Elizabeth Zeigler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-11-2020 I honestly don't know how this venue doesn't have more reviews. It is truly a hidden gem. We hosted our wedding at Blythewood and were so happy we did! The house and grounds are a beautiful backdrop for any event. The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding was outstanding! Trish is so kind and such an amazing cook! We were able to host our whole bridal party, parents, and us (20 people) in the house and guest house for the weekend, which made the weekend run smoothly. It was perfect to be able to separate the groomsmen and groom from the rest of the bridal party in the guest house. We were able to decorate and set up the night before, and didn't have to coordinate everyone arriving to get ready. Ipha is very helpful and flexible and our wedding was exactly how we dreamed it would be. She gave recommendations for table rentals for the grounds and also helped us book a DJ for the evening. Our guests raved about the atmosphere, food, and the beautiful property. Also, in the age of COVID-19, all the staff took precautions and social distancing very seriously, which made us feel at ease. They also provided hand sanitizer and gloves for serving food and drinks. Reviewed on 28-11-2020
Rainee Dunham(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2019 My sons wedding was a magical chilly evening at Blythewood Nov. 2, 2019. I loved seeing them dancing under the big oak tree, on the outdoor dance floor. The atmosphere was amazing with some of the guests watching those on the dance floor from the front gallery, while others enjoyed warming up inside, having coffee and hot chocolate in the parlors, and great hall. All of the kids had a great time playing on the front lawn. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about the Swamp Jambalaya and crawfish bisque. We loved having “wedding weekend”. We arrived at Blythewood Friday evening. We were able to bring in all of the decor, have our rehearsal dinner and relax before the big day. The wedding party and close family booked every room at Blythewood, while overflow guests stayed nearby at local hotels the next morning, we had plenty of time to get dressed before the big moment We also had plenty of time to gather all of our belongings and wedding decor before checking out on Sunday. While there are plenty of new venues popping up everywhere lately., nothing can match the true southern charm like a setting such as Blythewood Plantation. I’ll always cherish the picturesque photos, and unforgettable memories made the weekend. ♥️ Reviewed on 14-01-2020

Alicia Doland(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2015 We had our wedding their earlier this month and it was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I are both from out of state and were able to stay in the plantation as was our parents and some of the bridal party, which was really awesome since we have so many out of town guests! They also did the catering and we got a ton of compliments on how delicious the food was. Reviewed on 16-10-2015
