Situated in Jacksonville, FL, Brick and Beam is a wedding venue in the heart of the Springfield Historic District. Minimal elegance blends with industrial-chic accents in this unique event space, where the building’s history is infused with contemporary style and comforts. Owner Amy Smith leads an expert team who is passionate about designing and curating special events for cherished clients.
Brick and Beam comprises a 2,300-square-foot event space and has been thoughtfully reimagined as an upscale wedding venue with an urban edge. Guests are first greeted by a colorful and funky mural by artist Grant Thornton, which reads “Welcome to Springfield.” Inside, raw, exposed brick walls merge with ambient accent lighting, greenery, and polished wood furnishings. All of these design elements combine to set the tone for refined celebrations with a rustic and relaxed vibe. The Main Parlor is ideal for all stages of your romantic journey, from engagement drinks and rehearsal dinner get-togethers to the main event. This blank canvas can be decorated to match your vision, whether you desire romantic votive candlelight or modern flashing dance floor lights. The Back Porch can be hired as an outdoor party space or in unison with the indoor function room. Exotic greenery, wooden decking, gazebo, string lights, and a firepit all convene to create a wonderfully chilled atmosphere for laid-back barbecues and more.
The dedicated team at Brick and Beam wishes to make your wedding vision come true at their historic hotspot. Your catering company can use the kitchen area to warm food and complete last-minute serving preparations. In-house event coordinators are happy to make vendor recommendations for all your needs, from photo booths to DJs and bartenders.

Brick and Beam Reviews

Alaina, Niki, and the whole Brick and Beam team went above and beyond to make our special day great! We had a great experience with communication during our whole planning process, they answered all of our questions quickly and in detail. Day of, Alaina was even out there helping our guests park and get into the venue safely. The grounds are beautiful and everything was clean from the bathrooms to the deck, to the getting-ready areas! I highly recommend taking a tour and talking with these ladies yourself! Reviewed on 07-12-2023

We had our wedding at Brick & Beam October 21st and it is an absolutely beautiful venue. Clean, well maintained, and the perfect atmosphere for our guests! From the very start Nikki welcomed us to our tour with open arms and was so passionate in what she does we didn’t have to look elsewhere. We then got lucky enough to also work with Alaina as our awesome wedding coordinator and she made sure our day absolutely amazing! We are so grateful that we picked B&B as our venue. Our guests had a blast and the venue looked like a romantic whimsical love story! Alaina worked with us up until the day of planning every last detail and seamlessly with our vendors to make sure everything ran seamlessly. B&B staff and management were also very catering to our requests. Thanks Alaina for all you have done and for being the passionate coordinator you are and for making our girls comfortable and letting them help out during the wedding day. They had a blast and it made them feel special knowing they helped set up too. Things worked out for the best and we are so glad our previous coordinator didn’t work out. From jumping in mid wedding planning to our big day you’ve been there every step of the way! Thanks to Nikki for your amazing ideas, good vibes and for making accommodations for us on all our special requests. And to the rest of the B&B staff for making our day a day to remember forever. We are forever thankful!Jose & Lainey Reviewed on 13-11-2023
Dawnyale Rouch(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-04-2023 Alaina and Niki at Brick and Beam are a dream to have by your side as you plan. They are thoughtful, caring and go above and beyond. They took all the stress off of us and allowed us to express who we are as a couple. They allowed us to bring in vendors that are special to us and were open to us trying new things while guiding us on how to have the best experience not just for us but for our guest as well. The venue is a dream. It has outside and inside spaces. Plenty of room for wedding party and family. The inside space is gorgeous with the historic windows letting in natural light but as the sun sets the beautiful light tones left the space romantic but fun. The upstairs space for wedding party has a beautiful balcony that overlooks the city and makes for spectacular pictures. Honestly, the whole venue is a photo opp. I honestly could go on for days. If you choose Brick & Beam for your day, you will NOT be disappointed. Reviewed on 26-04-2023
Courtney Capobianco(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-11-2022 Brick and Beam was the biggest and best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We had a wedding of about 100 people and it was the perfect size. Amy and Niki and all staff members were beyond helpful throughout the whole process. The outdoor space and fire pit is unlike any other venue in Jax and was a guest favorite! The indoor space is beyond beautiful, the brick, the light fixtures, the wood work, tall ceilings. My vision of an urban romantic wedding came to life effortlessly and was more beautiful than I imagined. Guests continue to comment to me that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that they loved Brick and Beam. The style is old yet new- giving people the vibe they have transformed to a different time era. My daughter was able to play her electric piano on the back porch during the ceremony, we had a photo booth in the bridal suite room, we had a huge space for dancing, parking lot with an attendant, an amazing upstairs area for the bridal party to get ready, the bathrooms are even sexy. The furniture and chairs they provide are beautiful and you can truly customize the space to your reflect your style and vision. People did not want to leave- literally. Everything turned out great and I would love to host another event at Brick and Beam in the future. Reviewed on 03-12-2022

The modern building has so much history and is well-known in Jacksonville! The venue was budget-friendly and was perfect from the start to the finish! The staff (special shoutout to Alaina for being awesome) was incredible and there were two areas for my fiancee and me to get ready. Plenty of space and the BEST place for wedding photographs! I 100% recommend this venue for your wedding or any other parties you may want to throw! I wish I could upload photos from the best day of my life!
