This is the place you want to use. We just had our second daughter get married at Camp Lucy and again, a perfect experience. Both times we had Katlin as our account manager and there is no way you could have someone better to work with. Our daughters both used the Sacred Oaks venue and you would be hard pressed to find something more beautiful. The giant oaks creating an umbrella over the entire tiered ceremony venue create the perfect place for an outdoor wedding in Texas - elegant and just enough shade for your guests along with perfect pictures. We used the Sperry Tent on the lawn for an elegant cocktail hour that all of our guests loved. Then inside for an elegant sit down dinner and dancing until midnight. One guest said, \"That is the nicest event I have ever been to in my life\" and many more said, \"We had THE best time, what a beautiful venue and a perfect evening\". I expect you will have a similar response from your guests. From the first moment you talk to Kaitlin at Camp Lucy you will be pleased, she is beyond professional and will listen to what YOU want, and with the amazing Camp Lucy staff, make your wedding everything you dreamed of. Kaitlin never missed a beat in creating the event my daughters and wife had in mind. You will also appreciate that not only will the event come off without a hitch, but also her advice in making it right, all while paying attention to the cost. On the day of the wedding the Camp Lucy staff moved seamlessly in the background to make sure everything was perfect and on schedule. From the setup earlier in the day, to waiters pouring champagne on que for the toasts, to a delicious plated meal delivered at each table at once by a team of waiters all perfectly dressed, every detail is attended to by the Camp Lucy staff. We also used an amazing DJ named DJ Nixx and a wedding coordinator named Amy from Hill Country Native that was incredible, I would add them to your perfect team. Again, Kaitlin and the staff are off the chart amazing and if you don't use Camp Lucy for your venue you will be making a colossal mistake. They really know how to make your dream come true so you can all enjoy the day and have it be stress free. Reviewed on 08-01-2024

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Camp Lucy. We were looking for a unique wedding venue for all our friends and family to gather at. The second we toured Ian’s Chapel, we fell in love with the beauty and knew it was the place. We wanted a stunning outdoor ceremony, and the steps at Ian’s chapel, provided the PERFECT backdrop, followed by a STUNNING outdoor cocktail hour under the pavilion and arch. We had the most amazing sunset and guests could not stop taking photos under the arch. We also wanted the reception indoor somewhere different than your typical ballroom. Our guests all weekend could not stop raving about the beauty of camp lucy.We also hosted our Friday night festivities of rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Stedman hall on property. The whole weekend was a complete dream and all the staff are so incredibly kind and professional.Laura, our camp lucy account manager was nothing short of amazing either!! She is so professional and detailed oriented and helped me with my never ending questions the whole year of planning. She also helped me bring my vision of an after party together once our reception ended. Also, all our guests who stayed on property could not stop talking about how gorgeous all their rooms were. Camp Lucy is a total gem and I am still over the moon we found this perfect wedding venue. When I was in the decision process of venues, one of my friends told me she previously didn’t pick camp lucy because she was nervous with them having two wedding venues onsite. To be honest, there was another wedding the same day as ours down the road at Sacred Oaks, and all weekend I would have had no clue. Everything is so spaced out, so our group felt so intimate and special. Literally no issues with another wedding being there as well. This is your sign to book camp lucy if you are thinking about it! Your guests will not shut up about it and it will be the most magical weekend. Reviewed on 05-12-2023

I was looking for a stunning outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and indoor reception space that was elevated but had more character than a typical ballroom - and Sacred Oaks was it. Our account manager Jessie was so sweet and helpful in the planning process! And the whole team makes you feel so special - I loved getting to meet them at our tasting. Which, by the way, was incredible along with all the food day of. We had so many guests compliment our menu! The staff day/night of were all incredible too! I loved that there was nice lodging on site, something that was important to me. Camp Lucy turned out to be even better than all of the expectations my husband and I had for it. It's the most idyllic place in Texas to be married and to have your friends and family join you to celebrate. The staff were so kind and fantastic to us and our guests during the wedding weekend - making it so special and pleasant for us. We had rehearsal dinner/welcome party and our wedding at Ian's Chapel. A total dream location. One of our favorite parts of the weekend was post-event fire side chats with our out of town friends. It was particularly special for my husband to catch up with his law school friends who came in from around the country. I can not recommend Camp Lucy as a venue enough. It was idyllic. We feel completely blessed and incredibly grateful for a wedding week that was joyful, peaceful and full of moments and memories with our loved ones AND was truly picture perfect. The team was very helpful and responsive during our planning, as well as gracious and kind to us as we made many adjustments (I have to assume many more than normal) as guests plans changed leading up to the wedding. I was stressed but CL made it easy and didn't make me feel bad for the covid-related changes. If it's in your budget, Camp Lucy is worth every penny! Book! Reviewed on 22-09-2021
Kelli Sterling(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-09-2021 Camp Lucy is absolutely stunning. There are several locations on-site that can be used as a wedding venue, reception, or location of the rehearsal dinner. Camp Lucy provides all food and beverages but also acts as a turn-key provider of rental and floral services through Whim Hospitality. While we opted not to use Whim Florals since they weren't competitively priced, we did rent farmhouse tables and upgraded furniture items for our wedding. The food was incredible. Definitely the best food I've ever had at a wedding. While I could certainly be biased, the general consensus from our guests was that the food was incredible. Camp Lucy is not a low-cost provider nor are they trying to be. While the venue is certainly approachable for most people, the level of service and passion you get from Camp Lucy is worth every single penny. I cannot recommend this venue enough to those that are looking to get married in the hill country. Reviewed on 20-09-2021
Jennifer Kogan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-08-2021 When we went look for vendors we quickly realized no other vendor compared to CL. We booked with them for May 2020..obviously that got rescheduled and we booked for July 2020 (since everyone predicted covid would be over). Eventually we had to reschedule again for August 2021. Throughout the whole postponing process, CL was amazing! I heard horror stories about venues not letting people postpone, but CL was so incredible. When we finally got to our wedding, of course covid was at another peak, they again worked with us as people started to bail on our wedding. The rehearsal and wedding day was perfect! I am so glad we picked a venue that took care of everything for us so we could just be in the moment on the day of. The only very minor thing is that we were promised we would get good size portions of the food leftover, and since I didnt eat much the day of I was excited, only to learn we got less than a portion for one person. But it was a very minor thing in an otherwise perfect wedding. CL's people are so incredible and always made sure everything was perfect. We booked many cabins for our families and wedding party to stay on site and there were many different billing comments for how much each person was paying, Kaitlin our account manager always went above and beyond making sure that everything was perfect. I would choose CL over and over, I cant say enough good things about them. I had many people comment on how pretty, or perfectly run the day of was. We cant wait to go back for our anniversary!! Mallory Dodd(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-06-2021 If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue that your guests will be stunned by, Camp Lucy is for you. We wanted a beautiful outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception, and Camp Lucy's Sacred Oaks venue was honestly the only one we even looked at. I saw it online, and then when we visited in person, I was sold. Catering and florals/decor are all handled in-house at Camp Lucy, and believe me when I tell you it saved us so much stress and time not to have to find outside vendors and coordinate everything. Not only that but the food and florals were GOOD too. They have an award-winning chef who runs their restaurant and catering and you can tell -- many of our guests spoke about how delicious the food was. The cabins are also gorgeous - we got a honeymoon suite cabin for the night of our wedding and it was so luxurious and beautiful. I think the most important thing I can share about Camp Lucy however is how they handled the covid-19 pandemic. Our wedding was originally planned for June 2020, but we ended up having to postpone twice. Camp Lucy never charged us a dime, and each time we had to postpone, they transferred all the details and made sure we had all the equivalent features (i.e. a Saturday date, honeymoon cabin for us, guest cabins, etc.). Having to postpone our wedding was a heartbreaking decision but they truly made us feel comforted and ensured that we would still get to have the wedding we dreamed of. The covid pandemic really revealed the true colors of a lot of wedding venues and vendors -- we had some that turned out to be not so great people when everything hit the fan. But Camp Lucy was there for us, and I can attest from personal experience that they will have your back throughout the process. Reviewed on 06-07-2021

As other reviews have said, unless you are willing to drop a fair bit of cash I would avoid this place. This was my absolute perfect venue. However, when we went on our tour we were provided with a verbal cost estimate for a Friday of 24k. I was not sure how or where that number was coming from, as they advertise that a Friday at Sacred Oaks was 7.5k. I was expecting to get some kind of information, but we left the tour with nothing. Also, don’t expect your questions to be answered in a timely manner. When I asked about cost again, the amount changed from “You will be spending 24k” to “you must spend at minimum 12k to book with us”. Quite the run around! Also there has been no mention of what vendors are required/ not required. I was only able to figure it out because of the reviews.Maybe there is some information I was missing, but I am sad that we are not able to book here because of all of the misinformation and the struggle for communication! Rebekah Lipsky(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-08-2020 Like many reviews here, our experience with Camp Lucy was mixed.First off, the good. Our wedding was fabulous. Camp Lucy are masters of what they do. Every detail was incredible. The food was delicious. The venue beautiful. The staff warm, professional, on top of every detail, and followed all of our Covid precautions. Their spaces are truly special and they know how to configure them to any size group. They were incredibly creative with setting up multiple socially distanced events for us from pool time to outdoor dinners to our actual wedding. Their hotel rooms are gorgeous and the grounds are full of fun activities. Camp Lucy was the first venue we saw and we immediately knew we wanted to get married there. The mix of on site lodging, fantastic food, a variety of beautiful venues, and the ability to have multiple showstopping events in one location was a no brainer. Their staff are pros at putting on weddings and your event(s) will no doubt be fabulous. Now, the not so good. While our wedding was a dream, the lead up to our wedding was not. It was very frustrating working with Camp Lucy to plan the wedding. This began pre-Covid and ramped up significantly post-Covid. Emails would take weeks to get a response, follow up that was promised wouldn't happen, different staff members that we worked with told us different things — it was truly unpleasant. I know they're managing hundreds of weddings and in the wake of Covid, everything was insane. For that reason, we gave them months after rescheduling our April 2020 wedding to figure out their plans and parameters, but we still couldn't get straight answers in June. We eventually landed on a path forward that we didn't feel great about, but had to accept because we had already paid for most of our original wedding. (Camp Lucy refunded some of our money, but required us to still meet a minimum of $18,000 plus venue fee and 18% administrative charge for our Covid wedding — a 19 person Friday minimony). Additionally, the process to get to that agreement was brutal, involving many phone calls, unreturned emails, bringing in the CEO, etc. As you can imagine, rescheduling your 200 person wedding a few weeks out is stressful and heartbreaking. All our other vendors did everything they could to make the process as seamless as it could be. Camp Lucy added to our stress and made the process extremely difficult. I recognize they were dealing with unfathomable circumstances, but the treatment we received was not what I would have expected from a premium venue. Plus, we had already had issues before Covid with emails not being returned for weeks on end and follow up not being completed. All in all, if I could do it over I'm not sure if I'd have my wedding at Camp Lucy. The wedding itself was absolutely perfect. And the 1.5 years of working with them in the lead up to it were very challenging. I think in non-Covid times, the planning would have been less difficult and it would have been worth it for the incredible events we had. That said, for a premium priced, premiere venue, where we were originally going to spend a lot of money on a 200 person luxury wedding, I would expect more. I hope they hire additional staff or re-evaluate their processes so that they can improve their service in the lead up to the fantastic events they put on. Reviewed on 19-11-2020

They have two different venues to choose from, and each on is so unique and beautiful that you can't go wrong! They helped organize activities (Val was great!), had campfires, and enough space for groups to mingle. It was a delightful time.Day of logistics were smooth. They were able to switch to our rain plan with no problem.Overall venue planning interactions - 3 starsThe overall planning process was okay but moderately unpleasant. The people we interacted with were always nice, but there were several practical things that could have been better. From the beginning, we had to financially commit with a large non-refundable deposit to Camp Lucy (which meant we were committing to Whim as well) before we got any firm pricing from Whim. We kept experiencing situations where they had told us they would do something and then either they didn’t do it or we had to remind them. There was annoyance in dealing with different people who didn’t communicate on their end.Catering - 4 starsWe thought the food was very good. We wished there would have been more cost-effective options than they offered, as the food/alcohol was a larger fraction of the total wedding budget than we originally planned for and would have expected to spend at another venue where we could control the food/drink options.Lodging office - 1.5 starsThis was a bit of a nightmare in the entire time leading up to the weekend and during the weekend as well. The number of times we had to call and correct and re-correct errors they made was a huge time sink and regular frustration. At one point, we noticed that they had booked a new guest over a previous reservation, kicking the first one out without telling them. Because they were already full, they couldn’t even offer an alternate room to the over-booked group, and in apology they offered a pitifully small compensation to book at some not-very-nearby and expensive alternate option. And then, when we arrived, we found out that they had also booked over ANOTHER guest’s reservation. This meant a guest arrived with a confirmation number and didn’t have a room available, causing a hassle to figure out an alternative. Again, the apology was minimal at best. I give them a bump to 1.5 stars here because one of their employees was competent (thanks Haley!) and the rooms were quite nice.Florals - 2 starsThe flowers looked nice, but the interactions leading up to the weekend were a pain. They consistently refused to listen to what we said we wanted and instead kept trying to tell us what we wanted. It turns out they were wrong, and when it came to it, we wish we would have insisted and actually gone more toward what we wanted. In addition, they did nasty things like offering us a gift arrangement and then taking it away without any explanation.OverallThey have potential to be a 5+ star venue if there was improvement in management, especially with communication between Camp Lucy representatives and their approach to lodging reservations. The location and spaces are all beautiful. We ended up having a great time during our wedding weekend, I think in part because we had awesome guests who made the most of it. If you’re willing to keep an eye on Camp Lucy/Whim - keeping good records, standing your ground, and making sure they hear what you actually want, it can turn out great. Reviewed on 06-05-2019
Amy Hinton(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-03-2019 Camp Lucy is a beautiful venue - Sacred Oaks was exactly what I hoped it would be. It ticked so many boxes for us! However, the administration/lodging was a bit of a nightmare. Their lodging was the most stressful part of our entire wedding (and for my mother). Without getting into the gory details, on 3 separate occasions they didn't book rooms correctly or double booked us - which resulted in having to book alternative accommodation for some of our guests (the week before the wedding). One of the times they cancelled our booking to accommodate a SXSW performance. Rather than explaining the situation to us (because obviously that's an amazing opportunity for them) they simply pretended we hadn't booked those rooms on that night. However, we had kept all of the emails so we addressed it with them. All of that being said, if you're going to work with them, keep every single email - just in case. It's sad to me that the lodging fiascoes over shadowed so many amazing aspects of CL. The facilities, venue and reception spots etc. was all great. But the lack of integrity displayed at times by the lodging team was incredibly disappointing. I would recommend, but be wary. Reviewed on 22-04-2019

The staff was so well prepared and knew exactly what to do in all situations. It made it so easy on me. The planning process was also very easy because every vendor in the Austin area either knows about Camp Lucy or has worked a wedding there before. As a matter of fact, my videographer was from Tulsa (my home town) and she even knew about Camp Lucy and was excited to FINALLY get to shoot there! Camp Lucy was kind to send over some appetizers to the bridal suite and took care of everything. Every single guest commented on the rooms, the restaurant, and the amazing views. Mary Doss(parent)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-12-2018 Venue Gorgeous - then the reception not so pleasant. Their caterer dropped wedding cake 1 hour before ceremony. Replaced with what tasted like a store bought cake - it was awful. Food was delicious but they kept running out of food and guest either left without being able to choose from selection or had to hold up the line and wait. Staff was unable to handle the 200 guest. Seating charts were wrong and chairs were broken. Lead bartender was rude and arrogant. Monopoly on food, flowers, drinks, and cake - these are the areas where they failed to deliver and what make a wedding. This monopoly caused this wedding to be more expensive than it should if had the option of using other vendors. My advise is to go elsewhere, there's plenty of other beautiful venues in Austin that would do a much better job than Camp Lucy, in my opinion and experience. Now hey the wedding was beautiful and fun but only because of brides planning of an amazing DJ, Mariachis, and string orchestra for the ceremony - not part of Camp Lucy's venue. Flowers made it beautiful as well which we paid handsomely to the Camp Lucy's monopoly. Nope, other than providing a nice venue this place failed on all other aspects. Reviewed on 17-01-2019
Salyna Guanajuato(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-10-2016 My husband and I were married in 2016 at Camp Lucy. Sacred Oaks was our location, and it was absolutely stunning! The entire space, from the outdoor cocktail location to the indoor reception area, was wonderful for us! It was an overall great experience! The food catered/provided by Camp Lucy’s team and chef was AMAZING!! My family and friends still talk about how great it was two years later! The one area that I struggled with were the floral services - I actually had huge difficulties with the floralist who was assigned to our wedding. I would provide specific details numerous times of what I wanted, and she would produce completely different ideas for the flowers. At one point, I was so upset with my experience communicating with her that my husband actually contacted one of main coordinators at Camp Lucy to try to solve the problems we were having with her (we were required to use Camp Lucy’s floral services). In the end, the flowers were alright, still not exactly what I had wanted, but far better than what the florist started with. This was the main reason for the four stars, instead of five.Camp Lucy is a gorgeous location, and we absolutely loved the grounds and the overall experience of having our wedding there! Also, the cottages and grounds are just beautiful. The fire pit and lawn games got a lot of use in the area and it was such a gift to be close to all of our family and friends. From the food to the florals to the wait staff.... every single person is beyond amazing. On the day of our morning brunch wedding the temps dropped into the 40s and the whole \"outdoor garden\" vibe began to crumble with the chilly wind and unseasonable weather. SO- the staff wasted NO time and flipped the WHOLE reception - even tho we made the call after the ceremony. They gave us a beautiful indoor brunch wedding reception that kept our guests comfortable. We brought everyone in on Tuesday to stay at lodging at Camp Lucy, had a pre-wedding reception dinner on Wednesday at Camp Lucy, and the ceremony at Ian’s Chapel. The entire staff was amazing to work with and helped create a special experience for everyone. Camp Lucy is known for being able to host gorgeous weddings with several hundred guests, but they can also host an intimate and small one as well. Allison Pokladnik(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-12-2017 Bottom line: Camp Lucy is beautiful but the costs really sneak up on you. If your budget is $20,000 or less it is a major challenge. The positives: the people are very nice to work with and very responsive. Anna was our main contact and she was great to work with. Everything is beautiful so photos will turn out amazing. The cons: You must use their florist and caterer, Whim. The food, while delicious, is VERY expensive. The flowers, while beautiful, are VERY expensive. For example, a kids meal starts at $60 and an arch of greenery was just under $1,000. I ended up having to DIY the majority of my decor to stay within our budget which made the months leading up stressful. You cannot bring in your own flowers so I had to get creative. There are not many hotel options nearby and some of our guests had to stay 45 minutes away. We only had 80 guests and people booked hotels early. The cost to stay at Camp Lucy in the cabins is astronomical. We stayed in the cheapest cabin they had so we could be on site and for 2 nights our bill with taxes was $657. We had some discrepancies on our final bill but accounting was very pleasant to work with and got it resolved quickly. All in all would I book it again? Unfortunately no just because of how easily the costs ran up. If your budget is $30k-$50k it would be perfect for that. Reviewed on 07-02-2018

As soon as we pulled up to Sacred Oaks I knew that this is exactly where I wanted to marry my best friend. It was everything I envisioned for our fairytale wedding. The beautiful oak trees and hanging lights provided a romantic ambiance, while the indoor reception area with its beautiful beams and architecture, although rustic was still able to accommodate the winter wonderland theme I was going for. It rained the day of our wedding and it was foggy, but our Day of Wedding Coordinator, Kim Hunt, whom I highly recommend, was there to calm my nerves and help coordinate everything to where we were able to still have our ceremony outside. This gave us the most beautiful photos! From the tour to the getaway on the day of the wedding, the staff was there every step of the way to help in any way they were able. All our friends and family, even the ones that were not there physically, but have seen our pictures just through Facebook, have raved and continue to compliment on how beautiful this venue is! They have cabins on property that are great and convenient for you and your guests. Unfortunately, we were unable to experience them because they were unavailable so we had already booked our hotel room blocks elsewhere, but we will definitely take advantage on our year wedding anniversary! They also have catering, rentals, and florals in-house which really did save me a lot of time with searching for these vendors. Plus, they already know the venue inside and out, so I trusted their opinions and the food was delicious! The space is set up wonderfully for everything to flow smoothly during your entire event. The bridal suite's bathroom is also the perfect size for anyone that chooses to wear a big ball gown on their wedding day ;). A unique aspect about Camp Lucy is that they offer catering, florals, event rentals, and wedding planners. I had Kristen White, wedding planner, for my day of coordinator, and she is absolutely the BEST! She has been with Camp Lucy for over 10 years now, and she previously had her own wedding planning company. If you choose Camp Lucy, then you have to also use Kristen for your coordinator (even though hiring a coordinator is optional, I HIGHLY recommend it for the day of the wedding). The catering, florals, and rentals were all exquisite. Our guests cannnot stop raving about everything! It was honestly the best day of my life. Camp Lucy is incredibly professional, friendly, organized, and accommodating. I was hesitant at first that you had to use their caterer and florals, but after reviewing them and having consultations, I would have picked them even if I wasn't getting married at Camp Lucy. Alyssa with florals did an incredible job. Everything looked stunning, and she was able to display everything better than what I could have dreamed. Not to mention the food is absolutely amazing (get the shiner bock honey glazed salmon!!) Also, Luke with event rentals makes picking out everything for your wedding easy AND fun!! Everyone at Camp Lucy is professional and friendly. We did not have a single negative experience. I would remarry here tomorrow if I could! Reviewed on 19-06-2016
A X(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-08-2016 Oh my goodness I cannot say enough good things about Camp Lucy! This place is the ultimate Hill Country wedding venue. My now husband and I flew down from NYC for 2 days and saw 9 venues in 1 day (we must have been crazy) but as soon as walked into the ceremony space at Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy I knew it was it. My husband still talks about how magical it was to see it for the first time. I was initially worried about how it is all Whim (catering / rentals / etc) but honestly it was one of the best parts... everyone who works at Camp Lucy and Whim knows each other and coordinates with one another to make sure that everything lines up. I never realized how many different moving parts there would be in planning a wedding but with the Whim and Camp Lucy team it was SO much more manageable - they thought of things I never would! I literally emailed rentals / catering / my on-site coordinator at 2AM and they would respond by 9 or 10AM the next day with full options and explanations.. talk about dedication. Most of all, i really just loved working with each and every person at Camp Lucy (special shout outs to the Hawkins women!) their energy and passion for creating beautiful events shines through every meeting and call and you just feel so taken care of throughout the entire process and day of. Trust me, I know it seems like a big investment up front but it is worth every penny, and more! Thank you Camp Lucy for giving us the most magical wedding! Reviewed on 14-06-2016
Madeline Wilson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-05-2016 2 reviews5.0 star rating 5/3/2016I first saw Sacred Oaks when I was looking for a venue with my sister a few years ago, and it was not quite finished yet. I could tell it was going to be spectacular though, and as soon as we got engaged, we made an appointment to visit. The oak trees are breathtaking and the cocktail hour lawn and the reception hall is just beautiful! Needless to say, I whole-heartedly believe that this is the most beautiful venue around. When we visited (two weeks after we got engaged, and a year out of our ideal wedding date) they only had Fridays and Sundays available at both sites until mid-summer. We went with a Friday though, which ended up being perfect for us and our families. They encourage you to use Whim for catering, florals, and rentals because they work very closely with them and make everything so easy. We indeed used Whim for everything, and Camp Lucy has a unified billing setup that makes payment and tracking payments SO easy. We also rented out all of the cottages for both Thursday and Friday (our wedding was on a Friday evening) and that was the best part of the entire weekend. All of our friends and family were together, they provided s'mores for us by the fire pit each night, complimentary breakfast that is incredible, and we just had the best time. The staff at the cottages were so kind and caring and helpful, and they even had someone working the front desk throughout the nights just in case anyone ever needed anything. One of our attendants locked herself out of her cottage at 2 am and got a key right away :) We were slightly worried about having to shift everything inside because of inclement weather, but it was a beautiful day and cleared off in perfect time for them to get everything set up for us! The getting-ready facilities on site are also just gorgeous and perfect for beautiful photos. Shelby was our Manager On Duty for our day and was incredible. She's spunky and fun and super positive and helpful, and helped us get everything together wonderfully. Thanks to Campy Lucy, everything was everything we ever hoped it would be. We were blessed with the most beautiful weather, for February. The staff at Camp Lucy went above and beyond to make everything perfect! When I first heard of Camp Lucy, all the reviews talked about how wonderful the food was. The food is amazing, our guests were so impressed by the dinner being gourmet and so wonderful. The staff was flawless and did everything in their power to accommodate any requests. Shelby, our onside manager, took such good care of us and kept on top of everything. They worked beautifully with our wedding planners, and did everything they could to make sure the evening went as planned! I would have ten more weddings here if I had anyone else to get married - this place is fabulous!! It has the entire package, beautiful ceremony space, gorgeous outdoor spaces, patios, and the inside venue is amazing! Kristyn Wilkerson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-04-2015 Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy was the only venue that caught my eye when I was looking for wedding venues in the Austin area. They had an open house the following weekend and when we toured the facility, we instantly knew it was the perfect venue! The way the lights hang in the trees over the ceremony site is breathtaking and timeless. The bridal suite is stunning and spacious. The staff are friendly and for the most part helpful. They require you to use Whim Catering and Whim Rentals. Our guests raved over how delicious the food was and multiple people told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! We stayed in the cabins the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding, along with our wedding party and immediate family. Not only were the cabins convenient, but they were also beautiful and very comfortable! We had to share the cabins with another wedding party the night of our wedding, so BOOK EARLY if you want all of them! Also, if you are planning on getting ready in the bridal suite the day of, make sure you negotiate that into your contract. Otherwise, they will try to charge an extra $100 per hour in addition to the venue fee. The only big hiccup that happened was the catering staff threw away our expensive wedding cake rather than packing it up for us, which is very upsetting. The management was apologetic and did their best to make it up to us, but throwing away a wedding cake is something I never imagined would happen and it's still a huge disappointment. Overall, we had a great experience at Camp Lucy and I would highly recommend them! Reviewed on 22-12-2015

I visited Camp Lucy last September when I found it online and thought is was gorgeous. As I walked up to the aisle at Sacred Oaks I got goosebumps and this crazy feeling of excitement that this is where I'm going to get married. Fast forward after one year of planning it was finally my wedding day in Nov 2015 and I had the time of my life! Everyone went on and on about how gorgeous this place was and the food was just fantastic!! Nicole Randazzo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-11-2015 Camp Lucy was my top choice entering wedding planning! Thankfully, we were able to lock down and date that worked early on. If you are leaning towards a date, I HIGHLY recommend \"holding\" the date while deciding. The hold is put on your date for 7 days, so the chances of someone snatching your date becomes a non-factor! Venues in this area and Austin go VERY quickly, so don't delay nailing the venue down. \r\rIan's Chapel offers several ceremony options (indoor and outdoor), which I believe is a MUST in Texas weather, regardless of the time of year. Ian's Chapel is a great option for variety and character!\r\rThe staff was very helpful when communicating with my mom, myself and wedding coordinator (Beth Walker of 36th Street Events). The on-site cater (Whim Catering) was especially helpful and tasty! I have several food allergies (gluten, dairy, onion, garlic) and Whim accommodated each one in our tasting and the wedding. Guests said our food was some of the best they had ever had at a wedding!\r\rOn the day off, the staff was great about, the manager on duty was great about introducing herself, yet not being pushy. All around, I LOVED Ian's Chapel at Camp Lucy and our wedding day. I wouldn't have changed a thing! Reviewed on 28-11-2015
Lindsey Tatum(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2015 Ian's Chapel at Camp Lucy was gorgeous. At first comparison, they may seem a little more pricey than other venues, but in the long run, I found that it evens out. Because the location is so naturally beautiful on its own, we saved money (and stress) on decor. Having everything in 1 location (catering and rentals are also in house) was also a very nice perk. In fact, we didn't have to do any extra decorating to the chapel. The staff at Camp Lucy worked directly with our coordinator and allowed me to be as involved or uninvolved as I wanted. I do not have a single complaint about anything, and I highly recommend Camp Lucy to any other couples looking for a professional, courteous, and fun staff to work with. Reviewed on 21-11-2015

We had some foodie's at our wedding who commented that this is not you run of the mill wedding food. It was delicious I would LOVE the recipe for the green chile macaroni and cheese. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has multiple places to take great photos. The staff does not disappoint. I dealt with multiple people at Camp Lucy and each was more helpful than the last. The staff helped setup my wedding and helped break it down and with clean up. It took 20 minutes to be out of the venue at the end of the night (crazy fast if you have ever done this you know!). The only minor complaint is in the process of being fixed- billing. We had to pay each department separately which got confusing but they are in the process of streamlining this. The on site cabins are to die for. We will be spending anniversaries in the cabins. Our bridal party and family stayed the night before the wedding and we had great bonding time at the camp fire making smores. They definitely came through to make our wedding a smashing success! Our guests constantly mentioned to us how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food tasted, the best food they had ever had at a wedding. \r\rWe did have moments during our planning when we questioned our decision to book Camp Lucy as our venue because we felt nickle-and-dimed by them. We didn't realize when we booked that our catering bill (you have to use Camp Lucy catering) would have a staffing fee that would double our bill. They also had a lot of other charges that we thought would have been included when booking the venue. One example, their florist, which is located about 30 ft from the event hall, had a 20% service charge whereas the local florist we went through located in downtown Austin only had a 11% service charge and didn't charge for delivery.\r\rAll in all, we are very happy with our Camp Lucy wedding and probably would not change anything. \r\r Reviewed on 14-08-2015
Alexandra Taylor(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-06-2015 Camp Lucy is a gorgeous venue. We had Sacred Oaks and, although it rained all day, the staff was constantly around to make sure everything was in order. The caveat to all this was that Camp Lucy was, in our opinion, very expensive. I'm bummed that it rained all day so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor section of our venue but that isn't their fault.
