Rustic Elegance With All The Modern Conveniences
Bowing Oaks is nestled on five acres in south Jacksonville, just minutes from shops, restaurants, hotels and major highways. Designed specifically for wedding, the property features two picturesque ceremony sites, two spacious dressing rooms for the wedding party, and an air conditioned ballroom seating up to 200 guests. Rental of the venue includes banquet tables, chiavari chairs and ceremony chairs, plus romantic draping, uplighting and crystal chandeliers in the ballroom. Bowing Oaks only hosts one wedding per day, so you can relax and enjoy the day!

Our. Literal. Dream. Wedding. Thanks to Bowing Oaks! This venue was the most beautiful combination of outdoors and indoors for our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception here and we would not have it any other way. Heather gave us our first tour at Bowing and the venue could have every possible thing you would need available for your wedding from getting ready rooms, a huge parking lot, a full kitchen, nice bathrooms, beautiful draping inside, tables and chairs, and so so much more. You have the option to get married under the giant oak tree or pavilion and we utilized the tree for pictures, but turned the pavilion into a dreamy set up with draping. The venue did not disappoint and our guests raved about it after the perfect November day we tied the knot this year. You do have to work off of their list of approved vendors for catering and wedding coordinators, but the options do not disappoint. We were extremely happy with how everything turned out and we wish we could relive our wedding day at Bowing.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We picked a venue that suited us. Heather was very accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. We were given a list of vendors and honestly that helped us so much. It rained on our wedding day and we had to decide which location on property we were going to go with for the ceremony. Heather and David were great with moving our ceremony the day of! Heather also thought of ideas that I didn’t think of when moving items. It honestly turned out perfect and I wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Bowing Oaks was the absolute most beautiful venue I could have ever dreamed of. The second we walked into the grounds to do the tour I knew I was going to get married there. I knew I always wanted to get married under an oak tree and I was worried about getting married in February and the tree being barren, but no matter what month it is, the oak tree looks absolutely breath-taking. Heather was a pleasure to work with through our time planning the wedding and every single guest came up to us just to tell us how much they loved the venue.

Venue is beyond beautiful and staff was very helpful day of. Heather responds quickly to emails and phone calls which was appreciated. Our guests loved the fire pit (smores were our favors so they could roast them there) and the fact that they had a quiet courtyard to escape the music if they didnt feel like dancing!

Bowing Oaks made recommendations to us from the Wedding Coordinator to the catering. All were excellent. Absolutely amazing venue and people. The trees, swing and patio's are just perfect. Decor in bridal and groom suites is on point and the outside areas are beautiful. Venue manager was super kind as well. I believe there was a grounds / venue manager on site the morning of the wedding whom was super helpful. We had approximately 120 total friends and family attend all of whom gave raving reviews as well. Thank you to the entire Bowing Oaks family.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue! Heather, the event manager, was phenomenal to work with...quick to respond to emails and answered all of my millions of questions! I had the opportunity to meet the owner of the property as well and he was a delight to speak with. The bridal suite had great lighting for your makeup and hair stylists, the groom's room has a huge tv and pool table for the boys to kick back and relax while waiting on the ladies :) Definitely a wonderful venue if you are looking for to have your ceremony and reception in the same place!

Fantastic venue for a wedding. have worked as a coordinator here and the staff is always fantastic! The venue is beautiful and can be tailored to a couple's vision with some details. Perfect for small weddings offering outdoor and indoor space.

I knew from the first time I saw this venue that it would be the one for us. I am so thankful for everyone at Bowing Oaks, they truly created a magical backdrop to our special day. From the bride and groom getting ready suites, to the huge outdoor patio, spacious covered porch areas, and gorgeous oak tree, everything was perfect. Even though it rained for a few minutes on our day, the covered porch kept everything dry and the patio pavers actually dried up very quickly and were dry by the time cocktail hour started. Bowing Oaks was a dream! We loved the outdoor/indoor spaces so much and were receiving compliments on it all night long. I love the stringed lights outside, they made for a very romantic setting. Bowing Oaks also provided a list of preferred vendors which made the planning process easy and effortless. Heather especially was very professional to work with, she helped with our final walk through in planning all of the little details and table arrangements. They even reduced our price due to not needing the space for the rehearsal or wedding ceremony. The location could not be beat, it was extremely close to our church and hotel where most of our family/friends were staying. Thank you so much for everything!

This venue was beyond perfect for our wedding. The oak tree alone will have you falling in love! There is a chapel as well for an alternate ceremony location or if it rains as a plan B. The bride and groom suites were insane and such a nice space for each bridal party to hang out in and relax the day of. They have an inventory of items that can be rented out, which was so helpful for some last minute decor we didn’t want to bring up or forgot. The tree swing and outside fire pit were some added features we loved and the guests enjoyed too during cocktail hour and reception. The reception hall is absolutely gorgeous and the chandelier’s at the top just give it such an elegant look! Heather was a pleasure to work with and even asked the owner some special requests that we had and they were all a yes! I can’t say enough about this venue, except I want to do it all over again and it’s only been a month. You will definitely not find another venue like this one!
