We offer ceremonies, receptions, vow renewals, etc. Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club's outdoor ceremony area is lush and romantic with seasonal colors, twinkling lights and water features. Indoors, the airy banquet hall can host up to 200 guests and offers stunning panoramic views of the championship golf course. It is the perfect backdrop for both sit-down meals and receptions filled with laughter and dancing. Bridal parties can complete final preparations for the big event in comfort and style in a private bridal suite. From the moment you book your wedding, you will work side by side with your dedicated wedding planner to personalize and perfect every facet of your reception. From setting casual, intimate or elegant moods to customizing your menu, every decision is catered to your personality, style and budget. Work with our professional staff to construct traditional or contemporary plated meals, including formal dinner receptions to intimate champagne brunches. Had my dream wedding here and it couldn’t have been better! Jennifer was so amazing and helped us every step of the way. Not only is it a beautiful facility but the staff was just great. The food was amazing, the staff was quick and helpful, everything was just as i wanted it to be. Beautiful set up and was very professional!! 10/10 recommend :)

Had my dream wedding here and it couldn’t have been better! Jennifer was so amazing and helped us every step of the way. Not only is it a beautiful facility but the staff was just great. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned our for our wedding at Bridges of Poplar Creek in October 2021! Jennifer is amazing to work with; she was very kind and quick to get back to us about any questions or concerns, and was extremely accommodating. She made the process stress free and we did not worry about the venue or food at all through out the planning process. The setting is beautiful indoors and out, and we were able to get amazing pictures. Our guests have still been raving about how good all of the food was!

We couldn't be happier with how everything turned our for our wedding at Bridges of Poplar Creek in October 2021! Jennifer is amazing to work with; she was very kind and quick to get back to us about any questions or concerns, and was extremely accommodating. She made the process stress free and we did not worry about the venue or food at all through out the planning process. The setting is beautiful indoors and out, and we were able to get amazing pictures. Our guests have still been raving about how good all of the food was!

As the mother of the bride, I found Jennifer and her staff to be very accommodating and helpful during the entire planning of the wedding ceremony and the reception. The bride and groom reside in Hawaii so they were mostly unable to participate in person. It was drizzling during the ceremony but the bride still wanted it held outside. The staff worked with us to accommodate those who braved the mist and those who wanted to remain indoors so all would be able to view it. I would highly recommend this venue.

I cannot even thank Jennifer enough. She has been INCREDIBLE and extremely accommodating. She’s also very easy to talk to and promptly responded to every single one of my emails. By choice I postponed my wedding twice and Jennifer made the changes very smooth. She remembered many little details that I mentioned about my wedding even though she’s currently working with so many other brides. I highly recommend Bridges of Poplar Creek. Jennifer and her staff were attentive, communicative and very flexible. The venue was perfectly sized. The outdoor cocktail area was very beautiful. We were impressed with the delicious hot hors d’oeuvres and the cold drinks that we served near the gazebo. The Willow trees and curved bridges were a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. As to the indoor reception, we were pleasantly surprised how hot and flavorful the dinner meal was. The servers were professional and very helpful. The bartenders were courteous and made excellent drinks. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone! Thank you Bridges staff! You helped make the evening special.

We were so excited to have our wedding ceremony and reception here. Unfortunately, Covid-19 had other plans.I will say this. Jennifer was exceptional from the beginning. She gets an A+ from us in terms of communication. He was in correspondence with us immediately after we toured the venue. She allowed us to come in a few different times to take measurements of the space and discuss decorations.As soon as she knew information regarding restrictions on large gatherings, she called my cell and we discussed options. She gave us different ideas and said that there were willing to work with us whatever option we chose. We chose to reschedule our wedding for 2021.A lot has happened in the last year. Jennifer called me last week again to discuss options. She said that we could go ahead and continue with our scheduled event, we could change the event to be less formal if we chose, or we could cancel and would be refunded our original deposit.Communication is huge for me. I felt like they were willing to work with our needs and budget. I love that Jennifer kept in contact with us and ultimately met our needs. Even though we will not be able to have our event here, I highly recommend!

We cannot say enough nice things about Bridges of Poplar Creek and the team working there - especially Jennifer! As a couple with an originally planned 2020 wedding, this year went from happy and exciting to sad and extremely stressful, but Jennifer was a saving grace throughout it all. She is incredibly responsive and communicative and was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. When we originally decided to move our date in the early days of the pandemic, she was so flexible and easy to work with, and when the continuing COVID crisis meant our plans would continue to change, she remained as kind and quick to respond as ever. We had a great experience working with her and would recommend this venue to other couples looking for a kind and communicative vendor with a beautiful outdoor ceremony location and indoor reception space (the new wood floors are beautiful!)

With everything going on with COVID-19, my fiance and I were super nervous about what would happen if we postponed our wedding or even if we had it with a smaller crowd. We had friends tell us that for their wedding at a different venue, they were still going to be charged the minimum amount even if there were only 50 people, I was so nervous about what was going to happen but then we got the call. Jennifer called us from Brides of Poplar Creek and assured us that they understood what was going on and that they would do whatever they could to accommodate us with what we decided to do. They allowed us to maintain our date for 2020 but then also offered to hold a date (at no cost) for 2021! My fiance and I hit the lotto with this place. Jennifer is up to date on the guidelines they are mandated to follow and continued to support us as we took our time deciding what we were going to do. We have finally decided to move our date and Jennifer drew up the new contract and got it to us in no time. Honestly, she made it so much easier for us to make this decision because it definitely was not easy. If you have not seen this venue in person, you need to go check it out. I am very picky and was looking for a place that did not have carpet. If you look at their old photos you see what the upstairs used to look like, it was beautiful but it had carpet. I was going to not even check out this venue but my mom saw that they updated their floors and now it is wood flooring. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Having both inside and outside ceremony options, you could not ask for a better place. I cannot wait to continue working with Jennifer and her crew as the countdown to our new wedding date continues. I will post a new review after our wedding happens next September.CHECK OUT BRIDGES OF POPLAR CREEK, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I'm a typical guy and I don't normally do stuff like this, but with the experience I had, I felt like I was compelled to. I was one of the groomsman and I admit that I was kind of nervous. From the moment I walked into the outdoor area I was warmly greeted and I instantly felt more comfortable. One of the buttons on the grooms suit fell off and Jennifer made sure that it was sewn on. I had some free time and I walked around. Let me tell you, this outdoor area was impeccable. They even had coy fish in the pond! The ceremony went by with ease. Soon after we all were invited upstairs for the reception. I'd consider myself an amateur foodie and the meal that I had was the best I've EVER had for a wedding! I can't tell you how mouthwatering it was. The room was beautifully decorated and lit. My water was always being filled and my dirty dishes were instantly cleaned away. The bartenders were amusing and even introduced me to a new cocktail. Would I ever consider having my wedding and or reception at The Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club? You bet! Would you be satisfied by having your wedding and or reception here as well? I guarantee it!

Each time we emailed her with questions, she got back to us quickly. Everything turned out as planned and Jennifer was very flexible in our requests. The food was delicious, drinks were good, and the ceremony space looked beautiful in mid-September. This was our favorite vendor to work with . As the bride's father I would like to commend you and your staff for a truly wonderful and memorable wedding experience. The service, food, venue and bartending was exceptional. As you may recall the wedding ceremony was due to start at 5:00 pm. At 4:50 a thunderstorm swept through but passed quickly. We thought the ceremony would have to go indoors. The wedding ceremony resumed outside at 5:20 and we started cocktail hour at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00. Well done!!!

The Bridges of Poplar creek go above and beyond for your special day. My husband and I got married here on 8/10/2019. The ceremony site is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The pictures turned out amazing. Our guest raved about the food and how great everything was. The day went so smoothly and Jennifer made sure everything was taken care of and our day was everything we hoped for. We were also so amazed of how quick they were to pack up all of our stuff to take home the next day. We barely lifted a finger for clean up. Best place ever to celebrate the best day of your life!!! The Bridges of Poplar creek go above and beyond for your special day. My husband and I got married here on 8/10/2019. The ceremony site is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The pictures turned out amazing. Our guest raved about the food and how great everything was. The day went so smoothly and Jennifer made sure everything was taken care of and our day was everything we hoped for. We were also so amazed of how quick they were to pack up all of our stuff to take home the next day. We barely lifted a finger for clean up. Best place ever to celebrate the best day of your life!!! We had my sister’s wedding here July 20th, 2019. It was an outside ceremony and was absolutely beautiful . Their garden area for the ceremony was gorgeous with trees and flowers and a creek pond. As all weddings do, we ran into some problems such as it began to storm right before the ceremony and all the staff was so accommodating to make sure that my sister still got to have her dream wedding outside and after the storm passed quickly they cleaned up all the chairs like it had never happened . We also forgot the flower petals for the flower girl and Jennifer the wedding coordinator was beyond a goddess and helped us solve that problem as well we had nothing to worry about because Jennifer and the staff did everything to make this day perfect for my sister. There are two rooms for the bridesmaids to get ready as well and both were very nice there were bottles of champagne fruit and cheese platters waiting when we got there to get ready . The food was amazing from the meatball appetizers to the 8oz. Filets (which they graciously accommodated me by cooking mine well done- because I’m that person lol) to the late night pizza. The service was excellent. The bartenders were friendly and quick & did a great job & made excellent drinks. The wedding photos that we took on the golf course for the bridal party look like a vogue magazine photo shoot because it is just so naturally beautiful - the greenery, plants, flowers & on a bridge over water. The venue was easy to find for out of town guests being close to highway and 2-3 hotels, I hop & chilis, less than 5 minutes away. Even after the wedding there was a large staff that helped us collect all sign boards, extra wedding favors, gifts, etc and packed it all up safely to pickup the next day. I couldn’t say that there is anything that could’ve done better. My sister is still glowing to this day with happiness. Thank you Jennifer and the staff at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club for making this a perfectly special day!!!

She is very good at her job and always managed to put us at ease. The other staff members were friendly and did their jobs well. The bartenders were fast in providing drinks for the guests. The venue for the outdoor ceremony was amazing, beautiful and quaint! The reception hall was also beautiful with amazing decor and touches of elegance. The food was delicious, served by amazing staff who always had a smile on their face! One of the best weddings I have ever attended!

My wife and I wanted to get married outdoors, once we saw the area outside at Poplar Creek we knew it was perfect. The food was outstanding and their staff was very friendly. Thanks to Jennifer for our smooth wedding day!

I had my wedding at Popular Creek Golf course, everything turned out to be beautiful. Jennifer who is the sales and catering supervisor was so sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. Any questions that I had she would respond to me in a timely manner. The food was excellent and the entire staff was very attentive and polite. It ended up raining the time frame I was supposed to walk down the aisle, Jennifer encouraged me to wait it out for 15 minutes until it passed. Her and her staff dried off all the chairs outside and made sure everything looked perfect. I was so grateful for all the hard work their entire team put into my special day. They let us take the golf carts by the bridge to take pictures, those pictures ended up being my favorite with the beautiful scenery. I would defiantly recommend using Popular Creek to get married at. Thanks again to Jennifer and her staff members making our wedding day so perfect!

The Bridges of Poplar Creek staff was incredible to work with from the start. Jennifer was in contact with us through the whole process to make sure we had everything we needed and address any concerns we had. The ceremony area is perfect for an outdoor wedding and well maintained. The kitchen staff and Chef Sergio were able to accommodate the dietary needs of our guest without issue. To this day everyone says how great the food was. The best part for me, was that they are able to host a full 8-piece band in the reception area. I can’t thank the staff enough for helping to create a perfect night for my wife and I.

We had our wedding at the Bridges of Poplar Creek on 8/31/19. It was the most amazing day, thanks to Jennifer who made sure everything ran smoothly and according to plan. She was great to work with. Anything we needed, she did for us, and she was always prompt in answering all our emails, and most of all she was pleasant..Our guests loved the outdoor ceremony and thought it was gorgeous as well as loved having the cocktail hour outside. We were blessed with great weather that day as well. Our bartenders, Kathy and Sharon were fun! The staff was great to work with and Jenny didn't miss a beat on the day of the wedding or setting up for it! Our guests loved the food and we were very impressed with it as well. We had chicken and steak and the steak was cooked perfect! I am so glad we chose the Bridges of Poplar Creek for both our ceremony and reception. The pictures came out beautifully and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a romantic and beautiful ceremony and a wedding coordinator who is very attentive to your needs.

My wedding was a dream come true thanks to Jennifer and all of the amazing staff at the Bridges of Poplar Creek. Jennifer was so helpful and accommodating every step of the way. She was quick to respond to any questions or emails and made me feel at ease throughout the entire planning process. We had initially planned for our wedding to be outside but booked the Fairway Room as our indoor backup. Due to cold/rainy weather we had our ceremony inside and our cocktail hour in the reception room, but every single detail was so incredibly beautiful so I really didn’t mind. My guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful and elegant everything looked. All of the food was amazing (I’m still dreaming about the chicken poulette) and our banquet captains and bartenders went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. I also loved that we were able to drop off all of our props and decor used for the ceremony and reception a few days before our wedding and pick them back up the day after our wedding. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough and wish I could give them 10 stars.

The Poplar staff set the ceremony space and reception room beautifully to our floorplan. The spaces themselves are lovely, especially the outside ceremony area. We really appreciated their flexibility, as we had the option to relocate the ceremony and cocktail hour inside in case of weather up until just a few hours beforehand. Nothing but wonderful things to say about Bridges of Poplar Creek. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, accommodating, low-stress ceremony and reception.

Jennifer also had a backup space inside ready to go in case of bad weather but luckily we didn’t have to go that route. The grounds made for amazing photos with the bridal party. Our reception was held inside with plenty of space for roughly 160 guests and decorated beautifully. I would highly recommend future couples to have their wedding here.

My husband and I chose to have our ceremony and reception at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in August and from start to finish it was the most perfect day! Jennifer and her staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We were able to bring in our decorations the week of the wedding and the room was completely set up upon our arrival-not one thing out of place. Our ceremony started promptly at 5pm without any missteps from the staff. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful with no need for additional flowers or decorations. Throughout our cocktail hour and reception, Jennifer and the banquet captain were outstanding. The food was served piping hot with generous portions. We had a split menu and each guest got served exactly what they ordered! At the end of the night we were told that we could come back the next day to pick up all of our things-that made the night so much easier and stress free. Overall our day was absolutely perfect, all thanks to Jennifer and her staff. If I could I would give Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club 10 Stars!!! From the pricing to Jennifer, the banquet captain, and their entire staff to the venue overall...it was the most perfect day!!!

We were able to bring in our decorations the week of the wedding and the room was completely set up upon our arrival-not one thing out of place. Our ceremony started promptly at 5pm without any missteps from the staff. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful with no need for additional flowers or decorations. Throughout our cocktail hour and reception, Jennifer and the banquet captain were outstanding. The food was served piping hot with generous portions. We had a split menu and each guest got served exactly what they ordered! At the end of the night we were told that we could come back the next day to pick up all of our things-that made the night so much easier and stress free. Overall our day was absolutely perfect, all thanks to Jennifer and her staff. If I could I would give Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club 10 Stars!!! From the pricing to Jennifer, the banquet captain, and their entire staff to the venue overall...it was the most perfect day!!!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here in October 2017. The venue is beautiful and there is an amazing outdoor ceremony space. Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating through our entire wedding planning process. Bridges of Poplar Creek is also very accommodating with dietary restrictions, which was very important for our wedding as we had many guests with food allergies. The food at our reception was delicious and many of our guests commented on how good the food was. The only reason I am not giving Bridges of Poplar Creek 5 stars is because the staff threw our cake topper away after they cut the cake. Fortunately, my maid of honor noticed that we did not have the cake topper and demanded that the staff dig through the garbage to find it. We did get it back, but I was upset that it happened in the first place. If you get married here, definitely assign someone to keep track of your cake topper, cake cutting set and toasting flutes! Otherwise, you might not get them back. I understand that mistakes happen, but the cake topper is typically a keepsake and the staff should have asked if we wanted it before making a decision on their own to throw it away. My husband and I had our cake topper custom designed and had no intention of throwing it away. Other than the cake topper incident, our wedding was great and we would still recommend Bridges of Poplar Creek!

I recently got married and I am SO happy we chose Bridges of Poplar Creek for our ceremony and reception. The gazebo area is so gorgeous that we didn't even need to decorate anything for the ceremony. The reception space is perfect. We had 100 people, but it didn't seem too big for the number we had. Food was great. Jennifer was AWESOME to work with. I think I emailed her hundreds of times leading up to the wedding and she always responded promptly and was always willing to help. It was unseasonably HOT for our wedding and Jennifer did everything she could to make it more comfortable for everyone. They are reasonably priced and all around just great.We could not be happier with how everything turned out!! Highly recommend.

From day one she made me so comfortable, at ease, and worry-free about my special day. Jennifer made sure we had planned both an outdoor wedding as well as indoor back up plan in case of unfavorable weather. Even as the wedding day was fast approaching Jennifer made anything and everything, no matter how difficult or extravagant a change, possible. As far as the food, service, atmosphere along with the entertainment, I would give it all a 5-star rating. I was actually so impressed with this venue that I forwarded and recommended it to three of my friends that were soon to be married within the next year. Hands down the most impressive, elegant and wonderful venue in the northwest suburbs. Without Jennifer my big day would not have been possible.

We are so glad we chose Bridges of Poplar Creek for our wedding ceremony and reception and to have had Jennifer coordinate and supervise it! There was a 90% chance of rain on our wedding day, and Jennifer worked with us by the minute to keep us updated about the ceremony location. Fortunately, we were able to have our wedding ceremony outside, and the staff worked flawlessly to set it up. We were also able to take the golf carts around to get pictures on the gorgeous grounds. Bridges of Poplar Creek took a lot of the stress out of wedding planning by providing an amazing cake vendor (included in the price), setting up our decorations, and providing all of the minor things we didn't think about. The food was also amazing; our guests are still complimenting it after almost 2 weeks. We couldn't have chosen a better venue!

I attended a wedding here this past weekend, and I had a horrible experience. At first, I was optimistic because the environment was beautiful. Unfortunately, the food and service were poor. For example, the serving portions were very small and the vegetables were under cooked. I was the only vegan at the table, and I had to ask for my plate several minutes after everyone else was served. The staff seemed to have forgotten about me. Also, the waitress was abrupt when asking me whether my child wanted the kids meal or not. All I saw was the waitress's back after my daughter told me she wanted the kids meal. Soon after toasting the bride and groom, the servers came to take away the champagne glasses before we were finished drinking. In fact, my cousin lifted up her glass for a toast and the waitress grabbed the glass out of her hand. My cousin told her \" I am not done with my drink.\" and the waitress responded \" Well, you are now!\" in a mean tone. Then, after dessert, all the bottles of wine, even full bottles, were spirited away from the tables. Also, the waitress tried to confiscate some gluten free prepackaged cupcakes I brought in for my sisters. I guess you need to guard any food or drink with your life for fear that it will be taken away from you. In short, I do not recommend this place.

My wife and I had our wedding at Bridges of Poplar Creek in June of 2016 and we both agree it was the best day of our lives. This was in no small part due to the support staff at Bridges of Poplar Creek and the beautiful venue they support. Jennifer and Brian were courteous and professional from the first moment we met them. My wife and I had a great feeling about the venue and staff right away, and Jennifer in particular was amazing to work with. She was attentive and interested in making sure our special day was truly amazing. The planning process was very smooth, the staff was very organized and thorough. Every call, meeting, and rehearsal showed how professional the staff at Bridges is. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer and Brian bent over backwards to ensure my wife and I had the perfect day. Jennifer in particular was attentive to our needs and after all was said and done, we feel she played a huge role in the success of our day. The rest of the staff at Bridges played a huge role, from the kitchen, wait, and bar staff. When my wife and I will think back on our wedding day, we will not only remember the ceremony and reception, but those who helped us in making the day a huge success. Bridges of Poplar Creek made sure every need was met and it felt like our big day was also their big day too. We are truly appreciative of Jennifer and Brian, along with the rest of the staff, and they deserve more than the 5 stars I am able to give them for this rating.

I attended a wedding at Bridges of Poplar Creek on Saturday October 1st. The venue was beautiful. The food, not only wonderful but was hot when served. Many weddings/events that you attend you witness picked over plates by the guests, not here. But what stood out more than the venue and the food was the staff. Upon arriving for the reception cocktail hour, my husband and I experienced a slight confusion when the table our place card had us assigned to, was full. I spoke to a young lady and asked for assistance. In short order, the wedding planner and venue representative discovered that the place card simply had the wrong table number on it and helped us find the correct table. Sometime later, when dinner was being served, that young lady from earlier passed by me and said that she was so happy to see that I had found my table. And upon seeing the smiles and laughter of the entire table, also commented on what a great table it was. She wished me a wonderful evening and was off to finish what she was doing. I was thoroughly impressed that this young lady, with everything going on during a reception, not only remembered our very brief interaction from earlier, but that she personally followed up with me. Customer service is often what sets apart a good venue from one that is lacking. My experience at Bridges of Poplar Creek tells me that you can rest assured that you and your guests will experience impeccable customer service and have a wonderful event!

When we saw the gazebo area for the outdoor wedding, we were sold! It was so beautiful and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. We loved that we could have our cocktail hour outdoor where our ceremony was held. Jennifer and her staff did an amazing job answering all of our questions and helping up plan the perfect day! Hands down AMAZING!! My wife and I had our wedding in September here. We had 130 guests. The garden setting was amazing, Although it's at a golf course you would not even know because of how secluded and intimate they make it feel. It's a beautiful garden with water features and a gazebo at the center. Our wedding pictures turned out PERFECT!! The staff was hands down the best!! Before finding this gem my wife and I looked around and talked to many other venues around Chicagoland. All the other venues looked at us like dollar signs. Jennifer and her staff looked at us like family. They were so helpful and responded quickly with any questions or concerns we had. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the late night burgers. Our guests loved them. My wife and I couldn't have been happier to have had our special day here. Thank you Jennifer and Diane for everything!!

It's a beautiful garden with water features and a gazebo at the center. Our wedding pictures turned out PERFECT!! The staff was hands down the best!! Before finding this gem my wife and I looked around and talked to many other venues around Chicagoland. All the other venues looked at us like dollar signs. Jennifer and her staff looked at us like family. They were so helpful and responded quickly with any questions or concerns we had. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the late night burgers. Our guests loved them. My wife and I couldn't have been happier to have had our special day here. Thank you Jennifer and Diane for everything!!

Picking Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club for my wedding ceremony and reception was one of there best decisions that I have ever made. The whole property is beautiful, it provides a lot of opportunities for great wedding photos. We got married outside at the gazebo, which was decorated with flowers. Our guests loved cocktail hour outside at their beautiful stone bar. The whole wedding party really enjoyed taking golf carts and talking pictures on the golf course. Reception room was decorated absolutely beautiful! I loved the layout of the room and coral bows on all chairs. Food was delicious and many of my guests still tell me how good it tasted. We were able to make all of this happen thanks to Jennifer, who really helped us for entire year. All servers, bartenders and just people who helped us with organizing at Bridges at Poplar Creek were extremely nice and helpful.

Absolute amazing venue! We recently had our wedding here on September 2nd, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. When we were searching for venues, I wanted either a garden or a beach wedding and although my husband was a fan of golf courses, I was not. When we found this venue with an enclosed but open garden area with a beautiful gazebo and an amazing indoor reception area, and perfect greenery for pictures for a reasonable price, it was hard to pass it up. We immediately booked it!! The staff is amazing. Jennifer and Diane were so responsive by phone and email; it was nice working with people who are not only friendly, but so willing to help. They answered every and any question we had, and it made us feel at ease. We had about 130 guests, and it was a very spacious venue with plenty of room...we felt at ease the entire night. The food was fantastic and we got so many nice comments from our guests on the food and venue. I will recommend this venue to everyone and anyone. We couldn't have had a better day...thank you, Bridges, for making this possible for us!! :)

We had planned on having our ceremony and cocktail hour outside, but due to weather, we were unable to. Although devastating, I cannot thank Jennifer enough for being so calm and flexible during the time we needed to make a decision whether it should be an indoor or outdoor ceremony. If you do plan on getting married outside, just know that it is just beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. You really don't need any decorations! We had our wedding reception at Poplar Creek and the whole evening went so smoothly! Everything from the first email I sent to Jennifer to cleaning up after the reception was perfectly taken care of. Jennifer responded to my emails very quickly and answered all of my questions. She is so sweet! I had a couple last minute changes with how many people were coming to the wedding and it was no problem; I even had a change the day of and they took care of it right away. The food was fantastic and many of our guests have told me they loved it! It is well worth the price. Everything the day of was on time. The bakery Poplar Creek works with is wonderful as well. The tasting there was so fun and they made such a beautiful cake! My husband and I couldn’t decide which filling we liked better, so they did half the cake with one filling and half with the other at no extra fee (cake is included with booking poplar creek, they’re not just a prefered vendor). \r\rA few tips:\r\r1. Certain days/time of the year may be better if you cannot afford the minimum. Just ask if there’s anything they can do. Our wedding was on a Sunday and that was much better for our budget than a Friday.\r\r2. The one thing I wish I had done differently is ask them to set aside two of each appetizer so my husband and I could have tried all of them since we were late to cocktail hour.

We just had our wedding at bridges of poplar creek on September 18th, 2015. I have nothing but good things to say about the venue and the staff. Everyone from day one has been nothing but welcoming and helpful. They did everything to make sure we had a perfect day.! We were not sure if we were going to be able to do it outside in front of the beautiful garden and gazebo because of the weather so we did our rehearsal inside where there were two beautiful banquet rooms. The day of our wedding we made the decision to set up our ceremony outside and it ended up being a beautiful day! You don't even need added decorations and flowers to make your ceremony beautiful! With the beautiful white Gazebo and amazing garden with the sound of the waterfall as the background was absolute perfection. I would reccomend bridges is poplar creek to anyone! We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Bridges. The place is absolutely beautiful both outside and inside! I worked with Jennifer to plan the details of my day. From day one she was extremely helpful with all my questions. She was very easy to work with and answered emails quickly. She helped to ensure my day went smoothly and made sure everything was the way I wanted it! She checked in with me multiple times throughout my wedding week to double check every detail, it was very reassuring! I also worked with Joe and Nancy. Joe was there all day and night making sure the day went exactly how I wanted it to. He was always around and always willing to help. My florist forgot my toss bouquet which I had mentioned to Joe. Joe and Nancy were able to make a toss bouquet out of decorative flowers around the venue, I was so impressed! The day could not have gone any better. I received multiple compliments on how pretty the venue was and how great the food was! The outdoor ceremony site by the gazebo was immaculate and Jennifer even arranged for the bridal party to take golf carts out on to the course to take pictures, it was a lot of fun! The whole staff was absolutely amazing and made me feel very special on my big day. I would recommend this venue to anyone in the northwest suburbs! My guests also enjoyed the slot machines in the bar area :)

I chose PC for my ceremony because it is simply stunning. It was everything I had dreamed of for a ceremony location. I chose to have my reception elsewhere because I did not like the feel of the banquet room. After booking my ceremony, I immediately received a call asking why I didn't book my reception there also. I felt slightly intimidated and pressured by that call. I requested to move my ceremony 30 minutes later but was told no, because that may impinge on their time for their next wedding (someone who would book ceremony and rehearsal.. nothing had been booked yet) even though my ceremony only lasted 30 min. They supplied a \"wedding coordinator\" who swore in front of our Pastor and truthfully caused more chaos than \"coordination\". He confused the wedding party on when they should walk out and even told me to walk out before my song started. Luckily I did not listen. He was asked to help prep the table under the gazebo with props we needed for our ceremony and forgot to do so. I noticed as I was standing up front in front of everyone, which required me to spend my time thinking of how to fix this casually instead of listening to our Pastor. They supplied a rain backup plan which held 150 people when we had 200 guests. As we were leaving, they voiced their frustration to my parents that we did not alert them ahead of time that guests would be visiting their bar. Instead of praising us for bringing $$ to their bar, they complained. Since they only had one bartender. Sorry, but they had two weddings scheduled that day.. you'd think they would know how to staff themselves accordingly. All our other vendors made us feel like a King and Queen. If it weren't for the beautiful ceremony site, I would've taken my $$$ elsewhere.

I requested to move my ceremony 30 minutes later but was told no, because that may impinge on their time for their next wedding (someone who would book ceremony and rehearsal.. nothing had been booked yet) even though my ceremony only lasted 30 min. They supplied a \"wedding coordinator\" who swore in front of our Pastor and truthfully caused more chaos than \"coordination\". He confused the wedding party on when they should walk out and even told me to walk out before my song started. Luckily I did not listen. He was asked to help prep the table under the gazebo with props we needed for our ceremony and forgot to do so. I noticed as I was standing up front in front of everyone, which required me to spend my time thinking of how to fix this casually instead of listening to our Pastor. They supplied a rain backup plan which held 150 people when we had 200 guests. As we were leaving, they voiced their frustration to my parents that we did not alert them ahead of time that guests would be visiting their bar. Instead of praising us for bringing $$ to their bar, they complained. Since they only had one bartender. Sorry, but they had two weddings scheduled that day.. you'd think they would know how to staff themselves accordingly. All our other vendors made us feel like a King and Queen. If it weren't for the beautiful ceremony site, I would've taken my $$$ elsewhere.

Just had our wedding here on 8/22/15 and it was fantastic!! What a breathtaking venue for the ceromony and reception! The outdoor space has a beautiful gazabo and waterfall! The staff was truly wonderful, they were very Accomadating and super helpful. They even allowed my dogs to be part of the Ceremony! Their commutation was great too, they always got back to me within a business day, which is always helpful when planning a wedding. Couldn't have asked for more. So glad we picked this places. Poplar Creek is the most gorgeous setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception. From the day we first went to look at Poplar Creek, I fell in love and could not have imagined having my wedding anywhere else. Jennifer was absolutely fantastic to work with. She really helps to put your vision into a reality. She has a lot of experience coordinating wedding and provides a lot of helpful advice along the way. The outdoor space is breathtaking. The gazebo provides the perfect backdrop for pictures and sets the tone for the ceremony. Cocktail hour was held immediately after the ceremony. The space is transformed in a matter of minutes and appetizers and drinks start flowing out. The appetizers were incredible. We chose the cozy shrimp roll, crab stuffed cucumber, chicken lady’s purse, and mini beef wellington all of which our guests raved about. During cocktail hour, we were out on the golf course taking pictures and the backdrop was stunning. My favorite pictures from our wedding are on the bridges of poplar creek. The reception went off without a hitch. Food was served promptly after introductions and cake cutting and was hot and delicious. We served the combination filet and chicken Poulette and people are still talking about it today. I am happy to say that my own wedding was the first wedding I have been to where my filet was cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend the late night snack options-they were a hit around 10:30 pm. A huge thank you to Poplar Creek and their staff for making my dream wedding become a reality.

Unfortunately it rained the day of our ceremony, which had to be moved inside. My now husband and I had gone to different places to look for our perfect place to get married and have the reception all in one place. It was in March 2013 and snow was still on the ground when we started looking. When we came to Bridges of Poplar Creek, we saw the Gazebo and looked around where the flowers would be. We knew that this place would be the place for our Perfect Wedding. During the planning, we told Jennifer that I wanted to think \"outside the box\" for our wedding, and she helped us with what we wanted. We had a custom brunch menu with carving stations and omelet stations.One might think \"expensive\" but we had a budget and Jennifer made it fit within our budget. Any questions that I had with Jennifer, she responded right away with the answers. When it came to signing the contract, Jennifer had everything as we discussed in there, which was GREAT! There was a back up plan just in case in rained that day and we had to do the ceremony inside. We had a photo booth which the room had plenty of room for. We got married in June 2014 and the weather was great. The flowers were beautiful. There is a little creek with a small bridge in the same area. The outside set up with the white chairs were stunning. We had a set of mules with a carriage which carried myself (bride) and the girls to the stepping stone of the beginning of the grass area. After the ceremony, we did a balloon release. Jennifer made sure there was no village ordinance that wouldn't allow us to do those things which turned out that there was no problem. The outside area was a beautiful place to take pictures. We are so glad we chose Bridges of Poplar Creek to be a part of our wedding. We had NO problems. Everything was exactly as expected. Great Job to the Bridges of Poplar Creek. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone that's getting married.

Throughout the planning process, I emailed her probably 100 questions and she always responded quickly. I'm sure I drove her crazy (my mom and i even stopped by once to see if my table runner idea would look good) We were allowed a little customization to our package to ensure that we got everything we wanted. We used Bridges for both our ceremony and reception. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful - the landscaping is lush and the small waterfall adds a serene touch to the atmosphere. \r\rOur cocktail hour was held outdoors as well, and several guests commented on how beautiful the site and ceremony were. The staff was also kind enough to save the groom and I some appetizers while we were on the course taking pictures!\r\rThe reception space was also lovely. We got married on a Friday and were allowed to bring our decorations and instructions on how to set everything up a few days in advance. I knew that I could trust Jennifer and her team to recreate what I was envisioning. The package included a wedding cake, which was fantastic.\r\rOne great thing that this venue has over others we visited. They plan a tasting for all the couples getting married a few months before the wedding season ramps up. We were able to bring both sets of parents and the great thing is you get to taste the majority of the food available on the menu which really helped us choose our options. \r\rEveryone says that the wedding planning is extremely stressful, and it can be, but Jennifer truly made the entire process so easy. If we had to do it again, we would choose Bridges again!

We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at The Bridges, which truly was the best day of our lives! Jennifer and her staff were extremely helpful, attentive, professional, and fun. Working with Jennifer throughout the whole process was a good experience. She was friendly and well rounded when helping us with all the details. On the wedding day the staff was very friendly with our guests. \rThe setting for the ceremony was just gorgeous with the gazebo, little creek and bridges, all the floral surroundings, and brick outdoor bar area. Everything tied together and made for breath taking photographs. Made me feel a world away from the suburbs of chicago. \rThe appetizers we chose were all delicious, the guests just couldn't get enough. It was nice having the cocktail hour outside, with tables for some guests to sit, and others for people to stand around and socialize. It was a fun experience and very cute pictures when the bridal party all took golf carts out onto the course. The bridge, willow trees, and creek were a beautiful place to take pictures. Lots of space for big wedding party group shots. And right at dusk, the back drop of all the pictures with the sun and clouds was perfect! \rThe reception was a blast and went very smoothly. They were accommodating with the timing of how we wanted the night to proceed. Food was delicious, my wife and I ordered the filet and the salmon. My mom kept telling me after the wedding how many guests commented on the food and how great dinner was. I know the dinner can make or break some people's reception experiences, so I was overly grateful for such a great meal. We had about 180 guests and the room never seemed too crowded at all. The dance floor was always hoppin. When the festivities were over, the staff was extremely nice when helping gather and organize our gifts and flowers with us. The next day when we realized we misplaced a tuxedo vest and a few of our presents, we went back to the venue and everything was safely locked in an office for us! \rOverall, my family and I were extremely pleased with the Bridges of Poplar Creek. My daughter had her reception at Bridges in July of 2014. Jennifer was excellent to work with in setting up all of the details for the reception. She was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The setting was wonderful. We had cocktails outside by the gazebo, then moved inside for the dinner and dancing. The food was excellent and the price was quite reasonable. The added touch of having pictures taken of the bridal party in the golf carts was so much fun! The gazebo, bridges, and setting made for wonderful pictures. Very nice venue for reception and outdoor ceremony. Large outdoor, beautifully decorated space with outdoor bar. Spacious indoor reception area. The staff were very helpful and did a great job coordinating everything on the day. Did a nice job setting up gift table, sweet table etc. Food was well presented and prepared.\rFelt like we needed a person for some guidance at the on site rehearsal if not using their officiant. I got married at bridges of poplar creek. One of the many reasons we went with it was because we could have our ceremony there as well. When we saw the gazebo, we were sold. It was gorgeous. Jennifer was incredible to work with. She was always quick to respond to my tons of questions I had. The food was delicious. We had the chicken and filet. We also had room for a photo booth and a s'mores bar. I would highly recommend this as a great place to have your ceremony and get married!

We chose Bridges of Poplar Creek because it was close to home (Hoffman Estates) and had the prettiest ceremony site of every place we looked. The golf course is perfect for photos with your groom or wedding party. The banquet room is a nice blank slate to make your own. The food is great too. \r\rWe had a Sunday morning wedding followed by brunch. Our guests and vendors loved having bacon, eggs, and a Bloody Mary bar. We also had a photo booth in the corner for entertainment. \r\rIt really was a perfect day. The staff were wonderful the day of. Jennifer made planning extremely simple for a bride who wanted to keep it all simple. \r\rIf I had it all to do over, I would still have my wedding here!

When we were searching for a wedding venue, we were very concerned with having the wedding we wanted while keeping the wedding within our budget. Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club was such a beautiful venue for a very reasonable price and we are so happy that we chose this venue for both our wedding ceremony and reception. \r\rBridges of Poplar Creek Country Club went above and beyond for all aspects of our wedding. The venue staff was very friendly and responsive, during both the planning process and the wedding weekend. We highly recommend Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club!

When we were searching for a wedding venue, we were very concerned with having the wedding we wanted while keeping the wedding within our budget. Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club was such a beautiful venue for a very reasonable price and we are so happy that we chose this venue for both our wedding ceremony and reception. \r\rBridges of Poplar Creek Country Club went above and beyond for all aspects of our wedding. The venue staff was very friendly and responsive, during both the planning process and the wedding weekend. We highly recommend Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club!

They made accommodations for guests with eating restrictions without any problem. I received many compliments about the wedding from guests. I would recommend this venue to others.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Poplar. Jennifer and Pete were so easy to work with! They were both beyond helpful and had great suggestions for pictures and layouts. They also worked with us to help keep our costs low. \r\rOur guests were very impressed with the ceremony location outside and said they will be recommending Poplar to their friends and family because it was so beautiful.\r\rWe were the only wedding in the building so everything felt intimate and Pete was there from start to finish the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly. \r\rDefinitely one of the best wedding choices we made!

The outside gazebo where the ceremony was performed was the deal breaker for us. It was so beautiful with the lush greenery. The staff was helpful, but some things that were discussed during our first visit changed as the date got closer. There were also some unfortunate circumstances with guests who did not show up that we could not get plates to take home. I wish that would have been discussed with us before. Set up was great and they were available throughout the reception. They held aside appetizers for us, but they were cleaned from the bridal suite before we could get back in. I appreciate them being able to take us on the course for photos. We got a thank you letter mailed to us afterwards, but were disappointed that they thought we had booked a memorial luncheon. I guess it was a busy summer. Overall, we were pretty satisfied, and we had many compliments on the location.

Jennifer coordinated with all of our vendors very professionally and patiently. We had around 75 guests in the Poplar room and also had a photo booth and the room was perfect. After visiting every golf course in the area, and multiple other venues in the suburbs and in Chicago, the moment we walked in and were greeted at Bridges of Poplar Creek we knew it was where we wanted to host our wedding celebration! Jennifer went above and beyond to answer our millions of questions promptly and professionally! Poplar Creek and Jennifer did everything they could to make the planning and implementation as smooth as possible. We were able to bring in our decorations and such a few days before the wedding. The food was DELICIOUS and everyone raved about the appetizers, pretzel encrusted chicken, sirloin, and late night snacks! We upgraded our linens to include table runners, and upgraded linens and chair covers for the head table (only). We loved the windows in the banquet room along with having our outside cocktail hour. They were even able to get us on the golf course earlier for pictures than originally planned! Even though our cocktail hour got moved inside after it started raining and lightening, Jennifer and her staff were beyond accommodating and helped make our guests transition inside smooth. She even incorporated our monogram on our signs that directed our guests at Poplar! A++++++++ Highly recommend!! We can not say enough good things about this place. We would definitely recommend this place to all of our family & friends for any outing, meeting, or wedding.

My husband and I were married at Bridges of Poplar Creek (BoPC) in September. We had the most beautiful setting and reception for our special day. We had an outdoor wedding. We were married in the gazebo and it was really great. I had no difficulty walking down the aisle (in the grass). We took pictures with our wedding party (and just us) on the bridge over the creek and they came out great. \r\rIn addition to holding our wedding there, we also had our reception there. All of the guests remarked at the quality of the food. The food was fabulous. We gave our guests a choice between chicken and salmon (I had salmon) and there were no complaints. The salmon as well as the other dishes were absolutely delicious. But most importantly was the service. Everyone treated us with respect and kindness. They were amenable to all our questions and they met with us to confirm everything a few days prior to our wedding. \r\rI highly recommend BoPC and cannot say enough nice things about the staff and the facility.

I got married at this venue and it was an absolute breeze to work with the staff and plan everything. They are willing to help with anything, always have answers for all your questions, and there is always someone to explain things. The pictures are beautiful and they even brought me beautiful weather!\rThe the things that are included in the contract are actually really great, and make planning a lot easier. The only thing I could ask for is a 3rd microphone (they offer a lapel and a stand mic, which works, but would be better if the bride, groom, and the pastor had their own mic).\rThey let us set up our instruments at the back for an acoustic ceremony and the space is absolutely beautiful.\rWe are a couple with high end taste but a low end budget, but this was everything we envisioned from the minute we walked in the door, until we did our pricing and realized we could actually afford it!\rThe staff is with you from start to finish, and there is a coordinator on site to make sure everything runs smooth.\rExcellent, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, wouldn't get married anywhere else!

The outdoor site was beautiful and perfect for the natural and elegant atmosphere we always wanted. Guests love the outdoor area and have commented that it was one of the nicest places they had ever been to. The outdoor cocktail hour was a special experience that we absoultely loved. Food was great, drinks were great, and reception area upstairs was just perfect. Overall, Poplar Creek did not disappoint! Thanks Poplar!

I just had my ceremony and reception on 9-21-13 at Poplar Creek and couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience. \r\r*The outside ceremony site is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. They provided white chairs and all of the things needed for the officiant (mic, unitiy candle table, ect.) \r\r*We had cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony outside. All of our guests couldn't say enough good things about the appetizers and drinks. We had brushetta, chicken skewers and bbq meatballs. \r\r*The two managagers that helped with planning everything were so helpful! They helped us find our DJ (with photobooth) along with the florist. And one of them was there for the whole day from start to finish and made sure that everything went smoothly. The day of the wedding we had nothing to worry about and everything was PERFECT! \r\r*The dinner was AMAZING! We chose the stuffed chicken entree with a stuffed twice baked potatoe with green beans for everyone, but also offered a vegetarian option that was eggplant parmasean which all of our guest LOVED! \r\r*Their packages included the wedding cake as well which was beautiful and DELISH!!!\r\r*We also had a midnight snack of mini cheeseburgers with sweet potatoe fries and regular french fries. None of our gues went home hungry or unsatisfied.\r\r\rWE WOULD RECCOMMEND POPLAR CREEK TO ANYONE! VERY CLEAN VENUE AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE TO WORK WITH!!!!

My daughter's wedding at the Bridges of Poplar Creek was a seamless event in which every element of the day was expertly choreographed and flawlessly executed. The staff could not possibly be more accommodating and the grounds were in immaculate condition.\r\rJennifer, our coordinator is an expert at managing details and making the process seem simple - even though we all know it's not. Facility manager Pete took care of every request and made sure the entire staff was attentive and engaged. And he stayed with us until the last guest departed - no small accomplishment with considering our gang...\r\rSince reviews are suppose to include both positive and negative I'll throw in that a small investment in a better sound system in the outdoor wedding pavilion would be advisable. We worked around it so it wasn't a big deal. It was limiting but not detrimental.\r\rOverall, a wonder day with a great crew who showed they cared about our families and the experience our guests where able to have. Good people that do a great job.\r\rtd\r

We had our wedding here in February 2013 and had a wonderful experience! I wanted a \"romantic winter wedding\" and the views of the snowy golf course were great. We were even able to take a handful of pictures outside (it was really cold..) From the initial meetings with Jennifer, delicious tastings with Pete, and everything along the way, Bridges helped to make our day perfect. We had so many compliments on the service and food from our guests. I loved the way they set up our cocktail hour and helped with all the little details to make our wedding unique. Highly recommend this venue!!!
