I can’t say enough good things about Bunker Hills Event Center. We had our wedding there on 9/30/23 and everything was absolutely perfect.We worked with Cambrie and she was amazing! She was so willing to work with me and answer any of my questions literally at any time of the day. When I emailed her, she would email me back within 10 minutes. She made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and she was so well organized.The food was incredible - try the beef short ribs, all of our guests were raving about it after. The homemade apple crisp was to die for. And I highly recommend doing the late night pizza! Guests loved it.We got ready at the venue, and it was perfect. When we arrived at 9 AM, Cambrie had our mimosas already in the room chilled and ready for us to drink! We were able to order breakfast or anything else from the Kendall’s menu which was really nice. This was a really great wedding venue and I highly recommend! I felt so confident that everything was going to go well with the amount of hands on deck. I am so grateful for all of the staff - servers and bartenders who served us all night - and even helped me with cleanup at the end of the night when everyone else bailed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Many aspects of the planning process with them made us mad. Everything did turn out beautiful and that raised my review up a little. To start, the tour was great and we fell in love. The coordinator sold us. Little did I know they offer two different packages that she didn’t explain, but was giving us offers from the more expensive package with prices from the cheaper one. A few of the extras included 4 free rounds of golf (turns out they don’t do this but did offer us 2 rounds half off. We didn’t us this), golf carts to use for pics and to take guests to and from their cars (we had to fight to get them and they took them away after pics), rehearsal dinner and it would go towards minimums (this was inaccurate, but they made the exception, but limited to only 10 guests), etc. She also mentioned ordering cake through them through grandma's bakery to go towards minimums. I asked her if we could get a tiered cake, she said yes it was a full bakery. Turns out through them you could only get sheet cakes. Also, she told us not to worry about the service charge as it would only be a couple hundred dollars. Turns out it was 22% on top of everything which ended up being thousands of dollars. My copy of the contract didnt have an exact amount on it and found out the amount about 2 weeks from our wedding. The contract also didn’t state any of the extras and were told it’s in the notes and they only write up a general contract. We were feeling pressured to sign otherwise they would give up our hold. Everything was fine, then our coordinator stopped communicating and we got someone else who never actually responded. The new lady got replaced after a month or two. After meeting with the 3rd person, she told us that the extras weren’t included and we were given false information. She did try her best to accommodate, but with the added stress of fighting for what we were promised and not actually getting everything, it quickly became clear that it wasn’t worth over $10000. After a few months we received yet another new venue coordinator who then had her last day the day before our rehearsal, so we were passed on again.While setting up on the day we couldn’t find staff, during the ceremony we kept having mic issues (they provided the mic not a DJ), the servers kept taking away our food even after we asked them to leave it, we asked the desserts be brought out after dinner; they were out for cocktail hour.They brought out our late night bite late and then left it out for about an hour and didnt actually tell anyone it was out, we couldn’t make an announcement, finally they made last call at 11pm and shut us down at 11:30. Last call was supposed to be 11:30, shut down at midnight, and we would have till 1 to clean up. The cleaning staff started mopping the hallways well before we were done. They also, “did us a favor” by packing and moving all our stuff out of the bridal suite where we were told our stuff was safe and secure. This is a broad picture of everything, but it’s enough to understand. Some positives, they let us take home entries even though we weren’t supposed to. The bartender and chef were amazing! Not only was the food delicious, but they really accommodated my husband's allergies as well as everyone else’s. Finally, we appreciated them trying to make all the accommodations after we were promised them. In the end it was all beautiful. My biggest advice about Bunker Hills Event Center is yes, it’s beautiful, but it is not worth the money.

We loved our experience with Bunker Hills Event Center. We toured the venue with one person, and seamlessly transitioned to working with Kelene once we booked the venue. She made herself consistently available to answer every question we had, and made sure we knew exactly how the space would be organized. On our actual wedding day, our experience with the entire catering team was fantastic. They were professional, kind, and went above and beyond to serve us. For example, we had a guest who had recently had their wisdom teeth removed. The kitchen made a special bowl of soup for him (not on our prepaid menu) so he could enjoy the dinner. Annie, the head of catering, was excellent. She made sure our head table was well taken care of and always had extra water and whatever we needed. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to other couples.

I had my wedding at Bunker Hills 9.16 and it was absolutely fantastic. I have wanted my wedding here since I can remember! Along with the beautiful venue there were so many fantastic spots to take pictures. Bunker Hills staff and coordinator were there from the beginning until the end. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, expertise and friendly staff. We had a large wedding and they made everything go so smoothly to make it a perfect and magical day! Thank you to the all the staff at Bunker Hills! I would relive this day over and over again if I could!

This venue was the perfect place to get married! The outside ceremony space is beautiful and the ballroom is large and spacious and set up perfectly for dinner and dancing. We had Cambrie as our point of contact for all things wedding and she was so attentive, kind and willing to help solve anything that came up. I loved that Bunker had food and drinks included in their package, because that’s two less vendors you need to contact and organize. Our guests raved about the food saying it was the best wedding food they have had! The food came out quickly and the servers were kind and helpful.I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Bunker Hills!

This venue was the perfect place to get married! The outside ceremony space is beautiful and the ballroom is large and spacious and set up perfectly for dinner and dancing. We had Cambrie as our point of contact for all things wedding and she was so attentive, kind and willing to help solve anything that came up. I loved that Bunker had food and drinks included in their package, because that’s two less vendors you need to contact and organize. We loved our wedding at Bunker Hills! First off, it looked amazingly beautiful! I knew without a doubt the crew spent a lot of time and hard work setting it up for us!!! The sales manager, Cambrie McCollor, had been in constant contact with my wife and I throughout the month leading up to our event. We both thought it was awesome for the amount of time she put forth keeping us in the loop. It was apparent how much they care about your expectations when assisting you with throwing an event. Cambrie's high-spirited personality definitely left a thumbprint on us and our family during the planning and execution of our day. The catering menu consisted of so many delicious choices! We struggled making a decision but Cambrie helped us make a final decision and we are still getting compliments to this day about how good it was! We loved Cambries strait forward, honest opinions and appreciated her yes's and no's when it came to our extra ideas and her work proved to be the best choices because of how beautiful things turned out to be! We built trust with the staff here at Bunker Hills and we'd recommend hosting here for future events! I'm so glad and thankful to have someone like Cambrie and the other staff here to help with such an important event! It makes us thank God for that blessing! Thank you for everything!

I am soooo grateful and happy that we chose Bunker Hills Event Center to have our wedding reception (May 20, 2023). For the longest time I didn't even want to book a venue since I was worried it would involve tons of dreaded planning. Thank God I finally did though because our wedding reception was unforgettable, beautiful & nearly stress free! Cambrie McCollor (Sales Manager) was our main point of contact - from our tour, tasting, and miscellaneous planning, all the way to our wedding day. I honestly don't think I could have done this without her positive/calming attitude, and overwhelming help! I literally feel like we showed up for our wedding and everything was taken care of making everything fall right into place - seamlessly. Cambrie was very accommodating, easy to work with and always responded before I would've expected. The bridal party was able to get ready at Bunker, then go out on the golf course for some beautiful photos. We had an off-site ceremony but when we got back the grand ballroom was beautiful - the staff and my friends/family did such a great job putting everything together. The food was phenomenal - we received so many compliments on the taste as well as the portions! They have a beautiful yard to have your ceremony but since I already had my ceremony venue Cambrie gave me the idea to have our first dance outside with our loved ones surrounding us! How cool. I can't say enough good things about Bunker Hills Event Center. This venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing! I can't wait to book other miscellaneous events here in the future!

My husband and I just got married at Bunker Hills Event Center May 2023. We are so grateful for Cambrie who helped us plan our perfect day. She was responsive, accommodating, creative, and fun to work with. The venue was absolutely perfect with amazing staff. The food was great. Lots of unique areas for pictures. Outdoor ceremony space is beautiful. I would recommend this venue to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

My husband and I just got married at Bunker Hills Event Center May 2023. We are so grateful for Cambrie who helped us plan our perfect day. She was responsive, accommodating, creative, and fun to work with. The venue was absolutely perfect with amazing staff. The food was great. Lots of unique areas for pictures. Outdoor ceremony space is beautiful. I would recommend this venue to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

Just photographed my first wedding reception there and was very impressed! The space is large enough to host a 150+ guests, the staff was very friendly, and the food was fantastic! Hope to photograph many more weddings at Bunker Hills!

My fiancée and I were looking for a nice, reasonably priced venue for our modest sized wedding. Wow, did we feel fortunate to find Bunker Hills, and our wedding coordinator, Shannon Hartinger! More on Shannon later, and an additional shout out to Callie who started the process for us!Our ceremony was setup on the backside of the clubhouse, with our guests seated to view portions of the course!We had about 60 people, and the simulator/ballroom with many golf course facing windows was perfect for our reception. This reception space overlooked the ceremony setup and was immediately accessible from the ceremony seating area, via an adjoining deck and a few stairs. The outdoor deck (w bar) was a great space for people to gather prior to the wedding, and was also a nice spot for guests to hang out during the reception if they chose. The simulator/ballroom had plenty of space for our guest seating (hi and low tables), inside bar, 20x20 dance floor, DJ setup, many appetizers (what we served rather than meals), and gift table. Plenty of room to walk around and visit!Back to Shannon…Professional, kind, sweet, accommodating, responsive, and most of all very helpful through the entire process, (from pre-planning, all the way through the event).She helped us with food choices, bar arrangements, room layout, ceremony song selection, microphone/speaker setup for the ceremony, collaboration with our DJ, ceremony procession walkthrough, and strategizing best way to hide my bride-to-be from her marine son who was a surprise attendee! She did it all with grace, and made us feel special at every turn!We did all of this for about 4K, including the DJ for almost five hours! BTW…call Jake Carter at Eleventh Ave Productions if you need a great DJ!! Tommy and Colton were awesome!!I never post reviews, but Bunker Hills and Shannon provided such great service that it needed to be recognized!Good luck!Tom Giles

Bunker hills event center was perfect! The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful, the staff is so helpful and friendly! The food is phenomenal and all of my guest talked about how good it was! They were easy to work and comminuted well with us! I would highly recommend this venue!

My daughter's wedding was last weekend and it was fabulous. Callie was excellent to work with and so patient answering multiple questions -- more than once -- since the wedding had to be reschedule due to COVID. The food was delicious. We should have ordered more of the ice cream sundae bar. :-) They were gone in a flash! I loved how they were displayed, too! People loved them. The reception area looked beautiful, everyone was very pleasant and helpful, and we got nothing but compliments about the entire day. My daughter's wedding was last weekend and it was fabulous. Callie was excellent to work with and so patient answering multiple questions -- more than once -- since the wedding had to be reschedule due to COVID. The food was delicious. We should have ordered more of the ice cream sundae bar. :-) They were gone in a flash! I loved how they were displayed, too! People loved them. The reception area looked beautiful, everyone was very pleasant and helpful, and we got nothing but compliments about the entire day. Thank you for helping to make our daughter's wedding truly wonderful.

Our wedding and Bunker Hills Event Center was everything we could of dreamed of and more. Callie was amazing from the start and was always responsive and answered all of our questions and helped throughout the entire planning process, made sure the day of the rehearsal we had everything and on the day of made sure everything ran smoothly. We wanted a place where we could have the ceremony and reception and Bunker Hills Event Center checked all of those boxes. We got so many compliments on the venue, food and even the staff. I would highly recommend Bunker Hills Event Center!

Our wedding and Bunker Hills Event Center was everything we could of dreamed of and more. Callie was amazing from the start and was always responsive and answered all of our questions and helped throughout the entire planning process, made sure the day of the rehearsal we had everything and on the day of made sure everything ran smoothly. We wanted a place where we could have the ceremony and reception and Bunker Hills Event Center checked all of those boxes. We got so many compliments on the venue, food and even the staff. Bunker Hills was better than I could have imagine! It was great to be able to have our ceremony and reception in one place, the outdoor ceremony area is incredibly beautiful! Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day and we had to do our ceremony indoors (and it was still stunning!) and we are so thankful Bunker has a Plan B for uncooperative weather. We received so many compliments from our guests about the delicious food. We worked with Callie while planning our wedding and she was incredible to say the least. She was always there to answer any questions we had and worked with us to make our wedding everything we could have dreamed of.

It was affordable and if you desire, it can be a one stop shop. We had our ceremony, reception, photos, dessert, drinks, everything through Bunker! We got ready there as well. It made it so easy to have one location and one main vendor! The service was amazing both on our wedding day and throughout the planning process. The staff felt like family. Bunker Hills was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding reception! The inside space is beautiful, the outside is gorgeous with all the trees, and the guests ALL raved about the food. We loved the bridal suit for the girls to get ready in and the space for the guys to hangout in was great, too. Our event coordinator was Diane, and she was the sweetest and most flexible person! She made sure the day was exactly how we imagined, and she kept everything running perfectly smooth! We are so happy we choose Bunker Hills, and we would do it again 100x!

My husband and I were more than thrilled with our decision to use Bunker Hills for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception in June of 2018! We knew immediately after walking in that this was where we wanted to get married! Callie was so amazing to work with and so helpful. My husband and I live in Michigan and she made planning a wedding from 600 miles away so easy! She was so quick to respond to my dozens of phone calls and emails. She worked with us to plan visits and the food tasting around our schedules as we were limited with timing due to distance. The food for the reception and the rehearsal dinner was phenomenal, we are still getting compliments 4 months later. We ended up having to move the ceremony inside due to rain but Callie and the venue team made the transition so easy and it was still a beautiful service. We loved the open layout of the ballroom and the ability to use the bridal suite and the conference room for getting ready. The venue staff that served dinner wasjust phenomenal and so kind. We can't say enough good things about Bunker Hills and will recommend it to anyone that asks!

We loved this venue! The grounds were gorgeous and the ballroom was elegant and regal. All the staff was easy to work with easy to get a hold of. The food was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We got tons of rave reviews from all our guests about how delicious our chosen meal was! We both had to get second helpings of those amazing braised beef short ribs and fingerling potatoes! It was a great day and thankfully we were blessed with great weather! A five star venue and surprisingly affordable! I would definitely recommend!

We actually got married in the park and rented pavilion 3 for our ceremony and reception. I always wanted a weddding in the woods. But with unpredictable weather and the amount of details to make that happen, Bunker Hills was the best alternative. We had so many great photo options nearby and we had the perfect day for an outdoor wedding. And if it would have rained we would have had coverage in a beautiful vaulted pavilion. The park was great with helping us answer questions and accommodating us.

Diane was absolutely amazing to work with from the planing to the day of the wedding! Throughout the planning process Diane paid very close attention to detail, had awesome ideas, and answered all of our questions right away. Diane and her staff at Bunker went above and beyond throughout the entire night. One specific example that really meant a lot to me was when my husband and I were going table to table to talk with everyone throughout dinner we got so busy we missed our own dinner and the staff came up to us and told us that they noticed we missed our dinner and whenever we had time they would have something ready for us. The staff not only took great care of us, but all of our guests and their dietary needs as well.We could not have asked for the night to have gone any better! We had 250+ guests and had plenty of space and many commented on how great of a venue Bunker is filled with friendly staff, awesome food, and overall wonderful atmosphere! If you want a venue that you can totally trust I would highly recommend Bunker Hills Event Center! Even our other vendors commented on how great Bunker was to work with!

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for our experience at Bunker Hills Event Center! We had our ceremony outside in the amphitheater and our reception inside in the ballroom. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the staff were throughout the day. We had many guests coming from out of town for our wedding day, so it was important that we could have both the ceremony and reception at the same venue. We worked with Callie throughout the planning process and let me tell you - what a rockstar! From catering options to working with our vendors to decor set-up and assisting with our rehearsal - she took such good care of us throughout the entire process! There was a meeting the morning of our wedding, so we could not get into the ballroom to decorate until 2:30 pm the day of our wedding (which started at 4:00 pm). Callie and her staff (along with my personal attendants) took care of everything and had everything ready to go by the time social hour started at 4:30 pm! Everyone was so professional, organized, accommodating, and experienced in everything they did. We highly recommend Bunker Hills Event Center for all your wedding needs!

We worked with Diane at Bunker Hills Event Center and have nothing but incredible things to say. Our entire experience was better than we could have asked. Diane quickly responded to all of our e-mails and questions throughout our entire 18month engagement, was very flexible and accommodating, and was so helpful in our entire planning process. Then venue itself is beautiful and worked perfectly for us. We had our ceremony on the outside lawn and it was absolutely perfect. The ballroom is bright, natural, and large without feeling too big or impersonal. I got ready in the bridal suite which was large enough for my bridal party of 7 to get dressed and get make up done. We did move to the ballroom for natural lighting during 'getting ready' pictures just because the bridal suite doesn't have any exterior windows, but it was the perfect place to store our belongings and worked as a good 'home base' throughout the day. The guys used the conference room which worked out great for them to have a private space away from us girls and was large enough to allow them to play some games before they needed to be ready.The staff at Bunker took care of all of the details from set-up to tear down at the end of the night. We had so much confidence in them with our special day and solving any problems that may have come along. We didn't have to think twice about taking care of the logistics of the day because they took care of it all (move the gift table and the place card table, taking down the chairs at the ceremony site, delivering special meals/high chairs/ etc. to people that needed them, etc.).We couldn't have asked for better people to work with or a better location for such a special day.

Bunker Hills was a great choice for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception venue. The outdoor reception area is absolutely beautiful. The onsite bridal suite was great for getting ready the day of. Diane was so helpful during the entire process. She had a lot of great tips and insight and was in general a very calming presence during the entire process. The food was AMAZING for both the rehearsal dinner and reception. We had the rehearsal dinner in the Golf Hall of Fame room and everyone thought it was really cool. Diane went above and beyond on the groom's cake that was requested last minute, it was a big hit! The entire staff did a great job during the reception and the head chef came to talk to us after dinner to make sure everything went well. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone. She had a lot of great tips and insight and was in general a very calming presence during the entire process. The food was AMAZING for both the rehearsal dinner and reception. We had the rehearsal dinner in the Golf Hall of Fame room and everyone thought it was really cool. Diane went above and beyond on the groom's cake that was requested last minute, it was a big hit! The entire staff did a great job during the reception and the head chef came to talk to us after dinner to make sure everything went well. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone. We've now had our outside wedding and reception (260) as well as other corporate events here (300+). We initially looked at over 15 venues around the cities and settled on Bunker... in large part because it was available (barely).\r\rJessica is an amazing coordinator, easy to work with on the corporate side and exceptional on the wedding side. Nothing ruffles her feathers and stays on top of everything. We've received numerous complements on the class, comfort, promptness, and professionalism of Jessica, her staff as well as the venue as a whole. This sentiment was echoed by all of the vendors we worked with, who would know.\r\rPricing was obvious, food was great, audio/visual was easy, cell phone/internet reception wasn't an issue as with many places. Many choices were simply included without the up charge such as linen colors and outside chairs.\r\rThe only thing that I had concern about initially was that the music had to stop by 11:30pm. We filled the dance floor all night and I will tell you after a very long day for everyone it was a blessing to end on a high note before things had a chance to go downhill. For those that had the ability to go on, relocating to a hotel after party was a welcome change. This also let everyone who was cleaning up after to get out at a reasonable time.

A few reasons: the capacity is large, the decor is neutral and you can really do anything with the space (light brown maple woodwork and natural light brown carpet - not like crazy bright carpet you see at Hotels that don't go with any decor.), and it the restaurant there has good food so we knew the venue would too. Overall, the staff were very responsive, professional and helpful. It was a great place for a reception!

Jenna, the wedding coordinator, was great to work with and was very helpful along the way. The food that was prepared was delicious and we received many compliments on it. The colors of our wedding were tans, neutrals and whites so the design of the hall match perfectly. To top it all off my finance and I are big golfers and we were able to have our cocktail hour in the MN Golf Hall of Fame. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have our reception! \r\rThe only couple of warnings I would give is that a standard chair cover does not fit on their chairs so we had to use bag style chair covers. Also the weddings end at 11:30 however we just started a little early and I didn't even realize it. \r\rWe went with the buffet option and had feta and spinach stuffed chicken. It was a really good wedding meal and the buffet went very smoothly with 200+ guests. It was a really good value for the price.\r\rThere is a bridal room at Harvest Grill that all the girls used to get ready in. We started our pictures at Bunker Hills Golf Course (it is a beautiful background for pictures) and then went to the church from there. It was perfect as we could leave everything at Bunker Hills in a locked room.\r\rI would recommend Harvest Grill for anyone looking for their wedding. I wish I could put in words how much I truly enjoyed the day!

The staff that initally met with us wa far beyond helpful. IT was the first place we visited and fell in love with it instantly. The food was excellent, the choices were endless and it was very well priced. Not to mention the room setup, it had separate places for dancing, eating as well as its own built in bar. We weren't required to move tables from the dance floor and the bar was not moving around the room. The windows and swag added a nice touch of elegance. The staff was on top of everything. It ran according to schedule and not a minute later. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were able to spend as much time with us as needed. Our outside vendors said they were very easy to work with and very professional.;There really isnt anything that we would warn other couples about. All of our guests still complinent our reception choice and the things that went with it. I would highly recommend The Reserve to anyone.

The food was excellent, the choices were endless and it was very well priced. Not to mention the room setup, it had separate places for dancing, eating as well as its own built in bar. We weren't required to move tables from the dance floor and the bar was not moving around the room. The windows and swag added a nice touch of elegance. The staff was on top of everything. It ran according to schedule and not a minute later. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were able to spend as much time with us as needed. Our outside vendors said they were very easy to work with and very professional.;There really isnt anything that we would warn other couples about. All of our guests still complinent our reception choice and the things that went with it. I would highly recommend The Reserve to anyone.

Meet the Bunker Hills Event Center Team
Cambrie McCollor & Kelene Pfennig (Coordinator) Cambrie McCollor started in the industry at Lumber Exchange before moving to Crave. She wanted to see what life outside the hospitality industry was like so she started her own business. Finding she missed the industry she joined the field again by joining Bunker Hills. Kelene Pfennig has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Kelene grew up in small town ND then moved around the country for sake of adventure before finding herself in Hawaii. Working events during this time with a restaurant and catering company. She moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family.
