Helen and her family were wonderful hosts. They attended to our every want and need. They went above and beyond our expectations and threw in somethings we weren’t even expecting. They made us feel comfortable, they worked within our budget and created a specialized package just for us. The location is beautiful in a lovely wooded area, including a pond, cabins and hiking trails. The pavilion with the fire place was spectacular and a favorite of our wedding guests. The bar area was cozy and inviting. If you are looking for a rustic, outdoor, country charming wedding with modern amenities Brookledge is the perfect spot.

Everything from start to finish was amazing! Helen was friendly, professional and always available! You could tell she genuinely cared about us and ensuring the day went flawlessly! Helen, her family and her team were fantastic and if you're looking for an amazing day, surrounded by friends, family and beautiful nature, then Brookledge is that place! We are so thankful for this place.

I recently officiated a wedding at this beautiful outdoor venue. In addition to the lovely ceremony setting and the inviting reception set up, the staff was top notch. The owner and event manager were always at hand when I had a question, and they made sure the ceremony went off smoothly and on time.

My husband and I's wedding was July 29th and we couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. Everyone at Brookledge was amazing and so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Each and every one of the vendors worked closely with us to make sure every detail was accounted for and it turned out how we imagined it. Even though we ended up getting some last-minute rain, the day was incredibly beautiful and everything we could have hoped for thanks to the staff. Everyone we worked with was professional, friendly, and strove to do their best. Each of the spaces were beautiful and showed how much thought and love has been put into them. The owners have done a fantastic job transforming Brookledge into what it is today and we are honored to have been a part of it.

Brookledge is a tree lined, tucked away gem! It feels cozy and spacious at the same time. So much thought and care was put into the cabins, it made for an inviting and comfy stay. There’s so much to explore here and made for so many incredible photo ops. This “Summer Camp” venue is even a perfect get-a-way in the Winter, Spring or Fall. Helen, the owner is so attentive and makes your time there a unique experience. She’s got a bright, inviting personality and is quick to laugh and make you feel comfortable. She was always right there on site and doing whatever she could to make sure it was a perfect day. If you are looking for a rustic or woodsy wedding in Upstate New York, this is your place!

Brookledge is a unique and beautiful setting surrounded by nature. The cabins that are located on the property are beautiful, they exude a warmth and welcoming feeling the moment you step foot in them. I am confident that anyone who visits will fall in love with everything Brookledge has to offer. If you love Nature and uniqueness go check them out!!!

Meet the Brookledge Team
Helen Christopher (Owner) Helen Christopher, a former elementary teacher turned hospitable host and wedding owner in Upstate New York. In 2021, she bought a former girls summer camp called Brookledge which offers guests 60 acres of cabins, glamping tents and event space. As owner, she helps guests reconnect with nature and disconnect from their hectic lives. She now lives with her family and two dogs in what was once the nurse’s office at Brookledge and enjoys camp life every day.
