We just had our wedding at Bloomingdale Golf Club and it was everything we imagined it to be. Awilda and Karen were a HUGE help in keeping my stress levels down and making the venue look beautiful for our day. I can't recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough about Karen and Awilda at Bloomingdale. In my career, I plan events for affluent clients so I had a very high expectation of what the experience should be. From the first meeting, I knew Karen and Awilda were the people for the job. They were always quick to reply and I knew at all times they had everything covered without me having to double check. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food and service at Bloomingdale. They absolutely loved and took advantage of the veranda all night. If I had to do it over again I would 100% every time go back to Bloomingdale. We had our ceremony there as well and it was very accessible for my mil. There was an elevator down to the ground floor and they even drove her to her seat in a cart. The bar was set high and the staff at Bloomingdale cleared it by leaps and bounds.

Everything about this venue was perfect! Beautiful area, beautiful grounds, and the staff is AMAZING! And the FOOD! Catering with Elegance was the best. All of our guests said it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding! Everyone had only great things to say and everything was delicious. Melissa was so organized and made the whole process so smooth! They set up our decorations for us and packed it up for us that night for us to just pick up in the morning! Can’t even begin to express how grateful we are to come across Bloomingdale Golf Club! Both Karen and Melissa are so friendly and accommodating and were always there for us answering all of our questions. Our wedding day was wonderful and it’s all thanks to them!

The Blooomingdale Golf Club was everything and more for our wedding, if you are looking for a space that gives both outdoors and indoor options this is the place for you! From the beautiful venue to the people that work there that allowed our dreams to come true it was all amazing. We live out of state so choosing a venue from afar can be really hard, they were super accommodating and were able to squeeze us in when we were in town for meetings and seeing the space. We worked closely with Melissa as we prepped for the wedding and we can't give enough thanks to her (she was amazing!). The food was also amazing as they have their own catering right in house and it made planning that much easier. If we could we would relive that day again!

Karen has been hosting weddings at Bloomingdale for many years and she had great advice for us. Awilda was a gem, answering any email I had within minutes. I would send an email so I wouldn't forget, not expecting her to answer right away, but she would come back almost immediately with a response. All night long and even after, guests told us how incredible the food was. We had filet mignon as one of the options and we had so many people tell us it was the best steak they had ever had at a wedding! To us, food was very important and we wanted our guests to enjoy their meal. They definitely did! If food is important to you as a couple, make sure to consider Bloomingdale Golf Club. We would also like to compliment how professional and on top of things the staff were. No matter what our guests threw their way, they were ready and willing to help and we could not be more grateful. I had a vision of what we wanted for our big day and they made it come true. They truly are a full service venue and know their stuff. They are fair priced and tell you like it is. I had a vision of what we wanted for our big day and they made it come true. They truly are a full service venue and know their stuff. They are fair priced and tell you like it is. We were so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. Some of the things that sold us: The venue is beautiful and only hosts one event at a time - so you're not sharing entrances or bathrooms with another wedding. They also offer a private wedding party suite to stash away anything important, plus it has a large enough bathroom stall that just about any bridal gown will fit into.The banquet room has tall vaulted ceilings and large windows that provide a gorgeous view of the golf course. The room is also big enough to comfortably fit up to 200 guests, without encroaching on the dance floor. Their outdoor wrap-around veranda is amazing. The staff was so accommodating in our requests to set up several outdoor activities on the veranda which ended up being were so many guests found themselves throughout the evening. To this day, several of our guests still rave about how much they loved that veranda! Speaking of the staff, this was our main reason for choosing BCG and Catering with Excellence. During our initial meeting with Karen, she spoke so fondly of the kitchen and event crew, many of whom have been working with them for 10+ years. As fellow service industry members, we appreciated how she valued her team and kept them on through the struggles of the pandemic. That experience shone through as they orchestrated our wedding to perfection. Melissa was our primary contact and she was a delight to work with leading up to the big day. She was organized and insightful while never being pushy in presenting us with our options. She provided us with several logistics sheets that ensured we thought through all the necessary details and could communicate our decisions with the team. She was so so accommodating in accepting all of our personalized décor items + notes ahead of time. The staff absolutely nailed the set up, much to this overthinking bride's relief.The food was great! They poured awesome drinks! We had an absolute blast and we can't thank Karen, Melissa, and the entire staff enough for their role in making this such a memorable day.

Selecting Bloomingdale Golf Club for our ceremony site and reception venue was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! Melissa was very responsive and did everything she possibly could to eliminate any stress from wedding planning that I had. I was a very detail oriented bride (emailing Melissa all kinds of random questions) and at times indecisive (changed my mind on the food and add-ons like 100 times), so I cannot thank Karen, Melissa, and the Bloomingdale Golf Club team for their patience and kindness every step of the way! All of our guests truly said that the food (the steaks were huge and cooked to perfection!) was absolutely incredible and the best meal they've had at a wedding by far and I absolutely agree! I seriously cannot rave more about the food and drink package because you truly get the best value for your money. The overall set up of the venue and ceremony space was immaculate - none of our vendors had a single issue setting up and our guests loved the outdoor space during the reception. The pictures on the course turned out BEAUTIFUL and we loved that a member of the BGC team drove our bridal party and us around the golf course for pictures. The BGC team did all the set up and tear down of all of our décor and treated the items with great care. It was very evident that they truly cared about making our wedding day special and I KNOW they will do the same for you! We found this place because it's walking distance to us, so we wanted convivence, but this place ended up being the venue of our dreams! Everything was so professional, the whole staff made us feel welcomed and helped us with anything we needed. Karen was there every step of the way to help me with all my needs day of. She calmed me down and helped me get through it all! I can't stress enough how much love I have for all of them. My guest still talk about the food, venue, and staff. I wish I could say more, but just know this is the place to go if you want peace of mind for your wedding.

After leaving our first choice venue, my fiancé and I were scrambling to find a new venue 4 months out. I inquired right away with Bloomingdale Golf Club and just our luck they had our October 8th date available. We booked with them right away and without hesitation, Karen and her amazing team, Melissa and Awilda, took us under their wing and ensured we would be taken care of. I was still reeling with dealing with our last venue so this brought so much relief. Their tasting was superb to figuring out the setup of the room and our theme, I can't even begin to describe how spectacular they were. The day of our wedding was perfect! From the decorations to communicating with our vendors, BGC knew exactly what to do. I had this vision of what I wanted my wedding day to be and they NAILED IT. NAILED IT! Oh, btw, our guests could not stop raving about the food especially their steak. I still replay the day over and over again.Karen, Melissa, and Awilda, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of this anxious bride. I was so worried that things wouldn't go as planned but, WOW, the day was exactly what I pictured and so much more. If I had to rate you on a scale of 1-10, I'd give this team and venue 1 million stars. It really was a day to remember and I am always going to remember your amazing hospitality and care. I cannot recommend this venue enough! I even attended a bridal shower here a few months before my wedding and even that event was outstanding! We had about 10 months to plan so I jumped on the venues right away. I started reaching out everywhere since so many places were booked for our date already. Karen’s response to my Knot email was prompt and we were able to meet her that week. After meeting Karen in person it was an easy decision to choose Bloomingdale for our wedding. She did so much research to make the venue so appealing and they delivered. She was willing to help us in any way possible to make our day special for us. Melissa also made everything flawless as well. I loved working with both of them the entire process. The food here is delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the outdoor veranda was perfect, and the staff was amazing. Of course there were some hiccups during the day, which happen. So I’d recommend getting yourself a day of wedding coordinator to help navigate life so you don’t have to as the bride or groom (or the DJ! Who was amazing for jumping in for us when he saw we were stressed!)…but none of that was Bloomingdale’s fault. They were super supportive during the whole process. Aside from that I truly have to say, if you decide on this venue, you won’t be disappointed. All of our guests loved the experience! All the reviews we read before booking were honest and I’m so glad we chose Bloomingdale for our wedding. Other venues didn’t have the personal feel that Karen had during our initial visit. The team here truly made this an experience we will never forget. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy as a guest in the future!

My husband and I got married this year and we are so happy with Bloomingdale Golf Club. Everything turned out perfect and Karen was so wonderful to work with. We originally had w erythinf planned for a 2020 wedding but had to push it multiple times due to the pandemic. Karen was so understanding and wonderful to work with during all the changes. The food was sooo delicious as well. As a bride, you usually only take a bite or two but I just about finished meal because it was so good. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to make their wedding extra special!

We originally had w erythinf planned for a 2020 wedding but had to push it multiple times due to the pandemic. Karen was so understanding and wonderful to work with during all the changes. The food was sooo delicious as well. As a bride, you usually only take a bite or two but I just about finished meal because it was so good. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to make their wedding extra special!

Easiest decision we made (besides the I do's) having our rescheduled detitanation wedding at Bloomingdale Golf Club !! Karen, Melissa and the entire staff where so amazing the entire process. They where very detail oriented and we didn't have to worry about a thing during the planning processes and the day of. Fast forward to May 2022, our wedding day went off without any issues. We left them to set up the decorating fully in their hands and the venue was BEAUTIFUL. The food was amazing! We did the duet filet/chicken marsala and everyone said how perfect their food was cooked and tasted! We even had a guest request to have their steak cooked more once they get it (like it well done) and BGC did it for them without hesitation! The guest loved the option to be outside and have plenty of space to be inside. And of course, the drinks where poured to perfection! Would recommend anyone to get married here, you won't regret trucking BGC on your special day!

What stood out to us and one of the main reasons we selected BGC as our wedding venue was our experience with Karen H. Karen was so dedicated to our happiness, and generous with her time we cannot thank her enough for all of her help. Karen was so kind to meet or have phone calls with us during evenings to review colors and answer any questions we had, and we never felt rushed, in fact she always made sure to listen to our thoughts, answer all of our questions and it was evident that she was personally invested in brining our vision to life . We worked with Karen for over 18 months since we postponed one year due to covid, and she was always very responsive, easy to work with, cheerful, and focused on our happiness. From the very first meeting with Karen we had a good feeling about HER. She has a great positive energy and both my wife and I felt like she genuinely cared about us, making our wedding day special, and she delivered the entire way! She is genuinely kind and truly wanted to make our day special. Thank you Karen, for everything!! It was a true pleasure working with you!The venue space is roomy and flexible and over 180 degrees of the main reception room has huge windows to showcase panoramic views of the beautiful golf course. We had a Fall wedding and it was near perfect weather. Many great photo locations. The first time we visited BGC was back in Jan/Feb 2019 when we were interviewing venues for our reception. Karen was showing us around and we entered the main reception hall and it was snowing. Again, this room has 180 degree views, essentially a 200 foot long wall of glass overlooking the golf course. It was dark outside but I could see clearly the biggest snowflakes falling steadily through the two story tall panoramic windows in the center of the main room. As we stood together and watched the falling snow, the scene was immersive and beautiful because of all the windows, it is hard to describe the feeling but it felt truly special and I was grateful. In that moment, I knew we had found our venue.I would highly recommend BGC to host your special day. The team was so accommodating with vendors and decorations, and everyone was so kind and happy to help. Go see the venue and talk with Karen or Lisa, you will be glad you did.Cheers, and best wishes!

We had a wonderful wedding thanks to Bloomingdale Golf Club (BGC). All of our wedding planning happened pre-pandemic, and every step of the way BGC was amazing to work with, But I really want to talk about how wonderful they were to us during the pandemic. Our original wedding date was in March 2020, and less than a week before our day, we had to cancel due to COVID restrictions. As I was freaking out about what to do and how to handle this, one of my biggest worries was how our venue would work with us. I still remember my phone call with Karen and how she was and assured me that one way or another we would figure this out. We decided to book a new date later in the year thinking everything would be back to normal by then. Well, as we all know, things did not go back to normal and we had to cancel again. My husband and I decided to get married with just our parents and grandparents in attendance. Since we could not have a big reception, I was hoping to celebrate with a private dinner somewhere but given the times, that was hard to navigate. I never thought BGC would let us go from a 200+ reception to a 12 person reception, but I contacted them to see what they thought. They were more than willing to accommodate this and worked with us to make our day as special as possible. Although not what we had initially planned, we had an amazing wedding reception at BGC and the perfect wedding day. As we went through all the postponing, rescheduling, canceling, etc. so many people asked me, \"what about the venue, how have they been\" and my response was always, \"they have been amazing.\" With so much going on it was such a relief to have a venue that was so understanding and kind to work with. The space is beautiful and the team really goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. I don't think we ever heard the word no from them, they were always willing to accommodate everything we asked. When we first booked, we had already met with other venues and none of them made us feel the way Karen and the BGC staff did, from day one they treated us like their friends and seemed as excited as we were for our wedding. I am grateful to have had them as our venue, I truly do not think we would have had the wedding we did without their commitment to making our day as special as possible.

The absolute BEST wedding venue in the western suburbs! We looked at almost 10 other venues before making our way here, and the moment we sat down with Karen and Lisa, toured the gorgeous grounds, and learned about the amanzingly priced food and alcohol packages, we knew this was the place we want to get married! Karen and Lisa were gracious with answering all our questions leading up to the big day and always sent us reminders when a due date was approaching. On the day itself... there are no words. Karen used her impressive vision to bring our dreams come true. Because we planned to have the ceremony outside, we needed a plan B in case the weather didn't cooperate, and of course, it started to downpour 30 minutes before our ceremony. Karen immediately jumped into action and she and her team moved the ceremony inside and helped all our guests get situated and comfortable. They were very kind and accomodating with our dog, who we really wanted to have in the ceremony. We have become part of the Bloomingdale Golf Club family. We HIGHLY recommend the Bloomingdale Golf Club and if given the choice again, we could pick this venue hands down.

We looked at almost 10 other venues before making our way here, and the moment we sat down with Karen and Lisa, toured the gorgeous grounds, and learned about the amanzingly priced food and alcohol packages, we knew this was the place we want to get married! Karen and Lisa were gracious with answering all our questions leading up to the big day and always sent us reminders when a due date was approaching. On the day itself... there are no words. Karen used her impressive vision to bring our dreams come true. Because we planned to have the ceremony outside, we needed a plan B in case the weather didn't cooperate, and of course, it started to downpour 30 minutes before our ceremony. Karen immediately jumped into action and she and her team moved the ceremony inside and helped all our guests get situated and comfortable. They were very kind and accomodating with our dog, who we really wanted to have in the ceremony. We have become part of the Bloomingdale Golf Club family. We HIGHLY recommend the Bloomingdale Golf Club and if given the choice again, we could pick this venue hands down.

From the moment my fiancé (now husband) and I met with Karen Helmig at Bloomingdale Golf Club we knew in our hearts this was the wedding venue we had been searching for. We were instantly treated like family and we knew we were not another business deal to them. They were invested in our wedding just as much as we were and I felt so at ease knowing I had this wonderful team behind me because they truly wanted to make my day special. Throughout the entire planning process Karen and Lisa reached out and answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner, even when I was emailing them 3-4 times a week as the wedding got closer! I am still so appreciative of their patience and encouragement.The week of the wedding I was frantically trying to put together my decorations, name cards, guestbook, etc. to drop off for setup and I was driving myself nuts trying to figure out where everything should be set up in the room. I dropped everything off to Karen the day before the wedding and let me tell you, everything was set up even better than I could have imagined. When my husband and I got to the venue a little before cocktail hour began, we got to walk into the room with no one else and it was absolutely stunning. The natural light from the windows, the tables and tablecloths, everything far exceeded my expectations. Karen and Lisa made sure everything was in order and the night only got better from there. The food was served timely and to this day (over a month later) people are still talking about how good the food was. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole night. We also got many great pictures outside on the grounds as they were beautiful and well kept. After the wedding BGC packed up all of our decoration and had them neatly placed on a cart the next day for us to pickup which was so helpful since we were on a time crunch. I could go on and on, but I am so thankful we went with BGC. We were able to stay within our budget and throw one heck of a wedding without feeling like we were skimping on anything. Thank you, Lisa and Karen, for helping to make it the best day of our lives!

If you were looking for a venue that will truly help to personalize your wedding and not nickel and dime you for every accommodation then I would strongly consider Bloomingdale. We couldn’t say enough about how glad we both are about our decision to have our wedding at Bloomingdale.

Working with Karen Helmig and her staff was so easy and she worked with us on setting up a private tasting because we were from out of state. She saw that everything met our wishes and was very upfront on cost and accommodations. The catering company that the Bloomingdale Golf Club has is outstanding, great food and service. The venue is beautiful and has a wonderful picturesque indoor room if you have an indoor wedding like we did due to inclement weather. While taking first look pictures my button on my tux had come off and Karen sewed it back on in plenty of time for the ceremony. Just an overall great venue with great service and friendly staff. Do not overlook the Bloomingdale Golf Club, it is a great place to have your perfect wedding.

We had a wonderful experience at Bloomingdale! We planned from out of town, and Karen made the planning a breeze for us. Karen even made sure our pictures turned out well by adjusting little details around us. Pick up of everything the day after was a breeze - they had everything cleaned, sorted, and laid out for us to pick up. They specifically cleaned and took good care of our champagne flutes and cake knives and made sure to return them to us that same night. The venue was beautiful, we loved the high ceilings and all the natural light as well as the view of the golf course. Our pictures from around the golf course came out nicely, and they lent us a golf cart to get around. The main entrees were average, however, we chose the less expensive options. The appetizers, soup, and sweets table were exceptional. We also used the fruit and cheese platters as a late night snack which worked well. They were beautifully presented, which were more than expected. Overall, we highly recommend this venue, Karen, and her staff!

Karen is a wonderful coordinator at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. From the first day we met her, she handled the details, answered all our questions, explained the different options, and we went into our wedding day feeling very close to her. The Bloomingdale Golf Club is a great wedding venue to have--the room is very large with huge ceiling and great windows to show off the wonderful scenery. Even though it was pretty chilly on my wedding day, people still enjoyed sitting outside on the veranda with the wonderful string lights outside and watch the storm come over. The food was great--I recommend the Prime Rib and Tortellini options! It really felt like Bloomingdale Golf Club made our wedding very personal to us--even though we picked a lot of more standard options, we were able to jazz it up to our style by having a signature drink and having our own flair on the guest book, seating cards, and a few little decorations. Take advantage of the Friday discount if you can! The ONLY flaw was that the cake was not cut as early as I thought it was going to, and I wanted the dancing to get started, especially as my photographer was not staying late--so we decided to jump into our first dance before the cake was served. Overall, we are SO thrilled with our big day. Still waiting to see our pics--can't wait as the scenery was simply beautiful.

I cannot thank Karen Helmig and her team at Bloomingdale Golf Club for helping us bring to life our ideas for our reception! The guest loved their food - appetizers and dinner and all - and the taco bar was AMAZING!!! Our room looked phenomenal and everything was just perfect! From the moment we checked out the venue, my mom and my fiancé (now husband) and I felt so at ease speaking to Karen and her husband Jeff - they answered our questions and went above and beyond in terms of customer service! Karen was very supportive of my picky creative vision and she just gets me and understood what I was going for :) Karen helped me track down the perfect color for linens (which we learned I picked a complicated color to match lol) and gave suggestions per my vision (really glad I got the chairs bc the room looked so amazing and I got a lot of compliments on how the whole reception looked and went). They set up my room so well with all my details I wanted including the set up of the seating shells! Everyone was so helpful! Lisa also helped answer all random and piecemeal questions I have so quickly that I was able to make decisions on the fly! Karen made sure that hand off was a breeze and made me feel so comfortable to trust her with all the details so I am relaxed going into the big day! During pictures, Jeff made sure that the groom and I were well taken care of from leading the photographers, helping with the dress as I get on the carts to making sure we were warm - so accommodating and thoughtful of us since it was cold out and my husband’s leg was bothering him during pictures. He was a trooper staying out with us and braving the cold through out the photo shoot. They are all so amazing to work with and would recommend their team to anyone a hundred times over! Everything was beautiful and perfect! Karen and Jeff had everything under control and there was not a worry in the world for us on that day. Everything was beautiful and perfect! Karen and Jeff had everything under control and there was not a worry in the world for us on that day. The venue was amazing, the staff was great, and the food was spectacular. Leading up to the event Karen was very approachable and answered any questions we had and helped with any concerns. She played a big hand in helping our day turn out wonderful!!

We couldn't be happier with our venue choice. The ceremony set up was beautiful and when we walked into the room for the reception we were floored but how nicely set up it was. Karen and Jeff were beyond professional and during both our initial meeting and our detail meeting Karen made sure she understood exactly what my fiance and I were looking for and expecting for our big day. The biggest compliment we received from our guests beside the overall ambiance of the place was how great the food tasted. They truly made our day special.

Bloomingdale Golf Club gave us a beautiful wedding day! Karen and Lisa were both extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and helped us so much. They were quick to respond to all emails/phone calls and helped us make special dietary accommodations for family members that needed gluten-free meals. (such a huge relief!) I trusted them completely to help coordinate with the florist, DJ and for all decorations for day-of plans. I also love the bakery they partner with (Central Continental Bakery) Our wedding cake was so delicious. The venue is beautiful, reasonably priced, and creates a gorgeous wedding atmosphere.

Bloomingdale Golf Club gave us a beautiful wedding day! Karen and Lisa were both extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and helped us so much. Initial meeting went really well, but when we sat down to meet 3 months before my big day LOTS of things changed from what I was initially told. Was told by Karen from the beginning that the whole day was mine and she knew from Day 1 that I was planning on having my ceremony there as well as my reception, only to find out that 3 months before my big day that there was a golf outing scheduled on my wedding day ( I signed my contract 1.5 years prior to this) and that \"I could have my ceremony there, but it would be inconvenience to the golfers twice... once for the ceremony and then again for pictures.\" Was so upset I almost changed my ENTIRE venue, to not have to deal with being told one thing and then the next time something different. Karen was hard to get a hold of, even made an appointment to make my final payment and she didn't up. Had to pay her husband Jeff, who was extremely delightful. Lisa was very thoughtful when it came to the execution. If I would have known what craziness I would have been dealing with, with Karen, I would NOT have gone with Bloomingdale Golf Club. Overall, the night did run smoothly, but after my 3 months to the day meeting, I made my husband deal with Karen because I was to the point of tears if something else changed because I felt like all she wanted to do was change and dictate things.

My now husband and I just had our wedding reception there on Saturday 10/14. It was absolutely amazing. Many guests complimented the food and the service. It was top notch. Karen and Lisa I dealt with the most during the planning process and they were always there to answer questions and help me through it. The day of my wedding I was blown away with how beautiful the room was set up. They did such a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. Genuinely nice people and very helpful. I loved my experience with them!

This venue has a beautiful room with a huge arched window looking out onto beautiful landscaping and pond. There are plenty of evergreens during the Fall/Winter seasons, so it always looks beautiful. The staff is very accommodating. Our requests were met, or alternative solutions suggested. Here there is a warm, family feel, as it is family run. The personal touch was evident from the moment we walked in the door and we booked the hall that same day. There aren't very many places like this, especially if you want an affordable venue that doesn't allow more than one wedding per date. Much of the personal feeling emanates from Karen Helmig who coordinates events for BGC. We highly recommend.

Hands down the best family owned business. Karen helped me with every single detail and let us include our polish traditions. She very accommodating and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. all of my guests loved the venue and how private it felt. everything was perfect from the first meeting with Karen to the wedding day. she helped me plan every step of the way. We were able to take our wedding photos on the golf course and had staff available to help us get to the photo location. Karen and her husband were there on the night of wedding helping with everything. I will definitely recommend this to everyone!!

It was an amazing wedding and we enjoyed every minute of it! It was the first place we looked at, and we couldn't find better and neither will you!

The room is perfect, with large windows overlooking the golf course and a huge patio that wraps the building! Everything about our wedding day was perfect and Bloomingdale made it happen. There's a big difference between a wedding venue that pretends to care and one that really does. Karen and Jeff and their wonderful staff genuinely care about every aspect and it shows. You will not get better or more personal service anywhere. The setting is superb with a huge wraparound deck with views of the golf course. The food was another reason we booked here, it's award-winning and everyone raved about it. The steak was outstanding. Having our wedding at Bloomingdale Golf Club was the best wedding decision we had made. They treat all of their guests like family, and the scenery is stunning. Planning with the Helmig family is such a joy and very easy going. The night of the wedding went very smoothly and everyone had a blast. I would 100% use this venue again.

My husband John and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding!!! We worked closely with Karen to make our vision a reality! She had many samples and ideas to share to help us create the perfect day! The wait staff was wonderful too! They served our delicious dinner with white gloves and they didn't use those cheap looking plate covers. The cake was included with the venue and it was excellent. They recommended other vendors we could work with which was great! Our DJ was someone we selected on our own and even he said he loved working with Bloomingdale Golf Club! We had appetizers, a chocolate fountain and chair covers. We also showed a slide show that we created and they were more than happy to set up and take down the projector and screen! For photos we got to take the golf carts around the golf course, which was tons of fun! The pictures turned out great too! We can't thank Bloomingdale Golf Club enough! Our vision was brought to life thanks to Karen and her amazing team!

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding. Karen and her team truly felt like family afterward and definitely treated us as so. They decorated our room better than we could have ever imagined, answered every question big or small and we so helpful. We had guests compliment us on the view, food, atmosphere for weeks after our wedding. If we had to chose again, we would chose BCG ten times over. We have amazing pictures with our bridal party on the golf course and they even let our dog stop by for a couple pictures! Karen and her husband opened the doors to introduce us to our wedding and it was such a special moment I hold onto. They helped make our big day so perfect in many ways.

The enitre staff was very professional and helpful everytime we went for meetings or to check out things. Karen was more than we could've asked for. She was able to work around my night shift schedule, work with family members, and always tried to save us as much money as possible. The course it self is gorgeous and we loved that we were able to go around it and take pictures with the wedding party. We loved that we had access to the veranda the entire night as well just to get some fresh air. The food is fantastic! We have had all of our family members say that it was their favorite wedding meal they've ever had. Karen and the entire staff are so supportive and accomodating. She worked with the vendors and sorted out issues without needing our input. The only other place that I have seen customer service at this level is Disney! They make you feel like a part of a family at Bloomingdale Golf Club.

Thank you so much to Karen and her team for giving my husband and I the wedding of our dreams! After looking at several venues, Bloomingdale Golf Club was the obvious choice and we could not be more pleased with how our wedding turned out. I worked with Karen for about 14 months leading up the wedding. I had tons of questions and she would always get back to me in a quick and timely matter. She was so incredibly helpful! We had both our ceremony and reception on site. The week of the wedding the weather turned for the worst, and it rained horribly a few days leading up to our wedding. Karen gave me all the pros and cons, was extremely supportive with whichever direction I wanted to choose. The day before the wedding I called Karen frantically asking if there was any way she could get us a tent so I could still have my outdoor wedding and she was able to get it for us! It was a good thing too, because the rain did not let up. The food was incredible, the room looked so stunning and elegant, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. We had so many family members and friends tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you!! Kristin & Travis Naber

We looked at 10 venues before finding Bloomingdale Golf Club. The venue was exactly what we were looking for a large open space, the beautiful chandlers, and high windows looking out over the pond. After a few minutes of talking with Karen and Jeff, they sealed the deal with us! I could not ask for a better duo to coordinate our wedding. They made us both feel right at home, answered all of our questions and treated us like family. They set up all of our decorations and took the lead on making the venue look beautiful for us. Their staff always came by my husband and I, took great care of us. We got married on the hottest day of the year in July and it was about to rain before the ceremony. Karen and Jeff watched the weather the night before and all day to make sure we were ok and had the ceremony we wanted.I highly recommend Bloomingdale Golf Club for your wedding or any event. They really took care of us and I thought that was important while planning the largest event of our live. The only bad thing is now its over and we don't get to see Karen or Jeff anymore. Thank you so much for a wonderful night!

This is a great venue with a beautiful room and outdoor area. Karen and her staff were absolutely amazing to work with. She guided us through every detail and made sure everything was perfect. At the end of the reception, Karen told us to just enjoy the rest of the night and that we could come back the next day to pick up all our things. When we returned the next morning she already had everything boxed up for us and ready to go. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough!

This is a great venue with a beautiful room and outdoor area. Karen and her staff were absolutely amazing to work with. She guided us through every detail and made sure everything was perfect. At the end of the reception, Karen told us to just enjoy the rest of the night and that we could come back the next day to pick up all our things. When we returned the next morning she already had everything boxed up for us and ready to go. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough!

CEREMONY AND RECEPTIONMy husband and I were recently married at Bloomingdale Golf Club in June 2016. We could not have had a more perfect day! We looked at 16 venues before finding Bloomingdale. I immediately knew this was the place I was looking for as soon as I walked in. The ceremony site and inside venue is a combination you will not find anywhere else. It is absolutely gorgeous outside with beautiful greenery and flowers. The arch is also included with the venue and you do not have to pay additional fees. The outside veranda was great for cocktail hour. There are hooks all around the veranda so you can hang anything to complement your decorations from there. The venue inside is just superb. All the décor on the inside are neutral colors. The center of the room has a very high ceiling and there are floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the room. The outside veranda can be accessed from either end of the room allowing easy access to the outside bar for cocktail hour. The veranda faces the golf course with a pond and fountain. It is the perfect scenery especially if you choose to have your ceremony outside. The head table overlooks the golf course. Karen and Jeff are absolutely fantastic! They make you feel like family and right at home. They will accommodate you in in any way that you need. Karen immediately replies to any phone calls or emails. She will give you her honest opinion on wedding tips and is looking out for your best interest. We brought in our own decorations and Karen and Jeff had the decorations looking absolutely beautiful. It really was a spectacular day that couldn't have been done without the two of them. Karen also assisted on the day of the wedding and was the perfect wedding planner included with the venue. She lined up the bridal party and was certain that everyone walking down the aisle was perfectly timed. The pictures from the ceremony looked like a fairy tale wedding. The outdoor cocktail hour including our signature drink was picture perfect. Karen and Jeff joined in on the fun prior to our bridal party announcements. We offered our guests the filet mignon, chicken saltimbocca and grilled salmon. All of the entrees and soup and salad were delicious. The cake was brought to the table for guests to enjoy with their coffee before they visited the sweet table a short time later. The guests are still talking about the late night hot dog cart which they all enjoyed. The view from the veranda at night was beautiful with the lights from the venue and the moon lit skies shinning on the fountain in the pond. We seriously could not have had a more perfect day! Thank you Karen, Jeff and staff for making this once in a lifetime event truly memorable.

Our wedding (both ceremony and reception) at Bloomingdale Golf Club was truly exceptional in every way. The venue itself is just gorgeous and the venue coordinator, Karen, is helpful and responsive to every question or need! She truly brought our vision to reality and was very open to our ideas. The room is beautiful as it is, but Karen works closely with you to customize anything you need, like linens, chairs, etc. so you can really make it your own. Our guests were raving about the delicious food. The wedding packages include everything (catering and bar service) which makes planning so easy. On our wedding day, we never had to answer any questions or make any decisions. If there was anything amiss, we never knew! Karen handles everything so your wedding reception will flow beautifully. We were able to bring in outside vendors for extra things, like an open air photo booth and string lights for the outdoor veranda (which is phenomenal for cocktail hour!) You are also able to take pictures with your wedding party on the grounds. There is a bridge on the golf course and beautiful trees so the pictures are gorgeous. The ceremony space was not only beautiful but convenient for our guests. There were no other golfers or carts around the ceremony space. From the minute we stepped into the door to look at this place we were thrilled! The staff is OUTSTANDING! (I am in the resturant business so this meant a lot). The room and beautiful view was perfect! And the process, in general, was smooth, comfortable and actually fun! Our reception was exactly what we were hoping it would be down to every detail and everyone was on point. The food was absolutely delicious and if there is one thing you MUST have it is the prime rib! Months later I still have guests raving about it!! You could, and I did, cut it with your fork!!We had the best time and would recommend this venue to everyone!

We loved the fact that our wedding was the only celebration happening in the building, not like a banquet hall. My husband and I wed February 2016 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. We had the most wonderful, top rated experience working with Karen and the BGC team. When we first started looking at venues and meeting different wedding coordinators, we realized picking the right team was just as important as picking the right location. My husband and I instantly knew the BGC was our venue when we first met with Karen and her husband. They were warm, friendly, real, and had a ton of experience. Karen was extremely attentive and accommodating from beginning to end. She made everything easy and anytime I needed a professional opinion she was always there. We love her! The space was perfect for us in both size and style. It is beautiful both outside and in. We have some incredible pictures on the grounds. The stone archways out back make for an incredible backdrop. The pricing was very fair. I was blown away when I first saw the space transformed. My husband and I had our actual ceremony in the same room as the reception. It was absolutely gorgeous. The transition from wedding ceremony to reception was very smooth. The food, as well as the service, was fabulous! We received so many compliments on so many different levels that day. If anything went wrong, we had no idea. I highly recommend Karen and the team at the BGC for any event.

My husband and I wed February 2016 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. We had the most wonderful, top rated experience working with Karen and the BGC team. When we first started looking at venues and meeting different wedding coordinators, we realized picking the right team was just as important as picking the right location. My husband and I instantly knew the BGC was our venue when we first met with Karen and her husband. They were warm, friendly, real, and had a ton of experience. Karen was extremely attentive and accommodating from beginning to end. She made everything easy and anytime I needed a professional opinion she was always there. We love her! When Karen told us that the club prided itself on good food and good booze, we had high expectations. All of those expectations were met. The place was fantastic and everyone complimented the food (especially the filet which could be cut with a butter knife). The room has vaulted ceilings and a cozy feeling among our guests. Karen was so helpful throughout our entire process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

She responded quickly to my email questions and even catered to us when we just popped in to see the venue. The reception was perfect. When I walked into our venue on our wedding day, I was blown away. Every detail I had picked out over so much time was beautifully laid out in front of me. Karen took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Not only did everything look gorgeous but the staff was extremely professional and the food was absolutely delicious! I mean wedding food is not known to be great, but this was amazing! Prime Rib all the way! From the first day I met Karen, I knew we would be well taken care of. It was wonderful to work with someone who genuinely loves what they do, and it shows.

Bloomingdale Golf Club went above and beyond for our wedding on 9/19/15. My husband and I can't say enough positive things about Karen, Jeff, and their entire staff! Everything turned out better than we imagined at their beautiful venue- in fact I cried when I walked into the ball room and saw how perfectly everything was set up. \rKaren was wonderful to work with - always prompt returning emails and always smiling, laughing, and exuding so much confidence and optimism. She had great referrals and recommendations for us (Blooming Flowers was outstanding) and we received so many compliments on our cake! (Central Continental Bakery).\rThe food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond! Bob was so patient with our bridal party while we drove through the course for pictures, and Ray even offered to help carry my train and bustle my dress as I walked back to cocktail hour! Leslie was so helpful arranging tee times for my husband and groomsmen before the wedding, and Don was gracious (and patient) when my husband and I showed up the morning after the wedding to pick up the rest of our favors and centerpieces.\rEverything was perfect the day of and we can't thank Karen and Jeff enough. Booking Bloomingdale Golf Club for our wedding was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We had our wedding here in July and were so impressed with everything! We got the prime rib, chicken piccata and eggplant parmesan as food options and we are still hearing from our guests how good the food was! Karen was awesome to work with and made me feel like I was in very good hands throughout the whole planning process. The actual room is beautiful with high ceilings and surrounded by windows on three sides looking out to the golf course. We could not be happier with the staff and entire experience of Bloomingdale!

When we walked into Bloomingdale Golf Course that August day we both knew it was everything we wanted and more. From the beautiful grounds, the perfectly neutral ballroom, the affordable menu and the BEST couple, Karen and Jeff, running the show, we knew we found our venue. Throughout the planning process Karen was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and was so quick to return my one million emails. \rWhen I told Karen that I am crafty and there would be a lot of DIY projects she didn’t bat an eye and encouraged me to be creative. Not something you find at every venue. \rOn the day of the wedding Karen and her husband, Jeff, made sure the event went off without a hitch. They stalked the weather all day for our outdoor ceremony (luckily we just beat the rain!) They repeatedly checked in with my husband and I and family members to ensure everyone was taken care off.
