From a bluff edge grassy patio to an open air pavilion on the bluff to our 6100 sq foot event center featuring a reclaimed timber frame nave from an 1892 Pennsylvania church. Burns Bluff at High Falls brings together amazing historic architecture with the functionality of a barn and is all set on one of the most beautiful places in North Alabama. With available lodging for up to 28 guests, an amazing bridal suite in our Bluff Lodge and hang out space for the groom and his guys in the event center, Burns Bluff Lodge has thought of everything to make your special day perfect.

Natalie, Courtney, Karen and the entire Burns Bluff team made my entire weekend a fairytale. The staff made everything special, seamless, and more beautiful than I thought possible. The beauty of the venue is obvious for all who visit, but the beauty of the team that run the show, decorate, and put everything together are the stars of the show that are never really seen behind the scene. Each location from the Ceremony Pavilion, Charn, Lodge, and overall grounds were spectacular. My friends and family still keep talking about how incredible the location was. It really is a destination weddingAlso the decorators closet really is a dream. It was so much fun going through the items with Natalie and putting together my ideal table settings, decorations, table set up and more. She made a vision come to life and the decorations were phenomenal. They went above and beyond incorporating my small touches, like pictures of my family, 1001 paper cranes that we folder, etc. Every detail was perfect and they thought of everything. At every turn they had the answer and helped guide me in planning from halfway across the country. Everything was flawless and just seemed perfect. It was the best weekend in the world and we loved every minute. Thank you all so much.

I got married here in May 2021, it was beyond amazing! Karen and her staff made everything run so smoothly and it looked perfect! The grounds and scenery is truly breath taking!

Burns Bluff at High Falls is an actual dream brought to life. From the moment I arrived for a tour, Karen greeted me with a smile and a presence that was so comforting and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She is absolutely fantastic to work with and has a vision that is endless. Karen and her staff were able to make every request I had happen in a few moments and it was carried out with perfection. When crossing over to the bluff, tears actually came to my eyes every time because this property and venue is unbelievably beautiful. The ceremony site overlooking the bluff was exactly what I had envisioned as a place to say our vows. The Charn is detailed to perfection and made for the perfection reception site (especially getting announced as husband and wife from the loft balcony) š One thing I really wanted when planning a wedding was a place for me and my bridesmaids to stay the night before the wedding and The Lodge was 100% incredible, beautiful, and perfect for this. Throughout the whole weekend, I had more compliments on how beautiful and charming this venue was - which is absolutely true. However, being able to work with Karen and the Burns Bluff staff made it even more wonderful. Burns Bluff at High Falls is the picture-perfect, romantic-feeling, and endlessly beautiful venue that made my fairytale wedding come true

Karen Tillery (Owner) Iām Karen Tillery, I am a Christ following wife and mom of four, a log cabin loving designer and decorator, and the crazy queen of up-cycling. I am a Birmingham born southern girl and an Auburn University grad. My husband and I have lived in Huntsville, Al for 22 years. What started as one log home on the lake for our family has turned into a much, much bigger thing than I ever could have imagined, Restoration Log Cabins. I work with Mark Bowe, star of the DIY Network show, Barnwood Builders, redesigning and helping create modern homes into the timeless exteriors of the old log cabins.
