Blooming Hill Farm is a wedding venue and working farm situated in Blooming Grove, NY. This family-run farm has over 100 acres of land for couples to use on their wedding day. For those dreaming of a wedding away from the bustling city, this organic and quaint farm could be the setting youâve always dreamed of. Blooming Hill Farm has three indoor and outdoor event spaces for couples to use during their celebrations. Intimate ceremonies can take place on the grounds open meadow. Ideal for smaller ceremonies or elopements, this spot is complete with a green farmhouse and fresh vegetation growing in the backdrop. You and your loved one can exchange vows as the gentle breeze flows between the trees and throughout your event space. The gorgeous green barn area can be used for an intimate, backyard wedding, and also for cozy cocktail hours for you and your new family members. Here, you can raise a toast to love, mingle with guests, and watch as the sunsets over the farmâs horizon. Before your reception, you and your guests are free to explore the expansive farm, store, and much more. A large marquee is included on this siteâs lawn area for a larger wedding reception. Your marquee can be configured in several ways and has ample room for seated guests, dining, a dance floor, and live entertainment if desired. Upon booking your wedding at this farm, you will be offered comprehensive packages to ensure that everything runs smoothly. These options include a sail-cloth tent, tables, chairs, linens, glassware, flatware, lighting fixtures, and full-service catering using fresh produce from the farm itself. Your catering can include passed hors d'oeuvres and appetizers followed by a formal reception dinner. Whatâs more, the team at this farm will coordinate with all your vendors to make sure that your big day is everything you dreamed it would be.

We got married at Blooming Hill Farm in October and it was the perfect day! The venue is beautiful, unique and picturesque, but itâs the event staff that made our experience a dream come true. Kate and Taylor were our coordinators and hands down the best part of our experience. They made things run so smoothly on the day of, that my husband and I couldnât believe how seamless everything was - we truly didnât have to worry about a thing. They were so helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way, and always quick to respond to the countless questions we had throughout the process. The food was outstanding! We had such a fun tasting and selection process as well - and every dish turned out perfectly. Several of our guests mentioned it was the best food theyâd had at a wedding. We did family style, too, which was really fun. Finally, we have to shout out Nadine who did our florals! We had one quick meeting, one phone call and I sent over a few inspiration photos and she absolutely nailed the look I wanted.

Five stars is not nearly enough! We got married at Blooming Hill Farm in October 2023, and everything about it was a dream come true. Caitlin, Taylor, Kate, and the entire BHF events staff made the day run so smoothly, and made planning our own wedding feel relatively easy! They were there to support us at every step of the way; from making sure we were on track with booking initial vendors to helping us create and finalize our seating chart, we never felt alone in the planning process. When the weather was looking questionable for our wedding day, Caitlin made us feel so at ease by walking through every single step and detail of our inclement weather plan (which in the end, we ended up not having to use! đ ). The weather is definitely a gamble you willingly take with an outdoor venue, but knowing from day one that we would have a plan B gave us a huge amount of reassurance.The natural beauty of the farm is already enough to create an aesthetically beautiful event. But it was Nadine, the farm's florist, who took it to another level by creating the most magical, elegant arrangements for us, and working with us to ensure that every decor detail we envisioned was brought to life.Finally, we cannot rave enough about the food at Blooming Hill. It is beyond incredible, and truly the BEST food we have ever had at a wedding (call us biased, but many of our guests have said the same)! We did family style which allowed our guests to sample everything, and everyone loved it. The drinks were incredible as well - BHF offers an amazing selection of wines and local beer, and our guests are still talking about the signature cocktails.All in all, we're big fans of Blooming Hill. Since we can't have our wedding 100 more times, I guess we'll just have to keep coming back to eat at the restaurant! ;)

We had our wedding at BHF on September 16th 2023 and it was the most wonderful experience and perfect wedding day. Our priorities when picking a venue were 1) outstanding, fresh food and 2) a down to earth, naturally beautiful space. BHF was this and much more. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they've ever had and that the venue was so charming and unique. We loved that you could utilize different areas of the farm for the evening, from the whimsical ceremony spot to the barn for cocktail hour. Plus, it made for beautiful pictures. The staff at the farm was also amazing - we worked with Caitlin from the beginning, who helped us stay organized, made sure we made all the decisions we needed to on time and fully take charge of the day-of logistics so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Caitlin and all other stuff were so helpful and sweet day-of, even our guests noticed and commented how fun/nice the staff were. If you're looking for a charming, outdoor space with amazing food (and with a built-in planner), would 100% recommend BHF.

We got married at BHF in early August 2023. We cannot say enough about how much we loved getting married at this venue! From the day we took our first tour we were blown away by the personal and intimate vibe of the farm. With so many different places on the venue grounds that are so gorgeous, from the restaurant to the barn to the ceremony field and reception tent, our guests were blown away by the feel and vibe of the place. We had so many people ask us afterward how we ever found such an amazing place to get married. We were extremely lucky to work with both Kate and Caitlin the BHF day of coordinators. They made everything run so smoothly and we did not feel that we had to worry about anything the day of. The food and drinks at BHF are incredible and a huge plus of getting married here. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was. All of the staff were extremely professional and accommodating to our requests and personalizations. The day of our wedding there was rain in the forecast and the way that the BHF staff handled it with backup rain plan was extremely reassuring. We could not have asked for a better place and people to work with for our wedding day!

We had a fantastic experience working with Blooming Hill Farm, specifically Caitlyn who helped manage our day essentially from start to finish. She was really easy to communicate with and answered every question with patience! One of the best things about the farm is that everything is basically included. The food was hands down the best food we have had at a wedding and they were so generous with portions and leftovers for us. The farm also has such naturally lovely decor from the barn area to the tree where we did the ceremony, outside of the florist we really didnât have to do much. Our guests were well fed and had a wonderful time around the bonfire and dancing in the barn, it was all around more than we could have asked for. Highly recommended!

We couldn't have pictured a more perfect wedding than ours at Blooming Hill Farm. The tent, the ceremony space, the cocktail hour barn, the attentive staff, the delicious food and drinks â there's not a thing I would change. We couldn't believe our luck with the amazing weather, and everything Caitlin describes as updates to the space when we first booked â a new bridge over the adorable stream, a wooden platform under the reception tent, and new seating for the ceremony - were all there a year after we first saw the space, which we didn't think could get any more beautiful, but somehow did. Caitlin is a perfect wedding coordinator - she knew exactly when to ask for more information, and when to say, \"You just tell me what you want, and I'll make it happen.\" We also worked with Nadine on-site for the flowers, who also took our inspiration and made beautiful displays for the tables, our bouquets, and the chuppah decoration. I'd recommend anyone who wants a mostly-outdoor, beautiful, and flawless wedding to get married here.

Even just for brunch this place is so wonderful and inviting but more so, it was the location of our perfect, magical wedding!Caitlin and Kate helped us so thoroughly every step of the way and were always so gracious and quick in their responses to any of our questions.The whole team worked with us to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted it to be and on the day of we didnât even have to think or lift a finger because everything ran so smoothly. The whole place is beautiful and magical and the food was absolutely delicious and we were consistently reminded by our guests about how it was the best wedding food theyâd had and that they were all so full.Whether itâs just for a meal or your event, BFH if a must visit.

I canât say enough positive things about Blooming Hill Farm and Caitlin Cullen, who is the on-site wedding coordinator - they were with us from the time we first booked them in 2019, to the postponement of the wedding due to COVID in 2020, to the day we finally were able to get married on 9/12/2021. Throughout the 2 years and 9 months it took us to get here, Blooming Hill Farm was nothing but AMAZING!! We fell in love with the venue because of the gorgeous outdoor setting and the insanely delicious food, but had no idea the depths to which they would go beyond to make our day perfect and so special. The way that they worked with us, answered the millions of questions we had on a regular basis, made sure everything was safe during COVID times, made adjustments during so many last minute changes, helped keep everything organized, maintained an extremely positive attitude throughout all of it will make my husband and I and our families forever grateful to them. I actually felt more calm on my wedding day because the venue was so serene and Caitlin did such a great job keeping everything organized. Despite being hit by the remnants of hurricane IDA a week prior to the wedding, everyone at the venue worked together to get it looking incredible for the weddings happening right after, you never would have known that there was ever any damage. It looked soooo magical. So many of our guests reached out to say this was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, that the setting was absolutely beautiful, the food was the best wedding food they had ever had, and so on. We know that this is in huge part to Blooming Hill Farm. We felt completely taken care of in every way. I 1000000% recommend Blooming Hill Farm as a venue, from all of the staff, to the delicious food, to the beautiful landscape, attention to detail and professional attitudes. Thank you BHF!!

Working with Blooming Hill Farm was THE BEST! Caitlin was our coordinator but Kevin was also a dream to work with. Blooming Hill Farm was the 2nd venue we visited. Even in the cold February winter where everything was dead and bare, we felt the magical energy and knew it was the one. It also checked all of our boxes: close enough to the city and northern NJ that makes travel easy for guests, all-inclusive services (e.g. planning, rentals, food), a natural landscape but not purely \"rustic,\" and amazing food and drink. Our wedding was on the first weekend of August, when the fields were tall and covered in purple, white, and yellow wildflowers. Everywhere you turned was an Instagrammable moment. The ceremony area was gorgeous with the fully bloomed tree and cocktail hour was held in the \"barn\" and garden area. The reception was on the field under a beautiful sailcloth tent that provided shade and the bistro string lights added to the ambiance. The food and drinks were phenomenal. We even had some critical foodie friends say that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. But what made our experience outstanding was the staff. We worked with both Kevin and Caitlin who were calm and collected throughout the planning period that ran during COVID. They recommended great places to host the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks in the area. The staff took care of everything from setup to take down (and packaged all of our decor so neatly!) so it was such a relief not having to worry about those details. Nadine did the flowers and delivered beyond what I could've imagined. Our guests were so blown away by the entire experience and could not stop saying how much they loved the food and scenery. Choosing a venue can be scary since it's one of the first big decisions you have to make in wedding planning. If you feel it in your gut like we did that this is the place, you won't regret it. We are still over the moon and cannot recommend BHF enough. We're so glad they have a restaurant so we can go back as often as we can to relive one of the best days ever.

There is absolutely nothing that weâd change about our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm. First of all, we were doing all the planning remotely during Covid and Caitlin was so easy to communicate with every step of the way: sheâs very levelheaded and straightforward about everything, and answered all of the dozens of questions we threw at her. Second, the location is absolutely gorgeous, even though itâs a functional farm itâs incredibly picturesque and feels classy without being uptight/stiff like some other wedding venues; all of our photos looked amazing. And itâs so nice that there are different areas around the farm so not all the events take place in one location: the ceremony is in a secluded grove in the back, cocktails are in the most charming âbarnâ and the reception was under a really pretty tent. Lastly, the food is the amazing in and of itself, let alone at a wedding! BHF operates a farm-to-table (or is it actually table-to-farm?) restaurant and itâs clear that the ingredients are really fresh, and that their chef really know what theyâre doing. We got so many compliments on both how amazing the food and drinks were, as well as how beautiful the location was. We really couldnât be happier!

We knew we wanted to get married at Blooming Hill Farm before we were even engaged. This place enchanted us from the first moment we walked onto the property. There is a charming restaurant area and a beautiful barn/farmers market space. We ultimately had our ceremony there due to the rain and it was so cozy and beautiful. But I really think Blooming Hill would not be what it is without the amazing staff. Caitlin was our main contact through the process and she is truly a gem. She is kind and extremely realistic and honest about everything which is so important when planning a wedding. She was so prompt with email and set up phone calls whenever needed. We had to make some last minute changes due to the weather (so much rain!) and Caitlin helped us through that whole process with ease. The bartenders and the serving staff were also so great. They were prompt to help us with every little thing. The reception was held under a beautiful tent with bistro lighting. Our wedding day ended up being a bit chilly and rainy but we were able to get heaters under the tent which kept it a very comfortable temperature. If we could get married here again weâd do it in a heartbeat! We highly recommend Blooming Hill Farm without hesitation.

The farm itself is simply stunning, filled with beautiful flowers, trees, potted plants, twinkling bistro lights, charming antique decor, growing fruits and vegetables, a running stream, fields, stars at night, and mountains in the backdrop. If you wanted to, you could skip the florals and extra decor and it would still be stunning as-is. It's rustic but somehow classy/refined, if that's even possible. And the food is insanely, insanely fresh and good. But even more incredible is the way Blooming Hill Farm feels. It's the bartenders and waitstaff, who are so warm and kind and literally treat your family like their own. It's Caitlin, the Wedding Coordinator, who is so on top of everything at all times that your day will run more smoothly than you ever could have imagined. She is INCREDIBLY talented and we cannot thank her enough. On our wedding night, a guest said to me, \"this place feels magical.\" I can't overstate that enoughâBlooming Hill Farm is a little pocket of true magic in the Hudson Valley where you and your family and friends will have the best night of your lives. We have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about Blooming Hill Farm.The venue is breath-taking. You have your pick of different âlocationsâ for the different parts of your day. For our recent wedding, we were married at the ceremony area in the back of the fields by the big tree, had our cocktail hour in a beautiful old barn and its backyard, and rented a tent in the field for the reception and dancing. We opted for an all-outdoor celebration, but the restaurant area (with its bathrooms) are also included. All the spaces are picturesque and the mountains provide a wonderful backdrop for your day. (Seriously, there are photo ops EVERYWHERE.) There is also a fire pit out in the field and the backyard of the barn, which the staff manage for you, and sâmores are provided!The food is excellent. Everything is farm to table, and deciding which dishes to omit after our tasting was a real challenge. As for the drinks, Justin and Kevin are awesome bartenders and many of our guests told us about the great conversations they had with them. We had the Celery Gin and Tonic and the Spring Wash specialty cocktails, and they were big hits with all of our guests.Caitlin, the Event Planner at BHF, is fantastic. She helped us with decor items, putting a timeline together, keeping the event safe and compliant under the ever-changing pandemic rules, and so much more. She was very flexible and let us drop things off at odd hours and managed big items like coordinating with the tent company. She also did the cutest hand-written chalkboard signs for our wedding!In addition to all of the above, they also include so many items you would normally need to procure yourself - tables, chairs, linens/runners, dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc. The prices are so reasonable for everything you're getting.Honestly, book your wedding here before their calendar is filled. We can't say enough about how wonderful BHF is! In every way. It is a truly beautiful location, the staff are wonderful and easy to work with, the food is fabulous. It was the perfect spot for our wedding day. We really appreciated the natural beauty and low key energy of the farm and the team there. Kevin was absolutely lovely to work with. He and the rest of the staff were helpful and flexible. Our guests raved about the experience and were especially impressed with the food. It was so nice to avoid the stereotypical drama of planning a wedding. And Nadine did an amazing job with the flowers! Of course it was stressful but working with BHF allowed us to maintain a sense of calm and ease in the process and kept the tone of our wedding exactly as we wanted it to be- relaxed, elegant and intimate.

We could not be happier with our experience at Blooming Hill Farm! Upon getting engaged, I was super overwhelmed by all of the options when looking for a venue. My vision had always been a fall wedding upstate but it couldn't be too far away from the city and it needed to have just the right rustic feel and most importantly have incredible food. BHF delivered on everything and more! I researched over 50 venues and kept coming back to BHF (one of the reasons being they're one of the few venues that had all of the pricing readily available on their site). Caitlin is a true professional- super communicative and on top of everything without overwhelming us. We booked our tour in the dead of winter in January and really had to use our imagination to envision what it would look like in October. We didn't need much convincing and by the time we walked off the farm I was tearing up because I knew we had found our venue- and it was the very first one we looked at. Caitlin was always responsive to all of my stupid little questions and always super helpful. The week of the event, I went into it feeling way calmer than any bride could ever expect and the day of could not have been more perfect. Besides having an absolute blast, almost all of the guests approached us or said afterwards how incredible the food was (my husband is a chef so I can't stress how important that was!)We also used the farm's florist who was fantastic- super easy to work with, not pushy at all, and reasonably priced. If your vision is a gorgeous outdoor venue with incredible food and an incredible staff, look no further- you won't be disappointed!

Blooming Hill Farm is truly a dream! We couldn't have hoped for a more perfect wedding venue. From the second we first arrived at the farm, it was clear to us that this place was beyond special. The farm is a working farm, with organic farm to table food, that was truly a highlight of the event --- all of our guests kept mentioning that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Caitlin, Kevin, and Austin were truly wonderful every step of the way -- thorough, relaxed, always pleasant and responsive. The farm itself is organic and beautiful, with countless included details that made the day so special, including barns, countless plants, vintage trucks, wheel barrows that just exist as part of the background of the wedding! Blooming Hill was exactly what we were hoping for in a wedding venue. Despite the 100 degree weather (not their fault!), the entire wedding was perfect! The staff, especially Austin and Kevin, were incredibly helpful and flexible, responding to all of our emails and calls, of which there were a ton! The food and drinks were amazing -- so many of our guests were blown away by them. They even went out of their way to make custom dishes for us for my wife's Sri Lankan and Thai background. The venue itself is gorgeous and well laid out, if maybe a little under-equipped (no changing rooms, tents or air conditioning), but this is something we were prepared for and it never got in the way. We 100% would get married there again!

Working with Blooming Hill Farm was an incredible experience. They were the first vendor we booked, and one of the best choices we made. Austin and Kevin were so pleasant to work with - they are both very laid back but also have everything control at the same time. We loved them so much, we ended up doing as much as we could through Blooming Hill:-The ceremony, cocktail, and party spaces - such a gorgeous setting! We loved the variety of spaces we were able to utilize, and it made our wedding feel unique-Food and drink - so many people told me it was the best food they've EVER had at a wedding, and we 100% agree. The quality was incredible, and the amount of food you get for the price of the package is awesome (we did buffet style, which worked really well for our wedding). We created our own signature cocktails and the process of working with their beverage manager, Justin, was seamless. -The flowers - Nadine and I had a great discussion about what I was envisioning and she put together perfect bouquets, boutonnieres, arrangements, and flowers to decorate the Blooming Hill-provided arbor-Desserts - they made us custom mini pies (we had a wedding pie rather than cake), and they knocked it out of the park! The pies were so delicious and everyone enjoyed having their ownAustin and Kevin went above and beyond to help us out in any way they could, whether it was coordinating with other vendors or going out of their way to find us an arbor they had used at a previous wedding that they knew was still on the property. I can't say enough about the high quality of our experience with Blooming Hill Farm!

Working with Blooming Hill Farm was an incredible experience. They were the first vendor we booked, and one of the best choices we made. Austin and Kevin were so pleasant to work with - they are both very laid back but also have everything control at the same time. We loved them so much, we ended up doing as much as we could through Blooming Hill:-The ceremony, cocktail, and party spaces - such a gorgeous setting! We loved the variety of spaces we were able to utilize, and it made our wedding feel unique-Food and drink - so many people told me it was the best food they've EVER had at a wedding, and we 100% agree. The quality was incredible, and the amount of food you get for the price of the package is awesome (we did buffet style, which worked really well for our wedding). We created our own signature cocktails and the process of working with their beverage manager, Justin, was seamless. -The flowers - Nadine and I had a great discussion about what I was envisioning and she put together perfect bouquets, boutonnieres, arrangements, and flowers to decorate the Blooming Hill-provided arbor-Desserts - they made us custom mini pies (we had a wedding pie rather than cake), and they knocked it out of the park! The pies were so delicious and everyone enjoyed having their ownAustin and Kevin went above and beyond to help us out in any way they could, whether it was coordinating with other vendors or going out of their way to find us an arbor they had used at a previous wedding that they knew was still on the property. I can't say enough about the high quality of our experience with Blooming Hill Farm!

We had our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm this past October and can't say enough great things about this place. It exceeded all of our expectations. The venue is stunning (the staff really do an amazing job making this place feel magical), the food was delicious, and the staff are outstanding. We love BHF so much that we go eat at the cafe whenver we're in the area. BHF has a special place in our hearts. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!

We had our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm this past October and can't say enough great things about this place. It exceeded all of our expectations. The venue is stunning (the staff really do an amazing job making this place feel magical), the food was delicious, and the staff are outstanding. We love BHF so much that we go eat at the cafe whenver we're in the area. BHF has a special place in our hearts. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!

We had our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm and the venue is pure magic. Where to even begin...THE VENUE - the farm is quaint, sprinkled with charming antique trucks and barns, and has a stream running through it. The venue has distinct areas that create a unique flow for the event - the wedding ceremony was held in an open field anchored by a large tree, the cocktail hour was held in an old barn and adjacent garden, while the reception took place in a large tent in a field surrounded by greenery. A bonfire capped off the night. If you donât want to be plugged into someone elseâs wedding template, this is your venue.THE FOOD - Our guests continue to rave about the food. It is all farm-to-table and absolutely delicious. Stop by for brunch to try it.THE STAFF - Austin was our main point of contact throughout the planning process and he is extremely helpful, patient, and accommodating. He made a typically stressful process so easy. Nadine at the farm did a great job with our wedding flowers. All of the other day-of staff were wonderful.I would give Blooming Hill Farm so many more stars if I could!

tl;dr If youâre looking for a farm-style wedding, get prepared for comments afterwards like âlooks like a fairy tale,â âthat was magicalâ, and âcan we do it again?â because thatâs what we got after our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm. My now-wife and I decided early on we wanted something outdoors and organized our search around venues that could provide that. Blooming Hill was actually the first place we looked at, but we like to explore our options and continued to search. Ultimately, we kept coming back to this Blooming Hill in our minds and decided to pull the trigger. The venue itself is a working farm which we loved. All of the food comes from the same grounds where the ceremony and reception occurred. Austin, the venue manager, was a gentleman and a scholar in helping to make our event a helluva success. Heâs super responsive, his recommendations were always on point, and heâs just an all-around good guy. We booked the spot in October for the following September as their schedule fills up quickly. We did our tasting in February and it was just spectacular. The food, oh sweet baby Jesus, the food was amazing. Just a heads up, having pizza during the cocktail hour is in your contract. Donât fight it, just eat the pizza. Our wedding occurred on September 2nd, 2017, and the farm was full in full bloom. Greens carpeted the landscape, birds chirped in the air, and mother nature mostly cooperated. The staff were attentive, helpful, and laid back in regards to the help/requests we made of them. From coordinating with different vendors, to allowing proper set up time, and making sure the day ran as smooth as a greased up hog, Austin and his team were phenomenal. I honestly canât think of a single negative thing to say about our experience with the Blooming Hill Farm team. Maybe develop superpowers and control the weather? Hell, I donât know. But from the stories Iâve heard from other couples working with other venues, we really lucked out going here. Lastly, I just want to say thanks again to Austin and his crew. It was one of the best parties Iâve ever been to that just happened to be inconvenienced by a ceremony. PS - Again, the food is effinâ ridiculously good. Lord Almighty.

Blooming Hill is an incredible place, I donât really even know where to start for this review. Weâve been to BH for the weekend markets (great selection of heirloom veggies!), brunches, farm dinners, and finally our wedding. We initially chose BH for the delicious food, but they surpassed our expectations in every aspect as a venue. The whole place is gorgeous with a sense of rustic charm and lush growth coming from every direction. Every time we visit it seems like BH has added something new and special, always blending with the overall decor but making the farm that much better.For the wedding, Austin and the team put on an incredible event; they really came through in every possible way and were courteous, professional, and generous with their time and assistance. Austin was attentive and responsive throughout the wedding planning process, he gave great recommendations on everything from vendors to our menu and really made sure the experience went off without a hitch. He even built extra posts so we could string lights over our dancefloor!The food is always the highlight of our visits, and our guests were blown away by the menu BH put together. Their woodfired pizzas are incredible, and the guests were always crowding to get the delicious and freshly made passed hors dâoeuvres. The team at BH adapted some of their recipes to accommodate for our vegan guests and made sure everyone was extremely well fed.Overall, I can't speak highly enough about BH, they really believe in their mission and make sure they do whatever they can to give every guest an incredible experience.
