Bluestone Estate is a wedding venue located in Lancaster, PA. This historic setting provides couples and their loved ones with a romantic space to host the wedding of their dreams. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the countryside, this property is a blend of refined elegance and rustic charm, offering breathtaking views with modern amenities. Couples and their loved ones are treated to a captivating experience as they celebrate at Bluestone Estate. Surrounded by 110 acres of lovingly maintained grounds, the property offers a number of outdoor event spaces to choose from. Allow the peaceful water features of the property to act as your backdrop as you exchange vows. Originally constructed in 1770 and made with locally sourced bluestone, the main house has hosted countless weddings and special events. The stone barn, built in 1822, underwent renovations in 2017 and has retained its historical and enchanting character. This remarkable structure features exposed beams, elegant chandeliers, and vaulted ceilings, and can accommodate tables and chairs for a formal sit-down meal. The dedicated team of event staff at Bluestone Estate offers a wide range of services to choose from. They will work with your chosen vendors to ensure that every element of your day is carefully considered and expertly executed. The team will also be happy to provide you with a list of trusted vendors to help you assemble your team. On the day of your event, you and your wedding party will be invited to prepare for your special day in the venue’s Get Ready Suite. To ensure all of your guests have easy access to the property, there is on-site parking and wheelchair accessibility.

Bluestone seriously was everything we could have asked for with our wedding venue and more!! Erin was so helpful from the day we signed our contract through to the end of our wedding day. She was professional and very responsive with all of our questions, and not to mention the absolute sweetest! She made a few accommodations for us that we couldn't be more thankful for. I loved how early in the day we had access to the venue itself and to the Bridal Suite. The layout of the venue is perfect, and there are so many unbelievable views and backdrops to get all of the stunning pictures with your photographer. Bluestone seriously went above and beyond to help make our dream come true, and everything about the day was nothing short of stunning!

Bluestone seriously was everything we could have asked for with our wedding venue and more!! Erin was so helpful from the day we signed our contract through to the end of our wedding day. I don't have proper words to describe the incredible, natural beauty of this venue. My husband searched for venues in Central PA for months and immediately knew that Bluestone Estate was where we needed to get married. Not only are the grounds PERFECTLY manicured, the renovation barn (reception area) is breath taking. The bridal suite and grooms quarters are beautiful and perfectly stocked with everything you could ever need. It is truly a perfect venue.The staff. Again, it's difficult to express my gratitude towards the staff at Bluestone. Poor Erin had an email from me atleast once a day during the beginning stages of my wedding planning process. She promptly and happily answered all my questions and continued to do so until I left the venue the night of my wedding. Erin and her staff are so kind, caring, and helpful. They truly were meant to be in the wedding industry. Thank you Bluestone Estate! You made my wedding day absolutely perfect!!

I'm not sure that I can adequately express my gratitude to all associated with Bluestone Estate. What an amazing day we had. Erin and her staff could not have been more efficient, supportive or gracious as we went through the sometimes stressful moments leading up to our event. Additionally, these same qualities carried through during the whole day. They all certainly know what they're doing and we are so thankful that we chose Bluestone as our venue. We will never forget Bluestone Estate! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my daughter's dreams (and mine too) come true.

This was a beautiful venue to have a wedding. Although it is a little pricy it was well worth it. The best part was the wedding coordinator, Crystal, who was just fabulous! She really is a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was taken care of. They accommodated our request for a Ferris wheel which was a big hit. The outdoor area has a pretty lake which makes for nice pictures. The groom and bridal rooms are also very nice.

What an AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL venue! When driving down the pathway we immediately new Bluestone Estate had to be our wedding venue. The tranquil atmosphere and breath-taking newly renovated historical barn were more than perfect. Erin was a pleasure to work with prior to the wedding day and helped to make sure all details were thought of and ironed out. We enjoyed getting ready in the bridal suite and grooms quarters to decompress prior to the ceremony and reception. Erin was so helpful and professional on the day of the wedding. She was always quick to respond and made sure our day was running smoothly at her beautiful venue.

Bluestone Estate far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we toured this venue with Erin (owner) in July 2021, we knew this was the place for us. Everything was so well organized, we had access to many things that most venues don't offer at no additional cost - beautiful farmhouse tables, whiskey barrels, etc. - anything that was on the property at Bluestone was available to use to enhance our day. Working with Erin & her team was a true pleasure. We will look back on this picture-perfect day of ours forever!

I could not have picked a more GORGEOUS wedding venue for my special day! Pictures cannot do this venue justice and I fell in love with it the minute I walked onto the property. We held our October 2021 wedding at Bluestone Estate and could not have asked for a better experience! From the very first time I visited the venue through the last moment of our big day, the staff at Bluestone was amazing. Erin's attention to detail and ability to anticipate a bride's needs was impeccable. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but it was my initial tour and informational session that was the cherry on top and solidified our venue choice. As someone who plans events as part of my career and a highly organized type-A person, I truly felt like I was going to be able to trust my venue staff at Bluestone and boy was I right! Erin was attentive and answered every question along the way. We were unlucky (or they say lucky!), and had torrential downpours on the day of our wedding and Bluestone made sure that it did not take away from our big day. They willingly set up our ballroom for a ceremony and flipped the room during cocktail hour. The ability to have a solid plan B from the start proved to be even more useful than we could have imagined. We could not have imagined a more gorgeous venue and amazing team!

The grounds at Bluestone are breathtaking and we love the secluded location/feel. Bluestone Estate is truly a perfect combination of elegant, rustic, and romantic. If I could give 10 stars I would! This venue was perfect in every way. We searched all over Lancaster county and it was exactly what my daughter was looking for. She did not want a typical banquet hall. The outdoor patios gave us the European feel we wanted. It was a perfect size for our 150 guests and allowed for a nice size dance floor. The owners went the extra mile on a few things and that will always be remembered! Love them!

Both myself, Peter and our parties got ready in beautiful and comfortable bride/groom suites. The weather was not in our favor but that wasn’t an issue at this venue. They were able to turn the inside into a lovely Ceremony site where all our guests were comfortable. After the ceremony her staff was able to help my 80 year old grandparents in the golf cart to make it safely for pictures. They also took into account that two of my bridesmaids were new mothers and had a safe and private place for them to able to pump throughout the day and evening. I know it was all so much appreciated! During and after the wedding my guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about how stunning this venue was! All in all I would recommend this venue to any couple. It’s a beautiful venue for a wedding any time of year. Know that they work with you and your other vendors to make sure your day goes perfectly! Hello. Fyi. Bluestone has a very strict contract and agreement. Make sure you read and understand their terms as it relates to all non-refundable deposits. They do enforce their agreement and terms.

A beautiful family owned property with that intimate feel. The barn, the pond, the heart cut into the tall grass - it was just perfect. Erin and her family were easy to work with and communication was seamless. The Suite is perfect for getting ready on location - allowing for less stress traveling throughout the day. When we first started looking for venues, I knew from being from Lancaster, I did not want a barn. After seeing Bluestone online, I fell in LOVE with it, just by the pictures and knew we needed to look at it. I didn't get that barn feel, that I was avoiding, it was just so modernized and stunning. We did an impromptu drive by after looking at another venue, and Erin and her husband were able to accommodate us and give us a tour. We fell in love with it all over again. It was secluded, and so quiet. The views are just absolutely beautiful, the property offers so much space for your day. The thought that they put into building the venue is just amazing. When we walked inside and saw the reception area, the high ceilings and beautiful light fixtures we knew it was it. We also loved the fact of the bridal suite and grooms lounge were there.. those rooms in itself were just beautiful and fun. They were big enough to accommodate all of my girls and hair and make up artists and my husband with all his guys! Erin was such a pleasure to work with, answering all of our questions, working with our vendors and just bringing so much joy to our day!! We are so happy we found Bluestone and had our day there, because it was just perfect. Our guests are ranting and raving about the venue and space.

This venue is breathtaking. I can not rave enough about it. The bridal/groom suite is spacious, the barn decor is gorgeous, and the grounds are very well kept. COVID hit 3 weeks before our wedding and caused a bit of wrench into our plans. Erin worked with us every step of the way to ensure that our mini ceremony was everything we hoped for. The photographs were amazing and we CAN'T WAIT to return in March to have our celebration.

We cannot say enough good things about this venue and about Erin! We found this venue about a year and a half ago and from the very beginning we knew it was the one. The grounds are gorgeous, the outdoor bar for cocktail hour is an amazing touch, and everything about the venue was meticulously thought out. The chandeliers and lighting are so pretty throughout the venue. Erin from the very beginning was amazing to work with. She genuinely wants your wedding to be perfect and wants to help make it everything you have ever dreamed of and more. Our original date was in June and a few months beforehand Erin wanted to make sure we had a Plan B date to put our minds at ease. We rescheduled to August 21st and had some hurdles along the way, but Erin was there to assure us that everything would be ok and to do everything she and her team could to make our day happen. We got ready at the venue and had pictures on the property prior to the wedding. The weather was perfect and we made sure to celebrate the whole night! They really go above and beyond to make your day special (Erin's husband even nailed our Welcome sign back together after the wind knocked it over!). I would recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding day!

We got married on June 15th at Bluestone Estate and I really could not have invisioned a more perfect day made possible by this venue. The venue truly has it all; picture-perfect ceremony locations, fun cocktail hour space, a breathtaking reception area, and a great mix of indoor and outdoor space. All of our guests and vendors were blown away by the beauty of Bluestone! Erin and Chad were also extremely helpful and welcoming. We had an amazing day at the best venue!

We booked our wedding at Bluestone before the renovations were even close to being done and we DON'T REGRET A THING. I could tell just from the quality of work that had already been put into the property that the finished product would be immaculate and I've never been more right about a gut feeling. Erin and Chad have made the property so beautiful and all of our guests just raved about how gorgeous it all looked! (BONUS, we didn't even have to have many decorations because the property is just so wonderful the way that it is!) The venue isn't just about the appearance, though. I give them a 10/10 for the whole process. Erin was so flexible with us as we stopped in to see updates, requested information, and made our plans. She was willing to help with anything I needed even leading up to the wedding day. I didn't have to worry about a THING on our wedding day because I knew their team was taking care of all the little details. I couldn't be happier with our wedding and I just can't say thank you enough to Erin and Chad for giving us such a beautiful location and smooth celebration!

They were accommodating to our every request and desire. They were so helpful and service-oriented during the whole process. We loved having out wedding there. The bridal suite is beautiful, everything sparkles. The groom's room is an awesome place for the gentlemen to relax and prepare. They thought of so many special touches at the estate that made our wedding magical! We were so thankful we could be part of their inaugural year!

Just celebrated my beautiful Sister & her husband at their August wedding at the Bluestone. The bridal suite was gorgeous and offered everything we needed from a small kitchen, to a full bath including shower. The basement made for an amazing cocktail space which also featured our photo booth. My sister was over the moon and we were all comfortable from beginning to end. I was 7 months pregnant and Erin even offered to drive me in the Bluestone Golf cart to take pictures with the bridal party so I didn’t fall or go into labor early. She even brought me and the rest of the bridal party hors d'oeuvres. My only caveat would be to eventually pave the parking lot but everything else was 5 star !

I can’t say enough about Bluestone Estates. Erin and Chad made our wedding day absolutely perfect. The venue is spacious, charming, and elegant. The natural light and open vistas really emphasized the room. The main room features an intricate, open-structure with close attention to details. The lower support spaces are very accommodating. The groomsmen room is incredible, and made the morning before the ceremony so much more relaxing and less hectic. The patio is perfect for cocktails and horderves with family and friends. You will truly not be disappointed. We could not have asked for anything more. I was getting positive comments from friends months after the ceremony.

Cannot say enough about this AMAZING venue and the owners! They made our wedding day so very special! It is a beautiful venue all around and Erin and Chad were amazing hosts! HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT BLUESTONE! No question about it-- it will be the best decision you make. We got married there just a few weeks ago and it was the most beautiful backdrop for our special day. Everywhere you turn there are beautiful vistas. You feel like you are secluded away in a special green space and your wedding is the only thing going on in the world. The interior is so architecturally appealing and tastefully appointed that it is beautiful without any added decor. The bride's room and the groom's lounge were so comfortable and gave us all we needed to be comfortable all day as we were getting ready. Erin, Chad and their team made everything so easy throughout the process and on the day of. I can't recommend this venue strongly enough! (other vendors used: Petals with Style-Florist, La Bella Sposa- Hair/Makeup, Lindsay Eileen Photography) Sidenote- we had our room block at the Lancaster Marriott and wouldn't recommend that. Their check-in time is super late (4pm) and doesn't jive with the venue times unless you don't plan to use all the time you pay for at the venue. The hotel isn't accommodating/flexible. Save yourself the stress.

I was so curious when I heard Bluestone Estates was opening, that I drove past when renovations of the historic barn were being done. As I expected, it is breath taking. Every detail was thought of. I flew over from the UK to help my niece Rachel prepare for her wedding which was at Bluestone Estate. As an experienced events planner here in UK I have to say that this venue is the most romantic and beautiful place for a wedding that I have ever encountered. The outlook from the rebuilt Barn over the lake will be truly amazing and along with the beautiful gardens provide the perfect backdrop for the romance of the occasion. Erin and Chad seem to have thought about every detail in the rebuild of The Barn to meet all the needs of a wedding party with Bride and Groom rooms, a large catering area and even a sitting area for us oldies! The Barn itself looks stunning with its beautiful beams, large windows, cathedral ceilings and exposed brickwork as well as an outside area to watch those huge butterflies and at night the magic fireflies! The owners were incredibly generous with accommodating all our needs to make the occasion so memorable for Rachel and Hao and I would unreservedly recommend booking this venue for a wedding.

Meet the Bluestone Estate Team
Chad & Erin Vinelli (Owner) In 2007, my husband and I began our lives together at this beautiful estate. The private, stunning venue served as the perfect backdrop for our wedding and was uniquely special as I was born and raised on this farm. In 2016, we began to explore rebuilding the barn so we could share this romantic property with others. In August 2017, that idea came to fruition. This project is very near and dear to our hearts and no detail has been overlooked. It is a true labor of love. We cannot wait to share Bluestone Estate with others and help create memories that last a lifetime.
