Located in stunning Lake in the Hills, IL we pride ourselves on being the premier event space in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Our ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests, no matter the size we host only one wedding at a time so our event team can give their exclusive attention to you on your special day. We got married at Boulder Ridge Country Club in July 2023. It was a dream and our day went perfectly according to plan. Gianna and Sara guided us through the whole wedding planning process and were so responsive to our needs! They did an awesome job coordinating with our vendors and rounding up our crazy bridal party. I felt so comfortable the day of our wedding thanks to their help in planning and their keen eye for detail. Not to mention, there were various things that were thrown in at no cost to us that many other venues in my search would nickel and dime us for.The grounds, food, and service were also great at Boulder Ridge and really contributed to the making of our perfect day! The beautiful ivy and scenic greens in the backdrop made our wedding photos pop with color. The outdoor patio was also a hit and the perfect place for guests to grab some fresh air and relax! I also got ready in the bridal 'ready' room where we were served lunch and mimosas. From start to finish, all of our needs were met and exceeded all our expectations! We highly recommend getting married here if you want a seamless wedding! The only complaint I have is the day went way too fast!

We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Boulder Ridge! From the first day we toured it, we knew we had to have them host our big day. To begin, it is a gorgeous venue! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so we had our ceremony outside. The cocktail hour and reception were in the ballroom, but there is a great patio/balcony space outside that our guests were able to enjoy as well. It was nice for guests to be able to step out for some fresh air without feeling like they were missing anything. We primarily worked with Gianna for the planning of our big day and she was delightful! She was always quick to respond to any questions we had and really made us feel supported throughout the whole planning process. Since our big day we have heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests. The food was delicious, bar lines were fast, and all of the staff working were kind and attentive. We can’t thank Boulder Ridge enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!

BRCC went above and beyond in helping me and my husband create the best day for us. Boulder Ridge Country Club made all of our wedding dreams come true! Everything from our first walk through all the way to our last dance of our wedding night was wonderful! Gianna was always quick to respond and made sure all of our questions were answered and addressed asap. She always went above and beyond to make all of our requests happen. She is incredible at her job and it's obvious how much she cares about the events she is helping coordinate. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I used the bridal suite to get ready before our ceremony and the staff made sure my bridesmaids and I had everything we could need. They were even able to provide items we had forgotten (i.e. extension cords). We are incredibly happy that we found Boulder Ridge Country Club and would HIGHLY recommend having your event there!! I had never planned an event for 160 people before and Gianna made it so easy. There is not a single complaint to be made about the venue, packages, or planning process at Boulder Ridge.

My husband and I got married at BRCC 8/12/23! It was a beautiful sunny day and everything went smooth (and if things didn’t, this bride wasn’t aware!). We worked closely with Sara & Gianna, as well as our own wedding planner who is a close friend of ours. Sara and Gianna worked with us to stay within budget, and make sure we got everything we needed. Our drinks were never empty, the service team was astounding!!! The food was delicious, I wish I had more of an appetite! My hubby and I both had the gorgonzola chicken with herb linguine and carrots, but we also offered our guests the 12oz pork chop, which was also a hit!! We received so many compliments from guests about the food, as well as the CAKE! Let’s talk about the cake! BRCC works with a local bakery to include the wedding cake in the all-inclusive cost!!! This saved us so much money, and the cake was the best I’ve ever had! So many guests complimented the cake and said they wished they had more! Boulder Ridge is a BEAUTIFUL venue, and they made every effort for us on our big day. Definitely recommend!

I actually give Boulder Ridge 5+ stars because they went way above and beyond to give me my dream wedding! 🤍Sara and Gianna are the absolute best!From start to finish, they accommodated my every request…down to every little detail, including a sparkle send-off in the rain lol Because they handled so much, there was no need for a wedding planner because they helped me navigate every step of the wedding planning process, which is invaluable! I had always dreamed of an outdoor wedding ceremony, which is what drew my husband and I to Boulder Ridge. Once we walked in we were sold..the views and photo ops are absolutely breathtaking and it had everything we wanted, especially that we could have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all right there.My wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Sara and Gianna. Unfortunately it rained and we were unable to have an outdoor ceremony. They both knew how disappointing it was for me and quickly turned around the ballroom to accommodate an indoor ceremony and dealt with moving all our guests so seamlessly and also allowed us to take pictures outside until the very last minute before the skies opened up!I decided to opt for the bridal suite for my girls and I to get ready and it was the best decision! Both my hairstylist and makeup artist had plenty of room to take care of us all, plus we had food and drinks the entire time. It’s an amazing service they offer, plus the pictures turned out beautiful in that room.My guests are still talking about our wedding…the food, the cake, the venue, everything! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day. Huge thanks to Sara and Gianna! 🥂

My husband and I absolutely loved Boulder Ridge! We had our ceremony and reception there September of 2022. The grounds were perfect for pictures - so many different backgrounds to work with! Gianna was amazing. She was very friendly, organized, and made the whole planning process super easy. Sara and the rest of the staff working our wedding were also great!The food was also amazing. We had a few appetizers during cocktail hour that all of our guests loved. The guests also couldn’t stop raving about the meal. We had them choose between chicken, beef, & a vegan option and all three were delicious! The bar set up made it easy to get drinks and avoid long lines.The reception area was definitely spacious enough for everyone (we had about 180 people). The deck was perfect for getting fresh air or enjoying a cigar during the night. It’s very large and we had lots of people going between it and the dance floor.Overall we loved this venue and definitely recommend it!

They were simply wonderful to work with from beginning to end and helped to make our daughter’s wedding one to remember. Boulder Ridge’s ballroom and outdoor patio area are beautiful and inviting; the menus and drinks are outstanding; and the value is exceptional. Once we decided to go with Boulder Ridge, Gianna and Sara always answered our (many) questions and let us come to the venue when I wanted to see things in person to visualize our big day. We couldn't have asked for better coordinators; throughout the whole process they were there for us, were always eager to help us out, and were always super nice and welcoming. Boulder ridge is everything and more! Gianna and Sarah were so nice , professional , attentive to a brides needs , and easy to work with. This venue is not just beautiful , but I would say all inclusive. It is hard to find a reasonable venue that offers everything. The food is delicious and serving staff was great as well. There was a change in ownership of the club while we were in the process of planning our wedding and Gianna and Sarah handled everything perfectly and definitely made me feel comfortable with the transition between owners. While the prices looked a little expensive upfront, the package included everything that we needed with no add-ons that seem to get really expensive really fast at a lot of other places we looked at. We brought both parents of groom and parents of bride to the tasting and it was only an extra $100 when we did it. It was nice to get everyone's opinion on the food and get to see the place again. The food was good and the drinks were poured strong, just a warning on that! There were also some beautiful places to take photos with fall colors.

Sara and Gianna did an amazing job with our wedding. Boulder was great to work with during COVID rescheduling. The value for your money at Boulder is unmatched in the area. They literally take care of everything! Boulder has a great reputation in the area, as we were booking our other vendors, all of them loved working at Boulder. All of our guests were raving about the food and the bar package is great! Sara did a great job of helping us bring our personalized vision to life. There wasn’t any detail that was too big of an ask for them! Our wedding was well worth the wait at Boulder!

What an absolutely seamless transition and amazing preparation the staff at Boulder Ridge made for our wedding! The new event planners at the club (Sara and Gianna) did an absolutely awesome job in addressing the plans, concerns and arrangements for our wedding day. They did everything we had requested and so much more. Working with them was easy and their follow up and suggestions were excellent. The room looked stunning and the servers and banquet manager did a wonderful job. We had many guests raving about the delicious food. There were many picturesque locations for photography. All in all, it couldn’t have been a better day! Thank you so much.

Where to begin! Boulder Ridge Country Club was incredible to work with in planning our August 2021 wedding and were so accommodating when we initially decided to postpone from August 2020 to August 2021. During our planning Boulder Ridge hired a new Private Events Director and Coordinator ... Sara and Gianna did not miss a beat and got right up to speed! I really appreciated the attention to detail and many suggestions Sara provided as we coordinated the logistics of the reception. The food, drink, cake and everything was incredible and we could not have had a more perfect day! Our guests are still raving about the wedding.

My Husband and I just had our wedding on 08/17/2019 at Boulder Ridge and IT WAS AMAZING!!! Janet is nothing short of amazing and the exact person I needed to make my wedding day perfect. From the special requests, to the details about our tables, to every detail I am sure I would have forgotten had it not been for her, it was perfect. The staff did so well with everything that happened. Their venue is beautiful for rain or shine and for our wedding it did rain just one hour prior to our start. They moved it all inside the ballroom and set it up as if we had it planned in there. I had many guests tell me they actually though it was meant to be in there for how beautiful it looked. In no time it all they changed over the room and the cocktail hour was set in what seemed like 5 minutes. I was still able to capture beautiful pictures because there grounds are stunning! If you want a stress free amazing time on your wedding day look no further. I would do another event at boulder ridge hands down. The staff are incredibly professional, our bartenders and servers were so nice and had our food covered for us during our dinner time (yes we did eat our wedding WOW! food WAS AWESOME!) Sweets table was endless and so tasty! I can't say enough wonderful things! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! What a day!Kelly & Daniel Gault

I cannot say enough about how amazing Boulder Ridge was with our wedding. Janet, the wedding coordinator there, was absolutely fantastic. I had absolutely no stress when it came down to the day of because Janet was there making sure everything was perfect. The other staff that assisted the day of was beyond helpful. They made sure that all of the guests were satisfied throughout the reception and cocktail hour when it came to food and drinks. The guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was! The venue itself its just beautiful, I hardly had to bring in extra decorations. There is nothing else that I could have asked for in order for our wedding day to turn out better than it did. Having my wedding reception at Boulder Ridge was always a dream of mine, but I had no idea just how incredible it would really be. I have to give a huge thank you to Janet for making my reception even better than I could have ever imagined. She works extremely hard to make sure you are happy with all decisions and does a beautiful job!! From day one my husband and I were sold after having one conversation with Janet. She is very gifted and amazing at what she does!! Boulder Ridge is a beautiful place to have your wedding ceremony/ reception and anyone that visits there will see that, but what truly made our wedding day perfect was Janet, Ricardo, Star and all of the other staff. We can't thank you enough!! Another thing to add is that the food is amazing and the wedding package is incomparable!!

Boulder Ridge was a fantastic venue to work with. Janet was professional and helpful throughout the entire process and the room looked exactly as I had wanted on the day of. My only complaint was that I was occasionally surprised by Janet's approach. For example, I brought my parents to a meeting and she seemed surprised (they were paying after all) they were there. She made me feel as though they were a burden during the meeting, I even had to suggest bringing in chairs for them at the meeting rather than have them stand.

I would suggest any bride to work with Boulder Ridge for their future wedding. Janet was so easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect for our day. The food was also amazing. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food and drinks. Being that we wanted a party, the bar was important to us. It was so nice to have such a large selection of drinks and not have to worry about tier prices. I could not imagine having our reception anywhere else. You also can't beat the beautiful locations for your pictures.

I would suggest any bride to work with Boulder Ridge for their future wedding. Janet was so easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect for our day. The food was also amazing. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food and drinks. Being that we wanted a party, the bar was important to us. Janet Logan has provided wedding service for many years and answered questions we didn't even know to ask. Their packages include many things that others charge extra for, so made our budgeting much easier. The food is FANTASTIC and many of our guests have commented since then about how good it was. The staff was very attentive and friendly, which made the evening extra special.\rThe outside venue made for beautiful pictures, since my daughters wedding was in May and all of the trees were in bloom. Golf carts were provided for the wedding party for pictures and there was valet service for parking of cars.\rWe would definitely use them again! They made the day perfect!

My husband and I wanted a quality wedding at an affordable cost and we got more than we expected at Boulder Ridge Country Club. We had an afternoon wedding ceremony on their beautiful veranda that overlooks the golf course, pond, and neighboring homes--and the view and feel were just breathtaking. It really contributed to the romantic feel I wanted our wedding to have. We didn't hire a wedding coordinator, but honestly, I didn't need one because Janet Logan, the catering director, steered me in the right direction. During the early stages of wedding planning she gave me great suggestions and provided ideas that I would've never known to consider. What topped it off for me was the fact that she was THERE, available, active, and engaged the entire time. She quickly problem solved when the DJ I contracted screwed up our wedding ceremony music, and then she took it upon herself to fix my bridal gown train as I entered the aisle with my dad (it's the small things that count!). But the best thing about Boulder Ridge is that (just like the other reviews say) they're not only a beautiful venue but they offer truly professional, attentive, and caring service. My husband and I were FLOORED during the reception! We sat back enjoying our delicious Chicken Oscar, and saw how attentive the wait staff were. We go out A LOT and we've never been this pleased with the service. The waitstaff, the bartender, and the catering manager were all great at what they do. I was happy, my husband was happy, and most of all our guests were happy. Matter of fact, they were so happy that it made their 80 minute drive to the venue worthwhile (we all live in Chicago).\r\rI truly recommend this venue and I'm very thankful for all that they did for us. I know that it's what they get paid to do, but many places get paid to offer the same services and they fall severely short of being quality service providers. \r\rIf you are not convinced with the videos and pictures you see on their website, visit them in person and you'll be immediately sold. Trust me!

During the early stages of wedding planning she gave me great suggestions and provided ideas that I would've never known to consider. What topped it off for me was the fact that she was THERE, available, active, and engaged the entire time. She quickly problem solved when the DJ I contracted screwed up our wedding ceremony music, and then she took it upon herself to fix my bridal gown train as I entered the aisle with my dad (it's the small things that count!). But the best thing about Boulder Ridge is that (just like the other reviews say) they're not only a beautiful venue but they offer truly professional, attentive, and caring service. My husband and I were FLOORED during the reception! We sat back enjoying our delicious Chicken Oscar, and saw how attentive the wait staff were. We go out A LOT and we've never been this pleased with the service. The waitstaff, the bartender, and the catering manager were all great at what they do. I was happy, my husband was happy, and most of all our guests were happy. Matter of fact, they were so happy that it made their 80 minute drive to the venue worthwhile (we all live in Chicago).\r\rI truly recommend this venue and I'm very thankful for all that they did for us. I know that it's what they get paid to do, but many places get paid to offer the same services and they fall severely short of being quality service providers. \r\rIf you are not convinced with the videos and pictures you see on their website, visit them in person and you'll be immediately sold. Trust me!

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at Boulder Ridge Country Club. Everything was absolutely amazing! Janet was easy to work with and very patient and responsive to all of our requests while planning. The day of the wedding was perfect! We had an outdoor ceremony and were impressed with the grounds and beautiful stone archways. The food was excellent (prime rib & grecian chicken) and the waitstaff was attentive and polite. We felt we were in good hands with Janet and we could enjoy ourselves during the reception. Our guests enjoyed the veranda outside during cocktail hour and the room was more than big enough for our guest list of 150 people. We were very happy with Boulder Ridge as our wedding venue. We Highly recommend Boulder Ridge Country Club!

Boulder Ridge Country Club made my wedding perfect! The service is superb, food was delicious and served warm, the venue was absolutely beautiful! So many great spots to take pictures at. My now husband and I held our wedding at Boulder Ridge on 9/14, and I could not be happier with the way everything went! If anything went wrong at all, I definitely didn't notice, and had an absolute blast.\r\rThroughout the entire planning process, the team at Boulder Ridge was super helpful. The coordinator (Janet) was readily available for questions and made sure to keep everything moving along smoothly. She also worked with all my other vendors on coordination so everyone was on the same page and I wasn't the middle man :)\r\rThe day-of ran without a hitch. The ceremony site (the outdoor patio) and the reception room were both set up perfectly and were absolutely beautiful. Throughout cocktail hour and dinner the staff was super attentive to all the guests, and the food was delcious. And, we got more than one compliment on the bar selection. \r\rI would strongly recommend Boulder Ridge to anyone looking for a beautiful and classic setting to host a wedding event! \r\rThank you so much Janet and the rest of the staff at Boulder Ridge Country Club!

I have read some reviews by other brides about how pricey this venue is, but we saved a lot by having our wedding on a Sunday afternoon!!! It's a venue that will impress your friends and family - but most importantly, you'll feel like a King and Queen on your special day!! We had such a good time at Boulder Ridge, we didn't want it to end! We kept saying to each other how absolutely beautiful it was. We'd do it again in a heartbeat :)

We could not have asked for anything better on our wedding day! Working with Janet was so easy! She is incredibly friendly and you could tell she was very invested in making sure your day was wonderful. The reception site is beautiful. I got married on October 23rd and had my reception at the Boulder Ridge Country Club. We had around 200 guests, and I think the staff did an EXCELLENT job making sure the room was prepared and catering to our guests. The food was wonderful, and great portion sizes. We also had a late night nacho bar which was a huge hit of the evening. I was very impressed with the amount of toppings for the nacho bar and the quality of all the food. Plus, the staff was always on hand to ensure the head table had everything they needed and to monitor the room to see plates that needed to be cleared, etc. I know we got some great pictures on the grounds and in the lobby. The reception hall is just beautiful, and I love that there is only one wedding a night. I did not have to worry about the chance that guests from another wedding would crash our party. Plus the decorations were just gorgeous! Everything was set up so beautifully to make the night picture perfect! I would recommend Bould Ridge Country Club to anyone!!

Sara Gilmore (Events Director) First of all congratulations on your engagement!I love weddings so much that two days after my wedding I started a new job as a wedding planner!! There I learned so much and wished I could do my wedding all over again but instead I focused on sharing those experiences with my couples. I have been planning events since high school but at resorts and clubs for 12 years. My passion is in encouraging each couple to bring creative elements to their day, something that speaks to them.
