Callahan's Mountain Lodge is a historic family-owned wedding venue in Ashland, OR. The Mountain Lodge is part of a rich Oregon tradition of family-owned and operated businesses. Callahan always dreamed of working and residing in the Siskiyou Mountains. After serving in World War II, he chiseled out a building site from the solid rock of the hillside. On March 23, 1947, Callahan's Café opened its doors for business. Eighteen years later, the venue had expanded and evolved into a ski lodge, reminiscent of how it looks today. In September 2020, Mark and Lisa Cleaner became just the third owners of Callahan's Mountain Lodge. The Cleaners wanted to honor the historical legacy of the location while welcoming engaged couples to celebrate their wedding day. The venue is ideal for weddings as the indoor lodge can easily accommodate a 150-person wedding party. The beautiful outdoor lawn suits up to 300 guests and features incredible panoramic mountainside views, highlighted by the babbling waterfall nearby. The Cleaners are happy to allow you to tour this extraordinary place to showcase how they can create your ideal wedding experience.
