Bristol Mountain Occasions is the PERFECT place to get married! My husband and I had the most magical wedding day. April and all of the Bristol Mountain Occasions staff made the wedding day absolutely seamless. From the GORGEOUS wedding venue, to the fun ski lift ride, to the stunning views at the summit ceremony, to the delicious food, to the dependable staff, we could not be happier with how our day went. From day one when we picked the venue, April was helpful with presenting information and answering questions. Throughout the year of planning, I knew I could count on April to email me back in a timely manner to answer any/all questions. The final meeting was incredibly organized. Additionally, April takes care of communicating with other vendors so everyone knows expectations for the wedding day.Our wedding day ran like a well-oiled machine. April is an outstanding coordinator with a calming presence. She was on top of making sure everyone/everything was where they needed to be and the timeline was going as planned. She took care of any issues that would arise before I even knew there was an issue. For example, my veil fell off during my first dance with my husband and in a matter of seconds, she picked it up off of the floor as to not ruin any pictures. We are very grateful to have found Bristol Mountain Occasions. Looking back, there is absolutely nothing we would change about our wedding day. Highly recommend this venue! Reviewed on 24-06-2023

We cannot say enough about the exceptional experience we had at Bristol mountain. April, our coordinator, was fantastic, helpful and extremely knowledgeable throughout the process. There wasn’t a single question I threw her way that she didn’t have an answer to. Our entire day went seamlessly because of her hard work and the wonderful staff members. The food surpassed our expectations by far, our guests are still talking about it. The catering staff and bartenders were, friendly, and paid attention to the small details. We moved our ceremony indoors due to weather and had multiple options to accommodate what we were looking for. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Cannery which we highly recommend as well. We had a beautiful day and are so grateful for the wonderful experience we had. Reviewed on 15-11-2023
Ayumi Yuasa(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-10-2022 After we got engaged, we both agreed that we wanted to have a venue that would also showcase the seasonal beauty. We visited three venues prior to Bristol Mountain, but Bristol Mountain was already high on our list because based on their website, we loved the rustic vibe from the lodge and how it was surrounded by mountains. In addition, when comparing other venues’ pricing and our budget, Bristol Mountain was the most reasonable for us and what we were looking for. We were also able to attend a tasting event offered for all couples getting married at Bristol Mountain, and that was very insightful to see how tables could be set up, what the food service would be like, how some popular items tasted, etc. On our wedding day, we loved how friendly and accommodating all the staff members were! Our guests told us how attentive the staff were – from asking if they needed more drinks, bringing over plated food for our gluten-free and vegan guests, to clearing away dirty plates and glasses. Even though this was not their role, we were pleasantly surprised that they helped clean up throughout the evening (when everyone was on the dance floor) by neatly putting away our table arrangements and other decorations into the boxes we brought! The staff and venue truly made our wedding day so special, we cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and beauty of the place!Last but certainly not least, our venue coordinator April Haynos!! We cannot find enough ways to describe just how wonderful April was throughout our entire wedding process!! Perhaps the biggest reason why we chose this venue was because we knew we would be in good hands with April. It was clear that she was highly experienced and knowledgeable in this field, provided us so much information, that she answered all of our questions before us asking, and was very down-to-earth, practical, reasonable, transparent, and professional. I sent countless emails to April with different questions every time for over a year, and every time, she was extremely responsive and answered every single one of my questions, which really helped with our wedding planning process since we were planning everything on our own. While April’s official title is “venue coordinator”, she truly wore multiple hats and always reassured us by saying that she would do everything she possibly could. She was the point-of-contact for all of our vendors, our rehearsal coordinator, and our day-of coordinator by setting up signs to show guests where to go, communicating with our vendors, and coordinating with staff members. She also always had a calm, grounded, and collected demeanor that was reassuring – what could have been major headaches were always resolved with her calm and confident “we can work with that” attitude and mindset. Lastly, she became our friend throughout the process and always had our best interests in mind – she let us know of exciting news when Rocket Lodge was filling in the circular hole before our wedding (more floor space!), asked us if she could grab us drinks after our ceremony so she could put it on our tables while we were taking photos, and checked in with us to make sure we were having a great time at our wedding. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you April for making our once-in-a-lifetime event an experience we (and our families and guests) will always look fondly back on – you are truly the best!! Rhianna Hayes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2021 Bristol Mountain was so lovely and accommodating. Our event coordinator April was a pleasure to work with and she made sure that everything went smoothly. The mountain is a perfect backdrop for a fall wedding, and the fact that they offer fireworks as an option for their wedding package was something that added an extra special touch to our wedding day. Our guests loved the venue and we heard nothing but positive feedback about how everything turned out. If you’re looking for a rustic, somewhat unique, and laid back venue for your wedding, I highly recommend Bristol Mountain. Reviewed on 31-10-2021
Casey Johnston(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-10-2014 For not being a typical wedding venue it was awesome! Food was wonderful, they did an awesome job setting up tables, chairs and getting the number of high chairs needed. They let us bring decorations and make it truly own own. I would recommend Bristol Mountain to anyone looking for a rustic wedding where the trees and beauty of the surrounding mountains bring it all together. Reviewed on 21-10-2014

Sheila Morris(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2011 Our wedding ceremony and reception were held here and we were overall pleased with the experience, but there were some issues that could have been improved. For instance, the wireless microphone that was intended to be used during our ceremony was not operating correctly outside, so any of our guests who were not within earshot, could not hear us! When the event coordinator, Frank, was approached about this, he shrugged and said, “Nothing I can do about it, batteries sometimes die!” This of course infuriated me because it was something that should have been checked prior to the event taking place! Many people did have difficulty hearing, too, because there were only 80 chairs set up on the patio for about 150 people, so many people had to stand the whole time! Good thing it was a short ceremony! Also, earlier in the day, before our ceremony, the ATM held within the lodge wasn’t working. I wanted to withdraw cash to tip our DJ and photographers, but when I approached Frank, he simply stated, “I can’t do anything about that…”, which is not true because obviously someone services the machine, and he could have made a call to try to remedy the situation. Instead, the ATM remained broken all night and guests could not use it when there was a cash bar during dinner. We also had a minor issue with the open bar option, as the bar staff was charging for beer at the beginning of the event. This was later resolved, but some people still had to pay for beer at an open bar earlier in the night, even though it was our arrangement that everything was to be included as part of our bill!! One thing that upset me before our event took place was that they were not able to provide any food samples for us so that we could choose what dishes to offer. I wouldn’t expect him to make a whole prime rib for us to sample, but some of the description for the chicken dishes were vague or unfamiliar to us, so it would have been nice to know exactly what we were choosing and would be serving to our friends and family. \r On the positive side, the food was excellent and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. The venue was adequate in size for a wedding with 150 guests. The scenery is amazing since you are surrounded by mountains, and it is relatively private. The event package—which includes use of the outdoor patio and gazebo, use of outdoor chairs (but only 80), 25 guest tables and a head table, all linens, utensils, and glasses, plus add-ons, such as the bar options, hor’dourves for cocktail hour, etc.—was very reasonable, and we actually came in under budget! The coordinator, Frank, also made sure everything was set up and taken down with care. He, for the most part, was patient with me when answering any questions or concerns I had. Reviewed on 25-10-2011
