Modern Elegance Overlooking the Texas Hill Country
If a Texas Hill Country wedding is what you are looking for, Camp Hideaway in Fredericksburg, TX, may be just the venue for you. With scenic views of the countryside and a farmhouse-style event space, it is the perfect backdrop for any celebration. With 14 comfortable options for lodging during your stay, the Ranch House, the Sunrise House and our 12 glamping tent suites you will have access to the wonderful facilities this venue has on offer while accommodating up to 42 of your guests onsite! Each of our 12 suites will feature 400 sq/ft of living space built on a 1,000 square foot wrap around deck, with a bathroom, a/c and heat. Eight of the suites will be couples suites for two guests with a king bed; four of the suites will be family suites for four guests, with a king bed and two day beds. Situated on 25 acres of land, Camp Hideaway invites guests to enjoy nature and hiking trails, fishing in the pond, stargazing at night, or viewing local wildlife. There are also plenty of attractions nearby to explore, such as the 290 wine trail, the historical town of Luckenbach, and Enchanted Rock State Park. Camp Hideaway can host up to 200 people for weddings. The ceremony site boasts panoramic views of the surrounding area, ensuring that the pictures memorializing the moment will look stunning. Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour in the patio or the outdoor lounge and warm up by the fire feature. With three garage-style doors to bring the outside indoors, couples can get the best of both worlds in the event hall. The open-plan nature of the space provides versatility with a setup for both dining and dancing. Large windows let natural light in and ensure that the view is always available. The venue rental also includes tables and chairs, which the team will help to set up. Two get-ready rooms are on-site for your party, equipped with mirrors, private bathrooms, state-of-the-art sound systems to listen to your favorite tunes, and a complimentary bottle of champagne. There is also ample parking for guests and vendors alike.

Such a beautiful venue! My husband and I chose Camp Hideaway for our wedding day for multiple reasons. We loved the staff because they were so friendly, nice, and easy to communicate with. We loved the big white and airy venue with large ceilings, large windows everywhere, and of course the indoor outdoor feel that the garage doors brought to the venue. We also loved staying at the beautiful ranch house on the property that offered convenience to us the whole wedding weekend. Camp Hideaway was such a beautiful venue that didn’t need much decorations because it was perfect just the way that it was and nothing beats a hill country sunset. I would definitely recommend to everyone and would love to stay at the ranch house in the future!

Such a beautiful venue! My husband and I chose Camp Hideaway for our wedding day for multiple reasons. We loved the staff because they were so friendly, nice, and easy to communicate with. We loved the big white and airy venue with large ceilings, large windows everywhere, and of course the indoor outdoor feel that the garage doors brought to the venue. We also loved staying at the beautiful ranch house on the property that offered convenience to us the whole wedding weekend. Camp Hideaway was such a beautiful venue that didn’t need much decorations because it was perfect just the way that it was and nothing beats a hill country sunset. I would definitely recommend to everyone and would love to stay at the ranch house in the future!

My son and daughter in law had thier wedding here and it was everything they dreamed of! They wanted a venue that was beautiful but also had lodging. This was perfect! Camp Hideaway is a beautiful venue that offers everything - lovely site for wedding right next to a great indoor space that can be indoor/outdoor depending on the weather. Their staff was top notch and super easy to work with. We had to move the ceremony inside at the last minute due to rain, and they made it happen and then removed all the chairs quickly for the reception. One of the best parts was the new ranch house that is right next to the venue. It has 4 bedrooms and a large living/dining area. My daughter and her bridesmaids stayed there the night before the wedding and used the dining area for hair & makeup. We had all the bridesmaids, groomsmen and families hang out at the house before the wedding and it made everything easy and relaxed.

The Camp Hideaway venue and its staff were 10/10 in our books! We were married here in April 2023 with 100 friends and family in attendance, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Kelsey, Ollie, and team were super responsive and accommodating of all our requests and questions. We made multiple trips pre-wedding to view the venue and setup, and the team was always happy to help us out. The venue itself was beautiful, and its location was perfect for our guests. It's close enough to Main St. Fredericksburg that your guests can stay in town and be shuttled to the venue, and it's tucked far enough off the beaten path that you're truly experiencing the hill country views at their finest. We had some close family stay at the ranch house on the property for the weekend, and everyone loved it! We would absolutely recommend Camp Hideaway for your big day.

The venue is absolutely perfect for an elegant but still very fun indoor/outdoor weddings. The scenery is beautiful. All of my family and guests commented how beautiful the property was and that was before they even went inside! And the staff is so helpful and easy to work with. I had to plan my wedding in less than 6 months and Kelsey made this entire process so much easier for me. My family and I also stayed at the houses on site and had a wedding weekend. Everything was so perfect!

The venue is absolutely perfect for an elegant but still very fun indoor/outdoor weddings. The scenery is beautiful. All of my family and guests commented how beautiful the property was and that was before they even went inside! And the staff is so helpful and easy to work with. What an amazing experience working with Vickie and Mark at Sunset Ranch. COVID kept me from being there to assist with much of the planning for my daughter's wedding, but Vickie kept me in the loop every step of the way. The venue is gorgeous and so accommodating. Everything we wanted was graciously approved. It was an amazing day. If you do not rent the house for your stay, you are missing out. You made my daughter and her new hubby's day one they will always remember. Cannot recommend more. Wish I could give you more stars!!!

I can't say enough good things about Sunset Ranch! Due to the ice storm, my original venue wasn't able to host my wedding anymore, so I called Vicki 10 days before my wedding, and by some miracle they were available to host my wedding! She was so empathetic to my situation and did everything she could to help ensure my wedding day turned out to be flawless. Lisa the site manager is also super sweet and wonderful to work with. The kindest people to work with and they genuinely care about your day being perfect. The Ranch itself is beautiful - the clean white reception hall is the perfect blank canvas for all of your floral dreams. The ceremony site is beautiful with the water fountain, astro-turf instead of grass, and the endless view of rolling Texas Hill Country hills. There are deer on the ranch and they even ran by in the background right as my ceremony began! And i can't forget to mention the sunset.. the place is absolutely breathtaking when sunset hits (guess it's called Sunset Ranch for a reason right?!). My wedding guests also complimented me all night on how beautiful the ranch was. My husband and his guys absolutely loved the groom's suite too - it's huge! It's also extremely close to downtown fredericksburg so it was an easy commute back and forth since we were all staying at hotels there. Highly recommend having your wedding at Sunset Ranch. You will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue! If you are thinking about booking it - do not hesitate! It was beautiful, clean, spacious, and exceeded any expectations. The bridal/groom's suites were beautiful and so FUN! The photos both in the building and out were full of natural light that made everyone glow! Vicki, the owner, worked with me every step of the way to ensure that my vision came to life and that my wedding ran as smoothly as possible. Communication was superb, as we worked together to make our COVID wedding as safe as possible. I truly do not know how I could've put my special day together without Vicki & Lisa.

WOW! This venue was HEAVENLY. The views, space, and accommodations are top of the line...but our most appreciated factor was being able to work with AMAZING owners. The owners of Sunset Ranch are the most accommodating and hands on that we have ever witnessed throughout the year long journey of planning. From the first initial meeting to all of the meetings in between, the owners were amazing and made us feel like our day would be everything and more we spoke about. Even the day before, Vicki was on location ready to help, arrange, or change anything that needed to be done (we had the fear of rain). She even came in frequently on my wedding day to check in with me and see if I needed anything. A card and bottle of champagne in hand, Vicki was so sweet and made sure my day was more than I could have ever imagined. Our photos are truly amazing because of all of the details Sunset Ranch and the owners have created. The views definitely speak for this location...but the white walls, fountain, balconies, fire pit area are all just a few spaces that make this place a bride and groom's dream for photos. I also really appreciated having a groom's suite and bride's suite on location. Not enough venues factor this important detail in. Our wedding party was more than comfortable during this long day. The entire layout makes sense and truly flows for your evening. I cannot recommend this venue enough. You will not be disappointed in this partnership. One of most beautiful venues that you can find in the Hill Country with the best views! Due to COVID we made the tough decision to move our wedding to Fredericksburg from Colorado. Long story short I had to re-plan my wedding in the time frame of 3 weeks and choose all new vendors. We contacted Vicky quickly and she went out of her way to make our intimate wedding happen! Our wedding was even better than we could imagine and Vicky made sure to be super accommodating to our needs the day of our wedding.Sunset Ranch Event Center was the perfect look for the style of my wedding! The blank white space gives you so much room to let your creativity come alive.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding (ceremony and reception) at Sunset Ranch this past February. Our wedding was an absolute dream largely because of the venue. The location sits up at the top of the hill and has a beautiful view over the hill country. It’s beautiful during the day and at night, seriously. We held our ceremony outdoors on the lawn and the reception inside. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the location was. Actually, they’re still talking about it! There are many other pros to this venue such as:1. It includes the tables and chairs, which is a plus for any couple 2. Vicki, the owner, is the absolute best! She was always there to answer any questions we had3. The bridal and groom suite are awesome! My husband and the groomsmen loved everything about the groom suite. The balcony, decor, poker table, mini bar.5. The gave us the sweetest card and gift on our wedding day6. The cleanliness and open concept of the whole venueIf we had to do it again, we would choose this venue every time. It holds a special place in our hearts!!

The venue lawn (where we had our ceremony) has gorgeous views of the hill country and the inside space was perfect for our 200 guests. I BIG perk of this venue is all the chairs / tables included, we only had to rent 2 farm tables for the dinner buffet. All in all, an amazing venue!!!

Not only is the scenery stunning, but the venue includes everything a wedding party needs for a seamless event including- a beautiful and spacious bridal suite, groom's quarters, a catering kitchen, ample parking, plenty of bathrooms, terrace cocktail area, and a lovely ceremony and reception space. I would like to thank Vicki and Mark for allowing us to have my daughters wedding at their beautiful venue. We received wonderful compliments on their beautiful location and our guests had a wonderful time. Sitting outside by the fire pit was a great addition, along with the gorgeous bride and groom suites and the glass doors that opened up to the outdoors. I highly recommend this amazing venue!! We were the first couple to get married and hold an event here. We watched this setting turn from nothing in to something...with a few growing pains in between. I cannot express how flexible and accommodating Mark and Vicki are, especially as we navigated the way of learning new things together as new vendors and soon-to-be husband and wife. It’s rustic with a touch of modern. Crisp, clean lines add elegance to the two styles which work in perfect harmony. I, personally, have never seen that before, and it’s truly amazing. Now that we have broken it in, per se, I can say that the future looks bright for this hilltop gem and any couple/ person looking to have a one-of-a-kind experience to create lifelong memories at a great venue and location.
