Downtown Venue - Contemporary Charleston
Cannon Green is a historic wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Charleston, SC. The concept of this estate is a fusion of centuries, design, and flavors that together create a unique and unforgettable experience. The property comprises three breathtaking event spaces, all of which exude classic elegance and contemporary cool. Enjoy a breezy and beautiful wedding in this architectural treasure featuring exquisite culinary menus and comprehensive packages. The three event sites at Cannon Green can be rented separately or together for your celebration. The Garden Room can accommodate up to 120 guests for passed hors dâoeuvres is characterized by a modern and minimalist design. This dining room is centered around the buildingâs original façade, which dates back to the 1840s, and comes with tabletops, chairs, and a bar. Adjacent to the Garden Room is the Courtyard, a spacious walled patio that is tiled with travertine hardscaping and wreathed by palmettos and reflecting ponds. Included with booking of the Courtyard is the 3,200-square-foot Trolley Room. This banquet hall is housed in a former warehouse and boasts original trusses, hardwood floors, and glass doors. The Trolley Room can host 250 guests for your chic Charleston rehearsal dinner, ceremony, or reception. The events team at Cannon Green is delighted to work with you to plan and execute the wedding of your dreams. These professionals welcome nuptials of all sizes and specialize in intimate elopements followed by curated reception dinners. Menus highlight seasonal and fresh ingredients that are sourced locally. Most prominent among the offerings are Coastal Italian cuisine and regional South Carolina fare. Cannon Green is hands down the best venue in Charleston. The location, the gorgeous courtyard, historic Trolley Room, the food, the service, literally everything!! For brides like myself who don't want to deal with renting everything down to linens and silverware, Cannon Green provides everything you could need... even incredible food! We worked with Tayla who is just amazing, she is organized and responsive and I never had to stress about things running smoothly because she always had everything handled- along with the entire CG team! Our wedding guests couldn't stop saying how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was. Would recommend CG to anyone!

Cannon Green is truly the best venue hands down! From the moment we walked in, my husband and I knew this was our place! The staff was so helpful planning our wedding from NY and I could not imagine an easier process. Our wedding was STUNNING and the food was AMAZING! All our guests traveled out of town and can not stop raving about this night. I would recommend Cannon Green 1000/10 and would say to look no farther. This was the best night of our lives !!

Highly recommend! The atmosphere, service and food were all absolutely amazing! Everything went so smoothly. The all-inclusive aspect made planning so much easier too. You donât need much additional decor because the venue is so beautiful on its own. Definitely my dream wedding!

We had our rehearsal dinner (60 guests) and later, our welcome party (150 guests), at Cannon Green. It was absolutely perfect. We worked with Tayla, who was wonderful every step of the process. She was great at communicating, friendly, and ensured our day was seamless. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with a large inside space (the Trolley room) and outdoor courtyard (lined with beautiful palm trees, fountains, and string lighting). I would highly recommend Cannon Green for a variety of events. Can't beat its beauty, location, and wonderful staff.

Cannon Green was perfect for our February wedding! Tayla and Pressley were incredibly helpful and professional and made sure everything was taken care of, even when it decided to rain last minute on the day they were able to make it the best wedding ever. We came across cannon green in a best venues article and fell in love. We got a virtual tour and booked without seeing it in person. The first time we visited, over 6 months later, we were a little nervous. But oh my goodness the venue is even prettier in person! Donât just book because of the gorgeous venue though - book because or the amazing service. We worked with Meg and canât recommend her enough. She helped us through the entire process and literally everything was perfect. The Cannon Green team are true professionals. and I promise you will be in good hands. We worked with Anna through multiple (and I mean multiple) wedding date postponements due to COVID, and she was so kind, responsive, thoughtful, and accommodating along the way â I felt like I had gained a friend at the end of the planning process! The day of was a dream and went so smoothly, and Iâm still dreaming of the food and drinks we had (they even made a special steak frites meal we requested, and it was fantastic). Wish I could relive our day over and over thanks to Cannon Green and the team!

My husband and I got engaged at the beginning of the pandemic, so getting to tour venues was difficult. When we decided to look at Cannon Green, Anna made this as seamless as possible. She facetimed us twice and gave us a full tour of Cannon Green while answering all of our questions. Even after the first facetime tour, we fell in love with Cannon Green's simple and elegant beauty. On the day of the wedding, it was windy, raining, and cold. Nevertheless Cannon Green staff made the venue look like a dream! The courtyard tent proved to be beautiful, and our vendors made the trolley room look outstanding! The food is out of this world delicious as well. We received so many compliments from guests that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted. I cannot recommend Cannon Green (and Anna!) enough if you are considering it as your wedding venue.

Food was top-notch, location in downtown Charleston was excellent and the service was 5-star. My husband and I highly recommend Cannon Green! Our guests are still raving about the food!

I was looking for a Charleston feel wedding and Cannon Green was PERFECT for this. Having the ceremony in the courtyard gave a very romantic feel to the entire ceremony. With cocktail hour and the reception in the Trolley Room it gave the exact Charleston vibes I was looking for. The best part of the venue: THE FOOD! My guests never stopped talking about how amazing the food was. (They talked about it for days after the wedding). I recommend this venue to any bride looking for a romantic, Charleston wedding!

My husband and I were supposed to get married at Cannon Green in April of 2020 and then again in December of 2020, and both dates had to be rescheduled due to COVID. We worked with Alyson, and Alyson and Cannon Green helped us to easily reschedule twice. We finally had our wedding in September of 2021, and everything was perfect! The venue is beautiful and offers indoor and outdoor space, they include everything you need but also allow you to bring in rentals if you would like to, and the food is fantastic! From the beginning of the planning process to the wedding (which ended up being much longer than we all ever imagined!), the team at Cannon Green was helpful, gracious, and professional. We loved having our wedding at Cannon Green, and our guests did too. We are all from out of town and greatly appreciated the Charleston vibes the venue offers and the delicious food. Cannon Green helped us create the wedding of our dreams, and we are forever grateful! I highly recommend Cannon Green as a venue for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or any special event you are planning!

Cannon Green caught my eye from the beginning of our wedding planning journey. From seeing it on the Knot to my first visit with Anna, I knew it would be perfect for us. Their mix of Charleston history, outdoor greenery, and modern services made for a truly perfect wedding. Anna was so easy to work with and very accommodating. She worked with special menu and drink requests and helped us achieve the exact vision we had for our day.Being able to have an outdoor wedding while staying downtown was important to us. Their outdoor courtyard was perfect for our ceremony while the Trolley room offered an indoor space for dinner and dancing. The inclusive nature of Cannon Green was also an important feature; offering everything from food and drink to tables, chairs, dinnerware, and linens to impeccable service - all wrapped up in one cost. It made planning very easy for us!Not only was the venue beautiful but the food was beyond amazing. So many of our guests have commented on how delicious the food was. \"I'll be dreaming of those collard greens forever.\" -exact quote from my bridesmaid. :) We would not have changed a thing! Cannon Green did a fantastic job with our rehearsal dinner in the Garden Room. As an out-of-town mother, planning an event in Charleston, I really appreciated the care they took in helping me plan a perfect evening. Anna Steadman, our event planner is a treasure and was a total pleasure to work with. She put me at ease from the start and offered many options that worked within our budget and style. The thing I liked the best about this space was that it included everything we needed. The space is light and airy and the architectural aspects of the building were so eye-catching and beautiful. At night, the room took on an intimate and upbeat vibe that set the perfect tone for our event and kickoff to wedding weekend. In addition to all food, beverages and dessert, our event included all servers, bar tenders, tableware, votives, several large green potted plants for ambiance and an excellent sound system that allowed us to play from Spotify for background music. There was ample space for separate bar, coffee and dessert service, along with space dedicated for an 82\" TV display for our slideshow presentation. The highlight of the event was the food. It was fantastic! The food tasting really helped us select the perfect hors d'oeuvres, main course and desserts to suit our guests. The staff is well trained, positive and efficient. I would definitely recommend Cannon Green to anyone who is looking for excellent food, trained and dedicated staff and lovely atmosphere to host a memorable event.

My wife and I were supposed to get married in April of 2020 and Cannon Green was where we wanted to have our Rehearsal Dinner. Earlier in the year, Alyson set up our food/wine tasting, which was out of this world. So incredibly good and we couldn't wait to have our Rehearsal Dinner there. Well COVID had other plans for us and we postponed our wedding to July, 2020. Once again, COVID made us change our plans last minute and we decided to simply skip our Rehearsal Dinner, knowing it would be with the same 20 people that would be at our wedding the next night. Alyson and her team were extremely accommodating and by our side through this difficult time. Alyson offered a great idea of having a 1-year anniversary party at Cannon Green to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family that we couldn't have during our wedding. So July 2nd, Cannon Green hosted our 1-year party and it was amazing. So well orchestrated and Alyson and Beth had everything lined up and prepared just as we wished. The service, food, furniture, layout was all top-notch and the venue is unlike anywhere else in Charleston. We still get compliments of Cannon Green from friends and family to this day and we are so grateful for everything they did for us. They were there for us in the beginning and all 14 months after! Couldn't say enough good things about Cannon Green and their team!

I cannot even put into words how thrilled we were with Anna, Cannon Green and the entire event team. From the start, we called Anna to inquire about having our wedding at CG. She was SO kind, knowledgable, and helped us get creative with their package offerings to create the wedding that we had always dreamed of. I didn't expect to end the call feeling like I had made a friend, but I did! Not living in Charleston, I appreciated that Cannon Green really had it all under one roof. We didn't have to spend time making tedious decisions on rentals, linens, dinner wear, etc. Anna was always available for phone calls when we had questions leading up to the wedding, as there were many :)We traveled to Charleston for the tasting at Cannon Green with our families a few months prior to the wedding. We had been told that there was no better tasting than at CG, so we were so excited. Sure enough, it was perfectly planned out, the food was INCREDIBLE, and it really kicked off the excitement in the couple of months leading up to our wedding.Our wedding was on February 19th, 2021 and it was the best and most perfect day of our lives. The ceremony in the courtyard was breathtaking. It looked even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. The cocktail hour following the ceremony was flawless. The wait staff was SO attentive and prompt, the bar staff was speedy, dinner was amazing, and all of our friends and family were blown away with the beauty of Cannon Green, as were we! A month later, we are still on cloud 9 over our perfect day.I cannot recommend Cannon Green and the flawless experience that they gave us enough. We are beyond grateful for Anna, her team, the venue itself, and the memories made that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Bonus points because they have in house catering and bartenders and it includes all linens, silverware, plates-they literally handle everything. We basically showed up with a cake, some flowers, and the wedding party because everything else was taken care of. We worked with Alyson and she was incredible- she was so attentive and responsive to our many questions and requests, especially regarding COVID. We got so many compliments on the venue and the food (SO GOOD), and I know the reason our wedding went off without complications was because of Alyson and their amazing staff here. 5 stars is not enough!

Cannon Green is the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever seen! On top of the beauty of the venue, the food and beverages are PHENOMENAL. I felt so lucky to be able to have my wedding there! I was blown away with the turn-key experience Cannon Green provides. This really helped making the planning process simple, as I was only responsible for finding three additional vendors! Alyson (one of the event managers) exceeded all my expectations! She was always quick to respond and was able to help me modify my wedding plans ensure proper COVID precautions were taken. Alyson and Cannon Green were very accommodating with the changes I had to make to the wedding I originally planned. They did everything they could to help me have a safe and beautiful wedding!

Alyson and Cannon Green were very accommodating with the changes I had to make to the wedding I originally planned. They did everything they could to help me have a safe and beautiful wedding!

My husband and I held our wedding at Cannon Green in November 2020. With all of the uncertainty surrounding this year, we were fielding questions and concerns left and right. If we had chosen any other venue, we may have ended up rescheduling or eloping. But we chose correctly- and it became quickly evident that Cannon Green was at the top of their game. Our coordinator, Alyson, was exceptional to say the least. She was communicative, organized, detailed, and left no stone unturned and no question unanswered. She and the staff accommodated every single possible concern from diet to space to sanitizer stations. We were floored at not only how sensational everything looked, but how comfortable and safe Cannon Green made our guests feel in order to be able to celebrate with us. We heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about the food, the service, and the ambiance. I cannot say enough about how strongly I recommend this venue. We were able to hold our intimate dream wedding and every moment was magical and seamless thanks to the staff and planning at Cannon Green!!!

The most beautiful venue with the most wonderful staff. We worked with Alyson, and through COVID, she was able to accommodate our changes and needs effortlessly. She was so responsive and helpful through the entire process. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect- a courtyard ceremony followed by an intimate outdoor dinner under the twinkle lights- it felt like out of a movie! She was very attentive to each detail and helped guide me through the many decisions that needed to be made. We met several times to discuss my thoughts, walked through the venue and she created a detailed plan for the actual day of events. She is very organized and anticipates what you need before you even realize it. Anna is very thoughtful and a true joy to work with!This was truly very special day for us! We were so fortunate to have our wedding and celebrate with family and friends at one of the most uniquely charming venues in Charleston! There is a stunning courtyard and two lovely interior rooms, one with a historic Charleston Home as the backdrop. You have to see to believe what an unbelievable space this is, all tucked away on Spring Street . Our plan was to have a sweet, simple ceremony outside in the courtyard beginning at 6pm, followed by cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a dinner reception. It was a lovely day, but rain was threatening in the late afternoon. Thankfully we took our \"First Look\" pictures outside in the gorgeous courtyard. Just before 6pm the guests began to arrive and the rain started...Anna was in constant communication with me, updating me as things progressed. She coordinated the last minute change of plans seamlessly and her staff quickly pivoted to set the stage for the ceremony in The Garden Room in front of the historic Charleston Single home. Well done!! We began the celebration soon after the ceremony and loved the \"His and Hers\" cocktails (An Old Fashioned for him and a French 75 for her) that were served, as well as fantastic passed hors d'oeuvres. The Chef's Table with Chef Orlando and his team was such a unique and special culinary journey! We are always blown away by his Tasting Menu and wine paring which, only elevates the entire experience. This was no exception - it was perfect!!A very special thank you to Anna and her team and to Chef Orlando and his culinary team for creating such a memorable evening for our wedding and celebration with our guests! Quick back storyâŠbefore I got engaged, I found Cannon Green on the Knot/Wedding Wire. My husband and I wanted a âdestination weddingâ and Charleston felt like the perfect place for our friends and family to escape for a weekend, explore, and indulge in such a marvelous city. I couldnât believe how gorgeous Cannon Green looked. Every single picture, review, etc. was GLOWING. I saved/tucked this awayâŠand when it finally came to plan the big day, I thought âMaybe we can make this place workâŠit would be my DREAM.â Well lucky for us, we were able to move forward with CANNON GREEN! I was so confident in the venue, that we booked sight-unseen, since we were from out of town. I saw it 6 months later at our tasting, where we met & worked with Anna, and I KNEW we made the right choice. I cannot thank Anna & the team enough for their flexibility, attention to detail, and dealing with a very stressed, sometimes sad & anxious bride, due to this years circumstances! Anna was always there to work me through details, different bumps in the road with lower guest count, and accommodating all our needs for the event. Our guests were blown away by the food and service, the fountains and palmetto trees, the dreamy courtyard. Anna can vouch, that when I arrived an hour before walking down the aisle, seeing the space with all our touches, florals, etc. I was brought to TEARS. From the first day we saw the venue, we knew immediately that this is where we wanted to get married. It is a stunning, elegant all-inclusive space with the most beautiful courtyard. Cannon Green provided all of the food & beverage service so it's a one-stop-shop dream venue. We had several guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had and we completely agree! Not only did our guest rave about Cannon Green...our Vendors did too! My husband and I live in Charleston so we have attended weddings at all the top Charleston venues and this by far is the best wedding venue in the Charleston area and probably one of the top venues in the US. It's definitely the best wedding food in the area no questions asked on that - we highly recommend Cannon Green!!!

We live in Florida and were nervous about planning a destination wedding. Choosing Cannon Green and working with Alyson was the most perfect choice and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The venue is so turnkey the planning was so easy. Alyson was so wonderful to work with - extremely quick, responsive and pleasant. From the initial walk through/venue tour to our tasting/menu finalization through to the day of the level of service was top-notch. The venue itself is stunning. Our guests still rave about it. You can add as much decor as you'd like but you honestly don't need much - the greenery and courtyard and the trolley room are the perfect Southern Charm venue. We were curious to see how quickly the team would flip the ceremony space to the cocktail hour space and to be honest, it was done before I even had time to pay attention. Service was great - a server even brought me a plate of food during cocktail hour while we were taking photos to make sure I was able to taste everything! I'd give Alyson and Cannon Green 10 stars if I could!

Cannon Green was the best decision we ever made! Our wedding, originally scheduled for September 6, was pushed to September 8 due to Hurricane Dorian. What would have been the most stressful and worrisome time was put at ease with the overwhelming support from Alyson and the CG team. They were able to accommodate us and all of our guests (as well as all of our vendors!) the same weekend without one hiccup. I cannot say enough about how amazing Alyson was during the entire planning process. She was extremely professional and responsive to every small detail I threw at her. One thing that separates Cannon Green from the many other wedding venues in Charleston is their food. Being a fine-dining restaurant, they have this down to a science. From the canapes to the salads and entrees, everything was absolutely delicious. We went with the crab cake, beef tenderloin and vegetable linguine - just perfection. It truly is an awesome experience for your guests to have such high-end food and at a wedding no less! If you are contemplating a venue in Charleston for your wedding, you CANNOT go wrong with Cannon Green. Not only is the space immaculate, lush and beautiful with palm trees and greenery, but the service was impeccable. I cannot count how many compliments we received on how stunning the venue is. Cannon Green was the perfect venue to host our guests who flew in from all over the country. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the space requires little decorating. I did not see/visit the venue until the day before my wedding (as I live in Austin). I was trusting that it would be beautiful, and it truly was. There is nothing that I would change. Biggest plus, I was not stressed or overwhelmed in the SLIGHTEST throughout the entire process, Alyson was extremely easy to work with, very attentive, kind and responsive.

Not to mention, Alyson was a dream to work with -- the perfect combination of easy-going and detail-oriented, she was always available to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect day. I wish I could give more stars! Choosing Cannon Green as our wedding venue was the best choice we ever made. It is now almost two weeks out since our wedding and our guests are STILL raving about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious all the food was!! Everyone said it was the best wedding experience they've had - everything from the food, to the impeccable service, to the naturally lush decor of the venue.. we keep receiving rave reviews! These were all things I had previously read in many reviews about Cannon Green, which was what prompted me to reach out to them intially. Since day 1, this venue truly did not disappoint. One major factor that made this entire wedding planning process such an ease was working with their senior event sales manager, Anna. Anna addressed every question and concern with an exceptional poise and grace that just made me feel comfortable to work with her from the start. She continuously made an effort in providing solutions and suggestions that always kept our best interests in mind. Before we signed all the contracts, Anna provided us with a custom quote based off all the things we hoped to include; everything from type of dinnerâto bar packagesâ to amount of canapĂ©s and stations during cocktail hour. It was incredibly helpful to see everything up front and allowed us to prioritize and eliminate certain elements based on our budget. Seeing that estimate also allowed for us to properly plan our savings strategy for the approaching year. Even though we already had confidence in Cannon Green based off how all the communication was going with Anna, it wasn't until our tasting where we felt fully confident in the amount of professionalism they make sure to put into every detail. Those nerves that come with planning any big event were completely diminished, and we had full confidence in their ability to execute exceptional service from then on. We are looking forward to returning to Cannon Green for our 1 year anniversary to celebrate. I wish I could give more stars! Choosing Cannon Green as our wedding venue was the best choice we ever made. It is now almost two weeks out since our wedding and our guests are STILL raving about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious all the food was!! Everyone said it was the best wedding experience they've had - everything from the food, to the impeccable service, to the naturally lush decor of the venue.. we keep receiving rave reviews! These were all things I had previously read in many reviews about Cannon Green, which was what prompted me to reach out to them intially. Since day 1, this venue truly did not disappoint. One major factor that made this entire wedding planning process such an ease was working with their senior event sales manager, Anna. Anna addressed every question and concern with an exceptional poise and grace that just made me feel comfortable to work with her from the start. She continuously made an effort in providing solutions and suggestions that always kept our best interests in mind. Before we signed all the contracts, Anna provided us with a custom quote based off all the things we hoped to include; everything from type of dinnerâto bar packagesâ to amount of canapĂ©s and stations during cocktail hour. It was incredibly helpful to see everything up front and allowed us to prioritize and eliminate certain elements based on our budget. Seeing that estimate also allowed for us to properly plan our savings strategy for the approaching year. It was not only a gorgeous setting, but the food was delicious and service perfect. One of the best parts of CG is the professionalism. Every meeting was well thought out, all questions addressed and we knew from the first day we met with the venue that we were dealing with pros. A huge thank you to Demi Meeker! She is the best! It was like having a built in wedding planner. She orchestrated the entire reception keeping our vision in mind and making the process fun and simple. This is a lot to say when juggling a zillion details. Demi and her staff were so on top of everything that there was really nothing to worry about. We knew that we were in excellent hands. Cannon Green has curated the best and brings everything to you so there is no need to outsource vendors. This and you can put your own creative spin on things to make the day your own. She was so responsive to every question and request and so helpful during the planning process. Our day-of was so smooth and everything went according to plan. Alyson and the Cannon Green staff were so accommodating to our guests and made sure that we, as the bride and groom, always had whatever we needed. The food was absolutely incredible and we received so many compliments from our guests saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The venue space is so naturally beautiful and well kept year round that we didn't have to do much to decorate the space. Everything was absolutely stunning. The planning process was so stress-free since Cannon Green took care of so many of the logistics and I didn't have to rent any equipment. Having our wedding at Cannon Green was the best decision ever!!! Immediately I began working with Anna over a year before our wedding date. She scheduled a phone conference to answer some questions then invited my fiancĂ© and me to Cannon Green to get a tour of the venue and some more information. Cannon Green does so much for you! They provide the linens, tables, chairs, lighting, a dance floor, food, alcohol, wait staff, and I am sure I am forgetting other details. Working with Anna, she provided us a preferred vendor list and gave us a timeline of what to expect with the planning process. We could email Anna at any point throughout the process and know we would get a response within 24 hours! About three months out we received an email from Anna about the food tasting. You are able to invite two other guests, no charge. When we arrived Anna was there to greet us with a glass of champagne. At the tasting we tried five hors d'oeuvres, two first courses, two second courses, three white wines and three red wines. Anna also discussed with us the layout of the reception and the day of schedule with different examples at hand if we needed it. It was so helpful, I was so happy with how organized and professional the tasting felt. Anna made time to sit down with my photographer, day of and myself to finalize the schedule and make sure everyone was on the same page about a month out. During the reception I received many compliments about Cannon Green! From how awesome it was that there was an outside courtyard to the inside of the beautiful venue. That the food was delicious and the wait staff was very helpful. Anna even came to ask my fiancĂ© and me if we needed anything and wished us a happy marriage. Truly Cannon Green is extremely organized, which was so helpful and saved me time with planning and thinking. It felt as though I had a wedding planner, who helped me think out the details that I wanted. The food is AMAZING and everyone raved about how delicious everything was! The wait staff was quick to anyoneâs needs and observant. Although the price seems high, there is so much included at such a high quality that one would spend contacting other vendors for the small details. Just as my photographer said, âI donât know why anyone would choose anywhere else. Itâs a beautiful venue and they take care of so much for you!â I cannot thank Cannon Green and Anna enough, everything was perfect!!!

Having our wedding at Cannon Green was the best decision ever!!! Immediately I began working with Anna over a year before our wedding date. She scheduled a phone conference to answer some questions then invited my fiancĂ© and me to Cannon Green to get a tour of the venue and some more information. Cannon Green does so much for you! They provide the linens, tables, chairs, lighting, a dance floor, food, alcohol, wait staff, and I am sure I am forgetting other details. Working with Anna, she provided us a preferred vendor list and gave us a timeline of what to expect with the planning process. We could email Anna at any point throughout the process and know we would get a response within 24 hours! About three months out we received an email from Anna about the food tasting. You are able to invite two other guests, no charge. When we arrived Anna was there to greet us with a glass of champagne. At the tasting we tried five hors d'oeuvres, two first courses, two second courses, three white wines and three red wines. Anna also discussed with us the layout of the reception and the day of schedule with different examples at hand if we needed it. It was so helpful, I was so happy with how organized and professional the tasting felt. Anna made time to sit down with my photographer, day of and myself to finalize the schedule and make sure everyone was on the same page about a month out. During the reception I received many compliments about Cannon Green! From how awesome it was that there was an outside courtyard to the inside of the beautiful venue. That the food was delicious and the wait staff was very helpful. Anna even came to ask my fiancĂ© and me if we needed anything and wished us a happy marriage. Truly Cannon Green is extremely organized, which was so helpful and saved me time with planning and thinking. It felt as though I had a wedding planner, who helped me think out the details that I wanted. The food is AMAZING and everyone raved about how delicious everything was! The wait staff was quick to anyoneâs needs and observant. Although the price seems high, there is so much included at such a high quality that one would spend contacting other vendors for the small details. Just as my photographer said, âI donât know why anyone would choose anywhere else. Itâs a beautiful venue and they take care of so much for you!â I cannot thank Cannon Green and Anna enough, everything was perfect!!!

Being from out of town, we were a little overwhelmed when trying to choose a Charleston venue for our son's rehearsal dinner party. The venue event planner Demi Meeker showed us around and explained all the restaurant had to offer us and created a wonderful tasting menu for us to choose our dinner menu. Not only was the food some of the best low country fine dining we've ever had, their staff is so professional, friendly and charming. We can't say enough good things about Cannon Green.Both the restaurant and the Trolley Room event space were gorgeous--open, fresh, bright, clean and inviting. Cannon Green is an eclectic mix of old meets new South design. Cannon Green offers so much included in their event packages too---beautiful round tables, chiavari chairs, gorgeous cream linens, pretty white china, flatware and glasses, votives and candles, lush greenery, lanterns, and a private entry for guests with impeccable restrooms. We needed to bring in very few extras to complete our dinner party design. Right off the Trolley Room is a breathtaking courtyard with swaying palms, water features, cocktail lounges and tables and delightful strings of party lights. We hosted both our cocktail hour and a party for 250 guests after dinner in the courtyard and it was amazing. Cannon Green waitstaff were right on hand to make sure each of our guests had whatever they needed as they enjoyed a warm Charleston evening. I'd give Cannon Green ten stars if I could! For an event filled with the finest Southern food, design and hospitality, you won't find any venue in Charleston that can compare with Cannon Green.

If I could give more than five stars, I would! Cannon Green was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. The space is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We actually booked it sight unseen (destination wedding), and if anyone is considering it, I would tell you to absolutely do it. Demi at Cannon Green is so nice and helpful and was truly one of the rockstars of our wedding. The staff and service at Cannon Green is impeccable, and the food was seriously top notch. Two weeks later and everyone is still talking about how good the food was, how beautiful the venue, etc. Five stars for sure!The other nice thing is that since it's actually a working restaurant (and it was awesome), we'll actually be able to come back here for anniversaries / visits in the future :) #sappybride

Cannon Green was a breath taking venue for our ceremony and reception, and Demi Meeker and the rest of the team there helped make our wedding planning process easy and pleasant. We knew Cannon Green was the right venue from the beginning based on the gorgeous setting and the services provided by the venue that make it easy to plan a wedding remotely. Demi also put us in touch with our wedding planner and helped coordinate other key decisions.Our guests were blown away by the venue - we loved seeing them post photos in front of the lush greenery in the courtyard. It was also great to have a venue that was easily accessible from downtown and did not require car rentals (as all of our guests were from out of town).In addition to the professional staff on hand and the beautiful set up at Cannon Green, it is worth mentioning the food and beverages there. The groom was focused on providing good food to our guests, and we couldn't have done better than Cannon Green. The menu options were creative and perfectly prepared. The wines offered were also high quality. We found that the food and wine pairing choices were on-trend and lined up with what we were seeing in restaurants in NY (with somewhat of a low-country flair). The tasting was really fun and it was very hard to choose both food and wine!Overall - the venue, the staff and the cuisine made this venue the perfect choice. We would highly recommend it to others looking for a wedding in downtown Charleston.

All we had to bring in was flowers, music and photography. Demi was so helpful from the start and made the whole wedding planning process not as painful as I imagined it would be.Our wedding ended up being absolutely perfect and far exceeded our expectations. We had the ceremony and cocktail hour in the courtyard and reception in the Trolley Room. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was. I even had a couple of people tell me that it was the best wedding food we ever had. We did the tuscan family style menu which incorporates buffet style without having to wait in line. The staff was extremely attentive. I have zero complaints and I highly recommend Cannon Green to anyone wanting to have a flawless and beautiful wedding.

First of all, this place is absolutely gorgeous! But a lot of places in Charleston are, so what sets Cannon apart is the experience. I planned a wedding from Charlotte NC in 3 months. It was so easy to do because I picked the absolute best venue to host my wedding and reception. Alyson Antinopoulos is the event manager at Cannon, and she is OUTSTANDING. you are required to have a professional coordinator onsite for the wedding, so I was forced to hire someone, however, Alyson was truly the star support of my wedding planning. Every decision, question, concern had a simple solution whenever I brought it to Alyson, I never had to worry about the directives or advice that she gave me, as it was always exactly what I was looking for. Also, so kept me on tasks for all the decisions I needed to make and was always available when I needed her. She is amazing at her job, and is as gracious and kind and honest as a best friend. She gave us an experience that we will cherish forever. The staff orchestrated each part of our event like a rehearsed dance. The food was delicious and unique(not the stale chicken and flavorless tough beef of most weddings). The drinks were lavish and fun. And again, the venue itself- every corner- is perfection.We will certainly celebrate our anniversary at Cannon, and look forward to visiting this jewel in all the years to come. Thank you, Alyson and Staff, for making our wedding day perfect!

This was a destination Wedding for us. And, this is the comment I wrote to the staff at the Venue. Cannon Green gets a 5 Star for Quality; they handled everything on every detail flawlessly. Every cost was up front and nothing left unattended. We cannot thank you enough. The evening was beautiful; I want a rerun. Everyone thought the service was outstanding (the timing on servicing was right on) and so was the food, absolutely fabulous (one course after another). I missed most of the canapes (but, tasted all of them prior at an earlier food tasting we attended) bc I had to meet and greet but, heard how fabulous they all were and the first course winter squash salad to be exceptional from everyone too. Entrees were equally raved about. No empty plates. And, everyone loved the sliders; they were delicious.Thank you for getting the inside cooler. It was 72 degrees outside that day. I asked many what they thought of the place and they couldn't have been more wonderfully surprised when they stepped through the doors into the courtyard. All have said, it was Outstanding and the Best Wedding they have ever attended. Presentation in the Courtyard was Amazing and inside carried through exceptionally as well with many of us having our breath taken away. I understand how 1st impression has to be important bc I am a Realtor. Being Wowed at first and then continuing on will always make it a winner and you have accomplished that task.The atmosphere was magical, enchanting and personal. Much Success and Thank You for allowing us in. I know we were the first wedding 1/3/15 and I hope the word gets out for you; I know it will from our group. Thank you again.
