We loved having our wedding at Bliss Ridge. Jordan and Dan create an unique, supportive, and organized experience that makes planning and hosting a wedding an easy and memorable experience. There are stunning views, fantastic food, beautiful flowers, relaxed vibes, and an overall positive energy. Jordan and Dan, thank you for making this important moment in our lives so joyful for us and our family and friends. Reviewed on 01-01-2024

Bliss Ridge had everything we were looking for in a wedding venue and came highly recommended by every vendor in the area. It has amazing views, plenty of space, it feels like home but is equipped for a party (bar, bathrooms, parking area). Jordan has a great eye for details, the barn looked absolutely stunning and elegant with her draped fabric, soft lighting, and huge vintage rug for the dance floor. Because of the weather, we had our ceremony in the barn rather than in the majestic field as was planned but I would recommend this 10/10 even if there's no rain in the forecast. The roof overhead was kept things cool and shady and the alter was framed so nicely. It was also more accessible and comfortable for everyone. For anyone local to Vermont Bliss Ridge feels like true Vermont. For anyone from out of state, plan ahead because it is rural and rustic (authentic, which is what makes it so special), there's no cellphone service so day of coordination needs to be planned very well ahead of time. Highly recommend this venue. Can't say it enough. Reviewed on 07-12-2023

Such an amazing experience for everyone involved in the wedding and guests. The area is filled with the “Vermont” feel and the venue itself could not be better. Jordan was so helpful and a very reasonable price compared to similar ventures we shopped. I highly recommend Jordan and Bliss Ridge for your wedding if you want it to be memorable! Choosing Bliss Ridge was the best decision I made for my wedding day. I booked this venue just from pictures and the views and ambience exceeded my expectations. Most venues I looked at were either so overpriced or only offered an empty barn with no bathrooms, guidance with logistics, time to set up the day before, etc. Jordan, who lives on the property with her amazing family, helped me each step of the way. She is so human and really went above and beyond to make sure this was my dream day. She has so much experience in weddings and can lead you towards the best vendors (especially those who know the space!) I could go on and on but I am so happy my husband Matt and I have such a meaningful place to visit for future anniversaries. We love Bliss Ridge! Reviewed on 01-12-2023

Having our wedding at Bliss Ridge Farm was an absolute DREAM! It truly couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
The views were stunning, the barn is perfectly charming and we kept hearing all night how stunned our guests were with the beauty of Bliss Ridge! I grew up in VT yet most of my family traveled from out of town for the wedding and couldn’t have imagined a more dreamy Vermont backdrop to host everyone we love! The ceremony hill has a perfect view of all of the mountains I used to hike as a kid, and the foliage in peak season was surrounding us. All of the out of town relatives were raving about this beautiful place!
The barn is roomy for a big wedding yet never felt empty as some venues do, our dance floor was full of energy the entire night. I also highly recommend renting the treehouses!
Jordan definitely knows what she’s doing and gave us amazing recommendations for vendors. Take her recommendations! Reviewed on 27-11-2023

I got married at Bliss Ridge on 9/23/23 and it was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning when we toured the farm the owners (Jordan and Dan) made us feel like family. Once we booked Jordan was with us every step of the way, she sent details and things to help us. We were planning from out of state so having things like suggested vendors was a HUGE help.As for the venue itself it is beautiful!! The barn is rustic and dreamy but still has all you would need like tables and chairs, super clean bathrooms, and a gorgeous antique run dance floor! But the show stopper is the upper meadow where the ceremony takes place. It is like nothing I have ever seen before and truly blew all my guests away. You are surrounded by mountains, with lush trees, overlooking all of it, breathtaking! Our guests were saying that it was the most beautiful place for wedding they had ever been to!We opted to stay in 1 of the tree house of property that Dan built and we were just as pleased with that as well. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is beyond.I would 100000% recommend Bliss Ridge for a wedding, or really any event in general!! You will not be disappointed!! Reviewed on 20-11-2023

Bliss Ridge Farm was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. Jordan and Dan are so kind and helpful, and made us feel welcome and comfortable to have the exact day we wanted to have. The barn is spacious and has incredible character- it was incredible! Our guests had space inside and outside, and everyone kept talking about how gorgeous the view was. Our ceremony was staggeringly beautiful. Jordan checked in with us on a regular basis during planning, helped us put together a fabulous bar menu, and was so helpful during our wedding weekend. She gave us recommendations for other vendors and was available to talk through issues that came up. I cannot recommend Bliss Ridge enough for the perfect Vermont wedding! Reviewed on 07-10-2023

Bliss Ridge is an absolutely breathtaking property, well maintained and curated by Jordan and her family. Its simplicity lends itself to be a great canvas for whatever creative route the couple wants to take, and Jordan is an amazing visionary at making the dreams of her clients a reality. She has great connections with other vendors in the area, and knows her space and her events so well the execution of the big weekend is smooth and seamless. The ability to have venue access for the whole weekend is such a stress relief, and having bar, event coordination and floral design services all under one beautiful barn roof is amazing. Wouldn't change a thing! Reviewed on 03-10-2023
Jordan Shambo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2022 From the moment we visited Bliss Ridge for the first time, we knew it was the perfect wedding venue for us! From the beautiful panoramic views at the ceremony site to the rustic and magical barn, it had everything we wished for. Jordan and Dan were so welcoming, accommodating and experienced. During our wedding weekend, we knew we were in good hands as soon as we arrived. Unlike other venues, by sharing their family farm with us and our loved ones, they made our wedding feel more personal. As an added bonus, they have a beautiful treehouse on-site, which was used as a place for the groom and groomsmen to get ready, and then as a place for us to relax and recharge after our big day. From start to finish, our wedding weekend was a dream-come-true and we highly recommend Bliss Ridge Farm! Reviewed on 26-10-2022
Steph Manock(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2021 The moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew this was where we were meant to get married! It was a LONG two years waiting and postponing but it was worth the wait. We \"got married\" (aka renewed our vows) this past weekend on September 25th. The day was nothing short of amazing. Everything about Bliss Ridge surpassed any and all expectations we may have had. The barn is elegant and rustic at the same time. You are able to use your creation and imagination to make it your own and bring your dreams into reality. The ceremony site may be one of the most beautiful spots we have ever seen in our life. THIS is what captured our hearts- the views are absolutely breathtaking (and combined with the AMAZING foliage we had) we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. The trees were so colorful and was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and pictures. The grounds at Bliss Ridge are so accommodating and give guests a chance to walk around and explore (the pond, the garden, the fields, etc.). The flow of the cocktail hour allowed guests to mingle and spend time outside on the beautiful green grounds. Guests were so excited to take the hay ride to and from the ceremony (we got so many compliments on this fun addition). All night long, we received so many compliments that this was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen and they were so grateful to be there (and that the 3 hour drive was TOTALLY worth it!)None of this would have been possible without Jordan and Dan. They were amazing to work with and were so accommodating. They helped make this day run smooth and eliminated any stress we may have had. We can't wait to return in the near future to stay at the amazing Treehouse. Cheers to Jordan & Dan and cheers to Bliss Ridge. Keep up the good work! You are making dreams come true (literally!!) Matt Porter(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-09-2019 When we first arrived at Bliss Ridge, we fell in love with the property even though it was in the middle of “mud season.” Jordan and her husband take so much loving care of their property and barn it is perfect for a rural wedding. From our wedding out in the meadow to reception in the barn, everything was perfect. Jordan had to work around mother nature, and made sure everyone had access to umbrellas when it started to sprinkle at the very end of our ceremony. She paid attention to all of the small details. We hired her to do the day of wedding coordination, and could not have been happier! Jordan also did our flowers providing meticulous care and beautiful arrangements that came mostly from her own garden. She took so much care of everything, and did it with a smile. It’s clear she loves to take care of couples. If you want a serene, natural site for your wedding ceremony with a top notch reception venue, Bliss Ridge is it! Reviewed on 25-11-2019

Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-08-2017 We only looked at one wedding venue because as soon as we met Jordan (the owner/Coordinator) and saw that view from the ceremony meadow, we were in. I can't imagine having our wedding any other place. The ceremony spot has views for miles (we could even seen Camel's Hump, where my husband proposed, from our ceremony), the land has all sorts of beautiful areas to play with for your event, and Jordan is knowledgeable about all of the good stuff in the area. We knew we wanted to choose all of our own vendors and do a ton of DIY elements to our wedding (we <3 projects), so the fact that Jordan would suggest vendors but not require that you choose any ways just what we were looking for. On top of that, tables and chairs for both cocktail hour and dining are available, as well as a host of other things. The barn dresses up REAL nice--my mom admitted that she didn't \"see it,\" when we were there the day before setting up, but was \"astounded\" at how beautiful and elegant it could look. Whatever ma, you've gotta trust. We didn't add much to the way that the barn is decorated on the baseline. Just a few personal touches and you are good to go.Jordan is a delight to work with! She is laid back and hip, and has great style (which is useful when you are trusting her to manage the day-of details). My suggestion to future Bliss Ridge brides is to ask Jordan before obsessing over details (like: bug spray--she'll have it, decorating you're Chuppah with flowers because your friendor who is in charge of flowers doesn't feel comfortable--yep, she can do that, umbrellas? You got it. etc.). She can have everything you want covered--and though she sends a list of all the things you can use or rent from the place, she had all sorts of extras up her sleeve when we needed them in a pinch. She offers full coordination and day-of coordination. We had her do the day-of coordination and everything went super smoothly. I wasn't worried about anything because I knew Jordan understood our vision and had everything under control.I love Bliss Ridge and wish I could spend all my waking hours there. It is such a special place, and I am so happy we have this special memory from our time there. Reviewed on 03-03-2018
sarah anzlovar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2016 What an amazing spot to get married! Even though it rained (poured!) for much of our wedding day, it was still a magical place. Working with Jordan, the property owner, was a real pleasure. She is super laid back (easing much of your stress), but organized and will execute whatever you ask for. She was completely available as much or as little as you need her, and will make sure your day runs smoothly (if you use her for coordination). Just be sure to ask what's included in the fee because it's definitely a \"bring most stuff yourself/rent it\" kind of spot. Perfect for the couple that wants anything but a cookie cutter wedding. We couldn't have been happier to get married here. Reviewed on 07-09-2016

Hello! We take great joy in welcoming you to share our extremely unique slice of heaven here at 88-acre Bliss Ridge Farm. We transformed the barn from its (c. late 1800s origin) identity as a hay and milking barn, into a rustic-chic space for our own wedding reception in 2010, and have been creating magical events since 2011. We are an organic farm, growing: grass-fed beef, hay, ducks, chickens, pigs, events, treehouse lodging, and children!
