Weddings at ‪Blue Pit BBQ‬ are a party: fun and easy! We provide excellent food, drinks, and staff. Whatever you need, we handle. Our space is unique, rustic, and versatile, including a bar area, upstairs, and outdoor patio. Our focused cuisine means that it is perfected and tasty. Instead of just “chicken or pasta”, why not have variety with unlimited amounts? Weddings come with a full buffet that includes all our meats, sides, cornbread and slider buns, and our vegan jackfruit. We refill the buffet as needed, and pack up any leftovers. Plus, open bar! We greet guests with welcome cocktails and offer a wide variety of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails. We help with planning, desserts and have our own photo booth for you to use. Ask about our special Sunday reception pricing!

This was the first venue my husband and I looked at, and despite looking at many others we still ended up back at Blue Pit! Cara was incredibly kind and easy to work, the whole staff was always nice, and the food is just to die for. We were very happy with the responsiveness leading up to our big day. Everyone at Blue Pit put in a lot of hard work to make sure our day was everything we had hoped for, and it honestly could not have gone better. We even had many compliments from our guests about how amazing the staff, food, and location itself was. If you’re looking for something low-key that still has a great vibe with good food and good drinks, this is the place.

Cara and the rest of the staff at Blue Pit BBQ are fantastic, very attentive, and eager to help. My husband and I had our wedding here in March 2023 and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Cara was very responsive and helped with everything from food, decor, deliveries, scheduling, planning and so much more! If you’re looking for a private party space or just dinner and drinks after work this is your spot! Food, drinks, people, and atmosphere are great!

Cara and the rest of the staff at Blue Pit BBQ are fantastic, very attentive, and eager to help. My husband and I had our wedding here in March 2023 and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Cara was very responsive and helped with everything from food, decor, deliveries, scheduling, planning and so much more! If you’re looking for a private party space or just dinner and drinks after work this is your spot! Food, drinks, people, and atmosphere are great!

We loved having our wedding at Blue Pit! Cara was helpful every step of the planning process and met with us regularly to make sure everything went smoothly. She is very patient and knowledgeable and helped us with everything from decorations to signature cocktails. The food was amazing and we got a ton of compliments! It was great having the whole restaurant to ourselves. We loved having different areas for the ceremony, dinner, and reception. Everyone had a fun time in a relaxed atmosphere. Cara also allowed us plenty of time for the wedding so we didn’t feel rushed. Amazing venue!

We had our wedding reception at Blue Pit and I cannot imagine a more perfect experience.Planning: Cara was amazing to work with, she was always responsive and thoughtful in answering our questions leading up to the day. She was very flexible and creative and also offered great advice, which was so reassuring since we were planning our wedding from across the country. We ended up not hiring a wedding planner/day of coordinator for a number of reasons, but one of the big ones being that Cara was all over it and took so much care about making sure it was an amazing day for us and our guests.Food & Drink: The food is DELICIOUS and our guests loved it. I had read other reviews where their guests called it the best wedding food they had ever had, and our guests said the same thing! As is usually the case my husband and I barely had time to eat a plate during our wedding, but fortunately we can go back to Blue Pit any time to relive our wedding menu (huge perk!). Also the team put together some delicious signature cocktails for us and had an amazing full bar selection.Venue: We wanted a really comfortable and sociable venue for our reception. Our guests loved bouncing around the two floors of the restaurant and hanging out on the patio. It was perfect for lots of mingling and random dance circles popping up. We specifically didn't want a \"blank canvas\" type venue where we would have to spend a ton on decorations, furnishings, and place settings, and we were able to focus on what was most important to us.Blue Pit Team: Amazing vibes all around. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and fast, and really cared about making it a great day for us.HUGE thank you to Cara & the Blue Pit team for creating a perfect, delicious, lovely, and FUN wedding reception for us. It was beyond all our expectations.

Carrie and her team completely rocked it for our rehearsal dinner. Communication was excellent in the days leading up to the event and staff were flexible with last minute changes to the headcount. Guests of all ages raved about the delicious food (I am still hearing about the beans!) The upstairs room was perfect for a party that included several small children, and staff even provided quarters for the little ones to play with the downstairs vending machine, which they loved! Our bartender was so attentive and made sure everyone had drinks, food and a great time, offering vegetarian alternatives if we wanted them. We left with tons of leftovers and the price was very affordable for an open bar package. I can’t say enough good things about Blue Pit and the events team and would use them for any event without question.

This was the absolute best place for our reception! They are affordable and very responsive. Cara Bruce, the owner, made the entire day so easy and she took care of everything. The servers were also amazing and all of our guests loved them. They were fun, kind, and kept all of the guests drinks filled! I highly recommend having your wedding here or ANY event.

We hosted our wedding reception at Blue Pit BBQ and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We met with Cara (the owner) when we initially were planning our wedding to see how it would work at the restaurant. She was so wonderful, just the sweetest person! We agreed that day Blue Pit was the perfect place for us. We didn’t want a traditional wedding, just great food and good drinks (bonus that they are so involved in dog rescues). Throughout the year Cara was so responsive to my question and flexible to meet our wishes. The day of the wedding went on without a hitch. The food was AMAZING, the drinks were delicious, and the service was top notch! The food was refilled constantly and the staff was walking around with specialty drinks and beer buckets were always full of delicious beers. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the wedding a month later! I couldn’t imagine not having our wedding at Blue Pit! Thank you to Cara and all the staff!

Cara Bruce (Owner) Here at Blue Pit BBQ we love weddings. We believe in doing everything possible to make your wedding the best day imaginable. For us, that means going above and beyond: helping you plan, helping you decorate, organizing your cake delivery, carefully displaying your desserts, pre-loading your music playlist so it's ready to go and sounds right, and providing our own Pixilated photo booth and props for you to use for free. There is nothing we love more then helping you throw an amazing party that your friends and family will rave about!
