Cameron Estate Inn is a charming full-service wedding venue that rests on 15 private acres in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. 10 out of 10 would recommend this venue. They took the stress out of wedding planning and Cathi Tokle Director of Event Planning helped me throughout the wedding planning process by answering all my questions timely within 24 hours or less. I also had a Wedding Coordinator day of named Chloe, who made sure I had all the little details taken care of, and helped with the flow of the timeline of wedding events during the day. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that has all inclusive options, affordable pricing, and all in one location for stay (reception, ceremony, and overnight stay bed&breakfast) you have found your place! I felt like I was living a fairytale the day of and all my wedding dreams came true, and everything went exactly as planned. This estate is so charming and I did not need a ton of decorations due to the historic charm of the estate being as glamorous as it was. The staff make sure the grounds and rooms were very clean. The food was amazing ! Fine dining options with affordable pricing packages! Can’t wait to celebrate anniversaries here in the future ❤️

I cannot say enough great things about CEI! I am so so SO thankful for Cathi, Dana & the entire team at the venue who made the entire wedding planning and day-of process so smooth and enjoyable. Cathi is very responsive to any needs leading up to the big day, Dana is an incredible day-of coordinator, and the venue takes care of all of your needs - lodging, coordination, food, beverages, etc.! Our wedding was in December and it was so magical. I highly recommend this venue. Thank you so much CEI for such a beautiful wedding day!

This was the perfect venue for our big day. The buildings and grounds are beautiful! I can’t say ENOUGH about our day of coordinator, Dana. She was an absolute rockstar and rocked her job. She paid such great attention to us throughout the whole day. Every staff member we encountered was a pure delight. They really are there for their couples. The provide the best! All of our guests can’t stop talking about how wonderful the food was and how beautiful the venue was. My only negative would be the bridal party changing space. It could stand a little upgrading and a deep clean. The salon chairs were perfect for hair and make up. The bathtub is wonderful but the shower points right at the toilet leaving the whole space soaking wet. They do provide soaps which was great! The bagel tray (12) I had ordered for my ladies didn’t really seem worth the $110 dollars it cost but they were fantastic bagels.

What a wedding. To say this will be an event our friends and family gush about for years will be an understatement. Everything was spot on. The food. The Conservatory. The Carriage House. Even the Spring ballroom for our rehearsal the night before. The team was awesome and treated us like we were royalty. We secured Cameron Estate after narrowing down our list from 20 to 7. We then toured 5. The second I walked around the grounds with Lisa, I knew. My husband was not with us so I brought him back to make sure without telling him this was the one. He felt the exact same way. The grounds, the conservatory, the carriage house, everything felt right. We secured Cameron over a year out and Cathi and team were very responsive and receptive to my ideas from day 1. We had 111 people for our day and had plenty of space to stretch out on the dance floor with 13 tables. There was so much room we could have had more tables and not felt squished. The food was amazing, just as good the day of as it was when we had our tasting. We opted for the 4 courses and purchased a dessert display to go with it and it was so good. Everyone said the portions were perfect and no one left hungry. If we had to do it all over again we would pick Cameron again. It truly was a fairy tale wedding.

I cannot say enough great things about Cameron Estate. First of all, the venue is STUNNING. I fell in love with it the second we walked through the door. The planning process was seamless- Cathi is amazing and on top of everything! The day of the wedding went so smooth and was so organized. Our day of coordinator Becca was amazing and went above and beyond for us. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing everything was and how great ALL the food was- really the best wedding food anyone has had. Overall it was an amazing day put on by amazing people. You won’t find a more beautiful and peaceful place for your wedding than Cameron Estate Inn.

My now husband and I knew immediately that Cameron Estate was the venue for us. Not only is it stunning, but it includes so many things, and when I price compared to other places it wound up being a better value too when you add up all that is included! The planning, organization, and staff made everything run smoothly. Any small mishap was quickly fixed. I was significantly less stressed knowing that everything was being taken care of by the staff. My husbands main priority was good food and boy did they deliver. Several guests told us it was by far the best wedding food they have ever experienced. We also were able to stay the night which made things nice and easy come evening. Although there was another wedding in the other larger reception space, we barely crossed paths and it didn’t affect our day in any way.

Cameron Inn Estate truly made my wedding dreams come true. We began booking with them almost two years in advance and they were nothing but attentive, helpful, kind and amazing during the entire process! Ashley was our day of coordinator and she blew us out of the park by how well she handled everything, managed the day and was the glue to each and every part. We worked with Cathi prior to the day. Cathi was so wonderful, kept us on our timeline leading up, always offering her help and made sure all was seamless. The venue- absolutely beautiful. There were two wedding there on this day and we never had any issue of seeing the other party, parking or confusion. If we weren’t told of the other wedding, I wouldn’t have known! Food- every single guest raved about the food. Most expected typical banquet food and all were delightfully surprised by how upscale the entrees were and the seamless execution of serving. I couldn’t have been happier. Staff- the staff was attentive, made me feel truly special on the day and I never heard “we can’t do that” they made every single request work and were beyond helpful. Lodging- we spent the weekend here. The breakfast was amazing, always on time and relaxing. We had a different room for the wedding night and Cathi got us all situated prior to us starting the day in the room. It was a beautiful stay. I could go on and on about every little detail of the wedding and everything Cameron inn did for us. But, if you are considering this venue, take this as your sign to commit to this venue! It was a lot less stressful being that all large items of the wedding were grouped into the package so you’re not working with different vendors for linens, tables, bartenders, etc. it was all handled by Cameron inn. I expected the morning of the wedding to be hectic with last minute touches and a boat load of things to do- because of Ashley, the morning of was so relaxing, everyone was ready early and it just peaceful.

Better late than never, however, I didn't want to rush and give a generic review. My daughter's wedding at Cameron Estates couldn't have been more perfect! Cathi was absolutely wonderful to work with. With a month left to go before the wedding, Cathi and I were in frequent communication and she was always very responsive to my phone calls. When we had our \"tasting\" my daughter and I thought the food was a tad too salty. I mentioned this to Cathi and she noted it and made sure it was on our planning paper. The last 2 weeks were crunch time and several changes were made and I never felt like she was frustrated with me and she accommodated every change. Since my daughter had a Friday wedding, and there were no weddings on Thursday, we were able to get in early to decorate which was a huge plus. The day of.... couldn't have gone off any better. I had made most of the desserts and was worried how I was going to display them all. Cathi and Katrina saw to it that her staff arranged the dessert table and kept it replenished throughout the night! We all know that the food and the DJ make or break a wedding. Well let me tell you... it started with the hor d'oeuvres which were delicious. The (hot) soup and salad were fantastic! I was nervous about having filet but people are still commenting on how excellent the meal was at the wedding. The steak was cooked perfectly, the chicken was as moist as can be and everything was hot!!!! The portions were also good sized, not skimpy. Now the wait staff.... I cannot thank them enough for the amazing job they did. Katrina (the banquet manager) was on top of everything from the get-go. She was such a big help and was present the entire night in case we needed something. Our waitress was so engaged and attentive and looked like she was genuinely having a good time. Of course when you have a group of 20-30 years olds there are bound to be some spills and drops. Not once did they complain and immediately got it cleaned up. I kept apologizing and they said it happens, never once making me feel bad about it. The end of the night.... I was exhausted and since we supplied all the centerpieces, decorations and desserts there was a lot to clean up. Every single waitstaff and Katrina were there to help. I think it took us less than 45 minutes to have everything packed up in cars. My daughter's wedding couldn't have been more perfect (oh I already said that at the beginning). Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who was involved!I neglected to mention the venue: it you have never been to Cameron Estates, you need to go see it. It is gorgeous! They have a beautiful conservatory if you want to be married inside, and a beautiful setting for outside weddings. They have 2 areas for receptions (one big and one smaller) and both are beautiful. The rod iron gate leading to the mansion is sure to catch your eye on the drive in the lane.I would have 2 small suggestions, one from my daughter and one from me: she was a little nervous about the hor d'oeuvres as you don't get to sample those at your tasting. It would have been nice to sample a few. And, I was a little disappointed that the Inn doesn't offer any kind of discount on their rooms the night of the wedding. We would have taken at least 7 or 8 (and they weren't reserved according to the website). But that sure wouldn't stop me from recommending anyone to have their wedding at Cameron Estate Inn.

CEI was the perfect venue for our wedding from start to finish! Cathi, the wedding coordinator was absolutely wonderful to work with . She was attentive to our needs and wishes, she listened closely and helped with every detail along the planning route. Kat was awesome as our Day of Coordinator. She, too listened to what we needed from her that day and everything went PERFECTLY! Melissa, the Banquet Manager, was also awesome to work with! She and her serving staff even came on te dance floor and did a little \"Cupid Shuffle\" with us! Awesome people at an awesome venue! We couldn't have asked for anything better! It was a PERFECT day!!

Fantastic! We got married the end of October and it was absolutely beautiful. CEI was great throughout the process but here are some highlights:-The food was absolutely amazing - so many compliments from all of our guests. - We had the whole place to ourselves for the weekend which our guests loved because they couple explore the grounds without worrying about interrupting another wedding. - We could book the Inn rooms for our guests so they could just walk over to their rooms if needed throughout the night. - We were able to have an after party on site in one of the other reception areas (with a bar tender and food). - Although they/the other local hotel didn’t have a shuttle service as a venue, we were able to hire a shuttle that ran throughout the night to the other hotel we had booked for guests. - The grounds were gorgeous!! The perfect fall landscape (although it looks perfect in any season, fall is spectacular). - We could use the bride and groom suites throughout the day which was perfect for regrouping. - Everyone who stayed at the Inn could go to breakfast the next morning which was perfect to share stories over breakfast and catch up with guests you may not have been able to spend time talking to the night before. All in all- beautiful, fun, and a wonderful place to celebrate with friends and family.

This venue was stunning, and as soon my my husband and I saw it we knew we had to get married here. We booked the venue two years before we actually planned to get married, but the staff were very responsive to questions and made sure to reach out when we needed to start the planning process. We loved that all our guests could stay at the venue the night of the wedding so everyone could really enjoy the entire night. Our guests also raved about how great the food was. I loved how the venue was a one stop shop. They provided food, alcohol, and lodging for the wedding. Which helped to cut down on the number of vendors I had to deal with. Cameron Estates gave me a wedding day I will never forget and I could not have imagined having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff and coordinators who helped us make our wedding dreams come true!

BEAUTIFUL venue and the FOOD! Couldn't be happier with CEI! They truly provided everything my husband and I wanted to have the perfect wedding. Our guests are still RAVING about the views, the food, the...well, everything!They are very responsive and responsible and easy to chat with. They pay attention to the small details that made it easy for us to sit back and relax and enjoy our day. Ashley, our day-of wedding planner, was wonderful and very patient with my excited family. She runs a tight ship! Cathi, the event manager, has been a dream to work with; from last-minute guests, to helping get a special band to play our wedding. If you are lucky enough to get a date here (they go quick!), then prepare yourself for a perfect wedding. We wouldn't have had ours any other way!

Beautiful venue inside and out, amazing staff, a fairytale wedding!!We had an amazing experience at Cameron Estate Inn. We loved that there are multiple picturesque spots around the grounds including a stone bridge, corn fields, tree groves, creek, gazebo, and ivy-covered wrought iron front gate. And it’s a bed and breakfast, so we could eat, sleep, and get married in the same place. AND the interior decor of the inn is very antique-our room had a claw-foot tub and carved armoire straight out of a Disney movie! The reception space we used was the spring view ballroom, gorgeous chandeliers and a ton of windows. There is a lovely outdoor ceremony area AND a beautiful, separate, fully prepared indoor space-the best rainy-day backup plan of any venue we visited. There were also getting-ready suites available for the bride and groom which we could access as early as we wanted in the morning. They only host one wedding per day in your reception space (up to 2 total per day because 2 spaces), so we could also decorate as early the day of as we wanted-though our amazing day-of-coordinator took care of placing our decorations in the hall. Throughout the planning process, the staff were very promptly responsive to all of our questions. The day of, we had a day of coordinator Haley who did a fantastic job helping with our decorations and checking in with us as the event progressed. Everything went very smoothly and we had an absolutely fairytale wedding. 100/10!

We were married at the Cameron Estate Inn on August 6th, 2022. This venue is gorgeous! We chose it for a few reasons; the beautiful grounds (50 acres of stunning land, which are picture perfect), the historic inn, and the price! It is very reasonable compared to other venues near us, especially for all that you get with the different packages. It was a 4 course meal, even had sorbet included! Also, the food was above average for a wedding venue. Especially enjoyed the center cut filet and adult mac n cheese bar! Our wedding day was beautiful. The banquet staff and day of coordinators did a wonderful job setting up. Communication throughout the planning process was great. Yani at the front desk was sooo beyond helpful with whatever I needed, and even helped me on the day of before I walked down the aisle. We had a lot of changes due to COVID or last minute things take place, and Yani always went above and beyond to help. Cathi was very quick to respond any questions, and Judi the owner, though we never met, was very kind to answer our questions if Cathi was unavailable. A few things to note: there can be two weddings at the venue one the same day, which there was for our wedding day. I barely noticed since the reception spaces are far from one another. One weird part was guests from the other wedding were walking around the inn after our wedding was over and we had the inn blocked. And having two weddings with the same reception space made our ceremony pretty early compared to normal. The other thing I would note is the staff at the venue changed during our planning process, so things we were told when we were sold the venue were not the same or some of the documents we initially received were outdated. I would recommend asking a lot of questions and writing things down, this made communication a lot easier with the venue after recognizing the differences from what we initially were told. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Cameron Estate Inn. The grounds, famous front gates, ceremony spaces, banquet rooms, historic inn, and location in Lancaster are all perfect! Having the ceremony, reception, and inn all on the same property was very convenient too. So many of our quests were blown away, asking how I found this hidden gem. Thank you CEI for our fairytale wedding. We hope to visit again in the future for anniversaries!

To Future Cameron Estate Inn Couples,We live just outside of downtown Mount Joy & got engaged in August of 2021. Almost immediately, we hit the ground running with wedding planning and contacting vendors. When we started our hunt for a venue, we had a list of non-negotiables: an outdoor ceremony location (with an indoor backup), beautiful gardens for photos, on-site catering, and above all a staff that we could personably connect with to make the planning process easy. We found all the above and MORE during our wedding journey with CEI. Their wedding packages that included alcohol services, cocktail hour, way too many entrees to pick from, linens, changing suites, a day of coordinator, and dessert options made the planning process simple and decisions easy to compare. However, we were never locked into a pre-built package as they allowed seamless flexibility to trade in an unwanted soup course (heck it was too warm for soup in July) for a bonus cocktail hour appetizer! The day of coordinators took away any stress as we were able to drop off all our centerpieces, decor, & boxes of decorations the night before, and they meticulously setup following our requests & guidance before we even arrived the day of our wedding. Our wedding day was spattered with passing rain showers, but the staff of CEI were extremely patient and flexible to be sure to carry out our wedding dream even if the weather would not accommodate. Friends and family alike showered us with endless compliments about the lush gardens, historic charm of the inn, and attentiveness of the staff! You only get one wedding day and partnering with CEI we were able to trust them with all the details and focus on what mattered most — making memories and sharing our love story with friends and family! AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING. This venue is absolutely beautiful and the b&b rooms are so unique. We received non stop compliments about the venue itself and the b&b rooms. The planning process was very easy. From making an appointment to see the property, to the actual wedding day itself, it was a seamless experience. Every single person involved was amazing and very prompt in answering e-mails. Shout out to Cathi who was amazing! The food is also amazingggggg. Thank you so much! The Cameron Estate Inn was the perfect place for our wedding. Cathi was extremely pleasant and helpful through the planning process, even with last minute changes due to our guest count being smaller than expected. Ashley was our day of coordinator and made sure things ran smoothly and on time. Melissa was amazing as the banquet manager! Our ceremony was in the conservatory (morning of decision due to weather) and was a breathtaking space. Reception was in the Springview Ballroom which is so elegant. Our guests commented throughout the night about how great ALL the food was. Planning a wedding is stressful, but you can be sure the Cameron Estate will work with you for a beautiful day!

I had my ceremony, reception, and catering done at this venue and it was all spectacular. My guests raved about the food and the location of the ceremony (spring garden) and the set up of the reception hall (the carriage house) were breathtaking. My day-of Coordinator, Chloe, was phenomenal at making sure things ran smoothly and the room my husband and I stayed in was clean, spacious, and perfect to come back to after the event. My wife & I loved the place as soon as we saw it. We just knew we were supposed to get married here. The Conservatory(Ceremony location) is so naturally beautiful & so well lit that it didn't require any sort of additional decoration. The same can be said about where we had our reception, at the Carriage House. It was very important to us to have a place that provided both Indian & American cuisine. Cameron Estates was not only able to accommodate our request but the food was absolutely outstanding. All of our guests raved about the food and no one was left hungry! They were even able to accommodate a special request to save some food saved for a guest that needed to fast for religious reasons. Lisa was the first person to show us around the venue, and she was fantastic. She was really knowledgeable about the venue and took the time to answer all of our questions. Once we booked the venue, Cathi was in charge of helping us make our dream day come true. She took the time to help us plan our wedding from start to finish. She answered any questions we had; no matter how many times we called her! Our day of coordinators (Rebecca and Ashley) were amazing! They helped us set up the decorations and made sure we were taken care of the day of the wedding. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Cameron Estates was. Our day was perfect and we would not have changed a thing!

Cameron Estate was the most beautiful venue. We got married on NYE so we had a wintery vibe, but the location is so beautiful for a wedding any time of the year. The staff was extremely helpful the day of the event and the months leading up to it. We also found the pricing to be very fair, given how expensive weddings can be. Some benefits: if you're planning to get married outside, they can make a game time decision within two hours of your ceremony to switch indoors if necessary, and since it is an inn, they have just under 30 rooms for your closers guests to be able to stay on site. We truly loved working with them and would very much recommend them to anyone looking to get married, no matter how big/small the party size is.

Cameron Estate Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding, and everyone we worked with there was incredibly kind and helpful. Even in winter the grounds were beautiful but the conservatory is where it really shines. The food and service were both excellent, and Cathi, our wedding planner, was always available to help or answer questions. Our day-of coordinator, Kathleen, was also terrific and made the day run perfectly. They thought of just about everything and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We recently got married at Cameron Estates Inn . It was truly a magical day. We were a Covid couple so this past 2 years were hard. We had to push the wedding back and change things constantly. We got married in The Conservatory and had our reception in The Springview Ballroom. The food was beyond amazing. Our guests thought the wedding was beyond beautiful and raved about the good food. These ladies at Cameron really pushed through and helped us, plan our day and made it the best day. We are so thankful for them. My husband and I got married here on 12/5/2021. We had a wonderful experience from the start, working with the staff to make sure everything was just how we wanted it. Cathi really went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, very well maintained, and there are a lot of wonderful people that work there that made sure we had an amazing experience. We had our ceremony in the Conservatory and our cocktail hour/reception in the Springview Ballroom. The day of was seamless. The staff worked well together and went above and beyond to ensure that our family was taken care of from sewing my husband’s pants to making sure the bridal party had a snack and even entertaining our toddler. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the hard work that went into making sure we were happy. We are very happy with how everything turned out. Thank you to everyone for helping us have the wedding we always dreamed of. A special thank you to our day of coordinator, Rebecca, Melissa, and to all the banquet staff. Our wedding was truly a magical experience.

This is an absolutely beautiful venue. My husband and I both loved it. You will fall in love with it once you walk the beautiful grounds. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a few hiccups during our day, but nothing that was detrimental. Our day was beautiful and the food was delicious. The filet just melted in your mouth. The banquet manager was on top of everything and made sure to greet us at cocktail hour after we were done with with pictures. During pictures a staff member brought down champagne and hors d’oeuvres to the bridal party. What truly made us smile is that they made sure to also bring down an apple juice for my 7 year old son. I would highly recommend this venue.

My wife and I had a wonderful wedding experience at Cameron estate. They include a very detailed planning session to ensure that all your requests and visions come to life. During the planning session our coordinator was extremely flexible in meeting our needs.. They even went over those details again the week before the wedding to make sure things were perfect. Our guests had only great things to say about the day. Everything was beautiful, the grounds had just recently been landscaped. All of that plus the existing old trees made a stunning outdoor ceremony spot. My wife said the walk down to the ceremony spot was a highlight of her day. Lastly the carriage house was beautifully decorated and fit our needs perfectly. This space was also redone recently and looks fantastic. They allowed us to hold our dancing on the lower level and keep the reception on the upper. During the reception the staff was very attentive to our guests. Everyone was super polite and well dressed. The food was excellent as well and came out for quickly and orderly. Overall we would highly recommend Cameron estate for your wedding.

the Cameron Estate Inn made our day relaxed and under control yet amazingly beautiful. We only had to focus on ourselves, not the set up, not if the family would know where to go and what to do, not finding mom and grandma to give them their corsages, not the dinner decorations, not the pastor, not the musician, not the photographer, not dinner, not cleaning up the tables. We were able to live in the moment while all other details were taken care of. My family later told me it was their favorite wedding they had ever been to. They said it was perfect because it was beautiful and elegant yet relaxed. We and some of my family spent the night at the Inn helping me to not worry and people drinking and driving. My personal favorite part was all the photo opportunities. Unlimited options for gorgeous memories caught in pictures.

Cameron Estates did our wedding June26, 2021. We were more than pleased with everything. Starting with the first visit and tour with Judy our experience was great The weekend of our wedding we started with the rehearsal dinner on Fri evening. The dinner was awesome and Jordan, our head waitress was great, the service was top notch. Crystal led our rehearsal and organized everything for the wedding the next day. She was a dream to work with. On the wedding day she was on top of everything starting in the morning , stopping in the bridal suite consistently checking to see if everything was good and to see if we needed anything, brought us lunch while also visiting with the guys to be sure they were ok. As they were setting up the reception room, she took videos and sent to me to keep me assured it was set up beautifully. Then she walked us to the wedding room and guided the wedding party before and after the wedding. Everything ran without a flaw. Crystal was so sweet but kept e everything running g on time. The reception was handle wonderfully. Many guest said the service was awesome and again we had Jordan serving. Another sweet gal. Everyone at Cameron worked hard to make our wedding day so special. Crystal was with us and served all our needs through the reception. I cannot say enough good words about her. She is exceptional!!!!!’Thank you all at Cameron Estates I certainly would recommend you to anyone that is looking for a venue for a special event. June and Frank H

The decor was so beautiful that decorations were barely needed, the food tasted amazing and they did a great job accommodating our guest with special food needs. Our wedding was an absolute fairytale all thanks to Cameron and their wonderful staff!!

This venue is breathtaking. We immediately fell in love with the Estate and decided to go ahead and celebrate our marriage at CEI. However, I have to say that we are unfortunately disappointed.1) Communication with the staff became really difficult three months before the event. We had a lovely planning session with one person, and the rest of the event was handled by a different staff member. In our opinion, they did not communicate with each other and planning became hard. Some examples in support of our opinion:a. During the planning session, we were told we had 3 options for the kids meal. The other staff member in charge of paperwork was not aware of that, and only offered us 2 options.b. We have communicated several times that we would not hire a DJ, and the final day-of schedule still had a DJ listed as a vendor. c. We rectified several times that the groom and his party would arrive at 1PM and this change was only partially reflected on the final schedule.d. We have rectified the arrival time of the photographer and this was not reflected on the final schedule, which created confusion for our day-of-coordinator.2) In our opinion, our day-of-coordinator was very pushy, trying to fit our plans in their plan rather than the other way round. The only important job they had, which was to bring the bride to the ceremony and allow her to walk in at a specific time during the chosen processional song, was handled poorly, throwing out all the planning the bride and her party put in making a grand entrance. We specifically asked to have the groom wait at the ceremony location, and he was picked up (late) at the same time of the bridal party. During the event, some decisions were made based on partial information given to the couple, which resulted in things not going smoothly. 3) Despite the price of the location, the food was embarrassingly hit or miss. The hors d'oeuvre were really good, but dinner was not consistent. We ordered a Caesar salad with either hanger steak or salmon, and a vegetarian option. When we tasted the meals about six months before the event, we weren't given the option to try multiple entrees, so we ended up only tasting these two meals mentioned above and we had to pay for the taste testing. We could have tried more options, but that implied paying for another dinner in full, so we decided to go with what we tried. At the reception, most of our guests ordered the steak and it was very inconsistently cooked. Some steaks were delicious, some were bloody and rubbery. The size of the salad was very small. We didn't even know what the vegetarian option was going to be and, frankly, more of our guests would have picked that if they knew what it was going to entail.4) In our opinion, it is unacceptable to not communicate that the bar is being moved from the cocktail hour location to the reception room after the guests have been in line for so long, and it is unacceptable to not communicate when the bar is about to close.5) Dinner was served almost one hour later than scheduled. While we understand that delays happen, we feel we could have received better treatment as customers. Unfortunately, their delay resulted in one hour of entertainment being cut, as the reception was terminated as scheduled. We feel that since it was not our fault for the delay, we should have been able to stay and enjoy the two and a half hours of dance party as scheduled.All in all: beautiful but pricy location, for subpar service

Like many 2020 and 2021 brides and grooms, my now husband and I had downsized and moved venues due to Covid. We were very nervous about re-planning our wedding with a new venue and team in less than a year. Truly, it was the BEST decision we have ever made. We were sold by the options for ceremony (front lawn and conservatory), and also the option of the Spring View Ballroom or Carriage house for the reception. We loved the idea that our family and friends would walk to the ceremony space from the Inn or parking lot, and then walk a stone-throw away to cocktail hour and the reception. The all-in-one location is A++. It also helps that all the rooms are STUNNING and recently updated. Our guests were raving about the venue spaces and convenience of it all. We also need to mention the grounds, because we had no problem finding spots for photography - the creek, a little reflection pool, the conservatory, the corn fields in the back (gorgeous at sunset, by the way), the stone bridge, a little gazebo, the front gate and so, so many more. We opted to do a first look at the stone bridge, and the preliminary photos are to die for. Our photographer even made the comment this was his favorite venue to shoot, as of late. The food is also a key part of any wedding venue. The food was AMAZING, and there was plenty of it! None of us left feeling like we weren’t full. If anything, a little too full. We had the option to reserve the whole Inn for our guests. If you have the opportunity, 100% worth it. My husband and I came on site the day of rehearsal, woke up on the big day, and walked across the building or parking lot to our respective rooms to get ready. The team was always checking in to ensure we were comfortable and happy. It was a game changer to be able to walk everywhere, and have a walk up the stairs to our rooms after the evening. Cathy, was on-site is an absolute doll. She helped us with last-minute room questions and requests. She also makes a killer breakfast.Crystal, our day-of coordinator was amazing. She set up our decor, and actually sent us videos of what it looked like and asked us if anything needed to be moved. It was a totally stress-free experience, which every couple can appreciate. Our honest and true recommendation is to use Cameron Estate. We are so thrilled with our decision (as you can probably tell). Judy and her banquet, event, inn, kitchen staff were absolutely top notch, professional and punctual. They were all too amazing. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We love you, CEI team! 2020 was a difficult year for many. We changed the date and venue of our wedding, and found the beautiful Cameron Estate Inn. What a blessing! The staff made the planning process seem so easy and pleasant! We were truly thrilled with each staff member we dealt with. Katelyn was our main contact, and we cannot say enough about how fabulous she is! Katelyn is professional, bright, VERY hardworking, and an all-around pleasant person to be around. During the planning process, Katelyn was always available to provide timely answers to my 1 million questions, and help us with all of the finishing touches. There is a wedding coordinator in our family, who RAVED about how well Katelyn dealt with our group on the big day. The food at Cameron Estate is really delicious! There are several choices (indoor/outdoor) for ceremony, and all are truly beautiful. If we were to do this all again, I would absolutely choose Cameron Estate Inn as our wedding venue. The whole day was perfect, and we owe a large portion of that to Katelyn and her colleagues.

We had estimated and paid for 125 guests, which dwindled all the way down to 60 by the time the day rolled around. They still made everything absolutely beautiful! The venue is beautiful, and the staff is SO GOOD at what they do! I couldn't recommend them enough!

We toured Cameron Estates in October 2020 because my son and his fiancée were planning a wedding for 2021. The tour was given by the owner, Judy Grillo. She did a fantastic job of providing details and the history of Cameron Estates and Inn. Judy also provided many suggestions and possibilities for the day of the Wedding. She explained the various options and choices that were available to us. She was very delightful and full of excitement about Cameron Estates. She explained the upcoming renovations and changes that were going to make this venue even more spectacular. Judy was very easy to work with and we made the choice to book the venue for August 2021. I have spoken to Judy several times since the tour to get an update on the renovations. We are excited to see the improvements which are almost completed. So far...the planning process has been very smooth and easy. The Property is absolutely gorgeous and we are anxiously awaiting the wedding in August.

Short story – The Cameron Estate Inn is a beautiful venue, and our ceremony & reception date of 3-21-21 was overall still pretty amazing, even with a few hiccups! Pros:1.\tAbsolutely beautiful venue- perfect for outdoor and indoor photos!2.\tOverall friendly staff and day-of coordinators3.\tThey did not charge us any more money to move date to March 2021 due to Covid-194.\tFood was very tasty! Apps & main meal. Bride/groom did miss most appetizers, but luckily dinner staff was able to scrounge up some extras to serve during dinner to bride & groom upon request5.\tThey did décor set up for ceremony/reception which takes a load of bride and staff did a wonderful job – it looked amazing!6.\tPeople to direct parking for guests7.\tStaff fairly quick to respond to email inquiries/questions for planning purposesCons:1.\tIt was a bit tedious to move our wedding date due to Covid-19, aka my husband had to push pretty hard on that2.\tEmails go to a big group of staff so you are not entirely sure who will respond, and was also hard to get a question answered by phone so had to email3.\tThe Inn rooms themselves are separate from the wedding venue staff/management, so we were not given full disclosure on room rates etc for inn block when being sold on this perk (which we ultimately cancelled with a penalty $375 even during Covid-19 and there are no incentives offered to book the block such as free couple stay or anything either). So word to the wise, make sure to ask for all rates/policies before signing a contract!!!4.\tDJ alerted to the new sound system less than a week before wedding5.\tDJ was not allowed to play music for cocktail hour through main reception space doors – luckily not many guests noticed that factNOTE-- If it were not for a two wedding day, I think some of the following snafus may have been avoided.6.\tWith two weddings on property, our wedding ceremony start time fell behind 20 minutes even though our group was ready to go7.\tThey owner was giving wedding tours on the same day of a double ceremony so lots of activity on property8.\tBride/groom not alerted to a “specialty cocktail hour food & beverage” set up in ceremony space after wedding9.\tMain wedding coordinator left before night was over10.\tNot all food prep notes were followed like (cheese and dressing on side of salad).

Our micro-wedding was absolutely perfect at Cameron Estates Inn. I first spoke with Judy at the end of July 2020 on the phone about the idea of having our micro-wedding there – she was able to quickly get me and my now husband in for a tour. We toured Cameron Estates Inn on July 31 with Judy and knew immediately this was our venue. Incredibly, Cameron had an opening for a Friday, Oct 23, 2020 micro-wedding. We worked closely with Katie and Katelyn through the whole process – emailing and phone calls. My husband and I had a lot of questions (A LOT!) and they were always quick to answer them and help us along the way. We met with Katelyn in early Oct to go through our final details and get a final tour of the property and were so impressed with the organization and care that went into our wedding details even with only 14 guests. I stayed overnight with my sister the night before our wedding and we arrived after hours, and their innkeeper met us and helped us get all our stuff loaded into our room. The wedding day was nothing short of magical. The property is gorgeous and the fall foliage was perfect that Oct weekend. The grounds of CEI are simply stunning. The food we selected for the reception was top-notch, as well as the passed appetizers and wedding cake. All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic, including the reception staff that went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Katelyn checked in with me multiple times throughout the day and accommodated all my requests. The biggest one that she helped out with was allowing us to use the ballroom to have our first dance rather than in the porch where we had our reception. She even moved the flowers from the mantel in the conservatory to the ball room so we could have them for pictures. She checked in with us throughout the reception as well. Everything was set up beautifully. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready in – even had makeup and hair chairs as well as nice mirrors. The staff were also helpful in helping us organize an afterparty for our family that stayed overnight…in fact, every single one of our guests stayed overnight and commented on what a great property it was! We loved our micro-wedding at Cameron Estates Inn!! It was more than we could have hope for!

The statement below reflects our own opinion of the wedding planning experience.Our wedding day at Cameron Estate Inn was absolutely lovely. Our day of coordinator, Katelyn, was attentive and had great attention to detail and we are so grateful for her efforts. The food was fantastic and all the staff at the Inn was wonderful especially Kathy and Yani. However, our wonderful day does not negate the planning process leading up to it. We signed our contract with a previous owner and were never informed of the transition. The new owner is the worst thing to happen to this venue. We went through three day of coordinators and two sale directors during our process since the rate of employee turnover was so high—the coordinators we had for such a brief time couldn’t answer our questions since they didn’t have a copy of our original contract and had no clue what we already paid for. Getting even minor questions answered were the biggest pain with no one answering the phones and emails being responded to longer than a week later often without an actual answer. Even with COVID no consumer should need to go through what we went through. We tried to figure out their COVID protocols and plans as early as March and were told to keep waiting and things would be fine all the way up until it was too late to postpone. When we did express a desire to postpone due to a large amount of elderly and out of state guests the owner herself told us we shouldn’t postpone just because of the elderly because “who’s to say if they’ll even still be alive at that point.” The venue is wonderful, but it’s just not worth the stress, emotional pain, and disappointment you will endure during the planning process to have your wedding here. Avoid at all costs while under the current ownership.

We had a beautiful wedding at Cameron estate inn. The spaces were very clean and they helped us make sure we were following the state guidelines for COVID-19. All of the staff was very helpful. I really appreciated how willing they were to customize our reception catering to match our brunch theme. All of our guests couldn't stop complimenting the beauty of the event spaces and how good the food was. Cameron estate in inn has lots of beautiful photo locations. We stayed the night in the inn and even were offered an upgrade. I would definitely recommend this wedding venue to anyone who wants an elegant backdrop for the best day of their life.

Cameron Estate Inn helped us host our dream wedding! We had to reschedule our original date due to COVID, but the team helped make this process as easy and stress free as possible. We were able to have our wedding a few months later with all of our friends and family in attendance. The food was amazing, the bar service was great, and the layout of the venue was perfect. The grounds for having an outdoor wedding were also beautiful! We are so happy we chose Cameron Estate Inn for our wedding venue!

Where do I even begin...Let's start back in 2019... my husband and I fell in love with CEI the minute we saw the property and met the old team of coordinators. Gorgeous spaces, mature trees everywhere, history behind the inn; it seemed like a dream. We were greeted with kindness and assured everything would go smoothly.Fast forward to the last 6 or so months... the entire planning team changes, including the owner. We were not notified until we reached out. In August 2020, I began to panic as my international family was unable to enter the country due to borders being closed. My husband and I agreed to move the wedding to 2021, to ensure my family could come. That sparked us to talk with the new owner, Judy. In our first call with Judy, as I begged her to let us postpone (we even offered to pay everything as if it was held on schedule). When we chose Cameron, we were drawn to the beautiful grounds, inn, and the breathtaking conservatory.The reason this review has any positives is strictly due to the staff that we worked with including Katelyn, Katie, and Kathy. These three and some of the other staff that I spoke with briefly were very kind, easily within reach, and worked with us to create the vision that we had hoped for despite Covid. On wedding weekend, they made us feel so special, helped the day to go smoothly, and decorated the venue just as we had envisioned. We are so grateful for all that they did for us, and recommend this venue strictly because of their presence.It is also worth mentioning that the food was truly phenomenal. Unfortunately, we did experience an unfortunate episode with a bartender. The bar was shut down 30 min earlier than was paid for, resulting in questioning as to why. In response, this bartender began cursing at my father, hitting the side of the tent, etc., which did ruin part of the mood for the evening. Emily was kind and did attempt to rectify the situation and Katie did assist us in refunding, however it should have never happened. Unfortunately, we did hit bumps in the road that were not a reflection of the staff members mentioned above. Navigating a pandemic was no easy task, (which we understand as healthcare workers), but there were issues that need to be brought to light.During our time, a new owner began. To put it frankly, this owner was too involved in the planning process. Every detail was a fight with her, and there was constant frustration after each phone call.After a discussion regarding CDC guidelines that the owner did not initially believe in and us wanting an outdoor tent (since we were unable to get out of the contract),the owner agreed to allow us to put a tent up at our cost.After securing all of these details, guidelines changed again out of everyone’s control, which forced the owner to put up her own tent.This “circus” tent that she chose was a joke, and while it was understood it had to be put up last minute in Aug, it was a long battle to have a proper wedding tent for our wedding taking place in 2 months. We were not being given a discount, so we did not find it unjust to ask for a proper setup for the amount of money we were paying.We offered to pay for extra lighting and heating of the tent as necessary. After finally getting that secured, the struggles did not end. The next round of issues included having to push to get tree stumps removed from inside of the tent, the location of the bar to prevent guests from constantly having to walk up/down multiple steps, and securing a small tent to allow for proper social distancing. This owner would constantly promise us that we could do things, and then later make her staff tell us that we could not. Had I not been so organized, our day could have potentially been a disaster with the constant back and forth. It was endless fighting to not have things ripped away from us that had been promised. After speaking with other couples and seeing other reviews, we take comfort in knowing that we were not the only ones dealing with this. For the sake of an honest review, Cameron Estate would find themselves in a much better position to have that owner take a back seat, and allow her amazing staff to do their jobs appropriately.We are so thankful to those staff members that assisted us in our beautiful day, but are disappointed at the amount of push back from the owner.

Our experience with Cameron has been a rollercoaster to say the least. The grounds and event spaces are gorgeous and when we booked in March 2019 we loved working with Marissa. She was responsive and always thoroughly explained things. She ended up leaving and our experience changed. Our original date was set for April 2020 and we had a planning session with Victoria and Joy and it was horrendous. They were rude to us and our day of coordinator and consistently pushed us into decisions that made things easier for them instead of what we wanted. They made a really big deal when we asked if a “picky eater” adult guests could order the children’s meal even though we told them that we would pay the price for an adult and would be sure to let them know the guests age (for alcohol package). My now husband left the planning session as upset as I was and he is probably the most easy going person I have ever met. He was so done with Cameron and we instantly began dreading our wedding day. From that point on I would cry every time we had to talk to them because it was unnecessarily stressful. We even put serious thought into losing whatever money it costs to be done with the venue so we could find a new one that would respect us as customers. We ended up having to postpone due to COVID and that was another issue. We tried to reschedule for 2021, but were told that it had to be in 2020. We booked and paid for a Saturday, but only had a handful of saturdays left to choose from. They told me it had to be one of those or a different day of the week, then said they had a lot of Thursday’s available. We live in Virginia so a weekday wedding was not going to work for us or our guests. We ultimately chose a Saturday in October that worked for most of our vendors.As our date approached I was dreading getting in contact with Cameron again because of the experience we had been having with Victoria and Joy. To my surprise they were no longer at Cameron and a new team was on board for our day. We spoke with the owner, Judy, who was able to answer some of our questions- she even took time out of her vacation to speak with us. We then began working with Katie and Rachel and things turned around again.They were understanding and willing to listen to our concerns, questions and what we wanted. They made it easy to have a virtual planning session and kept me up to date on the constantly changing restrictions due to COVID. We are thankful that we had the opportunity to work with Katie and Rachel to make our wedding everything we dreamed of. They made sure to add special details to help make it extra special.

We chose the venue back in December 2018 for our June 2020 wedding. We decided to reschedule for September. We had a difficult time rescheduling. The venue wanted us to pay in full before we were able to reschedule even though our final two payments were months away at the time. We were told we signed the contract but then a manager was able to create new rules or policies whenever she felt. There was so much turnover through the quarantine and many things we decided or sent were misplaced. We were very upset with how these things turned out. As we got closer to our final planning meetings a new team was hired. That is when we started to work with Ktie Luckenbaugh. She hands down saved our wedding day and made everything okay. She worked extremely hard to try and make things right for us. The reason there are 4 stars is because Katie brought things back for us. Without Katie I'm afraid this review would not be 4 stars. I could not give 5 stars because of what happened before Katie started working with us. The venue itself is immaculate and fit our vision for what we wanted perfectly! Our day was beautiful and amazing. Katie was so helpful and amazing to work with. She was not our day of coordinator but was there on our day and worked with us all day to help where ever she could. Once Katie started working with us things started trending in a more positive direction. If Katie would have been there the entire time I am sure this would be a 5 star review. I am happy that by our wedding things were turned around. Thank you to Katie for making everything work and so wonderful for us! If you are looking to have your wedding here, the property is immaculate. Make sure you get to work with Katie at some point, she will make sure your vision of your wedding day comes true.

The Cameron Estate Inn is the perfect venue for a wedding of any size. We chose this place after looking at many—hoping to combine historic charm with a large gathering space. Unlike most offerings, the Cameron Estate Inn delivers!!! They were able to accommodate a large group (200) in their beautiful ballroom located on the grounds of a historic mansion. Adding to the appeal was the option to rent the entire manor, providing accommodations for the large bridal party and immediate family. (Other guests were easily accommodated at a local hotel.) The charming restaurant, serving delicious food, was the perfect setting for a small-ish (40 person) rehearsal dinner. A larger gathering area was also available. Unlike most other venues that we considered, the Cameron Estate Inn combined ease and flexibility. Their extensive menu offerings met all of our catering needs, while we were free to use our own bakery, florist, photographer, etc. The setting of the Inn is iconic –absolutely beautiful and serene. The staff is experienced and wonderful to work with. This is the place to have your dream day become a reality.

We knew instantly upon our first visit to Cameron Estates that this was where we wanted to say “I Do.” From the exquisitely carved marble fireplaces and sparkling chandeliers of the wedding ceremony location to the weathered brick floors and strong white wood trim mouldings that wrap the large sunlit windows of the sun porch dinner location, Cameron Estates offered the traditional elegance we desired. Also, the mature, manicured grounds offered several alternatives for amazing wedding photos. We are grateful we were able to celebrate our sacred day at Cameron Estates during the 2020 COVID global pandemic. A wedding during COVID was no easy feat, but Judy and her team at historic Cameron Estates made sure our wedding day was filled with memories that will live forever in our hearts.

The venue itself was gorgeous and the day of the wedding went pretty well overall...but leading up to it was a complete disaster. The special events team was terrible at communicating. There were 5 people sharing the same email address and you never knew who you were talking to, and the employees didn't seem to share what info they received from us whenever we emailed. It would take days to get an email reply. When we had meetings/phone calls to make decisions for things like the menu, table settings etc, not everything was written down in our file. If I was not an organized person who kept track of everything and had notes and documents printed, etc I think we would have been missing more items from our wedding. The venue markets itself as an all-inclusive, stress free experience where brides can be more hands-off, but I think I had to be more involved in the planning and follow up than I would have if I had done a DIY venue. Therefore, appetizers that were requested months before the wedding didn't get served on our wedding day, silver chargers didn't get put on the tables, etc. There was so much disorganization that things that we paid for were not put out on our wedding day. We paid for and didn't receive a s'mores bar, podium for our ceremony, flavored waters, and we got the incorrect pasta which was completely different from the one we picked out. Also to warn you, try to guess the best you can ahead of time for the actual guest count for your wedding day. In August 2019, we paid for 80 guests in our contract and with the pandemic, we had 50 actually show up. The venue does not give you money back for a lower guest count. You have to spend the money on other food and drink to meet a catering minimum. Therefore, we had to spend about $2000 on random over the top things that we didn't even want, like a s'mores bar or flavored waters. This made it extremely frustrating when we didn't receive these items on our wedding day that the venue essentially forced us to buy. Another thing that was terrible was that due to the pandemic there was obviously restrictions placed on events beyond anyone's control. But basically we were forced to have our wedding and were not allowed to postpone because \"the state is allowing modified weddings so if the venue can legally have the wedding they would.\" Technically the venue could not hold my wedding if the 80 person guest count in the contract, unless it was outside, which I did not pay thousands of dollars to have my wedding in a tent instead of a gorgeous ballroom and indoor ceremony space. The venue pushed us to have our wedding and luckily with the guest count being dramatically lower as the wedding approached, we were able to have it inside. The customer service was so bad that it took almost 3 weeks to even get a refund for those items that we paid for and didn't get at the wedding. They originally wanted to give us an estimated refund amount that they felt \"comfortable\" giving...so my husband and I went back through all our paperwork and did the actual calculations of how much they actually owed us, and the venue eventually agreed to that after some back and forth. I have heard other brides say that they had to hire a separate coordinator for planning their wedding there because this place was so disorganized. I would agree with that...if I wasn't hyper organized & attentive to detail, we would have been completely screwed on our wedding day, we would not have noticed all of their mistakes.

But CEI changed with us and met every need we had!! They were thoughtful, kind and beyond helpful during this time and worked with us to ensure everything went off perfectly. The venue is exquisite and all any bride could ask for.

Marissa, Victoria and the team at Cameron Estate Inn literally saved our wedding. There are no words that I can say to truly thank them enough for the role they played in our experience and for making our dreams come true. We were booked at a different venue for over a year and had an absolute nightmare experience. 50 days before our wedding we determined that venue was no longer a viable option and we had to change venues. I was panicked and called CEI on the recommendation of my photographer and was connected with Marissa. I will remember that call for the rest of my life. I explained my situation and before saying anything else she said “Okay, well first off, I want you to breathe. We have your date available and everything is going to be just fine. We’ve got you.” I can still remember the weight that was lifted off my shoulders in that moment because of her. She assured me that even though we were 50 days out, it was plenty of time to re-plan the wedding of our dreams. Sure enough, within 3-4 weeks we had toured, fell absolutely in love with the estate, booked, had our planning meeting, tasting, sent out venue change cards and were on our way as if we were never booked elsewhere. Every time we were at CEI we were greeted by Marissa with a smile and giant hugs as if we were life-long friends. We only got to enjoy being a Cameron Couple for 50 blissful days, but even still, they felt like family and gave me the planning experience I had always imagined. Marissa was there the entire day making sure everything was on track and perfect while also making sure I didn’t have a single need that wasn’t met. I am an event planner and former wedding planner, so I am naturally always thinking 12 steps ahead and have a list in the back of my mind of things that could go wrong and how to fix them if they do. But on our wedding day I was totally relaxed. I honestly knew that they had things handled and everything was going to be perfect. The true, honest and genuine support and guidance you receive from Marissa and Victoria from the first email to the last second of your wedding I do not believe can be matched by any other team at any other venue. Their entire team, from Marissa and Victoria to their culinary team to set up/breakdown are five star. Combine this with the truly breathtaking and magical grounds and venue spaces, sets any couple up to have the most memorable and amazing day of their lives. We will recommend CEI to anyone we meet for the rest of our lives. Marissa and Victoria, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you SO much for treating us like family and giving us a more perfect day than we could have ever imagined.

CEI was probably the best thing I did for my wedding. Victoria, Marissa, and Elle are just amazing. I highly suggest going on a tour and meeting the ladies. They help you step by step, answer emails fast, and keep you on track throughout the process. These girls will go above and beyond to help your day go as smooth as possible. Keep an open mind, communicate with them, and they will make sure everything will go as planned. The ladies helped me with so much. They moved my one flower arrangement from the fireplace to the reception hall. Another small but VERY helpful thing was the wedding party gifts. I didn't want to drive myself to my wedding, and I didn't want my girls to see their gifts prior. The night of the rehearsal, I asked Elle for some help in setting them up in the rooms. She had it all ready to go in the suit when we walked in! The other thing was that even though I did not stay at the inn the night before, Victoria allowed the girls and I to have the suit earlier than stated in the contract. Marissa helped keep my dress off the ground when walking to the Conservatory for the ceremony. They straightened my train out and gave me a pep talk before I walked down the aisle, which was the most helpful and calming part of my entire day. Ladies, thank you a million times over for making my day the most beautiful day ever. (rain and all!)

I got married in September of 2019 at Cameron Estate and I can’t even begin to put into words how I feel about this place. I toured 10 wedding venues total and Cameron was my first one. From the second I stepped foot onto the property I was amazed. They had everything I wanted for my wedding day. I loved all the different venue areas on the estate so my guests didn’t feel like everything was just in one room: our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and the after party were all in different rooms. We really got to use the whole venue throughout the day and night. Victoria was amazing from the first meeting to the last. Marissa and Elle were so amazing as well and helpful with all my constant messages and phone calls. They were all there for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. I honestly can’t tell you how much I appreciated everything those ladies did for me! There were two main things that stuck out for me that made my choice a lot easier when picking my wedding venue and it was the fact that it was an all inclusive venue which made everything so much easier and also the fact that they had onsite accommodations for us the night of the wedding. I would 100% recommend this wedding venue. And I can only hope to one day be invited to attend a wedding there❤️

I would recommend Cameron Estates to couples looking for a venue for multiple reasons. First and foremost, the staff is phenomenal! We toured the grounds with Victoria who was newer to the team at the time but I wouldn’t have known unless she told us! Shortly after putting our deposit down, Marissa was hired as Victoria’s assistant and let me tell you, these two make a fantastic team! They genuinely care about their couples and do everything they can to make the wedding planning process as stress free as possible. As if it couldn’t get any better, Elle became a part of the team about a month before our wedding. and was our day-of coordinator. She is truly amazing and made my day run so smoothly, everyone who met her that day absolutely loved her!!!! I cannot day enough positive things about those three (the rest of the staff is also great, but I spent most of my time working with them!) If you need any other reasons to book Cameron as your venue, the its dog friendly so our fur baby could be a part of our day and it honestly wouldn’t have been the same without him. Our guests raved about the food and everyone who stayed over night enjoyed their rooms and breakfast the next morning.

A staff member carried an umbrella in both hands and kept us both from getting soaked. I cared more about my pregnant wife obviously but I appreciated not being drenched during the reception.

My sister and I attended a wedding here in September. To be honest, we had never heard of Cameron Estate Inn. We were aware of the many venues in this area & had figured it would be a rustic barn setting. The venue itself is really beautiful - you would have no idea that this great place exists among the trees. Favorite part - the floors in the reception space! Oh and the chandeliers - stunning.

Victoria, Marissa, and Elle were so attentive and helpful, supporting us through every step of the wedding planning process and making sure that we didn't have to lift a finger on our big day. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS, the food and drinks are delicious, and the whole staff is great. My husband and I also stayed the night at the inn over our wedding weekend, and our room was very comfortable and cute. We highly recommend Cameron Estate Inn!

We had a great experience! Everyone was so sweet and helpful. The coordinators are wonderful, they were patient, understanding and really wanted to make sure I was happy and the day was perfect. They made the process of planning a wedding so easy and enjoyable. Any question I had was answered right away. The day of the wedding was coordinated so well that I felt completely relaxed and was able to enjoy the time with my friends and family. The staff on the day of the wedding was also wonderful- you could tell they really enjoyed being there and wanted to make our experience special. My friends and family especially loved the bartender! The venue is so pretty too! There are so many different beautiful spots to take pictures. I highly recommend Cameron Estate!

I don't even know where to start... My wedding at Cameron was honestly a dream come true. From the staff to the location, it was beyond magical. I had saw someone on FB post about Cameron and once I saw that BEAUTIFUL fire place, I knew back in 2015 I wanted to get married at Cameron! Fast forward to 2019 and it all came together. I worked with Victoria and Marissa and they are the most adorable and helpful planners! Planning a wedding is stressful, BUT Victoria and Marissa had my back the whole time and checked in on me the whole time. They helped so so so much and put my anxiety at ease. The day of my wedding ran so smoothly thanks to the staff and I felt like a winter princess throughout the day! I cannot thank Cameron enough for helping to make my Winter Wonderland come to life. If you are looking for an outstanding venue and want a beautiful wedding, choose Cameron Estate Inn! Thank you Cameron!!!

I wanted to love this venue but I just like it for a few reasons:Cons: Our wedding planner changed during our time working with the venue but no one informed me. I felt they nickle and dimed us down to the penny. They try to have as many events on the property to the point of excessive and impersonal.You are not made to feel like a unique event/person at the venue or Inn.They have weird timeframes to be in the reception space that can be difficult on the wedding day.You are told “no” for a lot of requests that really are typical of a wedding venue.They do not communicate well as a facility. One person says one thing while another says differently.They have a form for everything, it’s gets exhausting!Pros: Venue is historic and beautiful.Inn staff are very nice, especially, Jess. Food is very good and they accommodate allergies or things you don’t like (may be an up charge though).Guests loved the venue and reception space.Springview ballroom is modern and chic (carriage house has weird 1980’s mirrors).Many vendors have knowledge of the space.Easy to travel to.Secondary hotel close by (SureStay).Overall, if you don’t care about the $$$ and want a romantic, historic space then it’s a lovely place. However, if your watching your budget and get annoyed with excessive rigidness then maybe this isn’t the place for you and your fiancé. I am hopeful once they get some things smoothed out it will be improved but until then no rose petals on the floor...

Very organized and friendly staff, but very strict on their guidelines. It helps that they give you papers to follow, but can get a little frustrating. My wedding day was absolutely beautiful at Cameron Estate Inn.

We chose Cameron Estate Inn for two reasons - we are both big history buffs, and there was no venue fee. Instead, clients pay for the catering services in order to use one of the two reception locations on the grounds, with a small fee to hold the wedding in the conservatory. The setting is gorgeous. We also opted to stay at the Inn (as did some of our guests) which was fantastic. The rooms are unique and lovely (said all of our guests!) and the morning breakfast in the Inn's restaurant is a nice perk. We got off to a bumpy start because of some personnel issues the Inn was (is?) having. Updated estimates were inconsistent, information was incomplete or just wrong, but most concerning was the lack of interest by our wedding coordinator with the Inn. Luckily, a personnel change corrected ALL of that, and we started working with Victoria - she could not have been more accommodating, enthusiastic, generous, kind, and professional. Paperwork and information was delivered correctly and when promised, and she even tossed in a few amenities for our previous trouble. She was an absolutely delight, and we highly recommend her. Similarly, the banquet coordinator, Ahna, who takes over once the reception begins was on-site early, visited my maid-of-honor and I in our hotel room, didn't like the lack of cool air (it was July 26) and so quickly adjusted the A/C and brought in fans as we got ready. She also made some requested changes to the set up that improved the overall flow and space of the reception. Both ladies helped me secure the train/bustle for my complicated dress so that I could dance, and both were present in the foyer of the wedding space to help. The wait and bar staff worked efficiently but never intrusively. We were very happy. My husband and I have both commented on how much MORE this place could be with a few tweeks. For example, the website is a plethora of grammar and copy/paste errors. The Spring View Ballroom (where we held our reception) is fairly new (18 months?) bit not even mentioned on the website, yet is head and shoulders more beautiful that the larger original reception space. The layout of the Inn first floor is a little weird - there is no front desk to greet visitors, and the restaurant is nearly defunct as a separate entity as near as we could tell. We were told that two parties on a weekend night was considered busy (!!) That space could be far more functional and lovely given another purpose.We'd strongly recommend Cameron Estate Inn for functions, weddings, and as a place to stay in Lancaster county (Mount Joy).

WOW!!! We had such a great time. Cameron Estate Rocks. We had our wedding on June 8th. Rented all the rooms and had the rehearsal dinner on site. All our guest enjoyed their stay and the Breakfast was great. We worked with Victoria. She was wonderful and dealt with our questions and request very respectfully. She even gave us some helpful ideas for the wedding. We came up from Philly where most wedding are $30 more a person. So the pricing was great. Cameron Estate works with many vendors but they gave us a sheet of their preferred vendors who rocked. Their preferred flower vendor was cheaper then what we found on our own. They went above and beyond with their service. Every staff member was nice and said hi. We are happy that we can go back for anniversaries.

Our wedding at Cameron Estate Inn was like a dream. We only looked at one venue site and instantly fell in love with its picturesque woods and buildings full of character. Once we viewed the conservatory, we decided on an indoor ceremony. We had 70 guests on a Friday evening and we rented out the rooms to stay over. Therefore, we were able to have an after party with tacos and margaritas and breakfast the next morning with all of our out-of-town guests. The food was incredible, so we had our rehearsal dinner there as well. It really is an all-encompassing venue. They took care of every single tiny detail with ease and the day flowed so smoothly. The only suggestion I have is a better way to taste the food- we had to eat at the restaurant and order full portions to try out the food (it was delicious and fun, but it got pricey trying different entrees). Overall, Cameron Estate Inn is worth the money and needs very little decorating. A few fresh flowers is all that was needed. We would recommend this to everyone looking for a moderately small, intimate wedding with tons of character. Our guests will remember the food and the atmosphere and we have all of the beautiful pictures to keep forever!

We had a wonderful wedding experience at the Cameron Estate. Dakota was on top of everything leading up to the wedding, and Dave was spot on the day of. He checked in on me at least 5 times before the ceremony, and brought my husband and I hors d'oeuvres during our photos at cocktail hour. The food was outstanding and the service was fast for dinner. I made a point to read my contract and knew exactly what was included in my package - if you book here, or anywhere, I suggest you do the same. We used the conservatory space for our ceremony, and it is the most beautiful space we could have found. We are so happy we chose to get married here!

We got married in December 2017 at Cameron Estate Inn, it was beautiful. Our ceremony was in the conservatory and reception in the carriage house. The food was amazing and the patience of the staff was wonderful. Leading up to the wedding, they help you organize it, patient with the millions of questions/changes. Jessica was our day-of coordinator. She did a wonderful job! The day of the wedding went smoothly. Sure, many people complain of the cost of the venue/food, but you get what you pay for - fancy food and a beautiful wedding location with help from the coordinator. Of course there are a few changes I would have made looking back. One was that we would have had more access to the location on the day of the wedding. CE is very strict with their timeline, which is good and bad. I understand why but for a perfectionist it was stressful with decorating. We were one of the lucky few that were able to get into the carriage house the day before to decorate. If that wouldn't have been the case, I wouldn't have been able to help decorate for my own wedding. To some, that doesn't matter. But for a perfectionist like myself, I had to be there to put my final touch on it. So that is something to keep in mind if you are considering CE. Secondly, it took the wait staff forever to serve each course during the meal. It took way too long, which messed up our reception activities. Make sure you tell them to be prompt with following the timeline that was agreed and signed upon. No one wants to be sitting at their table all evening. Third, make sure you know which rooms you will be in the day of the wedding. Ask to go visit prior the wedding. We were clueless as to which rooms we were to be in. Fourth, the day of coordinator only helps with general information/details on the day-of, they do not help decorate or assist with the execution of the day's events. They are very hands off, which can be good or bad. They just like to make sure the timeline is being followed. However, she checked in on us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. Overall, CE was a beautiful and perfect location for our wedding. We couldn't be happier with our choice of venue and our coordinator!

We had our wedding at Cameron Estate on 12/31/17. Our wedding day was beautiful. However, it was largely due to the vendors that we hired for our event and not the CEI staff. We hired a day of wedding coordinator because we wanted to make sure that someone would be in charge all day long. Cameron makes it seem like they have someone that does this, but they do not. Our ceremony was lovely and everyone continues to talk about the reception and how beautiful everything was at the venue. However, our day was soured when we were given a final bill two weeks after our wedding saying that we owed almost $3,000.00. We are still trying to figure out why we received this bill. Cameron is a beautiful venue but we struggled with communication with their staff throughout the whole process. Not to mention, when I discovered our day of timeline that they created was completed incorrect. I had to contact them to schedule planning meetings to make sure that we were on the same page due to all of the errors that were made on Cameron's end.

When we were looking for a wedding venue for our December 2017 wedding, we were looking for some place private and where we could have both the ceremony and reception at the same location in the wintertime. We loved the beauty and charm of Cameron Estate, so we booked it over a year before our wedding date. Throughout the entire planning process, Dakota was great to work with. However, the new ballroom was finished shortly before our wedding and we found out the week of our wedding that they were holding another wedding there overlapping ours. The new ballroom has no bathrooms, so the other wedding guests were constantly coming into the Inn (which we had entirely blocked for the night and should have had private access to) to use the bathroom. They were in our way for our scheduled pictures, which we had to delay. We also had to delay decorating the ceremony room (and could only get into it 2 hours before the wedding). Their guests even made comments to our bridal party about us being in their way. Parking was a nightmare as well as their parking lot if not large enough to accommodate two weddings. It was apparent that Cameron Estate was trying to make as much money as they could in one weekend instead of giving us the wedding experience we wanted and payed a lot of money for. It was very disappointing the day of the wedding and caused us unnecessary stress and frustration on what should have been the happiest day of our lives. It's such a shame because we had great experiences working with all the staff there, but clearly the owners are only interested in making money. If I had known they would hold two wedding in the same day once the new room was finished, I would have gotten married somewhere else, especially since privacy and intimacy were big selling points for us.

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding on 11.10.17 at the Cameron Estate Inn! We had booked our wedding date in June of 2016. Cameron Estate was the only venue we checked out and we were sold on it right away. Having both the ceremony and reception on the same property really made the day effortless. We loved that Cameron Estate offers a wedding coordinator and that the coordinator helped us with everything from the entree selection to the day of timeline. Our guests absolutely loved the food and the venue too! My husband, parents, and I would highly recommend the Cameron Estate to other couples looking for a beautiful and romantic wedding venue.

If I could give this venue a zero, I would. But since I cannot, consider the one star to represent the beautiful venue itself. If all you care about is the photos, book this venue. If you want your planning experience, the day of to run smoothly, and to receive everything you were actually promised at signing, LOOK ELSEWHERE. Never in my life have I dealt with such an impossible company. We signed with a different person, and then she was let go (BIG MISTAKE ON THEIR PART,) and had to work with another staff. We had to fight tooth and nail to receive the service we were promised, THE WEEK OF OUR WEDDING. Then, the day came and we STILL did not receive everything we should have. We were not given a chance to dispute charges before they were charged to our credit card (I understand we signed an agreement that if the balance was not paid, it was automatically taken out of the credit card we provided at booking, but they seemed to find more items to nickle and dime us with at the end of the planning.) Overall, this was a terrible experience (and continues to be as the staff continues to answer emails I send to the management, even though I have explicitly asked that she stop communicating with us.) There are so many other venues in the area that are just as charming; check out those locations before being taken advantage of by this venue.

We had the most perfect September wedding at the Cameron Estate Inn. We booked the venue in March of 2016, and we fell in love with the Inn itself and the accommodations available for our friends and family, along with the stunning grounds and scenery. The day came together better than I ever could have imagined, due in large party to Dakota's commitment to making our wedding day perfect. We initially started with another coordinator, but she left shortly after we booked the venue, and then we began working with Dakota. She is so incredibly professional and responsive, and she really cares about her customers and the experience that they have at the Cameron. She literally make all of our visions into reality, from our outdoor ceremony in the Spring Garden, to late-night tater-tots as a parting gift to our guests. We cannot say enough great things about what a pleasure Dakota is to work with. Every member of the staff at the Cameron was professional and friendly, the food was amazing (all of our guests raved about our meal and the food at the cocktail hour), the bartenders were fun, and again the grounds are so beautiful, we truly had a perfect day.We also had our rehearsal dinner in the new addition, which was completed just in time to host our event. The new space is stunning, and the rehearsal dinner was also fabulous.Can't say enough great things about the Cameron - my husband and I plan to go back for our anniversary, and plenty of our guests have also said that they can't wait to plan a weekend getaway there!

On the day of our wedding, our event manager made sure our needs were met and our timeline was followed perfectly! Any worry I had, he took care of it! From the moment my husband and I first booked our wedding date, about 2 years out, the Cameron Estate Inn was extraordinarily helpful. Dakota, the venue's wedding coordinator, is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and just generally clearly adores her job. My husband and I dealt with what felt like a uniquely frustrating situation in that we are both the oldest children in our families, are relatively young and the first of our friends to get married out of college but have a large wedding, and came from very different familial backgrounds. This all led to a lot of confusion on our parts and constantly-changing demands from our families that we had to relay to Dakota. She met these demands with nothing but grace, and her helpful nature always made us feel much better and more in control.On the day of the wedding itself, we were astounded by the lengths to which all of the other staff members went to ensure our day ran smoothly, and we could relax and enjoy it as well. The banquet manager consistently did everything in her power to ensure we were able to eat, from saving cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, to pushing back dinner until we were seated.When our wedding cake collapsed, the servers all got together to determine how best yo serve the guests in a manner that would appear presentable and keep the occurance a secret. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. We'll forever remember our wedding day as the best of our lives. Thank you!

Cameron Estate was an amazing place to have our special day! We had our ceremony in the conservatory and the pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL! It was wonderful to have everything in one place so that no one had to travel anywhere after the ceremony to go to the reception. We had a longer engagement and so a lot of staffing changes were made during that time which made communication a bit difficult because we were unaware of the changes. We also booked the Inn for the night after our wedding which was nice because all of our bridal party and family could stay there. The breakfast in the morning was a bit unorganized but the rest is good! They will work very hard to meet your needs and make sure you are getting what you want out of your wedding as long as you are diligent with communication. Dinner was served in a timely manner and the filet steak and crab cake is amazing! It is wonderful that there is no rental fee here you just pay per person for dinner and whichever alcohol package you choose! Our wedding day was wonderful!

Our wedding day was July 1, 2017. We looked at a bunch of venues in the Lancaster area but ultimately decided to go with the Cameron Estate Inn for multiple reasons. We loved the fact that they had a great outdoor and indoor space that could be used for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It made our lives so easy knowing that they would take care of all the food and alcohol services and that we wouldn't have to add that on top of everything else that goes into a wedding. Our wedding ended up having to be inside because of a thunderstorm but the indoor ceremony space is absolutely beautiful so we were not too upset. Everyone who came to our wedding kept saying how beautiful the venue was and how great everything turned out. The staff was great to work with and the food was amazing!! We also have to give a big shout out to Dakota who made our day and dreams all come true. She was so great about answering all of our questions and meeting all of our accommodations. She also met with us multiple times and allowed us to see what other couples were doing on their day, which was so helpful! The day went so smoothly and Dakota went above and beyond our expectations to make our day run flawless. We would recommend the Cameron Estate Inn to any couple looking for a fairy tale wedding .
