An unexpected oasis in the heart of the city.
Bryant Park Grill is cozily situated behind the landmark New York Public Library in the delightful oasis of Manhattan's Bryant Park surrounded by London Planetrees modeled after those at the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. Sophisticated and romantic, the restaurant is comprised of three areas: the Rooftop Terrace, the South Garden, and the Interior Grill Dining Room. From the first meeting to the very last toast, our dedicated team of event planners will do everything to ensure your wedding feels exclusive and- most importantly - designed just for you. Services Offered A variety of all-inclusive packages are available for your perusal. All packages include the cost of chairs, tables, glassware, flatware, china, and floor length linens. Setup and cleanup service is always provided. Chair covers, a dance floor, a tent and tent accessories, and general decor can be added to your package if desired. All areas are wheelchair accessible. Cuisine Chef Gadi Weinreich and Pastry Chef Anne-Marie Noonan are happy to craft a wedding day menu that meets your needs and dietary preferences. Both plated and buffet-style options are available, and passed hors d’oeuvres and stations of your choice are served during your cocktail hour. A chocolate fountain can be added to your package upon request. Bryant Park Grill features an extensive whiskey selection and a variety of classic cocktails. While you will need to secure an outside cake vendor, Bryant Park Grill is happy to provide complimentary cake cutting services. Location Bryant Park Grill is conveniently situated within the city’s beloved Bryant Park just behind the landmark New York Public Library. A variety of park activities and excursions including ice skating, film festivals, and more are available but dependent on the season.

My husband and I were over the moon with our experience at Bryant Park Grill! The team was so supportive and helpful, and truly made our day amazing. The rooftop was incredible - highly recommend using the rooftop open-air if you can, the surroundings made for a magical cocktail hour (not to mention the incredible food, our friends couldn't stop raving!) There was always a waiter to help anyone who needed anything, and they were so kind to my 3/6 year old nieces as well. The amount of food and drink that our guests enjoyed was truly out of this world, and the quality of food and service was top notch.Diane made sure our day was stress free, but checked in regularly to make sure things stayed on track. Before the wedding day, Kristi gave us the most amazing tasting, and helped realize our vision. Her energy, honesty, and genuine excitement for us was a big part of what made Bryant Park Grill feel like the right choice. I highly recommend making a visit to Bryant Park Grill for your wedding reception considerations. Everyone loved it!

BPG is beautiful and iconic. I'd request Kristi as your sales contact if possible, and avoid Alex. And - obviously - get everything not just in writing but in the contract. We had our reception at BPG in April 2023 and it was truly the perfect day! We worked with both Dominic and Linda to coordinate our vendors and setup and they were both amazing. Both were very responsive and easy to work with. The venue is the perfect aesthetic in addition to being spacious, clean and beautiful. The food and drinks were amazing, all of our guests raved about it! We can't wait to return for an anniversary dinner!

Book this venue!!! I had my wedding at the Bryant Park Grill two weeks ago and it was incredible. Unfortunately, our original venue closed down 6 months before our wedding date and the staff at the Bryant Park Grill took over and made our wedding day incredible! Choosing Bryant Park Grill as our venue was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process, and we would rate our experience 10 stars if possible! It uniquely captures both the classic New York city essence, while the beautiful rooftop also brings in the nature & outdoor elements we were dreaming of, not to mention the iconic NY Public Library backdrop. Even though we were in the center of Manhattan, it still felt very private and peaceful. Kristi was exceptional through the planning process; she was highly responsive (often responding to emails late at night and on weekends), professional, and flexible with our vendors. She always put us at ease, and her years of expertise were very apparent! We are very grateful to have had her on our team! Diane did a flawless job leading the BPG team day-of to execute our vision for the wedding. I was a fairly detail-oriented / type-A bride, and day-of everything went absolutely perfect with zero hiccups, exceeding our expectations, and we know how much of this was due to Diane running everything so well in the background and Kristi's work ahead of the wedding day. All of our guests raved about the venue and especially the food, which was stellar given BPG is also a great restaurant.

How fresh the dinner was and the entire look and feeling, the word used most was MAGICAL! My husband and I are to blessed to have found such a wonderful venue and if we could do it all again we would. It will be a day that will go down in memory as one of the most beautiful, fulfilling days myself and my husband have experienced. There is something special about getting married at Bryant Park Grill - it must be beauty of the park juxtaposed with the quintessential skyscrapers of NYC. We didn't think a NYC wedding would be possible, until we found the hidden gem of Bryant Park Grill!We will be forever grateful to Bryant Park Grill, especially Kristi and Tom, for their professionalism, kindness, creativity, expertise, and understanding. True character is put to the test when times get tough, and Bryant Park Grill constantly delivered, especially during the crazy times of Covid. The team truly puts all their heart and energy into ensuring your event is everything you imagined and more. Kristi was with us throughout the entire process, from ensuring we were on track with our checklist to helping with details for the venue on the big day, and she was tremendous! Kristi at the Bryant Park Grill did a terrific job with our wedding. I was so impressed with her responsiveness, attention to detail, skill, and expertise. She’s a tour de force of customer service. She helped us plan from start to finish. The entire planning process was approximately 15 months and I probably sent her a million emails with my neurotic thoughts and questions but she never tired and always responded quickly and with great insight. She is really amazing! She has so much experience planning weddings that she made it seem easy. She is probably juggling multiple events at the same time but she had a unique skill of making us feel like we were her only client and her top priority. You don’t even need to spend on a wedding planner because Kristi and Tom (the day of coordinator, also great) handle everything. 5 stars. Also, the venue is beautiful. We saved money on flowers because the greenery in the park, and the flowers on the roof top are so beautiful as-is. Our florist did a great job but we didn’t need too many flowers because the venue is so spectacular. If we could do it all over again, and I would still choose Bryant Park Grill.

5 stars all around!!! We absolutely loved having our rehearsal dinner at Bryant Park Grill. It was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing (our friends and family are still talking about it), and most importantly, the people working there are incredible. Kristi and Tom F. made sure our rehearsal dinner was flawless, and that my husband and I actually got to enjoy the event without any stress. From the moment we met with Kristi to walk through the restaurant we knew we were in good hands. There was not a single detail she did not think of, from the flow of cocktail hour to dinner, music, ambiance, lighting, room layout- it was incredible. Tom made sure the night of was flawless and he was two steps ahead of everything. Both of them even met with our 2 friends who were MCs for the night to go through the flow of speeches with the other details for the evening .. just so impressed!). Our friends and family left the dinner saying it felt like a wedding and we couldn’t be happier and more thankful to the BPG staff for everything. We highly recommend Bryant Park grill!

We fell in love with BPG pre-pandemic. We went to visit BPGrill one night in February and after meeting with Kristi and seeing the space we knew immediately we had to get married there! We were fortunate enough to lock in this iconic NYC venue for our wedding on 10/30/21. Our guest list was just under 100x people, given the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic. In terms of planning, we were nervous about choosing not to work with an outside wedding coordinator since BPG (specifically Kristi Ohlin) had mentioned she and her team had everything covered. AND THEY REALLY DID! I can't even being to express how thankful I am for all of Kristi's help and expertise throughout our planning process! Kristi was incredibly responsive and recommended amazing vendors to work with throughout the way. The week leading up to our wedding we got to meet Tom. We immediately felt at ease! Between Tom and Kristi, my Husband and I knew every single thing would be covered and we could genuinely enjoy our wedding day. Not only did both Tom and Kristi ensure every detail went as planned, they also made sure every single family member and guest was accommodated. As far as the venue, it doesn't get much better than this. Aside from the iconic views and location, the food is unlike any food you'll ever have at wedding. It was amazing! All our guests could not get over how delicious everything was and how much they had to offer. The perks of having your reception at a restaurant like this. The BPGrill staff were all amazingly attentive as well and made sure everyone had what they needed at all times. It was truly the most special night of our lives. We are so happy we chose Bryant Park Grill and we'll be forever grateful for all the help both Tom and Kristi, and the rest of the team provided us.

Honestly (and I know I am biased as I was hosting), but this is the best wedding venue I have ever been to. An absolute dream wedding if you have a chance to have it here. Not only were they incredibly accommodating after 3 date changes over 2 years due to Covid, but once I finally had my wedding this past weekend, it was absolutely flawless, especially thanks to Emma who worked with us over the planning and Tom who executed. The guests could not stop talking about the amazing food and impeccable service. Besides that, the venue itself is iconic NY and an unforgettable magical space in the middle of Manhattan. You can’t go wrong choosing Bryant park as your venue.

Our daughter's wedding was originally scheduled for October, 2020 but due to the pandemic we postponed the celebration until September, 2021. Since my husband and I were hosting the event, making this decision was not easy and, quite frankly, it was a heartbreak. However, thanks in huge part to Linda Belgodere in Special Events & Catering, we were able to change the date without any problem, ride the twists and turns of Covid restrictions, and finally have a long-awaited wedding more magnificent than we could have hoped for! Linda was patient, always available to answer our ever-changing inquiries, professional, easy to work with, incredibly flexible and accommodating, and downright fun to speak with! She always had wonderful suggestions and never pressured us. Everything she promised regarding the event set-up, flow, caliber and abundance of food, service, and more was delivered to perfection! Hats off to Tom who was on-site the day of the wedding to manage every single detail. A special nod to amazing chef Gadi Weinreich and his pastry chef too. More than a month after the wedding, our friends and family are still raving about the cocktail hour and dinner! The food was outstanding and the presentation was fantastic. Even our vegan and peanut-allergic guests were happily accommodated. The magical city allure of this iconic location wowed everyone and this magic was palpable throughout the evening! We lost count of how many guests commented that this was definitely the best wedding they’d ever attended! We received an exceptional level of personalized attention that's not always found or felt amidst the bustling of NYC. We truly had a PERFECT evening...a beautiful rooftop ceremony followed by a breathtaking cocktail hour (also on the rooftop) overlooking the park, an elegant dinner in the garden, followed by nonstop dancing and scrumptious desserts in the grill dining room. This was undoubtedly the quintessential NYC wedding that not only my daughter and son in law had dreamed of, but that my husband and I had envisioned as well! When we first put down our deposit to reserve Bryant Park Grill as our wedding venue, we did so with great apprehension. It was summer 2020 and NYC was in the throes of the early COVID crisis. Our list of concerns knew no end, but we knew that we wanted a beautiful NYC wedding and knew that BPG was a special venue that could help us achieve our wedding dreams.Fast forward to 2021, and we could not be happier with our selection of BPG as our wedding venue. Emma, Tom, and the BPG team certainly had their work cut out for them… between constantly shifting COVID guidelines and lots of complex and competing interests and stakeholders, they handled themselves with extraordinary professionalism and poise.They spared no effort in accommodating our every request, from the floor plan to the food to small details like ensuring all the linens were steamed and wrinkle-free. Our guests were positively floored with how gorgeous the event was and we were completely stunned that every single detail went exactly as planned. It was a truly magical night and, looking back, we can’t think of a single thing we would have changed. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful to Emma, Tom, and the entire Bryant Park Grill staff.

It was the perfect wedding. Weeks after our wedding, our guests continued to rave about the venue, the food, the staff, the location, the service. Some guests loved it so much they returned to the restaurant for lunch. Our older guests have said that it was the best wedding they have been to and I know Bryant Park made that possible. Our guests were most impressed by the hors d’oeuvre service. They raved about the quality and quantity. Guests have also commented on how accommodating the staff were with our guests requests. I heard that a guest said he wanted a latke without the smoked salmon and minutes later one was brought. Little things like that make a big difference. It was so good! The seating arrangement was also perfect. Even though it was a small wedding it never felt empty. You did an excellent job utilizing the space to make it feel full. It was the perfect evening. The best night of our lives. Thank you to you and to the staff for making it perfect.

We only have amazing things to say about our experience with BPG. I cannot recommend them enough. The food was incredible, the service perfect. The actual venue and location is amazing and requires very little additional florals or decorations. Having a hotel suite across the street was so helpful. Working with Emma and Tom was a dream, we really can't say enough good things about them. They were incredibly responsive, patient and accommodating. Get married here- you will not regret it.

Our wedding was amazing. I fell in love with BPG as soon as I walked in. The venue is so beautiful and it really “wows” people -especially if they are from out of town. The food was incredible, from cocktail hour to our entrees to the dessert buffet, everything was so tasty. Even the food snobs of my family had no complaints (which doesn’t happen often!) The bartenders made our cocktails perfectly, definitely gave a good pour ;). My favorite part of our wedding is the comfort I got from the Events Manager , Emma. She was absolutely amazing, she answered all of my emails right away, even down to the silliest of questions and requests. Emma was so helpful and so delightful to work with. She really helped put my mind at ease throughout this otherwise stressful process! Tom, the event captain the night of our wedding was amazing. I credit our party going smoothly the night of thanks to him, his veteran presence was definitely felt. We’ve gotten nothing but compliments from our guests. We are very happy with the outcome of our wedding!

Bryant Park Grill, Linda and their staff were amazing. Working with them through the pandemic was amazing. In an incredibly stressful time they were always available to speak to us through all the changing rules and guidelines. The food was amazing and were incredibly accommodating to certain dietary needs that we couldn't be more thankful for (Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian). In an incredibly stressful time they were always available to speak to us through all the changing rules and guidelines. The food was amazing and were incredibly accommodating to certain dietary needs that we couldn't be more thankful for (Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian). They were incredibly professional and prepared for any of our questions on requests for our big day. It was amazing working with them every step of the way. Our wedding was perfect and could not recommend Bryant park grill more.

We love Bryant Park Grill! It is such a beautiful venue that has a quintessential NYC feel. You are in the middle of a big city, but overlooking a gorgeous park, which gives it an incredible atmosphere - both romantic and magical. With a second floor terrace, clear top dinner tent and indoor restaurant space, it is the perfect indoor / outdoor option within NYC. We have had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, but the BPG team, especially Dominick has been so wonderful to work with throughout all of the ups and downs this year. We have really appreciated all of his help moving the dates and would highly recommend this venue not only for the location and atmosphere, but the incredible events team who make the entire process enjoyable!

We pushed our wedding back twice due to the pandemic, and Kristi was there with us through each redo of the planning. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Kristi, and with Tom later on. They were patient, flexible, and responsive throughout the entire process. We started working with Kristi from day one; she is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and would respond to all of our emails/questions within hours, if not quicker. She went above and beyond what we thought she would do, and helped us plan out all of the details of how the big day would go. She worked well with all of our outside vendors, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. Tom was our point person/coordinator on the day of the wedding. He did a wonderful job executing all of the small details that we had planned out; without him, I'm really not sure how we would have gotten through the day. The venue speaks for itself with its ideal location and wonderful views of the park and city from the terrace (where we had the ceremony/cocktail hour). Choosing to do our wedding here (the whole package comes with the food, drinks, and dessert) was definitely the best decision we made for our wedding. The space is very flexible, with its rooftop terrace, main indoor area, and outside garden area. Many of our guests and family members reached out to us afterwards to specifically compliment the food (we agreed with them), which is not something that you can say for all wedding food. We are so happy to have chosen BPG for our wedding, and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary!

Dominick did none of this, he said \" we can do anything you want, its your wedding\". From that moment, i knew we were making the right choice. Dominick worked with us throughout the entire process of 2019, and beginning of 2020. When Covid hit, Dominick answered every email, phone call and even suggested for my personality type to postpone to 2021. He works on behalf of his clients, and I have heard horror stories of brides from Covid. The venue worked with us to find a new date, and didn't even blink to charge us more money. They have our best interest at heart, and I cannot wait to get married there in 2021. They really are the best venue in the city, and when you call, ask to work with Dominick.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Bryant Park Grill and the team there. We initially planned our wedding for August 2020 and chose Bryant Park Grill for the location and the overall feel of the venue, quintessential NYC. For our 125-150 guest wedding, the setup was exactly what we wanted: cocktail hour on the rooftop overlooking the park and dinner and dancing in the restaurant. On top of that, from our first meeting with Kristi, we knew we wanted to work with her and were confident she could bring our vision to life! Other pros: 1. the food is incredible 2. the venue is already so beautiful, you don't need to do a lot to the space 3. reasonably priced for NYC.When COVID hit and started disrupting plans, Kristi was super responsive to all of our questions and eventually helped with our decision to postpone our wedding. We were able to move everything seamlessly to our preferred (second) date and didn't get stuck with extra charges or fees for postponing. Kristi made everything so easy in what could have been a very stressful situation. After hearing horror stories of difficult wedding venues, BPG was a dream to work with.We can't wait for our NEW wedding date, and we're so grateful for the team at BPG working with us through all of the uncertainty!

Linda was so fun and easy going from start to finish, she made things easy and uncomplicated, she took time to go over details, add special features and was just a total rockstar in helping plan our day. Then you have Tom. The guy is the King of Events. He is cool, calm, collected and executed the day flawlessly and he does it with a great attitude and the best smile. I owe Linda and Tom so much. Now the venue ... it doesn't get anymore gorgeous from the rooftop to the outdoor garden to the inside. The food is top notch and you won't find any better. I promise. Every single one of our guests have said that our wedding was the best they had ever been to and it's because of Linda, Tom and the entire Bryant Park Grill staff. My husband and I got married at Bryant Park Grill in late January and had the BEST night of our lives at this venue. Here are the highlights:1. We worked with Emma, who was a pleasure to work with from Day 1. She is extremely patient, knowledgeable, flexible, and professional. We asked for many custom arrangements and she said yes to EVERYTHING we asked for! She was very responsive and made the planning process as easy as possible.2. The space itself is stunning. It does not need any flowers, special lighting, or decoration - it is beautiful on its own without any adornment. We loved every nook and cranny of the venue. The tent area (where we had the ceremony and cocktail hour) was gorgeous and gave guests spectacular views of the city, park, and skyline. The restaurant itself is gorgeous - great lighting, elegant, sophisticated, classy, etc. The space has a 'warm' feel to it, and is not sterile like some other wedding venues we visited. The location was super convenient, as well.3. The food was fantastic! Many of our guests said that this was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! Given it's a restaurant by design, and not a traditional wedding venue, the food is head-and-shoulders better than most other venues.4. The pricing was actually reasonable / fair compared to some other places we looked into. These words do not begin to give Bryant Park Grill the credit / accolades it deserves. We had the best night - we loved every aspect of the venue / service / staff - and would not change a thing! THANK YOU Emma, Tom, and Bryant Park staff for making this the best night of our lives.

If you’re thinking of having your wedding at a classic New York venue, run — don’t walk — to Bryant Park Grill! The team at BPG gave us the perfect wedding! The catering sales manager Kristi made the process so easy (call her ASAP; they book up early). She asked us to trust her and her team, and we're so glad we did. The event — from start to finish — was flawless. Our guests have bombarded us with messages about how much fun they had on Saturday, and how impressed they were with our wedding in general. We've gotten the most feedback on the food (\"the best wedding food I've ever had\") and the service (\"top-notch\"). Everyone also loved how classy and elegant the space felt. Too bad we can't get married every year! But we want to come back for our anniversary. Last but certainly not least, the event manager/day-of coordinator Tom is truly a secret (hopefully not so secret) weapon. He was such a help and made sure everything ran so incredibly smoothly on Saturday. He also has such a great energy that makes him someone you certainly want to handle complex, high stress events! We’ll always have a special place in our hearts for Bryant Park Grill!

The catering sales manager Kristi made the process so easy (call her ASAP; they book up early). She asked us to trust her and her team, and we're so glad we did. The event — from start to finish — was flawless. Our guests have bombarded us with messages about how much fun they had on Saturday, and how impressed they were with our wedding in general. We've gotten the most feedback on the food (\"the best wedding food I've ever had\") and the service (\"top-notch\"). Everyone also loved how classy and elegant the space felt. Too bad we can't get married every year! But we want to come back for our anniversary. Last but certainly not least, the event manager/day-of coordinator Tom is truly a secret (hopefully not so secret) weapon. He was such a help and made sure everything ran so incredibly smoothly on Saturday. He also has such a great energy that makes him someone you certainly want to handle complex, high stress events! We’ll always have a special place in our hearts for Bryant Park Grill!

They went above and beyond in every aspect of the wedding-- even in keeping with our original outdoor terrace cocktails despite the small threat of rain. Going into the wedding everyone's best piece of advice was, \"don't sweat the small stuff.\" Well, Bryant Park Grill, Tom and Arthur didn't even give me an ounce of small stuff to sweat (and I'm Type A!)! Leading up to the day I was still skeptical because I didn't know how involved I should be speaking with the venue, I was mostly just dealing with other vendors and probably hassled Arthur about meeting too many times :) but everything flowed perfectly and I didn't even have to think about a thing except enjoying my wedding day. We did not have our ceremony at BPG, we had cocktail hour on the roof, dinner in the tented garden, dancing and dessert inside. It's definitely a unique venue set-up to continue to move spaces and I was nervous about it, especially having the older crowd go from place to place. But I kept thinking I hate when I am interrupted during dinner to dance between appetizers and dinner, and that's why I enjoyed the Parisian set up! I had guests tell me \"This is how you should have a wedding, I'm going to start telling people this is the way to do it.\" The food was constantly flowing at cocktail hour and the service was so good and attentive that my mom's best friend said she thought the waiter was even going to wipe her mouth after each bite! One of our hors d'oeuvres was the petite lobster roll, how good could a catering venue lobster roll be, I thought? Well, that too was delicious, the food was impeccable, even the chicken satay which is always \"eh\" at weddings was juicy and tasty! I asked Arthur to work with me because I wanted to choose burrata as the seated appetizer but I didn't want that to be displayed with the cheese station on the roof to over-cheese our guests, he had no problem removing it and adding something else.Overall, just to have a rooftop element and outdoor garden area in the middle of NYC is a dream. Even if it rains they can accommodate the party in a different space - venues with an ideal plan B for weather were extremely hard to find. Match the unique space with the perfect staff - there's nothing that could possible go wrong with choosing Bryant Park Grill as your wedding venue.

Both offered their professional expertise and guidance when decisions were difficult to make and really helped make the entire process super fun and easy! It speaks volumes to the amount of times brides/grooms have reviewed BPG and specifically named Kristi and Tom! They are both amazing at what they do. I wouldn't have got through the planning process without them.Bryant Park lets you work with your own vendors which really helps you customize your day. It was also a stress free experience when we were dealing with the contract. Everything in the contract is up front and clear. Plus they're a restaurant so the food is exquisite. We chose to do our ceremony inside, cocktail hour on the roof (every single person we know took photos during this part of the evening and changed their profile pictures! Awesome photo opps with the Park in the background), dinner outside under the stars, and the reception back inside. Our guests stated it was THE BEST wedding they've ever been to from the food, to the flow of the night from one area to the next, to the atmosphere and staff. I met my husband in New York and we wanted a NYC wedding. We had been to the Bryant Park Grill for a friend's wedding and it was one of the BEST weddings we'd been to. It was a dream of ours to get married there and after discussing our budget and guest list, we went for it! The Bryant Park Grill was truly INCREDIBLE and breathtaking! My husband and I got married at a church but we had our cocktail hour on the roof that overlooks Bryant Park and we had dinner and dancing inside of the restaurant. We had 140 guests and we fit comfortably in the restaurant area and the rooftop. Everyone wanted to dance so the dance floor was packed the entire night but it made the evening so fun to be surrounded by family and friends in an intimate setting! The pictures we took both inside and around the venue were breathtaking (Dreamlife Photography / Angelo - main photographer) and if I had the chance to do this all over again, I would choose the Bryant Park Grill over and over again! My husband and I worked with Arthur who walked us through all of the logistics, menus, tastings, etc. Arthur was our go-to person and he was extremely helpful and informative throughout the process. For the day-of, we had an amazing coordinator, Tom, who was calm, kind, and extremely professional. Tom made me feel at east throughout the entire night and I felt so comfortable letting him take control over the wedding we had planned for so long! The only wish I had was that I had met Tom earlier so I could have planned more with him prior to the day-of. However, everything went WONDERFULLY! All staff members were extremely professional and have been working there for such a long time. It was so much fun getting to visit and dine at the restaurant leading up to the big day. That's one of the benefits of getting married at a restaurant - you can go back and try to relive the magic! My husband and I had the wedding of our DREAMS at the Bryant Park Grill!! I hope you can have the same beautiful experience!

We booked the Bryant Park Grill a year in advance. From the moment we booked Kristi was there for every need, concern, and question. I am a very type A person, especially when it comes to any type of event; let alone my wedding. I have been planning my wedding since I was little girl and I had a lot of questions but Kristi made those all disappear, and kept me calm during the process. As we got closer to the wedding I started to get more anxious and nervous and wanted everything to be as close to perfection as it could be. Reminding myself no matter what I’m sure something will go wrong. Well was I wrong, In came Tom and Kristi who are simply an amazing Team and in our final meeting the week of the wedding I went in feeling nervous and thinking how is everything going to flow!? The layout of our wedding was cocktail hour on the roof, dinner in the tented garden, and dancing and dessert in the main dining room. After that final meeting, I felt relaxed and calm as Kristi and Tom walked my parents and I through every detail. The day of the wedding I was hoping for things to be almost perfect when in fact the wedding was more than PERFECT. Tom and Kristi made every single request happen, and they did it flawlessly. It was simply magical and we owe it all to them and our wedding coordinator Allison. We did not have to worry about a single thing during the wedding. The food during cocktail hour, dinner and dessert was incredible. The staff was attentive and seriously five stars. The flow was timed perfectly. Every single detail was accomplished. In my opinion if you are looking to get married in New York City and want to actually feel like you are in New York City then this is the wedding venue for you. Besides Tom and Kristi being perfect, the city is your backdrop in every single part of Bryant Park Grill. Every other venue we looked at in the city was beautiful outside but inside just looked like every other ballroom or hall. We love Bryant Park Grill and we absolutely LOVE Kristi & Tom. They do not disappoint. They truly turned our dream into a reality.

I have been planning my wedding since I was little girl and I had a lot of questions but Kristi made those all disappear, and kept me calm during the process. As we got closer to the wedding I started to get more anxious and nervous and wanted everything to be as close to perfection as it could be. Reminding myself no matter what I’m sure something will go wrong. Well was I wrong, In came Tom and Kristi who are simply an amazing Team and in our final meeting the week of the wedding I went in feeling nervous and thinking how is everything going to flow!? The layout of our wedding was cocktail hour on the roof, dinner in the tented garden, and dancing and dessert in the main dining room. After that final meeting, I felt relaxed and calm as Kristi and Tom walked my parents and I through every detail. The day of the wedding I was hoping for things to be almost perfect when in fact the wedding was more than PERFECT. Tom and Kristi made every single request happen, and they did it flawlessly. It was simply magical and we owe it all to them and our wedding coordinator Allison. We did not have to worry about a single thing during the wedding. The food during cocktail hour, dinner and dessert was incredible. The staff was attentive and seriously five stars. The flow was timed perfectly. Every single detail was accomplished. In my opinion if you are looking to get married in New York City and want to actually feel like you are in New York City then this is the wedding venue for you. Besides Tom and Kristi being perfect, the city is your backdrop in every single part of Bryant Park Grill. Every other venue we looked at in the city was beautiful outside but inside just looked like every other ballroom or hall. We love Bryant Park Grill and we absolutely LOVE Kristi & Tom. They do not disappoint. They truly turned our dream into a reality.

Not only did they provide exceptional service, but the food was so scrumptious that our guests were raving about it weeks after the wedding. These would not be possible without the help of Kristi, our Catering Sales Manager. From the beginning, she exemplified her professionalism and expertise which made the whole planning process seamless. She was very responsive to all my questions (so many of them) and respond to them very timely (even at 2 in the morning!) which is something that is really hard to find these days even from your own wedding vendors. She also gives you her own expert opinion and had given me so many suggestions that I could not even have thought of which made our wedding even so much better. She was there to guide us all throughout the planning process, and her flexibility with our requests made the whole experience enjoyable. A week prior to our event, we also met with Tom who is the Director of Special Events at BPG. Tom is a very charming guy and was so accommodating to our requests. His execution of all-the-months-of-planning that day was phenomenal and very flawless that there was no major glitch in our event. He made us feel at ease and we felt that we could really rely on him and he was successfully able to do so. Lastly, the excellent service of the staff that night at BPG was exceptional and we are really very happy about that. If you have the chance to celebrate your wedding at Bryant Park Grill, they will definitely make your dreams a reality, and will make it even better than you’ve even dreamed of.

We recently hosted a wedding for our daughter and son-in-law at the Bryant Park Grill. They went to see the venue and meet with Kristi and were extremely impressed with all. We followed up with a meeting of our own and were equally enamored. The entire process was seamless. There was never a question that was not responded to within the day by Kristi. She provided guidance and support, while always being extremely approachable and kind. We all attended the tasting and that was the icing on the cake; knowing that the food and the service were both impeccable. The wedding was absolutely flawless. From the ceremony to the cocktail party, the dinner and dancing, Tom insured that every detail was attended to. We did not have to think about one aspect. He was a true professional and perfectionist on our behalf. The fact that the four of us were so pleased with the event would have been more than enough for us, but the compliments and feedback we received from so many of our guests was just wonderful. From raving over the food to loving dining and dancing under the stars, our guests had nothing but lovely and sincere comments to share. My Husband, Aaron and I got engaged on a park bench directly outside of the Bryant Park Grill, a place we found special long before our engagement; so it felt only natural to get married there. We’re both born and raised in Boston, and have demanding jobs and lifestyles, so the thought of an out of state wedding seemed a bit ambitious. Within the days following our engagement, I connected with Linda whose energy, excitement and enthusiasm instantly made me feel not only excited but comforted. Over the course of the next 8 months she provided me with support and resources when needed, when it came to hiring vendors and knowing what things to be mindful of; was accommodating and flexible when it came to booking our tasting so that my parents and would be able to attend with us; and was genuinely a delight to work with.In the weeks leading up to my wedding, Linda had assured me that I didn’t need a day of planner; but out of fear I hired one (more so to have a point person for everything leading up to the ceremony/reception). While the planner was lovely and an asset for the pre-wedding festivities (makeup, hair, and photos), the minute we were on site it became instantly clear that Tom had everything under control- to a level my family and I couldn’t have even expected. From the staff, to the vendors, to the movement of the ceremony into the reception, he did it all- and with ease. The day of our wedding was without a doubt, the happiest day of each of our lives. I think back on the day, and I get overwhelmed with joy and excitement thinking about how simply perfect it was, for not only us but our guests. The staff at the Bryant Park Grill provided us with everything and more- from the food, to the drinks, to the service; I can confidently say if given the chance to do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing, and would recommend the BPG to any Bride!(Married, August 2017)

Our daughter's wedding this past weekend at Bryant Park Grill exceeded all expectations. Arthur Tarzy and Tom Ferretti were amazing to work with! They made the planning process fun and stress free, and everything went seamlessly the day of the wedding. They are true professionals who strove to make our event everything we could have hoped for. Other venues may have great food or great service or a great location, but Bryant Park Grill has it all. Our 175 guests raved about the exceptional food and thought the venue itself was beyond compare. Our ceremony was on the rooftop terrace, the cocktail hour, dancing and dessert were in the dining room, and the seated dinner was in the tented garden terrace. Having all three areas meant that nothing needed to be torn down and then reconfigured, which made transitioning from one part of the evening to the other seamless. We highly recommend Bryant Park Grill for anyone's special event. It is a truly beautiful, amazing venue and the food, from appetizer through dessert, was outstanding. Everyone was an absolute joy to work with and always responsive to any questions we had during the planning process.

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Bryant Park Grill April of 2017. This venue was at the top of my list and one of the first ones we saw, after seeing probably 15 others in the city, we decided on this one. We had our ceremony on the beautiful rooftop, overlooking the park and right next to the public library, then had our cocktail hour in the patio adjacent to the restaurant, followed by our reception inside the restaurant itself. It's an absolutely beautiful space and I loved that there we three distinct spaces for each part of the wedding. It also feels like you are in the heart of the city, but also surrounded by greenery, which is hard to come by. Alex and Tom were very helpful throughout the planning process and were able to answer any questions or concerns I had. The food was fantastic, many guests told me that the steak was the best steak they've ever had at a wedding. The service was very good too and of course the space absolutely lovely. If you are looking for a NYC wedding that is elegant, romantic, and timeless, without totally breaking the bank, this is absolutely the best venue.

We had our wedding on September 18th, 2016- a Sunday afternoon. It was truly a magical day at Bryant Park Grill- the setting in the heart of NYC on the roof top as well as the grill/bar downstairs. The exceptional staff on both the day of our wedding as well as leading up to it made it a stress-free, fun, tasty day not only for us, but for all of our guests(135 total). Months later people are still telling us what a great time they had at the wedding and how wonderful everything was including the setting and food/drink.Kristi Ohlin was our point of contact from day one until we were married and the event over. Kristi was extremely responsive, patient when necessary, and gave us a push at times when decisions needed to be made. We were on a tight timeline having gotten engaged 5 months earlier, we picked BPG with just under 4 months to the wedding day. Even with the tight timeline, we were able to have a terrific wedding. The cliche holds true that planning a wedding is stressful, but Kristi made it less stressful, by always being so quick to respond and nonjudgemental. When we wanted to switch out one bread for another, she made it happen. When we wanted fingerlings instead of mashed potatoes on the menu she made it happen, and the list goes on....When we wanted to try alternative layouts for both the ceremony and reception, she produced layouts and then shared her thoughts- both pros and cons. Typically BPG puts the dance floor on the north. We wanted it in the center and it worked out great. We took her advice though not to alter the ceremony layout. We came to appreciate and value her candor and recommendations. Kristi told me that we would not have to worry about a thing once we stepped in the door of Bryant Park Grill on our wedding day. Somehow I didn't believe it because prior there were so many details my fiance and I were following up on as there is with any wedding. It was hard to imagine we wouldn't have to deal with anything that day, but Kristi was absolutely right- Kristi, Tom and the staff were on top of every detail. Kristi said by the day of the wedding her work is complete and its really up to Tom and the staff to carry out all the planning. Even so, by then she knew me and my family, so she was helpful to us on this day- making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and when.Tom and his assistant enabled the whole event to happen without one glitch. Two things stand out: First, little did I know how much it would mean to me that Kristi put my veil on (my mom had already gone to line up). Second, Tom stood with me as I was waiting right before I walked down the aisle (as I was walking alone since my dad passed)- meaning I was not standing awkwardly/sad alone since my dad was not there. Tom gave me a sweet nod, Kristi a hug and off I went. In short, it is the personal service that really stands out. And yes, the food was fantastic, our DJ rocked, and as Kristi said: your guests will never be standing without a drink in their hand. They made it all happen, including recommending and receiving vendors(flowers/dj/cake etc...) but above and beyond it all, it was the lovely setting and the lovely people that made it a great experience and a day many will remember for a long time. We had our wedding on September 18th, 2016- a Sunday afternoon. It was truly a magical day at Bryant Park Grill- the setting in the heart of NYC on the roof top as well as the grill/bar downstairs. The exceptional staff on both the day of our wedding as well as leading up to it made it a stress-free, fun, tasty day not only for us, but for all of our guests(135 total). Months later people are still telling us what a great time they had at the wedding and how wonderful everything was including the setting and food/drink.Kristi Ohlin was our point of contact from day one until we were married and the event over. Kristi was extremely responsive, patient when necessary, and gave us a push at times when decisions needed to be made. We were on a tight timeline having gotten engaged 5 months earlier, we picked BPG with just under 4 months to the wedding day. Even with the tight timeline, we were able to have a terrific wedding. The cliche holds true that planning a wedding is stressful, but Kristi made it less stressful, by always being so quick to respond and nonjudgemental. When we wanted to switch out one bread for another, she made it happen. When we wanted fingerlings instead of mashed potatoes on the menu she made it happen, and the list goes on....When we wanted to try alternative layouts for both the ceremony and reception, she produced layouts and then shared her thoughts- both pros and cons. Typically BPG puts the dance floor on the north. We wanted it in the center and it worked out great. We took her advice though not to alter the ceremony layout. We came to appreciate and value her candor and recommendations. Kristi told me that we would not have to worry about a thing once we stepped in the door of Bryant Park Grill on our wedding day. Somehow I didn't believe it because prior there were so many details my fiance and I were following up on as there is with any wedding. It was hard to imagine we wouldn't have to deal with anything that day, but Kristi was absolutely right- Kristi, Tom and the staff were on top of every detail. Kristi said by the day of the wedding her work is complete and its really up to Tom and the staff to carry out all the planning. Even so, by then she knew me and my family, so she was helpful to us on this day- making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and when.Tom and his assistant enabled the whole event to happen without one glitch. Two things stand out: First, little did I know how much it would mean to me that Kristi put my veil on (my mom had already gone to line up). Second, Tom stood with me as I was waiting right before I walked down the aisle (as I was walking alone since my dad passed)- meaning I was not standing awkwardly/sad alone since my dad was not there. Tom gave me a sweet nod, Kristi a hug and off I went. In short, it is the personal service that really stands out. And yes, the food was fantastic, our DJ rocked, and as Kristi said: your guests will never be standing without a drink in their hand. They made it all happen, including recommending and receiving vendors(flowers/dj/cake etc...) but above and beyond it all, it was the lovely setting and the lovely people that made it a great experience and a day many will remember for a long time. I highly recommend Bryant Park Grill!

We looked at a number of venues to have our wedding in New York City, but it was Kristi Ohlin and her team that made us feel like we would be taken care of. No one gave us the feeling that they truly cared like Kristi did. She and Tom more than exceeded our expectations for our wedding in August 2016, We booked the entire venue for our wedding of 100 people. We had the cocktail hour on the roof, dinner and the dessert buffet in the grill and cigars and a photo booth in the garden. Our guests cannot stop talking about how great our wedding was at the Bryant Park Grill. Kristi was great in working with us and all of our vendors. She was always professional and extremely detailed and organized. She and Tom took care of every single detail including the bride and groom cocktails, the menu, happy birthday for my nephew and the groom’s son, sparkling cider for my nephews and step son. The service was wonderful the night of the event. The event flowed perfectly from the cocktail hour to dinner and dancing to the cake. For the cocktail hour, the hor d’oeurves kept coming out and our guests never had an empty glass. The food was a delicious. We had additional desserts brought in and Tom had them set up in a beautiful display. The Bryant Park Grill has very colorful chairs and we decided to go with lots of color for our flowers to play off the chairs. Also, we had votive and hurricane candles placed all along the windows for a very romantic feeling.

We had our wedding reception for 150 people at Bryant Park Grill and it was the best night of our lives - we could not have had a more perfect venue or enjoyable planning experience than we had with BPG. Like every bride who has worked with Kristi and Tom, we were blown away by the level of customer service. I live in Washington, DC, so most of my planning was done via email and phone with Kristi, who seemed to respond to all of my emails within minutes - even when she was on vacation! I am a very Type A bride, and Kristi was patient, kind, and calming, never showing annoyance with my hundreds (literally) of questions. Kristi provided guidance and input on everything from vendor options (especially helpful since I was not in NYC) to food to event flow. Our menu tasting was a wonderful event on its own, and BPG was also very accommodating of vendor walk throughs (and walkthroughs when I was visiting and just wanted to see the gorgeous venue one more time).We bought out the entire venue, and had cocktail hour on the roof, dinner in the tented garden, and dancing and dessert buffet inside the grill. It was perfection in every way. Tom, the event coordinator, was spectacular. He and Kristi are a seamless team, and went above and beyond to ensure that every special request and small detail we had was executed flawlessly - from flip flops for the dance floor to moving flower centerpieces from the garden to the grill after dinner, to the sparkler send off. We also tip our hats to the chef and staff, who created an incredible meal, great drinks (including a watermelon margarita slushy specialty cocktail), and superb customer service experience.There is literally not a single thing I would have changed about the event space, service, or planning experience. Bryant Park Grill was a dream location with a dream team. Thank you Kristi, Tom, and colleagues!

When we first made the decision to get married in New York City, we cast a wide net to find the ideal location for our ceremony and reception. Near the top of our wish list was the Bryant Park Grill but like several of our other “dream” locations, I didn’t have high expectations we could make the math work. However, after first contacting and then meeting with the catering manager, Kristi Ohlin, we realized that not only could we make it work, but that we had found someone who was ready, willing and able to help us put together what I can only describe as an enchanting and magical evening with our friends and loved ones. We held our ceremony upstairs on the second floor roof garden and the reception downstairs in the main dining room. The beauty of the gardens, the flowers and great lawn of Bryant Park were an extension of the event spaces making both feel larger and grander than they would have in any other location. The food was amazing. Kristi invited us to a special menu tasting where we were able to sample several different salads, appetizers, entrees and of course, desserts, along with a variety of house wines to help us come up with the perfect combination for the evening. As our event date approached, Kristi was helpful in keeping us on track with a gentle nudge here and there when needed. She was always quick to answer any questions or concerns we had and let us plan a wedding with enough structure to keep the evening moving but without feeling like we were forced to follow a rigid or more traditional path. On the night of our wedding, Kristi, her colleague Tom Ferretti (our special on-site coordinator) and the entire Bryant Park Grill staff executed flawlessly. It’s not an exaggeration to say that watching Tom work was a bit like watching a conductor and his orchestra. Orders were taken quickly and discreetly. The food was plated and presented beautifully. Drink glasses were never empty for long. In short, we were well taken care of and all of our guests had a wonderful time. It went so well and all fell into place so seamlessly that in some ways it felt like something we had been rehearsing all our lives for, when in fact, we had no such practice or experience. Thank you Kristi, Tom, and everyone at BPG for, truly, a night to remember.

We held our wedding at Bryant Park Grill in March 2016, and it was a wonderful experience! The restaurant is inviting, elegant, and fun, and we are so happy that we chose it as our venue. BPG is beautiful, with three spaces (dining room, patio, and rooftop) and various options for organizing your event depending on the season. We held our ceremony and cocktail hour in their clear-tented patio, looking out into Bryant Park (so lovely as the sun was setting), and our reception/party in the main dining room. The planning process was incredibly smooth thanks to their wonderful staff. Kristi Ohlin coordinated our event and she was amazing to work with - professional, quick to respond to questions, and so helpful with her advice. She truly cared about making our event successful and personal. Our day-of coordinator Tom was a great presence on the day of the wedding and his entire staff was excellent. Kristi and Tom coordinated with all of our vendors as well, and they made it possible for us to feel so comfortable and confident that they would take care of every detail! They were a pleasure to work with.The food was delicious and the chef was accommodating of our all of our requests, including modifying the menu to be kosher style. We loved hosting our wedding in a restaurant setting and our guests raved about the food and the fun mini dessert bar.We can't recommend Bryant Park Grill more highly for a wedding or any event. And since I am all about feelings, I knew the moment I met them both we were in excellent hands. They both went above and beyond to provide my husband and I along with our family and friends the most special night. After shopping around NYC and Westchester for wedding venues, we fell in love with Bryant Park Grill. We were looking for something a little different compared to a big banquet hall or event space. Our ceremony was on the tented rooftop, reception in the terrace and dancing/dessert in the restaurant space. The order of the evening and unique qualities of each room really added to the all-encompassing celebration throughout the night. We're still getting compliments at how delicious the food was. Our main courses were the filet mignon and sea bass - Everyone loved the food - kudos to BPG!\r\rArthur Tarzy was an absolute dream come true to work with. His professionalism, sensitivity and heartfelt advice leading up to the wedding day (and on the wedding day) were incredible. While you're thinking of the perfect venue to tie the knot in, also seek out the quality of the event team you'll be working with. The entire Bryant Park Grill team did a magnificent job making our wedding day memorable, seamless and the night of our lives! \r\rWe love visiting BPG and referring the venue to our friends. We loved every minute of our wedding at The Bryant Park Grill on 10/19/14. This was the first venue we saw when we started our search and it was love at first site. I cannot say enough about the staff, particularly Kristi and Tom who were so accommodating and helpful to our every want and need and kept us calm throughout the whole planning process and even when an unexpected turn of events occurred on our wedding day with a last minute officiant switch - our actual officiant went into labor on our wedding day! - they were so helpful. To this day so many of my friends and family say that our wedding was the best one they ever attended and I believe them! The food was fantastic, drinks flowing profusely, and the actual venue with our flowers and color choices just came to life for an early fall night. It was a bit chilly but we do not regret the choice to hold the reception on the rooftop, it was beautiful. A lot of our friends and family had never experienced a real New York City wedding and we feel that we truly delivered on holding a contemporary and warm wedding in the heart of the city that no one will forget - we certainly won't!

We loved every minute of our wedding at The Bryant Park Grill on 10/19/14. This was the first venue we saw when we started our search and it was love at first site. I cannot say enough about the staff, particularly Kristi and Tom who were so accommodating and helpful to our every want and need and kept us calm throughout the whole planning process and even when an unexpected turn of events occurred on our wedding day with a last minute officiant switch - our actual officiant went into labor on our wedding day! - they were so helpful. To this day so many of my friends and family say that our wedding was the best one they ever attended and I believe them! The food was fantastic, drinks flowing profusely, and the actual venue with our flowers and color choices just came to life for an early fall night. We had the most beautiful, elegant, and unforgettable wedding reception at Bryant Park Grill on 10/12/14. Our guests and family cannot stop talking about all the delicious food, the amazing dessert platters and all the entertainment we had planned for that night. Our cocktail hour was held in the tented garden area, which had breathtaking views of the park and city. It just felt so romantic and magical to be in the middle of Bryant Park enjoying the time with our family and friends. The whole experience was a dream come true! Everything was top class from the food to the service. BPG's chef even helped us accommodate our guests with food allergies/ sensitivities. The entire staff at BPG were absolutely wonderful, professional and the nicest people! We will be forever grateful to Tom and Linda for organizing and expertly managing every single detail that made our wedding run smoothly and a success.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Bryant Park Grill. For our August wedding the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our day went off flawlessly. When my DIY table numbers fell though slightly, the team actually finished them with in-house table numbers better than I could have imagined. Tom and Linda are an incredible team and were true wedding pros from coordinating the ceremony, guests arrivals, and even giving this hungry bride appetizers as we finished signing the marriage license. Our guests can't stop raving about the incredible food, venue, and service that truly made our wedding a day we will never forget.

We could not have been happier with the Bryant Park Grill! \r\rKristi Ohlin was an absolute pleasure to work with. Easy to talk to and helpful beyond measure.\r\rThe restaurant itself is magnificent. The location can't be beaten. The food was TO DIE FOR. And for a few of my guests, it was their first time in NYC and Bryant Park Grill gave them an amazing first impression. People are still talking about it four months after. \r\rOur day of man/Banquet Director, Tom Ferretti, helped us the entire night with kindness and ease. Him and his staff were never intrusive and always kind. I wish I got them name of the server who was basically assigned to serve me and my husband. He came from nowhere with a smile and kept our little champagne flukes full of Coke-a-Cola all night. :D\r\rAnd get the dessert buffet, no one will regret it.\r\rAn amazing venue. Kind service. Excellent food. Unforgettable.

Planning our Labor Day weekend wedding I never imagined that I would later describe our reception as \"perfect.\" Realistically I knew that ultimately something unexpected would occur and we would have to do our best to \"deal\" with it. However, we think and have been told that our reception was perfection -- my husband's mother describes the night as \"magical\" -- and the thanks go to the fantastic Bryant Park Grill. \rWe worked with Linda, who was always in touch and very accommodating, and Tom, who was professional and always seemed to be steps ahead of everyone's possible needs. ALL of our guests enjoyed their meals. And we can not say enough great things about Anne-Marie Noonan, BPG's brilliant pastry chef, who made our amazing wedding cake (delicious and beautiful -- everyone is still raving about it). \rWe truly couldn't be happier and will always be appreciative to everyone at BPG for making our day so incredible.

I can't say enough great things about the Bryant Park Grill. The staff made our wedding absolutely perfect. There truly is not one thing I can criticize. It was incredibly hot for our wedding in July - 100+ degrees - and the BPG found ways to ensure our guests were cool and comfortable. Even though we had our ceremony on the rooftop, the cocktail hour flowed from the roof to inside (not the original plan) given the heat. The BPG had extra fans on hand, as well. The service was impeccable, food was better than expected and everything flowed beautifully. It was class all the way. And given the perfect backdrop of the city and Bryant Park, it truly was the perfect New York City wedding.

I never would have dreamed that my wedding would be in the heart of NYC. We were able to pull it off and it was the best wedding ever(and I am not just saying that because it was mine :)!!!. The staff was great and treated us very very well. Tom manages the dining room and he was the BEST! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!
