The previous owners passed over the mantle to Lorrie Deyelle Mailhot, who commenced with renovations in 2021 and has transformed it into the perfect wedding destination. Blue Bear Inn boasts a variety of beautiful settings, both indoor and outdoor. Situated on 63 acres of pristine land, with views of the surrounding Piscataquog Valley, the Inn sits on Crotched Mountain. Its urban farmhouse aesthetics perfectly blend with the tranquility of nature, giving you and your partner the best of both worlds. There are 13 bedrooms in the Inn, which you and your party can avail yourselves of, as well as two dining rooms. In particular, The Oak Hill Dining Room features a lush red carpet, intricate wallpaper, and a warming fireplace. You and your nearest and dearest will love exploring the Inn and the grounds for some unique pictures. Meet the Blue Bear Inn Team
Lorrie Deyelle Mailhot (Owner) Lorrie Mailhot purchased the property in September of 2021 and immediately began the renovations and reopened the Inn. Renovations include refreshed furniture, interior wall, and floor restorations, as well as other important updates.Lorrie’s long-time dream has been to run an inn. She visited the site of the Blue Bear Inn in July of 2021 and knew it was a perfect fit for her. As a New England resident for over 30 years, Lorrie’s philanthropy and love for the people here precedes her.
