Beautiful wedding venue in East Central Minnesota
Surrounded by fields and forests, the Braham Event Center is a modern banquet hall with rustic decor on the outside and a modern, open floor plan on the inside. Our main feature is our large window with a view to beautiful birch trees, perfect for ceremonies in addition to receptions. The center can host parties of up to 400 people, with a large lobby and a library which serves as the bridal suite. Our on-site caterer, Kathyâs Kitchen, provides delicious and affordable meals. Kathy's Kitchen specializes in cooking from scratch and we enjoy the chance to customize to fit a price point or a favorite meal or side dish. The Braham Event Center is located one hour north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, just off Highway 65 on the outskirts of Braham, Minnesota, minutes away from Pine City, Rush City, Mora, and Cambridge, and is conveniently located between Duluth and the Twin Cities.

Both the Event Coordinator Kelly and the volunteers at the Braham Event Center were dedicated to making our experience great! They were helpful with planning as well as with anything we asked for on our wedding day! We used Kathy's Kitchen for catering and found them to be professional and accommodating as well. All of our guests had wonderful things to say about their food and service! We highly recommend them and feel our experience was incredible!

Kelly and the staff at the Braham Event Center were beyond amazing to work with! The event center is beautiful to start with but having the creative freedom, access to amazing local vendors, and the amazing volunteer staff, your day will truly one of the best and easiest days for both you and your guests.

Kelly and the staff at the Braham Event Center were beyond amazing to work with! I cannot say enough good things about Kelly and her team. We chose the venue for the big beautiful windows! And weâre so glad we did! On our wedding day they were so helpful! Everything was done beautifully! Everyone LOVED the food, which was Kathyâs Kitchen. The staff was so amazing at making sure the dessert table was never empty. It was such a relief to have them all there! We are so thankful for Kelly and her staff and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Everything about working with Kelly at the event center was warm, pleasant, personal and kind. I got the pleasure to get to know Kelly while planning our wedding. Kelly and all the volunteers at the Braham Event Center played an amazing part in making our special day absolutely perfect. These people are absolutely AMAZING!We looked at multiple venues before finally settling on the Braham Event Center and it was absolutely beautiful, clean and wonderful all for a very reasonable price. I thank Kelly and all the volunteers so much for making our special day absolutely perfect. The bridal suite was wonderful for getting ready with my sisters, mother and mother in law. They even equipped it with plenty of tables and a mirror (which I did not think of til I arrived on my wedding day!) The grooms room was perfect for my husband and his brother in laws to get ready in. When I first arrived in the morning, thatâs when I met Butch, one of the amazing volunteers. He was even so kind to help me carry in all the boxes I had for decorations. He also provided me with all the materials I would have needed to get everything ready in the reception area.This venue is so beautiful. The outside is the perfect mix of modern yet has a rustic barn feel to it. Everything inside is new, nice, and clean. I absolutely loved the big giant window that we had our ceremony in front of. The views out the window were beautiful and looked out to wonderful birch trees that were just changing colors for our beautiful fall wedding day. The volunteers made sure that the table switch from the ceremony to the reception was quick, easy and simple. The volunteers did a wonderful job cooking the pasta dinner for our first meal. The food was amazing and the volunteers were so kind to serve everyone, even though it was a buffet style dinner. Sam from the pizza pub was very easy to chat with about how we wanted the bar for our wedding. He brought our kegs right away in the morning and set up the bar for us. He also sent out two amazing bartenders, Becky and Brian, that treated our guests amazing and got them everything they could.Yvonne from encore events did an AMAZING job having the drapery in the event hall. She left and provided us with table cloths and napkins for all our guests. She made sure I knew what to do with them at the end of the night. Her set ups are so beautiful and I would highly recommend saying yes to the drapery! Our wedding day went so smooth, and we didnât have any hiccups and I know this was partially due to the amazing work that the Braham Event Center does. We are so thankful that we chose them for our special day. We couldnât have asked for a better day! GO CHECK THEM OUT â¤ď¸

My experience working with The Braham Event Center team has been fantastic. My wedding day turned out absolutely gorgeous and I got so much help from all of the volunteers and staff throughout the day. When things didn't go according to plan, like missing batteries or silverware, they offered what they had on hand proptly and absolutely saved the day. They are an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything go so smoothly. I cannot thank them enough!

Kelly and the team at Braham Event Center are AMAZING! My husband Grant and I got married and had our reception there last June and it was a great venue! The food was amazing (we had the champagne chicken) and Kelly was so wonderful in helping us make sure the day was the best that it could be. This venue was also very affordable and accommodated our 250 guests very well.

We LOVED our experience with BEC! We have nothing but great things to say about Kelly and the staff there! Kelly always responded quickly and in great detail. The volunteers were wonderful and our guest had great interactions with them. The only \"issue\" we had was that we had to get permission from a board on multiple things- all were okay with what we were asking- but it was pretty nerve-wrecking that we wouldn't be allowed to do some things. We catered through them and got many compliments on our food as well! The cost is very affordable and they provide lots of \"add-ons\" for a small cost compared to many other venues! We have so many great things to say about the Braham Event Center!

I cannot recommend Braham Event Center enough if you're thinking of hosting an event. Everyone was helpful, kind, and seemed to genuinely want to help us. No matter how many random questions I threw their way, they were always willing to respond and make sure that our event was as perfect as possible. We ultimately decided to go with another venue closer to the Twin Cities metro, but I wanted to share that Braham Event Center is an incredible wedding venue and Kelly, the Event Coordinator, was just awesome to work with as we were touring venues. She is prompt and attentive in answering all questions and providing helpful information, and her diligence really shows in the beautiful weddings that have been held there! Additionally, we met some of the volunteers while touring and they were so kind and attentive as well - you can tell the community really values the Event Center. While we didn't ultimately go there, I wanted to share the positive experience I had with Kelly and the Braham Event Center. I'm sure any couple would have a wonderful event here.

I am so thankful I discovered Braham Event Center while searching for a wedding venue! My wedding was in September 2021, and I couldnât have asked for a better experience with a venue. Kelly, the coordinator, was very helpful and communicative, and all the volunteers were lovely as well. Thereâs plenty of space, great spots outside to get beautiful photos, and super convenient on-site catering (you can bring in your own catering if you prefer to, but I highly recommend the on-site catering because it took so much stress out of the planning process for me).I honestly canât think of a single complaint about the center or anyone I interacted with throughout the whole planning process and the wedding day. To any future Minnesota brides reading this, I 100% recommend Braham Event Center for your big day!

Wonderful venue, great staff and volunteers. Such a nice place to work with, the beautiful view from the big window made the atmosphere so peaceful and calming. The volunteers that help serve food were amazing! I highly recommend this place!

This venue is seriously amazing! Itâs a gold nugget in a cute small town north of Cambridge, MN. The venue coordinator is so helpful answering questions and working with us on everything! All the guests at our wedding loved the food we had (we chose to go with the caterer through the venue). Amazing price for what you get for the venue! Love love love! Highly recommend.

Kelly and the entire team at the Braham Event Center were absolutely amazing. They did such a great job helping us set up the venue. Despite all the COVID changes, we were still able to have our wedding and it was amazing! The food was excellent! The entire venue was perfect for our friends and family that could come. Communication was great from day one and they were flexible, and on top of everything!

Kelly is amazing to work with, very flexible, and very responsive. Even with COVID going on they worked with us on how we could make our wedding everything we were wanting. We went through them for our catering also and they had excellent servers and it was very delicious!

Braham Event Center was a magical place for a New Years Eve wedding. The venue had the white lights and trees up from Christmas, but had the opportunity to not have the trees. Staff were very flexible and stress free. Behind the alter area there is a wall that is all window with Beautiful trees outside and the light snow helped the ambience. Appetizers, dance and D J made this a very special evening for all.

I donât even know where to start! All of the staff were SO amazing through all of the planning and small details, and of course the day of. Kathyâs Kitchen is the in-house caterer: The food was AMAZING! We got a lot of comments about dinner and breakfast the next day. Everything was very well organized, the staff all communicated very well as a team and with us. They were all very flexible and easy to work with. I canât thank all of the staff enough for making our special day turn out perfectly! â â We also really liked how large the space was and it has a more modern feel to it that was very easy to personalize to fit our wedding decor. There was plenty of parking and side rooms to use for storage and miscellaneous use.

We are so happy we picked the Braham Event Center as our wedding venue! We were looking for something affordable but beautiful where we could hold a 200 person wedding as well as a reception with a dance. The Braham Event Center was perfect! The floor to ceiling windows made a stunning backdrop for the ceremony and we had the room staged for a very quick turn around into a reception. Because the space is very open and minimally decorated, we were able to bring in our own style and really make it ours. We had private spaces to get ready and I loved the convenience of a private bathroom next to the bridal party's space. We did our pictures right outside and they turned out beautifully as well. Kelly was very flexible and fun to work with, and the catering team was fantastic as well, accommodating gluten, egg, and dairy allergies with patience and care. They put their best into making our day special, and it showed. We would recommend the Braham Event Center for anyone looking for an affordable yet classy option for a wedding ceremony or reception venue.

Meet the Braham Event Center Team
Kelly Nelson (Coordinator) As Event Coordinator, I work closely with couples from the fist tour of our venue up to the big day. I am reachable around the clock, ready to answer questions and confirm details. I have been with the Braham Event Center for two years and have been in the event businesses for fifteen years. The Braham Event Center is located in my husband's (adorable) hometown, and is mostly volunteer-run. I love that the team I work with are volunteers in the community, and proceeds from your booking go to support our food shelf, community library, and other programs for our area.
