Callaway Reviews
Jen Heckadon(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-01-2019 I reached out to Callaway regarding a wedding for next year and the manager has been abrupt and slow with responses, taking a week in between the emails. The quote was incredibly high for what we were asking for and when I asked when we would be able to take a tour, I was told that we should pay the entrance fee and go through ourselves because it is incredibly hard for her to coordinate times with the multiple departments. When other places are eager to meet us and show us around, this establishment acts like we are an afterthought. It's just too much work! Reviewed on 02-11-2017
Adrianne DiVito(wedding party)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-06-2018 My daughter's wedding was March 18, 2018 and it was absolutely beautiful! The wedding was in the Ida Mason Chapel, which was so exquisite! The reception was in the Ironwood Court at the Spa and Lodge , and Leslie Brown was wonderful- My daughter wanted an outside reception and although it was raining in the morning.. and early afternoon, Leslie Brown watched the weather channel and saw that it was going to clear later in the day .So my daughter did get to have her outside reception with the beautiful fireplace, and ambiance. The wedding was small and all of the guests stayed in the Southern Pines cottages, which were walking distance to the reception.. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams! Reviewed on 24-04-2017
Julianna Rose Ferrone(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-04-2015 Callaway gardens is absolutely beautiful! Our pictures look amazing because of it! So much natural beauty. Sharon is a great person too. However the day of, we had several issues go wrong and it seemed nobody knew what to do even thought it was described in the contract. Overall I'm not sure I would pick it again. Reviewed on 21-04-2015
Rebecca Hogle(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2013 We used the chapel for the ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful, especially with the stained glass and scenery. However, communicating with Callaway and trying to plan with them is a nightmare. Reviewed on 12-06-2013

Hannah Russell(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-03-2010 I loved this spot for a wedding! It was absolutely beautiful!!! I have been to Callaway's several times before and love it, but with the elders in my family not being able to travel well, I chose to use somewhere closer to where I live. Reviewed on 09-08-2010
Kate Henry(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-04-2010 My family has been vacationing at Callaway Gardens for over 20 years. While it is a GORGEOUS place to get married, they are very hard to deal with. I planned my wedding there from across the country and they did not make anything easy on me. If you are willing to put the effort in to force the things you want, this place is still great. You can't recreate the small chapel in the woods or the beautiful botanical gardens. I just suggest proceeding with caution. They also have an iron clad contract, so don't sign until you are positive it is the place! Reviewed on 28-06-2010
