Originally built in 1871, the barns at Bridgeport Ranch facilitated the supply of hay to livestock in the nearby gold mining town of Bodie. Today, Bodie is a ghost town; but the barns remain an integral part of the venue’s charm. Here, you and your guests can be a part of history as you look forward to your future and the many wonderful adventures it holds in store. Bridgeport Ranch Barns & Terrace hosts engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions, elopements, and vow renewal ceremonies. The venue offers outdoor seating for up to 250 guests. Your rental includes a selection of decorative items; tables, chairs, and stools; ivory-colored table linens; a BBQ grill; a raised stone fire pit; and more. Optional extras include glassware, space heaters, a PA system, and a horse-drawn carriage. A private get-ready room is available on the second floor of the barn. They were so accommodating with our set-up & tear-down times and made sure the venue was clean, beautiful, and ready to go for our big day. Bridgeport Ranch - Barns and Terrace is the perfect place in the Eastern Sierra to have a wedding. Benny was amazing to make Plan B happen as the rain started to pour. The barn was perfect for our reception and the porch was cool for the ceremony. We had a fabulous elopement wedding there with a few friends and family. Highly recommend this venue.

This is an amazing wedding venue! The view at this venue will leave you speechless. Benny and Penelope do an amazing job and are quick to answer any questions you might have. He is great about prompt communication and was very helpful through out the planning process. I have only good things to say about this venue would definitely recommend

This venue is an absolute dream! You cannot beat the scenery and Benny was so helpful! This venue is perfect for a couple that wants an outdoor wedding and wants their guests to have a good time! I can’t recommend this venue enough!

The owner Benny was very helpful and always got back to me in a timely manner. If you’re looking for the perfect view, this is the place for you! It is the most breathtaking backdrop! They also have a horse drawn carriage that’s a little extra money, but it’s worth every penny.

My husband and I had our reception here September 2021, and it was absolutely fabulous. My initial correspondence was with Benny and Penelope were so easy and wonderful I couldn’t recommend this place enough.The venue itself is backed by the gorgeous Sierra mountains, and some of the most essential amenities were provided through the ranch. The groom and his party took advantage of the “bridal suite” upstairs in the barn while I got ready at one of the nearby motels. We had friends that camped on site in their RVs and tents, and most family stayed at the motels that are within walking distance of the venue.The venue is extremely affordable, especially when comparing to most other venues in the state and nearby, and we were able to get married on a Thursday which cut costs even further. Everyone was impressed in the beauty of the space. Benny, Paul and Penelope did everything in their power to make sure we had a special day and that we felt comfortable and worry free leading up to and the day of the wedding. I didn’t have a planner, and was planning everything from out of state, I never felt like things were falling through the cracks, and was so grateful for Benny’s willingness to go the extra mile to help us out. I would rebook this venue again in a heartbeat!

Everything we wanted in a venue! Breathtaking views, an amazingly accommodating staff, location is walking distance to hotels/bars and camping on site! We were able to bring our own horse trailer bar which fit perfectly with the ranch setting. Plenty of storage, tables, chairs, lighting, basically everything you need is on site.Benny, Paul and Penelope = Dream Team.

This venue is incredible, the views are breathtaking! You only get the venue and the tables and chairs everything else you have to provide which makes it easier to budget. The staff were amazing and very responsive to emails. We had a beautiful wedding!

This place is absolutely magical! Everyone there is so helpful and nice and super flexible (we had to postpone due to covid and they made it much easier on us)! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Friends can camp, the view is amazing, I could go on forever... Love them!
