If you’re looking to have a truly unique, special, and beautiful wedding experience, look no further than Bush Meadow Farm. First of all, from the start all the way to the finish you will have thorough and pleasant communication with Nancy and Barry. They are not just great, professional hosts, they are great people first, something that was important to me and my wife with all our vendors involved in our wedding because they needed to care about our special day. Nancy and Barry did! We found our guests enjoying all parts of the farm. We had beautiful weather so we decided to keep the barn doors in the reception barn wide open, placed speakers on the outside as well as the inside, creating a sort of indoor/outdoor reception. Some people were inside at their tables and on the dance floor, some were hanging out or dancing on the patio, some were out in the field enjoying the bonfire or playing yard games, some were enjoying our photo area by the floating doors, and some were simply walking the farm to visit the animals and seeing the sights. My brother at one point said I should’ve left the barn doors closed for a bit so the dance floor would be packed. I told him that’s the beauty of the venue, let your guests decide what they would like to do best so everyone is having a wonderful time… and they did!!! In fact this is the last text message I received from a guest at my wedding after I asked if he had fun: “ I had a great time! It was so nice to catch up with Donna and John. Plus finally getting to meet Donna's BF, Russ was a long time coming. Totally laughed at the \"still\" part of your vows. 😂😂😂 Awesome choice of venue too! Looking forward to being able to hang with you guys again!” This was the typical and unsolicited feedback from our guests: that they had a blast and they were surprised and impressed with the venue. If you’re someone who enjoys the versatility and freedom of a venue that allows multiple options for guests to enjoy, do yourself the favor of booking Bush Meadow Farm!!!

We knew from the moment we met Barry and Nancy, that our wedding dreams would come alive at Bush Meadow Farms. The space allowed for so much more than we could ask for....from a beautiful piece of property to hold our engagement picture shoot, to a place to host our rehearsal dinner and then have our amazing wedding. Being able to come in early Friday and start setting up, and then having Sunday morning to break down and clean up, made this experience not rushed and convenient. The Vrbo apartment allowed our close family that was here from out of state to stay with us and spend some quality time together. This wedding venue allowed for a night of dancing, playing lawn games, roasting marshmallows by the fire, and overall a perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony and indoor/outdoor reception. We recommend this space for weddings, or any other event. Thank you to Barry and Nancy for your hospitality and warm welcoming nature. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding weekend!

We booked this property/venue for our wedding and could not be happier with our choice. The grounds are beautiful, the house is everything you could ever want and need and the owners are extremely accommodating and flexible. I can’t say enough great things about this property and its owners. Anyone who decides to book Bush Meadow Farm will not be disappointed, I know we most certainly are not! Our only wish is that we could go back and relive it all over again!

Nancy and Barry are amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was the best it could possibly be. They allowed us to book the venue from Friday-Sunday completely to ourselves with no other weddings through out the weekend. Even with the pouring rain and a change of plans, Nancy and Barry made themselves avaible at all times not only to us but also to all our vendors and gave us many options on how to utilize the property in more ways than imaginable. My husband and I highly recommend Bush Meadow Farm.

Perfect wedding venue for all our 150 guests! Absolutely stunning property that is so well maintained. We were married in the large field behind the main reception hall, on a small semi-circular knoll that was the perfect spot raised up enough for all our guests to see. My wife and bridesmaids stayed at the venue the night before in the apartment, which is in a completely separate building from where we had our reception and large enough it would have been adequate to have our wedding in. There is more then enough room for the largest of weddings and every space is just as gorgeous as the last. All our guests and family were absolutely blown away! Nancy and Barry communicated the entire time, worked with us, our wedding planner, and all our vendors to make our entire experience seamless. They are so friendly and flexible, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Truly blessed to have found them. Thank you so much to both of you!

Meet the Bush Meadow Farm, LLC Team
We have been hosting Weddings and Events here on the farm since 1998. Nancy is an Intensive Care Nurse with over 40 years of experience. I am a retired US Army Aviator. After returning to Connecticut we found this wooded parcel of land and started our farm. As stewards of this farm we practice organic techniques without any pesticides or herbicides.
