*UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT* Burntshirt Vineyards is a wedding venue located in the historic town of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Comprising a winery, tasting room, and beautifully manicured grounds, this property overlooks acres of sweeping vineyards, from which it harvests grapes for its prized vintages. Half an hour south of Asheville and an hour north of Greenville, this venue is a secluded and breathtaking retreat in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Facilities and Capacity Burntshirt Vineyards boasts multiple celebration spots in lush outdoor locations and elegant indoor spaces. Ceremonies can be held in the vineyard, on the terrace, or in the meadows. Couples can stroll through the rows of grapes and find an intimate and atmospheric spot to say "I do". Between the apple orchard and the horse barn are the meadows, which provide picturesque spots to tie the knot. The barn also makes for an intimate and atmospheric reception spot. The classic red barn is newly refurbished to exude rustic charm with its roomy outdoor patio, exposed beams, oak barrels, and warm lighting. A large chalkboard can be used to write down the menu, and round tables provide seating to enjoy a drink. Receptions can also be held in our brand new restaurant, which is modern, sleek, and features high ceilings and surrounding windows with a covered patio overlooking the vineyard. This space is ideal for receptions, rehearsal dinners, and other celebrations. The Summit Center is an additional ndoor space for guests to gather and enjoy a delicious meal and dancing. This elegant center is furnished with wrought iron chandeliers, heavy beams, a fireplace, and an antique bar. Services Offered Rental of Burntshirt Vineyards comes a one-hour rehearsal prior to the wedding. Packages include round tables and folding or Chiavari chairs; floor-length linens; buffet, gift, and cake tables; and setup and breakdown. The venue offers A/V support for DJs or band, as well as a spacious dance floor. Wine, Beer, and Liquor can be accommodated with the purchase of a drink pacakge allowing couples and their guests to taste award-winning wines. The Summit location has a flat-screen TV and wireless internet. We are now offering catering packages, through our on-site restaurant. Accommodations Lavish overnight accommodations are available at the Vintner's Cottage and the Maxwell House. The Vintner’s Cottage is a 1939 stone cottage that has been lovingly restored and furnished with vintage accent pieces. A full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and front and back porches make this retreat cozy and convenient. The Maxwell House, an elegant Victorian that dates back to the mid-1800s, has four separate suites and is perfect for wedding parties. Suites come with hardwood floors, a kitchenette with vintage glass cabinets, and a living room that features a crystal chandelier.

After multiple venues either not responding once they found out it would be a LGBT wedding or was outrageously priced we knew we wanted something simple yet rustic and have flexibility to cut down on our budget that was already not enough. We reached out to Michelle the event coordinator at Burntshirt vineyard thinking no way we would this vineyard be within our small budget but we was very wrong Michelle reached out immediately and was very patient to answer my millions of questions it was meant to be!! Her and her staff was so amazing and helpful to easy as much stress as possible setting up the day of our wedding if you’re looking for a vineyard wedding be sure to check them out.

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at Burntshirt Vineyards in Hendersonville and could not be happier that we did! The venue is gorgeous and the views are amazing! We had use of the Summit Room and a portion of the Terrace. There was plenty of space for our party of 100, with room to move in and out with ease. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with, from the bartenders to Michele Revis, our main point of contact. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and always available to help with questions or concerns. Burntshirt has an excellent selection of wines - our guests were very complimentary of our choices. They were so easy to work with when it came to using our personal decorations and when working with our wedding planner and outside vendors for flowers, tents, linens, etc. We love visiting Burntshirt for a glass of wine or a meal for a regular occasion. Now we can highly recommend using this beautiful venue for a special event as well! Our special night was truly wonderful!

We had our wedding at Burntshirt and it was highly memorable. Michelle was very responsive, informative, and all around excited to help in any way. The landscape and grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful. This venue provided an extraordinary setting and unforgettable experience. Michelle and the restaurant staff helped make our experience more delightful. We had dinner at Vintner’s Table. Vintner’s table was elegant. We are so happy we chose Burntshirt and would highly recommend the venue.

Wedding Date 07-06-2023
We booked with Burntshirt for our wedding reception venue. Our wedding planner couldn’t get a hold of them for months. We went to our scheduled/ mandatory wine/ food tasting and the staff didn’t know who we were or why we were there. The person responsible for our event had quit and nobody knew what was going on. The staff members were apologetic and attempted to accommodate us. Then, the Burntshirt owners had their lawyer call us just 3 weeks before our wedding date and try to get out of the contract on a technicality that was their fault and that we had no control over. We scrambled for the next 3 weeks and with the help of a different venue and some amazing people, we made it work anyway and we had a great wedding/ reception at the other venue. However, it was incredibly stressful, and we think it’s worth warning people about Burntshirt and their lack of empathy/ morals as a company.
