Seriously... The best decision we ever made was to get married at the Brookshire! Mary Ann and Melissa guided us through all the ins and outs of the big day making sure we didn't forget one single detail. And let me tell you, for all you first time brides, there is a ton you don't even think about! The setting is gorgeous and offers your photographer many great opportunities for the \"perfect shot\". The staff that took care of us the day of our wedding continued the amazing service. They continued to update me on everything going on, what to expect and kept our guests happy! Out of 150 people that we had at our wedding, there wasn't a single complaint. THAT IS HUGE! Think about it, 150 people, all in one room at one time, and NO ONE had anything negative to say about the food, the location, the \"should haves\" or the \"could haves\"-AMAZING! We chose to offer our guests a buffet style experience for the dinner. Let me just say.... If you are looking for a place that WOW's your guests with a beautiful location, an open reception hall with windows covering three of the four walls, amazing staff, food that literally melts in your mouth, drinks that kept the good times going and an owner/event planner that helps you along the way, Brookshire is the place to go!

My husband and I got married at Brookshire in June 2020. We had a fantastic experience! We were fortunate enough to be able to keep our original wedding date with some slight modifications. The event staff at Brookshire was very accommodating by allowing us to spread out the tables to allow social distancing and even allowed us to reserve a few tables outdoors. The food was great and the facility is beautiful! It really was the helpful staff that took the event to the next level though. Thank you to the catering and event staff for making our wedding unforgettable!

Brookshire Inn was nothing short of AMAZING for my wedding in August of 2020! Planning a wedding during a pandemic is obviously not what any bride wants to do! Melissa was incredible! She was understanding, accommodating, and genuinely wanted the best for my husband and I. We had to cancel our original date, and reschedule. This is not normally an outdoor venue but they went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to host it outdoors. Everything was BEAUTIFUL! My husband and I had our wedding reception at Brookshire in August 2020 and it was perfect! Right in the midst of COVID, it was definitely stressful planning a wedding, but Brookshire was flexible with us when trying to adjust to the new Orders that went out right before. We ended up having our reception outside on the patio and it was absolutely beautiful! We all had an amazing time and the food was unbelievably delicious; we've been craving it ever since! The staff were very helpful and made everyone feel welcome. I would highly recommend Brookshire to anyone looking for a great time in a wonderful environment!

I had my wedding and reception in August 2019 at Brookshire Inn and Golf Club.Staff were amazing to work with and made everything seem so effortless. It really helped me relax as a bride knowing that they were just a phone call (text or email) away! I felt like I was bugging them with all my million questions but they always answered right back so quickly with an upbeat tone!My wedding was perfect. Exactly what I dreamed it would be.Friends and Family helped me decorate, the staff also helped set up decor the day of with chair covers and lighting and my 200 guests were blown away!Everyone was able to move around comfortably. I couldn't have imagined my day any other way. It was an absolute fairy tale.

Melissa and Mary Ann were amazing to work with throughout the planning process and responded very quickly to any questions. We really appreciated the option to do a morning wedding with a brunch to follow, as this made it super affordable and kept us under our budget. When it came to the wedding day I was not worried about the venue or food and someone was there the whole time for us to work with if we needed any help. This was the most beautiful place for our wedding ever! The venue could not have been better. The staff was amazing. They were there to greet us and show us around. They answered every question we had and were so helpful. The table and chair decorations were gorgeous! The outdoor ceremony venue was breathtaking with the flower garden and flower arc. I got so many compliments about how the venue looked. There were so many great places to take photos and get some amazing shots (we ended up with well over 500). The Bridal suite was a great place to get ready, especially with the kitchen and bar near to get food and drinks. We are so thankful to the staff at Brookshire for being so amazing and hardworking. We cannot thank you enough!

We had our September 2019 wedding ceremony and reception at the Brookshire and it was phenomenal. Everything was excellent from communication leading up to our wedding. It made wedding planning far less stressful by having most things taken care of by the staff there. The location was excellent and the food and drinks were delicious. My husband and I left over the moon and many of our guests spoke well of the venue after the fact.

We had our wedding here this past summer and it was the perfect day. Everyone tells you things will go wrong and you just need to go with the flow, but to this day I dont know of any issues that we had with any part of our wedding or reception. It was perfect, the landscaping was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the drinks kept coming. And not to mention it was one of the most cost effective venues we could find in the area. Mary Ann and Melissa were amazingly patient with me... and my nonsensical questions that I kept throwing at them probably every week for a year. They let me do as many walk throughs as I wanted to make sure I was happy with everything. We did our rehearsal dinner there the night before, it was great, we got a bunch of pizzas and drinks and we were able to decorate, practice the ceremony, and have a good time ( I do have to admit I was so nervous the night before that I physically felt ill so I didnt get to enjoy the pizza and drinks but everyone else said it was great). The day of we were able to get ready in the room upstairs which was cozy but had some awesome lighting for pictures. The ceremony itself went so smoothly, Jim was great and calm and just made sure it all happened like it was supposed to. Even though we had a large crowd and a lot of our guests were standing around it felt super intimate and exactly what we wanted. And then afterwards we just had a huge party which was what we wanted. The grounds itself offers tons of cool photo opportunities ( we did some sunset ones on a bridge ). Overall 10/10 would recommend.

Our wedding at Brookshire went perfectly. We had the ceremony on the grounds, where they have beautiful landscaping. Then our reception was conveniently in the banquet room. Our 80 guests fit comfortably in the banquet room. The banquet room has wall-to-wall windows and a high ceiling, and doesn't look outdated inside like a lot of places. Jim did a great job directing everyone on our wedding day. We chose a buffet style dinner of chicken and lasagna, and we were happy with our food. I loved my experience here!

We had our wedding reception at Brookshire and they did an amazing job! They worked great at accommodating our guests with food sensitivities by providing gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan meals. The staff was amazing all night too and was always willing to help with something. The room itself is beautiful and spacious and has lots of windows which bring in a lot of light. For a fee, you could also have tulle and lights draped from the windows. They also worked with us when we wanted to have chairs rented, and made space when we had both a DJ and live dinner music. I would definitely recommend Brookshire to anyone who wants a semi-formal, mid-sized wedding.

Words cannot describe how perfect my wedding was thanks to this venue and its staff. The scenery was beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful, and the food was delicious. The communication was outstanding, they were always quick to answer my questions and did what they could to help me. The ground were kept up and staff was available to help keep golfers out of the way during the procession. The whole day flowed smoothly thanks to the staff and coordinators. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have an amazing wedding without breaking the bank. We had a morning ceremony with a lunch reception and it was perfect. We were able to pay cash and start our marriage off free of debt. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

The food was hot and delicious. The table linens were crisp and clean. The service was great and food arrived on time and everything flowed smoothly. They went above and beyond! The natural lighting in the room was wonderful and so was the view of the lush green golf course. I would definitely recommend it!

I have never planned any event as large as my wedding - Mary Ann, Melissa, and Jim made sure the day went absolutely perfect. Mary Ann and Melissa helped plan the details and discussed a lot of things I had not even though to have considered. On my wedding day, Jim was there and he was nothing short of amazing. Things came up and I had questions and Jim was there with solutions, fixes, and reassurance that it would be a great day. My guests raved about the food - teriyaki chicken and stuffed shells with broccoli and roasted redskin potatoes. Honestly, I cannot think of anything I would change about the venue - they were all phenomenal to work with!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Brookshire Inn on Sunday May 27 and it was incredibly HOT outside! I cannot rave enough about how well we were taken care of! There was a server that made sure me and my girls were taken care of while getting ready, as well as taking care of all of us outside during our pictures and bringing us drinks on a very, very hot Sunday afternoon. The inside reception area stayed nice and cool for our guests, which we were all grateful for! Mary Ann and Melissa were so incredibly helpful and informative and fast to respond to us during the entire planning process. The dinner buffet was absolutely delicious and our guess were insanely happy (we had the pot roast, salmon, and stuffed shells). The wait staff and bar staff were genuinely nice and accommodating, as well as their manager, Jim. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The tables were cleared off quickly, and I never had to ask for something to be taken care of. They are extremely professional and experienced! I was so incredibly happy with the entire experience that I would not even hesitate to do it all over again the exact same way! I cannot thank you all enough for helping make our day as perfect as it could have been!! I would recommend Brookshire Inn for any and every occasion. They made sure that everything was taken care of so that we could mingle with our guests instead of micromanage and our day was absolutely perfect! And they have late hours, so we didn't feel rushed to get out at all! We've been coming here for years and I see us coming here for many, many more! I will definitely be reserving the location for our anniversary parties as well! Thank you guys so very much! I would give them a million stars if I could! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Brookshire Inn on Sunday May 27 and it was incredibly HOT outside! I cannot rave enough about how well we were taken care of! There was a server that made sure me and my girls were taken care of while getting ready, as well as taking care of all of us outside during our pictures and bringing us drinks on a very, very hot Sunday afternoon. The inside reception area stayed nice and cool for our guests, which we were all grateful for! Mary Ann and Melissa were so incredibly helpful and informative and fast to respond to us during the entire planning process. The dinner buffet was absolutely delicious and our guess were insanely happy (we had the pot roast, salmon, and stuffed shells). The wait staff and bar staff were genuinely nice and accommodating, as well as their manager, Jim. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The tables were cleared off quickly, and I never had to ask for something to be taken care of. They are extremely professional and experienced! I was so incredibly happy with the entire experience that I would not even hesitate to do it all over again the exact same way! I cannot thank you all enough for helping make our day as perfect as it could have been!! I would recommend Brookshire Inn for any and every occasion. They made sure that everything was taken care of so that we could mingle with our guests instead of micromanage and our day was absolutely perfect! And they have late hours, so we didn't feel rushed to get out at all! We've been coming here for years and I see us coming here for many, many more! I will definitely be reserving the location for our anniversary parties as well! Thank you guys so very much! I would give them a million stars if I could! I am so thankful that I chose the Brookshire for our wedding reception. Everything was absolutely amazing. Maryann and Melissa were so kind and willing to answer whatever questions I had. They were attentive to detail, quick to respond, and the venue provided an amazing atmosphere. The staff was so quick to serve our guests and it made the entire night run smoothly. The banquet hall was clean, the drinks were amazing, and the food was outstanding! We would definitely recommend anyone getting married or in need of a banquet hall to head to the Brookshire.

We had our wedding at Brookshire on October 1, 2016 and I have to say it went seamlessly. Maryann and Melissa were super helpful, everything I asked of them was done, and done quickly. Our guests raved about the wedding, and what a great time they had. Even their staff was complementary to us! We had one guest with very specific dietary restrictions, they accommodated her no questions asked and no additional charges. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day with a venue that allowed me to be a less stressed bride.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous so we were hoping to hold the ceremony outside, but due to weather had to move it indoors. They were so helpful on getting things arranged quickly for an indoor ceremony. Thankfully the weather cleared and were able to take advantage of the beautiful grounds for photos. Reception was outstanding and the food was wonderful. Mary Ann and Melissa are both awesome to work with and accommodated all of our needs and requests. Many compliments from our guests!!

The wedding was an outdoor ceremony and the grounds view was beautiful. Wonderful pictures. The reception hall is wonderful and lots of windows and scenery. The food was just as wonderful and ready at the exact time asked. The reception staff was the best ever and did everything to make my day easier. Everything was exactly as asked. We were had our event on January 16th, 2016, we got married in Lansing then Brookshire was our reception site. It was about a 15-20 minute commute, fortunately we did not have crazy weather the day of the event. From the beginning, Mary Ann and Melissa were punctual, accessible, organized and accommodating. They even offered to set up our decorations if we ran out of time, fortunately we didn't. We had 115 people at the wedding and received feedback from our guests everything was well spaced. The staffing at the venue on the day-of were fantastic! They were so nice and encouraging and ultimately felt like an extension of Mary Ann & Melissa. Additionally, I was able to order one specialty meal for a vegan guest with no additional charge. When we met with Mary Ann a month before, she was able to lay out the entire event and helped figure out number of tables and which would be removed. All around a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend this location for a winter reception!

Mary Ann and Melissa provided us with all the guidance and support we needed to make our day perfect and stress free. Our outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful with magnificent landscaping & flowers with the golf course as the backdrop. The food and drinks were wonderful and very well priced. Many of my guests have shared that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have attended and I attribute this strongly to the Brookshire!

We attended a Wedding here, it was very nice. The view of the course was beautiful. Food was good, and staff very nice. The only downside is the room was a little cramped, but cozy. Overall our friends were happy with their choice, and recommend it to others.

I had a great time. The tables were set up beautiful. Maryann & Melissa helped with a lot of the little details in the wedding that I wasn't sure about or missed. Considering it was a hot day, the room was kept pretty cool. And I was able to have a beer pong table on the patio. Wonderful venue, wonderful night

We just recently got married here at the Brookshire inn and golf club. We had a fabulous day! Mary Ann and Melissa were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They were so quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. Our outdoor ceremony was beautiful everything was very nicely landscaped and the scenery was gorgeous! We had a large wedding and some guest were seated outside on there deck. Which most of them liked that idea. I would recommend having your Dj put a speaker outside so your guest can hear what is going on. The banquet room is very open with huge open windows facing the golf course. We received a lot complements on how great the food was! We had a great time! I'm so glad that we chose the brookshire for our wedding venue! I would definitely recommend it to others especially if your looking for an outdoor ceremony!

They had great recommendations and made the planning stress-free. The outdoor ceremony area has natural beauty that does not require any additional decorating. The reception hall also is beautiful with 3 walls of windows. Food was excellent. Drinks were great. Staff was so courteous, reliable, went above and beyond. To top it all off, the Brookshire was a budget-friendly venue. It was great to be able to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about a thing- the Brookshire staff had everything covered! Highly recommend this venue!

We recently had our wedding reception at Brookshire back in May--it was a beautiful day to remember! A big thanks to Mary Ann, the wedding coordinator! She was very personable and you can tell she has been doing this for a long time. We had somewhere between 175-190 people, which they were able to accommodate perfectly. The venue has beautiful windows surrounding the room, which allowed for a positively beautiful environment! The kids also had SO much fun playing outside on the pond. Our guests loved the uniqueness Brookshire offers, compared to some other cookie cutter reception halls, and the back porch provided a great 'hang out' area for our friends. Mary Ann was especially accommodating with our Photobooth and confidently took charge of the details.\r\r

This venue is a lovely location for an outdoor wedding. The banquet room is nice and open, with windows looking out on the surrounding scenery. The accommodate your linen needs, and the food is excellent, especially for the reasonable prices!\r\rOn the day of our wedding, the schedule fell behind due to the late arrival of a grandparent. The staff was constantly checking in to make sure our dinner time would coincide with when we would actually be ready to head. The servers were prompt, courteous, and consistently asking me if there was anything else they could do or anything else I needed. I did take them up on their offer, and they helped me hide a special ice cream cake for my groom, which was delivered to our table after the cake cutting. They also packed \"to go\" boxes of food for us (the bride and groom), as we were too excited to be hungry at the reception, but knew we would be hungry later! The garlic mashed potatoes, ribs, and veggie lasagna all still stick out in my mind. \r\rI would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding that is affordable yet classic. Will be going back for dinner for many years to come!

The servers were prompt, courteous, and consistently asking me if there was anything else they could do or anything else I needed. I did take them up on their offer, and they helped me hide a special ice cream cake for my groom, which was delivered to our table after the cake cutting. They also packed \"to go\" boxes of food for us (the bride and groom), as we were too excited to be hungry at the reception, but knew we would be hungry later! The garlic mashed potatoes, ribs, and veggie lasagna all still stick out in my mind. \r\rI would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding that is affordable yet classic. Will be going back for dinner for many years to come!

Since having my reception at the Brookshire I have received so many compliments from my guests! Myself, my husband and my guests had a wonderful time at our ceremony and reception. We had a little over 150 guests attend our ceremony (held in the garden) and reception at Brookshire. From the beginning I was worried about all the many details of planning my wedding day. After meeting with Mary Ann my worries completed disappeared. She was reassuring and help me plan everything down to the day of reception. The food was delicous and the staff was SO helpful. I wanted my quests to enjoy themselves and I was glad that I exceeded their expectations. It was everything I hoped it would be and more!

Rehearsal dinner---I had an extremely hard time getting a hold of Mary Anne, the banquet coordinator. I had to leave several messages before I would get a response. It was quite frustrating! When I got someone who would actually answer questions (when everyone else kept saying \"oh you have to talk to Mary Anne), I was given the wrong information!! Ugh! Frustrating!\r\rThen we got there the night of the dinner, we found out that we were sharing the room with another party....WHICH WE NEVER EVEN TOLD!! It would have been nice of them to ask if we were ok with that...it was so rude that they just threw up a little partition-which didn't keep the noise from carrying over. I was pretty disappointed with that....not to mention that my mother-in-law was extremely pissed!! Not a great way to start a \"wedding weekend.\" \r\rService was pretty slow too...took over 2 hours to get the full dinner in. The food was good though & the staff was nice... that kind of saved them I guess!

My day was everything I hoped for and more... We booked our wedding with Maryanne, the wedding coordinator, almost a year ago. From the beginning she put us at ease. She helped with eveything from the flowers to the dj, which made my job so much easier. She even made me a check list for me (since I am not the most organized person) as to when I was going to need to have things done. The room (which overlooks the golf course)was beautiful the day of our reception and the food was even better. I already have a girl friend that has booked her reception there because she enjoyed mine so much. Great value, good food and a wonderful experience!

The staff was accommodating and kind. I felt that we got a great value on everything!\r\rThe only thing that I didn't like was that the head table was taken away (we knew this would happen because it was on the dance floor), but all of our things disappeared. Husband and I had full glasses of wine (which they kindly refilled on our dollar...), bags for the dollar dance were moved, husband had a full plate of food thrown away. It would have been nice if they'd warned us that they were removing it and allowed us to gather our things first.
