Blue Mountain Resort is a multi-purpose wedding venue located upon the slopes of the Pocono Mountains in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. The family-owned location was opened on the 22nd of December, 1977 and has since established itself as a hallmark of wedding venues in Pennsylvania. The Blue Mountain Team was everything we could have asked for throughout the entire process!! I saw one photo of the ceremony space on the edge of the mountain and new we had to make this the spot for the big day. As a couple we werenât going for the rustic vibe which is what you would think of immediately for a mountain top venue but the Alpine ballroom fit my âindustrial vibeâ perfectly with expose metal beams/rafters, added architectural details with the A Frame and the warm stone wall accent throughout. The entire setting was perfect. We started the process with communication (prompt and detailed) from Emily, met Mollie on site to tour and ask my million initial questions, were handed off to Alana and finished the process with our day of coordinator Abby. The patience of each and every one of these ladies was through the roof. I had a lot of what I consider âout of the boxâ questions and they never once made me feel like I couldnât get exactly what I wanted. Each person got exactly what we were looking for and executed perfectly! I can ât thank them all enough!!ADDING: I don't know how I forgot to add how amazing the food was! The tasting was great to get a feel for all options and cooking filet for a large group can be concerning but the portions were large and flavored amazing with the perfect temps. Cocktail hour options were plentiful and tasty, we were taken care of as a couple and had our own time to ourselves to just take a moment soak it in, have a drink and snack. There were tons of cake options flavor and design wise, the pastry team was open to all ideas and made them come to life. :)

Alana was extremely helpful and patient with us throughout the year and half duration of wedding planning. She answered so many of our questions and had a planning meeting with us onsite and really helped our wedding vision come to life. Cassie was our day of coordinator and she was beyond amazing. I sent millions of emails the week leading up to our wedding and she was always so communicative, responsive, patient, and accommodating. Since we had a Friday wedding, she let us into the (beautiful) Vista ballroom Thursday afternoon to set up our decor before rehearsal started. Catelyn made our simple 2 tier cake and cupcakes look so beautiful on our dessert table. The bar staff was phenomenal as well - Our guests are still talking about how the staff remembered their drink order as soon as they walked up to the bar. The whole Blue team was absolutely incredible. Aside from the staff, the venue is absolutely stunning and the all inclusivity aspect made the planning process a breeze - food, alcohol, onsite shuttle service, day of coordinator, and bridal cabin were all included in the per person price with tax included. We have no regrets about choosing Blue Mountain as our wedding venue and if you are looking for a sign to book with them, this is it! Thank you Blue Mountain for the most amazing wedding!

Our day was flawless. Alana was very helpful, attentive and insightful with our wedding plans before our day-of coordinator took over. Lily was exceptional. She was by our side from the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the night before, to early morning and the entire day of the event. She was also very attentive and informative. She took control and made sure everything was on time and decorated to perfection.The venue itself is breathtaking. I had so many compliments on our outdoor ceremony and the views. The food and drinks were exceptional as well as all of the staff.

Blue Mountain was the first venue we saw, and even though the incredible sales coordinator Mollie could feel the excitement radiating off of us, she suggested we see other venues before committing. We did, and when we called back and booked we made sure to tell her how much we appreciated HER commitment to making sure we found the venue that was right for us. And man, Blue was. We could write the entire review based on how amazing the people at Blue Mountain are, and how special they made our perfect day. Planning with Alana was a breeze, and she was so patient with all of our many questions and so accommodating to every detailed request we made. The bartender, Robin, was equally accommodating, hopping on a 20 min call with my to discuss my signature drink and ultimately crafting a homemade hot honey syrup for my margarita - which he gave me an early taste of day of. And Lily, our day of coordinator, was a total rockstar - organized and responsive in the lead up and so helpful and thoughtful throughout the night. Finally, our cake was STUNNING - not to mention delicious. Catelyn created the cake of our dreams, complete with our little puppy pawing at one of the layers. If the people werenât enough to cement that our decision to host our wedding at Blue was the right one (they were), every other detail confirmed it again and again. The foliage turned out in full force for our October date and we had our run of the place, the food was incredible, the newly re-done bridal cabin was the perfect spot for a midday break, and our guests commented again and again on how perfect everything was. We couldnât agree more. Our photographers even pulled us aside for a first look of the reception, and the photos donât disappoint. If youâre looking to throw the best party of your life, take Mollieâs advice and look around, but itâd be hard to beat Blue Mountain Resort.

We had our wedding 09.01.23 and it was everything we could have asked for! The Blue mountain team is amazing, and make you feel so at ease! We really appreciated they helped with absolutely everything from start to finish. They really allowed us and the family members to enjoy the whole day without worrying about the little details!! Everything was beautiful. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding here, and highly recommend anyone else looking to book them!!

We had our wedding 09.01.23 and it was everything we could have asked for! The Blue mountain team is amazing, and make you feel so at ease! We really appreciated they helped with absolutely everything from start to finish. They really allowed us and the family members to enjoy the whole day without worrying about the little details!! For starters, Blue Mountain is simply beautiful. The ceremony site is breathtaking, the Summit Courtyard serves a perfect cocktail hour vibe, and the Vista Ballroom was a candlelit dream. We knew we wanted an outdoor, mountaintop wedding, but had become very discouraged after touring other ski resorts that just weren't fitting right. We almost cancelled our tour of Blue and we are SO GLAD we didn't! Upon meeting the wedding sales & coordinators at Blue, the vibes were immediately SO GOOD. And once we set foot in the Vista Ballroom, I just started crying. I knew this was it! And the team at Blue absolutely delivered. Carey, our coordinator, was so sweet; always responding so fast to my millions of e-mails and accommodating my requests. For example, she worked with us to allow us to set up our reception decor before the rehearsal, since our ballroom was not being used that evening, and even stopped by to say hi & answer questions, despite being busy with another event that night. Catelyn effortlessly designed the most gorgeous cake for us. The bar and kitchen staff were so friendly - and the food and drinks were a HIT. Mollie, who gave us our first tour of Blue, ended up becoming such a good friend of ours - it's a relationship we'll treasure forever. The whole team helped us execute the wedding of our dreams, even on a rainy day. We felt so safe and taken care of. We got so many compliments from our guests on everything - the scenery, the food, etc. Not to mention, Blue was one of the only venues we came across where food and drinks were bundled together and priced with tax included upfront, so there were no surprise fees at the end. You really can't go wrong with this venue!!

Can't say enough about this venue. The wedding coordinators and organizers were phenomenal. They paid attention to all of our requests and needs. The food was fantastic and accommodating, our cake designer worked with us in every way to make our cake perfect. Could not have asked for a better group of individuals who were very professional well organized and coordinated our wedding in such a manner that made it perfect in every way. Thank you so much for everything that you've done to make our wedding as perfect as it was. We love the fact that everything was included in our price the food the drinks the cake and the venue. And the views were spectacular made for great photos.

She was always 2 steps ahead of me and kept me sane. She had everything set up as planned, she even showed up at the crack of dawn because she had a gut feeling about our bridal suite being locked!! Blue mountain was our only choice for our wedding--it is where my husband and I met--and they certainly delivered on an amazing experience. The view is amazing, the staff are amazing and so helpful, and the food was great. Strongly advice the Lime in the Coconut cake, it's exquisite.

We just had our wedding at Blue Mountain in August and had the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. At our initial visit and meeting we were sold and booked quickly after. Alana worked with us during all the planning, she was always responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our day of coordinator, Cassie, was also great. She was professional and organized and helped make sure the day went perfectly. Lastly, the venue is absolutely beautiful, so many guests raved about the ceremony outside at the pergola, it's truly picturesque. We had our cocktail hour outside as well which was lovely and our reception was in the vista ballroom. 10/10 recommend Blue Mountain. The venue is gorgeous and the team we worked with were amazing.

Booking Blue Mountain Resort was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! The day we went there, I fell in love with the scenery and how sweet Cali was in helping us with the questions we had. We didnât make a decision that day but I soon realized I was never going to find anything that even compared to the beautiful venue they have there. After Cali had set us up with all of the questions and help because as most of you probably, I had never planned a wedding before. She then handed me to the next coordinator who was Alana. And wow. Alana helped with SOOOO much! She emailed back quickly about questions I had, she sent pictures of different things I could use, one being the cabin that is open now for getting ready. The only thing I can say about the cabin, is I wish there was a bathroom a little closer without having to walk all the way to the main building, but it worked out well still. Then the rehearsal, our main day of coordinator was Cassie and she was a rockstar. She helped understand my wild and flighty brain as I DIYâd literally everything for the wedding. She was so on top of everything! So I gave her all of the decor that day, quickly explained where everything went and what it was, which flowers went where and so much more. She was able to help everyone understand how the day was going to go and was very good at her job. We had the rehearsal at slope side and it went so well and our waitress was literally the sweetest person ever! The cake that is included is done by Catelyn and she nailed exactly what I wanted for the cake. Even down to the small detail of my dog statue of my hooligan eating a piece out of the cake and the cat being up higher looking like a diva. So then the wedding day happened. One, the food was amazing, the salmon and the cornbread stuffed chicken were so good! We went with the buffet style dinner and I am so glad that we did because everyone loved it and was able to choose what they wanted and try a little bit of something else if it was available. So the day of like I said Cassie was our main person. She did such a good job. She was able to really work with all of my other vendors like the photographer and DJ to make sure everything went smoothly. And it did. There was a point in the evening I had been nervous about how much needed to happen in such a short time frame and those three worked together so smoothly and we were able to move some things around ever so slightly at the last minute because we were ahead of schedule and everything was so smooth and I didnât even have to stress about it. I couldnât have been happier with how well my wedding day was, there were zero complaints and everyone had such a good time! Thank you so much Blue Mountain Staff! Booking Blue Mountain Resort was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! The day we went there, I fell in love with the scenery and how sweet Cali was in helping us with the questions we had. We didnât make a decision that day but I soon realized I was never going to find anything that even compared to the beautiful venue they have there. After Cali had set us up with all of the questions and help because as most of you probably, I had never planned a wedding before. She then handed me to the next coordinator who was Alana. And wow. Alana helped with SOOOO much! She emailed back quickly about questions I had, she sent pictures of different things I could use, one being the cabin that is open now for getting ready. The only thing I can say about the cabin, is I wish there was a bathroom a little closer without having to walk all the way to the main building, but it worked out well still. Then the rehearsal, our main day of coordinator was Cassie and she was a rockstar. She helped understand my wild and flighty brain as I DIYâd literally everything for the wedding. We could not say anything bad about this place. The moment we stepped foot on site and saw those mountain views we knew it was just meant to be. Our wedding day was simply perfect. The staff was incredible to work with! From Emily & Alana helping us out in the beginning with the booking process and any questions we would ask to Abby our wedding-day coordinator who made everything run soo smoothly to even having an oh shit kit available to fix the strap of my wedding dress⊠It was just AMAZING! She had the venue set up perfectly with the florist we hired to getting guests where they needed to be. The staff took such great care of us and the food guests still keeping raving about! Even the next day items were already packaged up nicely and put aside for us to bring home. You also dont want to miss out on the overlook where we had such beautiful sunset photos! And Slopeside Pub is right on site to do a rehearsal dinner which they as well were fantastic! HIGHLY recommend this venue if its a good location for the couple and their guests! :)

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Blue Mountain Resort! It worked out perfectly that we could host our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place and it was so much less stressful because they took care of pretty much everything! Location, catering, drinks, setup, and linens are all included. And they even have an onsite pastry chef who did an amazing job! The cake was beautiful and tasted great. The venue is at the upper mountain lodge of the ski resort, so you get amazing views. We unfortunately didn't have the best weather (thanks fog) but even with the not-ideal circumstances, we managed to have our ceremony outside and the scenery was still great. Finally, the staff is very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable! They answered all my questions, worked with us when we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid, and were great at explaining all the to-do's that had to get done leading up to the wedding. It was a great group of people to work with!

Absolutely beautiful venue scenery and top notch coordinators. Unlike most venues, the per person cost also includes tax and gratuity -- most other venues had those costs IN ADDITION to the per person pricing. No need to consult a caterer, bartender, OR a baker -- Blue Mountain includes ALL of this in your wedding package! Catelyn is an incredibly talented baker and made the most adorable ski slope cake for our spring skiing themed wedding. She can do just about anything you ask her for in terms of cake design and the cakes are DELICIOUS! Our cake flavor was carrot and I'm not sure it's going to be able to last until our 1 year anniversary....we will probably eat it before then!!! We primarily worked with Emily and Sam, who were super helpful through every step of the planning process. We had a google drive set up by them and had literally every document we could possibly need. Receipts of payments, contract copies, schedules of when things were due, even a copy of the seating chart already set up to easily capture everyone's meal preferences. Emily was our wedding day coordinator and she was on top of EVERYTHING! Only time I'd worried was when we had to move the ceremony indoors....even then she waited until the last possible minute to ask me to choose so I got to enjoy my morning getting ready. Speaking of which...only downside to Blue Mountain is if you want to get ready onsite, there's no real bridal suite to do so, but they can offer up a conference room. If you have a large bridal party though (more than 5-6 people), I'd recommend getting ready at a local salon or hotel and have the shuttle bus you over.Even with the only other hiccup of the day -- my dress strap ripping right off (!!!), Emily was ready with my emergency kit with safety pins and then later on....a thread and needle. Fortunately that all got resolved very quickly and we were all back to dancing the night away in no time!If I had to do it all over again though, I'd still pick Blue Mountain as our venue. Everyone kept raving to us about how amazing the views were and what a wonderful time they had celebrating!

Where do I even begin? The short version is that Blue Mountain is a beautiful venue, convenient (as they offer catering, alcohol, and cake services), and they are affordable. Above all, however â and I canât stress this enough â is that every single person not only played their role, but also went above and beyond it.The breathtaking ceremony cite, modern ballroom, friendly staff, and affordable price point, all contributed to Kristina and I choosing Blue Mountain as the flagship contributor to our wedding day. Once the preparations began, we found the duo of Sam and Emily to be an organized, helpful, and kind tandem that guided us through the unknowns of wedding planning. The Blue Mountain Team set up a cloud-based hub that contained all of our need-to-know information from contract and payment details, to the date we had to select the napkin colors by. These ladies were awesome and even helped walk through our dinner selections â side dish by side dish â to make sure we were totally comfortable. Speaking of food, Kris and I were also totally blown away by Blue Mountainâs cake expert, Catelyn. Not only was Catelynâs cake a piece of art, but we had many guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they have ever had (even the brutally honest guests). The cake was so delicious that that our top layer will not make it one year. In fact it barely made one week, as we ate it as soon as we got back from our honeymoon. Blue Mountain is really lucky to have such a talented baker.The last thing all touch on is probably the most important â the small things. Kristina and I made passing comments during planning on how much we loved food, and both Sam and Emily took that to heart and made sure we and the bridal party got the first dishes of appetizers during photos and cocktail hour. Another example happened earlier in the day. Due to the impending inclement weather, a tough decision had to be made an hour before showtime to move the ceremony inside. Sam was incredibly patient and kind, waiting until the very last moment to make the decision. The Blue Mountain Team was then able to flip the spare ballroom in a matter of minutes to a beautiful, intimate ceremony area. They made a stressful moment feel almost painless. The customer service even went beyond the wedding planners. Months afterwards, people are still talking about how awesome the bartenders were. They kept the drinks flowing, everyone smiling, and made sure my dad always had a fresh Guinness (which was not even part of the bar package) in hand.Kristina and I truly felt like we had a perfect day and we certainly owe a lot of that to Sam, Emily, and the Blue Mountain team.

Blue Mountain is where you want to get married! From the moment my husband and I walked onto the property and Emily showed us around we knew that this was the place. The property is absolutely breath taking, our guests are still raving about how beautiful the ceremony was (at the pergola on the side of the mountain), how perfect the cocktail space was (outside) and how amazing the reception space was. You can not beat a wall of windows that you can see the entire mountain! Emily was our day of coordinator and could not have been more helpful! We were engaged for 2.5 years and booked our wedding two years out and no matter how many questions or concerns I had Emily (and the other coordinators) responded within 24 hours with answers to any and all of my questions. They were also extremely accommodating - instead of doing the typical late night fry bar my husband and I really just wanted their amazing bacon aioli fries and they made that happen! Their food is absolutely the best!!! If you can try the chicken stuffed with corn bread or the grilled cheese with tomato soup for cocktail hour they are amazing! It will be the talk of all your guests! They also let us chose our own signature drinks AND let us have a cigar bar out on the deck! Also a huge hit! To say our experience there was anything short of perfect would be a lie. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The staff, the grounds, the food everything was perfect. Thank you Emily for being so AMAZING during our entire two years of planning!!! We can't thank you enough for making our day the best day of our lives and one that our friends and family will never forget!

I'm not sure where to start explaining how my experience was at Blue Mountain. Everything was more than I could have hoped for from the initial tour to our sparkler send off after our wedding! The Blue Mountain team made planning my day special! They took so much weight off my shoulders with keeping everything so organized and keeping me on track. Our coordinator Sam was AMAZING!! I loved her so much. But you get a chance to work with everyone because they are all there for you! They email you back within a day and answer ALL you questions! You can tell they all love what they do and do it well! I barely had to ask questions because they had everything covered before I could even think about it. It made planning so easy and fun! The venue speaks for itself, I mean who can say they got married on top of a mountain! The food was amazing, service fantastic, view unforgettable!Day of went off without a hitch! Sam was there the whole time making sure the day ran smooth with out an issues! I didn't have to worry about a thing, just to enjoy my day and that's what I did, enjoyed every second. If I could do it all again, I would! The only advice I give those who are looking to get married here is DO IT! You will not regret it!

As an out-of-town bride working with other vendors became very stressful but all of the planners at Blue were so flexible and extremely prompt. My day-of coordinator was Emily and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. We got unlucky with the weather on our wedding day as the ground was wet and it was very misty outside on the mountain. As soon as I arrived at Blue she asked me what I wanted to do about the ceremony. I had dreamed of it being outside since we toured the venue and Emily didn't even blink or question it - she was on top of everything and made my vision come to life. The entire day went perfect, we have received so many compliments on the staff, food, cake, and everything at the venue. I would never hesitate to recommend Blue Mountain to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue.

I don't know how to begin expressing our experience with Emily! She toured us around Blue Mountain around 2 years before our wedding and has worked with us throughout the whole planning process. Emily answered all our questions and was willing to work with us to ensure we were comfortable and confident in our decisions. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator, she was perfect! Blue Mountain is a wonderful venue-the views, staff, cocktail hour area, the ballrooms, everything is stunning. We received so many compliments saying how great our wedding was and how delicious the food was.I was hoping we would be able to set up our decor but because of another wedding we were unable to. I was skeptical about dropping off all our decor and assuming the staff would place everything correctly, but they did! It was actually nice not having the stress of the set up, everything is off your hands.I also had concerns about 2 weddings going on at once, but this really didn't interfere much at all. I know a few of my guests were incorrectly directed to the other weddings cocktail hour before my ceremony, but they soon figured out they were supposed to be down at the ceremony site.Our dinner times were a little delayed, but everyone was having such a great time to even notice. Emily helped with the pack up at the end of the night and was with us every step of the way.I highly recommend Blue Mountain as your venue! Thank you to the entire staff for making our day go so smooth.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Blue Mountain. It was the most perfect night ever! Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to in their lives and a couple even commented that it was so beautiful it should have been on TV. Many people commented on how breath taking the ceremony site is and they were amazed with the reception room. I got asked many times how I found this magnificent place! I found it online of course (The Knot). The food was spectacular we had chicken parm and prime rib and the hors d'oeuvres were delicious. The mac and cheese balls (made special by request) and the coconut shrimp were a real hit!! The cake was spectacular, not only was it beautiful but it was also extremely tasty we had a chocolate and lemon alternative cake all with vanilla bean icing. The wedding coordinator worked with us trying to decide if it would rain or not and thankfully it didn't because we decided to have it outside! Blue is there for you every step of the way and they think of everything. They answer emails timely and you can tell they love what they do!! They even put together our center pieces for us which were not easy to do. Best day of my life, ill never forget it. We HIGHLY recommend blue!!! Just go for a tour, see the Vista Ballroom and the ceremony site, you wont regret it.

The atmosphere was perfect for us: it incorporated nature with the the decor of the ballrooms and views of the mountain and valley; it was laid back (and affordable) with a sophisticated feel; the food was delicious (including the cake); and best of all, the event coordinators were fantastic. Emily, Casey and Sam were extremely helpful in the planning process. They were organized, knowledgeable, responded quickly to emails or calls, were genuinely happy for us and happy to work with us. The atmosphere was perfect for us: it incorporated nature with the the decor of the ballrooms and views of the mountain and valley; it was laid back (and affordable) with a sophisticated feel; the food was delicious (including the cake); and best of all, the event coordinators were fantastic. Emily, Casey and Sam were extremely helpful in the planning process. They were organized, knowledgeable, responded quickly to emails or calls, were genuinely happy for us and happy to work with us. We were very pleased with how everything turned out for our special day, and we absolutely recommend them for your next event đ

I can not imagine an easier venue to work with then Blue . The three wedding coordinators were very prompt with answering emails (never more than 24 hour delay). Emily was always one step ahead on our wedding day. The site also handled most of of our set up which made the day much less stressful. The staff was very accommodating, especially with a napkin change the day of the wedding. From the very beginning of the day everything was in place. Heavy tree sections were placed on the tables, with lanterns and decorations. All we had to do was show up. During our cocktail hour we were unable to go to the bar, so Samantha brought the bar to us. Everything we needed, they were there! Our ceremony went on without a hitch, and then the party began! The bartenders were top notch, and it showed on the dance floor! Everyone was having a blast, and it all happened too fast. We only wished that we extended our reception longer, we did not want the night to end. They also did not make us clean up that night, they kindly packed all of our decorations and had them ready when we returned the following day. We would definitely recommend Blue Mountain as a wedding venue to everyone looking to get married. Say I do and then relax!

This venue was a last minute option, however, Emily and Casey helped us put our wedding together. They walked us through every detail of the ceremony and reception, allowed us to practice our dance when the room was available. Choosing Blue Mountain was the easiest and best decision of wedding planning. From the very beginning, they were outstanding. They were so flexible in our needs, so quick to respond and help, and always checking in. It was so evident how much they enjoy their jobs, and how great they were. They made every decision so simple and worked with us tremendously on so many little details. All the girls were phenomenal, but Sam ended up being our day of coordinator who I absolutely adore! She was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about her. She made every step of the process smooth and made the entire day stress-free. I was never concerned about anything going wrong the day of the wedding because I knew she had it covered. She didn't even allow a doubt to come to mind before she handled literally everything. I am so happy that I made the choice to get married here. Outside of the service, the food was incredible. All of my guests truly enjoyed themselves. Blue mountain offered so many choices, and they were accommodating with allergies and restrictions. A few of my guests needed Gluten Free dishes and others required Vegetarian options, and this was no problem for them. My husband and I had wanted doughnuts and an ice cream bar to be apart of our day, and they were so great about working with us on that. On top of that, the dessert chef made a small cutting cake for us that was entirely Gluten and Dairy Free due to my allergy. Everyone I worked with here was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I still have guests telling me how great the entire day was, and my husband and I are now in awe over our amazing pictures in the beautiful scenery of Blue Mountain. Throughout the day and even today, we received compliments about how beautiful the entire venue and experience was. Blue mountain was easily the best and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering it. It's affordable, gorgeous, and stress free. You will not regret it! :)

Planning a wedding in 4 months is no easy task, but one of the best decisions we made was selecting Blue Mountain Resort as our reception venue. After just one visit with Casey and her team, we knew that it was meant to be. The physical space is beautiful (think sophisticated, yet approachable), the wedding packages offer exceptional value (itâs almost a one-stop-shop without compromising any quality), the food was delicious and the level of service from the wedding planners exceeded all of our expectations. What Blue Mountain Resort lacks by not having lodging on-site (although, itâs coming in the near future), it over-delivers on with value and white-glove service. Most importantly, the people you interact with at Blue Mountain are all so friendly and easy to work with. During your initial tour, when they tell you that theyâre willing to do anything to help make the day a success ⊠itâs the godâs honest truth. They go out of their way to accommodate your every need. Blue Mountain Resort is an absolutely breath-taking venue .We had both our ceremony & reception there!As for the planning process, it was extremely organized in advance & throughout the execution of our wedding day! I threw a ton at Emily at once & she had everything down to a science & handled it beautifully! I never saw her sweat & she was so calm & collected! She is so fabulous! My favorite part of the day was EVERYTHING....from walking down the aisle to dancing & enjoying the elegant reception with my family & friends! The waitstaff was also so polite! They even boxed up my dinner that I didn't get to finish & labeled the to go box \"Bride\"(how sweet is that?!?!) Blue Mountain is the absolute perfect venue for a fall wedding. Not only is everything so beautiful inside and outside, the staff was AMAZING. Casey was our planner and she was very professional, realistic, relaxed, and she communicated with us every step of the way. She was wiling to answer any questions, late night texts, and she was there for us throughout the entire process of booking to executing the event. Before, during, and after the wedding, she was constantly checking in with us. During the reception she made sure we had food and drinks and continued to work her way around making sure everything was going the way we had planned. Blue Mountain was extremely flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a Friday wedding and Thursday rehearsal so they went out of their way to set up the room on Thursday afternoon so we didn't have to come in early Friday morning. Additionally, it ended up raining on the day of our wedding and we had more than enough choices for alternative ceremony sites and we never felt frazzled or stressed to make that adjustment. Since the bridesmaids and I were getting ready on site, which was very convenient, we were notified of any potential changes with the weather immediately and we were able to check out the new ceremony location before any guests arrived. Once the wedding was over, Casey and the other staff boxed together everything we brought and had it for us the next morning ready to pick up. This made the end of the night stress free because we didn't have to worry about anything! The food was delicious and we heard nothing but positive remarks from the guests. Catelynn, the pastry chef's Carrot Cake Cupcakes were a huge hit and some of our guests are still craving them! Not only was Blue Mountain's price right, but the scenic location, quality of food and service, and level of professionalism from the staff helped make our day so special and unforgettable.

My husband and I cannot say enough about how hard the whole wedding team at Blue Mountain work to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. Meg, Emily, and especially Casey, our day-of coordinator were all super helpful and easy to work with. They communicated well with us and worked with us to put all of the parts of our wedding into one seamless day. They definitely know what they're doing. All of our guests raved about the beautiful ballroom, stunning views, and outstanding food. We cannot thank Blue Mountain enough for making our special day a perfect one.

Deciding to hold both our wedding ceremony and reception at Blue Mountain was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. We are still receiving compliments on how perfect the venue was. We chose to hold our ceremony cliff side under the pergola and the view was absolutely breathtaking! It made for some awesome pictures too :) Casey was our day of coordinator and she was spectacular! Leading up to the wedding, she was so quick to answer our endless emails, sometimes even responding within minutes. On the day of our wedding, she even set up every one of our decorations throughout the entire venue and made everything look perfect. She was such a huge help throughout the entire day and I don't know what we would have done without her!

It is a stunning place to have a wedding and the wedding coordinators are very helpful and professional. During our ceremony outside, we used microphones. We could not hear with the waterfall running, my dress got wet, hearing the restaurant music at slope side grill, and a Birthday party . As we were saying our vows, we heard the Happy Birthday song. It was such a disappointment. The setting was so beautiful but, it was ruined with other sounds and not being able to hear my officiant. The reception went great. Our guests loved the venue but, wished the ceremony would have been different.

This was by far the most beautiful venue we looked at. You can't beat the views and the newly renovated space for the price. We had a few disappointments - a green roof that was supposed to be built in time for the wedding was delayed, and I felt like we were being nickel and dimed for every detail we wanted to modify. However, Meg the wedding coordinator is great to work with. She did a beautiful job setting everything up, and made the evening perfect for us.

The staff at Blue Mountain went above and beyond to make my wedding perfect. They accommodated all guests, including those with special dietary needs. My guests have been raving about the beautiful location and delicious food. The portions were the biggest they'd ever received! (And they even gave some of my guests containers to take their leftovers home!) So many things were included in our package (the cake, open bar, linens, champagne toast, etc.) that the price was really worth it. I highly recommend this amazing venue to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Blue Mountain was the perfect choice for our wedding! I had a vision for what I wanted in a wedding venue and when I saw pictures of Blue Mountain I fell in love. Not only was Blue exactly what I wanted, my now husband fell in love with the pictures as well. We had gone to Blue in the past for wedding, but not after their more recent renovations. The whole place is gorgeous! \r \tWe were planning our wedding from almost 5 hours away and Lisa made sure it was possible. She answered my hundreds of questions in a timely manner and was always easy to reach. She helped me coordinate a special surprise for my now husband and worked with the vendors to make sure it went on completely unseen. The wedding was perfect and went extremely smooth, the food was amazing! I have gotten many unsolicited compliments on how good the food was and how amazing the venue was. \r \tCan we talk about value?! Blue Mountain is more than worth the price they charge, I was scared we wouldnât be able to have the wedding of our dreams since we were single handedly paying for the entire wedding. The value of Blue surpasses the cost! If I had a million dollars and could do it again, I will still have out wedding at Blue Mountain ï . \r

A beautiful location, but it was a little difficult arranging everything. Could have been because we were in KY trying to plan it, but we had a difficult time reaching the Event Coordinator, Lori. She was wonderful to work with and really came through for us the day of the wedding, but it was very hard getting in touch with her. She let us do pretty much whatever we wanted decorating wise. They have a wedding package, which is about $90/person and was out of our price range. But they do host events, and they allowed us to use that menu, which dropped the price to less than half. Speaking of food, it was DELICIOUS!! We wanted to have the ceremony outside, but due to rain the entire week before, we did not. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue with the caveat that they are difficult to get in touch with.
