We came across Briarwood when searching for venues on the knot. As soon as we spoke to Sara and saw the venue, we were sold. We picked a date and didn't bother looking anywhere else. Sara was so responsive, her communication was top notch from start to finish. Briarwood is transparent about all their costs, they list everything on their website and there are no surprises at the end. The rental fee includes set up, tear down, chairs for the outdoor ceremony, tables and chairs for inside, linens and table clothes, they even have decor for the tables if you don't want to bring your own. It was so refreshing seeing all the costs upfront and having everything included, unlike a lot of other places I saw online. Costs can add up quickly for a wedding but I thought the food, beverage, cocktail hour, and venue rental was very reasonably priced. They partner with Sausalito for catering, again - Sara does all the heavy lifting, you just have to give her your availability and show up to the tasting. The venue itself is beautiful, it sits on a golf course so we didn't need any decor for outside. The indoor space was great, we have about 160 people, we could have definitely fit more but it was not over crowded or too open. There is also an outdoor space for cocktail hour which you can keep open all nice. Everything went to smoothly, Sara is a great event planner, she is very organized and detail oriented and responds faster than you can imagine. I would highly recommend Briarwood for your wedding or event!

My husband and I live out of state, but wanted to get married in Cleveland to be close to family. We booked Briarwood for our wedding and it was a great decision! Sara was so easy to work with and made sure my mind was at ease in terms of planning. On the day of the wedding, we received so many compliments on everything! Briarwood's Coordinator, Amanda, was at our wedding and she made sure things went smoothly. If you're looking for an all in one venue, pick Briarwood!

We originally looked at Briarwood for our wedding and really appreciated everything Sara did to help make it work but due to the size of the wedding, we weren’t able to. We decided to do our bridal shower here and couldn’t be happier! Sara and her team was able to make it very easy to plan the shower. The food was amazing and still get people saying how good the food was. Sara was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend for any type of event to use Briarwood. We cannot wait for future events to use Briarwood again!

Briarwood provided and set up the chairs so we didn't need to worry about that. Cocktail hour took place on their outdoor patio. It was nice because guests were able to enjoy the scenery and take photos during this time. The reception took place indoors but guests were still allowed outside on the patio. Sara and her team set up everything for us so we just had to show up. It was cool to just walk in and see our vision in real life. We received lots of compliments on the venue and food. Everything went as planned. We are very happy with our decision in booking Briarwood for our wedding.

She set up the entire venue for us and everything looked beautiful. We did not have to worry about one thing! The venue sits on a golf course and the views make for great pictures. Everything came out absolutely perfect. Sara the wedding coordinator decorated everything herself to make sure it was done right, always got back to me with my email questions so fast and there were a LOT of them. She made sure everything went smoothly and just the way we imagined it. I would definitely recommend this pace to everyone!

If you are looking for an all in one place, Briarwood is it! From our initial planning meeting to the wedding Sara was amazing!!! We had our outdoor ceremony on a day that ended up raining the entire day. Sara was great with easing my mind and keeping me updated with what we could do. Thankfully the rain stopped and we had a perfect ceremony. Sara and the staff beautifully decorated everything how pictured all based off pictures. I wouldn’t have wanted my wedding anywhere else!!!

If you are looking for an all in one place, Briarwood is it! From our initial planning meeting to the wedding Sara was amazing!!! We absolutely loved our wedding at Briarwood! Sara was incredibly helpful, kind, and very organized. Many things were included in the rental package so it made making decisions easier. We LOVED the caterer they use (Sausalito) and got SO many compliments on the food at our wedding and their ability to accommodate all dietary restrictions (they were very thorough and organized and had great GF/DF/V options). The linens and tableware were all included and were very nice. There is a very limited linen selection and the color ended up being very different from the small sample we looked at while planning. Additionally, while the interior is completely remodeled and has lots of windows and natural light, the parking lot and exterior of the buildings are not in great shape. We originally toured in the winter and thought some of those things would be fixed when the golf course opened over the spring but they were not. However, for the price and the level of service we were very pleased with Briarwood and would highly recommend it!

We had the best time at our wedding! Briarwood truly went above & beyond to make the day special. We got married offsite but were able to still take photos on the property before the reception. Our wedding had just under 200 guests and the space fit us perfectly. Highly recommend Briarwood as a venue!

I’m so happy I came across this venue by chance! They made me feel at ease when it came to the big day. Of course brides want control of everything but they made sure everything was taken care of! It was the perfect space for the amount of people we had. Sara is a gem and I hope she continues to be for future soon to be married couples planning their big day.

Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with. From the moment I inquired about setting up an appointment to see the venue to the moment we left. After our wedding reception, it was effortless. I loved how everything from the food, linens, centerpieces, bar, and every else was all included in one price. It saved us so much time and energy. Beautiful location and people are still talking about the food! This is a hidden gem in Cleveland and would recommend a million times over!

Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with. From the moment I inquired about setting up an appointment to see the venue to the moment we left. After our wedding reception, it was effortless. I loved how everything from the food, linens, centerpieces, bar, and every else was all included in one price. It saved us so much time and energy. Beautiful location and people are still talking about the food! This is a hidden gem in Cleveland and would recommend a million times over!

Briarwood was a great location for our big day! We loved working alongside Sara to make our wedding special - she did SO MUCH to help us. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the food. Thank you so much to Sara and the briarwood team!! Although there were tornado level winds it was still the best day ever. Would 1000% recommend briarwood for your wedding!

I got married last fall & it was honestly so amazing! The venue is so beautiful & I didn't have to worry about anything. The Coordinator, Sara, worked with me throughout the planning & made sure everything was how I wanted. The outdoor patio was a big hit for my guests so having the indoor/outdoor space is a must! I received so many compliments during & after my wedding. Overall a great place to get married!!

Our wedding reception at Briarwood Golf Club was amazing beyond anything we could have dreamed! From our first meeting with Sara we knew she was someone we could rely on and she exceeded our expectations in ways we could have never imagined. Throughout the entire process Sara was attentive, courteous, helpful, and responsive. She made planning the reception easy and stress-free, as we knew early on we were in good hands. The food from Sausalito was delicious and we received many compliments on the dinner from our family and friends. Adding in the fact that the venue also assists with the alcohol, bartenders, tables, chairs, and linens makes this a one stop shop for so many reception needs. We had a wonderful experience and want to thank Sara and the rest of the staff again for everything they did for us!

The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous, the grounds were perfect for the hour-long time between to take photos with our photographer; so much so that we decided that we didn't need to leave because there were so many beautiful spots to utilize. They even have a cute patio where we had a cocktail hour with horderves to entertain our guests while we were taking said photos. We booked a little more than a year in advance, and worked with Sara, the event coordinator, over that time. She was amazing. She ALWAYS got back to me in an incredibly timely fashion, she did so much for us that it made it easy for me to basically just show up and enjoy the day... She is seriously SO GOOD at what she does. I am a kind of indecisive person, and she gave me her experienced opinions on issues or  choices I needed to make and really led me through the whole process, from beginning until the end when my husband & I drove off that night, married.I truly would recommend Briarwood to anyone for any event, but especially a wedding. It was so perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything else. THANK YOU SO MUCH SARA, you're the absolute best!!!!! xx.

How do you write a review for a place that is responsible for you having the best night of your life? We had our wedding ceremony and r reception at Briarwood, and it didn't disappoint! Sara who is the coordinator was amazing right from the start! She was quick to respond to emails or texts and sheade planning it fun for my wife! Even when it came to the big day Sara was composed and pretty much did her best to accommodate anything we may have aaked for! It got windy that day and we had a tidal wave of chairs blowing all over the palce. Sara came out herself and helped get chairs back before guests arrived! Our pictures turned out amazing as their grounds are beautiful, and have a lot of spots for cool shots! I really can't say enough about not only Sara but also her team! Everyone was so polite and smiles on their faces and the bartenders had fun with the crowd! We had a shot wall my buddy made as a gift and they had it filled all night! The night was EPIC to say the least and it was all thanks to Sara and her crew! Oh wait don't let me forget the food......BEST wedding food I've ever had! I mean come on we are all used to the bland light sauced pasta, dry chicken, and over done beef at most weddings. Come on you know you've been there more than once... Haha well not with briar wood the food was excellent and I had compliments months later! If you're looking to make your big day one to remember ...do yourself a favor, and check out Sara at Briarwood golf club, you won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I got married at Briarwood Golf Club in July of 2022. It was amazing! From the start, we were impressed with their coordinator. She was very detailed and helped us throughout the planning process. She even gave us a list of preferred vendors that she's worked with. It was so nice that Briarwood includes so many things that could add additional expenses to the wedding (centerpieces, linens, Chiavari chairs). I don't think I could really convey my appreciation for this venue or it’s employee most specially Sara through a simple review. Thanks to all the reviews online, and when we went to tour the venue, Sara were informative with all my questions and the site itself was gorgeous. We reserved the venue on the same day. We had the pleasure of getting married here and reception as well on July 2, 2022.She was constantly in contact with me us email/phone to ensure that all the details I wanted would be taken care of that day. She is so polite and kind when I dropped off decorations the day before of the wedding and she was more than accommodating about it all.The food is amazing! SARA is the best. The overall experience here was totally amazing! She was also on-site attendant the day of the wedding, she made everything so easy for me and let me enjoy the time with my friends and family. At the end of the evening they helped also packed up our cars with gifts and decor so that we didn't have to come back. My husband couldn't believe that these girls would do that at no extra cost! Briarwood is gorgeous! I attended a wedding at Briarwood in May and it was wonderful. I actually attended another wedding there a few years ago, but it looks like a completely new venue! They've done a great job modernizing the space. Highly recommend!

Our wedding at Briarwood was AMAZING! Everything was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a more memorable day. The food was delicious and service was top notch. Sara and the rest of Briarwood's staff were professional, easy to work with and organized. Briarwood was super flexible and worked with us on a few special things we wanted at our wedding. It was great having a venue that included so much in-house: linens, centerpieces, setup/teardown, planner, food and liquor. We highly recommend Briarwood as a wedding venue.

I attended an event at Briarwood in June 2021. Everything was amazing! The staff were friendly and polite. The venue itself was very pretty. As a guest, I enjoyed having both indoor and outdoor space to socialize. The food was wonderful as well!

Briarwood was a fantastic venue for our wedding! We held our ceremony down at their fireplace, gazebo setup and it was beautiful. The wedding coordinator was wonderful up until the week before the wedding. I hadn't heard from her in a week and I kept on emailing her. Turns out, she had to go on maturity leave, but she never emailed me or called me to let me know. After that things went downhill. The reception hall wasn't ready when we went in to set up our tables. And the other managers refused to iron the tablecloths! Mind you, this was the day before our wedding. So it took 3.5 hours to iron all the tablecloths and set up. I was very disappointed in the service, and the lack of communication toward the end of the planning process.

Briarwood turned out to be a perfect venue for my wedding! We did a lot decorating ourselves and it looked beautiful. The venue was nice and we liked the fact that we go to use the deck that's attached to the banquet hall along with the banquet room. By utilizing both spaces, we were able to have 2 bars for our guests :) We had 110 guests and 14 tables which fit perfectly in the banquet room. I would not recommend having many more because it would be hard for people to move throughout the room. The food from Bucci's was AMAZING! Everything we tasted at our tasting was delicious and it was hard to choose the menu. Overall, our experience at Briarwood was fantastic! I would recommend it to other brides.

When we decided on Briarwood for the reception it was for the aesthetics. We LOVED LOVED LOVED the amount of windows and it's openness to the golf course and fountain. \r\rDuring the planning process both John and Kelleen were great. John was easy going. We were able to have dinner served family style when we had found many other venues were unable/unwilling to do this. Kelleen helped us with the tasting and details for setting up the room. She was always friendly, prompt, helpful and professional all at the same time.\r\rThe food was amazing. We had a wonderful tasting - we liked so many options it was difficult to narrow it down. The housemade ranch dressing was the best I'd ever had. The chicken piccata was tender and moist with the perfect amount of lemony taste. At the reception all of our guests seemed to enjoying their dinner. I heard great things about the cocktails and bartender from guests. They even let us create a specialty drink that was our wedding color (aqua) and served it!\r\rThere were two reasons that I felt unable to give the venue 5 stars. The first is that one of our personalized champagne toasting flutes was broken during the dinner clean up. They informed us promptly, apologized, and replaced them. However, the replacement flutes will never be the ones we clinked to the toasts of our friends and family. The second was our inability to utilize the outdoor patio space. The evening was warm, there was patio furniture out; however the space was not opened up for the evening. A 20 minute rain shower about 45 minutes prior to the start of the reception is what caused this I believe. There was some rain on the chairs that I thought could have easily been wiped. Even if wiping the chairs was not an option, I thought the door could have been unlocked for those who wanted a breath of fresh air or to smoke. They did open the door upon my request later in the evening. \r\rOverall, we were very happy with our wedding reception at Briarwood Golf Club.

The owner John, was initially very helpful, but near the wedding, did not come through on some promises made. Regardless, the ceremony and reception (both held at Briarwood) were beautiful and a total blast. Bucci's did amazing catering the food- being contracted through Briarwood.
