We are so so happy we chose to have our wedding at Callaway Winery. From the moment I toured the venue I just knew it was the one! Our guests were absolutely blown away with how beautiful the venue was. I even had a guest say her dream was always to get married at the Montage Hotel but changed her mind after seeing how gorgeous the Callway venue was! The ceremony site, cocktail hour spot, and reception room are all equally breathtaking. Aside from flowers, I did not do a whole lot of extra decor. It was not needed because the venue truly speaks for itself. The staff was so helpful from start to finish on making sure our wedding was the best day ever and it most definitely was.

Our guests were absolutely blown away with how beautiful the venue was. I even had a guest say her dream was always to get married at the Montage Hotel but changed her mind after seeing how gorgeous the Callway venue was! The ceremony site, cocktail hour spot, and reception room are all equally breathtaking. Aside from flowers, I did not do a whole lot of extra decor. It was not needed because the venue truly speaks for itself. The staff was so helpful from start to finish on making sure our wedding was the best day ever and it most definitely was.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Callaway! From the moment we went to the venue and met Samantha and her team, we knew we wanted to get married at Callaway. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and Samantha and her team are true professionals. They walked us through every step of the way through our wedding planning. They were always super easy to get in contact with and were very responsive. We purchased there wedding vendor package and that was a big help! They really work with top notch wedding vendors and this made the whole process seamless. On the wedding everything was executed and better than we had imagined! Our guests were so complementary of the venue the speed of food service and how our timeline flowed. The catering company Callaway uses has the best food. Our guests were super impressed with our food and of course the wine! I highly recommend Callaway as a venue for your special event!

They really work with top notch wedding vendors and this made the whole process seamless. On the wedding everything was executed and better than we had imagined! My husband and I got married here on 9/18/21. Leading up to the wedding, the wrong contract was sent to us multiple times for wrong guest amounts and wrong cost amounts without any of the verbally promised discounts added. They never even asked for final guest counts or bar counts and just assumed. On the wedding day, we were looking for someone who could make things happen without needing either of us to manage. It became apparent from the ceremony that we werenât going to get that. During the whole time leading up to the ceremony I had not seen our Callaway coordinator once. When My husband was going to walk down the aisle, He noticed a dog somewhere outside the venue who wouldnât stop barking and nobody thought to seek out the owner and silence the dog for the ceremony. Fast forward to me walking down the aisle . Out of absolutely left field, the venue across the street started blaring the song âplay that funky musicâ for the remainder of the ceremony. It was awful and it completely ruined the feelings of the ceremony for he and I. After the ceremony, we went to take pictures and the coordinator had my husband holding onto her phone for whatever reason. We were told that we would have appetizers brought to us during cocktail hour so we werenât starving but that never happened. We also put on the list that it was absolutely essential to take pictures in the vines (literally the whole reason why we wanted a vineyard wedding), which never happened because we were supposed to be escorted down in a golf cart throughout the vines which was not prepared for us and they could not locate for us until about 30-40 minutes later when it was too late, so the photographer made due by having us walk down a steep hill (which was hard for Megan to get her footing in her shoes and dress and she was nearly falling over if it werenât for me). And pictures there did not end up very good. There were a multitude of things that did not go smoothly during the reception, but the one thing at the end of the night that really rubbed me the wrong way was that the things I brought to the venue might have been packed up and at least ready to take to the car, but when the venue shut down, the nonexistent venue liaison (Chelsea) literally told Megan to clean out the bridal suite, which left her packing and carrying boxes to our car which my husband pulled up. I didnât imagine my wedding night ending with me piling boxes back to my car by myself. Iâm usually lenient with reviews and I let minor details slide, but the lack of initiative the was shown by your team and the venue staff made it apparent that all that mattered was that you guys had our money and showed up. Itâs obvious that accepting defeat was the theme of the night and making things happen hardly occurred. And to top it off, it took us over a month to get back our security deposit because communication is absolutely horrid from the venue. I hope this review can serve as a way for you to internally reflect on the customer service that your team lacked.

**BEWARE**Do NOT leave any items at the venue until the day after your wedding, they will not be safe or protected.To start off, Chelsea was our coordinator. She was incredibly kind and helpful. Chelsea moved on from this job, and we were moved to Samantha as a coordinator. From the beginning, Samantha would take a long time to respond to my emails, and she was always very short with her responses. I could tell that she did not want to take on our wedding, and she made sure that I knew it with her attitude.When I showed up to the location the morning of my wedding to get ready, the bridal suite had not been cleaned from the wedding the night before. It was trashed, and there were dirty diapers, food in the refrigerator, trash thrown all around in the bathroom, etc.The entire wedding day was amazing, everything ran smoothly thanks to my amazing planner, and everything looked beautiful. The service staff for dinner was amazing, and the food was wonderful.The bartender was rude to people that came back for more drinks, when we specifically paid for unlimited bar coverage, so that was pretty frustrating.I came to pick up my belongings the next morning (as I was told that I could do), and my totes were accounted for, but my bridal bouquet and sweetheart table flowers were missing, (nearly $900 worth of flowers). We sat at Callaway for 4 hours before making our 3 hour drive home trying to figure out what had happened to my flowers, which were very important to me. When we finally got to talk to Samantha, she was incredibly rude, unapologetic, and insincere. She repeatedly said that they are not responsible, and that my family/bridal party had to have taken my flowers because in \"all the time she's worked there, this has never happened\

We were wonderfully surprised by Callaway Winery. We initially had our hearts set on another venue for our wedding, but once we toured the property we were floored with how beautiful it was. The ceremony lawn has incredible views, which were even more stunning at sunset for our ceremony. And barrel room for the reception can easily be transformed into whatever you've envisioned for your special day.The venue coordinators, Chelsea & Samantha were so easy to work with and made the experience so much fun. And their partnered chef, Volker, is amazing at what he does. We wanted to have a plant based menu and his creativity for our menu, that was unique to our wedding, was something our guests couldn't stop complimenting. Honestly, everyone told us how incredible the venue was and how everything flowed.We had complete trust in the team there and were able to relax and enjoy our special day knowing that they had everything under control. I don't think we could have anticipated how beautiful and perfect everything was at Callaway.

Hello,I just wanted to leave some customer feedback. We had our wedding this past July. Honestly the location was amazing! But the support and guidance was very disappointing. We first signed up for a regular sized wedding and had amazing communication but with COVID we downsized to an intimate wedding. Immediately, after we did that we felt like an inconvenience. We were signed up to work with S and sent many many emails and finally we were sent over to C. Never heard from her. Donât get me wrong these people are very nice ladies but getting ahold of them was overwhelming. S never responded to any of our emails after the change. The worse was the day of the wedding. We signed up for a refreshment table and that was never set up until our bridal party mentioned it. We just felt like our coordinator wasnât there 100%. In fact, I think I only saw her once before the wedding. There were certain things we needed and I had my bridal party run to get her. After the wedding we really wanted to bring down our arch flowers and felt hurried so we said forget it. I get it our wedding was small but small weddings still need coordination and support. Every wedding should be special. Callaway was a great location and amazing place! We loved our wedding but man getting ahold of people was such a migraine.

Callaway was the most beautiful venue for our wedding! We had our ceremony outside and our reception was in the SPECTACULAR barrel room. This venue has the best sunset views in Temecula and classy, romantic vibes throughout their various spaces. Callaway was the most beautiful venue for our wedding! We had our ceremony outside and our reception was in the SPECTACULAR barrel room. This venue has the best sunset views in Temecula and classy, romantic vibes throughout their various spaces. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and their team was very accommodating when it came to that stressful process. Callaway does seem to have a high staff turnover as we had a total of 3 different coordinators throughout our engagement, the last one introducing herself to me only 1 day before our wedding. After two postponements due to COVID and then our original venue not reopening for weddings, we were forced to look for a new venue for our daughter's wedding at the last minute. We visited several wineries in the Temecula area and discovered Callaway at the perfect moment! Chelsea gave us a tour and showed us the wedding packages available. They did not have our Saturday date available, but they could accommodate us for the day after, a Sunday. We contacted our vendors immediately and all were able to stick with us with the date change. Chelsea helped us find a fantastic wedding planner and the two of them worked with us over the next few months to plan the best day of our daughter's life! Callaway has the most beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony that I have ever seen. High on a hill overlooking vast vineyards, it was spectacular in the late evening as the sun was setting. The bridal and grooms suites were spacious and comfortable. Cocktail hour on their large patio was delightful with plenty of comfortable seating areas for guests to wait for the reception to begin. Entering the amazing Callaway Barrel Room for dinner and dancing gave us chills! It is set up perfectly for a wedding reception with plenty of room for a large central dance floor surrounded by guest tables amid rows upon rows of stacked wine barrels. The food was absolutely delicious and served by attentive staff. Every single one of our guests has commented on how beautiful and amazing the wedding was. I can't thank Chelsea and the rest of the staff at Callaway for making a difficult situation turn into the dream wedding our daughter imagined 2 and a half years ago. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place for a very special event!

Callaway was a dream come true for our wedding. It was naturally beautiful and the sunsets at Callaway are stunning!!! Besides the gorgeous venue, the staff at Callaway is excellent. We worked with Samantha throughout the process. We expressed our concerns about having two brides without two bridal suites. They went out of their way to change the \"grooms\" suite to one that fits two brides. They even changed the sign on the wall to say \"Bellas.\" They always followed through with our requests, even adding the seltzers to our drink package! On the day of, my wife and I felt like VIPs. They treated so well and made sure we were always taken care of. I would recommend Callaway to anyone!! They are the best!

Callaway was the most beautiful venue for our wedding. Our family and friends LOVED this venue. The Callaway Winery staff and event staff were absolutely amazing to work with. The venue was beautiful on our wedding day. We got married outside, ceremony and reception (somewhat hard to find), it was hot but reliably windy. This venue has an excellent backup indoor option, but I am happy we didn't need it. Because we got married outside, the tasting room was still open and security did an excellent job of keeping our space for us. The staff and coordinators (we worked with Leah) were lovely and helpful recommending vendors, being responsive, and communicating with the caterer. I definitely recommend an additional day of coordinator. The venue was beautiful on our wedding day. We got married outside, ceremony and reception (somewhat hard to find), it was hot but reliably windy. This venue has an excellent backup indoor option, but I am happy we didn't need it. Because we got married outside, the tasting room was still open and security did an excellent job of keeping our space for us. The staff and coordinators (we worked with Leah) were lovely and helpful recommending vendors, being responsive, and communicating with the caterer. I definitely recommend an additional day of coordinator. Samantha had shown us around the venue and based on her and her team, we knew weâd be in good hands. The venue layout flows perfectly from beginning to end. The food was amazing, made by Chef Volker and his team, our guests are still giving us their compliments. Our dj who was recommended by them was phenomenal. We feel like we gained new friends (all of our vendors) along the way. I love that Shelby took the time to really go over things with us, answered many many questions, made sure we did all of our menu and wine tastings, and made sure that my schedules lined up on the day of. A huge thank you goes out to Shelby... without you, I would have been messy, and Samantha, thank you for making sure to come grab me before the ceremony to get a sneak peek of my venue... seeing it for the for the first time after all the planning is something I will never forget. You guys truly made our day special and we canât wait to come back and see you again for our wine pick up days. Of course we had to join the wine club! My husband and I looked at approximately 15 wedding venues (including 5 Temecula wineries) before deciding on Callaway. Callaway is by no means the cheapest venue in Temecula, but I do believe you get what you pay for, and Callaway was an absolute dream from beginning to end. The venue itself is STUNNING and immaculate, and offers so many location possibilities for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We knew we didnât want the standard, run-of-the-mill ballroom reception, and Callawayâs barrel room provided such a unique, beautiful space for our dinner and dancing! Another huge selling point for us was their âall-inclusive packageâ which allowed us to hire our photographer, florist, and DJ right off the bat, resulting in a whole lot less stress! All these vendors were fantastic to work with! Plus, theyâre Callaway regulars and know exactly where to go and what to do â once again, less stress for us! Shelby, our venue coordinator, was unbelievably amazing! She was another huge selling point for us, as we were deliberating between a couple wineries â she just has such a great vibe about her and you can tell that she absolutely loves what she does. Shelby seriously handled SO MUCH of the coordinating for us â from contacting our vendors to setting up extra dĂ©cor the day of â that we didnât have to hire an outside wedding planner (saving us a couple grand). I was blown away by how smoothly everything went on our wedding day, and how Shelby and the rest of the Callaway staff went above and beyond to ensure that my husband and I didnât have to worry about a single thing, other than enjoying our day! Just one small example of this â immediately after our ceremony, my husband and I were whisked off to the bridal suite by golf cart, where we were able to enjoy appetizers and champagne and bask in the joy of being just married for a few minutes before pictures began. This was such a sweet, unexpected touch⊠I mean, what bride and groom ever get to enjoy their cocktail hour appetizers?! Alone?! Leah and all the staff were so professional, friendly and supportive to ensure our wedding vision was a reality. On the day of the wedding, every little detail came together! The barrel room was set up perfectly for our romantic evening ceremony and the flip to the reception was outstanding and seamless! And of course the food and wine were exceptional. This among many reasons was a another big part of why we chose Callaway. All our friends and family had nothing but great things to say about the appetizers, dinner and wine!We look back and we still can't find something we would change about our venue. We loved Callaway! We are so glad that we chose Callaway for our wedding venue. It was absolutely beautiful, and we liked working with Samantha, Leah and their team. We toured 4 Temecula venues and without question chose Callaway based on the beautiful grounds and customer service from the very beginning. The grounds were by far the most beautiful we saw, they had multiple options to hold the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to completely design our day around our vision. We ended up having our ceremony on their grassy hill area overlooking the vines, with large trees to the side and the most perfect sunset. We took our photos in the vineyard while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour with tray passed appetizers on the lighted terrace with picturesque vines draping down the trellises, then headed into our reception in their rustic barrel room, where guests entered through the stainless steel fermentation room. All around gorgeous grounds with tons of choices to design your big day.We had just come from a venue tour from a top competitor across the way who were extremely arrogant and herded my (now) husband and I like cattle throughout the tour (we literally almost left halfway through), only to come to Callaway after that and see the insane contrast of what phenomenal customer service looks like from a staff who is not only effective, in high communication and truly cares, blew our minds. Half the reason we went with Callaway was because of Leah. My husband and I have been in customer service industries for over a decade each, he has worked with multiple caterers and I have worked for 3 wedding coordinators in the past, so for someone to absolutely blow our expectations away is something we do not come across often. Leah was absolutely incredible and there to answer any questions we had throughout the planning process and was so attentive and on top of it on our wedding day. We planned our wedding in under 100 days, and due to Leah and the Callaway staff, we were not stressed whatsoever. I can't tell you guys how many friends and family looked at us shocked beyond belief that we were doing a full blown wedding in less than 100 days and were as calm as we were throughout the planning period.With their help and ability to purchase the vendor package that Callaway offered (their preferred vendors are familiar with the venue who all had 5 star reviews and were absolutely amazing to work with), we not once had to worry about our venue, food, alcohol, florist, cake, dj, or photographer. We toured once and came back to the venue only one other time to do our food and beverage tastings before our wedding and that was it, everything else was a breeze with Leah and the staff. My new husband and I can't rave enough, go with Callaway. It was a perfect day, thank you all for your help and for flawlessly executing our wedding.

Getting married at Callaway was our best decision ever!!!! Our ceremony and reception was just last week end, August 18th, but our experience with Callaway started a few months ago when we went there for a visit, at the very beginning of our planning. We were so well supported from day 1 till the big day. Absolutely everything was perfect!1- Our coordinator: Leah is the best!!! She is the sweetest! We canât thank her enough for her help in making this day so perfect. She was so easy to work with, and she had a solution for everything! 2- The venue! I mean..what more can I say. The ceremony took place outside on the lawn. It was almost sunset. The view on the vines as a background. The reception took place indoor, in their barrel room. Again..WOW! Our guest (and ourselves) were very impressed. I just cant wait to see the pictures!3- food/beverages/service: we only got good comments from our guests about the meal, and the wine served at our reception. The staff was super nice and accomodating. I canât find anything negative to say, other than it went by too fast and I am sad it is already finished :( Thank you Callaway and thank you Leah, we both had the best day of our lives!! She kept up with our request and even last minute changes. We had a vision for our wedding and she did a fantastic job to make that a reality! Living 1,000+ miles away is surely harder to coordinate an event like this but Leah made it easy and possible.

I can go on for days on how amazing our wedding was, all thanks to Leah and Samantha! Callaway Winery has the most beautiful and breathtaking views. We got married on the west lawn, had cocktail hour near the stage and the reception in the barrel room. Our guests are still ranting and raving about how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. Samantha and Leah made the entire process so much easier and stress free. I absolutely adore them both and I have developed friendships with them through this process. I HIGHLY recommend Callaway to anyone looking to get married in Temecula. From day 1 they were so helpful, responsive and personable. Thank you Callaway for everything!! We love you!!!

I can go on for days on how amazing our wedding was, all thanks to Leah and Samantha! Callaway Winery has the most beautiful and breathtaking views. We got married on the west lawn, had cocktail hour near the stage and the reception in the barrel room. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Impeccable. From the day we walked in to tour the venue to last night 3/17/18 everything was simply beyond what we thought it would be. Samantha and Leah who helped us were phenomenal throughout the entire process. Little things like continually checking in on us and asking how we were doing and catering to us throughout the entire evening made us feel like royalty. We had a few weather changes before our wedding date and Callaway was so accommodating. If you want a beautiful wedding, something to remember for the rest of time, and have all your guests wowed continually throughout the night have your wedding at Callaway!

This venue was amazing. We worked with Leah, who really went above and beyond to make our day wonderful. It's not only the scenery, but the amount of work Leah put into every detail of our day to make sure it went smoothly. She walked us through the day multiple times beforehand, made sure we felt comfortable, and on the day made sure we were taken care of. She was punctual, professional, and we always felt like someone had our backs. Even after the ceremony, Leah brought us some champagne and some of our cocktail hour appetizers so we could just breathe and take in the moment. In addition to Leah's awesomness, the staff during the reception was incredible. They were really friendly, very attentive, and even our guests were complimenting us not only on the food (which is amazing) but on the staff. Seriously, who gets compliments on the wait staff? We did! Overall, we wouldn't change anything. Our day was amazing, and we owe a large part of it to Leah and the staff at Callaway.

The owner of the restaurant was always super friendly and welcoming to us as well-- it was a great experience all around. We had a Saturday brunch wedding. The location was beautiful, the food was wonderful, and the staff went above and beyond. Only two mishaps. The food ran out before everyone had been fed but they made more food so eventually everyone got fed. I had purchased many bottles of juice to be placed with champagne for a mimosa bar during the cocktail hour. The juice never made it out which bummed me out pretty bad when I found out later. But overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a beautiful vineyard wedding. Lindsay was new to the role of coordinator at this location but did a very good job of getting up to speed and making sure we got all that we needed.

Callaway and their staff were so helpful and awesome in creating our perfect wedding. Denise is the most AMAZING coordinator and goes above and beyond to help in any way she can. We had goldfish in our centerpieces and not only did she keep them overnight, but even went out to buy them food the next day so they wouldn't die. She makes sure everything is perfect and how you want it and helps you to feel reassured that everything will go smoothly. Her sister, Dina is also very sweet and so helpful in planning everything out so it goes according to plan. The food at Callaway is FANTASTIC and the entire experience is so worth the money!

Everyone involved in our wedding planning was very professional. If we had any negatives to mention it would be the lack of control of the wedding party after the ceremony. By the time we realized it was time for pictures everyone had been shuffled into the chardonay room for cocktails. All in all i would recommmend Callaway for anyone who wants a venue in beautiful Temecula.

The vineyard sits on top of the hill so you have beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards. The winery and areas for the wedding and reception are very pretty and ideal for a wedding. I would recommend this location for any bride, but I would give one piece of advice. Hire a day of wedding coordinator. The woman we worked with at Callaway was not very professional and did not seem to know her business very well. Her boss was very attentive, but unfortunately that is not who we dealt with 99% of the time. In fact the day of the wedding, the coordinator I hired was making sure the day was perfect while the women who worked for Callaway were bartending and serving; not directing their staff. Overall the place was beautfil and reasonable priced, but I would have been a basket case worrying about all of the small details if my coordinator was not there. The chef also did not get our requests right. We asked for different side dishes and that did not occur.

I had an incredible experience with Callaway, starting from the very beginning of the wedding planning process! \r\rFor me, one of my first major things was having good communication with all my wedding vendors because we live up in Sacramento, 500 miles away from Temecula. The event coordinators that I worked with at Callaway, Jeanne and Krista, went above and beyond!! They were SO organized along every step of the way, answered every question I had right away (no matter how ridiculous of a question it might be), and all the way through, as stressed as I might have felt, kept me comforted and calm, letting me know that they had everything taken care of, which they did. And beyond that, they are such awesome people! When we went for our wine and food tasting, we had the best time with them! :)\r\rThey of course had many other events going on at Callaway, but the entire time from our booking to the wedding, Jeanne and Krista always made me feel like their main priority, like I was their only bride (though definitely not!) :)\r\rWe had our wedding ceremony out on the grass, overlooking the vineyards. It was gorgeous! I had been a little worried about being out on the grass with heels, which I and all my bridesmaids wore, but it was totally fine during the ceremony. We sank in a little more while we were taking pictures on the grass after the ceremony since we were there for a while, but it was completely worth having that setting...just beautiful. Plus, at that point you're so beyond happy that nothing that insignificant matters. :) We had our reception in the barrel room, which was low-lit with these great chandeliers, and tealights lining the barrels. Gorgeous and such a great atmosphere!! Fantastic food and wine too! (My parents joined the wine club because they got a percentage off the wedding total cost, but they are pretty picky about their wine, and LOVE Callaway wines!) \r\rOur guests raved about everything from the setting to the food to the people at Callaway...I could go on and on about our fantastic experience. I would do it over and over again if I could! I hadn't thought that a winery wedding would have been able to fit in our budget (all the other ones we looked at in Temecula were over $100 a plate) , but it was, and it was PERFECT. We love you Callaway!!
