/5/23 and it could not have been more perfect! We worked with Gina to plan all the details and she made everything so easy, organized, and stress-free for us. She was there for our whole event and made sure everything ran smoothly. We got so many compliments from our guests, and we both had so much fun! We can't thank Gina, JAM Catering, and all the staff at Bishop Farmstead enough. They made all of our wildest dreams come true :)

My fiancé and I just booked at Bishop Farmstead in Southampton for the end of next September. We were very impressed by the rustic venue and we loved that it was something unique and different compared to the others that we toured. Danielle Wilson was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. We are looking forward to our upcoming tasting at the end of January and can't wait to see how it all unfolds next September. We will be getting married at Bishop Farmstead in less than two weeks!! We have had such a great experience working with JAM catering and our event designer Gina. Gina has helped all of our dreams come true. We decided 6 weeks before our date that we wanted to add another vendor, a tattoo artist, and Gina checked with the venue and caterers and make sure that was ok! We are so excited with how our wedding is going to turn out. Gina has made this process so smooth for us and it really hasn't been to stressful. She is on top of every little detail so we don't have to be. We can't wait to get married on 11.11.23 and we want to thank Jeffrey A Miller Catering, The Pineland Preservation Alliance, and Gina for such a great experience!!

Absolutely amazing! I got married at Bishop Farmstead on 9/16/23 and it was beyond perfect! My planner Gina and her assistant Kayla made sure every detail was spot on and the day flowed perfectly with zero hiccups. Gina was beyond helpful during the entire process (I can’t say I was the most organized bride lol) she made sure every detail was complete and everything came together beautifully. The food was amazing and the entire vibe of the day was perfect. So grateful for Gina and Kayla’s expertise in making it such a perfect day! Bishop farmstead itself is a hidden gem in South Jersey. My husband and I both grew up in the area and happened to stumble upon it while venue searching and it truly is such a beautiful venue guests couldn’t get over how stunning the loft was as well as the grounds it’s on. We had an absolutely perfect day and we would recommend Bishop Farmstead/JAM/gina&kayla to anyone!

My fiancé and I really didn't want to have your typical Jersey wedding in a ballroom so we decided we wanted to go for an elevated farm/barn look. We had visited a few other barns in the area but nothing blew us away. When we got onto the property of bishop farmstead and stepped in to the barn, we both instantly looked at each other because we knew this was our place. My favorite part is that cocktail hour is held downstairs/outside and there is a \"reveal\" of the upstairs reception space. The wooden tables, Edison bulbs and ambiance are breathtaking. The event staff are so thorough and attentive to all of your questions. They break down the costs in simple terms and we didn't feel like we were being \"tricked\" into any hidden fees, or pressured to add anything on. We had the wedding of our dreams on Sunday 8/20/23. We couldn't have picked a better place to get married. The venue was so beautiful, the gardens were gorgeous and the entire vibe was exactly what we imagined. Everyone who attended said that the food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and I can't argue because it was spectacular.I wouldn't be able to write this 5 star review if it wasn't for Gina our Wedding Designer, she is the only reason our day went as smoothly and as perfect as it did. We had the wedding of our dreams on Sunday 8/20/23. We couldn't have picked a better place to get married. The venue was so beautiful, the gardens were gorgeous and the entire vibe was exactly what we imagined. We are getting married at the Bishop Farmstead in Southampton NJ with Jeffrey Miller Catering this Saturday!!!!!We chose this venue for the historic barn, presentation partnership, and catering through JAM Catering. The main event space is a big beautiful red barn with an outdoor area and lower level for cocktail hour. The stairs in the main barn were a key feature to our choosing this venue for our wedding as they provide a great background for pictures and a grand entrance to the reception space. They lead to a second floor which is the main barn area for dinner.The venue also houses a historic farmhouse built in the 1750s by a second-generation Quaker farmer and is now home to a nature preserve.Included in our package is a custom menu from JAM, access to private wedding party suites for getting ready, a team of wedding professionals to help with the details, and beautiful outdoor spaces for pictures and video of our wedding.We had a private tasting with JAM in Philadelphia where we got to try a sampling of hors d'oeuvres, salad, dinner, and desserts with as private chef. The food was absolutely incredible!!!!! Everything was fresh, farm-to-table, unique, and beautifully presented. It was a great date night and we were totally stuffed at the end!Really looking forward to our big day this weekend!

Bishop Farmstead was the first venue my fiancee and I visited -- and the last! We fell in love with the beautifulhayloft and meadow-like outdoor space and knew we need not look any further. Cake and catering is included, and though we were initially nervous about not having a choice over catering, Jeffrey A. Miller catering definitely pulled through. At the group tasting, the tomahawk steak and BBQ pulled pork in a jar were the night's favorites. And though I am not vegan, the vegan meal and cake options were unfairly delicious! Pick Bishop -- you're in good hands!

The pictures of the venue blew us away and we were even more impressed when we toured it in person. The grounds are stunning and the barn is rustic and beautiful. The JAM team and our Bishop Farmstead event designer have been super helpful thus far. Their wedding planning manual has been a life saver! We recently had our food tasting and loved all of the delicious, farm-to-table options. October can't come soon enough!

The inside has two floors; the bottom floor can be used for additional cocktail hour space, but the upstairs Hayloft is the main focus: designated for the reception, which is beautiful. This venue can easily host our 120 guest wedding, and I cannot wait to see our vision come to life there!

Miller catering was also an amazing experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and just plain delicious. We are still getting so many compliments on both the food and the venue! The catering was one of the major selling points when picking our venue, especially knowing that our wedding at Bishop Farmstead would be farm to table and that they could accommodate food allergies! They were so thoughtful with every detail of the process, and the event staff even told me what items to avoid for cocktail hour since I have a lot of food allergies. The cocktail hour was phenomenal. It was so lovely to meet and chat with Jeffery during cocktail hour! The food portions during the sit down tasting of entrees and desserts were much bigger than expected and so fresh and good. It was hard to pick a favorite! Can’t wait to plan our menus and for our big day!

We got married last week 11/5/22. It was absolutely amazing! I knew the venue was going to be just what I wanted but I was blown away with everything. I can’t say enough good things about our wedding event planner, Gina. She helped make our dream wedding come to life. The staff, the food, decor… all 10/10. So many guest said the food was delicious. I agree! I would highly recommend Bishop Farmstead to anyone looking for a beautiful barn wedding. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you all that helped make our wedding unforgettable.

This is an amazing place for a Wedding. Gina, our wedding coordinator is great and very quick to respond. The price is very affordable, but the location and view seems like it should be worth a lot more. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. All and all, my fiancée and I are very happy with this venue and can’t wait for the big day!

From the time we booked with Bishop Farmstead to our anticipated wedding date, we've had less than 4 months to plan... which in theory is a very short and stressful timeframe. Our Event Coordinators onsite with Bishop Farmstead and with JAM caterers, who they work with exclusively, have made it a breeze though! They are super responsive and willing to answer any/all questions. They immediately scheduled us for a group tasting (which was AMAZING and such a fun date night experience). They also provided a list of preferred vendors they have worked with previously which they pre-screened based on our needs and availability -- booked my photographer and florist based on their recs! They also offer options to personalize your décor (choice of table settings and flatware) and offer extras (flameless candles, framed table numbers, romance package for the bride and groom's table) so there is way less to worry about on your own. They have kept us on track to make our day the most special it can be and I could not be happier with our choice! Also could not say enough about the delicious, farm to table food!

Our event coordinator, Gina, has been working very hard to ensure our planning process is as effortless as possible. She has made our lives so much easier and is a joy to work with. You cannot beat Bishop Farmstead for aesthetics - this venue is situated on an incredibly beautiful, open, and quiet piece of land that really will create the entire mood for your wedding day. The grounds are secluded and stunning - our wedding was in the middle of November so we still had some foliage, and the combination of the colors of the trees with the field grasses and the striking red of the barn during our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour was so beautiful. The use of the hayloft for our reception added an extra layer of surprise for our guests - the loft is truly magical. That first walk up the stairs when the chandelier comes into view is so striking, and the farmhouse style tables made for a really intimate dining experience. The food was amazing - a few of our guests told us the braised short rib was one of the best things they’d ever eaten - and they had a nice number of accommodations for our vegan and gluten-free guests as well. Finally, I cannot say enough good things about our planners Erika and Veronica - not only did our entire day go off without a hitch, but they worked with us tirelessly to make sure every detail was perfect and exactly what we dreamed of. I truly felt like our day was just as important to them as it was to us. They were also so helpful in planning our back-up rain plan, which we ended up not needing, but I was confident would be no less beautiful! They literally made the magic happen and I am so grateful we got to work with them.

I worked with Danielle who is everything you want in a coordinator. She is so kind, organized, responsive and knowledgeable. I felt completely comfortable and relaxed on the big day knowing she was organizing everything, keeping us on time and creating seemless transitions between events. The event staff was professional and courteous. Shoutout to the bartenders as well, one of our signature cocktails was the bees knees and guests who did not even like gin were ordering a second one! The welcome drinks were refreshing and cool on a warm September day. The venue is gorgeous. The barn is exactly as described, rustic and elegant. The grounds are earthy and ethereal and provide many different opportunities for photos. As someone who loves to garden and nature, the native plants on the property were an added bonus. The little details like the wooden cart for cocktails, the string lights that wrap around the trees, and the firepit for smores are the little things that make this venue so special. We felt so taken care of throughout the entire process of planning and leading up to the big day. Danielle was there with just us and our photographer when we saw our entire vision put together and I honestly teared up! Cannot recommend this venue enough! All of our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. We are so happy our wedding was at Bishop Farmstead.

We booked the date on our initial visit back in October of 2019, my daughter, Audrey, fell in love with the venue immediately, however it was Erika who really made this visit special. She realized instantly the importance of making Audrey feel that this day was all about her.Erika made herself readily available regarding our plans for the day. Then Covid hit. Erika walked us through the postponement process and made things work as best as possible. Even though we lost the Saturday date we were happy with the new Friday plans.All through 2020 and 2021 Erika continued to take a hands-on approach in making Audrey’s vision for this wedding happen. Erika is a special person, and it was our good luck that brought her to us.Then came our amazing Wedding Planner, Veronica. As the date approached Veronica worked tirelessly helping to reduce the stress on all of us. She was always available night or day. It seemed like my wife was always on the phone with Veronica. Veronica was able to produce everything Audrey wanted for her wedding day. As she walked us upstairs to view the completed barn Audrey was in tears. She was in amazement of the beauty of it all. Thank you for our Veronica.The Wedding Day was spectacular. Each and everyone of your staff was so professional. The suggested vendors did a wonderful job. We booked the date on our initial visit back in October of 2019, my daughter, Audrey, fell in love with the venue immediately, however it was Erika who really made this visit special. She realized instantly the importance of making Audrey feel that this day was all about her.Erika made herself readily available regarding our plans for the day. Then Covid hit. Erika walked us through the postponement process and made things work as best as possible. Even though we lost the Saturday date we were happy with the new Friday plans.All through 2020 and 2021 Erika continued to take a hands-on approach in making Audrey’s vision for this wedding happen. Erika is a special person, and it was our good luck that brought her to us.Then came our amazing Wedding Planner, Veronica. As the date approached Veronica worked tirelessly helping to reduce the stress on all of us. She was always available night or day. It seemed like my wife was always on the phone with Veronica. Veronica was able to produce everything Audrey wanted for her wedding day. As she walked us upstairs to view the completed barn Audrey was in tears. She was in amazement of the beauty of it all. Thank you for our Veronica.The Wedding Day was spectacular. Each and everyone of your staff was so professional. The suggested vendors did a wonderful job. Its almost been two months since our wedding and Im still REELING over how perfect every detail of the day turned out. I planned our wedding from out of state and booked Bishop Farmstead all through FaceTime - it was a risk but BOY was it the right choice. The venue itself is STUNNING and you really can add your own touch (go big with the cocktail hour stations - they are so much fun). Cant believe I’m admitting this but I cried when I finally saw the hayloft - theres something magical about it. Erika and Danielle truly are the DREAM TEAM and will go above and beyond to make any request happen. Not only do they help you every step of the way, but they also feel like wedding family by the time the big day arrives. I still am dreaming about the FOOD and Ive gotten messages from friends who are wishing they could go back (BBQ in a jar and our entree’s chimichurri sauce was a huge hit). 10/10 in every way. NO REGRETS.

I am so excited to share with you my experience so far with Bishop Farmstead. We were originally scheduled to have our wedding on September 19, 2020......then Covid happened. Erika and the team worked with me to reschedule for 2021. Although, we didn't get our original Saturday in September they made sure to find a date that worked for both parties. I am beyond thrilled for our upcoming wedding on November 5, 2021. Our event planner, Gina, is doing an amazing job at helping my vision come to life. I think she is almost as excited as me to execute the plan! If you are looking for a barn wedding with modern amenities this is the place for you. Can we talk about the vaulted barn ceiling and gorgeous lighting! That was the big selling point for us. In the beginning of March 2020 right before the big Covid shut down we had our food tasting! TALK ABOUT DELICIOUS! Absolutely everything we had was incredible. My husband and I always find wedding entrees to be kind of blaaahhhh but not here! All the entrees have a special twist that make them so unique. What's even better is that all their ingredients are farm to table and fresh...sometimes picked from their own urban garden! I highly recommend having a wedding at Bishop Farmstead. If the venue isn't your style be sure to check out other JAM catering venues. You won't be disappointed.

From the start, they made planning more manageable and orderly but, were always genuine and gave creative advice or wedding industry perspective for certain details when I asked. When COVID happened, I honestly thought our wedding could never be what I had always wanted; We postponed 3 additional times but, finally, we were able to celebrate this past July.Throughout all this rescheduling and chaos, not only did Erika always make me feel as though our wedding was her first priority amidst the everyone having to delay, but, on our day, she went above and beyond to move mountains and make sure it was everything I had waited so long for. They really took advantage of the time during the pandemic to add so many improvements to the barn, I could hardly believe it. Walking through days before the big day, I was so freaking glad I had Erika on my side to execute the vision!I had always dreamed/planned/prayed for an outdoor ceremony with our dogs and somehow on a rainy day, Erika made it happen. After the wedding, she even gave us a live band recommendation to see on our honeymoon (and they were awesome)! Overall, as a COVID Bride, Erika Borton and the entire team at Bishop Farmstead were incredibly dedicated to giving us the whole experience! I can’t wait to see our photos!

I'm sad that I only get 3500 words to describe how BEAUTIFUL Bishop Farmstead is. We were supposed to get married 10/30/20, however, we had to postpone due to the pandemic. We reached the finish line on 5/7/21. We were the first wedding of the season and I cannot express my gratitude enough for Erika, Gina, Danielle, & all of JAM Catering. Planning a wedding during & through COVID was an absolute disaster (on our end), But everyone at Bishop really made this a smooth transition. From beginning to end we had nothing but a positive experience. I know this venue is new, however, it's like it's been around for 20 years. Erika, Gina, & Danielle listened to our concerns and worked tireless to give us what we wanted within reason of COVID restrictions. They held our hand the entire way, because we truthfully were lost without them. Our wedding was pure magic and we owe it all to them. If you're looking for a rustic barn wedding with modern amenities. BOOK HERE NOW! The food is dynamite, my guests are still raving about it. You bring your own alcohol, but honestly, trust me, it works out better that way. The grounds are gorgeous and they make for such amazing photos. It's like NJ's best kept secret. They are LGBTQ+ friendly, we may have been the first bride/bride wedding there, but us being two females DID NOT change a thing. Not one person treated us any differently than if we were a man & a woman. The amount of openness, love, and comfort that was felt from the entire staff is something that I will never forget. We had a hard time finding a venue that accepted same sex marriage ceremonies on venue grounds and when we asked the response was \"Is that even a question\"?. The moral of the story is, the entire staff treats you as if you were one of their own. They truly love what they do and will go above and beyond for your special day.

There is a charming staircase, which can be decorated - but there is also an elevator for those who need it! The rustic appearance is not sacrificed for function here. It's beautiful!

Erika the wedding venue manager and the other Bishop Farmstead staff have gone above and beyond to communicate and take care of every detail to make sure that you, your guests, and the event staff will all be safe during the wedding, no matter what challenges may appear. A wedding is stressful enough! Good to know that we can trust the JAM staff to take the pandemic seriously and ensure the safety of all. They are also very responsive with their emails and keep all couples up to date with the regularly-changing New Jersey Covid protocols and other updates about the venue. I highly recommend this venue! Not to mention the barn and grounds are gorgeous and the food is delish!
