My husband and I had our wedding reception here in 2019, and I just hosted my sister-in-law's bridal shower (2022) in one of their smaller rooms. Wonderful staff, tasty food, great views, clean venue, good parking, very reasonable price for what you get! The golf course manager even took us out on the golf carts to get photos around the course! Beautiful!!!! Highly recommend!

After planning weddings for 2 daughters in rural MN in the past, I was quite surprised at the prices that faced me when our 3rd daughter wanted her wedding in the metro area. I researched many venues for the reception and made contact with about 25 of them. It was very disheartening. We were on a budget that couldn't be stretched.I can't begin to tell you the thrill I had when I found Braemar Golf Course. The price was so reasonable. Incredibly reasonable. So reasonable that I expected very little of the place. We stopped in for an unscheduled visit and we were blown away. The room itself is beautiful. There are 2 walls of nearly all glass that overlook established trees. There's a deck that runs the full length of the building. It was PERFECT!We met with Amy, the Business Manager. She is so flexible, professional, and easy to work with. She often said \"we can do that for you\". I feared that each offer would be adding to our price tag but it was all part of the rental. Amy and her team were so accommodating and helpful!Braemar has a list of approved caterers. My first call was to \"Affordable Best Catering\". What a great decision! Wade was so wonderful to work with and the food was delicious! Many guests commented on the excellent meal.I HIGHLY recommend Braemar Golf Course and Affordable Best Catering!!!!

\rAmy, Christine and the staff were very helpful for our daughter's wedding and reception. Everything went smooth as glass! Amy was very helpful with the planning, the set up crew was competent and friendly and Christine was great during the reception and knew just when and what to suggest to us as we transitioned from one thing to another. The Tin Fish staff provided bar service and was also experienced and friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Braemar was a great value for a venue, and all the staff was incredibly helpful and organized! Working with Amy was so easy; she took care of all the little details. Was a little skeptical regarding the look of the room, but everything turned out beautifully with a few decorations! There is also a very nice outside space if it's a nice day. A few things to note: you can't serve hard liquor, and you can't sell liquor, since it's part of the parks department. We hosted beer and wine for everyone, which turned out well for us and wasn't a problem at all (you can also have champagne).

Everything about our experience with Braemar was great. Amy was great to work with. She was very organized and very thorough in answering any questions I had. Initially, I was a little put off by the price of the venue but Amy and her staff really do a lot of coordinating for you prior to the wedding and the day of so I really feel like it was worth it. The room itself was really nice with lots of windows and 2 patios overlooking the greens available for our use. The dance floor is a little small but that did not seem to bother or dissuade anyone from dancing all night long!

I wasn't sold on the idea of Braemar until I went and met with Amy. She really bends over backwards to accomodate your needs. The golf course is a gorgeous setting and the room really can transformed to fit my decor. The staff is great and this venue is very affordable.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Braemar. The staff was so helpful and flexible, and the view was beautiful for a fall wedding. (It would be beautiful for other times of year too). Plenty of parking, seats up to 200 plus the rental includes a lovely outdoor patio area.

I’ve worked with thousands of clients over the years and I pride myself on a keen (some might say obsessive) eye for detail. I think most clients want an event planner who has a touch of obsession for detail and getting things right.
