Buckland is a large wedding barn venue located in Delta, OH. Purpose-built with weddings in mind, this charming and versatile space is ideal for large family celebrations. Family-owned and surrounded by scenic countryside, it offers a serene, secluded location for a romantic occasion. Buckland was built when the owners began searching for a wedding venue for their daughter. Struggling to find a location that could accommodate the large families on both sides, they decided to take matters into their own hands and build this stunning barn venue. Holding up to 350 guests, it is an expansive location ideal for big blowout events with all your loved ones. High ceilings and crisp white walls offer couples an open opportunity to decorate this space with their own decor and flair. With pristine farmland surrounding this venue, there is plenty of possibility for scenic photos among the ancient trees and fallow fields. Ceremonies and receptions are welcomed at Buckland, with modern amenities available to add a touch of comfort to your wedding day. Along with the large, high-ceilinged barn, a smaller, more rustic event space is also open to more intimate events. For those craving an outdoor experience, a beautiful outdoor ceremony space is available for use. Outside vendors are welcomed, with these owners encouraging couples to celebrate their individuality on their special day. Private get-ready rooms are present on-site, allowing you and your partner to prepare for your big moment in peace. Lighting and sound equipment are available to every couple, adding another layer of convenience to this wedding venue. A number of tables and chairs are provided. Outside vendors are welcomed, including catering staff, letting you serve up delicious dishes of your choice to your guests for your celebration. We had only just visited the Buckland Venue for a tour as we decide on a wedding venue but I had to share our experience. The venue is ran by Kirk and his family who were very polite and easy going. His daughter, Michaela, is quick with answering any of my questions and providing details via text and email. Kirk and one of his sons greeted us and took us around the venue, providing us with details of each space and various ways the space could be set up. The venue was beautiful and well kept. Their freshly made bar is gorgeous and the bridal suite is so perfect. I applaud Michaela for her interior design and decorating skills. The whole space is gorgeous. A nice touch was the outdoor spaces that provide corn hole and firepits. They are also in the process of building cabins on site for bridal party and guests to stay in. That would be a total plus! This was our first tour but what I REALLY appreciated was the clean, detailed folder they provided me with all the packaged prices, floor plans for seating arrangements and a list of decorations with pricing that could be provided. That helps me stay organized and I could really use that in this long process. Good work, Kirk and fam! Beautiful venue. Top of my list right now. ** Photos are taken during my tour

This venue is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I got married there October 7, 2023 in the vintage barn and stayed the night in the suite above the reception hall the night of our wedding. Kirk and his family are amazing to work with. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I felt like our day was perfect! Buckland is such a simple yet beautiful venue with a lot of character! We got married in the 1855 Barn and left if just how it was with minimal floral/decor because it was just perfect the way it was. Our reception was great! The bar is beautiful and the back patio is great for those guests who don’t like to dance. It was plenty of space for us and the new bridal suite addition made the day very relaxing.

I would choose Buckland time and time again for my wedding. A great space for 300+ people and they know what they're doing when it comes to getting the space ready. Kirk and Christian helped with set up and acted as our wedding coordinator at times when we needed it. Michaela was great with communication. The reception hall is gorgeous and a perfect blank canvas. The new bridal suite upstairs is perfect. Many places to take photos.

I would choose Buckland time and time again for my wedding. A great space for 300+ people and they know what they're doing when it comes to getting the space ready. Kirk and Christian helped with set up and acted as our wedding coordinator at times when we needed it. Michaela was great with communication. The reception hall is gorgeous and a perfect blank canvas. The new bridal suite upstairs is perfect. Many places to take photos.

We loved the venue and the team at Buckland! It was absolutely beautiful, especially in the Fall and even before the decor we bought both the old rustic barn and the reception hall are so beautifully designed and decorated it feels like a fairytale! The team at Buckland goes above and beyond to make your day so special and they are so kind— relaxing our nerves before the big day. We got married in October 2022 and lived about an hour away but it was so worth the drive! Thank you all so much!

We loved the venue and the team at Buckland! It was absolutely beautiful, especially in the Fall and even before the decor we bought both the old rustic barn and the reception hall are so beautifully designed and decorated it feels like a fairytale! The team at Buckland goes above and beyond to make your day so special and they are so kind— relaxing our nerves before the big day. We got married in October 2022 and lived about an hour away but it was so worth the drive! Thank you all so much!

My husband and I got married on September 30th, 2022 and had our reception at Buckland. We would not recommend this venue to anyone. While this venue is beautiful, that is about the only positive thing about it. The owners sold us on being a family business that would not try to nickel and dime us. As we planned our special day, that was not the case at all. There were many empty promises made and multiple accounts of unprofessionalism and lack of communication. Empty promises included telling us at the initial meeting all extra items at the venue would be included, they would have multiple people helping at the reception, they could cut the cake if needed, and many other things. The owners also assured us that there would be yard games for guests, a fire pit going, the junk behind the barn would be removed, and the venue would have new lighting and other new decor. None of this was provided on our wedding day. I inquired about a section of the insurance that was to be purchased on May 20th, 2022 and had to follow up weekly until June 23, 2022 until they answered my question. The owners had no knowledge of what was to be filled out on the insurance but assured us it was very simple. They even told us it would only cost around 125$ but it was 235$ once we filled it all out. The reception chairs were filthy the day we checked out the venue which was 2 days before our rehearsal. Kirk assured us they would have all the chairs wiped off and put at the tables when we came to decorate. When we arrived to decorate, no table clothes were on and the chairs were still filthy and stacked up. Kirk proceeded to tell my husband we don’t unstack chairs, that is your guy's job. Kirk was briefly on site while we decorated, otherwise no one was there for us to ask questions or get things changed. Kirk also told my mom that he would be parking cars during our reception. There was only one person working from the venue the entire night inside the venue and no one to be found parking cars. We were very disappointed with how the owners of the venue sold us on providing exceptional service and this was far from what we experienced. The night before our wedding, I requested to have them cut our cake which we were assured would be okay if we needed it. Kirk emailed me the morning of the wedding letting me know that they don’t provide that service. We even had trouble with them involving our security deposit after the wedding. They did not return the whole thing and Kirk told us he wasn’t sure how many extra table clothes we used so he just made the check out for what he thought was the right thing. While this venue is beautiful, we are not quite sure what the large sum of money we paid even did for us aside from providing a building and 1 worker. If you chose to go with this venue, our best advice would be to get every single aspect of your day in writing from the start and have an event coordinator on the day off to make sure everything goes smoothly as the owners do not go the extra mile for their couples and may not on site for questions or problems.

We are so thankful to have found Buckland for our wedding. From start to finish, the Chambers family was a joy to work with. They make you feel at home every time you're on the property and they allowed us to visit several times beforehand to plan out the big day. They worked hard to ensure the day panned out exactly as we wanted it to. They smoothly made arrangements when rain came through and they actively helped out during the reception. The farm is beautiful and there's nothing else like it in NW Ohio. The barn across the street created beautiful pictures as well. Our guests loved the bar set up and the outdoor areas! Our wedding was in August, so the AC was crucial and it was the perfect temp inside. Plenty of parking. Absolutely no complaints. The owners and staff were so nice and great! It is beautiful and very secluded! just about everyone was very easy to work with and had great communication with us. Everything was smooth sailing except with the Bar Manager Sara.. She was very difficult to get ahold of and get information from. I had to ask multiple times for a quote and when I did get it, it was just a price, no itemized summary. I had to hound her inorder to get that. Aside from that everyone else had great communication with us and were all very nice and wanted our day to go as perfect as they could make it! Highly recommend this venue, but know the frustration about getting the bar pricing ahead of time!

Michaela was always super quick to respond to my millions of questions, and they were so helpful in the planning process to make sure everything would be set up perfectly for the day. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and we loved having access to the old barn as well. The new bar looked great and everyone loved the drinks! Choosing Buckland was a great decision!!

Trust me when I say this... DO IT. BOOK THEM. When my husband and I chose Buckland, we knew it was going to be a beautiful venue. But, let me tell you how absolutely BLOWN AWAY we were then our day finally came. Their pictures from previous events did not do them justice, at all. Don’t get me wrong, their previous pictures are beautiful, but wait until you see your event in there. When I stepped into the barn and saw my dream come together better than I ever could have imagined, I sighed a breath of relief that we chose Buckland. The owners are an absolute delight and are so patient, pleasant, responsive, and attentive. Their daughter, who I did most of my communication with, is so personable and never failed to respond to every message and kindly answered even my most ridiculous questions, regardless of what time of night it was. Even through a pandemic, they made our dreams a reality. You won’t be disappointed! Our day was a fairytale! BOOK THEM.

Buckland is the perfect venue! Due to COVID-19, my fiancé and I had to switch venues at the last minute and Buckland popped up on our search. We couldn’t be more thankful to have stumbled upon this beautiful venue! We were able to have both our ceremony and reception at Buckland! It was perfect. From day one they were all so great to work with. Michaela is very quick to respond to any and all questions that came up and was always willing to reassure any worries I had. She rocks! Kirk and Carol were also fantastic to work with! I loved that they were readily available to help with anything and answer any questions we had. They all contributed to helping our day be perfect and run smoothly. Not only are they all great to work with, but Buckland is absolutely gorgeous! The inside is set up nicely with separate bride and groom rooms to get ready in right on site. There’s also a kitchen and bathrooms. Not to mention a huge cooler to store all the drinks we had! Also, they have so many great places to take pictures on the property! Buckland is definitely the perfect wedding venue and I am so thankful we were able to celebrate our day there!

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Buckland!! The owners were very accommodating and helped us bring our unique vision to life for our dream day! The venue was perfect! We were the first couple to get married in their historic barn - ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! We received so many compliments on how beautiful and unique the venue was; our guests still talk about it months later! If you're looking for the perfect wedding ceremony and reception location look no further!!
