Garden Wedding or Glass Chapel
Brighton Abbey is a unique find in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This breathtaking venue is surrounded by giant trees and gardens. The glass chapel (Abbey) has a bright charm like no others! The event lawn is covered in synthetic grass and has a enchanted secret garden vibe. The lush heavily green garden will create a feeling of being swept away into a fairytale with magical lighting throughout the giant trees. The reception area has been recently updated with new soaring chandeliers and white washed wood floors to accommodate up to 175 guests. It has a built in bar and a recently added outdoor patio to offer guest a beautiful scenic area for cocktail hour. The newly renovated brides room is spectacular. This room will make any girl feel absolutely pampered and special on her perfect day. This room has double sided oval led freestanding salon style mirrors and white salon style chairs. It sparkles and creates a beautiful environment for you and your lifelong friends to share time getting ready to walk down the isle.

We absolutely LOVED our venue and so did our guests for our January wedding (the window chapel even in winter was stunning for our photos!). The chapel and ceremony space are gorgeous alone and required little decor to accentuate its perfection! Also greatly appreciate last minute help on hiccups from our venue coordinate Kennedy! There’s always a small bump in the road and ours was the WEEK BEFORE and she accommodated things so easily and relieved stress so quickly and kindly! Highly recommend!

We absolutely LOVED our venue and so did our guests for our January wedding (the window chapel even in winter was stunning for our photos!). This venue is absolutely breathtaking! The pictures don’t even do it justice. I quickly booked after touring the venue once and was married here on 11/17/2023. This venue is so well thought out down to the smallest details making it the perfect wedding venue that has everything. They were very helpful in accommodating all of the things that were most important and I truly couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.

As soon as I saw this venue I knew this was the one!! It’s so sleek and modern and exactly the style I was looking for! I fell in love with the chapel and how all of the windows let in the beautiful, natural lighting! Kiarah worked with us on our wedding day and she was amazing in making sure we had everything we needed! I couldn’t have picked a better venue and I would highly recommend this beautiful venue to anyone!

This venue is straight out of a European fairytale. It was the perfect size for a wedding of 75 without feeling cramped but still feeling intimate. Everything was beautiful and the staff was helpful. Annie Dale was our venue rep and handled the few issues that came up quickly.

Laurina and Kennedy were extremely amazing throughout the entire wedding process. They communicated so well, had every detail of the wedding organized and honestly were very accommodating with everything. The venue is so beautiful in and out and on my wedding day i fell in love with it even more. I honestly don’t have any complaints.

I had a wonderful experience with Brighton Abbey. I would highly recommend opting in for the month of coordination package. Katelyn was incredibly helpful and helped take on a large amount of the planning six weeks out. She was organized and on top of communication with all the vendors which took a lot of the pressure off of me leading up to the wedding. It was so helpful to have her there to remind me of all the little details that need to be done and are so easy to forget. The day of the wedding I was able to enjoy the day with my family and friends and not worry about anything thanks to Katelyn running the show so well! Truly could not have done it without her and all the other Brighton Abbey staff that helped with the wedding.

Absolutely beautiful venue! So stunning! We got many compliments from our guests! It is smaller sized- probably best for about 150 guests max. We ended up with about that and I don't think we could have held more. My biggest complaint is we could not get ready at the venue. The venue offers 8 hours with the contract, so we added an hour for $1000 and did 12pm-9pm. If we wanted to get ready at the venue, it would've been an extra $1000/hr. I just feel that is ridiculous and not fair to the wedding party. They have a beautiful getting ready section for both bridal party and groom party but it's basically useless unless you want to pay $15k for JUST the venue. The staff was very friendly overall. Also, we did use their bartenders and they are AMAZING. Just be aware about the size and getting ready situation.

Very pretty venue, and the space is great. We had issues with the men’s toilet flooding during our event, and the venue had no one on call to help fix or clean it so our guests had to walk in a wet bathroom. Also, their communication isn’t great and is often times slow.

BA is such a beautiful venue and had the most beautiful day at Brighton Abbey for our wedding. Katelyn was an excellent coordinator and I appreciated her great responsiveness and attention to detail in the process. We were one of the first weekend events to have access to their new courtyard structure and it's great for pics even if you have an indoor ceremony. For budget purposes, you could plan to at minimum rent chairs if you're not looking to use standard white ones that they have one hand. Everything else is really great!

There are several spots on property for beautiful photos. They have a photo booth which was a big bit with the guests. The owners went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

I’d give our venue a 2.5 star rating but I was really torn. On the one hand, it is beautiful and we fell in love right away. On the other hand, communication was not good and the staff was sometimes outright rude when we called to get questions answered. It would take around a week to get a response to simple emails. This made the day much more stressful. On top of that, the venue was very hot the day-of and never cooled down during the night. If it wasn’t for these things, it would be five stars, but it needs some work.

The venue is absolutely beautiful! Our photos were absolutely stunning and we were so excited to have found such a gorgeous space! All we cared about regarding wedding planning was to keep the stress low! We would have accomplished this had it not been for poor treatment and lack of professionalism/communication from venue staff. Although we tried to communicate many times, there were “to do items” like purchasing insurance and other vendor agreement forms, that we were told about at the very last minute (which increases stress). Communication regarding payments and pricing was unnecessarily confusing and we never received any communication regarding reasoning for not receiving our full damage deposit refund. Even on the wedding day there seemed to be tension and other outside vendors were asking why the venue staff seemed upset. We had always been kind so we assumed that it came down to us sticking to our budget and not wanting to add a ton of extra amenities (i.e., bar service, extensive decorations, etc.). Overall I loved the space but my priorities were ensuring everyone felt love and happiness and low stress that day, which we felt was impeded on by overall staff demeanor.

ATTENTION BRIDES!! This review is intended to bring attention to details lacking on Brighton Abbey’s (BA’s) part, prior to anyone signing a contract with them!! Every attempt was made to resolve issues through email with BA. 1. At our 30 day-out walk thru, we were told the guest limit was 175. Our signed contract stated a 200 guest limit. As of today, the BA website states it accommodates 200 guests. 2. Day of wedding (12/11/2021): we enter the bridal suite at 9:00 am to a Terrible SMELL, the commode was clogged, after paying 4 extra hours to use the bridal suite in its entirety. The front desk girl, when told of the issue replied “WE could email Laurina, our day of person.” Laurina was not scheduled to arrive at BA until 2:00 pm. Laurina, Becky (Owner) & Jillian (SM) were emailed by me, and the front desk girl after being told it was her job NOT mine! The toilet was not fixed, no attempt was made to unclog it, other than gardener looking at it. A plumber was not called as the owner Becky “Felt it was impractical with us already getting ready in the bridal suite. We can’t help it if the day-before bridal party flushes a non-toilet item down the commode.” Seriously? So the rest of the weekend brides are just S.O.L. & made to endure the grossness and SMELL! The bridal suite bathroom is large. So a plumber could have easily gone in, shut the door to the bathroom and fixed the problem. The venue did NOT have supplies on hand to render the issue & smell. 3. The bride discovered the sliding glass door was missing in the ballroom. We had planned on closing it and opening it upon the bride & grooms big entrance to the reception. When we asked about the missing door we were told “WE could email Laurina.” The response from owner Becky was “It had been broken the week before, tried to replace it but could not have it back in time. If we knew it was such an important element of your daughters wedding day we would have told you about it.” They made NO attempt prior to the wedding to contact myself, the bride, or our wedding planners about it. BRIDES, when you rent a venue you rent every element of the venue, if any element of the venue becomes unavailable it is the VENUE”S RESPONSIBILITY to contact all parties! They did not! *That said, a few days after the wedding I contacted the owner by email and readdressed the issues. NO APOLOGIES were made at any time until I addressed that fact, and NO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS of extra hours PAID were refunded when asked, nor were they offered. Becky simply replied “Thanks for all the great advice. We will take it into consideration. Have a blessed day.” Our day-of venue person Laurina was delightful, however NEEDS to arrive earlier to handle issues! The front desk person NEEDS to wear a smile, be helpful, not have an I DON’T CARE ATTITUDE! The owner needs a PR person, as she is lacking in that area, & only escalates frustrations with her lack of genuine sincerity. *BRIDES, also note that should you break something BA has no problem charging you for that, BUT if BA has issues there are apparently ZERO refunds or consequences for them. *Make sure to add clauses to your contracts BEFORE signing them, in regards to BA’s liability, problems that arise & issue some sort of compensation to you. That is good business practice! Despite our frustrations with BA & owner Becky, we did not let it take away from the irreplaceable moments of our daughter's wedding day! It was an absolutely beautiful & memorable day!

BRIDES, when you rent a venue you rent every element of the venue, if any element of the venue becomes unavailable it is the VENUE”S RESPONSIBILITY to contact all parties! They did not! *That said, a few days after the wedding I contacted the owner by email and readdressed the issues. NO APOLOGIES were made at any time until I addressed that fact, and NO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS of extra hours PAID were refunded when asked, nor were they offered. Becky simply replied “Thanks for all the great advice. We will take it into consideration. Have a blessed day.” Our day-of venue person Laurina was delightful, however NEEDS to arrive earlier to handle issues! The front desk person NEEDS to wear a smile, be helpful, not have an I DON’T CARE ATTITUDE! The owner needs a PR person, as she is lacking in that area, & only escalates frustrations with her lack of genuine sincerity. *BRIDES, also note that should you break something BA has no problem charging you for that, BUT if BA has issues there are apparently ZERO refunds or consequences for them. *Make sure to add clauses to your contracts BEFORE signing them, in regards to BA’s liability, problems that arise & issue some sort of compensation to you. That is good business practice! Despite our frustrations with BA & owner Becky, we did not let it take away from the irreplaceable moments of our daughter's wedding day! It was an absolutely beautiful & memorable day!

Mother of the Bride - we had our rehearsal here at Brighton Abby! What a beautiful venue! All of the wedding party loved the Bridal Suite and the Grooms suite! I was so impressed with the chapel and grounds! The chapel is bright with scenery with beautiful trees and green grounds. Staff were so incredibly helpful!! Constantly checking on us to see how they could help. Overall, we could not have been happier!

Brighton Abbey is the most beautiful venue we have ever seen. I am so glad that my husband and I chose this place. Every detail of the location is intentional and gorgeous . The chapel is extraordinarily breathtaking. The reception hall is elegant and just the perfect size. 100% of the wedding guests expressed how unique and magnificent Brighton Abbey is. This gem surpassed our expectations. The bridal and groom suites are perfect for photo and preparation needs. Jillian, the venue director, has been so helpful from beginning to end. She gave all the advice we needed that led to a very memorable wedding. Emily Nelson (the venue rep) was very helpful, accommodating, and nice. She made sure that the essentials were secured for and during the wedding. I felt comfortable throughout the process. Sought help when needed and Emily always responded on time and had suggestions/solutions! Felt like a true princess in this incredible venue.

Brighton Abbey was the absolutely perfect place to get married! Not only was the venue absolutely beautiful, but the planning process was so easy. Emily Spinks was wonderful! She responded to all of my emails and questions. She scheduled several times for me to visit the venue. The space was perfect for our event! Brighton Abbey was all the sweet elegance and picturesque beauty in one little spot of North Texas. My decision in choosing this venue was for the gorgeous large windows in the chapel with the balcony area, it fills the chapel with natural light and no matter the time of day, the view is amazing inside and out. I loved the little courtyard in the center that was perfect for entertaining guests during cocktail hour as well as the reception hall that is on the other side. I wish I had gotten ready at the venue instead of the Air BNB that I got nearby (I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you are wanting to get ready there with a large group). Our dressing room was so cute! With a private bathroom, platform with a mirror and two double sided mirror stations for bridesmaids to get ready at. It was so nice to have between events during the wedding. The groom's room had some options for entertainment while they waited and roomy, with a great view of the courtyard. Finally, the thing that both my husband and I can agree on, was the staff and their eye for detail!! With the help of Emily Spinks, our event coordinator, she was there for us and helped with setting up our reception. We also liked that the beverage company that they use, all of our guests said great things about our bartender that night. He knew people by name and knew exactly what they wanted when they approached the bar. Emily helped out all our other vendors get settled and direct them as needed for our day. It was so much fun, not stressful, and such a beautiful place to be for a special day. Thank you so much!

Brighton Abbey is truly a one of a kind venue with a style that is so hard to find in DFW. It is absolutely STUNNING and the staff is all incredible and so accommodating. Brighton Abbey made for an amazing backdrop on our wedding day and we would not change a thing!

Get ready for my novel because OH MY GOODNESS I have nothing but amazing things to say about Brighton Abbey. My husband and I got married here in October 2020 and it is safe to say we were blown away. It is hard to put into words just how STUNNING this venue really is. The French castle theme was dreamy, the chapel was to die for, and the courtyard was just WOW. In addition, ladies if you are looking for a beautiful bridal suite this is it! I just cannot express enough how gorgeous and unique this place is. It had our guests talking about it nonstop and I'm pretty sure our photographer had a field day shooting here haha.I also can't forget the BA team who was so great to work with. I was a bride that really had no idea what I was doing (it does not come natural to me haha) but they stepped up to help me along the way -- huge shout out and thank you to Becky and Jillian who really made this day come together! We truly appreciate all they did to make our day perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
